- 0:05Speaker 1: It's however, it's all right.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We are ready. Everybody ready, everybody ready, everybody ready. I
- 0:27Speaker 2: is ready, I is ready. We is the drink, yep,
- 0:33Speaker 2: I I am drink. We is the drink. That is
- 0:38Speaker 2: my drink, custom custom deck name. This time he is
- 0:41Speaker 2: the drink. Mm hmm was that that was said that to?
- 0:46Speaker 2: I just posted that in the Yeah. No, when we
- 0:51Speaker 2: were in the when we were in Baltimore was Baltimore? Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 2: and we were we were drink. Yeah, I just it
- 1:00Speaker 2: wasty we were. We were so drunk. Y'all followed me
- 1:04Speaker 2: back and I had no idea where Yeah, yeah, and
- 1:08Speaker 2: then wanted, Yeah, she wanted to fight me for whatever reason.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm not gonna fight you. He grabs my
- 1:16Speaker 2: head and punches his own face with my hand. I
- 1:20Speaker 2: was like, well, I can't wait for this time around
- 1:25Speaker 2: because figs like, I'll make bloody Mary's and I was like, oh,
- 1:28Speaker 2: you dirty person.
- 1:30Speaker 3: No, no, he said bloody Maria's. There is lime, juice
- 1:35Speaker 3: and tequila involved.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fine. Wait is that in addition to the
- 1:40Speaker 2: vodka or in do you add you add the VODK?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Or is it tequila and stock?
- 1:47Speaker 3: I just google bloody Maria, because I'm like, did you
- 1:49Speaker 3: mean bloody Mary?
- 1:50Speaker 2: What's a bloody Maria? Come on, I'm not about the
- 1:55Speaker 2: tomato juice, So I don't. I don't make that many
- 1:57Speaker 2: tomato juice drinks. I just kind of figured you'd know this. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:03Speaker 2: So that's kind of just one of those things where
- 2:06Speaker 2: like you're like a somalier, right, yeah, so you just know, Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 2: it's it's it looks like it takes out the takes
- 2:17Speaker 2: out the vodka and adds tequila. I mean, I'm on
- 2:21Speaker 2: board with that. Oh god, damn horse Radish tabasco and tapatio.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I'm black pepper. This is delicious. I definitely like spicy bloodies,
- 2:36Speaker 2: So I don't I don't mind them. I mean I
- 2:39Speaker 2: don't want to, like, I don't want it to hurt
- 2:42Speaker 2: coming the other way out to speaking spy all the directions.
- 2:47Speaker 2: So so there was this at work, there was this
- 2:51Speaker 2: uh salca making contest. So I was like, I'll make
- 2:55Speaker 2: a salsa for sinco to my o. So so I
- 2:58Speaker 2: make this salsa, put it out all this and then
- 3:00Speaker 2: like people are going up grabbing it, filling up their plate,
- 3:03Speaker 2: like getting a little bit on their chips. And I
- 3:04Speaker 2: realized like, oh shit, I forgot to put the whole
- 3:06Speaker 2: sticker and says hot on the thing. So people were
- 3:12Speaker 2: not prepared for whoops, oh see you went that way.
- 3:20Speaker 4: We did a chili cookoff and one of our teachers,
- 3:23Speaker 4: who's been there for a very long time, is a
- 3:25Speaker 4: retired chef and likes to go ahead and mix Carolina
- 3:29Speaker 4: reapers in, but just doesn't tell people just one, just
- 3:34Speaker 4: one reaper for a nice solid fifty five galon. It
- 3:37Speaker 4: doesn't seem like much, but Carolina reaper really really, it
- 3:41Speaker 4: really curious it, especially if you leave the seeds in there.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I haven't heard anything that even says the Carolina reapers
- 3:47Speaker 2: are like good, like everyone's like, they just taste like garbage.
- 3:52Speaker 4: If you actually have enough meat with it, enough, it
- 3:55Speaker 4: does actually balance.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It outs because they're delicious. Hobby Euros are nothing. Are
- 4:03Speaker 2: we recording? Yeah? Yeah, my butthole just puckered. I don't
- 4:06Speaker 2: know about you, guys. I was like, oh, that was
- 4:08Speaker 2: pretty good. Actually, this is good. Got that. I don't know,
- 4:10Speaker 2: Just keep this. Yeah, I haven't even done the intro yet,
- 4:13Speaker 2: So what's new? Well, what's going on everybody? I'm the
- 4:16Speaker 2: puckered butthole w o ok, I e talking about spicy
- 4:21Speaker 2: food and my gut already hurts. But we've got the
- 4:25Speaker 2: normal cast of misfits. We got the Doctor PhD of
- 4:28Speaker 2: key Forge, Doctor m Sheep, Hello, the Deuce Ewalk Jr. Hello,
- 4:36Speaker 2: key Forde Community, glad to be here. And the draft
- 4:39Speaker 2: score of the draft score drass Core. Hey guys, it's
- 4:43Speaker 2: a going it's time to rate cards. New set came out,
- 4:49Speaker 2: I would say two weeks ago, probably in your hands,
- 4:52Speaker 2: maybe of a week ago, everybody for freaking six months.
- 4:58Speaker 2: No okay, it was out.
- 4:59Speaker 4: It was us out at KFC, but it technically releases
- 5:02Speaker 4: later this month.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So I was gonna say you had you had what
- 5:06Speaker 2: like odd dec maybe two and whatever? Ye, anyways, not many.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And now the world, the world has opened before us
- 5:17Speaker 2: to the sleepiest of dragons, the sleepiest of dragons. We're
- 5:20Speaker 2: going to find out how sleepy Equedon is today, and
- 5:25Speaker 2: you guys can it does release just so weird. I
- 5:33Speaker 2: have such a problem with this because like, how do
- 5:35Speaker 2: you do a pre release when you have oh I
- 5:39Speaker 2: forgot about the yeah or pre release kits? How do
- 5:44Speaker 2: you do a pre release when you have a game
- 5:48Speaker 2: found that comes up before the pre release. Is it
- 5:50Speaker 2: a pre release or is it just I think they
- 5:52Speaker 2: just title it release event. Did they announce it like, yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 2: that was on that.
- 6:00Speaker 3: They announced it after you could no longer order pre
- 6:02Speaker 3: release kids?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Are you cereals?
- 6:05Speaker 3: Yes, because they put that up and I was like, oh,
- 6:07Speaker 3: I never add our store order them, I'll just order
- 6:09Speaker 3: them myself. Oh I can't order them anymore?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah, right makes sense? I mean yeah, I would have.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I would have liked that it just won solid Draconia
- 6:22Speaker 4: measures that the Oberos pin that that would have been
- 6:25Speaker 4: real nice for someone who actually cares about pins with
- 6:28Speaker 4: it being Rando pins.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Uh, there isn't much that really, is it? They got
- 6:33Speaker 2: so many.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I understand they have so many. But again, if you
- 6:37Speaker 4: just grab here's here's a new house that's obos it's
- 6:40Speaker 4: coming in for the release, it would be more enticing
- 6:43Speaker 4: than just Rando pins, which.
- 6:45Speaker 2: And I ain't gonna lie to you, you could more
- 6:46Speaker 2: than likely order whatever pin you want. I mean, I
- 6:50Speaker 2: get it. I understand it's just to the stores, you know,
- 6:54Speaker 2: doing a vent, make the store some money, you know,
- 6:59Speaker 2: all the things we've been preaching for.
- 7:02Speaker 4: But Jrconia measures, I mean game found pledges have gone
- 7:06Speaker 4: ahead and started shipping internationally. In US, A number of
- 7:11Speaker 4: individuals here have had it. We were able to play
- 7:14Speaker 4: a little key rarium this week at our locals and
- 7:18Speaker 4: so it's fun. I definitely enjoyed. I enjoyed a new sets.
- 7:24Speaker 4: I enjoyed playing TRACONI Measures. I did not enjoy the
- 7:26Speaker 4: deck that I opened.
- 7:28Speaker 2: To check out. You'll have to you'll have to wait
- 7:32Speaker 2: for Peak to release things on the Archives Corner YouTube
- 7:34Speaker 2: because I think he's doing it.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yeah, these may never see the light of day. They
- 7:40Speaker 3: were They were a very rough first. I brought some
- 7:46Speaker 3: random stuff. We grabbed random stuff around the store and
- 7:49Speaker 3: set up a really rough recording setup just to get
- 7:53Speaker 3: something and so we can start playing with.
- 7:57Speaker 4: It.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Will be we're going to refine it.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Well, I am one hundred percent find that this never
- 8:03Speaker 4: sees the light of day because I literally got locked
- 8:06Speaker 4: out in Uh it's turned water turned two and that
- 8:10Speaker 4: was the game, So.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yay on that sweet PV locky out. No, No, this
- 8:17Speaker 2: was all d M.
- 8:18Speaker 4: It was all DRACONI measures, and uh yeah that that
- 8:21Speaker 4: causes some real issues, especially if you don't have C.
- 8:26Speaker 2: You know, C being important something just like most I
- 8:29Speaker 2: mean there are. There are some houses with some good
- 8:31Speaker 2: c in this set, so I think it's it's a
- 8:33Speaker 2: little easier to get CE than it is in PV.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Depends on your houses, which honestly is like most sets,
- 8:43Speaker 2: but it feels a little more plentiful here. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 2: like most sets. M yeah. But let's get into the
- 8:53Speaker 2: stickiest of the ikey, the sticky ikey equadion. I don't
- 8:58Speaker 2: know how that came about, why we call them that,
- 9:00Speaker 2: but uh, well let's actually and real quick, let me
- 9:04Speaker 2: just tell you if you're if you're listening right now,
- 9:06Speaker 2: how can you follow along at home? So if you
- 9:09Speaker 2: go to drazzscore dot com that's d R A Z
- 9:13Speaker 2: S C O R E drass score dot com and
- 9:17Speaker 2: then you click on the top of the page, just
- 9:20Speaker 2: click view all cards and that will bring you to
- 9:23Speaker 2: all the cards and from there you can filter by set,
- 9:27Speaker 2: so you can filter by draconian measures. And then if
- 9:32Speaker 2: you want to look through the cards of the order
- 9:35Speaker 2: we are, instead of just sorting by name, you should
- 9:38Speaker 2: sort by house and then that will do house and
- 9:40Speaker 2: then name, and uh, you can you can follow along
- 9:44Speaker 2: at home and uh if you so, if you log in,
- 9:48Speaker 2: you can there's an option right above all the cards
- 9:51Speaker 2: to enable my score. So my Score is a feature
- 9:55Speaker 2: that lets you tell us that we're idiots and how
- 9:59Speaker 2: we rate cards, and you can create your own rating
- 10:03Speaker 2: for the cards, and you can score the cards, and
- 10:07Speaker 2: then that'll also contribute to a community score you can
- 10:10Speaker 2: see so you can see where the community things were idiots.
