- 0:07Speaker 1: The plays get broken down and science gets denied the Bench.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hour two of Off the Bench Live from the Mercedes
- 0:14Speaker 1: Benz Baton Rouge Studio starts.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Now, all right, welcome back in o TV our number two.
- 0:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna give you our next team.
- 1:00Speaker 5: OTB Top twenty five.
- 1:01Speaker 4: But before I do, would you like to go over
- 1:04Speaker 4: Arkansas's defensive alignment?
- 1:06Speaker 5: They go DN D tackle D tackle D N Right.
- 1:10Speaker 4: They also go Mac and money as positions on their
- 1:14Speaker 4: official depth chart.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Sure, how good to that?
- 1:17Speaker 5: Would you like to talk about Mac and money?
- 1:20Speaker 6: Nope, sounds like another name for either a linebacker or
- 1:23Speaker 6: a safety.
- 1:25Speaker 5: So you don't want to go over Mac and money.
- 1:28Speaker 6: Sounds like something you would like bring to a recruits
- 1:30Speaker 6: house and be like, you want to play our money
- 1:31Speaker 6: position because you're so money, Like just wait to sound
- 1:34Speaker 6: cool and that. That guy and the kid and his
- 1:37Speaker 6: parents are like, all right, what does that mean? Like
- 1:39Speaker 6: what position we plan? Then they got to explained him, Oh,
- 1:41Speaker 6: it's like a linebacker. Oh it's like a safety. So no,
- 1:47Speaker 6: sounds like I mean, it sounds dumb.
- 1:49Speaker 5: I just wonder mac and money, so.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Like I'd like to see all right, coach, that sounds great.
- 1:55Speaker 6: What's a mac and money? Oh, it's it's a linebacker.
- 1:58Speaker 6: They're outside linebacker. We're gonna ask him to do uh
- 2:02Speaker 6: steth and pass coverage. Okay, sounds like a line ticker.
- 2:08Speaker 5: All right, he's getting all fired up again. All right.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Here is the OTB top twenty five. A little quick
- 2:14Speaker 4: recap before we get to the number fourteen team at
- 2:18Speaker 4: twenty five, the Boise State Broncos at twenty four, the
- 2:21Speaker 4: Memphis Tigers at twenty three, the Baylor Bears at twenty two,
- 2:25Speaker 4: the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets at twenty one, the Tennessee Balls
- 2:29Speaker 4: at twenty, the Iowa State Cyclones at nineteen, the Texas
- 2:32Speaker 4: eight and four Aggie's at number eighteen, the Indiana Hoosiers
- 2:35Speaker 4: at seventeen, the Ole miss Rebels at sixteen, the Florida Gators,
- 2:39Speaker 4: and at fifteen the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and coming
- 2:42Speaker 4: in at number fourteen on your list, the SMU.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Mustag keep it in Texas they make a playoff run
- 2:52Speaker 5: a year ago.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Double digit win seasons I believe, eleven win seasons and
- 2:57Speaker 4: back to back years. You look at what they have
- 3:01Speaker 4: coming back. The most important position and that is the
- 3:04Speaker 4: quarterback position. Kevin Jennings comes back. Red shirt junior Tyler
- 3:10Speaker 4: Van Dykes also on this roster, so a nice kind
- 3:12Speaker 4: of backup just in case scenario. Gots played a lot
- 3:16Speaker 4: of football in a lot of different places.
- 3:18Speaker 5: They lose some guys to Sunday.
- 3:20Speaker 4: We know that they lose their defensive tackles to the NFL,
- 3:24Speaker 4: but they brought in eight players through the portal on offense.
- 3:27Speaker 5: They brought in eleven players, I believe.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Through the portal on defense, including five defensive tackles. So
- 3:35Speaker 4: they lost a lot to the draft, but they bring
- 3:37Speaker 4: in five guys with a lot of experience. They bring
- 3:39Speaker 4: in multiple edge players as well, really trying to shore
- 3:42Speaker 4: up the defensive front. They've got a tight end that
- 3:47Speaker 4: if healthy in RJ. Maryland, that could be one of
- 3:50Speaker 4: the best in the country. His dad, If you're a
- 3:53Speaker 4: Cowboys fan, Russell Maryland, Okay, yeah, you remember that one.
- 3:56Speaker 4: There you go, Tatay, that one's for you. Flenn you
- 3:58Speaker 4: might remember that one. Probably a Cowboys fan at the time.
- 4:01Speaker 4: So defensive tackling Miami.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Miami.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Nactually a couple of years ago, Coacho said he's one
- 4:09Speaker 7: of the best players he ever coach.
- 4:10Speaker 6: That's right, Well, what eight like this is Catholics versus
- 4:13Speaker 6: Convict's like Miami.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Yeah, like around that time. Yeah, yeah, he was. He
- 4:17Speaker 5: was in of those nineties Cowboys's first in Miami.
- 4:21Speaker 4: So Ardie Briam is certainly somebody if he can stay healthy,
- 4:24Speaker 4: to pay attention to. I think as you did a
- 4:26Speaker 4: really nice job in the portal. I think Rhet Lashly
- 4:29Speaker 4: is somebody that has felt disrespected this all season. If
- 4:32Speaker 4: you've heard him talk at all, he's kind of talked
- 4:35Speaker 4: about where they're at as a program, and we could
- 4:38Speaker 4: get to their ACC schedule. Look, their toughest games in
- 4:42Speaker 4: the ACC are going to be at Clemson, Miami at home,
- 4:45Speaker 4: Louisville at home.
- 4:47Speaker 5: But I don't think they're going to be defined by that.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I think they're going to be defined by two non
- 4:52Speaker 4: conference games in the state of Texas.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Game number two they host the Baylor Bears.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Game umber four they play for the Iron Skillet against
- 5:04Speaker 4: TCU on the road, So they'll get on a bus,
- 5:07Speaker 4: they'll drive a couple of minutes go play TCU, a rivalry.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Game one that means a lot.
- 5:13Speaker 4: But I think there are seasons defined by those two games,
- 5:16Speaker 4: because even if you go, let's say you split between
- 5:19Speaker 4: Clemson and Miami, you win one of those.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Games, you're great. You're in a good spot.
- 5:23Speaker 4: If you took care of business against Baylor and TCU.
- 5:28Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I'm looking at their I'm looking at their
- 5:32Speaker 6: schedule right now. So yeah, they they're their biggest test
- 5:37Speaker 6: home versus Baylor.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Neutral rivalry. Where does that? Where does that game get played?
- 5:41Speaker 6: Iron Skillet, It's a it'll be on campus at TCU.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Okay, because it says a neutral matchup.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Now it's gonna be a Carter Stadium, all right?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Worth Yeah, I like to pick obviously kind of the.
- 5:55Speaker 6: I guess the unsurprising surprise of last year was how
- 5:58Speaker 6: good they were. But of course, like SMU has an
- 6:01Speaker 6: endless amount of funds to spend in this new nil world,
- 6:05Speaker 6: they've already proven that they're really good at it from
- 6:07Speaker 6: back in.
