- 0:50Speaker 3: I hope you are.
- 0:52Speaker 2: There's a dating expert that says these three pickup lines
- 0:55Speaker 2: actually work. We were talking about how to get a
- 0:58Speaker 2: number these days, like how do you get a number?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Do you put your bump your phones together and it
- 1:01Speaker 2: just transfers to you, open up contacts and it plus
- 1:04Speaker 2: and have them put in their name, Like, what what
- 1:06Speaker 2: do you do to get a number?
- 1:07Speaker 3: These days?
- 1:08Speaker 2: These are the pickup lines that right now, in today's
- 1:10Speaker 2: times actually work.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I'm very curious.
- 1:13Speaker 2: That's three right, So stick around for that, all right, Kate?
- 1:18Speaker 2: So what's going on with you and your boyfriend's mom?
- 1:21Speaker 2: What's the problem here?
- 1:23Speaker 3: So?
- 1:24Speaker 5: I recently moved in with my boyfriend and he told
- 1:28Speaker 5: me that his mom is going to be visiting for
- 1:29Speaker 5: a week, which I was obviously fine with, but now
- 1:32Speaker 5: he has to travel for work that week, and he
- 1:34Speaker 5: just volunteered me to host her and take her around
- 1:37Speaker 5: for the week. And we got into this huge fight
- 1:39Speaker 5: about it, and he thinks that I don't like his mom,
- 1:41Speaker 5: But that's not it. I just think that his mom
- 1:43Speaker 5: should reschedule for when he's in towns that it could
- 1:46Speaker 5: spend time together.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Wow, that's this is gonna be an interesting one. I
- 1:52Speaker 2: can't wait to see how this all works out with
- 1:54Speaker 2: the years and years to come.
- 1:56Speaker 1: How long have you been with your boyfriend?
- 1:59Speaker 6: Three years?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Okay? So what mean you gotta suck it up and
- 2:03Speaker 1: host the mama?
- 2:07Speaker 2: I mean, this is what you do in relationships. Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 2: you can't deny a mom.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Do you not want to hang out with her? Like,
- 2:13Speaker 1: did you not like her?
- 2:15Speaker 5: It's not it's not that I just think that he's
- 2:18Speaker 5: going to be He won't be there at all, So
- 2:20Speaker 5: she was coming to visit him.
- 2:22Speaker 1: This is bonding time.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the uncomfortable bonding time. So what you
- 2:26Speaker 2: do comfortable? Yeah, because I've got I've got to be
- 2:28Speaker 2: with parents for the first time, and I have pockets
- 2:30Speaker 2: of topics in my pocket to spontaneously bring up.
- 2:35Speaker 3: That'll just cause some fodder.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Like you know, for example, you'll be hauling her around
- 2:39Speaker 2: to what the Hollywood Bowl?
- 2:41Speaker 3: Where are you going?
- 2:44Speaker 5: Just around town? She's been to La like once, so was.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Gonnaud prepare yourself for some conversation and then try not
- 2:55Speaker 2: to have a lull where she has a break in
- 2:58Speaker 2: the action to turn to you and say, how do
- 3:00Speaker 2: you really feel about my son or any of that
- 3:02Speaker 2: awful stuff.
- 3:03Speaker 3: You know, you don't want.
- 3:04Speaker 1: To awful stuff.
- 3:06Speaker 7: She's not ask that.
- 3:08Speaker 2: You don't You don't you known know a lot of
- 3:11Speaker 2: a lot of parents do, Yeah, because you don't want
- 3:14Speaker 2: to create that space. So come up to the list
- 3:16Speaker 2: of things. You get the Zoo Gaddy Center. One of
- 3:18Speaker 2: brothers studios tour, look up one of brothers, the history
- 3:20Speaker 2: of it.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Tell that story. That'll take some time.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I mean, really do some research so that you can
- 3:25Speaker 2: create this natural conversation.
- 3:27Speaker 8: Okay, I think it'll be fine, and try to make
- 3:30Speaker 8: it fun and just try to enjoy the moment with
- 3:32Speaker 8: her and get to know her, build that relationship.
- 3:37Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Zip down to Lakma the museum.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Zip the grove is over there. Zip to the grove.
- 3:45Speaker 8: I mean, although in a museum is very quiet that
- 3:48Speaker 8: she can't talk, I know it.
- 3:49Speaker 3: That's good news, I guess.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay. So I'm like, there's a lot of
- 3:53Speaker 1: dead air.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You're like heels clacking.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And he can't talk. We're in the museum.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm taking this painting and shush, Kate.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Good luck.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I think it'll be fine. You gotta get along with
- 4:06Speaker 2: the mom. You gotta do some qt.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I think so too.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yes, let's a bounce to another staff member backstage here, Mikayla,
- 4:14Speaker 2: is it true that you got a dog with five
- 4:16Speaker 2: people in your dog sharing basis?