- 10:13Speaker 2: And then when you look at decks in the future,
- 10:16Speaker 2: it'll tell you not just the draft score that deck,
- 10:19Speaker 2: but the my score of the deck. And if you're
- 10:22Speaker 2: a Patreon, you can actually get even more out of
- 10:25Speaker 2: my score. It'll tell you the my score for all
- 10:28Speaker 2: the decks all at once, potentially if you set it up. So,
- 10:31Speaker 2: so following home, go to drazzscore dot com, go to
- 10:36Speaker 2: the vial cards and put your own score in and
- 10:41Speaker 2: maybe in the future will do something cool with the
- 10:43Speaker 2: community score. Nice, but make sure you go over to
- 10:47Speaker 2: the draft score. You can follow along with us and
- 10:50Speaker 2: enter your own score. I did, guys, just fyi if
- 10:55Speaker 2: you are sorting along with us, I did sort them
- 10:57Speaker 2: by card names, so we'll be going in alphabetical order
- 11:00Speaker 2: as opposed to rare any order like we normally do.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Just so you can follow along with the draft score.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Mm hmm, everybody ready, all right, I'm ready authorize requisitions.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You get a pip a Vember every time you play it.
- 11:16Speaker 2: It is an action play, a friendly creature captures to
- 11:20Speaker 2: draw card.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Are we not doing the repeat cards?
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yeah, just new cards, as we always do. Just new cards,
- 11:34Speaker 2: and to go ahead and talk about it because we'll
- 11:35Speaker 2: talk about new We'll talk about the repeats at the end,
- 11:38Speaker 2: but for now, just new, just just the news stuff.
- 11:44Speaker 2: What didn't you guys give and you get to capture amber,
- 11:51Speaker 2: draw and capture and efficiency. Yeah, it's I don't know.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I I put in around four. That's what I put
- 12:01Speaker 2: it as.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I still had it as a three here. I
- 12:06Speaker 4: think that it could easily be three four. I have
- 12:08Speaker 4: no problem with it being four. You're gaining a lot
- 12:10Speaker 4: with the amber and the draw and the capture.
- 12:13Speaker 2: It is. It does do a lot, I feel. So
- 12:18Speaker 2: it's pretty too. There's a lot of cards out there
- 12:20Speaker 2: that just capture two, give an umber, capture two. What's
- 12:23Speaker 2: the original Sanctum card. It's like the clothing reference for reading. No, no, no,
- 12:30Speaker 2: the action kind of talking about wow, this is great poverty.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Now that's a very different card. But no, pretty cool
- 12:43Speaker 2: it's like, you know, the sanctum guy pointing at the
- 12:46Speaker 2: naked aquan versu whatever, redress terms of redress. There we go.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I knew it was a terms of redress, which is
- 12:57Speaker 2: basically the same thing except you don't draw card. We
- 13:00Speaker 2: had that as a three. This is a little better.
- 13:04Speaker 2: It is a little better. I I'm like, nowadays is
- 13:09Speaker 2: just capturing two? Is that still a three? It was
- 13:14Speaker 2: a little bit in my head, so I did not
- 13:16Speaker 2: bump this beyond the I have a wear pants.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I think it's still okay. I'm fine with my four.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I'm not going to correct my score.
- 13:31Speaker 2: So both sounds like ewok and I both have threes.
- 13:36Speaker 4: It's it's a it's a positive three. It's you know,
- 13:38Speaker 4: it's up there. But I don't think it makes it
- 13:40Speaker 4: to four. I will tell you I did struggle with
- 13:42Speaker 4: this dress as I had scored all of the houses
- 13:45Speaker 4: earlier this weekend, so I went back and then re
- 13:48Speaker 4: evaluated afterwards because I want to make sure that it's
- 13:51Speaker 4: following a specific template overall. But there are some cards
- 13:55Speaker 4: where you look at it and you're just like, eh,
- 13:57Speaker 4: it's a three plus or it's a three minus, and
- 13:59Speaker 4: there's a there's a substantial range, but I still threw
- 14:01Speaker 4: it in a three.
- 14:03Speaker 2: So I'm gonna leave the draft score as a three. Then,
- 14:06Speaker 2: but Sheep and Wookie have entered their my scores, or
- 14:10Speaker 2: four users have seen it as a four. I have
- 14:13Speaker 2: six users. I don't know. Well, I haven't refreshed mine. Yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 2: if you repross the page, I'll tell you. Yeah, all right,
- 14:23Speaker 2: moving into blah four blaz four blah. Yeah, this is
- 14:32Speaker 2: annoying card to search for if you're trying to search
- 14:34Speaker 2: for it. Sure, I can imagine. I don't know why
- 14:37Speaker 2: you'd be searching for this card. Yeah, what is the
- 14:42Speaker 2: upside down character on top of the A and the
- 14:45Speaker 2: or I don't know what those aren't real smiley face
- 14:49Speaker 2: if they're not real, I mean those Yeah. No, No
- 14:56Speaker 2: other language besides key Forge language uses that. Like you
- 15:01Speaker 2: have a lot the two dots right, and then you
- 15:05Speaker 2: have like the apostrophe. I guarantee they did not create
- 15:11Speaker 2: their own font yeah for this, So I am sure
- 15:15Speaker 2: that exists somewhere else in the world, doesn't use like
- 15:22Speaker 2: key Forge does use its own font like you can't
- 15:29Speaker 2: go download it, all right, So an upside you on
- 15:33Speaker 2: top of the an inverted bread or an inverted arch. Okay,
- 15:42Speaker 2: I wonder if we learned something that we get to
- 15:44Speaker 2: go home. Okay, well, blah blah.
- 15:50Speaker 3: For is just that he's he's a decent bodied creature,
- 15:58Speaker 3: so he's probably gonna get to reap his is you
- 16:01Speaker 3: potentially can't use this guy to fight because you have
- 16:04Speaker 3: the damaged creatures.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Well up to so you can choose zero, but then
- 16:11Speaker 2: you do need to exalt. So I actually went wrong. Yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 2: for this, here just a four to two generic creature.
- 16:20Speaker 4: In my book, it is it is a four to two.
- 16:22Speaker 4: There is some more versatility here, and that you can
- 16:25Speaker 4: go ahead and basically heal an off creature in order
- 16:30Speaker 4: to exalt a different creature that you're going to kill.
- 16:33Speaker 4: So if you know that, let's say I'm attacking a
- 16:36Speaker 4: three power creature that already has a damage or two,
- 16:40Speaker 4: I can go ahead and choose to heal that if
- 16:42Speaker 4: I'm going to then pop it later, so it's now
- 16:44Speaker 4: exalted to So it it does have a little more
- 16:48Speaker 4: versatility than because it doesn't say your creature.
- 16:52Speaker 2: It's right, But I feel like I still don't think
- 16:55Speaker 2: there's still extraordinarily edge case of scenarios.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Yeah, two, I think I think I think it's a two,
- 17:01Speaker 4: and I think she was right with the solid body,
- 17:04Speaker 4: but I will say it's not The after fight is
- 17:06Speaker 4: not as bad as you initially see it as.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I have as a two, but it's there are
- 17:15Speaker 2: moments where it's going to be good, but not consistently sealed.
- 17:20Speaker 2: This might be an okay card. Yeah, I think it's sealed.
- 17:24Speaker 2: It's like there's a lot more on board. It's not
- 17:28Speaker 2: as it's not as focused like something. It's a solid reaper.
- 17:32Speaker 3: We've got lots of cards to score we have. Now
- 17:36Speaker 3: he's trying to put out work to do it. Let's
- 17:38Speaker 3: go doing way we're gonna Burglar, Well not in this.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Let's go man, all right, we got the ass Burglar.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Bypassed Burglar. Two power, it's the ass Burglar. Yeah, he's
- 17:51Speaker 2: the ass. Look at all those burgling that.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Ass Jersey Jersey time.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Two power, getty, Roog, thief and trench. When bypassed Burglar
- 18:04Speaker 2: is exhausted. Each of its neighbors gains action, steal one ember,
- 18:09Speaker 2: deal one damage to this creature. Why this is a
- 18:14Speaker 2: Shadows creature is it not? But he's got to be exhausted.
- 18:17Speaker 2: It's similar.
- 18:19Speaker 3: This is Baker Hill. This gives the six power guy's ability. Yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 3: so breaker guy that does action steal one deal one
- 18:31Speaker 3: damage to himself.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It's that guy. Yeah, well it provides it, but bypassed
- 18:35Speaker 2: Burglar is very similar to to Breaker Hill, which was
- 18:38Speaker 2: one power elusive. Each of breaker hills neighbors gain action
- 18:41Speaker 2: steal one does not deal damage. Yeah, Baker is better
- 18:46Speaker 2: than this, doesn't have entrench. He gains the power. Yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 2: gains power, which is maybe relevant, not relevant. Breaker Hill
- 18:58Speaker 2: was a one, bypassed a one.
- 19:02Speaker 4: This is this is This is better than Breaker Hill
- 19:06Speaker 4: because it's in a different state, but it is still to.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Be exhausted to use it.
- 19:16Speaker 4: You reap and then just go ahead and use it
- 19:19Speaker 4: outside of house.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Well, he's in trench, so he could just stay exhausted.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Now, if it's outside of house, you can't reap with him.
- 19:26Speaker 3: You have to leave him entrenched.
- 19:28Speaker 4: That is where you have to go ahead and leave him.
- 19:30Speaker 4: But if you have look at so here, each of
- 19:35Speaker 4: its neighbors gains. So if it's in house, you can
- 19:38Speaker 4: reap and then it still gains that effect.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you could argue, but the more I'm zero, I
- 19:49Speaker 2: don't like it's a zero. But it's not good. He
- 19:51Speaker 2: ain't making it. Yeah, okay, so we talk about another
- 19:53Speaker 2: card then you mean Chromatic Guardian. Now for.
- 19:59Speaker 4: You guys, actually have I added as a solid one?
- 20:02Speaker 4: I think that the community Yeah, the community rating this
- 20:06Speaker 4: is a two or almost two four going higher.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Like, I do not see that. I really don't. I mean,
- 20:14Speaker 2: draft core is decent enough not to expose what users
- 20:17Speaker 2: rated it to us, so we cannot make fun of
- 20:19Speaker 2: people directly. No, I'm putting it will be a Patreon
- 20:23Speaker 2: exclusive episode. No, we're not going to be.
- 20:28Speaker 4: But this, this is this is utilizing gem Coat vendor,
- 20:32Speaker 4: which you were talking about earlier. Action steal one deal
- 20:35Speaker 4: one to gem Coat vendors. So that is a combination
- 20:38Speaker 4: abilities that are being put together for Bypassed Burglar.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I just don't think it's good.
- 20:42Speaker 4: It's it's too weak at a two power in trench
- 20:46Speaker 4: that if it's out of houses, you really don't get
- 20:48Speaker 4: any use out of it.
