Speaker 6: in a while with Steve Animal from her sister station

Speaker 6: ninety eight to seven of the Mountain Wild, a wonderful classic.
• 2:10
Speaker 3: Why he ain't doing Buddy, I'm good, I'm good. Why
• 2:12
Speaker 3: are you here? Why you asked me to be here?
• 2:15
Speaker 7: Okaypefully, my friend Jamie from Scareview is with me and
• 2:19
Speaker 7: we're broadcasting live there Friday night, and we'll be back
• 2:22
Speaker 7: there again throughout the month of October. We'll wrap it
• 2:26
Speaker 7: up Halloween night, which is kind of cool. And we've
• 2:28
Speaker 7: been giving away tickets on the other stations in the
• 2:31
Speaker 7: family here and uh yeah, I always have fun because
• 2:35
Speaker 7: Jamie dresses up, he's in character. I mean he's even
• 2:37
Speaker 7: gone to show us a visual see he's even really
• 2:42
  Speaker 7: living the party.
• 2:43
Speaker 3: You know this is radio, right, Steve, they can't see that. Man,
• 2:46
Speaker 3: You're just gonna have to come up to Scareview that Jamie.
• 2:49
Speaker 3: How you doing, Muddy, I'm good?
• 2:51
Speaker 8: How you doing great?
• 2:51
  Speaker 5: To be here?
• 2:52
Speaker 3: How's how's it been so far?
• 2:54
Speaker 8: It's been great? All right?
• 2:55
Speaker 3: Now, and remind people where it is.
• 2:57
Speaker 8: High Street in Saint Oleans all right.
• 2:59
Speaker 6: And so you got underway on you did one on
• 3:02
Speaker 6: September the twenty seventh, at end, you did October third, fourth, tenth,
• 3:05
Speaker 6: and eleventh, and you're back again this Friday and Saturday night,
• 3:08
Speaker 6: the following Friday and Saturday night.
• 3:09
Speaker 3: Then back on Halloween night, right sir? All right?
• 3:11
Speaker 6: And see if you were out there broadcasting live on
• 3:13
Speaker 6: the Mountain Friday night, how was that?
• 3:15
  Speaker 3: It is awesome?
• 3:15
Speaker 7: Like this place, what are we in now?
• 3:17
Speaker 8: What year is this seventeenth year? I believe?
• 3:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, which is crazy?
• 3:20
Speaker 7: And this thing during so you get there like if
• 3:23
Speaker 7: you went last year, as you walked through the place,
• 3:25
Speaker 7: got scared white yourself like some people.
• 3:27
Speaker 3: Did well at your age, Steve, that happened.
• 3:31
Speaker 7: Yeah, come on by the mountain table. I have some
• 3:33
Speaker 7: dependent for you there and I'll sign them.
• 3:36
Speaker 3: Oh, there we go.
• 3:37
Speaker 6: Did you seriously have someone without going in all the details, Jamie,
• 3:40
Speaker 6: but did you really have someone who?
• 3:42
Speaker 8: Yes? Oh yeah, okay, that's an every night thing.
• 3:45
Speaker 3: Every night that happens.
• 3:47
Speaker 7: Yeah, And it's funny because like they get you. You know,
• 3:50
Speaker 7: you're lined up outside, You're not just standing there, You're
• 3:52
Speaker 7: actually being entertained the entire time, which some of the creatures.
• 3:58
Speaker 7: The critter is my favorite, you know, but that you're
• 4:02
Speaker 7: in shock and ah, but about the house, it's really
• 4:05
Speaker 7: neat because these guys spend a lot of time in
• 4:07
Speaker 7: the off season. Money is going to the volunteer West
• 4:10
Speaker 7: Side Volunteer Fire departments, sir. And but it changes like
• 4:15
Speaker 7: it's it's a house that changes itself. You walk into
• 4:17
Speaker 7: one room this year and me, look like this next
• 4:19
Speaker 7: year doesn't look anything like it did the year. You
• 4:22
Speaker 7: think it's like, oh, yeah, I've been here before. I know,
• 4:24
Speaker 7: Oh this is not the same place, right.
• 4:26
Speaker 3: Yeah. So Jamie, have you been involved in this since
• 4:29
Speaker 3: day one? Since the very beginning? And it goes back
• 4:30
Speaker 3: to two thousand and eight, I think you said.
• 4:33
Speaker 6: What was it that appealed to you or the organizers
• 4:36
Speaker 6: from the very beginning? Where did this idea actually come from?
• 4:39
Speaker 9: It's like their idea was it was a cross between
• 4:42
Speaker 9: West Side and the Tornado Volunteer Fire Department.
• 4:45
Speaker 6: Okay, all right, And but has this been something that
• 4:47
Speaker 6: that you personally, because in order the people that do
• 4:50
Speaker 6: these sorts of haunted trails, haunted houses, whatever the case
• 4:53
Speaker 6: may be, it's somebody that's got a love of that
• 4:55
Speaker 6: sort of thing to begin with, so it'll be genuine.
• 4:57
Speaker 9: Yeah, I've been a junkie since I was thirteen or
• 4:59
Speaker 9: fourteen year years old.
• 5:01
Speaker 6: Talk about some of your experiences growing up, some places
• 5:03
Speaker 6: that you may have gone, like different trails and stuff.
• 5:06
Speaker 9: House to one of the trails to see Cato Park
• 5:08
Speaker 9: was a big one when I was growing up.
• 5:11
Speaker 8: The Myers House, which a lot of people don't remember.
• 5:13
Speaker 8: It was in St.
• 5:13
Speaker 9: Albans and they actually put f live chainsaws through walls there,
• 5:17
  Speaker 9: which was crazy.
• 5:19
Speaker 3: They can't do that anymore.
• 5:21
  Speaker 8: Well, it depends.
• 5:24
Speaker 3: Is that word again?
• 5:26
Speaker 8: There there's so many.
• 5:28
Speaker 9: I mean we go to a trade show every year
• 5:30
Speaker 9: out in Missouri and Saint Louis and you get the
• 5:32
Speaker 9: you get to meet up with all the people that's
• 5:35
  Speaker 9: into industry. So it's just it's a love it's a
• 5:39
  Speaker 9: love hate relationship.
• 5:40
Speaker 7: It's actually an industry like it is evolved into. It
• 5:44
Speaker 7: took over Christmas, yeah, it had. I mean they even
• 5:47
Speaker 7: had had loast. I mean there was Halloween stuff out
• 5:50
Speaker 7: on the fourth of July. I'm just like, really, here
• 5:52
Speaker 7: we go and it's amazing.