- 4:18Speaker 1: Is true?
- 4:19Speaker 3: So it's a bad idea.
- 4:20Speaker 1: That's what I told her, And then I also said,
- 4:21Speaker 1: what do you talk about this on the radio.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Sounds like it's great in terms of covering responsibilities.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But whose dog is it? Like dog needs a best friend?
- 4:28Speaker 9: Yes, so it's mostly our friend Sam's dog.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Look, that doesn't work mostly, but listen to this. Here's
- 4:34Speaker 1: the twist.
- 4:35Speaker 9: He's a nurse, so she works overnights, so a lot
- 4:38Speaker 9: of the times we do the nighttime and then she'll
- 4:41Speaker 9: pick him up, she'll drop him off before she goes
- 4:43Speaker 9: to work and then pick him up in the mornings.
- 4:44Speaker 9: But we're always together anyway. And he's eleven years old.
- 4:49Speaker 9: He's a Chihuahua. He has a snaggle tooth. He's so
- 4:51Speaker 9: stinking cute, so sweet, and we fell in love with him.
- 4:54Speaker 9: And he was in a kill shelter and we met
- 4:59Speaker 9: found him at the l S Trading Post and it
- 5:01Speaker 9: was foster to adopt and we really couldn't say no.
- 5:04Speaker 9: And he has been trying to find a home since
- 5:06Speaker 9: last year.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And so it is a great idea, this great idea, Yeah, exactly.
- 5:11Speaker 2: The only thing. The only thing I'm suggesting here is
- 5:16Speaker 2: you're gonna get possessive.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I mean, you're you're gonna get possessive.
- 5:20Speaker 8: Like, no, it's my time, but Michaela has the overnight
- 5:23Speaker 8: shift because, as you know, because we watched the pit
- 5:25Speaker 8: at a twelve hour plus shift and so she's right here.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Gray's anatomy show some respect?
- 5:35Speaker 8: Okay, what im talking about?
- 5:39Speaker 2: You're gonna get possessive. I love the rest of the dog.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Tony's got me burping onions. I didn't even want to
- 5:43Speaker 2: have took a break.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Does that make you want to burb?
- 5:47Speaker 2: I don't know, indigestion p pickup lines that really work?
- 5:52Speaker 2: They actually do. Next a kiss if you're single, all
- 5:54Speaker 2: right of the day, coming up here in a second,
- 5:56Speaker 2: right now, This is like real stuff. You're going out
- 5:59Speaker 2: tonight and you're single and you want to pick up line?
- 6:01Speaker 2: They say these actually work. Well, they're three. First one,
- 6:05Speaker 2: I couldn't help, but notice you have a stunning smile
- 6:07Speaker 2: and I couldn't leave without coming over to introduce myself.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I think that's great. Yeah, so then what do you do?
- 6:14Speaker 2: Hopefully it works?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Right?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Is that how you would say it like? With that tone?
- 6:17Speaker 1: Can you please read it like as if you were
- 6:20Speaker 1: actually doing to do it?
- 6:22Speaker 3: All right?
- 6:22Speaker 2: Uh? I'm sorry to bother you, but I I couldn't help,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but notice you have a stunning, like most beautiful smile,
- 6:30Speaker 2: and I didn't want to leave without coming over to
- 6:32Speaker 2: say hi.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And then you know that I have more.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Okay, keep going.
- 6:40Speaker 2: The next one, you are way too cute to be
- 6:43Speaker 2: waiting alone?
- 6:44Speaker 3: Can I buy you a drink? I don't love that
- 6:46Speaker 3: one so much?
- 6:49Speaker 1: A little cheesy?
- 6:50Speaker 3: It's cheesy, all right?
- 6:50Speaker 2: The final one, they say, dating experts, dating coaches say,
- 6:53Speaker 2: these work these days. You look so familiar. Has it
- 6:56Speaker 2: anybody ever told you look like insert celebrity name here?
- 6:59Speaker 2: She's here, she's my celebrity crush. So I had to come.
- 7:01Speaker 8: And say hi, telling them that their celebrity crushes a
- 7:04Speaker 8: little direct, But I think it's I like the comparing
- 7:08Speaker 8: them to a celebrity.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but then I mean, would you not be enamored
- 7:11Speaker 3: by that? I think I would be.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Do you know why I think these three are working
- 7:15Speaker 4: is because they're direct, And I feel like a lot
- 7:17Speaker 4: of people these days, with the way they flirt or
- 7:19Speaker 4: approach people is like, are they from here?
- 7:23Speaker 7: Right?