- 20:50Speaker 2: This is a real bad card, right, sweet Chromatic Guardian
- 20:56Speaker 2: four power one armor Gettrukin Soldier. Oh okay, I read
- 21:03Speaker 2: this card wrong the first time I read it, and
- 21:05Speaker 2: I was like, can somebody explain this to me? But
- 21:06Speaker 2: now I understand if you are overwhelmed destroying enemy or
- 21:09Speaker 2: after fight, after reap, if you're overwhelmed destroying enemy creature,
- 21:12Speaker 2: otherwise destroy an enemy artifact. Yep, and those are those
- 21:19Speaker 2: are decent abilities. Now it is not on play, so
- 21:23Speaker 2: it's sky so he's gonna be pretty darn good if
- 21:26Speaker 2: it was on play. But but jazz to live around.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Now it's got a little armor. He's got power and
- 21:31Speaker 2: some armors, so yeah, he is essentially you know, you're Yeah,
- 21:39Speaker 2: if you fight, then it's harder to destroy an enemy
- 21:42Speaker 2: with it, but maybe you want to fight so you
- 21:44Speaker 2: can destroy an artifact. But having a little r is good.
- 21:48Speaker 2: So yeah, I was, I was putting out of three.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Uh, this is common, so you're gonna see multiples of them,
- 21:55Speaker 4: just like bypassed Burglar. So on the bypass this I
- 21:58Speaker 4: would prefer to see over it. I think it's a
- 22:01Speaker 4: decent three. I had two of them in my deck yesterday.
- 22:04Speaker 4: And the problem that I have is that isn't a
- 22:06Speaker 4: choice if you're overwhelmed destroying enemy creature. So if I'm overwhelmed,
- 22:11Speaker 4: I have no way to deal with an artifact. And
- 22:13Speaker 4: if I'm not overwhelmed, then like otherwise destroying enemy artifact,
- 22:19Speaker 4: so like I needed an off area that would and
- 22:26Speaker 4: that that was frustrating just in the game that I had,
- 22:28Speaker 4: because there was an artifact that was absolutely soul crushing,
- 22:33Speaker 4: so great to see. But that was just my individual game,
- 22:36Speaker 4: so two of them didn't really help me. But I
- 22:38Speaker 4: think for to one, it has a presence on board.
- 22:41Speaker 4: You can reap, it can do some things if you're
- 22:43Speaker 4: not if you're overwhelmed, here's destroying enemy creature. But it
- 22:47Speaker 4: also makes this easier to go down. So three is solid.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I'm fine with it. That was a little higher.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I think it's four when when you're behind it kills
- 22:57Speaker 3: more creatures, so that's good. And when you're head it
- 23:00Speaker 3: now can do something else. I can see that it
- 23:04Speaker 3: is an after reap ability, so it's not like you
- 23:06Speaker 3: have to fight to then get the ability right so
- 23:10Speaker 3: you could reap and get one of these abilities. It's
- 23:12Speaker 3: I mean, it's gonna be a solid reap every time.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I like it. I edited a three three. Okay, so
- 23:21Speaker 2: sheeps some four. Everybody's a three three vanilla scar and
- 23:25Speaker 2: this feels pretty good. I can see four here, but
- 23:27Speaker 2: I'll keep three here and that way. That way it's
- 23:30Speaker 2: a easy call. Dexter agrees. It's a three. There you go,
- 23:35Speaker 2: all right, Conrad Fisk physique Cony. This is this is
- 23:43Speaker 2: the most uh flavorful card in terms of uh name
- 23:50Speaker 2: to ability. Uh, I enjoy go ahead. It's a two
- 23:56Speaker 2: power Getty rookt enhanced. You get an Ember Pippen two
- 24:00Speaker 2: plus one power counters. Stupid power play. You may move
- 24:05Speaker 2: each plus one power counter from a creature to another creature. Yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 2: that that ability is not good. I uh, I mean
- 24:19Speaker 2: it's got an enhanced Ember, so that makes it not terrible.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I guess, but I don't really value the two plus
- 24:26Speaker 2: one powder counters that much of anything.
- 24:31Speaker 4: I will I will counter that this is one of
- 24:33Speaker 4: those cards where it has an amber enhanced pip and
- 24:36Speaker 4: two plus and power and that's the only saving grace
- 24:39Speaker 4: of why it made it to a one for me.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Otherwise this is a dead zero. Like if it doesn't
- 24:44Speaker 4: have that amber, I think it.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I always forget we could do zeros. Yeah, I always
- 24:50Speaker 2: forget we can do zeros. Yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Also a common here, So I enjoy Sarah, it's fine.
- 25:00Speaker 4: I think it gets ruled out from the zero because
- 25:02Speaker 4: of the amber pit Like you're enhancement's right there.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Like, it's also just fun to say that you're playing
- 25:10Speaker 2: Conrad physique. I don't know why, that's just it's just fun.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Sure interesting, all right? Uh so one or zero? Just
- 25:20Speaker 2: sticking with one zero sweet Dapper Chippeau. This creature gains
- 25:29Speaker 2: action deal for damage to a creature. That damage destroys
- 25:33Speaker 2: that creature, return Dapper Chappau to its owner's hand otherwise
- 25:38Speaker 2: attached Japper Chappau to that creature. Uh. Effect depends on
- 25:46Speaker 2: type of hat. I'm pretty sure that is the phrase
- 25:50Speaker 2: I said out loud as I was talking with Luke
- 25:52Speaker 2: and Barcas at KFC as like we were just like
- 25:57Speaker 2: talking and be like, Yo, wouldn't it be funny if
- 26:00Speaker 2: there was a card that acted like odd Jobs hat?
- 26:04Speaker 2: And you know, we sort of designed this on the fly,
- 26:08Speaker 2: just like chatting, and here it is, which is hilarious.
- 26:13Speaker 2: So it had nothing.
- 26:15Speaker 4: It had nothing to do with the sweet cowboy hats
- 26:17Speaker 4: that we wore.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That may have been how the conversation started maybe, and
- 26:22Speaker 2: then we started talking about odd Jobs hat. And then
- 26:25Speaker 2: that's why.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I don't think you're thinking about when you have like
- 26:35Speaker 3: four active creatures. If you got four ready creatures and
- 26:41Speaker 3: ikey icky. You put it on the first one use action,
- 26:43Speaker 3: you kill an opponent's creature, it comes back to your hand.
- 26:46Speaker 3: You play it on your next ready creature action.
- 26:51Speaker 2: So I do get four creature kills plus four ember
- 26:56Speaker 2: in Christmas Land. This is awesome. This is my this
- 27:00Speaker 2: is my believe in reality. You get to maybe use
- 27:04Speaker 2: this one to play it on another creature and then
- 27:06Speaker 2: it does not pop off again, so I then your
- 27:10Speaker 2: opponent has it right. Well.
- 27:12Speaker 4: I struggled with this because I did get I went
- 27:15Speaker 4: back and forth. I see what the scores listed. I
- 27:19Speaker 4: went higher because of Christmas slant, but I keep coming
- 27:22Speaker 4: back to it. I do think that if you I
- 27:26Speaker 4: think as a just an upgrade itself, what's the.
- 27:33Speaker 3: There's a crappy, crappy upgrade that is better than this
- 27:37Speaker 3: bone bone crusher. This creature gains action, destroyed creature. That
- 27:42Speaker 3: card sucks. Yeah, but that's this is worse.
- 27:46Speaker 2: No, no, no, the problem you can sometimes get more
- 27:50Speaker 2: amber out of it. Yeah, and that's the thing which
- 27:52Speaker 2: is not good.
- 27:54Speaker 3: It's not it's not significantly better, like because this just
- 27:58Speaker 3: guarantees destruction. This if it's a five power creature, you
- 28:01Speaker 3: got to deal with. This card does nothing. This card
- 28:04Speaker 3: gives them the.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Ability to come back, and you don't forget we're in
- 28:08Speaker 2: a set with plus one power counters, so that deal
- 28:10Speaker 2: four isn't as cool as it used to be.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Yeah, what, I hear what you're saying. But I think
- 28:17Speaker 4: that this is better than bone Crusher because of the
- 28:19Speaker 4: amber pip and the ability to bounce.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Bone Crusher just says kill it dead, doesn't matter. Yes,
- 28:26Speaker 2: but a million power audios.
- 28:29Speaker 4: But that's one time and the chance to be able
- 28:32Speaker 4: to go ahead, especially with some of.
- 28:33Speaker 2: The this is probably going to be one time as well.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Yeah you're talking about For that to be a reality,
- 28:42Speaker 3: you already have to have multiple ready creatures in equadon
- 28:46Speaker 3: and the board.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And this is something we've talked about, is those kinds
- 28:49Speaker 2: of cards cards it's a win more well.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Or Yeah, cards like bar Raising they suck because you
- 28:56Speaker 3: have to have stuff sitting on the board to make
- 28:59Speaker 3: that card good and that's just not a reality you
- 29:02Speaker 3: can actually count on.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Yeah, not an ark on. So after this might be better.
- 29:08Speaker 2: And yeah, I think this is a one. I put
- 29:14Speaker 2: it as a one as well. I walked into a
- 29:16Speaker 2: two after Sheep said things I'm like, no, let's live
- 29:19Speaker 2: in reality. I mean there's off like a time. I
- 29:22Speaker 2: mean I could go down to a two. I the
- 29:27Speaker 2: I mean, there are times when this is going to
- 29:28Speaker 2: be great, but I get that that is Christmas Land
- 29:32Speaker 2: a bit.
- 29:33Speaker 3: This card is funner, it has a FUNNLD, but that
- 29:37Speaker 3: doesn't mean it's a good card.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I can agree with this.
- 29:42Speaker 4: I have downgraded my three to a two, and I
- 29:45Speaker 4: stand by that, all right, I don't This is not
- 29:48Speaker 4: a one.
- 29:48Speaker 2: This is not going to update.
- 29:49Speaker 4: This is not the same as Conrad physique or Burglar
- 29:55Speaker 4: this no, no.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Yeah, Conrad physique you almost never have to discard. Where
- 30:00Speaker 3: Dapper you might just be discarding because you don't want
- 30:02Speaker 3: to put it on one of their creatures. Well I suppose,
- 30:06Speaker 3: I guess, because the worst they do is kill it,
- 30:09Speaker 3: kill your creature and then give it back to your hand.
- 30:12Speaker 3: But that's also potentially garbage because then it's a chain
- 30:15Speaker 3: when you don't want it. Now, I don't like this card.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I want zau of these.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Yes, I want.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Negative four dappers. And then the isn't even a dapper hat.
- 30:26Speaker 3: It's a stupid looking thing, not even.
- 30:33Speaker 4: The type of your hat that's a great hat.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Oh man, I'm gonna make that hat and wear it
- 30:37Speaker 2: to KFC. Done. We all should, oh man, a much
- 30:44Speaker 2: better card called Drastic Measures.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Only only if we all get in line and throw
- 30:49Speaker 3: all our hats at Luke.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, I mean I'm game. I'm in se see
- 30:54Speaker 2: if four damage destroys them or not. Otherwise you got
- 30:58Speaker 2: to give him your hat, which I guess you threw
- 31:00Speaker 2: it at him. Uh. Yeah, that he gets to wear that,
- 31:04Speaker 2: he gets to throw his hat back at you. Yeah,
- 31:08Speaker 2: aage all right. So Drastic Measures is an action purge
- 31:11Speaker 2: up to two cards from your hand. For each card
- 31:15Speaker 2: purge this way, gain one. Is really like, I'm really
- 31:23Speaker 2: liking this garden theory. Yeah, I get a little bit
- 31:28Speaker 2: of the efficiency and some amber. I put it in
- 31:31Speaker 2: a four permanent permanent efficiency, permanent efficiency, permanent. You got
- 31:36Speaker 2: that dumbest ship in your hand? Not anymore.
