- 0:00Speaker 1: No the mark simone show nine till noon weekdays more
- 0:04Speaker 1: mark 710 wor well.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey uh welcome to the second hour that's right if
- 0:11Speaker 2: you just joined us we start at nine o'clock now
- 0:14Speaker 2: you missed the first hour nine to noon every day
- 0:17Speaker 2: here on 710 wor it's friday that's the good news
- 0:22Speaker 2: uh later tonight it's going to start raining it's going
- 0:25Speaker 2: to rain all day tomorrow That will continue into Sunday.
- 0:28Speaker 2: That's the bad news. If you're east of the city,
- 0:31Speaker 2: it might be really ugly, what they call a nor'easter.
- 0:35Speaker 2: If you're right in the city, it shouldn't be that bad.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Just a lot of rain. The wind won't be as bad.
- 0:39Speaker 2: If you're in Westchester, Fairfield County, it's not going to
- 0:44Speaker 2: be horrific. But if you're in eastern Long Island, you
- 0:47Speaker 2: get pretty ugly out there over the weekend with 60-mile-an-hour winds,
- 0:51Speaker 2: that sort of thing. If you're... West of the city,
- 0:54Speaker 2: north of the city, you're probably okay. It's south and
- 0:57Speaker 2: east of the city that's going to get the worst
- 0:59Speaker 2: of it. So the good news also is the last
- 1:04Speaker 2: big day of UN week, Netanyahu was probably the busiest day.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Then today, they start going away, these world leaders. Tonight,
- 1:14Speaker 2: they start leaving. Some of them stay Saturday, Sunday to
- 1:18Speaker 2: run around New York and do stuff. But then by Monday...
- 1:21Speaker 2: Even though the UN General Assembly continues, most of the
- 1:24Speaker 2: world leaders will be gone and the gridlock, the street closures,
- 1:27Speaker 2: all of that, that should be all gone by Monday.
- 1:31Speaker 2: This is the most useless event in the world, this
- 1:34Speaker 2: United Nations General Assembly this week. Over there, they call
- 1:39Speaker 2: it UNGA, U-N-G-A, UNGA. It is the most useless thing
- 1:44Speaker 2: in the world. It is the worst organization on earth,
- 1:47Speaker 2: the United Nations General They are absolutely horrible. It's just
- 1:51Speaker 2: a big VIP lounge for anti-Semites. It's a horrible place.
- 1:56Speaker 2: They get absolutely nothing done. They're concerned about nothing important.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Their anti-Semitism is very important to them. This is the
- 2:07Speaker 2: same U.N. that totally, totally ignored Islamic terrorism, totally ignored
- 2:13Speaker 2: genocide against Christians in Africa. They never mention it, never
- 2:17Speaker 2: comes up at the U.N. It's just a horrible place.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It's the most disgusting building you've ever seen on the inside. Outside,
- 2:26Speaker 2: it doesn't look bad. When you get in there, it's
- 2:27Speaker 2: a rundown, broken down, crappy mess in there. Their finances
- 2:33Speaker 2: are a total disaster. They're heavily in debt. Their budget
- 2:38Speaker 2: is $ 4 billion a year. They end up spending $ 70
- 2:41Speaker 2: billion a year. They're an absolute, reckless, out-of-control mess. But
- 2:47Speaker 2: for some reason, people still pay attention to them. So
- 2:50Speaker 2: that's why it was important for Netanyahu to come address
- 2:54Speaker 2: the U.N. He knows it's a room full of disgusting anti-Semites.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And sure enough, as Netanyahu gets up, he didn't say
- 3:02Speaker 2: anything yet. Just the fact that he was standing there,
- 3:06Speaker 2: half the U.N. walked out. They stood up and walked
- 3:09Speaker 2: out of their seats. And Netanyahu, good for him. Listen
- 3:12Speaker 2: to what he said.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Mr.
- 3:13Speaker 2: President.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Before I begin, just a quick announcement. If there are
- 3:21Speaker 3: any other moral cowards who haven't yet left this hall,
- 3:26Speaker 3: please do so now. Thank you very much.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, good for him, walking out. This is like one
- 3:34Speaker 2: of the most crucial international situations. Israel, Netanyahu, they all
- 3:40Speaker 2: walk out on him. They walk out. They're not there
- 3:43Speaker 2: for any serious purposes. They're there to waste money. They're
- 3:48Speaker 2: there to celebrate their anti-Semitism. But Netanyahu was a great speech.