- 7:25Speaker 2: Well, they're on record to be working these days. Today's
- 7:28Speaker 2: quote the people you attract reflect the wounds you need
- 7:32Speaker 2: to heal.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Judge a mental I mean she's very, very touchy.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Today, Judge Judy over there, don't bring up the pit
- 7:45Speaker 2: one A two point seven Kiss FM. All right, Tanya,
- 7:47Speaker 2: let's get to the headlines. What's happening this morning? Kiss
- 7:50Speaker 2: FM Headlines with Tanya rad Well.
- 7:53Speaker 4: A Torrance man has been charged with trying to extort
- 7:56Speaker 4: bitcoin from Savannah Guthrie's family after their mother's disappe apearance,
- 8:00Speaker 4: though it does not appear he's connected to the kidnapping.
- 8:03Speaker 4: The Orange County Sheriff's Department is warning the public about
- 8:06Speaker 4: distraction theft crimes. At ATMs, Taylor Swift dropped the brand
- 8:11Speaker 4: new video for Opalite. You can check it out now
- 8:13Speaker 4: at Taylorswift dot com. And the Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford
- 8:17Speaker 4: was named the twenty twenty five NFL MVP and announced
- 8:21Speaker 4: that he will be back with the Rams next year
- 8:23Speaker 4: at age thirty eight.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Dating apps in AI they're now merging.
- 8:28Speaker 1: At first it was simple.
- 8:29Speaker 8: There was things were like back in twenty nineteen, bumblewood, blur,
- 8:33Speaker 8: inappropriate photos, things like that cut to Tinder now recently
- 8:37Speaker 8: announcing an AI photos selector tool that scans your photos
- 8:40Speaker 8: and picks the best picks for your profile, so it's
- 8:43Speaker 8: kind of like a helper things like that.
- 8:46Speaker 1: But check this out. Have you heard of the riz app?
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm sure you haven't because you're kind riiz.
- 8:53Speaker 8: So you can upload a screenshot of the DM conversation
- 8:57Speaker 8: that you're having in whatever or other dating app that
- 9:01Speaker 8: you're on, and it'll suggest ways for you to respond
- 9:05Speaker 8: to those dms, kind of like what Sierra and I
- 9:09Speaker 8: did for Tanya when she was first DM and Robbie
- 9:12Speaker 8: blessed and she didn't know what to say, So that
- 9:14Speaker 8: was an AI that was like friend intelligence. So I
- 9:18Speaker 8: think that this is a great tool when you're kind
- 9:21Speaker 8: of stuck in that beginning, like what do I say?
- 9:23Speaker 8: I don't want to blow it? What's a good thing
- 9:25Speaker 8: to say?
- 9:26Speaker 2: But you're not showing who you are or your personality
- 9:30Speaker 2: sense of humor.
- 9:31Speaker 4: But that's fine, because you meet someone on a dating app,
- 9:34Speaker 4: you talk to them for like a couple hours, and
- 9:35Speaker 4: then you meet in real life and you have to
- 9:36Speaker 4: be yourself, you know what I mean.
- 9:40Speaker 8: It could be it could be a slippery slope because
- 9:43Speaker 8: then you if you continue this with every single DM conversation,
- 9:46Speaker 8: then you are essentially talking to the AI version of yourself.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Like the AI versus is going to be better than
- 9:53Speaker 2: I am anyway, So maybe I should take some lessons.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I'm saying it's a tool.
- 9:56Speaker 8: We're already kind of using it with our everyday lives
- 9:58Speaker 8: when we ask it suggestions things that we should do
- 10:01Speaker 8: for the weekend.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Spitball here. You know, I'm not getting any younger. Which
- 10:07Speaker 2: one would you say I should go on? If I
- 10:09Speaker 2: were to go on a dating app, Rya, Raya or
- 10:13Speaker 2: maybe Hinge?
- 10:14Speaker 1: I hear, I hear great things.
- 10:16Speaker 7: I think you should get on.
- 10:17Speaker 1: My brother and his now fiance met on Hinge.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Can you get on both?
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yes, you can get on both. You can get on
- 10:24Speaker 4: all the dating apps if you wanted.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I love fun. So you want you ever did one
- 10:28Speaker 3: of these dating apps? No?
- 10:31Speaker 10: But my friends are trying to get me to do
- 10:33Speaker 10: it because I have mine to Yeah, which I mean,
- 10:36Speaker 10: if you do it, I'll do it.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Well, I'm not trying to date you.
- 10:38Speaker 10: I'm just want to know if you take the plunge?
- 10:43Speaker 3: Then which one? Which one would we want?
- 10:45Speaker 10: I've heard good things about Hinge. Well, and then there's
- 10:49Speaker 10: another one called Coffee meets Bagel that like.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Yeah, friends, Coffee meets a pay.
- 10:54Speaker 10: Yeah, they I know at least two or three, like
- 10:57Speaker 10: actual marriages from.
- 10:59Speaker 3: That Keish Meat's bacon? Is that any good? Any that
- 11:05Speaker 3: I like? Keish Meat's bacon?