- 31:39Speaker 3: It's also which means if you actually have really good cards,
- 31:43Speaker 3: you don't have to get rid of them, right. I
- 31:46Speaker 3: just don't see where you don't two creatures into amber.
- 31:50Speaker 2: You want that umber? Yeah, I am. I do think
- 31:57Speaker 2: this is a four. I'm going to upgrade the drafts
- 31:59Speaker 2: score two four.
- 32:01Speaker 3: You know, What is very annoying on dress score is
- 32:03Speaker 3: I went through and scored all the cards and then
- 32:06Speaker 3: you did an update and none of my score saved.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Really, how do you save your.
- 32:13Speaker 3: You just change it? But it must have I must
- 32:17Speaker 3: have already been logged out and win.
- 32:18Speaker 2: It if you log especially if I bounce the server
- 32:22Speaker 2: because I'm making updates for you. Yeah, definitely.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yeah, So all of my changes are not fantastic.
- 32:29Speaker 2: That sucks, dude. All right, well I was making a
- 32:32Speaker 2: change for you. You requested it. Yeah, it's fine, it's fine. Three.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I'm good with it, although that I am changing, so
- 32:42Speaker 2: I'm kind of doing mine on the fly here a
- 32:44Speaker 2: little bit. But even swap another action pip a Vember.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Every time you play it, play give control of two
- 32:54Speaker 2: friendly creatures to your opponent, one at a time. If
- 32:57Speaker 2: you do take control of two enemies creatures one at
- 33:01Speaker 2: a time, this is so good. I So I.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Watched this get played a few times and it was
- 33:12Speaker 3: not There was a lot of situations where they didn't
- 33:17Speaker 3: have two creatures when they wanted to play this card.
- 33:20Speaker 3: So that is just one one creature to your opponent
- 33:25Speaker 3: and get bathing. No, you're having to give two to
- 33:30Speaker 3: be able to get anything back.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Sure, and it's still very too hard to give to
- 33:40Speaker 2: it just says one at a time. I mean give
- 33:43Speaker 2: give Conrad physique and bypass Burglar to your opponent and
- 33:47Speaker 2: take to their.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Pools and leave them exhausted. Yeah, there there are places
- 33:54Speaker 3: where this card is great. I just don't agree with your.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Score of it. There's there's there's a lot of capture.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Are you what are you thinking? Yeah? This is really good,
- 34:07Speaker 2: really good. I just don't know if it's a six.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I guess I can live with a five.
- 34:13Speaker 4: It is my score as a five.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Do you got four? Four? There is a lot of
- 34:22Speaker 2: capture in the set? There is a lot of Still, yeah,
- 34:27Speaker 2: I can understand that. But it's like you said, I
- 34:29Speaker 2: have to give two to get anything to get. I mean,
- 34:32Speaker 2: I guess I'm giving it either way. So as here.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Here's the other thing that you do have to remember,
- 34:37Speaker 3: and we talked about this car before, is if you
- 34:39Speaker 3: have two good creatures, you can still play this for
- 34:42Speaker 3: the amber. Give them your two good creatures and go.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I'll just take my two good creatures back because teachers
- 34:48Speaker 3: are junk. Because you've already given that. Okay, never mind,
- 34:52Speaker 3: I can get behind it.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Now. I don't know if I can give it a six,
- 34:55Speaker 2: but I can give it a five. The five is
- 34:58Speaker 2: fine there. If you captures are all five, then by
- 35:03Speaker 2: rule I'm gonna change it to a five. But I'm
- 35:06Speaker 2: going to update my score to a six.
- 35:09Speaker 4: So you can look for this stupid card and you're fine.
- 35:13Speaker 4: I will tell you that true story. Uh No, c
- 35:17Speaker 4: and plus one power counters don't do much and also
- 35:21Speaker 4: capture pips. Yeah, that's not the way to win it, KeyForge.
- 35:25Speaker 3: So nope, it is when you can do things like
- 35:28Speaker 3: this and give all your amber to your opponent.
- 35:31Speaker 2: That's it's a rare. It's a rare there. And yes,
- 35:33Speaker 2: I did not have.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Cards coming up that that swap like reading it as.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I did not read it as kind of a pseudo exile.
- 35:45Speaker 2: So so so you know what card? All right? Hold on,
- 35:48Speaker 2: what's the car exchange program? Exchange program reads you get
- 35:54Speaker 2: an ever play, choose a friendly frank flank creature and
- 35:57Speaker 2: an enemy flank creature. If you do swap control those creatures,
- 36:00Speaker 2: that's a five, which is why five this this is
- 36:06Speaker 2: just better than that by a good amount.
- 36:10Speaker 4: It doesn't make it into that six. Again, there's a
- 36:12Speaker 4: range there. I think that that probably needs to be
- 36:15Speaker 4: probably pushed closer to a four in my score, but
- 36:20Speaker 4: I'm still fine with I'm still fine with it being
- 36:22Speaker 4: a five. I do not, I do not see it
- 36:24Speaker 4: as a side.
- 36:25Speaker 3: I think stealing you're I I think you're I think
- 36:28Speaker 3: there are some general undervaluing of stealing creatures recently still
- 36:33Speaker 3: super strong, but I don't know.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I'm with them.
- 36:35Speaker 3: This car is a five to me. It maybe is
- 36:38Speaker 3: a six, but I don't know it. It isn't perfectly
- 36:41Speaker 3: reliable because of the one creature or no creature life
- 36:46Speaker 3: that you could get stuck living.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, there's plenty of good cars that sometimes
- 36:51Speaker 2: don't do anything, but there's a Yeah, there's plenty of
- 36:57Speaker 2: good moments though, But okay, all right wing excel Don
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yash three Power Human Merchant. After reap Capture two. You
- 37:11Speaker 2: may discard a card if you do move one umber
- 37:14Speaker 2: from Exceldan Yash to your pool. This already existed as
- 37:22Speaker 2: a Mars card. Yeah, it's a card handle Lamby Lynx
- 37:29Speaker 2: Candy Linx card.
- 37:30Speaker 3: If you do, your opponent loses one functionally the same
- 37:34Speaker 3: thing as this. It's actually this is one more capture
- 37:38Speaker 3: doesn't have the scrap of candy.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Links scrap really good.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Wow, somebody my my scored Yandy Lins as a one.
- 37:47Speaker 2: What kind of clown did that? Man? There was some
- 37:52Speaker 2: way we could know, but here, okay, it is actually
- 37:56Speaker 2: annoying for me to figure it out right now the
- 37:58Speaker 2: way I have it, because then everybody it's just the
- 38:00Speaker 2: code in the database, so I have to go cross reference.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Maybe maybe they're in the background working on craped aptive scoring.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Maybe maybe doing one zero.
- 38:12Speaker 4: So I will tell you at an uncommon slot, this
- 38:15Speaker 4: pulled weight yesterday for my ike I.
- 38:19Speaker 2: It is slow.
- 38:22Speaker 4: It is a very good reap effect because what you're
- 38:24Speaker 4: doing is your amber control capture two discarding a card,
- 38:29Speaker 4: which most of the time why would you an efficiency,
- 38:31Speaker 4: And then it's really reaped for two because you're capturing
- 38:35Speaker 4: getting rid of one of that so that you're taking
- 38:37Speaker 4: it right away.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Oh it's moved on to your pool. Oh yes, yes,
- 38:41Speaker 3: I in common pool. So that's even stronger. It's steel.
- 38:44Speaker 2: It is it is it is steel. It is steel.
- 38:48Speaker 2: It is still three. That is it is it is three.
- 38:53Speaker 2: That's good.
- 38:54Speaker 3: That's some witch level bullshit, because like I kill Yandy
- 38:56Speaker 3: Lynks is like they're going out of style because that
- 39:00Speaker 3: is just too much efficiency. You can stay in house
- 39:02Speaker 3: and you're generating lots of value. Yeah, this thing, this
- 39:06Speaker 3: thing is at least a three, if.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Not a four. It's in that three plus range. To me,
- 39:13Speaker 2: I'm at three at the moment. But I could see
- 39:18Speaker 2: the argument. I don't think I really played this, dude yet.
- 39:21Speaker 3: I think it might be that there isn't enough other
- 39:25Speaker 3: cards maybe that we want in this house to want
- 39:28Speaker 3: to stay.
- 39:28Speaker 2: There, but decent number of Equadon. I've been enjoying equadon
- 39:34Speaker 2: because you want to their sappers, right, and there's uh,
- 39:39Speaker 2: there is ready in in in house. Man. I just
- 39:45Speaker 2: I want to like this card. But again, I just
- 39:47Speaker 2: think it's like, I mean, he's, well.
- 39:51Speaker 3: You you live in this world of If it isn't
- 39:54Speaker 3: Trunk's creed, you don't bother playing it anymore. It's like
- 39:56Speaker 3: if it doesn't win in one play, I'm gonna be
- 40:00Speaker 3: I'm going to play it. But like it's it's in
- 40:02Speaker 3: that Goldilocks zone of three power, so it's very it's killable,
- 40:06Speaker 3: very killable. Like you said, it is witch status, right,
- 40:09Speaker 3: I do I do which problem? Possibly need to kill
- 40:12Speaker 3: this because that is a lot of a lot that
- 40:15Speaker 3: is ember control and functionally a steel.
- 40:21Speaker 2: There.
- 40:22Speaker 3: That is an interesting thing is it's not actually a steal,
- 40:26Speaker 3: so anti steel effects don't work right anti but pertunately
- 40:30Speaker 3: it's a steal, and it gives me some efficiency on
- 40:33Speaker 3: top of that to be able to get rid of
- 40:34Speaker 3: some junk in my hand that I'm not really interested
- 40:37Speaker 3: in at the current time.
- 40:40Speaker 4: So I had this initially at A three. After playing it,
- 40:43Speaker 4: I had bumped into a four yesterday. I did go
- 40:45Speaker 4: back and actually update that before our cast, just because
- 40:48Speaker 4: you just see the capture two. But you're gaining a
- 40:51Speaker 4: lot out of this. It is slow at the three
- 40:54Speaker 4: power needing to.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Be gaining a lot out of it. It is slow,
- 40:57Speaker 2: and it is like again it is does it doesn't
- 41:00Speaker 2: to die if I see it.
- 41:02Speaker 4: But there's not a ton of targeted Like I know,
- 41:05Speaker 4: you keep looking at the.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Do you mean I can throw my hat at it?
- 41:11Speaker 2: You can throw your hat at it, but look.
- 41:15Speaker 4: But look, I mean, I mean we talk about that,
- 41:17Speaker 4: but looking at the targeted removal in draconian measures, I don't.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeh, But right, this is everything. There's so much deal
- 41:30Speaker 2: three damage kill this creature. I still think it's it's
- 41:34Speaker 2: it's a three power strong reep effect.
