Lawrence Gets $400K for Iowa Street Repair | Kansas City News
Lawrence is set to receive $400,000 from the state for a major road upgrade on South Iowa Street—resurfacing, pavement replacement, curb and gutter repairs, and sidewalk ramp fixes—all slated to begin summer 2028. The project, part of Kansas DOT’s City Connecting Link program, will cost over $2 million, with federal funds helping cover the tab.