- 6:08Speaker 4: The eighties was early nineties, eighties, they set the standard.
- 6:12Speaker 2: They set the standard.
- 6:13Speaker 6: I would I'd say we go back and give them
- 6:15Speaker 6: those championships because now that it's legal, but they.
- 6:18Speaker 2: They've proven to be good at it.
- 6:19Speaker 6: They got a lot of money over there, so it's
- 6:20Speaker 6: no surprise that they are bringing in and have depth.
- 6:24Speaker 8: Uh.
- 6:24Speaker 6: The big concern for me after like watching them last year,
- 6:27Speaker 6: watching them in the playoff versus Benn State, Yep, their
- 6:31Speaker 6: quarterback did.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Not play well at all.
- 6:33Speaker 6: He played well all season and he was dynamic against
- 6:37Speaker 6: weak opponent if.
- 6:38Speaker 4: He converse that first fourth down man, But he played
- 6:41Speaker 4: good in the a SEC championship game it's Clemson, yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 4: but in.
- 6:44Speaker 5: The playoff game, You're right, like he had moments and what.
- 6:47Speaker 6: Happened was like he probably learned a lot because he
- 6:50Speaker 6: had some bad plays happen and then if you could
- 6:53Speaker 6: tell it just he started pressing and started aiming the ball,
- 6:56Speaker 6: stopped going through his reads, things like that. So I
- 6:58Speaker 6: think a lot to learn from But he they stayed
- 7:02Speaker 6: in that game. But like, yeah, he was kind of
- 7:05Speaker 6: the reason that of the downfall from that game. And
- 7:07Speaker 6: I don't want to put it all on his shoulders,
- 7:09Speaker 6: of course, but like he just didn't play like he
- 7:10Speaker 6: had all years. So if he can learn from that
- 7:13Speaker 6: and the next time that happens against the quality opponent,
- 7:16Speaker 6: be able to like kind of dig back. Think about
- 7:18Speaker 6: that and his mental reflection on what happened there, because
- 7:21Speaker 6: it's it's all mental, it's all between the years at
- 7:23Speaker 6: that point, it's not physical. That would be my one
- 7:26Speaker 6: concern spot just from watching them for this team. But
- 7:30Speaker 6: I like the ranking. I like him fourteen. We got
- 7:34Speaker 6: a lot of people from the lone Star state right
- 7:36Speaker 6: now and.
- 7:37Speaker 2: More to come.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, there's gonna be So there's gonna be some
- 7:41Speaker 4: teams when you do this exercise and it happens, there's
- 7:44Speaker 4: gonna be some teams that are going to get left
- 7:46Speaker 4: out of your top twenty five and whenever Taye puts
- 7:49Speaker 4: out the graphic, there's gonna be some people mad just.
- 7:55Speaker 9: Going to be left out of Michigan's going to be
- 7:57Speaker 9: left out.
- 7:57Speaker 5: I got they shock him Prett a big comperence. Are
- 8:00Speaker 5: going to be left though, Yeah, I think they should
- 8:02Speaker 5: be unless you pick them. I'm not Pam.
- 8:06Speaker 9: They got some new quarterback.
- 8:09Speaker 5: We were talking about it on off campus.
- 8:11Speaker 4: I don't EJ and I we were talking Top twenty
- 8:13Speaker 4: five and that was a team where like, I don't know,
- 8:16Speaker 4: I don't I don't know that they right now, I
- 8:18Speaker 4: don't know that they belong.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Are they Memphis better than them?
- 8:24Speaker 7: Memphis has a little bit more improven at quarterback, and honestly,
- 8:28Speaker 7: Silverfield's a really good coach.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Also, like the rat they lost Johnson, they lost Mullings,
- 8:35Speaker 4: they lost like all the players that were kind of
- 8:39Speaker 4: left over from that national Edward, so both running backs.
- 8:44Speaker 6: So the exercise to me, in a preseason ranking is
- 8:46Speaker 6: not trying to like pick who would win in like a.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Head to head matchup between teams.
- 8:50Speaker 6: Is trying to pick up based on schedule and where,
- 8:53Speaker 6: like the conference and all and the things that could happen.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Is trying to like predict what it's going to look
- 8:58Speaker 6: like at the end of the season. Yeah, not necessarily
- 9:01Speaker 6: on day one, who's gonna win Boise State in Michigan
- 9:05Speaker 6: if they lined up against each other, but based on
- 9:08Speaker 6: what could possibly happen. There's a lot of different ways
- 9:10Speaker 6: to do this exercise. One could be just like, let's
- 9:13Speaker 6: look at the lineup, let's look at the eyeball task
- 9:15Speaker 6: what we think could happen. Or you try to predict
- 9:18Speaker 6: what the end of the season, the twenty five would
- 9:20Speaker 6: look like. And I like to I like trying to
- 9:22Speaker 6: guess the end of the season ranking.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Yeah, that's my theory.
- 9:27Speaker 9: So do you think Michigan should be in the top
- 9:29Speaker 9: twenty five.
- 9:30Speaker 6: I have no idea. I take it day by day. People,
- 9:34Speaker 6: we're day by day. I told you I get here
- 9:35Speaker 6: at six thirty. That's my twenty twenty five minutes to
- 9:38Speaker 6: really track down.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Fair.
- 9:42Speaker 4: It's better than most some say it is so so
- 9:46Speaker 4: anybody opposed SMU, anybody who want to, you know, play
- 9:50Speaker 4: Devil's advocate here.
- 9:51Speaker 7: I think this is right where they should be, especially
- 9:53Speaker 7: with Kevin Jennings coming back.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Like it's tough for me to say this.
- 9:57Speaker 7: I thought they were a little too quick on the
- 10:00Speaker 7: trigger with Preston Stone last year, pulling him like get
- 10:02Speaker 7: five touchdowns one pick when they pulled in. But that
- 10:05Speaker 7: showed kind of the confidence they had in Kevin Jennings.
- 10:08Speaker 7: He's coming back for another year. You're still gonna have
- 10:10Speaker 7: decent weapons with you, Like you lose Bouchard Smith running back,
- 10:14Speaker 7: which is a big part of your offense. But they
- 10:16Speaker 7: got the money to replace it, as Matt Flynn has
- 10:18Speaker 7: mentioned that oil money, so I think they'll be.
- 10:21Speaker 5: That old Dallas money.
- 10:22Speaker 6: And in the chat Bilbo mentions like they have endless
- 10:24Speaker 6: money air quotes and they have Kevin Jennings at quarterback,
- 10:27Speaker 6: which probably speaks to what they actually think about him,
- 10:31Speaker 6: because they could have gone and that's that's not somebody.
- 10:35Speaker 7: Like Preston Stone was a multi year starter at that program,
- 10:39Speaker 7: named team captain before the season. They pulled him after
- 10:42Speaker 7: four games because they felt that confident about Kevin Jennings.