- 41:37Speaker 3: If you want to make it a three or a four,
- 41:38Speaker 3: it's not I'm.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Cool with a three. I don't know if I can
- 41:42Speaker 2: pushed to a four.
- 41:44Speaker 3: I haven't pushed it to a four either, but I
- 41:46Speaker 3: have also not played with equad.
- 41:48Speaker 2: I had it at a two. After after all the talk,
- 41:51Speaker 2: I've I've come up to a three. I just I
- 41:55Speaker 2: see this guy just just being sounds like this card
- 41:58Speaker 2: pile good. Okay, it sounds like it's a three right now,
- 42:02Speaker 2: I with further play, meaning if I play this card,
- 42:06Speaker 2: I might I might go higher. All right. It is
- 42:12Speaker 2: the Fiat trans coder. If you needed a trans I
- 42:18Speaker 2: read flat. You know, for a while I read I
- 42:21Speaker 2: kept reading flat too, But I'm like, oh, trans it
- 42:25Speaker 2: can code by car.
- 42:27Speaker 3: I do feel like missing the fix it again, Tony
- 42:30Speaker 3: as the.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Flavor text is mm hmm, yeah, we get Maybe we
- 42:38Speaker 2: shouldn't touch it. That's a good that's a good rule
- 42:40Speaker 2: of life. Maybe you shouldn't touch it, but it don't
- 42:47Speaker 2: touch Wookie, lick this stone and give it a g
- 42:49Speaker 2: I A I will. It is an artifact action. Lose
- 42:54Speaker 2: one amber if you do take control of an enemy creature.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Taking control of enemy creature is pretty good and the
- 43:04Speaker 2: one amber is not terrible for the potential game. And
- 43:08Speaker 2: you chose was a card in shadows before that, I
- 43:13Speaker 2: was scolded was a bad card, but that would kill it.
- 43:17Speaker 2: There was a mass mutation card. I think it was
- 43:20Speaker 2: mass mutation was losing Ember destroyed enemy creature. Now it
- 43:25Speaker 2: was an action card. Yeah, whispers pay an umber blow
- 43:29Speaker 2: up an enemy creature. Pain and Umber to destroy a
- 43:32Speaker 2: creature is not typically as good as paying Ember to
- 43:35Speaker 2: gain control of a lot of creatures. Yeah, I mean
- 43:42Speaker 2: you share any houses. It's strong. I agree, it's it's
- 43:46Speaker 2: it's better. I don't know if I.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Think taking control of cards with all the status effect
- 43:54Speaker 3: creatures that exist in this world, now these.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Cards are really really good. I mean this steals brio.
- 44:01Speaker 3: And in a lot of ways you got to think
- 44:03Speaker 3: about like you as well. As it doesn't have a
- 44:06Speaker 3: pile of amber on it. Taking control of an enemy
- 44:08Speaker 3: creature is almost, if not as good as destroyed it.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Yeah. The only downside I guess is it for the
- 44:17Speaker 2: new overwhelmed effect. I guess, but that I don't know,
- 44:21Speaker 2: that's a big deal. I don't know the the.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Whether this is a four or a five, A five
- 44:32Speaker 3: because you can use it many times, or because it's
- 44:36Speaker 3: a stinking artifact and it's slow so it's all you
- 44:39Speaker 3: might not even use.
- 44:40Speaker 2: It and you have to go back to Equadon and
- 44:42Speaker 2: do it. Yeah, that's the which I think. This is
- 44:47Speaker 2: a house you want to go back to. There's there's
- 44:51Speaker 2: some I don't know, there's some decent creatures to play
- 44:55Speaker 2: around with. I don't Yeah, there's also a lot of
- 44:57Speaker 2: decent trash. Uh okay, uh yeah. You guys are saying four.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I gave it a three. I give it a five.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I know you did. I was going to leave it
- 45:10Speaker 2: as a five. No way ft five? What do you?
- 45:16Speaker 2: Where are you at? You walk? Oh? Four? Four? I
- 45:21Speaker 2: love it. I love to take but I gave it
- 45:24Speaker 2: a three. Three Yeah, artifacts, you know I hate artifacts. Artifacts,
- 45:31Speaker 2: slow artifacts, don't care ever, right, I'd rate it lower
- 45:35Speaker 2: if it didn't have a good ability when we start
- 45:38Speaker 2: crushing your face with our good artifacts and cry, yeah,
- 45:41Speaker 2: I will probably not since it's rare and we won't
- 45:44Speaker 2: see it very often, or it just ends up being
- 45:48Speaker 2: a stinker because you don't ever want to go back
- 45:50Speaker 2: to equadon because you're stuck with Elena.
- 45:53Speaker 3: This is so, this is actually maybe not as good
- 45:59Speaker 3: as the look at an opponent's card at random and
- 46:03Speaker 3: pay them one to play it.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Oh no, this is way better than that. Really. Yeah,
- 46:11Speaker 2: it is a random card in their hand which might
- 46:14Speaker 2: not even be a creature like well, but you have
- 46:16Speaker 2: the choice of not playing it too. Sure, you have
- 46:19Speaker 2: the choice of not using this. I don't know, four
- 46:22Speaker 2: or five whatever, I don't care, but it's in that range.
- 46:26Speaker 4: This is why I love my score. I get to
- 46:28Speaker 4: see what cards I really want to look for.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Ye, all right, I'm going to move it to a
- 46:31Speaker 2: four based on the group here. So all right, I'm
- 46:37Speaker 2: going to read this card, and I need somebody to
- 46:40Speaker 2: hold my hand while they explain it. Yeah, this has
- 46:44Speaker 2: to be the most convoluted card we've ever printed. No,
- 46:49Speaker 2: maybe not. I know there's a couple other convoluted ones
- 46:52Speaker 2: that like nobody plays, but there's far too much text
- 46:56Speaker 2: on this card for me to even care. But it
- 47:00Speaker 2: it's a key sheet, So can I do so? Forged
- 47:04Speaker 2: currency play move each plus one power counter and each
- 47:09Speaker 2: ember from friendly creatures to the common supply. Forge a
- 47:14Speaker 2: key at plus six current costs reduced by one EMBER
- 47:19Speaker 2: for the total number of plus one power counters, and
- 47:23Speaker 2: Ember moved to the common supply this way. Okay, I
- 47:27Speaker 2: read it slower now, I understand it better. All right,
- 47:31Speaker 2: cool to a minimum of six to a minimum yeah,
- 47:35Speaker 2: I luke, stop that. I don't think this is goodenough.
- 47:41Speaker 2: I don't know if this is good enough to be
- 47:42Speaker 2: to a minimum of six. Wow.
- 47:47Speaker 3: If it did, say, okay, just skip reading the key
- 47:52Speaker 3: cheat part. Remove all amber from friendly creatures to the commons.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Just read it for that effect. Yep, And that's good
- 48:01Speaker 3: right that that is a car that we desire in
- 48:04Speaker 3: other sets. There is definitely capturing this set. Just that
- 48:08Speaker 3: part alone. Ignore the fact that your G two. Sorry yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 3: it hits each amber and each amber from friendly creature.
- 48:21Speaker 2: It is only friendly. Oh you're right, wow, only dump
- 48:24Speaker 2: the captured amber. You have This card right now? Is
- 48:29Speaker 2: really good card? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
- 48:33Speaker 2: That might be a benevolent charity. Yeah, this might be
- 48:39Speaker 2: six of the five. I think the five is right.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Benevolent charity is a four no amber pip. You're right, yeah,
- 48:46Speaker 2: but this might keep you and minimum of sex. Maybe
- 48:50Speaker 2: you don't need you don't need maybe five. I'm gonna
- 48:55Speaker 2: go with five. I have five right now? Yeah, five
- 49:00Speaker 2: and five? Okay? Any argument to go up or down? Well?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Perfect game change. I'm sorry. I'm on the dress score
- 49:13Speaker 2: and I just like Game Changer even though he's perfectly bluffed.
- 49:19Speaker 2: He's a reprint a Golden Dagger three power Getty Rouken Merchant.
- 49:25Speaker 2: After reap, you can deal three damage to a creature.
- 49:28Speaker 2: If this damage destroys that creature, its owner's gain one.
- 49:34Speaker 2: So am I willing to give you an umber to
- 49:36Speaker 2: kill a three power creature. I've just been killing my
- 49:39Speaker 2: own Conrad Physiques bid has Burglars. I'm like, all right,
- 49:44Speaker 2: well I got something out of him die. But right
- 49:49Speaker 2: now we are on the gold.
- 49:54Speaker 4: I think that there is a card that we're going
- 49:57Speaker 4: to see as a common slot that will deal with
- 49:59Speaker 4: so being overwhelmed that this does okay with the game.
- 50:03Speaker 4: That Amber as a common card, it gives you a
- 50:07Speaker 4: little bit of c I actually found that I was
- 50:10Speaker 4: reaping to deal three damage to creatures that weren't necessarily dying.
- 50:15Speaker 4: That was also helpful for my opponent because they did
- 50:18Speaker 4: look at it as like I don't want to give
- 50:19Speaker 4: them an Amber, mostly because I didn't have amber control either,
- 50:23Speaker 4: but I think it's okay.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Are you guys looking at the crazy even swap combo right,
- 50:31Speaker 3: because this is its owner. So you give them control
- 50:35Speaker 3: your creatures and then you golden dagger your creatures. You
- 50:38Speaker 3: just gave them and you get the amber. Mmmm, that's wow.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Controller, It's yeah, I don't think that's means a very
- 50:53Speaker 2: big difference. And I guess but the fact that at
- 51:00Speaker 2: the creature that I don't love this card, something tells
- 51:04Speaker 2: me that's going to be a rotted no, this will
- 51:10Speaker 2: this will keep this. Yeah.
- 51:13Speaker 3: This is also not a may effect. Yes, so like
- 51:17Speaker 3: he reads, he kills himself sometimes.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and you get that's very sad. Yeah, it's period
- 51:27Speaker 2: and the rest of it just fizzles. He just yeah,
- 51:31Speaker 2: yeah cool.
- 51:34Speaker 4: There are so many creatures in this set.
- 51:37Speaker 2: I might have overrated this creature I have as a
- 51:41Speaker 2: three right now, but I try to two you walk.
- 51:48Speaker 4: I had it at three after playing, I'm fine with
- 51:50Speaker 4: the two.
- 51:51Speaker 2: I think it's pooh too, all right, Hot Mark November.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Every time you played it, it's action play exhausted creature
- 52:01Speaker 2: if you do ready a creature and yeah, I did
- 52:06Speaker 2: say a pipp member every time you play it are.