• 5:54
Speaker 6: I mean this event, you know too, and every year
• 5:57
Speaker 6: somebody pops up different you know, we're gonna try to
• 5:59
Speaker 6: do a honted house, and god lesson for all trying
• 6:00
Speaker 6: to do that, but very few stand the test of
• 6:03
Speaker 6: time because it's you know, these things run on volunteers
• 6:06
Speaker 6: and nobody gets paid anything, and so people just burn
• 6:11
Speaker 6: out and so on and so forth. But you guys
• 6:12
Speaker 6: must enjoy what you're doing to have done it since
• 6:14
Speaker 6: two thousand and eight.
• 6:16
Speaker 8: I have a dedicated group that helps me.
• 6:18
Speaker 6: How many people, roughly does it take to pull this off?
• 6:20
Speaker 8: Because this year was about eight of us.
• 6:24
Speaker 6: Okay, all right, and that's and not only are you
• 6:27
Speaker 6: giving up you know, your your time, but many of
• 6:30
Speaker 6: you are giving up your dollars and so on and
• 6:32
Speaker 6: so forth, and your skills to be able to put
• 6:34
  Speaker 6: these things on.
• 6:36
Speaker 8: Yes, yeah, like I said, the eight, the eight that
• 6:39
  Speaker 8: was just builders.
• 6:40
Speaker 9: We have over one hundred volunteers right now, actor wise
• 6:43
  Speaker 9: and everything else.
• 6:44
Speaker 6: So how many how many actors? If I go out,
• 6:46
Speaker 6: let's say, on Friday night, now, how many approximately, how
• 6:48
Speaker 6: many actors are going to be there?
• 6:50
  Speaker 8: Fifteen?
• 6:50
Speaker 3: Is that what you call them as actors? Okay?
• 6:53
Speaker 6: And what and we don't want to give too much
• 6:54
Speaker 6: away on the air, but what what can people expect
• 6:57
Speaker 6: when they come out, we'll just leave it at that
• 7:01
Speaker 6: and crying and apparently you're a nation.
• 7:02
Speaker 8: But to get scared, I don't know.
• 7:04
Speaker 7: Yeah, some people laugh, some people cry. I mean, it's
• 7:07
Speaker 7: a roller coaster of emotions. But it's uh, you know,
• 7:10
Speaker 7: everybody going into it is just there to have a
• 7:13
Speaker 7: good time. And that's what it's there for too, not
• 7:15
Speaker 7: only entertainment, but again raising some good money for a
• 7:18
Speaker 7: good crew that needs the money. The West Side Volunteer
• 7:21
Speaker 7: Fire Department, and they're there on hand to lend a hand.
• 7:25
Speaker 7: They fire up the grill for those that are volunteering,
• 7:28
Speaker 7: which is very cool. So and if you want to
• 7:30
Speaker 7: be an actor, maybe you want to come out and
• 7:32
Speaker 7: see what it's about.
• 7:32
Speaker 8: Yeah, come find me and I'll sign you all right.
• 7:35
Speaker 3: Hang out with you. Here's one second.
• 7:36
Speaker 6: Dave Valan Chilling five eighty Live is brought to you
• 7:38
Speaker 6: parted by Husband's Pizza. This month, get a large at
• 7:40
Speaker 6: and Itch Pepperoni pizza and to order of fifty centm
• 7:43
Speaker 6: and Bites twenty ninety nine. Find your closest Hustans for delivery.
• 7:46
Speaker 6: Pug Upper dined in at Huston's Pizza dot com. It's
• 7:48
Speaker 6: speaking of food as I was. One of the things
• 7:50
Speaker 6: I like about what you guys do here is you're
• 7:53
Speaker 6: pricing on the tickets. You're encouraging people to bring out
• 7:56
Speaker 6: nonperishable food. Food out Jamie talking about you get.
• 7:58
Speaker 9: Two bucks off your make at price of twelve dollars
• 8:01
Speaker 9: goes to Christ Kitchens and a couple of other local
• 8:03
Speaker 9: food banks right there and them.
• 8:05
Speaker 6: And it doesn't necessarily you don't have to bring like
• 8:07
Speaker 6: cases of or anything like that, just a couple of
• 8:09
Speaker 6: cans here and there.
• 8:10
Speaker 8: You could bring a can to cans whatever you feel like.
• 8:12
Speaker 9: Yeah, we filled up a couple of trailers so far
• 8:15
Speaker 9: on Christ Kitchens and stuff.
• 8:17
Speaker 7: Early is and you know, it doesn't take anything to
• 8:20
Speaker 7: help people out. And this this is what this thing
• 8:23
  Speaker 7: is about anyway.
• 8:24
Speaker 9: So everything goes back into the community, yeah, one way
• 8:27
  Speaker 9: or another.
• 8:28
Speaker 6: And the voluntary, as you said, with people that come
• 8:30
Speaker 6: out and volunteer for this sort of thing, You've got
• 8:32
Speaker 6: to be a certain kind of person that wants to
• 8:34
Speaker 6: do this because you never know what the reaction of
• 8:39
Speaker 6: certain people is going to be. Some people are going
• 8:42
Speaker 6: to come through, just like with any other thing, like
• 8:44
Speaker 6: some people are going to come through and they're gonna
• 8:45
Speaker 6: be like, uh okay, and then there's going to be
• 8:47
Speaker 6: other people that are all because I volunteered and done
• 8:51
Speaker 6: haunted houses years and one hundred years.
• 8:52
Speaker 3: Ago we did one.
• 8:54
Speaker 6: And you have those people that come in usually usually
• 8:57
Speaker 6: team boys, you know, or young guys you know nothing
• 9:00
  Speaker 6: bothers me.
• 9:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, get back with me in about five minutes.
• 9:03
Speaker 8: Those are the ones that you want.
• 9:06
Speaker 6: Talk about the age appropriateness for this, because sometimes people
• 9:10
Speaker 6: will say, well, it's I mean, you know your kid
• 9:13
Speaker 6: better than anybody does.
• 9:14
Speaker 3: We'll start with that.
• 9:15
Speaker 6: Not all kids are going to be the same, but yeah,
• 9:18
Speaker 6: but is there an age like that.
• 9:19
  Speaker 9: There's there's no age, there's nothing there, there's no requirement.
• 9:23
Speaker 9: If you feel like that they can go.