- 10:44Speaker 2: In Hell, they made a run.
- 10:45Speaker 4: At the playoff, made the playoff, almost won the ACC
- 10:50Speaker 4: in their first year in the.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Conference, almost beat the Pittsburgh Steelers of college football.
- 10:58Speaker 5: So we laid out yesterday it's fact actual.
- 11:02Speaker 9: So when we were predicting, you asked the other day
- 11:05Speaker 9: who in the top nine wouldn't make it at the
- 11:09Speaker 9: end of the season, in the top twenty five. I
- 11:12Speaker 9: wanted to say Penn State, But I think that they'll
- 11:14Speaker 9: end up.
- 11:15Speaker 5: In the top twenty five.
- 11:16Speaker 9: I just think that it's going to be way lower
- 11:19Speaker 9: than number two.
- 11:20Speaker 6: Well, there's gonna be a point of the season where
- 11:22Speaker 6: they're gonna be like, are they number one? Yeah, they're
- 11:24Speaker 6: going to make a run of this thing, and then
- 11:26Speaker 6: they'll finish it at the end of the year.
- 11:27Speaker 7: They'll finishing another disappointing finish games. They'll finish eleven, another one.
- 11:32Speaker 7: This isn't a disappointing finish. If this is what they
- 11:34Speaker 7: do every year, Yeah, that's the.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Definition of insanity. Yes, that's Penn State.
- 11:40Speaker 4: So yesterday we had a guest on my afternoon show
- 11:44Speaker 4: and they were like talking Pen State, talking state talk,
- 11:46Speaker 4: and finally I stopped them. I said, my guy, there's
- 11:51Speaker 4: five people currently on this call right now, on this
- 11:54Speaker 4: radio show, on this zoom connected in. I said, of
- 11:58Speaker 4: the five, two of us were born the last time
- 12:02Speaker 4: Penn State won a national championship. I was won and
- 12:05Speaker 4: Bobby was three. We're old, we lived, you know, we've lived,
- 12:11Speaker 4: do a couple of things. We're over our Mike Gundy age, like,
- 12:14Speaker 4: you keep talking about Penn State, Penn State, Penn State
- 12:16Speaker 4: and what they've done and who they are.
- 12:18Speaker 5: That's great.
- 12:20Speaker 4: I'm forty years old and I was won the last
- 12:22Speaker 4: time they won a national championship.
- 12:25Speaker 2: But they got a great culture and they're respectable and
- 12:27Speaker 2: good every year. They're just a little bit away from
- 12:31Speaker 2: being great.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Fan show up good to them.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Whiteout's great because the everybody buys into it, and rightfully
- 12:37Speaker 6: so they everybody buys into the hype train that they
- 12:41Speaker 6: could really make a run because they're talented, they're good.
- 12:44Speaker 6: They're well coached, they got good culture. They win a
- 12:47Speaker 6: lot of games, that's never the one that matters.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Kind of like as we beat us and you though
- 12:54Speaker 2: you did.
- 12:55Speaker 5: They almost beating their dame. They just completed this past two.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Is that close all they needed?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Which is going to be a struggle again this year.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Jake Oh, the Pittsburgh Seelers almost won their first round
- 13:07Speaker 6: playoff game last five years. They're well coached, the good culture, respectable,
- 13:16Speaker 6: they do have that. I mean I think, yeah, I
- 13:19Speaker 6: just I said the exact same thing.
- 13:21Speaker 5: I got that too. Yeah, all right.
- 13:23Speaker 6: They got a star position they don't or a money
- 13:27Speaker 6: and a mic or whatever it is.
- 13:29Speaker 2: What was it money in a.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Mac mac mac? Okay? Should we see? Should we see
- 13:34Speaker 5: if Penn State? How do you think they label it?
- 13:37Speaker 5: If you had to guess before I pull it up?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Penn State?
- 13:39Speaker 5: I bet I bet it?
- 13:40Speaker 6: Okay, wait for it, Sam, Mike Will.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Or oh oh.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Uh their base defense looks like it is.
- 13:53Speaker 8: Uh.
- 13:54Speaker 5: A mic linebacker, a Will linebacker, and a nickel. Nickels
- 13:58Speaker 5: are base that they live.
- 14:00Speaker 6: How many college football like you're most people are playing
- 14:03Speaker 6: majority nickel?
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:06Speaker 4: All right, well, speaking of personnels, hello, I'm gonna give
- 14:09Speaker 4: you Clemson's main offensive personnel, what they live in, what
- 14:14Speaker 4: their favorite runs are. Because remember you've got quarterback coordinator
- 14:18Speaker 4: coming back, receivers coming back, so you're going to basically
- 14:23Speaker 4: be that same team again, running backs different, but the
- 14:27Speaker 4: running backs kind of the same mold of a film office.
- 14:29Speaker 5: So we'll break that down.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Where does Clemson live, what personnels, what's their favorite runs?
- 14:34Speaker 5: When we come back here on O TV.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Mopter bench, all right, go to get Gordon dot com,

- 16:19Speaker 5: When you eat so many shrimp you got out that
- 16:21Speaker 5: boyson like.
- 16:21Speaker 4: That's mercury, a lot of mercury.
- 16:28Speaker 9: Do you even swish your house?
- 16:31Speaker 2: No way you switched her house?
- 16:32Speaker 5: No way, no way, no chance you do, no chance.
- 16:38Speaker 2: From the dirty third you've got.
- 16:44Speaker 9: Do you even project Pat that one.
- 16:50Speaker 4: All right, jolly boy, before y'all get to Texas in here,
- 16:55Speaker 4: let's talk Clemson offensive personnel.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Where do you think they live in? What personnel? Sir?
- 17:03Speaker 2: Offensive personnel?
- 17:03Speaker 5: I mean offensive personnel?
- 17:07Speaker 2: My guess would be eleven eighty.
- 17:09Speaker 4: One point three percent of the time Clemson is in
- 17:13Speaker 4: eleven personnel twelve personnel, so two tight ends fourteen point
- 17:18Speaker 4: four percent.
- 17:20Speaker 5: They are in only five percent left zero one.
- 17:26Speaker 4: And some you know, some people called it different. It's
- 17:30Speaker 4: more like the way football should should be played.
- 17:34Speaker 6: All right, what zero one person zero one?
- 17:40Speaker 2: I'd rather go ten.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Gross thirteen personnel, like less than one percent, pony personnel
- 17:50Speaker 4: less than one percent, twenty two less than one percent.
- 17:53Speaker 5: So that's what I call twenty personnel.
- 17:56Speaker 4: So two backs through seris no tight ends. My rookie year,
- 18:03Speaker 4: we head that in and I'm like, hey, North, my guy,
- 18:09Speaker 4: we work on this a lot. He's like, yeah, do
- 18:13Speaker 4: we think we're ever gonna run this in a game?
