- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, well episode fifteen oh one of one lag
- 0:03Speaker 1: Up with Alex Garrett. Well, now America is having one
- 0:07Speaker 1: leg up for Venezuelans and in Venezuela. If you missed it,
- 0:12Speaker 1: here's what the President has to say.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Earlier today, late last night, and early today, at my direction,
- 0:22Speaker 2: the United States Armed Forces conducted an extraordinary military operation
- 0:29Speaker 2: in the capital of Venezuela.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Overwhelming American military power, AirLand and sea was used to
- 0:38Speaker 3: launch a spectacular assault, and it was an assault like
- 0:44Speaker 3: people have not seen since World War Two. Maduro and
- 0:49Speaker 3: Floras have been indicted in the Southern District of New
- 0:53Speaker 3: York Jay Clayton for their campaign of deadly narco terrorism
- 0:59Speaker 3: against the United States States and it's citizens. So we
- 1:03Speaker 3: are going to run the country until such time as
- 1:06Speaker 3: we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition.
- 1:11Speaker 1: There you go, United of America now running Venezuela. And
- 1:15Speaker 1: let me tell you, one of the first people I
- 1:17Speaker 1: saw react to this was, of course our hammer and
- 1:20Speaker 1: sickle mayor Mayor Momdnni telling us this is on unilateral
- 1:25Speaker 1: active war and how.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Can they imprison Meduro? Are you kidding me?
- 1:30Speaker 1: On day three of his mayoral cy, He's already sympathizing
- 1:34Speaker 1: once again with the bad guys. Look, leftists sympathizing with
- 1:38Speaker 1: a dictator says all you need to know about leftists.
- 1:42Speaker 1: They aren't even moderate Democrats. They're leftists, That's all you
- 1:45Speaker 1: need to know when they sympathize with Meduro.
- 1:49Speaker 4: What I did not know how.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Involved Venezuela was on the narco terrorist front until we
- 1:55Speaker 1: started bombing them. And I also because I always thought
- 1:58Speaker 1: they were coming out of China with this fan to know.
- 2:00Speaker 1: But see, I guess everything is connet because my friend
- 2:04Speaker 1: Luke Terminella was telling me off air.
- 2:06Speaker 4: And so for me, this should have been done a
- 2:09Speaker 4: long time ago.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I know we'res to talking about accessibility and everything like that,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but I heard Venezuela's not even accessible for people disabilities.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I mean, the Chavez era should have been the warning
- 2:20Speaker 1: sign that this was going to continue under Madua. Why
- 2:22Speaker 1: didn't we do anything then, because we've had leaders that
- 2:25Speaker 1: were scared to do it or not wanting to, And
- 2:29Speaker 1: even the first Trump presidency I remember Venezuela was on
- 2:33Speaker 1: his mind too, And of course John Bolton with a
- 2:35Speaker 1: notepad of five thousand troops into Venezuela. Everybody said, what's
- 2:39Speaker 1: he talking about? Well, I guess maybe in a way
- 2:42Speaker 1: Bolton was foreshadowing today where we do capture Meduro and
- 2:48Speaker 1: this is almost like the bin Laden moment, minus killing
- 2:51Speaker 1: the guy. Because we got a bad guy off the streets,
- 2:54Speaker 1: we and into our and onto our shores.
- 2:57Speaker 4: That's what today is.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And you might be saying, well, how do you defend
- 3:00Speaker 1: something that might not have been run through Congress? Because
- 3:02Speaker 1: Trump doesn't act like that. He can act with authority
- 3:05Speaker 1: when he feels it's necessary. And obviously, the attacks on
- 3:08Speaker 1: these narco terrorists, who, by the way, Democrats were sympathizing with, Hey,
- 3:12Speaker 1: why didn't.
- 3:13Speaker 4: You preserve the survivor? Are you kidding me?
- 3:16Speaker 1: If he's preserved the survivor, the guy can keep the
- 3:19Speaker 1: network going.
- 3:20Speaker 4: That's why he killed him.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And I'm sorry it sounds so tough on the first
- 3:24Speaker 1: Saturday in January, but I love this. I love that
- 3:28Speaker 1: we're finally moving forward in trying to protect not only
- 3:34Speaker 1: Venezuelan's here, but Venezuelan's there, and finally taking action. It's
- 3:38Speaker 1: one of those moments, almost like those air strikes against ices,
- 3:41Speaker 1: where we're finally taking action and they bring him to
- 3:43Speaker 1: New York. Now, I'm not gonna get a selfie with
- 3:45Speaker 1: Medora if I see, I'm good. I can't stand him
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he's a dictator. But it'll be interesting to see
- 3:50Speaker 1: how it happens here in New York City. And I
- 3:53Speaker 1: love that Trump's bringing him here to for justice, and
- 3:56Speaker 1: I hope, I hope he faces a judge that will
- 4:00Speaker 1: let him off the hook him back to Venezuela. Let's
- 4:01Speaker 1: face it, there are judges here and around the country
- 4:04Speaker 1: that will probably say, well, these strikes are illegal. We
- 4:07Speaker 1: got to do something. And maybe even the judge that
- 4:10Speaker 1: faces Medora will have to you know, I will say
- 4:12Speaker 1: something like that, but we'll have to get there when
- 4:15Speaker 1: we get there.