• 9:25
Speaker 3: Through then, but they do have to be accompanied by
• 9:28
  Speaker 3: most Yes. Yeah.
• 9:29
Speaker 7: So there was a like a three year old who
• 9:31
Speaker 7: came out, went through the thing and came out kind
• 9:34
Speaker 7: of crying, and I had like low bracelets and stuff
• 9:37
Speaker 7: at the mountain table and gave her one. It's like,
• 9:40
Speaker 7: oh okay, shiny objects. Yeah, completely gone, you know, just
• 9:43
Speaker 7: happy and on her way she went.
• 9:46
Speaker 3: So it was kind of fun.
• 9:47
Speaker 9: So if you come up and you say, like if
• 9:49
Speaker 9: if you have like a five or six year old.
• 9:51
Speaker 9: You paid to get in. We have what we call
• 9:52
Speaker 9: a chicken line. Once you get past that line, you're
• 9:54
Speaker 9: not getting your money back. Okay, the chicken line once
• 9:59
Speaker 9: you once you, once you get in, and if they
• 10:02
Speaker 9: decide that they can't do it or don't want to
• 10:04
Speaker 9: do it before they get in the door, we try
• 10:05
Speaker 9: our best to get them through there.
• 10:08
  Speaker 8: We'll go through.
• 10:09
Speaker 9: Tell our actors not to scare them.
• 10:11
Speaker 8: We'll walk through as characters.
• 10:13
Speaker 9: You know you want to go through with one of
• 10:14
Speaker 9: the scariest people here, Come on, we'll go We've even
• 10:18
Speaker 9: turned the lights back on for people before.
• 10:19
Speaker 3: How long does it take to go through?
• 10:23
  Speaker 5: Saturday?
• 10:23
Speaker 9: We timed a group at twenty five minutes, but they
• 10:25
Speaker 9: were flat out running.
• 10:27
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 10:28
Speaker 8: The longest we've had has been fifty minutes so far.
• 10:30
Speaker 3: Okay, all right? And how many do you take back
• 10:33
  Speaker 3: at a time?
• 10:34
Speaker 8: Ten? Ten or so ten to a group, usually eight
• 10:37
  Speaker 8: to ten.
• 10:38
Speaker 9: And you come in. As you come in, there's two
• 10:40
Speaker 9: groups in the building. You get the rules. Then we
• 10:43
Speaker 9: send one group in and we put one group in
• 10:45
Speaker 9: what we call chicken coop, and you get you get
• 10:47
Speaker 9: tormented for five minutes or so.
• 10:49
Speaker 6: Okay, in the dark right, and then again this is
• 10:54
Speaker 6: all it's all community based. It all helps out the
• 10:57
Speaker 6: West Side Fire Department, and of course you're helping out
• 10:59
Speaker 6: christ Kitchen with the nonperishable food items as well.
• 11:02
Speaker 3: There's a is there a social media people can go
• 11:04
Speaker 3: to and take a look at it. And you're gonna
• 11:06
Speaker 3: give away too much on social media, I know, but
• 11:07
  Speaker 3: go ahead.
• 11:07
Speaker 8: But one other thing too.
• 11:09
Speaker 9: Yeah, all of our actors, if they're like college, high school,
• 11:12
Speaker 9: or middle school, they all get volunteer community.
• 11:15
Speaker 3: Which is required to graduate.
• 11:16
Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly, it's not the kind of community service you
• 11:19
  Speaker 6: got Steve yours.
• 11:20
Speaker 3: Yours was court ordered.
• 11:21
Speaker 8: The funny thing is that's how I met Steve. Really,
• 11:24
Speaker 8: we were on the same chain game.
• 11:26
Speaker 6: You had to go there, Stephen, Steve and his mom
• 11:29
Speaker 6: were on the same chain game there together. It's it's
• 11:31
Speaker 6: lovely when families come together like that.
• 11:33
Speaker 3: You can't wait for the holidays, all.
• 11:34
Speaker 6: Right, So you got this next, you got this coming
• 11:37
Speaker 6: Friday and Saturday, the following Friday and Saturday, and then
• 11:40
Speaker 6: on Halloween night. That's got to be because Halloween is
• 11:42
Speaker 6: on a Friday this year. So that's after you and
• 11:46
Speaker 6: what are your hours? By the way, I need to.
• 11:47
Speaker 8: Mention the dusk till midnight.
• 11:50
Speaker 9: We sell the last ticket at midnight and we stay
• 11:52
Speaker 9: until we get the last group through.
• 11:53
Speaker 7: All right, all right, and one more thing, uh scare
• 11:56
Speaker 7: of you. We'll fire up the halls again December fifth
• 11:59
  Speaker 7: for cramp.
• 12:00
Speaker 8: Oh yeah, we've not done we've never done the Crampus before.
• 12:03
Speaker 6: We think the last time you were here last year,
• 12:05
Speaker 6: you talked about plans for that, that you'd like to
• 12:07
  Speaker 6: do that.
• 12:08
  Speaker 3: So what's up?
• 12:08
Speaker 6: And we'll have you on before then to talk about it,
• 12:10
Speaker 6: but give us a brief preview what that's going to.
• 12:12
Speaker 9: Be December fifth and sixth, which is actually the German
• 12:15
  Speaker 9: holiday at Crumpingstone.
• 12:17
Speaker 8: It's going to be a holiday haunt.
• 12:19
Speaker 9: The price goes up just a little bit more, and
• 12:21
Speaker 9: we don't take can donations. We're taking toy donations, okay,
• 12:25
Speaker 9: instead to get your two dollars off your tickets.

  Speaker 3: You're fine.
• 15:57
Speaker 6: Of course, you're on the Let's Talk podcast with Carly,

Speaker 6: but you make appearances on there.
• 16:02
Speaker 3: We are that here.
• 16:03
Speaker 6: It's not only a podcast but also air it on
• 16:05
Speaker 6: the air as well. But now you want to be
• 16:06
Speaker 6: a member of the Kanawha County Board of Education. Yeah
• 16:09
Speaker 6: all right, so before we get into why you're doing that,
• 16:12
Speaker 6: give us the bio and Lisa Odie okay.
• 16:15
Speaker 15: Well, Dave, I'm from eastern Kanac County. I grew up
• 16:18
Speaker 15: in Bell, West Virginia, attended Bell Elementary in DuPont High School,
• 16:23
Speaker 15: went on to attend State College and Marshall to obtain
• 16:27
Speaker 15: my bachelor's and master's degree. And then, of course I
• 16:31
Speaker 15: was hired by kennaw County Schools and I served a
• 16:34
Speaker 15: variety of positions with them over my thirty five year tenure.