- 11:08Speaker 2: All right, finds we'll talk about this separately in the
- 11:10Speaker 2: pre show post show meeting.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I think it'll be fun.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Ryan, Wait, No, coming up next, Ariane Grande tickets. You're
- 11:18Speaker 2: on Kiss one of two point seven Kiss up them Hi,
- 11:22Speaker 2: Los Angeles, Southern California, listening worldwide across the country and.
- 11:26Speaker 3: The iHeartRadio app.
- 11:28Speaker 2: So on social media, a lot of people talking about, hey,
- 11:31Speaker 2: how is your mental health not great?
- 11:33Speaker 3: Why? Because of my social media? Uh?
- 11:36Speaker 2: And so they put a list of things, a bunch
- 11:40Speaker 2: of things you can do that are sort of non
- 11:41Speaker 2: therapy things to improve your mental health.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I want to run through these and see what you think.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Okay, So I want Avon says, I do little favors
- 11:50Speaker 2: for myself. Future me will love waking up to a
- 11:55Speaker 2: clean room, fresh leftovers, fresh laundry. So she does little
- 12:00Speaker 2: things for herself, Fine, she feels good. Just chores, Yeah, chores, right, page.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I like this one page doesn't say I'm sorry for
- 12:10Speaker 2: everything like I'm always I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I'm sorry,
- 12:14Speaker 2: min your way.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Can I get it? I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Are you using that bench track? I'm so sorry using
- 12:19Speaker 2: that way?
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry. To stop it.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to because Page says not apologizing for
- 12:24Speaker 2: things is a game changer. You don't have to be
- 12:27Speaker 2: sorry for everything. Yeah, all right, Louis says, all those
- 12:31Speaker 2: things I've been saving for a special occasion.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I do him now. Good for your mental health?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I can see that.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Complimenting a random person. Zoe says, I made my room
- 12:41Speaker 2: comfortable with warm and lightning.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I like that.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Becca says saying no. Saying no is so powerful for
- 12:49Speaker 2: mental health. Right, stop watching the news. That's another one
- 12:56Speaker 2: that's better for mental health. Kendall says, saying braid before
- 13:00Speaker 2: doing anything that makes me nervous.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I can see that. Talk little pep.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Talk, McKenzie.
- 13:08Speaker 2: These are people that are tapping into hell improved mental
- 13:12Speaker 2: health out therapy. Mackenzie says, do not disturb Lily twenty
- 13:16Speaker 2: four to seven.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Oh, like, she has her do not disturb on her
- 13:19Speaker 1: phone she's.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Wearing around her head.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and wells says, don't rush, slow it down.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I am a rusher.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I am a full time rusher, so I want to
- 13:33Speaker 2: still a tallegate.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That's all stress.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I want to two seven.
- 13:37Speaker 2: If you want to add to this or send us
- 13:38Speaker 2: a talk back inside the IET radio, I mean I
- 13:40Speaker 2: can do that.
- 13:42Speaker 3: When I take an uber, I like to interview the driver.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I like to ask the questions, ask them where they're from,
- 13:49Speaker 2: how long they've been doing it?
- 13:50Speaker 8: Oh?
- 13:50Speaker 11: No?
- 13:51Speaker 3: Like what day?
- 13:52Speaker 2: I also like, I want to know what are the
- 13:53Speaker 2: busiest times and who are the most challenging types of
- 13:57Speaker 2: people that you drive? Is it a couple? Is somebody
- 14:02Speaker 2: that they pick up the airport? Is it you know,
- 14:04Speaker 2: some from here or not here?
- 14:06Speaker 4: Like?
- 14:06Speaker 3: Are they tourists or not tourist?
- 14:07Speaker 1: I think right? Do they prefer a longer trip is
- 14:10Speaker 1: a shorter trip?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:11Speaker 2: I usually get them to lose interest in my questions
- 14:13Speaker 2: about a quarterway through the conversation. Not the idea, but anyway,
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm interested. I've also left things in my uber. The
- 14:20Speaker 2: most significant was a backpack full of I think books, books,
- 14:29Speaker 2: well books, and I tried you ever tried to get
- 14:31Speaker 2: into the app to find the lost thing I have lost.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I've left my phone before and I was able to
- 14:35Speaker 1: get it back.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I could not get to any place where I get
- 14:39Speaker 2: to anything to get me to get it back. No,
- 14:42Speaker 2: it just was an endless rabbit hole of not getting there.
- 14:45Speaker 7: My favorite block.
- 14:46Speaker 8: The reason the reason they put this list out is
- 14:49Speaker 8: to promote how easy it is to contact Uber to
- 14:53Speaker 8: get your loss.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Because I've left stuff and it was just a backpack.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Now that user error, Okay, well you are not. I'm
- 15:01Speaker 2: very hopeful.