- 4:15Speaker 4: But for now, this should have been done a long
- 4:18Speaker 4: time ago.
- 4:18Speaker 1: That's what I want to say, is this should have
- 4:20Speaker 1: been done when Chavez was starving as people was the
- 4:27Speaker 1: gas lines, the breadlines, I mean, all of that in
- 4:30Speaker 1: Venezuela many years ago.
- 4:31Speaker 4: This is nothing new.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It's just Trump's finally taking action which other presidents and
- 4:36Speaker 1: maybe Trump won as well, did not do. But I
- 4:40Speaker 1: know back then he was alone. He was still getting
- 4:42Speaker 1: used to Washington, I think at that time, because I
- 4:45Speaker 1: was earlier on his presidency. Now he's got it. He
- 4:48Speaker 1: sees just acting the way he feels he needs to.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And let me tell you, if you sympathize with the
- 4:53Speaker 1: caps are of a drug lord, then you yourself are
- 4:56Speaker 1: sympathizing with a drug lord.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:57Speaker 1: When you say and act like a feeling bad about this,
- 5:02Speaker 1: then you're saying, hey, we should have let the narco
- 5:05Speaker 1: terrorism continue, We should have let our kids die from fentanyl.
- 5:08Speaker 4: Even more. I mean, the whole story about this is
- 5:10Speaker 4: that kids and people are.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Dying from fentanyl in this country, let alone what happens
- 5:15Speaker 1: in Venezuela. And now you're upset we're taking action about it.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Meanwhile you're the ones crying about on social media. Now
- 5:22Speaker 1: the moment went Trump takes action. I swear to god,
- 5:24Speaker 1: if Trump killed bin Laden, he would have been in
- 5:27Speaker 1: hot water for no reason. By you know, Obama did
- 5:31Speaker 1: it because and it was that time, about ten years
- 5:35Speaker 1: after the attacks, and I'm glad he did.
- 5:38Speaker 4: But if Trump did it, he wouldn't have gotten any credit.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But see, if Biden or any of these other folks
- 5:44Speaker 1: that our Democrat had the balls to do this, they
- 5:46Speaker 1: would have gotten credit for capturing Maduro. They would let's
- 5:49Speaker 1: face it, this is because Trump did it. He's not
- 5:51Speaker 1: getting the credit. And I'm tired of seeing this. I'm
- 5:55Speaker 1: tired of seeing these storylines year after year, of these
- 6:00Speaker 1: starving their people, their breadlines, the gas lines, and nothing
- 6:03Speaker 1: being done about it, and everything status quo. Well, Trump
- 6:07Speaker 1: as always interrupting the status quo has been the last
- 6:10Speaker 1: few months. And maybe he Seth was in his ear
- 6:12Speaker 1: about this too, But I'm glad now. I'm sure we'll
- 6:16Speaker 1: get some reaction later like oh my god, the signal
- 6:20Speaker 1: chap blah blah blah blah.
- 6:21Speaker 4: I don't care. We got him. That's the point. He
- 6:23Speaker 4: was on Iwo Jima, going to New York, coming to
- 6:26Speaker 4: our shores. Whoever thought this was happening.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And I have to say, this is the same president
- 6:31Speaker 1: and same government, by the way, that did help the
- 6:34Speaker 1: opposition leader accept her Nobel Prize runner and I'm gonna
- 6:39Speaker 1: get her name right now, but she was the opposition
- 6:42Speaker 1: leader that had to be in disguise, Maria Corino Machado.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Maybe she could take the rightful place as Venezuela's leader,
- 6:51Speaker 1: because remember we gave her protection to go. I think
- 6:55Speaker 1: it was to Oslo to get the Nobel Peace Prize
- 6:57Speaker 1: from Venezuela in disguise, so she wouldn't be killed.
- 7:01Speaker 4: That's how oppressive Medoro is.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And by the way, this comes on the heels of
- 7:06Speaker 1: Trump saying he will shoot I ran down if they
- 7:08Speaker 1: start to attacking the free speech protesters there.
- 7:13Speaker 4: So he's not taking any guff.