• 16:38
Speaker 15: I started as a preschool teacher, was a kindergarten teacher,
• 16:41
Speaker 15: a librarian, a technician, a reading interventionist, and then the
• 16:46
Speaker 15: last six years of my career, I was a reading specialist.
• 16:50
Speaker 3: And that means you did everything. Would drive the bus
• 16:52
Speaker 3: at this point, right, I could.
• 16:53
Speaker 15: I could have probably driven the bus as well, Dave.
• 16:55
Speaker 15: But yeah, that last position that I served in for
• 16:58
Speaker 15: the last seven years of my career with a county schools,
• 17:01
Speaker 15: what's the one that really brought to my attention. You know,
• 17:05
Speaker 15: the whole county. I was able to serve K twelve.
• 17:07
Speaker 15: I was able to serve you know, all students. I
• 17:10
Speaker 15: serve families, I serve teachers and staff individually, and I
• 17:14
Speaker 15: learned a lot about the school system and you know,
• 17:16
Speaker 15: some of the things that they may need or not
• 17:19
Speaker 15: need to be successful in the future.
• 17:22
Speaker 6: So with your background, having done everything that you did
• 17:24
Speaker 6: within the school system, yes, they're there. What kind of
• 17:27
Speaker 6: a I don't want to say advantage, that's not well, okay,
• 17:30
Speaker 6: I'll say advantage. I mean, what kind of experiences did
• 17:33
Speaker 6: did you learn or did you take part in there, Lisa,
• 17:35
Speaker 6: that you think will make you a good member of
• 17:37
Speaker 6: the canaw County Board of Education.
• 17:39
Speaker 15: Well, I feel like Dave, We've got a great board
• 17:41
Speaker 15: that sitting board right now. But a lot of them
• 17:44
Speaker 15: come from business backgrounds, a lot of them come from
• 17:46
Speaker 15: the administrative side of things in the school system. I'm
• 17:49
Speaker 15: coming fresh from the trenches. I just retired. Like I said,
• 17:52
Speaker 15: I had the myriad of positions when I worked in
• 17:56
Speaker 15: the county, and I feel like those are advantages because
• 18:00
Speaker 15: I can see through the eyes of the students because
• 18:02
Speaker 15: I worked with them individually. I can see through the
• 18:03
Speaker 15: eyes of the families that I worked with, you know,
• 18:05
Speaker 15: in meetings and in emails and phone calls.
• 18:08
  Speaker 5: You know.
• 18:09
Speaker 15: I can also see through the eyes of the teachers
• 18:11
Speaker 15: and stuff, because you know, I worked with those people
• 18:13
Speaker 15: as well. So I feel like just the point of
• 18:15
Speaker 15: view that I'm bringing to the board would be valuable.
• 18:18
Speaker 6: Talking again with Lisa Odie, who's going to be a
• 18:19
Speaker 6: candidate for a board of education in Kanawa count Even
• 18:22
Speaker 6: Dave Allen showing five dyline broad toom parted by the
• 18:24
Speaker 6: All New Generations board of Hurricane check out Generations for
• 18:27
Speaker 6: dot Com. Now there's you know a lot of people
• 18:28
Speaker 6: get these ideas for political office, whether it's board or whatever,
• 18:32
Speaker 6: and they say, well, you know, I think I could
• 18:33
  Speaker 6: do it.
• 18:34
  Speaker 3: I really I've got a passion for this, and I'm
• 18:37
Speaker 3: sure you do, but it's got.
• 18:39
Speaker 6: To go, you know a little bit beyond that, How
• 18:41
Speaker 6: difficult was to talk about your decision making progress to
• 18:45
Speaker 6: decide to make the run for Ward of Education?
• 18:47
Speaker 14: Okay, it was a back and forth battle. You know.
• 18:50
Speaker 15: There were some events that led up to it that
• 18:52
Speaker 15: kind of pushed me in this direction, but overall I
• 18:56
Speaker 15: kind of went back and forth because I thought to myself,
• 18:59
Speaker 15: you know, I want to be some someone that's an
• 19:01
Speaker 15: advocate for the students and families in Kanah County as
• 19:04
Speaker 15: well as the staff. The political climate in public schools
• 19:09
  Speaker 15: definitely is changing.
• 19:11
  Speaker 14: You're seeing, you.
• 19:11
Speaker 15: Know, a push for the for the you know, Hope Scholarship,
• 19:14
Speaker 15: and that's kind of you know, it's kind of a
• 19:17
Speaker 15: balancing act between funding your public schools and also being
• 19:21
Speaker 15: able to fund those families who choose to you know,
• 19:24
Speaker 15: private school their or homeschool their their children. And so
• 19:27
Speaker 15: I feel like I could be a voice of reason
• 19:30
Speaker 15: going into this position, kind of seeing all sides and
• 19:34
Speaker 15: trying to you know, bring everybody to the table so
• 19:37
Speaker 15: that we can kind of figure out a way that
• 19:38
Speaker 15: this works for every single student in West Virginia.
• 19:41
Speaker 6: Excuse me, and will I will say this. You bring
• 19:44
Speaker 6: up a very good point across across the nation, and
• 19:48
Speaker 6: especially in West Virginia and Kanawha County is not not
• 19:52
Speaker 6: unique in this parents are choosing for one reason or another.
• 19:56
Speaker 6: They're choosing aspects other than quote unquote traditional of public schools.
• 20:01
Speaker 6: Whether it's and I'm talking about traditional, whether it's charter schools,
• 20:05
Speaker 6: whether it's homeschooling, whether it's scholars or whatever the case
• 20:07
Speaker 6: may be. They're choosing other things. And you know that's
• 20:11
Speaker 6: not necessarily a good thing or a bad thing, depends
• 20:13
Speaker 6: on your unique position.
• 20:14
Speaker 3: Where are you on that.
• 20:16
Speaker 14: I mean, I think every family has a right to choose.
• 20:18
Speaker 15: I think where we have to figure out the answers
• 20:20
Speaker 15: is we have to make sure that the funding for
• 20:23
Speaker 15: public schools are also in place. Every single student. It's
• 20:26
Speaker 15: not my kids, it's not your kids. These are all
• 20:29
Speaker 15: our kids, and we need to ensure that every single
• 20:31
Speaker 15: child in West Virginia has an opportunity for the best
• 20:34
Speaker 15: education possible. And so we have to figure out a
• 20:37
Speaker 15: way to get this funding worked out so that all
• 20:39
Speaker 15: students have an opportunity to do that.