- 15:01Speaker 8: You're just not very techy. I'm being honest. I just
- 15:04Speaker 8: feel like it's very.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Other people with me trying to help me that are
- 15:09Speaker 4: very techy, very like tech on tech.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You go into the venues and the this and the
- 15:13Speaker 1: that help it guides you.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Anyways, all right, Well they put out a list of
- 15:17Speaker 2: some lost and found items.
- 15:18Speaker 3: These are kind of ridiculous, aren't they.
- 15:19Speaker 8: These are the most unique lost in founds. So this
- 15:21Speaker 8: is not going to be like your phone's your wall
- 15:22Speaker 8: at your keys. This is going to be random stuff.
- 15:25Speaker 8: And the list was long. There's like fifty items on
- 15:28Speaker 8: this list. So here are the most memorable ones. A
- 15:30Speaker 8: mannequin head with human hair.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Why is that unique?
- 15:34Speaker 7: Why is it so weird?
- 15:35Speaker 1: That is very strange.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Well, sometimes you don't travel alone Okay, I about this one.
- 15:41Speaker 8: Shrek ears weird. Somebody left divorce papers behind. This one
- 15:46Speaker 8: is a tragedy as a mother breast milk because you
- 15:49Speaker 8: work so hard to pump that milk out. And if
- 15:51Speaker 8: I would have left that an uberul have Do you
- 15:54Speaker 8: think they.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Got the rest back? That seems like something the driver
- 15:56Speaker 2: definitely want to get back.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I would hope so.
- 15:58Speaker 8: But sometimes you don't realize it because then they'll go
- 16:00Speaker 8: pick up somebody else, and somebody else, somebody else in
- 16:01Speaker 8: there for hours.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah, who knows.
- 16:04Speaker 3: A live turtle, I'm not surprised.
- 16:07Speaker 1: And how about ten live lobsters.
- 16:10Speaker 3: They're all very slow. How did you guys get out
- 16:12Speaker 3: of at this?
- 16:16Speaker 1: I think they're all in there with their seatbelts.
- 16:18Speaker 3: On a live turtle not moving fast.
- 16:20Speaker 8: Well, apparently a lot of food is left behind, and
- 16:23Speaker 8: I can see this. Maybe you get picked up from
- 16:25Speaker 8: like a big party and they're like, hey, take this
- 16:27Speaker 8: tray of whatever, and you know, and then you forget
- 16:30Speaker 8: because you're drunk. One hundred and seventy five hamburger sliders
- 16:33Speaker 8: were left behind once in an uber boneus.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Would you eat them?
- 16:37Speaker 4: No?
- 16:37Speaker 3: They were untouched.
- 16:38Speaker 8: I mean maybe twenty four cans of corn, random, a
- 16:43Speaker 8: five gallon bucket of beans, and a bucket of feta cheese,
- 16:47Speaker 8: all just lost, left behind. And then they listed the
- 16:52Speaker 8: ten most forgettable cities, and of course la is.
- 16:54Speaker 1: On the list, but we weren't number one.
- 16:56Speaker 8: New York actually came in first, followed by Miami, Chicago,
- 16:59Speaker 8: and then Los Angeles and then Washington, d C.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I whaton if that New York? Because there are more
- 17:04Speaker 2: other more ubers there.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Maybe there's like more yeah Rustle and Bustle.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Yeah, uh well, we've all lost something less something. However,
- 17:14Speaker 2: I do consider to be one of the greatest inventions
- 17:17Speaker 2: of our time.
- 17:17Speaker 7: Yeah yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 2: And do you know that uber eats will bring you
- 17:22Speaker 2: things from the store that aren't eats?
- 17:24Speaker 4: Yes?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Yes, how about eyelashes delivered to me?
- 17:30Speaker 3: I've never done that. There's always a week id Behead
- 17:34Speaker 3: on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I top Google searches in February? Who won Album of
- 17:45Speaker 2: the Year? What time does super Bowl start? We're gonna
- 17:49Speaker 2: watch the Grammys? And how tall is Kendrick Lamar?
- 17:52Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 17:53Speaker 1: I definitely google who want one?
- 17:55Speaker 3: Why those are the top Googles?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Not tall? It's Kendrick Lamar five five.
- 18:01Speaker 3: How tall is he?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Five five five?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm like twice his height.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Okay, like three inches cellar, excuse me.
- 18:07Speaker 3: I'm five.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Five and Lenny Kravitz heels. Len Kravitz wear heels. I
- 18:17Speaker 2: should get those up. Be six feet tall.
- 18:19Speaker 8: My dad has a few shoes, like a boot that
- 18:21Speaker 8: has like a good chunky heel.
- 18:22Speaker 3: D Kravitz my heel up?
- 18:24Speaker 1: Why not?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Why not?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Wait all the time?
- 18:27Speaker 3: Come on? Good morning? How are you?
- 18:30Speaker 6: Good morning? How are you well?