- 18:15Speaker 5: He's like, what do you mean? I said, coach, that
- 18:17Speaker 5: means gates coming off the field. The anna run this
- 18:23Speaker 5: a whole lot?
- 18:24Speaker 2: Didn't quite.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I mean, you know, I get the thought process behind it,
- 18:28Speaker 4: but uh yeah, we're not taking gates on the field.
- 18:30Speaker 5: You know that.
- 18:31Speaker 4: I know that, we all know that. So uh but yeah, there,
- 18:34Speaker 4: Look they're eleven personnel team. You're gonna see him out there.
- 18:36Speaker 4: It's gonna be a tight end. You're gonna have one back,
- 18:38Speaker 4: you're gonna have three receivers. That's where a lot of
- 18:40Speaker 4: college football is going. But uh, you know, eighty one
- 18:43Speaker 4: point three percent is a little bit more than that thought.
- 18:45Speaker 4: I thought they'd be in twelve percent, a little bit more. Uh,
- 18:48Speaker 4: then you start taking a look at you know, maybe
- 18:50Speaker 4: some of their favorite runs, and it's gonna be inside
- 18:53Speaker 4: zone for a lot of people across the country. That's
- 18:56Speaker 4: gonna be like, you know, their favorite rush and it
- 18:58Speaker 4: is for them, but really close behind that is counter.
- 19:04Speaker 4: So they ran one hundred and fifty one inside zones,
- 19:07Speaker 4: which is like just your basic LSU fans, you know it.
- 19:09Speaker 4: We else what they ran last year a ton of
- 19:12Speaker 4: And if you have a mobile quarterback, I love it.
- 19:15Speaker 4: I love inside zone if you have the ability for
- 19:18Speaker 4: the quarterback to pull it, read the defensive end and
- 19:22Speaker 4: make some yards.
- 19:23Speaker 5: If you're not gonna pull it, why run it.
- 19:25Speaker 4: We talked about that with Garrett Nsmeier but for Clemson,
- 19:28Speaker 4: obviously having k Klubnick, that makes a lot of sense.
- 19:31Speaker 4: So one hundred and fifty one inside zones, one hundred
- 19:35Speaker 4: and fourteen times they ran counter. So eleven personnel team
- 19:41Speaker 4: one hundred and fourteen times they ran counter. You can
- 19:44Speaker 4: run counter out of eleven Tennessee does it a lot? Now,
- 19:46Speaker 4: you got to have a tight end as a dog,
- 19:49Speaker 4: and you got to have a receiver that's willing to
- 19:51Speaker 4: do some dirty work. You can get it done. But
- 19:54Speaker 4: I was shocked when I saw one hundred and fourteen times.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a big number for a counter plagues. The
- 20:00Speaker 6: encounter is meant to be kind of a change of base.
- 20:02Speaker 6: Change base, mister alia, change up if you will.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's the secondary gap scheme run. It's usually
- 20:07Speaker 4: power the encounter.
- 20:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I would like to think that a decent amount
- 20:13Speaker 6: of those would probably quarterback counters. They're probably not running
- 20:16Speaker 6: probably not running quarterback like power. They probably don't want
- 20:18Speaker 6: to run them up in the eighth they.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Ran they ran power eighteen times.
- 20:21Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean give them an opportunity for with the
- 20:23Speaker 6: counter to kind of hit it a little bit further outside,
- 20:25Speaker 6: give them a little bit try to get them a
- 20:27Speaker 6: little bit more grass around so you can safely get
- 20:29Speaker 6: down and like having to put his head down into
- 20:31Speaker 6: a quarterback power.
- 20:32Speaker 4: And so when we're talking about quarterback counter, you're going
- 20:34Speaker 4: to hear the term Q counter.
- 20:35Speaker 5: That's just quarterback so Q counter and.
- 20:38Speaker 4: How can you run that out of eleven personnel because
- 20:40Speaker 4: you need another puller well then your back because you
- 20:43Speaker 4: get an extra blocker because it's the quarterback that's running.
- 20:45Speaker 5: So as a running back, you've got to be really good.
- 20:48Speaker 4: And that's why I always kind of liked having somebody
- 20:52Speaker 4: had some fullback experience in that position because you're used
- 20:55Speaker 4: to being the second pullar in a counter, but the
- 20:57Speaker 4: running back has to be a part of it. Now
- 20:59Speaker 4: you can get to a different ways, but your running
- 21:02Speaker 4: back's got to be a willing blocker.
- 21:04Speaker 5: He's got to be able to read it.
- 21:05Speaker 4: And if you're running Q power, which again i'm our
- 21:08Speaker 4: Q counter, I'm like you, like, of those one hundred
- 21:10Speaker 4: and fourteen, how many were probably the quarterback?
- 21:12Speaker 5: I would say a bulk of it.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 6: Then, like the counter is always a trick you played
- 21:16Speaker 6: at from a mechanic standpoint too. In the mesh points standpoint,
- 21:20Speaker 6: it's really tough to try to time up with the
- 21:22Speaker 6: running back because a lot of times it's the same
- 21:24Speaker 6: side counter and it kind of looks weird. They got
- 21:26Speaker 6: to like scoot over there. Yeah, it's the worst, but
- 21:29Speaker 6: you can get to it different ways. You can you
- 21:31Speaker 6: can run different variations of counter with eleven personnel to
- 21:36Speaker 6: the running back. Like you said, you gotta have another
- 21:38Speaker 6: another puller. You can cut off backside with a with
- 21:42Speaker 6: a wide receive receiver.
- 21:44Speaker 4: The receiver's got to be good at it's good, be
- 21:47Speaker 4: willing to do it.
- 21:47Speaker 6: And he's just got to hold the block for like
- 21:49Speaker 6: one second, right, it's not it's not a big one.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Just got to hold it for a second.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Because there is so much action, like you're saying, like
- 21:54Speaker 4: it takes a little. Even the quarterback when he's running
- 21:56Speaker 4: a counter, he'll catch it. He'll do like either a
- 21:59Speaker 4: drop staff or'll do like a slide.
- 22:01Speaker 5: And then because it.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Does have to time up, so the receiver's got to
- 22:03Speaker 4: get in the way for like.
- 22:04Speaker 6: A and like explain it, like so a power is
- 22:07Speaker 6: more of an a gap B gap running play where
- 22:09Speaker 6: the guard's pulling. The guard's pulling every time, ye, and
- 22:12Speaker 6: so that's in the guard and so the running back
- 22:14Speaker 6: is supposed to follow the guard and then make his cut.