• 20:42
Speaker 6: And it's been said, Lisa, and I know, one member
• 20:46
Speaker 6: of a board of education can't necessarily change this, but
• 20:49
Speaker 6: it's been said that in West Virginia that we aren't
• 20:52
Speaker 6: producing students that are ready for the world. And again,
• 20:57
Speaker 6: one board member is not going to, you know, change
• 20:59
Speaker 6: that that much. Sure, But I mean, where have we
• 21:04
Speaker 6: It's a million dollar question. But but but but where
• 21:07
Speaker 6: have we? Where have we gone off the rails now?
• 21:09
Speaker 6: I will say I had Conaw County School Superintendent to
• 21:12
Speaker 6: doctor Paul Potter on the show on Metro News Midday
• 21:14
Speaker 6: on Friday, and she talked about the one school in
• 21:16
Speaker 6: particular that had a very rapid uptick in scores. So
• 21:20
Speaker 6: it's not all gloom and doom out there, no, but
• 21:23
Speaker 6: there have been there seems to be a lot of
• 21:24
Speaker 6: stories come out this says West Virginia students, not unique
• 21:27
Speaker 6: to Kanawa County are just not ready for the world.
• 21:29
Speaker 3: How do we how do we change that?
• 21:31
  Speaker 15: I mean, I think we're making huge strides. I think
• 21:34
Speaker 15: there was an article just the other day that, you know,
• 21:36
Speaker 15: some of the media outlets shared about the test scores
• 21:39
Speaker 15: are on the rise, you know, s a T scores.
• 21:41
Speaker 14: I think we're on the right path.
• 21:43
Speaker 15: I just think we can have to ensure that you know,
• 21:45
Speaker 15: our our teachers and staff are you know, supported enough
• 21:49
Speaker 15: that this this this, you know, this rise keeps going
• 21:51
Speaker 15: in the right direction. We need to make sure that
• 21:54
Speaker 15: you know, students get the same support as well and families.
• 21:58
Speaker 14: You know, we just have to make sure. I think
• 21:59
Speaker 14: we're on the right path, Dave.
• 22:00
Speaker 15: I just think we need to continue doing these outside
• 22:03
Speaker 15: things that keeps them rising.
• 22:06
Speaker 3: What are some of those said things you think?
• 22:08
Speaker 15: Okay, well, I mean, you know, just making sure that
• 22:10
Speaker 15: you know, these students are are able to access great curriculums,
• 22:13
Speaker 15: which I think are in place. I also think that
• 22:16
Speaker 15: you know, being able to make sure that that teachers have,
• 22:19
Speaker 15: you know, classroom sizes that are that are manageable. We
• 22:23
Speaker 15: don't want to overload classes so that teachers are stressed
• 22:26
Speaker 15: and overwhelmed and the students, you know, are they feel
• 22:29
Speaker 15: that as well. So we need to make sure, you know,
• 22:31
Speaker 15: and some of this stuff is out of county control,
• 22:34
  Speaker 15: you know, it's it's state funded, it's it's national issues,
• 22:38
Speaker 15: it's it's not something that Kennell County can fix. All
• 22:40
Speaker 15: we can do is take care of the things that
• 22:43
Speaker 15: we can take care of, as you know, acting as
• 22:45
Speaker 15: a board and and just making sure that you know,
• 22:48
Speaker 15: we're doing everything we can to help everybody meet their goals.
• 22:53
Speaker 6: And of course, if you're elected, you would be one
• 22:55
Speaker 6: of a few at five Board of Education members and
• 22:59
Speaker 6: you work with the superintend I'm going to ask you
• 23:01
Speaker 6: a question going back to your education, the educational how
• 23:04
Speaker 6: are you working with others? You get me working well
• 23:07
  Speaker 6: with others.
• 23:09
Speaker 14: I think I get five five stars for that for sure.
• 23:11
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 23:12
Speaker 6: And again when you talk about the experience that you've
• 23:14
Speaker 6: had inside the classroom, I think it's a and again, everybody,
• 23:17
Speaker 6: no matter what the board is, everybody brings something different
• 23:19
Speaker 6: to the table, whether it's business or whether it's whatever.
• 23:21
Speaker 6: But having you know somebody who's actually been in the classroom,
• 23:24
Speaker 6: I think I would think that that would be an advantage.
• 23:26
Speaker 14: Yeah, I would too.
• 23:27
Speaker 15: I mean, like I said, I think the sitting board,
• 23:29
Speaker 15: you know, they've got a great selection of people. But
• 23:33
Speaker 15: I feel like that I would be a you know
• 23:34
Speaker 15: a great addition to what we have in place now.
• 23:38
Speaker 15: And you know, if people vote for me, that that
• 23:40
Speaker 15: that would just you know, strengthen what we've got going
• 23:43
Speaker 15: on in Kanall County.
• 23:44
Speaker 6: Again, we're talking with Lisa Odie, who is going to
• 23:46
Speaker 6: be a candidate for the Kanaw County Board of Education.
• 23:48
Speaker 3: What's your campaign style going to be? Are you going
• 23:50
  Speaker 3: door to door?
• 23:51
Speaker 15: Youosroots store, that's all grassroots? You know, I'm having to
• 23:56
Speaker 15: right now, I'm working on a website. Don't have that
• 23:59
Speaker 15: in play show, Okay, do have a Facebook that you
• 24:02
Speaker 15: can access that I'm going to be, you know, posting
• 24:04
Speaker 15: different different links to you know, hopefully we'll have some
• 24:07
Speaker 15: some fundraising parties and things going on. Also a link
• 24:11
Speaker 15: to maybe if you want to donate to my campaign,
• 24:12
Speaker 15: that would be so great, so valuable to my whole journey. Here,
• 24:17
Speaker 15: my Facebook handle is Lisa od four and it's KCS
• 24:21
  Speaker 15: all caps, b O.
• 24:22
  Speaker 3: E all caps okay, and it's O T E y.
• 24:25
  Speaker 14: Yes, I'm sorry y O T e ys how you
• 24:26
  Speaker 14: spell my.
• 24:27
  Speaker 3: Same right now?
• 24:28
Speaker 6: In addition, we'll get away from the board. So just
• 24:31
Speaker 6: for a moment, we have mentioned the podcast and so
• 24:32
Speaker 6: on and so forth. But you've got kind of a
• 24:35
Speaker 6: very background outside of the world of education.
