Summer Streets Expand This Year | New York City News
New York City’s Summer Streets is back with extended hours this summer—starting July 25th and running through August 22nd, over 20 miles of car-free streets await across boroughs. Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island now open at 9 AM and close at 5 PM, while Manhattan sticks to 7 AM to 3 PM—thanks to community feedback. It’s your chance to reclaim the streets for walking, biking, dancing, or just hanging out with neighbors. Last year, 500,000+ people joined in.