- 52:12Speaker 3: So many even in this house decent reap and use
- 52:18Speaker 3: a fact and this is exhausting one of their creatures,
- 52:22Speaker 3: or even at worse, you exhaust one of your off
- 52:25Speaker 3: house creatures. It isn't if you do so, it is
- 52:29Speaker 3: not a turn one, turn two plain necessay because if
- 52:33Speaker 3: they don't play a creature, there's nothing to exhaust. Because
- 52:36Speaker 3: this is you actually have to exhaust it. If the
- 52:38Speaker 3: creature didn't tip over, you didn't exhaust a creature, and
- 52:41Speaker 3: you don't ready a creature. I but this is still
- 52:47Speaker 3: very very strong.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I was considering to bump this up to them.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, but it's ready and uses where it's at
- 52:59Speaker 2: right now in this game is and this is this
- 53:04Speaker 2: is a good one. Yeah, a lot. It's an empty board.
- 53:10Speaker 2: You can't do it. But and if you don't have
- 53:12Speaker 2: an equin on creature, it doesn't matter. I suppose there
- 53:18Speaker 2: scenarios where you want to ready a entrenched opponent's creature,
- 53:23Speaker 2: like that'll happen once'able. But this is good. I'm actually
- 53:29Speaker 2: thinking about moving this my rating up to a five.
- 53:33Speaker 2: No Dexter agrees. Dexter says the five. Yeah, my score will.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Doesn't walk doesn't like anything anymore, You're doesn't like anything anyway.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I like things.
- 53:47Speaker 4: I'm sorry that we disagree with you and so as
- 53:50Speaker 4: a result we're wrong all the time.
- 53:53Speaker 2: But yeah, that disagreed with me, worked.
- 53:56Speaker 4: That that's why we can That's why we can use
- 54:00Speaker 4: I score to put this out of four for me
- 54:02Speaker 4: and five or six or whatever you want.
- 54:07Speaker 2: But I break the tie, so I'm going to five.
- 54:10Speaker 2: I'm upgrading it now. My score will be a four
- 54:14Speaker 2: Crisper rolled four power one arm or human after fight
- 54:20Speaker 2: take control of an enemy artifact. I agree with Dexter.
- 54:26Speaker 2: What is this art? Is that? Lisa l gaib and
- 54:31Speaker 2: then the little baby little babe sandworm. Yeah, the best
- 54:38Speaker 2: end worm that's gotta drink the lifeblood of like like
- 54:42Speaker 2: a weird space baby babe Shi Hallod. Yeah, like I
- 54:46Speaker 2: don't even know, Like he's what I don't even know
- 54:49Speaker 2: he's got what is this thing that's not not in
- 54:52Speaker 2: his hand? Is it a karooki arm thing that they have?
- 54:58Speaker 3: There's that other there's that their race or whatever where they.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Have something goofy on their left arms or crap. It's
- 55:06Speaker 2: like a little grabber hand is super weird. Oh maybe
- 55:12Speaker 2: is this guy it's just an equadn thing. Yeah, I
- 55:15Speaker 2: got no idea what's going on? I mean the art definitely.
- 55:21Speaker 2: How I like.
- 55:22Speaker 3: How he's got his little play you know, he's making
- 55:25Speaker 3: sand castles. Guy a little scoop in his bucket.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Mm hmm yeah, yeah, this is is this like somebody's
- 55:34Speaker 2: art card and they're like they described this wild scene.
- 55:40Speaker 2: I really want to be building the sand castle. Yeah,
- 55:43Speaker 2: I really want to pay Yeah sild and uh yeah
- 55:53Speaker 2: what they have to do with taking good roll of
- 55:55Speaker 2: any artifacts? Like a slide in the background, like right
- 55:59Speaker 2: behind him is that?
- 56:00Speaker 3: Yeah, he's always he's in the same thing of a
- 56:03Speaker 3: of a play.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's a playground. Yeah, I think, uh that's
- 56:12Speaker 2: it's it's like the fun version of We Are All.
- 56:15Speaker 2: It's like that heard that's come to life or something. Yeah. No,
- 56:20Speaker 2: and then it's in festive with crabs. Okay, take your penicillin.
- 56:28Speaker 2: I mean take control of an enemy artifict is a
- 56:31Speaker 2: good effect, yeah, uh, taking it away from your opponent.
- 56:39Speaker 2: If even if it's an action, it's good, I guess.
- 56:44Speaker 3: I mean it's it is one tiny iota better than
- 56:49Speaker 3: russ now.
- 56:53Speaker 2: It is.
- 56:53Speaker 3: It is better than russ Nower, but in a hugely
- 56:57Speaker 3: meaningful way.
- 56:58Speaker 2: To me, I think are equivalent. Rustnar is a two.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why somebody doesn't like it. I don't think
- 57:07Speaker 3: this is a point better than run.
- 57:12Speaker 2: For one take control. It is one Baybay Sandworm better
- 57:16Speaker 2: than russn all right. Anyways, so what do we give it?
- 57:20Speaker 2: What are you? Where are you at? You walk? I
- 57:22Speaker 2: had a three, I think that three. I got a three.
- 57:26Speaker 2: The other guy's got two, so we're giving the deuce.
- 57:29Speaker 4: I think the body by itself is where we had positioned.
- 57:34Speaker 2: It's on borderline there, I think. Yeah, I definitely have
- 57:36Speaker 2: other four ones in in this set as two. Yeah.
- 57:40Speaker 4: Well, but again, if you look at previous sets, this
- 57:43Speaker 4: is where it gets interesting. Some of the cards need
- 57:46Speaker 4: to be adjusted, but right here it's it's on that
- 57:50Speaker 4: border of two three.
- 57:51Speaker 2: I still have it as a three for artifact control.
- 57:54Speaker 2: It can it can live in the three land, but
- 57:56Speaker 2: it plays in the two world anyways. Not a tax, yeah,
- 58:01Speaker 2: not a tax. Not a tax, Pip November. Every time
- 58:05Speaker 2: you play it, it's an action play your opponent discard
- 58:07Speaker 2: is a random card from their hand. For each bonus
- 58:11Speaker 2: icon on the discarded card, they lose one. We have
- 58:14Speaker 2: this card already, just at a new house. Yes, that's
- 58:19Speaker 2: not mine steel one instead of this is this is
- 58:24Speaker 2: like a step between mind mind Fire, mind Fire, and
- 58:29Speaker 2: the one you're talking about. Yeah, so this is a
- 58:31Speaker 2: worse mind Fire. I guess, well, but mind fire doesn't
- 58:34Speaker 2: have a PIP.
- 58:35Speaker 3: What What's what I'm talking about the mind fire? And
- 58:39Speaker 3: then there's the coda one where it was just discarded card,
- 58:43Speaker 3: mind Barb, min Barb, mind Barb, mine Barbs are two two.
- 58:49Speaker 2: I think mind fires are two as well. This is
- 58:54Speaker 2: the mind fires A two? Yeah, I think this card
- 58:57Speaker 2: is this for this for this one too? Yeah, all right,
- 59:03Speaker 2: I'll agree with that.
- 59:03Speaker 4: Is there a pip on mind.
- 59:06Speaker 2: Mind Fire does not have a pip? Neither does mind Barb,
- 59:09Speaker 2: but I mind does have a mind Barb does have
- 59:12Speaker 2: a pipy right, yeah, I think.
- 59:14Speaker 4: It's it's still probably I had it as a three,
- 59:18Speaker 4: but I can hear it's an upper two because you're
- 59:22Speaker 4: gaining discarded card.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Can another account to vote again to make this a
- 59:26Speaker 2: two point five? So we're all happy, No, you do
- 59:31Speaker 2: what we want, but I'll donate a dollar to the
- 59:35Speaker 2: Patreon again. Oh well, then you definitely can Yeah, I
- 59:42Speaker 2: just say it's too like it's not reliable umber control. No,
- 59:49Speaker 2: it's definitely not reliable. It's it's like it's that random thing.
- 59:53Speaker 2: It's like.
- 59:55Speaker 3: Card right, yep, exactly. That's why this isn't again the
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: This is a better card than mind bar, but not
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: a point better card than mine.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: I can see that deuce dose the deuce now and later.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Not not just a candy anymore. It's now an action play.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Return a creature to its owner's hand, and archive a card.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: If you are overwhelmed, repeat the preceding effect.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: I had two of these in my deck yesterday and
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: at a common slot. I am very happy to see
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: this card.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a very one of these.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Okay, so a so return a card to a creature
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: to owner's hand. That's fear. That's a one our chive
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: of card. That is well, well, there's an opponent. You
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: can return your own creature. So, okay, you're right, I
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: did miss that, so it is a little better. And
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: then archive of card is worth four.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: We really like that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: And then there's a potential for this to go twice
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: because you could be returning your own creature, which is
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: on again and is period it's after you return the
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: first creature you evaluate correct.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: And so this is where I gained quite a bit
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: of value yesterday is being able to bounce my own card.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: You can bounce it a second, then bounce one of
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: theirs correct, And so that is where if it's close,
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: you have quite a bit of control you have. If
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: a creature is damaged, you can bounce it if it
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: is in house and you can use it and it
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: is damage, okay, now I can replay it. If it
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: has a good play effect, you can replay it. Just
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: even the archive a card to set up for a
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: house that you're bounce into later. This has a lot
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: of versatility, and there is in.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: D M alone.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: There's actually not a ton of archive paid a little
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: bit pks out there and a few others.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: But yeah, ironically, as soon as I wanted to.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Say it was it was in our play group yesterday.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: So yes, because I had two of them in hands,
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: so I went ahead and did this sweet little play.