- 18:32Speaker 3: I'm right five right?
- 18:35Speaker 2: So your friend, I'm just reading the screen here. Your
- 18:38Speaker 2: friend will not introduce you to her boyfriend?
- 18:41Speaker 3: What gives?
- 18:42Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 18:43Speaker 6: So she's been seeing this guy for like six months
- 18:45Speaker 6: or so I think, and she still hasn't introduced him
- 18:48Speaker 6: to me or any of our other friends yet, like
- 18:50Speaker 6: in our friend group, and she just always has an
- 18:52Speaker 6: excuse like, oh, he's working late or he's out of town,
- 18:55Speaker 6: like I don't know, like and I've only seen a
- 18:57Speaker 6: couple of pictures of them too, so I don't know, Like,
- 19:01Speaker 6: I just really want to meet him because I feel
- 19:02Speaker 6: like I don't know anything about him.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Why is she being so protective?
- 19:09Speaker 6: I don't know, it's not She's not usually like this,
- 19:12Speaker 6: and so it's like and I really just don't know
- 19:14Speaker 6: anything about him to even know, like why she's not
- 19:17Speaker 6: introducing us?
- 19:18Speaker 3: Do you think maybe it's not going to be the
- 19:20Speaker 3: long run?
- 19:22Speaker 6: Well, when I ask her, she always says that he
- 19:24Speaker 6: is the one.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Does he have social media?
- 19:28Speaker 11: No?
- 19:28Speaker 6: And she never posts him on social media either. She
- 19:30Speaker 6: posted one picture of them like holding hands, like you
- 19:33Speaker 6: know that you can see their hands hold right? Other
- 19:35Speaker 6: than that, she yeah, exactly, but she doesn't post like she.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Introduced him to other friends in the circle.
- 19:43Speaker 6: As far as I know.
- 19:44Speaker 3: No, all right, so she's not like just singling you out.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Maybe she's just trying to keep this to make sure
- 19:51Speaker 2: it's the real thing before she does the parade of
- 19:53Speaker 2: front Like who does she think she is?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Taylor Swift? Like why, like have.
- 19:58Speaker 3: You ever asked her that does she think she Taylor?
- 20:02Speaker 5: No?
- 20:02Speaker 1: I haven't, Like, is she uber famous?
- 20:04Speaker 4: And she wants to keep on your Did she do
- 20:07Speaker 4: this like with a previous person that she dated and
- 20:09Speaker 4: she made such a big deal of it and was
- 20:10Speaker 4: telling everybody about it and then it ended up burning her.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Maybe she's just like going the complete opposite way.
- 20:17Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Don't take personal friend before. Yeah, it's gonna come around.
- 20:21Speaker 2: It's gonna be. It's gonna be.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I don't know if.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Well, sometimes you like to keep stuff for yourself, like
- 20:26Speaker 2: I haven't. I haven't introduced you to everybody. Always up
- 20:29Speaker 2: front we should WHOA, Well, I haven't because I keep
- 20:33Speaker 2: some things for myself till it's time.
- 20:35Speaker 3: That's what would be happening here.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Can we share everything with each other?
- 20:38Speaker 2: Well, we do, but we do it at the right time.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Timing all right, Jenna, I like the cheese in love.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Let's get to meet this guy at the right time.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. I wouldn't make that a deal break
- 20:49Speaker 2: or a big issue. Now, all day, all day, all
- 20:55Speaker 2: the hits, all the time. Originating out of La So High.
- 21:00Speaker 2: You get it in Orange County, Vincia County, you get
- 21:02Speaker 2: it all over the country, you get it all over
- 21:04Speaker 2: the world on iHeartRadio. But it originates from Los Angeles,
- 21:09Speaker 2: the entertainment capital, the mosaic of cultures, best restaurants, food,
- 21:16Speaker 2: that's just where we are people, those two. So there's
- 21:23Speaker 2: a new trend that I'm reading about. I didn't read
- 21:27Speaker 2: the whole thing, but basically they're calling it micro retiring, right,
- 21:32Speaker 2: micro retiring.
- 21:33Speaker 8: Yes, it's having a moment right now. It's exactly what
- 21:37Speaker 8: it kind of sounds like. It's stepping away from your career,
- 21:40Speaker 8: your job for an extended break and then eventually going
- 21:46Speaker 8: back to it when you're ready, or when you're done
- 21:48Speaker 8: with your micro retirement, you take a hiatus, yes, sabbatical
- 21:54Speaker 8: or something like that. It's kind of like right now
- 21:58Speaker 8: we are grinding and working, and essentially you retire when
- 22:02Speaker 8: you're sixty five, right oh yeah, yeah, So people are thinking,
- 22:07Speaker 8: why wait until we're sixty five to kind of do
- 22:11Speaker 8: some of the things on our bucket list that we
- 22:13Speaker 8: want to do, whether it's traveling and this, you know,
- 22:17Speaker 8: maybe starting a family, but like not having that crazy
- 22:20Speaker 8: work life. So it's a micro retirement and then eventually
- 22:24Speaker 8: you go back to your career.