- 22:17Speaker 6: The counter is usually two people pulling a tackle and
- 22:20Speaker 6: a guard sometimes depending on the front, so they can
- 22:23Speaker 6: they can also kind of change it up to where
- 22:25Speaker 6: guard back exactly or the guard stays in and the
- 22:29Speaker 6: and the center and the tackle pull like so it's
- 22:31Speaker 6: a combination of two people pulling and basically washing down
- 22:35Speaker 6: one side and pulling two people, and it kind of
- 22:37Speaker 6: usually hits more B C gap rather than A or
- 22:40Speaker 6: B gap. So to that point is what was saying, like,
- 22:43Speaker 6: you would rather run a quarterback in the BC gap
- 22:46Speaker 6: rather than the A B gap because there's less congestion,
- 22:49Speaker 6: less there's more of an opportunity for it to either
- 22:52Speaker 6: bounce or have a little bit more green grass, a
- 22:55Speaker 6: wider hole to get it like to safely get down
- 22:59Speaker 6: after you run, or not to take like a direct
- 23:01Speaker 6: my head on shot you kind of getting hit at
- 23:03Speaker 6: an angle or a side.
- 23:04Speaker 5: So a little bit more. We talked a little bit
- 23:05Speaker 5: about this last year.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Last football season, I was doing the broadcast doing the call,
- 23:10Speaker 4: and you know, I talked about A gaps and B
- 23:12Speaker 4: gaps a lot, and so I tried like to come
- 23:14Speaker 4: back on Monday and explain, like what I was talking about.
- 23:16Speaker 5: A gaps easiest.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Between the center and the guard, B gap between the
- 23:19Speaker 4: garden tackle and you just keep on going right. And
- 23:21Speaker 4: so for a power as a running back, you're taught
- 23:24Speaker 4: a gap to expand. You start then a gap unless
- 23:26Speaker 4: something forces you out and then you kind of expand
- 23:29Speaker 4: through the gaps. Now you can do it once in
- 23:33Speaker 4: a season. You can cut that thing backside, but it
- 23:35Speaker 4: gets real loud in there. Nothing is blocked to go backside.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Maybe the center gets reached right now and you cut
- 23:41Speaker 4: right off like maybe, but it is an a gap
- 23:43Speaker 4: to expand. For a counter, my aiming point is going
- 23:46Speaker 4: to be the B gap to expand. And so when
- 23:49Speaker 4: you watch Clemson that is going to be a big
- 23:51Speaker 4: part of their game and you have to be like,
- 23:54Speaker 4: gap integrity is crucial on the defensive front when you're
- 23:57Speaker 4: going against a team that wants to run counter this month.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Yeah, and to I guess further explain the play as well.
- 24:04Speaker 6: Counter is also a little slower developing and it's meant
- 24:08Speaker 6: to be like a misdirection. That's what we called a
- 24:10Speaker 6: change up. At first, if you're not a zone team,
- 24:12Speaker 6: you can't really be a counter team. So when you
- 24:15Speaker 6: see a counter, the running back is going to take
- 24:18Speaker 6: two steps. If you're running a counter right like a
- 24:21Speaker 6: so a strong side counter to the right, so he's
- 24:23Speaker 6: going to take one or two steps left. The quarterback
- 24:26Speaker 6: is going to open up like he's handed it to
- 24:27Speaker 6: the left and then it missdirections back. So you try
- 24:30Speaker 6: to get the linebackers to take one false step to
- 24:32Speaker 6: the right. Then give your linement and give your linement
- 24:35Speaker 6: and your pullers just like one little split second leverage
- 24:38Speaker 6: to out leverage him on the back.
- 24:40Speaker 4: It's kind of like that play we kind of joked
- 24:42Speaker 4: about with Clay Matthews, how we ran Power outside because
- 24:45Speaker 4: of how he showed on film study.
- 24:46Speaker 5: He just continued to crash and crash and crash. You
- 24:49Speaker 5: kind of that.
- 24:50Speaker 4: You start to the left because you want them to
- 24:52Speaker 4: take one step two steps to crash.
- 24:54Speaker 5: And then you reach block them and then you're you know.
- 24:57Speaker 2: That's why you go.
- 24:58Speaker 6: You go inside zone, inside zone, outside zone, inside zone.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Counter yep, because you get them flowing. It looks all
- 25:04Speaker 6: the same, except if the the linebackers, they're going to
- 25:07Speaker 6: read through the defensive line to the quarterback running back.
- 25:11Speaker 6: So they're watching the ball. They're watching the quarterback, but
- 25:14Speaker 6: they're trying to like visually with their peripherals look at
- 25:17Speaker 6: the linemen as well. But a lot of times they
- 25:19Speaker 6: get focused on the ball and the movement of the
- 25:21Speaker 6: running back, like which direction is going, So sometimes they
- 25:23Speaker 6: don't see those even though the right in front of
- 25:25Speaker 6: their face, they don't see a guard or tackle pulling
- 25:28Speaker 6: to the other side of the other side of the
- 25:30Speaker 6: ball because they're just watching the quarterback in their motions.
- 25:33Speaker 6: So even if it's a half step, a half step
- 25:35Speaker 6: means the world in football, especially running in.
- 25:43Speaker 5: This is this is where I was at before.
- 25:46Speaker 4: I wish we had like a clicker some tape behind
- 25:49Speaker 4: us and then you could push your car and park
- 25:51Speaker 4: and then like on your radio screen like just pull
- 25:53Speaker 4: up the show and that way you can you know,
- 25:55Speaker 4: you could see the thing.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Do not watch us. If you're driving, you can see
- 25:58Speaker 6: the things. Listen to us, but when you get stop,
- 26:05Speaker 6: don't do that.
- 26:06Speaker 5: We can so when we come back, we can like
- 26:10Speaker 5: pull up what we're talking about.
- 26:12Speaker 4: We can talk some of those Q counter runs because
- 26:16Speaker 4: again Clemson, if they don't run inside zone with the
- 26:19Speaker 4: running back, which again Kate Clemic can pull it like.
- 26:22Speaker 4: It's gonna be a big part of what they do.
- 26:24Speaker 4: And LSU just didn't fit that play well a year ago.
- 26:27Speaker 4: They just didn't did not happen. You, Like, everybody has
- 26:32Speaker 4: to be sound when you're going against a team that
- 26:34Speaker 4: does it really well, and you don't run at one
- 26:36Speaker 4: hundred and fourteen times in a season. If you don't
- 26:38Speaker 4: do it well, it's gonna be something that they have up.
- 26:41Speaker 4: It's gonna be early, it's gonna be often in this
- 26:43Speaker 4: opening game. And so the safety position, now, linebacker's crucial
- 26:48Speaker 4: as well defense being in their gap holding point all that.
- 26:51Speaker 4: But safety to me is going to be the position
- 26:54Speaker 4: that has to deal with Kate Klebnick running some of
- 26:56Speaker 4: these Q powers and also we talked about in the
- 26:58Speaker 4: passing game as well. If you have great safety play,
- 27:00Speaker 4: that's where he can kind of get in trouble a
- 27:02Speaker 4: little bit.
- 27:03Speaker 5: We'll break that down when we come back here on.
- 27:05Speaker 4: OTB off the bench, all right, go to repelicanroof dot com.
- 27:14Speaker 4: That is a website Repelican Roofing in Lafayette in Baton

- 28:39Speaker 10: slow motion for slow.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Motion for slow motion fun man slow motion for man.