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: But I had one card in my archive before, and
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: so I I went ahead and had three from this
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: action because I chose not to go ahead and use
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: to bounce my own creature on the second one, and
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: so I had three and the response was pika and
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: I'm like he was laughing as he played, like.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Yep, I walked into that one.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: I mean, you're not going to know it, but if
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: you see geistoid, it's something to.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Be aware about.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: With all the value, I can see a five, it's
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: a it's a solid five.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Amber makes me want to say four, but five is far.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: That's pretty good. Remember the good old days when we
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: preat the preceding effect didn't have a period and it
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: was a comma so good. This card will be borderline
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: busted if it did that. Oh yeah, that where you
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: just archive in my hand at that point, yeah, bounce
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: all my creatures arek on my hand. Now, I just
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: bounce your creatures. I bounce your creatures. Would you look
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: at that? Yeah? All right, that would be a phenomenal
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: And in the world of Trenk's creed, I don't think
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: that's crazy. But anyways, let's go to Donnie Lars. I'm sorry,
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: what did we all have? Oh? I put it as
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: a five. I thought we were all in agreement on five.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I'm sorry, okay, very good though, I'm sorry. This isn't Donnie.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: I just looking at this is an O. So this
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: is owners. Totally thought that was a D for Donnie. Yeah,
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: their makes it look like a D. So, but this
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: is OONI Lars six power, Getty, Rook and politician. After reap,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: you may pay your opponent one number. If you do,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: your opponent's keys cost plus four during their next turn.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: He has some power creature and you don't have to
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: use the reap effect. But it could be that stall
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: you need to win the game. So fine. I marked
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: it as a three, but maybe it is a four
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: just because it's a six power body with a functional
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: reap effect when you need it.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, Yeah, I had it as a four.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: I downgraded it to a three because yesterday that's all
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: it could do is stall the game another turn. So
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: really bad, I understand, but it is really tainting. Like
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: the idea, Okay, I'm giving you one more. I extend it,
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: but you're already in problem. It's more a reap.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: I like that.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: It's a may you're not forced to pay your opponent one.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: But yay, it's a three. It's a body. Yeah, I'm
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: on the fence here. I have it a four right now,
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I'm rereading it. I've not played this card. Yet, what
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: is lash of broken dreams? He low like lash is
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: probably three, maybe lashes the three. Now we you know,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: we haven't gone back and redone redund scores for a
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: bunch of cars. So essentially this is a lash of
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: broken dreams and a stick.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Right, So now it is not as good as a latch,
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: well except you are reaping, so you are.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: But I'm just gonna I'm going to reap to give
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: this ember to you. You can trade it with Brio,
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: so you know, I think it does kill Brio. It's
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: a six does kill Brio, and it's rare, so you're
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: not going to get piles of them. I think a
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: three is respectable because there were split on three and four,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: which kills Brio. I'll give it a four, okay, all right,
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Well I'll go out my point because it kills Brian.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: All right. We've got the Gigantic next for equadon the
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: Golden Queen. This card's got a lot of text, so
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: you got to play both halves. Obviously. Each player refills
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: their hand to an additional one card during their draw cards.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: Step after fight, after reap, each player discards a random
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: card from their hand for each excuse me, your non
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: aquadon card discarded this way gain one. Yeah. So one
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: thing I should call out before we say our scores.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: So the the original draw better the website done by
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Sol he implemented a whole ton of crazy requirements that
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: Z had that were kind of annoying to implement, including
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: the ways he handled mechantics. So I did not do that. Basically,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: the way I handle it is there are two Golden
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Queen cards in the deck. Therefore each card provides whatever
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: score we provide here, so we should consider that as
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: we score this. Okay, then I drop it to a
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: one year Okay, I mean it also comes with one
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: of the find it cards, right.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Yeah, But those in the scores version of this, those
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: are scored separately, although they are all link which means
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: you are now they added a bunch with more.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: I know they added some, but aren't they all the
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: same text? No? No, some of them are ve some
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: go to your hands, some going to tap a deck. Yeah.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so anyways, this we we saw a double of
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: these played yesterday. I tell you what, if they're not answered,
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: you can stay in house because you get to play
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: your echoed on cards and then you get rid of
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: your echoed on card and get amber and disrupt your
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: opponent is actually not terrible, but I had too.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: It's still too easy, too deep.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Remove uh true true story. Two top halfs do not
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: actually equal the Golden Queen.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: No, that became a golden Witch because it had visible Yeah.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: I would love to see a foil version of this
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: card of the Giants. Yeah, I am with sheep. Now
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: I am down to all one and and I am.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: Never a fan of both player the cards they give
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: both players hand sizing grace. I actually think those are
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: often a discard. I don't like that effect. Yeah, you
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: can give me, give me other people more. Efficiency is
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: just never there is rarely good.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: But I do get to discard a random card from
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: their hand, putting them back down to their original hand size.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Never, that's only if you're which as as they have
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: uh either on fathomable or O boris. Your guy's never
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: going to be ready and is never going to do that.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: Yeah, so I had it at say two overall, but
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: since it is two cards, it is a one for
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: each of the halves.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Like this is this is just a card. I do
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: not want to open one of these? All right, Well,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: then we're downgrading it to a one. Le we go
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: saving love it all right, all right, vast stike sto
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: another impossible to search for card. Now I feel like
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: that's their goal. You're never going to search for So
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: it's fine, right, Well, it's four power, one armor, taunt
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: after fight move one ember from a creature to the
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: common supply. If you do, you get to draw card.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: This is disappointing that it's a fight effect. If this
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: is a reep effect, that this would be for it's
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: the fight effect. Yeah, that's a taunt. Because it's a taunt,
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: it can be a three. Yeah, that's why I did,
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Otherwise it wouldn't be decent tonk creatures in the set.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: M h. I hate this card. I hate it so much.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: For one tent with a functional fight effect. It's not
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: a great fight effect, but it's functional. That's common, which
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: means I'm gonna see just this.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: Is also from a creature to the common supply. Yeah,
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: so it's you know, you could have to remove one
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: of your amber if you want it. Oh no, it's
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: not even a choice. Yeah, yeah, it's still fine. I
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: think it's fine.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I know I went about killing one yesterday because it
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: was is it one as bad, two is still bad,
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: three as what I will tell you hair. If you
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: go to the filter by scar, it tells you zero
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: was trash. One is poor, two is below average, three
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: is average, four is good, five is very good. A
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: six is a chase card, don't I don't know. If
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: I was in sealed, I'm fine with this, but I
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: think in ARCon, I'm just like I don't want these
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: like sealed. It's a functional reaper, like ar Coon. I'm
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: just like eugh as a reaper an arc, and it
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: can protect them of your other creatures that have higher
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: value me five power before we have said lives to read. Fine,
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I'll leave it at three, all right. I think this
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: is a good definition of an average card. Yeah, it
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: is very average, but just.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: No taunt, it would be below. But taunt makes this
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: a I don't know, the first entirely useful card.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I get to do its power every now and again.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: I suppose, uh, wasp cream. Nobody wants to change, nobody
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: wants to correct. It's it's wasp scream. I don't know
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: it's a wasp scream. It's sort space in between them.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Two power insects, cyborg entrenched and poison at the start
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: of your turn. If the wasp cream is exact to
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: take control of an enemy creature, why to take the
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: control of enemy creatures in this set? M hmm. This so.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: Again, I'm I'm having I'm actually having a bit of
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: a hard time deciding where this goes because I I
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: know the way I've been playing, especially in DM alone,
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: taking your opponent's creatures is has been super strong. I'm
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: just not worried about being overwhelmed overwhelming them. I mean,
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: like it is what it is like you're waiting they'll
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: find overwhelming. So but this one, because of the timing window,
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: a clever opponent can abuse you, right because if they go, oh,
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: I captured all your amber and I can make it
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: so I only have one creature, you have to take it, yeah, right,
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Or they have two creatures and they put three amber
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: on each because of crapture, you have to take one
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: of them. So there is now it's in trench. So
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: you kind of have an idea of what's going on.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: But the fact that your opponent is functionally getting the
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: choice of what options you're going to have in front
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: of you makes this one less less attractive to me.
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: Than the other steel creature cards.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I put it as a three. I think it
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: like it is something that your opponent has to deal
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: with unless they can abuse it right, But it's not
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: super hard to deal with a two power. It's poison,
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: so it will kill whatever it's whatever is dealing with
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: if it's very fun, if it's good fun, it will
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: kill whatever it fights. I feel like I'm gonna end
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: up using this to fight and kill something because it
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: has poison. I had three, so three. I actually have
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: a hard time knowing where I want to score this
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: card because I'm afraid of clever opponents.
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: I just think that there's too many creatures in this
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: set in order to be able to If yes, you
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: can go ahead and see the one time, but I
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: consider that a Christmas tree Land. I don't see you
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: going ahead and putting all the amber on one and
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: then getting rid.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Of everything else.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: You also, if you're close that you only have one
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: or two creatures out, or they only have one or
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: two creatures out, you have a choice not to entrench it.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: So in this set they can exhaust the sky. But
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: there you go.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: I this car it's Christmas tree Land. They need to
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: have the exhaust the creature and not play anyone else
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: and the capture Like, yes.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: Dude, I understand, but these aren't decisions I'm making. I
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: don't want to provide my opponent with the ability to
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: find a Christmas tree. This just carries too much liability for.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Me because you don't want to take it in the forest.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: I I, yeah, right, I don't want to put a
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: beer like the fact that it can occur, the fact
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: has the opportunity. Yeah, I just I just.
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: See this creature as having too much opportunity for downside
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: for me to like. It doesn't mean it's not going
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: to be good and against other sets and stuff. There
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: will be places where this card is going to be amazing.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: It's like the stupid pie piper right that I does card.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: It's too way easy to abuse that right, right, And most.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Of the time it means nothing and you can almost
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: safely play it because they don't even have more creatures
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: than you. So it's whatever. But there's just that chance.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: So the fact that it ends up in the discard,
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: this is in a similar boat for me.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Mm hm.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: So I have a hard time saying where it should be.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: I don't I don't have a feeling for this card
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: at all.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: I will say that having it yesterday again, there were
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: opponents that were worried about it and had to play
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: around it.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: It fell as which status.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean there is that other side, like
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: if they can't deal with it and you just get
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: to be taken their best creatures. It's also a good card, yep. Yeah,
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: it's this card might actually be stronger in sealed than
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: it is.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: So Pied Viper is a two. Now, interestingly, I put
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: the my score at one. Does Piper have enhancements on it? No?
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think the one that might be a
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: zero that card is yeah, it's it's real bad, all right,
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: what are we doing? We leave a three? Were changing it?
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Sheep's got me all like, I got my anxieties up
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: now I know Pete's got I had it. I had
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: it as a four with hearing you guys that downgraded
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: it to a three. I think that a three is appropriate.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: I three is fine. Can you get multiple copies of
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: this garbage? Probably it's uncommon. I mean, geez, just.
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: Think about like two of these that they can't answer
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: and then they can now never. I mean, they have
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: to have creature control to deal with them, because they're
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: just like they play a couple of creatures and you
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: take them.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: They play a couple of creatures and you take them. Yeah,
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: I don't know. Like, like I said, my anxiety an
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: all time highest, so and I don't even I don't
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: want to play any cards. So I just passed that.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: This guy's reoccurability, I guess could make him super strong.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: Right, you just he just keeps doing his thing in there.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: Four ripple wasp scream decks open so far right, So yeah,
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: you're definitely gonna get lots of wasp cream on you.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: One of them has a legacy island of misfit toys.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Yeah about that? Okay, Well that's that is uh equo down.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: I guess we are only getting one house done. I
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: told you we're only going to get one house done.
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: We only ever went well, there's no way we're ever
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: going to do two houses. You guys would do things
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: at my pace. We would be fine. All right? Is
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: there anything interesting to talk about? We talked about techno
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: eracaphobia before cats and how it is now a trash card.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: I think it was always a trash card, sir. I
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: think it was fine in gr where you wanted to
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: get haunted. Now it's garbage. Yeah, Amber Amber amb Trash
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: is back in set.
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I downgraded that to two along with our projects.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I should do that too. I wasn't paying attention.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Hut Talent Scout back still good if you like cards
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: with a lot of text on them. Bartering games is back,
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: and so I was looking at Speaking of bartering games,
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: so when I was first launched the feature yesterday where
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: you could basically generate my scores for all the decks,
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: I was actually watching the logs, which I normally don't do,
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: and somebody was sitting there changing the my score for
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: bartering games between one and two, like back and forth,
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: back and forth. I was like, I feel you, dude,
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: this is the weirdest card. I don't know what to
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: do with this one. Yeah. I like that.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: Midyear Festivals is also back. So that's two cards in
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: this house that clean all Amber off creatures functionally.
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: Wow, So, like, who is rating the Sapper higher than
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: a one?