- 3:52Speaker 3: To the protesters outside, to the hypocritical delegates who left
- 3:58Speaker 3: us all, I ask, where were you when the Iranian
- 4:04Speaker 3: tyrants butchered and maimed tens of thousands of unarmed Iranian civilians?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Iran slaughtering citizens in the streets. The reaction from
- 4:15Speaker 2: the UN? They couldn't have cared less.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Mr. Mamdani, you try to stop me from coming here.
- 4:24Speaker 3: You try to silence me. Well, you can't silence me.
- 4:29Speaker 3: You can't silence the truth. And here's the simple truth.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, Mamdani is kind of doing like a
- 4:43Speaker 2: Like a Megyn Kelly, like a Tucker Carlson. You know
- 4:46Speaker 2: these two lunatics, Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson? Every time you look, oh,
- 4:51Speaker 2: look what they said. Oh, my God, they said something
- 4:53Speaker 2: so outrageous. That's why Tucker Carlson does that. Megyn Kelly
- 4:58Speaker 2: does that because they'll get, you know, it might be
- 5:00Speaker 2: an attack article, but they'll make headlines in all the
- 5:04Speaker 2: liberal stuff, and then people will click on the link,
- 5:09Speaker 2: and they'll get clicks on their websites and on their whatever.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And then they get credit for that. They call those
- 5:15Speaker 2: click whores. A click whore will say anything to get
- 5:18Speaker 2: clicks on their website. For instance, Tucker Carlson yesterday demanding
- 5:24Speaker 2: that Trump's cabinet remove him from office via the 25th Amendment.
- 5:28Speaker 2: He should be bundled up and taken out. This is
- 5:30Speaker 2: a guy whose whole life is devoted to supporting Donald Trump.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Now he's demanding he be removed from office, that they
- 5:36Speaker 2: tie him up and carry him out. So why does
- 5:38Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson do this? Why does Megyn Kelly do this?
- 5:41Speaker 2: Because they got fired. They can't get on the air.
- 5:44Speaker 2: If you're on the big network, you've got millions and
- 5:46Speaker 2: millions of viewers. If you're on iHeart, you've got millions
- 5:49Speaker 2: and millions of listeners. If you're fired from everywhere and
- 5:53Speaker 2: you're doing the show from your home in your pajamas,
- 5:59Speaker 2: you've got to get attention. Nobody would know about it
- 6:02Speaker 2: or listen to it unless you get attention. So you've
- 6:04Speaker 2: got to say crazy, outrageous things. And then everybody covers
- 6:08Speaker 2: you and then you'll get clicks. As they say, they're
- 6:11Speaker 2: click whores. I think Mamdani is a bit of the
- 6:13Speaker 2: same thing. Now, he knows he can't arrest Netanyahu. He
- 6:16Speaker 2: had absolutely no authority to arrest Netanyahu. Actually, nobody can
- 6:20Speaker 2: arrest Netanyahu. He's got diplomatic immunity when he comes to
- 6:23Speaker 2: speak at the UN General Assembly. And he's not guilty
- 6:26Speaker 2: of anything. And you can say, well, the International Criminal
- 6:30Speaker 2: Court has indicted him. That's not a real court. It's
- 6:33Speaker 2: not a real court. It's not recognized by anybody. It's
- 6:36Speaker 2: just a made-up fake court. You could make up your
- 6:40Speaker 2: own court. The Global Citizen Criminal Court. Print up some
- 6:44Speaker 2: stationery and there you go. But it's not a real court.
- 6:47Speaker 2: So he knows he can't do it. So why would
- 6:49Speaker 2: he say it? Because it gets him all over the headlines.
- 6:52Speaker 2: He becomes a subject of a speech in the United
- 6:55Speaker 2: Nations General Assembly. So he's like Tucker Carlson. You just
- 7:00Speaker 2: say this crap and you get a lot of attention
- 7:02Speaker 2: and people talk about you. It makes you seem more
- 7:04Speaker 2: important than you are. Hey, good news. Bruce Blakeman has
- 7:08Speaker 2: pretty much caught up to Kathy Hochul. in the polls.
- 7:11Speaker 2: It's pretty much tied. Now, you could tell even without
- 7:16Speaker 2: reading the, I'm talking about the real polls, not the
- 7:18Speaker 2: fake public polls, but he's pretty much tied Kathy Hochul.
- 7:22Speaker 2: If you watch a lot of television, you'll notice you're
- 7:24Speaker 2: seeing these attack ads against Blakeman all over the place.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Every time you turn around, there's an attack ad against Blakeman.