• 24:38
Speaker 3: I mean, you've done broadcasting, done.
• 24:40
  Speaker 15: A little bit of r Yeah, I mean I've done
• 24:42
  Speaker 15: our I did R s N for years. That's part
• 24:45
Speaker 15: of HD Media. It was a tailgate show and you know,
• 24:49
Speaker 15: we did the high school football scene for years.
• 24:51
Speaker 14: This year we're kind of on a hiatus.
• 24:52
Speaker 15: There's some things going on, but this is the first
• 24:54
Speaker 15: year we've we've missed in quite a while. And then
• 24:57
Speaker 15: also the podcast that I do with with Carl and
• 24:59
Speaker 15: Hollis and Joy. So I'm very sports oriented. I was
• 25:03
Speaker 15: at the Marshall game this past week. We'll heard go heard.
• 25:05
Speaker 15: I mean, it was a big win for market.
• 25:07
Speaker 14: It was so awesome.
• 25:08
Speaker 3: It was a big one.
• 25:09
Speaker 14: Under collapse everywhere, right, it was awesome.
• 25:11
Speaker 3: Homecomings this week too.
• 25:12
Speaker 15: Homecoming is this week and we get to Morgantown as well.
• 25:14
Speaker 15: I love both schools, so I'm a fan of both.
• 25:17
  Speaker 8: All right.
• 25:17

• 25:23
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 25:24
Speaker 6: If there are, and I'm sure that there, I don't,
• 25:26
Speaker 6: I mean, I don't know that there will be. But
• 25:28
Speaker 6: if there are, you meet the candidate's forums and things
• 25:30
Speaker 6: of that nature. It's something you're willing to take part in,
• 25:32
Speaker 6: to take questions and that sort of thing, debates or
• 25:34
  Speaker 6: discussions or whatever.
• 25:36
Speaker 15: Absolutely, anybody out there, reach out to my Facebook page,
• 25:38

• 25:49
Speaker 14: I'm open to that.
• 25:50
  Speaker 3: All right, Lisa.
• 25:51
Speaker 6: As I do with every political person that comes on
• 25:54
Speaker 6: the show or everybody that's running for office, I do
• 25:56
Speaker 6: a thing called the final thirty when I asked them,
• 25:58
Speaker 6: and it's not on the clock because.
• 26:00
Speaker 3: I'm not good at math, Ryan, so let them do
• 26:02
  Speaker 3: this to me.
• 26:02
Speaker 6: So now it's everybody. Everybody does it. It's just basically
• 26:06
Speaker 6: your final thirty seconds. Why should somebody consider next year
• 26:09
Speaker 6: voting for Lisa Odie for Canawh County Board of Education.
• 26:12
Speaker 15: Okay, well, I'm just going to reiterate some of the
• 26:14
Speaker 15: points that I made earlier, and that is the fact
• 26:16
Speaker 15: that I come from you know, all these experiences that
• 26:20
Speaker 15: you know working with kannall County schools. I'm familiar with,
• 26:23
Speaker 15: you know, the whole county, all the schools. I also
• 26:27
Speaker 15: have this this background in you know, media that will
• 26:31
Speaker 15: help when we have like different I don't know press
• 26:34
Speaker 15: conferences or anything like that. I'm able to participate in
• 26:36
Speaker 15: that also have different ideas. You know, we've got things
• 26:39
Speaker 15: going on in education with consolidation with you know, you know,
• 26:43
  Speaker 15: private schools.
• 26:44
  Speaker 14: Hope scholarships.
• 26:45
Speaker 15: I want to take into consideration every single family, every
• 26:49
Speaker 15: single student, and every single teacher, teacher and staff member
• 26:52
Speaker 15: in Kanall County schools before we make big decisions on
• 26:55
Speaker 15: anything that we can control.
• 26:57
Speaker 3: All right, Lisa, appreciate you being here.

• 31:35
Speaker 6: How you doing, man, Today's the day to be happy
• 31:38
Speaker 6: it is. You're looking well, man. Look at you kind
• 31:42
Speaker 6: of dapper. He had a court case or something to do.
• 31:44
Speaker 18: I'm going, are you yeah? And one of the things
• 31:50
Speaker 18: I'd like to say, I'll say it here. You noticed
• 31:56
Speaker 18: when this thing started getting close the appearance of Jared Kushner.
• 32:02
Speaker 18: Jered Kushner is the President's son in law, Ivanka's husband,
• 32:09
Speaker 18: and he is one sharp cookie. And he put the
• 32:13
Speaker 18: Abraham Accords together. He was the one that got u
• 32:17
Speaker 18: Ae Bahrain and Morocco will put out Sudan didn't work
• 32:24
Speaker 18: to recognize Israel. And he is a gifted, gifted Orthodox Jew.
• 32:36
Speaker 18: He's not reformed, he's not a Citic and he is
• 32:41
Speaker 18: a gifted guy. And I knew when I saw him there,
• 32:47
Speaker 18: when all of a sudden I saw his appearance, when
• 32:50
Speaker 18: I saw him in the mix, I knew something was
• 32:53
Speaker 18: coming up. That's how talented that guy is.
• 32:57
Speaker 6: And of course, as we speak, the President has been
• 33:00
Speaker 6: in the has been over there, and I think, Yah, Netting, Yeah,
• 33:07
Speaker 6: who said said something? And I'm very much paraphrasing that
• 33:10
Speaker 6: Israel has never had a friend as far as a
• 33:13
Speaker 6: president like like Donald Trump.
• 33:15
Speaker 18: I saw that part and then I got I got
• 33:18
Speaker 18: I work out between five and six, and I get
• 33:21
  Speaker 18: back in bed.
• 33:22
  Speaker 5: Now I've got a I've got a.
• 33:24
Speaker 18: Phone on my on my screen, so I get in
• 33:28
Speaker 18: bed and I tilt the things so I can watch it.
• 33:32
Speaker 18: And net and Yaho's speaking and he's getting ready to
• 33:34
  Speaker 18: introduce Trump.
• 33:36
Speaker 3: And he fell asleep.
• 33:37
Speaker 18: I fell asleep, and I wanted to hear what the
• 33:39
  Speaker 18: president did say.
• 33:41
Speaker 6: So most people, and I was listening to some experts
• 33:45
Speaker 6: on this subject, Danny, when I was driving in this morning.