- 28:46Speaker 10: Her neck and her back hurt and cut your lack
- 28:49Speaker 10: of brand new version. It's like when you can keep
- 28:51Speaker 10: stuffy thing is snow serving hop on bone top and.
- 28:55Speaker 5: All right, welcome back. Yeah, no TV one of four,
- 28:58Speaker 5: five ESPN and better.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Rouge so motion.
- 29:05Speaker 4: We were going back and we're looking at some Q
- 29:08Speaker 4: runs against L s U over the last couple of years,
- 29:11Speaker 4: and like I was, I was really hoping that I
- 29:15Speaker 4: didn't remember it correctly. And it was like you know,
- 29:17Speaker 4: some form of a power or account or like something
- 29:20Speaker 4: like really misdirection where guys.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Just overplay it.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Nope, it was just straight up like basically his own lead.
- 29:28Speaker 5: It's all it was.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so just you know, we're just better just straight.
- 29:32Speaker 5: Zone the running back leading.
- 29:34Speaker 6: Like I kind of I think God Jail Mill Road
- 29:37Speaker 6: might kind of be a little bit of an underdog
- 29:42Speaker 6: in the NFL.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Is this the cards talking or no, I don't even
- 29:45Speaker 5: have one.
- 29:45Speaker 6: I don't even have on I just feel like you
- 29:47Speaker 6: might look, we got Taylor. We were trying to find
- 29:50Speaker 6: what we were explaining with Jaylen mill Road, but we
- 29:53Speaker 6: found one with kde club Nick from the first first
- 29:56Speaker 6: game of the season Appalachian State. A. What kind of
- 30:02Speaker 6: discuss is here? What we were talking about everything? We're
- 30:05Speaker 6: gonna start with eleven personnel. We're here on the Gallt's
- 30:09Speaker 6: on the three yard line and this is so one
- 30:12Speaker 6: of the one hundred and fourteen counters that are credited
- 30:15Speaker 6: to them, and we discussed that probably a lot of
- 30:17Speaker 6: that is because of quarterback runs and he's going to
- 30:20Speaker 6: be a big emphasis his court. I think he had
- 30:22Speaker 6: two or three rushing touchdowns this game. One was his
- 30:25Speaker 6: zone read where he pulled it and made a guy
- 30:27Speaker 6: miss a little stutter.
- 30:28Speaker 5: HETA. Can you also put this on the backscreen as well? Please?
- 30:30Speaker 6: And this is just right here, a straight up called
- 30:32Speaker 6: quarterback counter before you play this. Look everything we talked
- 30:35Speaker 6: about eleven personnel, which is there in what eighty one
- 30:38Speaker 6: point something percent of the time they have a little
- 30:40Speaker 6: misdirection motion here and we got a counter. We talked
- 30:43Speaker 6: about two pullars are gonna happen, and a misdirection. So
- 30:47Speaker 6: you're gonna try to get the linebackers to move one
- 30:50Speaker 6: direction with one or two steps to one side, and
- 30:53Speaker 6: then you counter back to the other direction. So let's
- 30:56Speaker 6: go ahead and play this and see what kind of
- 30:58Speaker 6: view we got here.
- 31:00Speaker 5: You can go ahead, pause it right there, go back,
- 31:02Speaker 5: go back, go back, a little bit like a cowboy collar.
- 31:05Speaker 4: I know, I know, Gosh, we need a remote here,
- 31:07Speaker 4: so so very bad.
- 31:09Speaker 5: So we right there.
- 31:10Speaker 6: So we're faking misdirection a little bit. So we have
- 31:12Speaker 6: this guy motion and the X receiver motioning to the right,
- 31:15Speaker 6: which is causing people their eyeballs to go I suah, violation.
- 31:20Speaker 2: And then watch Caid Clubnet's footwork here.
- 31:23Speaker 6: He is going to act like he's gonna go right,
- 31:25Speaker 6: and it's all to get these linebackers to move to
- 31:29Speaker 6: the right because we're gonna run left. And oh yeah,
- 31:31Speaker 6: we got two bad dudes pulling right here. Yeah, so
- 31:35Speaker 6: you got you have your guard and your tight end.
- 31:37Speaker 6: They become the two pullers that we're talking about now. Also, right,
- 31:42Speaker 6: your running back is basically he's gonna take over for
- 31:45Speaker 6: what like the strong side tight end would be here
- 31:47Speaker 6: on this counter side as well. Right now, he's doing
- 31:50Speaker 6: it from the backfield, but he is going to go
- 31:53Speaker 6: and he is going to try to set the tone
- 31:55Speaker 6: here on the strong side. And so like just because
- 31:57Speaker 6: you don't have a tight end here over on this side,
- 32:00Speaker 6: it's not about really labeling position.
- 32:02Speaker 4: It's about labeling responsibilities. And so that's what the running
- 32:05Speaker 4: back becomes here.
- 32:06Speaker 6: The tight ends, part of the defensive end is going
- 32:08Speaker 6: to be free because their tackle is just releasing up
- 32:12Speaker 6: to the secondary or the secondary of the second window
- 32:15Speaker 6: of the defense, which would be a linebacker, safety, whoever's
- 32:17Speaker 6: there first, and the pulling tackle is just gonna punch
- 32:20Speaker 6: him right in the mouth, kick him out.
- 32:23Speaker 4: All right, you go and play it and see the
- 32:25Speaker 4: Clemson Tigers end up in the end zone here, touchdown Tigers, and.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Like it's it's that easy.
- 32:34Speaker 4: And then they got back and actually, like for the
- 32:37Speaker 4: for the running back, see the way that we used
- 32:38Speaker 4: to do it, Like he would actually go and get
- 32:40Speaker 4: that safety and it would be his assignment to block him.
- 32:43Speaker 5: They're just running him off, yeah, with like a flare.
- 32:47Speaker 6: Like they're like, you don't have to create to if
- 32:49Speaker 6: you're on the three yard line. You're not trying to
- 32:50Speaker 6: get ten yards. You're only trying to get three yards, right.
- 32:52Speaker 6: I think even the tackle on that, like the tackle,
- 32:55Speaker 6: the pulling tackle, doesn't need to make a killer block,
- 32:57Speaker 6: just things that really get in the way. And if
- 32:59Speaker 6: that unning back just free releases and takes the eyes,
- 33:02Speaker 6: yeah of that defensive back, he's done his job to
- 33:04Speaker 6: get three yards.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Right.
- 33:05Speaker 2: It's a three yard call.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Yeah, so we would end up back on that safety
- 33:10Speaker 4: right there. But any way you get it, like get
- 33:13Speaker 4: him away from the play, be it because he's following
- 33:15Speaker 4: you or because you're blocking him.
- 33:17Speaker 5: And also the jet sweep motion.