- 7:31Speaker 2: This is from Kathy Hochul. She's spending a fortune right
- 7:35Speaker 2: now with these attack ads. She's running them day and night,
- 7:38Speaker 2: a whole series of vicious attack ads. Why all of
- 7:41Speaker 2: a sudden? Because she saw the real polls, the private polls,
- 7:45Speaker 2: the internal polls. She saw them catching up. This is
- 7:49Speaker 2: panic on her. This is fear, panic on her part.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That's why they opened up the checkbook and start spending
- 7:55Speaker 2: a fortune real fast on attack ads because he caught up.
- 7:58Speaker 2: But Blakeman, doing very well in the campaign.
- 8:01Speaker 1: How can it be possible that in a deep blue state,
- 8:05Speaker 1: a Republican could be neck and neck with a Democrat?
- 8:08Speaker 1: And it's because Kathy Hochul is the worst governor in America.
- 8:12Speaker 1: We have the highest taxes in America. Our utility bills
- 8:15Speaker 1: are 70% higher than the national average. And she is
- 8:18Speaker 1: the most pro-criminal governor in the United States.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah, she's one of those no bail, no jail. Andrew
- 8:25Speaker 2: Cuomo created that no bail, no jail. He's the guy
- 8:27Speaker 2: that pushed it, signed it. And she backs it up.
- 8:30Speaker 2: No bail, no jail. Let the criminals loose. Cuomo started
- 8:34Speaker 2: that thing of close the prisons, let them all out.
- 8:36Speaker 2: That's Kathy Hochul. And Cuomo started it with closing Indian Point.
- 8:42Speaker 2: She's continued it. Cuomo and Hochul. Remember your electric bill
- 8:48Speaker 2: was like $ 100. Now it's $ 400. That's because of this,
- 8:51Speaker 2: because of them, these two. They closed Indian Point. They
- 8:54Speaker 2: banned fracking. So it drove up the... Indian Point was 25%
- 9:00Speaker 2: of our electricity. It drove up the price of electricity.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You know, if you're complaining about the gas prices, 75
- 9:06Speaker 2: cents of that is a state tax. 75 cents a
- 9:10Speaker 2: gallon is state tax. They could drop that right now. Or,
- 9:14Speaker 2: you know, if the war is raising the price, freeze
- 9:19Speaker 2: that state gas tax. Eliminate it for 30 days or
- 9:22Speaker 2: 60 days. So Hochul... drives your electric bill way up.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And now she's offered, she's now saying she's going to
- 9:30Speaker 2: send everybody a $ 500 credit for electricity. But you've paid
- 9:35Speaker 2: an extra $ 5, 000 thanks to her for electricity, but she'll
- 9:38Speaker 2: send you $ 500 of your own money. But Blakeman talking
- 9:41Speaker 2: about this everywhere.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It's taxes and utility bills. We are losing hundreds of
- 9:46Speaker 1: thousands of people a year moving to other places because
- 9:49Speaker 1: it's so expensive. Kathy Hochulz approved 48 rate hikes on
- 9:55Speaker 1: our utility bills, 21 fare hikes on our trains, subways,
- 9:59Speaker 1: and buses. Basically, people have said, we don't see economic
- 10:04Speaker 1: activity in this state. We're number 50 in economic outlook.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it's a mess. It's a mess under Hochul.
- 10:10Speaker 2: People are leaving. Hey, and Blakeman has basically been a
- 10:13Speaker 2: governor for the last five years, six years. That's what
- 10:17Speaker 2: a county executive is, is a governor. Nassau County is
- 10:19Speaker 2: a big place. It's like 4 million people. It's bigger
- 10:23Speaker 2: than half of our states. It's a big place. So
- 10:26Speaker 2: he's been considered the best county executive in America. And
- 10:30Speaker 2: that's being a governor.
- 10:32Speaker 1: You take a look at my record in a county
- 10:34Speaker 1: that's larger than eight states. As chief executive, I cut
- 10:38Speaker 1: $ 150 million increase of my predecessor. I haven't raised taxes
- 10:42Speaker 1: a penny in five years. And U.S. News and World
- 10:44Speaker 1: Report says I have the safest county in America. People
- 10:48Speaker 1: want that kind of leadership. They're fed up with Kathy
- 10:51Speaker 1: Hochul and one-party rule.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, Hochul not only is in panic spending a
- 10:56Speaker 2: fortune all of a sudden on these attack ads against Blakeman.