• 33:47
Speaker 6: The morning is most people think that yes, we have
• 33:51
Speaker 6: the ceasefire, Yes the hostages have been have been released,
• 33:55
Speaker 6: but there there are little most people that are experts
• 33:58
Speaker 6: in this part of the world are still a little
• 34:00
  Speaker 6: and started about.
• 34:00
  Speaker 8: To cease fire.
• 34:01
Speaker 3: That that that it.
• 34:02
Speaker 6: I mean, there's gonna be those that are gonna go
• 34:04
Speaker 6: along with them, But just like with anything else, you
• 34:05
  Speaker 6: can't control everyone.
• 34:08
Speaker 18: There are people that are involved in this and one
• 34:10
Speaker 18: I'll give you one that's urdle one in Turkey. He
• 34:14
Speaker 18: hates Israel and he was part of the peacemaking process,
• 34:19
Speaker 18: but he has he has supplied the p l O
• 34:23
Speaker 18: with arsenal to do damage to Israel.
• 34:27
Speaker 5: He's no friend of Israel.
• 34:29
Speaker 18: And but I think, I think, I think the biggest
• 34:35
Speaker 18: loser in all this is Iran. And just started when
• 34:41
Speaker 18: when they killed Sulamani, remember started that, and then just
• 34:48
Speaker 18: a few months ago they bombed the UH the nuclear
• 34:54
Speaker 18: little yeah, And I believe that they thought this guy
• 34:59
Speaker 18: really is it's crazy, and.
• 35:03
  Speaker 5: So they buckled.
• 35:06
Speaker 3: How big of a win is this for Donald Trump?
• 35:08
Speaker 18: And big, real big, But nothing's going to be big
• 35:14
Speaker 18: if he didn't get the government open, right, I mean,
• 35:16
Speaker 18: because I'm on so surety and also give a disability check.
• 35:22
Speaker 18: It's not much but from the from the VA. And
• 35:26
Speaker 18: if all of a sudden, oh let's start shutting down,
• 35:28
Speaker 18: people are going to start blinking.
• 35:30
Speaker 6: Well, he said that he's figured out a way to
• 35:33
Speaker 6: fund the military because they're they're due to be paid
• 35:36
Speaker 6: on Wednesday. I guess, so he would have to. I
• 35:40
Speaker 6: guess get that in today's a holiday, So I'm presuming
• 35:43
Speaker 6: that on Tuesday, I mean, they get they got to
• 35:46
Speaker 6: work this thing out. But if they're going to get
• 35:47
Speaker 6: it worked out, that's not good enough. Whose fault is it,
• 35:52
  Speaker 6: in your opinion?
• 35:53
  Speaker 5: All the Democrats?
• 35:55
Speaker 6: So what he called the governor Governor Morris why referred
• 35:57
Speaker 6: to it as the Schumer shut down.
• 35:58
Speaker 18: Well, they could vote for it. There's some stuff in
• 36:02
Speaker 18: there they don't like. Now they have an option. The
• 36:07
Speaker 18: Republicans have an option. They could you do what the
• 36:11
Speaker 18: Democrats did on the judicial picks and just do a
• 36:17
Speaker 18: you know, use a nuclear option.
• 36:19
Speaker 6: But you're you're solely placing blame on this on the Democrats.
• 36:23
  Speaker 5: I think so.
• 36:27
Speaker 18: I think it's the fact that we don't have people
• 36:30
Speaker 18: like Joe there. Of course, we've got Jim Big Jim.
• 36:33
Speaker 18: He's there, so he's with us, he's with opening up
• 36:37
Speaker 18: the government. But out in Arizona we lost our whatever
• 36:44
Speaker 18: her name was, Christen Cinema. Those kind of You got
• 36:48
Speaker 18: a few Democrats that will vote for it, right, But
• 36:52
Speaker 18: what the Republicans have got to get him? I hate
• 36:55
Speaker 18: to sound partisan, folks, I'm not a regi Republican anymore.
• 37:00
Speaker 18: But the Republicans, the media is against him. And if
• 37:07
Speaker 18: you watch a Sunday Morning shows unless you watch Fox,
• 37:11
  Speaker 18: and I don't. I watched at ABC.
• 37:14
  Speaker 3: I watched it.
• 37:14
Speaker 6: Yesterday's pretty pretty contentious interview with Stephanopolis and the vice president.
• 37:19
Speaker 5: Oh he's so obnoxious.
• 37:22
Speaker 18: I've had dinner with them before. Really, No, when he
• 37:25
Speaker 18: was down here and I had my restaurant, you know,
• 37:27
Speaker 18: he worked on Sparrow's parking lot, and he came over
• 37:31
Speaker 18: to get a sandwich my my resferen.
• 37:33
Speaker 3: Where George Stepanopolis work parking lot. Yeah, okay, he was.
• 37:37
Speaker 18: A little guy and he came over to get a
• 37:42
Speaker 18: sandwich at my restaurant, which was where Rusty's law office is.
• 37:48
Speaker 18: So but I blame it on the Democrats. They could
• 37:53
  Speaker 18: open the government.
• 37:55
Speaker 6: That interview, and I mean, I think jd Vance yesterday
• 37:58
Speaker 6: must have been on every possible show because I'm like,
• 38:00
Speaker 6: you always watched the nine o'clock show, and then I'll
• 38:03
Speaker 6: catch Meet the Press, you know sometimes, or I'll catch
• 38:06
Speaker 6: I catch a Star Walt, you know at ten on
• 38:08
Speaker 6: News Nation, and I'll kind flip around little bit. But
• 38:11
Speaker 6: I think he was on every every possible show yesterday
• 38:14
Speaker 6: with that interview was Stepanopolis was was very very contentious.
• 38:20
  Speaker 5: I can't think.
• 38:20
  Speaker 3: I can't think of a better, a better way.
• 38:22
Speaker 5: To put it off.
• 38:23
Speaker 18: At the end, he wanted to keep talking and stepping
• 38:26
Speaker 18: up with cut him off, and he wouldn't have done
• 38:32
Speaker 18: that device President of the Harris. But I understand about
• 38:40
Speaker 18: the Medicaid and the medicare no. As a matter of fact,
• 38:44
Speaker 18: I don't understand. I need to learn more about it.
• 38:48
Speaker 18: And there's nowhere to go to get the truth about
• 38:53
Speaker 18: that's sadly, you're right, if if is it gonna eviscerate
• 38:58
Speaker 18: all that stuff. I mean, well, there's nowhere that there's
• 39:01
Speaker 18: nowhere that you can go to get the truth.