- 33:19Speaker 4: You love that little wrinkle there because it brings, like
- 33:21Speaker 4: Matt said, it brings everybody to the other side of
- 33:24Speaker 4: the formation. You got a receiver, he's kind of you're
- 33:27Speaker 4: thinking jet sweep jets. And also the tight end. Remember
- 33:30Speaker 4: the tight ends on that right side, So you're thinking
- 33:32Speaker 4: the tight ends trying to steal the edge for the
- 33:34Speaker 4: jet sweep.
- 33:35Speaker 5: And that's what the play is going to be.
- 33:37Speaker 4: And all it takes is that jet sweep and Kay
- 33:39Speaker 4: Klebnick usually does a great job of kind of, you know,
- 33:42Speaker 4: riding the jet sweep a little bit, not even on
- 33:44Speaker 4: this clip, but you'll see him ride the jet sweep
- 33:46Speaker 4: for a step too, and then he'll come back.
- 33:48Speaker 5: And that's the part of the counter that we're talking about.
- 33:50Speaker 4: And once the linebackers and all the people on the
- 33:53Speaker 4: second level start to think jet sweep and they take
- 33:56Speaker 4: that one second step that F one's talking about, then
- 33:58Speaker 4: it's too late. And that's why you have to be
- 34:01Speaker 4: discipline and whatever your assignment is, Like you can't chase
- 34:04Speaker 4: ghost back there. Like if you're on the left side
- 34:07Speaker 4: of that right, if you're on the offense, you're looking
- 34:09Speaker 4: at it, so to your left, the defense is right,
- 34:11Speaker 4: like that jet sweep does not mean anything to you.
- 34:14Speaker 4: That is for the other side of the defense. But
- 34:17Speaker 4: if you try to do too much and you take
- 34:19Speaker 4: those steps that we're talking about, that's how it's an
- 34:21Speaker 4: easy touchdown.
- 34:23Speaker 6: Yeah, And the people that can disrupt that player is
- 34:26Speaker 6: coming from the side of the pullers, Like if there's
- 34:28Speaker 6: no misdirection there, they can crash and blow that play up.
- 34:32Speaker 6: So I mean, it's all about film study and what's
- 34:33Speaker 6: interesting about Clemson and I know that the offensive coordinators
- 34:36Speaker 6: returning right, same offensive coordinator we accured. Yeah, they same
- 34:40Speaker 6: offensive so like he's an X factor for as well.
- 34:45Speaker 6: Really good, Okay, So they come back the next week
- 34:48Speaker 6: the exact same formation, exact same motion, fake the counter throw,
- 34:52Speaker 6: touchdown to the Jets, sweep guy in the flat. So
- 34:54Speaker 6: like there's things you have to like you can't just
- 34:56Speaker 6: see one thing. You have to be disciplined and every everybody,
- 34:59Speaker 6: Like if there's one guy not doing his job on defense,
- 35:03Speaker 6: that offensive coordinator is gonna find that weakness.
- 35:05Speaker 2: So there's a lot that goes into it.
- 35:08Speaker 6: And it's not just a bunch of meat heads putting
- 35:10Speaker 6: pads on, hitting each other in the face and who's
- 35:13Speaker 6: the strongest. There's a lot of eye candy out there.
- 35:15Speaker 6: There's a lot of things to look at, a lot
- 35:17Speaker 6: of misdirection and with Kate Calling's ability to throw and run,
- 35:22Speaker 6: it is a very big challenge. That's why this depth
- 35:25Speaker 6: that we're seeing at defensive back. Being able to utilize
- 35:28Speaker 6: Harold Perkins in the correct way at either linebackers safety
- 35:31Speaker 6: not star is going to be crucially important.
- 35:36Speaker 2: They're gonna get there.
- 35:37Speaker 6: So like that like that's not We're not gonna cums
- 35:40Speaker 6: is not gonna have a zero on the scoreboard. So
- 35:42Speaker 6: there it's it's all about withstanding punches right, bending it
- 35:45Speaker 6: don't break, and then of course offense after has the
- 35:48Speaker 6: comic scurse points.
- 35:49Speaker 2: So I can't wait.
- 35:54Speaker 4: We don't have a whiteboard on wheels. I see you
- 35:57Speaker 4: asking inside the Bay four chat. It's not like the
- 35:59Speaker 4: olt that used to hear coming down the hallway. Goodness,
- 36:03Speaker 4: not a bad idea. Good as studios whiteboards, it's not
- 36:05Speaker 4: a bad idea. But I will say this, So our
- 36:07Speaker 4: office we got a couple of whiteboards installed. We got
- 36:11Speaker 4: the interactive whiteboard as well, So we are going to
- 36:14Speaker 4: do like film and then we'll go over to the whiteboard.
- 36:17Speaker 5: We'll have that all filmed up.
- 36:18Speaker 4: We're getting the office painted and ready to go. So
- 36:20Speaker 4: it all looks good. Uh, that's coming. That's going to happen,
- 36:24Speaker 4: and maybe maybe quickly after today's show, maybe we can
- 36:27Speaker 4: quickly draw up just what we're talking about with the
- 36:29Speaker 4: Q calendar and kind of what the responsibilities are for.
- 36:34Speaker 5: That's also true.
- 36:35Speaker 4: I probably have one somewhere in my car from my
- 36:38Speaker 4: flag football plays.
- 36:39Speaker 5: We'll see if we have that.
- 36:41Speaker 4: But the entire like the entire point of doing this,
- 36:44Speaker 4: I think, because we started off the second segment of
- 36:46Speaker 4: the show talking about position battles and safety, and you
- 36:50Speaker 4: brought in players that have been through the fire.
- 36:52Speaker 5: They've played a lot of football.
- 36:54Speaker 4: I think the safety position in this game, number one
- 36:57Speaker 4: is the most important position on the field because of
- 37:01Speaker 4: what Clemson does.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Really well through the air and on the ground.
- 37:05Speaker 4: You can take advantage of the middle of the football
- 37:07Speaker 4: field if you have great safety play like Matt broke down,
- 37:10Speaker 4: if you have great safety play in what they want
- 37:13Speaker 4: to do with some of their Q runs, you're going
- 37:15Speaker 4: to be successful. If you don't, if you had the
- 37:17Speaker 4: eye violations like we're talking about. We pulled up a
- 37:20Speaker 4: clip during the break right and safeties were all over
- 37:24Speaker 4: the place, just not where they were supposed to be.
- 37:27Speaker 8: Uh.
- 37:27Speaker 4: When one play was Major Burns, one play with Sage Ryan,
- 37:30Speaker 4: one play with Gilbert, Like, safeties are critical against quarterback
- 37:35Speaker 4: runs and when you have somebody that does it at
- 37:37Speaker 4: as high of a level as a k club Nick,
- 37:39Speaker 4: you have to be on it or the problem is
- 37:42Speaker 4: one mistake will go sixty yards the other way.
