Rebecca Wells Phillips is an author in Asheville, North Carolina, and her published works can be found under the pen names of Boo Black and Rachel Bleu. Hating Self by Boo Black was first published in November of 2023 but has recently been revised as of March 2025. Butterfly Blossoms by Rachel Bleu was published on September 25, 2024, the day before Hurricane Helene made landfall. Due to what she and others have experienced, Rebecca started writing Hurricane Helene Resiliency After the Storm Part One in October 2024 and will publish it in August 2025.