• 39:03
Speaker 6: And look, I could be discovered to be totally wrong
• 39:07
Speaker 6: twenty four hours from now. But I don't think this
• 39:08
Speaker 6: thing's ending anytime soon. I mean I could come in
• 39:11
Speaker 6: here tomorrow and start the show, go well I was wrong,
• 39:13
  Speaker 6: but I don't.
• 39:15
  Speaker 3: I don't think something.
• 39:15
Speaker 18: Well, I hope you are, but I don't think so.
• 39:18
Speaker 18: And you know, Trump's riding pretty high right now, and
• 39:24
Speaker 18: but the press is gonna bring him down. It's gonna
• 39:26
  Speaker 18: last about a It's gonna last about a day. It's
• 39:30
Speaker 18: a day or two. I was up at the gym
• 39:33
Speaker 18: the first time I had my headphones off. I was
• 39:36
Speaker 18: listening to the Fox News, and then I would look
• 39:41
Speaker 18: at CNN and look at MSNBC. They were all ice
• 39:46
Speaker 18: and yeah and the shutdown and it depends on who
• 39:51
  Speaker 18: you know.
• 39:51
Speaker 6: Yeah, and that's and it's really unfortunate because there is
• 39:55
Speaker 6: it with with the national news be it and n
• 40:00
Speaker 6: be it, Fox News whatever, there's I'm a NewsNation guy,
• 40:03
Speaker 6: and I've always I like news Nation, okay, but it
• 40:07
Speaker 6: just seems to me that there is I mean, and
• 40:10
Speaker 6: I long for the old days. I really don't remember
• 40:12
Speaker 6: Cronkite as much as what you do, but I remember
• 40:15
  Speaker 6: him being on.
• 40:17
Speaker 5: Uh he went three.
• 40:18

• 40:59
Speaker 5: How about Tim Steele?

• 41:08
Speaker 3: And I responded to the text and said that you
• 41:11
  Speaker 3: had closed.
• 41:11
Speaker 5: The restaur It's a bad subdict.
• 41:13

• 41:19
Speaker 18: going to spend five hourand all you got you?
• 41:21
  Speaker 3: I got you.
• 41:23
Speaker 6: Text says Notice how many Arab nation flags are white, red, black,
• 41:28
Speaker 6: and green. Those four colors coincidentally are the same colors
• 41:31
Speaker 6: as the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. White represents purity, peace,
• 41:35
Speaker 6: or honor, but correlates with the white horse, which symbolizes deceptive,
• 41:38
Speaker 6: piece or conquest. Red represents blood, sacrifice, and couragement, correlates
• 41:42
Speaker 6: with the red horse, which represents war. Black represents mourning
• 41:46
Speaker 6: and correlates with the black horse, which represents famine and
• 41:48
Speaker 6: economic hardship. Green represents life and land. It relates to
• 41:51
Speaker 6: the death as the pale horse, which in Greek translates
• 41:54
Speaker 6: to pale greenish color indicates disease in the cay.
• 41:57
Speaker 18: Hey, I'll tell you what I look for in that, Okay,
• 42:01
Speaker 18: Saudi Arabia to establish relations with Israel, that would be something.
• 42:07
Speaker 5: Well, I think that was.
• 42:08
Speaker 18: They were getting close until the October seventh thing. And
• 42:13
Speaker 18: like I said, Cushner's back in play. Now that got's magic.
• 42:18
  Speaker 18: I don't know him. I don't necessarily like him or
• 42:21
  Speaker 18: dislike him.
• 42:23
Speaker 6: Tex says, if Obamacare is such a good health plan,
• 42:25
Speaker 6: then why would it need additional subsidies to make it affordable.
• 42:28
Speaker 6: That's just it. Wait, let me finish. That's just it. It's
• 42:31
Speaker 6: the Unaffordable Care Act and has been a failure since
• 42:33
Speaker 6: it started. It's why Democrats are raising so much sand
• 42:36
  Speaker 6: over it.
• 42:36
Speaker 18: But it's always had subsidies. That was part of us. Yeah,
• 42:40
Speaker 18: it's always had subsidies. And that was the problem is
• 42:45
Speaker 18: it's between the unions and the Republicans. They stripped away
• 42:49
Speaker 18: the taxes that paid for it. The unions they had
• 42:54
Speaker 18: those Cadillac healthcare plans and they were supposed to chip
• 42:59
Speaker 18: in to help pay because they had such good health,
• 43:01
Speaker 18: and no, we're not doing that. So they stripped that.
• 43:05
Speaker 18: And then the Republicans, you know, the taxes that were
• 43:07
Speaker 18: paying for it, they stripped that.
• 43:09
  Speaker 3: Out of it.
• 43:11
Speaker 6: Tex says that Dave Trump's America is for sale. Muslim
• 43:14
Speaker 6: countries are taking him up on the deal. Just allowed
• 43:17
Speaker 6: Cutter to put a training facility at an air Force
• 43:20

• 43:23
Speaker 6: says the text. Cutter came to talk to me about
• 43:26
  Speaker 6: the restaurant.
• 43:27
Speaker 18: I was a mayor. They wanted to do some real
• 43:31
Speaker 18: estate stuff here and I was just about ready to
• 43:36
Speaker 18: leave office, and I was They had their lobbyists.
• 43:41

• 43:44
  Speaker 5: in there?
• 43:45
Speaker 3: Really is this going to be in the book?
• 43:47
Speaker 5: No, it didn't last that long.
• 43:49
Speaker 3: Okay, it didn't make the book.
• 43:51
Speaker 5: There's gonna be some good stuff in that book.
• 43:53
Speaker 3: Taxes. Maga says, it's okay.
• 43:56
Speaker 6: If Trump wants to confiscate guns from people he wants to,
• 43:59
  Speaker 6: ain't gonna happen.
• 44:00
Speaker 3: Cut better get off that train.
• 44:02
Speaker 6: Tex says it wasn't Trump that got the cease fire,
• 44:04
Speaker 6: it was the pressure from the public and the media
• 44:06
Speaker 6: that showed the children getting killed by thousands. Trump had
• 44:08
Speaker 6: pressure from these people. His approval hit rock bottom.

Speaker 18: he could have been governor. He was really smart, David,
• 51:47
  Speaker 18: He was really.
• 51:47
Speaker 3: Why why wasn't he?
• 51:48
Speaker 6: I mean, we know the trouble he got in, but
• 51:50
Speaker 6: that's not that's not the whole reason.
• 51:51
Speaker 5: He had a dark side.