- 7:15Speaker 1: He's acting the way he's supposed to, and he's getting
- 7:19Speaker 1: involved where he needs to be. And obviously I think
- 7:23Speaker 1: he wouldn't do it if, you know, if he felt
- 7:25Speaker 1: there was gonna be retribution. But I think we can
- 7:27Speaker 1: handle whatever retribution Venezuela could muster.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Uh.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But this is a sign of trying to clean things up.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And I know he's gonna do that with the Hamas
- 7:37Speaker 1: Israel war. I know he's gonna do that in Russia, Ukraine.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I would love to be tougher on putin a lot
- 7:44Speaker 1: more tougher.
- 7:45Speaker 4: On the guy. But we'll get there when we get there.
- 7:48Speaker 1: But for now, he's being tough ware accounts, and this
- 7:51Speaker 1: capture will help us have one leg up, and even
- 7:54Speaker 1: Venezuelans feel like they have one leg up now because
- 7:57Speaker 1: of this military act and whether it was approved by
- 8:02Speaker 1: Congress or not, whether it's about oil or not is
- 8:05Speaker 1: not the point to me.
- 8:07Speaker 4: It's about how he.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Took saw a moment, took it, captured Maduro and said,
- 8:14Speaker 1: enough's enough. You will not be torturing your people, you
- 8:18Speaker 1: will not be killing your people.
- 8:20Speaker 4: You will not be being.
- 8:21Speaker 1: An outlet for Fendanel to continue to get on our shores. Instead,
- 8:25Speaker 1: we're gonna bring you to our shores and prosecute you
- 8:29Speaker 1: and prosecute you.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Know.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I wish we had Andy mccarth there.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I wish he could prosecute this because he is great
- 8:33Speaker 1: when he prosecutes terrorists and the like. This is an
- 8:36Speaker 1: ARCO terrorist we just got today, not a leader of
- 8:39Speaker 1: a country, a dictator.
- 8:41Speaker 4: So let's not saying he's a leader of a country.
- 8:43Speaker 4: He's a dictator that we captured today, and maybe not
- 8:48Speaker 4: the only one. I don't know. Maybe something will happen
- 8:50Speaker 4: where he gets putin too.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Maybe maybe I can only wish, right, We'll have to
- 8:54Speaker 1: see if that's the next one on the list. But
- 8:56Speaker 1: for now, Venezuelas and being run by our country, and
- 9:01Speaker 1: if you look at the way Trump runs the government,
- 9:03Speaker 1: it is not surprising we can run multiple departments because
- 9:07Speaker 1: we have Rubio running multiple departments. We have Scott Bessen
- 9:11Speaker 1: running multiple departments. Now we're gonna run a multiple multiple countries.
- 9:15Speaker 1: This is where we're at in twenty twenty six. But
- 9:17Speaker 1: I think it's for the better until maybe, just maybe
- 9:20Speaker 1: we can get Maria Carino Machada installed. Now I know
- 9:25Speaker 1: that's a very sensitive word installed, because you know, at
- 9:33Speaker 1: the end of the day, we shouldn't be for regime changes.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I never have thought we should be like that, but
- 9:39Speaker 1: when it comes to protecting people, and I think he
- 9:43Speaker 1: did this for American Venezuelans too. Maybe it's a necessary
- 9:47Speaker 1: thing that had to be done here, and they took
- 9:51Speaker 1: an action when the time is right, earlier this morning,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and I love to see it. Maybe you don't out there,
- 9:59Speaker 1: but I do love to see it. And that's the
- 10:00Speaker 1: way we kick off episode fifteen oh one and now
- 10:03Speaker 1: fifteen hundred plus episodes by commending the president for this
- 10:08Speaker 1: and saying he took the right action, and yes, it
- 10:11Speaker 1: is a regime change, and we shouldn't be always doing this,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but in this case, in this case, we can get
- 10:20Speaker 1: the fentanyl source captured.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I'm all for it.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And if you who have been crying about this for
- 10:27Speaker 1: months on end mourning the loss of those you know,
- 10:32Speaker 1: a loss for families of those who've lost who have
- 10:35Speaker 1: died to fentanyl.
- 10:36Speaker 4: You should be happy about this today. You should be
- 10:39Speaker 4: happy about this.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Regardless who's present, you should be happy the source of
- 10:42Speaker 1: this drug running has been captured. It's a good day,
- 10:48Speaker 1: and we're gonna have one leg up moving forward in
- 10:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty six. I feel like that sets the tone
- 10:52Speaker 1: for the entire year now as how we're gonna you know,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I don't even want to say run interference, but.
- 11:00Speaker 4: The policeman of the world, maybe we have to be.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Maybe we have to be, and we have to, you know,
- 11:06Speaker 1: acknowledge that sometimes these guys have to be captured and
- 11:09Speaker 1: brought to justice once and for all.
- 11:12Speaker 4: That's how we have one leg up for humanity.