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: Well, let's go back to Midyear Midyear you put as
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: a six strass and I still.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: Have issues with this. We did that together. I still
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: disagree on that that. Yeah, okay, I disagree. I think
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: that card is still pretty good, often crazily good.
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: Oh and there are is it a Is it a
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: card that I am searching out for that I want? No,
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: it makes it a solid five.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: Winning less games because that card is that card is
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: at worst board wipe with an amber pip and at
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: best cleared them off and you don't lose anything.
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: Yeah, choose nine creatures that I have to choose, so
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: if I have, I understand.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: And that's why I said at best it's clearing them
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: and not you. But most likely it's just a full
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: board clear with an amber.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: Dump and choose nine creatures. Then what they do, then
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: you can't play it. But but there's plenty of times
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: you can't play a board wipe, but you still really
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: want it in your deck.
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: Well, and sometimes you just accept all your ambers going
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: away because when they have a ton of creatures and
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: you can make more amber, you need the boardwipe like
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: your boardwipe. And what's his name all the time, the
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: soaring creature that scraps all amber on creatures.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: Mhmm, Yeah, I just don't like. I noticed that the
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: board wipes were consistently high, as were the key sheets.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Because they're both really strong.
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: Yeah, they're strong, but I think that they fall more
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: as fives and six is it just was an interesting
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: observation to be able to see. So I think Midyear
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: is fine as where it is, but it falls as
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: a five. It is not a chase card for me.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Reap the wild Wind is back. I like that. Yeah,
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: this is a card we disagree on. I put it
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: as a four.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: I I dropped it all the way down to a
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: three just because I got that Drazz is fives.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: It has made this one together. It hasn't disagree.
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: It has three print, it has three enhanced amber on
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: it and a print at amber that's hard to be
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: able to pass up with the actual play effect.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, good, No, what do you guys think of.
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: Three sheets to the wind?
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: There's three sheets to the garbage file. Well, a little coruption.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: It's as as far as I'm served, it's as good
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: as the Purge random card from their hand.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: So what's the card that does that that we just
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: had on that one? No, No, that's that's discard the
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: Purge one, which is clipped wings clips. It's functioning as
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: good as that half a clipped wings.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: Which is better. Yeah, yeah, draw cards, but they're getting
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: rid of three cards, so they're not drawing. It is
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: a functional you're you're you're dropping them to five.
- 1:24:35Speaker 4: You're dropping to five. They're losing one and this and
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: and it is.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: If they're hand crafting, it is disruptive. It is. It
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: is fine. It's just it's to me, it's just the
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: purge part of clipped wings. And clipped wings is a
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: five because it can purge.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Or it can deal with the archives archive problem. So
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: it's a very good, very very good card with an
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: amber pip. Where this is this is a lot of
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: words that in a lot of ways is just pert
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: random from their hands, especially in sealed but you know,
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: in serious handcrafting, this thing has more disruption value, but
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: not a lot of love for that card. Yeah, and
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: and again this is one of those cards even because
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: of the because it does actually bring three cards into
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: their hand and then disperses them. It can reckless, which
- 1:25:30Speaker 3: is make their hand better. It can do that as well.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: Ye man, the same thing that happened as sheep just
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: happened to me. My score is not gone. It's okay,
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: I'm afraid to click a refresh buttons all. Why what
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: it's probably I'm knocked out again.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: It's not all of them, but like a lot of
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: them went away again. Yeah, like everything after Wasp Wasp Cream. Yeah. Well,
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: well I'll just because Jazz is in the back clicking
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: on things, I went Claude's the one doing it. I
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: did today. I did finally successfully complete my visa for Vietnam. Vietnam.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: I had to turn on a Vietnam VPN to make
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: it work, but I got it done fair enough. Other
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: than that, no, I don't think there's any new fun news.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: I mean, Dracodian Measures pre release release event is coming.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: I think we covered that last week kind of not really,
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: we actually didn't cover that at all, but we talked
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: about Portland's happening this weekend. Yet you're going, right, I'm yeah,
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: jumping on playing tomorrow Mamnon and Ill Bloody Maria.
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: Are there any of the side events you want to
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: play in? Obviously you'll stick to whichever major as long.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: As you can. But yeah, if you're ex in two.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: Right when a side event is starting on date two
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: or day one, are you, I mean, are.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: You interested in Sealed Adaptive? Uh? Do it? I'll play
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: I'm a little more interested in quick Forage than sealed adapted.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: Are you bringing a deck for quick Forge? I did
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: grab one, Okay, well that's something. And then if you scrub,
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: are you drafting on? I think I'm going to try it.
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: I'm not bullish that I'm going to love it because
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: it is a constructed format, but I am going to
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: try it.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: I actually think I would like the drafting aspect more
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: than the actually playing with the drafted decks. But like,
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: I don't mind the theory craft part of draft to
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: some extent, but then the actual excitement of playing with
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: them and then realizing my theory craft wasn't good enough.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: It's not really theory craft when you're hate drafting all
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: the time cheap, so.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: I feel like that's a wookie thing. I wouldn't hate draft.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: I would. I definitely hate draft. You will both hate
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: draft a bit. I know you well enough. No, you're
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: a hate drafter. You don't know hi draft. I'm not
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: talking about you.
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: I have played enough board games with Sheep I know
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: what he will draft against.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: I will drop you when everybody else is letting you
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: get to the winning point.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: Just like you do to me. Or it's like whatever
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: poss nobody's got to do something about him. Yeah. Typically, Yeah,
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: to the left doing whatever she wants and just throwing
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: all the cards to him. Then we're just weeks away
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: from Saint Louis, which here was my party house.
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: Here's my question about Saint Louis. Yeah, do you guys
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: with Draconia Measures releasing on Yeah? Do you think that
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: we're going to see an update by Friday in the
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: TRG so that TRG is.
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: It's legal two weeks after release date?
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: Right? Or two weeks after after the TRG is updated updated.
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: That's why I'm asking if upated on Friday, because if
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: it's updated on Friday, then we are two weeks out
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: from UH Saint Louis and Jerconia Measures can be played.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: No, I don't think it'll be in the tr Well,
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: maybe they put it in the TRG so it becomes
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: legal for play on the twenty nine.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: Here's a better question, doesn't matter.
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: Well, I think that a new set plays a lot,
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: like we know that Sealed will be there, But I
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: think a new set actually puts some different pressure points.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: I mean, you cannot think so, but I doesn't throwning
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: even in the slightest. I haven't. I haven't seen so.
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: Like typically what you'll see from a set is if
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: it's got rush, you might see some people try their
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: rush decks from that, but I haven't seen hard enough
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: recurring enough rush coming out of damn. Like it's definitely
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: got some ready and use from hand stuff that is
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: pretty good, but it doesn't have a lot of way
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: to like do that turn after turn after turn, like
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: it doesn't want right which and then is after that
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: just trying to use its board to hold the game
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: to close versus g R and and the the robedar
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: consistency with bean stocks and riots or mars and it's
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: Shenanigan bouncing right where it just can push Amber again
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: and again and again.
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: I haven't. I have not seen that.
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: And even even the really good Amber Sky stuff is
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: just like reoccurring a couple of really good cards with
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: house pips again and again and again. There are archive
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: a replay like that stuff. I haven't seen that existing,
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: But I'm my exposure to d M is low, but
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: the number of house pips is really low in the set,
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: so a lot less of that occurs the even in
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: even though it has uh it even though it has
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: geystoids like you're getting cards back from your discard is
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: like my mat right, Like it doesn't have anything else
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: that I've seen.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, So it doesn't have a ton of
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: power recursion.
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: So yeah, I think I maybe somebody opens a good
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: enough Equaedown Shadows Combo to do it, or not equa
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: Down Shadows, uh, Skyborn Shadows Combo to feel like they
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: can play it, because those two have can potentially have
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: just absolutely dominating amber control.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: Maybe, yeah, but we've never we've never.
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: Actually, it's been a long time since you've seen a
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: deal centric deck.
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: Get to the top. Yeah, it's uh, because.
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: They're often losing to decks that have board presidents that say,
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: I can just make the amber again, and I have
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: someone on an amber control in these creatures. So you're
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: not forging anyways, even though you stole a bunch of
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: my amber.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: Right, So I'm not sure that that's enough. Yeah. My
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: assumption is you are going to see DMB available in
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: in Portland. I just I don't think it's gonna matter.
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: No, it's not legal for Portland. It's not legal for no,
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: it's they are playing it for sealed, but it is
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: not legal and arn.
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: And that's why the RG has to be updated by Friday.
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: But I think with the do they put VM twenty
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: six in the new PRG not a clue, I gotta
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: go check. I don't know. So right, you're asking if
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: you're allowed to just bring your like crack will get
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: your sealed decks and pull it through.
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: Yeah, the legal sets, the following sets are tournament legal
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: for official organized play. Won't Master twenty six, so that
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: isn't But they didn't.
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: But they didn't add but donkey measures isn't. They didn't
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: add DM though. No, it's not released yet. It's not released,
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: and that's why it was of course.
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: EI there's a V twenty six really but right, but
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: VM twenty six is all reprint cards, so it's a
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: little less.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: Other thing and it's already built in hard to get
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: in a way or like very limited release. So it's
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: not like so you you pull a Bangers sealed that
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: complained about.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: The release of VM twenty six, that you'll complain about
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: not being able to play it at a vault.
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah you can buy. So where there's the
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: potential you go to a vault or not have had
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: I do think that's wild that you pull it. So
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: you just pull us something absolutely exquisite in your seal
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: and you're like, I want to take this over an ARCon.
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: You can't do that, not that weekend. You'll have to
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: come to Saint Louis. Probably even if what is what
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: is the cut Oh yeah, because he said cut offs
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: two weeks and it's this weekend. Isn't there something in
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: the TRG that just says tournament organizers can change this now,
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: any changes this document master rule book will take that's
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: just implied. But but any change because they did they
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: did make TV illegal at Spain. Oh yeah, you know what?
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: And I think that was so, but give the ability
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: to do it?
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: So under the tournament legality In the TRG, it says
- 1:35:46Speaker 4: any changes to this document or the Keyboard Master rule
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: Book will take effect fourteen days after the release date
- 1:35:52Speaker 4: of the document, unless otherwise stated by the relevant document.
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: Make a legitimate just be like, yep, we're gonna make
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: DM legal and now it's legal. Mm hmm.
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: It just it's interesting with the release date. That's why
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm curious. Do I think it's going to
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: have a major impact? No, but I do think that
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: some people would play it and have some fun and
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: it will make you think in a different manner.
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: I think that's incredibly optimistic, which just follow suit for you.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: So I don't think PV or G are going to care,
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: got it. I think they're gonna be like, oh, that's cute. Anyways,
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: I won do you anything to stop me? Oh hey, look,
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: all your creatures did reap because they're exhausted. I didn't
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: need to play creatures. So I still I'm just gonna
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: continue my crazy Myers loop. If that's cool. Okay, we'll see.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: But I think that's all good for tonight. Next week
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: will be a little bit of Portland talk and uh,
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: let's see, we got guys straight next week, So what
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: I said, We will see you all next week. Happy
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: forging everyone, May the Forge be with you.