- 37:45Speaker 5: He has that kind of ability, and if he.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Doesn't throw the football with the accuracy over the middle
- 37:51Speaker 4: of the field like he does from the hash to
- 37:53Speaker 4: the sidelines. What do you gotta do? You gotta take
- 37:55Speaker 4: advantage of it. Safety is critical against Clemson.
- 38:00Speaker 6: Oh, I heard it here first. I actually heard it
- 38:04Speaker 6: in the breakdown but a month ago.
- 38:07Speaker 9: So would you say they would benefit from having like
- 38:10Speaker 9: a safety linebacker high bred position?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:15Speaker 4: Yes, no, yes, Elandra, I believe that's called the star
- 38:19Speaker 4: the stars?
- 38:20Speaker 6: Are you talking about that fake position? I don't think
- 38:24Speaker 6: it would be beneficial for us to have a fake
- 38:25Speaker 6: position out there.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Flinden's gonna be the tepic.
- 38:28Speaker 7: I gotta be like guy's tackle didn't count, not a
- 38:30Speaker 7: real punt.
- 38:32Speaker 2: It's like a holder doesn't get credit for a good hold.
- 38:35Speaker 5: He doesn't.
- 38:38Speaker 6: I would just put a real position out there. You're
- 38:41Speaker 6: a linebacker, this might check somebody or a safety.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Mm hmm. You're gonna learn, folks, You're gonna learn.
- 38:57Speaker 4: We'll teach him better after the show is well. And also,
- 39:00Speaker 4: can we get a whiteboard hung up in the studio?
- 39:03Speaker 4: We got these panels right here. Nobody sees them.
- 39:05Speaker 9: I think they're talking about the Gulf Coast office products.
- 39:12Speaker 9: It does have to be so.
- 39:14Speaker 5: I think I think there is.
- 39:16Speaker 9: A plug back there somewhere, because how else would the
- 39:19Speaker 9: TV it's.
- 39:20Speaker 5: All behind though.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Yeah, get to Matt.
- 39:24Speaker 9: My thing is, I don't know if it would fit
- 39:26Speaker 9: between the TV and the desk.
- 39:28Speaker 5: That's the only thing.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Look, those are coming. Those are going to happen.
- 39:32Speaker 4: It's not going to happen in this room. Will happen
- 39:35Speaker 4: next door there?
- 39:36Speaker 5: Yeah. Once we paint, then.
- 39:37Speaker 2: At the end of the day we.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Are it looks land looks like a nineteen eighty seven
- 39:40Speaker 4: prison in there right now.
- 39:41Speaker 5: Okay, at the end of the day.
- 39:43Speaker 9: Specifically, where's peppercorn or yeah, peppercorn? Yeah, where Sherwin Williams peppercorn?
- 39:49Speaker 5: Yeah, Landon, come on, got the paint picked out.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Then a little over twenty four hours, notice almost eight.
- 40:00Speaker 4: You're right, we're trying to give our listeners little extra content,
- 40:04Speaker 4: but we can't because we can't have them looking at
- 40:06Speaker 4: that beige color that we've got in that room right now.
- 40:10Speaker 4: It's gonna remind people of sad times, either in prison
- 40:13Speaker 4: or elementary school, because every elementary classroom was that color.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yep.
- 40:17Speaker 6: I gonna look at the air filters too, the old filters.
- 40:21Speaker 6: I want to check those babies out.
- 40:23Speaker 5: I wanna check the ceiling time.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I don't know if they've been changed since eighty five.
- 40:29Speaker 4: All right, we'll take a break, but before we do,

- 42:54Speaker 4: We we have the markers there as well, So I
- 42:57Speaker 4: think I think it's important to start like all on
- 43:00Speaker 4: the board and then go to.
- 43:01Speaker 5: The video how we think.
- 43:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I think we're gonna be basic, and then get
- 43:08Speaker 4: to the Beyonce version.
- 43:09Speaker 5: I think upgraded.
- 43:11Speaker 6: So Daniel bashing in the chat big time shout out
- 43:17Speaker 6: really made me laugh. There your message saying, y'all tease

- 43:29Speaker 6: gonna do it.
- 43:30Speaker 4: Tell tell me what part of that surprises you?
- 43:34Speaker 6: Tell me which which version of the story surprises you. Well,
- 43:39Speaker 6: we're gonna be doing it. It might take a little missision.
- 43:43Speaker 5: Yeah, we gotta figured it out. We'll get there. We

- 43:56Speaker 5: News might be on. You think they're gonna let you
- 44:01Speaker 5: read a teleproblem.
- 44:02Speaker 2: We might be a good more in America.
- 44:05Speaker 5: I'm not moving. I would pay to watch that like that.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Good Morning Beton Rouge.
- 44:12Speaker 4: That's good morning America, not good morning Bton Rouge.
- 44:18Speaker 5: Whoops, I mean do that.
- 44:23Speaker 2: That's good good stuff.
- 44:28Speaker 4: I'm still a little upset that Clemson runs a personnel
- 44:32Speaker 4: that doesn't have any running backs.
- 44:36Speaker 5: Oh one, O one saying it.
- 44:38Speaker 2: It doesn't sound doesn't sound right. You just called one personnel.
- 44:42Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 44:42Speaker 4: I don't really know that that's one of the ones
- 44:45Speaker 4: tied end, so I don't really know what.
- 44:48Speaker 6: I don't think anybody would ever call it. Oh one,
- 44:50Speaker 6: You just create a different name for it, like what'd
- 44:52Speaker 6: you call? Then create something like that?
- 44:56Speaker 5: All right, don't worry that we're just making names up. Uh,
- 45:03Speaker 5: she's onto something there, bub You can.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Try to get me all you want.
- 45:09Speaker 4: It's okay when name that's all right. When he calls
- 45:12Speaker 4: something like he's a big concept guy, it's okay. When
- 45:15Speaker 4: he has a two man rock combination named Poosier. Just
- 45:19Speaker 4: because disco.
- 45:22Speaker 2: You created a name, created a name when things don't.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Make discos and in and and out, you create.
- 45:27Speaker 11: A namehen things that makes sense that out in out
- 45:30Speaker 11: that's a paid manning. If you ever watch your is
- 45:36Speaker 11: we gotta kick, we gotta get video? Hey, because he
- 45:38Speaker 11: used to do the disco that was That was a signal.
- 45:42Speaker 11: There's a little bit more stepped.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Three off the bench.
- 45:52Speaker 5: You know where you should go?
- 45:54Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I do where?
- 45:55Speaker 6: Katazzy what interiors and outdoor living in tears and outdoor living,
- 46:01Speaker 6: both of them.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Ktoz blinds dot com is the website. Sometimes it's interior,
- 46:06Speaker 4: sometimes it's outdoor living. Sometimes it's both. You don't even
- 46:09Speaker 4: know it. They come in, put this incredible motorized shade

- 46:37Speaker 4: in that outdoor space so harlow can go out there
- 46:39Speaker 4: and jump and it's not so hot. You do that
- 46:41Speaker 4: as well thanks to that outdoor shade.