- 22:26Speaker 1: When you're ready, assuming that you can jump right back in.
- 22:30Speaker 3: And it's not an yeah, I'm just playing this out here.
- 22:33Speaker 2: So if we took a micro retirement for a year,
- 22:37Speaker 2: I think they'd replace.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It, I would think. So I don't think this works
- 22:42Speaker 1: for every job for sure.
- 22:45Speaker 3: People forget about us in about a week.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 22:49Speaker 3: So what if we micro.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Retire and just do like the eight o'clock hour or something,
- 22:57Speaker 2: you know, so just do one hour at micro time.
- 23:00Speaker 8: It's not really like retiring, because I think the whole
- 23:02Speaker 8: point is to have days and weeks and months.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Where you just are not doing your job.
- 23:08Speaker 3: You guys, fine, perfect, I got it.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Why do you guys do three weeks and I'll do
- 23:12Speaker 2: one a month and I'll micro retire.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I'm you know, I'm up there.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I feel like that's not don't work.
- 23:20Speaker 8: I don't know that it would work, but I mean
- 23:23Speaker 8: it's the whole thing of like breaking the cycle of burnout.
- 23:26Speaker 8: Does everyone feel that eventually at some point in their lives?
- 23:30Speaker 5: Oh?
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 23:31Speaker 8: And then by the time we all are supposed to retire,
- 23:34Speaker 8: are we going to be too tired to.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Do the things we wanted to do? Why? Wait?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah, So it's an interesting take on it.
- 23:41Speaker 8: But if I guess, if you can have the flexibility
- 23:43Speaker 8: to do this, by all means yeah.
- 23:47Speaker 3: This is interesting. Montabello. Lorena brings it to our attension.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Is there a difference in saying to your significant other
- 23:56Speaker 2: I love you versus love you?
- 23:58Speaker 3: Go ahead, Lorena.
- 24:01Speaker 11: Yeah, my boyfriend and I got in a huge fight
- 24:03Speaker 11: over that last night, and I seemed silly, but I
- 24:06Speaker 11: feel like I don't know. I always try to say
- 24:10Speaker 11: I love you, and he just says love you, which
- 24:12Speaker 11: feels like dismisses and casual to me. And I I've
- 24:18Speaker 11: heard him say I love you is to like his
- 24:20Speaker 11: friends and his family with a sister, I.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Mean Santa, a buddy in mine named Bobby Kotik b K.
- 24:32Speaker 2: So I'm at dinner on Friday night out in the
- 24:35Speaker 2: in the wood on the Hollywood look Great and I
- 24:40Speaker 2: came up and I hugged him. I said, it's been
- 24:43Speaker 2: a minute. And when I walked away to sit down
- 24:45Speaker 2: my table, I said, love you, bro, love you.
- 24:48Speaker 3: So I can't what's what we say now?
- 24:52Speaker 2: I also have from one recently say I love you,
- 24:55Speaker 2: and then I just kind of go, this is great,
- 24:58Speaker 2: isn't it?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Because I don't want to say it back.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I love you is way more intimate.
- 25:04Speaker 3: For sure, But how do you not say it.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Like I say love you to you guys like I'm
- 25:09Speaker 4: leaving and I'll be like, bye, I love you guys?
- 25:11Speaker 2: Well, what is I love you and you don't want
- 25:13Speaker 2: to say that back? What do you say?
- 25:15Speaker 3: Love? Love a Friday? I love green Bye, I love pastries.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I'm with you. It's more intimate now what he needs
- 25:27Speaker 2: to do. And I try and remind myself regularly to
- 25:31Speaker 2: do this beginning of the week end of the week. Hey, Tanya, Yes,
- 25:38Speaker 2: come for a second. Let's put to put down your back, okay,
- 25:42Speaker 2: before you go to work. I just want to tell
- 25:44Speaker 2: you how much I love you. I just want to
- 25:47Speaker 2: say it and just think about that and feel that
- 25:50Speaker 2: to take it back head off the work, you.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Gotta like make it a thing.
- 25:54Speaker 7: So sweet.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Hey, I'm sweet, I'm sweet, Like this is it? This
- 25:58Speaker 3: is sweet.
- 26:00Speaker 1: That's cute, But like you.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Got to like stop in your tracks because if it's
- 26:05Speaker 2: going to be something dramatic and all of.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You can't tell him to love her like that. He
- 26:11Speaker 1: needs to just do it.
- 26:14Speaker 11: Yeah, And I can't ask him to say that.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Maybe yeah, I mean, we know the guy and loves you.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Just didn't like saying it. Some guy's getting a little
- 26:23Speaker 2: weirded about saying it.
- 26:26Speaker 8: Just saying more than almost like a brainwashing to say
- 26:30Speaker 8: I love you.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Never ever been like in a moment with somebody and
- 26:34Speaker 2: they're like, I love you. I mean I don't mean
- 26:37Speaker 2: like that, but I just said it in a moment.
- 26:40Speaker 1: No I feel like back in the day, for.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Sure happens me sometimes.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I think my husband after the first date, it.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Was like they're loving a moment, but then I love you.
- 26:52Speaker 2: But then they're like, you know what I mean? So funny,
- 26:56Speaker 2: so fun All right, well, Lorna, we love you. Get
- 27:00Speaker 2: this guy to thank you.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Tell him you he loves you. All right, good luck,
- 27:05Speaker 3: thank you.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I do a lot of you know, when people text you,
- 27:11Speaker 2: I do miss you love us. I don't read the text.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I just respond with miss you love.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Us, miss you love us.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Like for dudes, my bros, I love us, I love
- 27:22Speaker 2: our miss you love us.
- 27:24Speaker 7: I like your your big hugs.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yeah, big hugs.
- 27:27Speaker 7: I do that A good one. Solid Air with Seacrest.
- 27:33Speaker 2: So this popped up on BuzzFeed, and I love it.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Seems like a fun conversation that we could have here,
- 27:41Speaker 2: perfectly common things that some people find disgusting, and some
- 27:46Speaker 2: people don't think twice about these things. So I just
- 27:48Speaker 2: want to ask you, Nan Tianya, these things bother you.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Other people flossing in front of you that doesn't bother me.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Neither does it bother me if it were to like
- 28:01Speaker 1: flick onto like the mirror.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Maybe Oh my gosh, get the chunks out right.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I mean that would be next.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Level runny eggs. People find it discussed.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Oh I love them.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I like them running too. Yeah, I like a runny
- 28:15Speaker 2: egg on top of my pizza. Nobody else does.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I love a running egg on top of the pizza.
- 28:21Speaker 8: I was just thinking about like another person eating a
- 28:24Speaker 8: runny egg.
- 28:25Speaker 1: That kind of grosses me out.
- 28:26Speaker 7: I don't think I've ever tried a runny egg.
- 28:27Speaker 11: Like.
- 28:27Speaker 8: I love runny eggs, But if Tanya was like slurping
- 28:31Speaker 8: it off her fork, that would kind of.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Gross me out.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Why are you slurping your running egg? I don't know.
- 28:35Speaker 7: I've been scrambling them lately.
- 28:37Speaker 3: As for the smell, Oh well, how generous.
- 28:40Speaker 7: I thank you.
- 28:42Speaker 2: How do you feel a lot of people are disgusted
- 28:43Speaker 2: by belly buttons? How do you feel about belly buttons?
- 28:47Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 28:47Speaker 1: I don't want to want to go, like touch somebody
- 28:49Speaker 1: else's belly button.
- 28:50Speaker 7: I'm pretty weirded out by them too.
- 28:52Speaker 3: I play with mine, you do, Uh huh?
- 28:55Speaker 1: I hope it's clean.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Well, it's that's why I'm playing with it. I play
- 28:59Speaker 2: with it after it's clear. But it's an inny so
- 29:02Speaker 2: I can get in.
- 29:02Speaker 1: There, and you can get in there.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I can play Where's My Finger? You know that game,
- 29:08Speaker 3: popular belly button game.
- 29:10Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Uh, Well, these are discussing things, that's what it's all about.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Well, if you're getting there, a lot of people are
- 29:16Speaker 2: discussing by bare feet.
- 29:18Speaker 8: Are you certain people's bare feet could discuss me?
- 29:22Speaker 1: It just depends on.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Oh that's true, anybody else's bare feet?
- 29:27Speaker 3: Gross?
- 29:28Speaker 8: Yeah, Like I don't like to be touched, like even
- 29:31Speaker 8: my kids. I still cut my kids toenails, right, and
- 29:34Speaker 8: I was cutting maxims and I was like.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You've got to stop soon, Like you're gonna have to.
- 29:38Speaker 8: I don't know that I could touch your feet anymore.
- 29:40Speaker 1: It's gonna be seven.
- 29:41Speaker 4: I see a barefoot at an airport, I'm like, why
- 29:44Speaker 4: are you looking at a bear's foot?
- 29:45Speaker 8: A bare foot at the airport is like next.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Level discussing the airport and look at their feet. That
- 29:52Speaker 2: is not Okay, let's go do it for us. We're
- 29:56Speaker 2: gonna roll out. I have a great weekend. I'll talk
- 29:59Speaker 2: to you this weekend. An American Top forty. We'll count

- 30:09Speaker 2: hour here on Kiss FM.

- 30:16Speaker 3: to you again Monday