- 10:59Speaker 2: You know, if you're doing well, you don't have to
- 11:01Speaker 2: waste all that money on attack ads. But she saw
- 11:03Speaker 2: the polls running attack ads all over the place. Now,
- 11:07Speaker 2: she's refusing to debate Blakeman. She's refused to turn down
- 11:13Speaker 2: the Channel 2 debate, the Channel 4 debate, the Channel
- 11:15Speaker 2: 5 debate, the Channel 7 debate. The only one she's
- 11:19Speaker 2: accepted is New York One. Why? It's a little tiny thing,
- 11:24Speaker 2: New York One, very few viewers, and it's very left-wing,
- 11:28Speaker 2: very biased, very slanted left. And the moderator will be
- 11:32Speaker 2: Errol Lewis, nice guy, but the most left-wing slanted guy.
- 11:36Speaker 2: That's the only one she'll agree to. Now, Blakeman's got
- 11:39Speaker 2: to push her. to do a real debate on a
- 11:42Speaker 2: real TV channel.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I'm going to talk about my record and compare it
- 11:45Speaker 1: to hers. My record is one of achievement and hers
- 11:47Speaker 1: is one of failure. So she tries to talk about
- 11:50Speaker 1: everything other than her record. Any commercial you've seen about her,
- 11:54Speaker 1: any social media post, says nothing about her record because
- 11:57Speaker 1: she's got a terrible record.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, and the greatest compliment to Bruce Blakeman, all
- 12:03Speaker 2: these attack ads, they only attack him on one thing,
- 12:05Speaker 2: that he's friends with Donald Trump. And believe me, they
- 12:09Speaker 2: had a team of opposition research people look at Blakeman
- 12:15Speaker 2: for a billion hours to find something on him. Well,
- 12:19Speaker 2: apparently they couldn't find anything on him because all the
- 12:21Speaker 2: attack ads are, look at him with Donald Trump. He's
- 12:23Speaker 2: friends with Donald Trump. He likes Donald Trump. That's the
- 12:26Speaker 2: only thing they got on him. Quite a compliment to Blakeman. Hey,
- 12:32Speaker 2: Macron of France made this ridiculous speech at the UN
- 12:35Speaker 2: talking about Trump. Free Palestine or something. You always count
- 12:40Speaker 2: on the wormy, weaselly French president to cause some trouble. Hey,
- 12:46Speaker 2: Carney of Canada, the Carney is the Canadian prime minister,
- 12:50Speaker 2: Mark Carney. You know, there was a little battle there
- 12:53Speaker 2: over tariffs. There was a battle over some issues with Canada.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And this crazy Mark Carney, Canadian prime minister, confirms that
- 13:03Speaker 2: he prepped for a the US to invade Canada. He
- 13:11Speaker 2: said it would have been irresponsible not to. As they
- 13:14Speaker 2: got into that tariff battle with Canada, he considered the
- 13:17Speaker 2: possibility of the US launching an invasion of Canada. It
- 13:23Speaker 2: was like a trade war, an economic trade war. He said,
- 13:26Speaker 2: if you have a responsibility, you have to plan and prepare.
- 13:30Speaker 2: So they were preparing for the invasion of Canada by
- 13:33Speaker 2: the United States. What the hell would we invade Canada for?
- 13:38Speaker 2: What on earth would we want in Canada? Absolutely. What,
- 13:43Speaker 2: are we going to invade Windsor, Canada? What are we
- 13:47Speaker 2: going to invade? Quebec? Who the hell cares? And let's
- 13:50Speaker 2: say we did invade. Not that we ever would. Let's
- 13:52Speaker 2: say we were going to invade. What the hell would
- 13:54Speaker 2: they do about it? What, are they going to send
- 13:55Speaker 2: some Mounties? What, are they going to have Dudley do
- 13:59Speaker 2: right and a couple of Mounties try to stop us?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Fade Canada. Could you imagine? First of all, a Boy
- 14:07Speaker 2: Scout troop could take over Canada. Anyway. Hey, Buck and Clay,
- 14:12Speaker 2: you know, they do a great show. Buck Sexton, Clay Travis.
- 14:14Speaker 2: They're on every day at noon, noon to three. It's
- 14:16Speaker 2: a very big show. It's about 10 million listeners now.
- 14:19Speaker 2: They replaced Rush Limbaugh. You remember when Rush left us?
- 14:26Speaker 2: About 12 guys all of a sudden claimed they were
- 14:28Speaker 2: replacing Rush. Yeah. I don't want to mention any names.
- 14:32Speaker 2: You know some of them. Yes, I'm replacing Rush. I'll
- 14:35Speaker 2: be on at noon, noon to three. I'm replacing Rush.
- 14:37Speaker 2: None of them were replacing Rush. It was Buck and
- 14:40Speaker 2: Clay that actually replaced Rush. They were hired by the
- 14:44Speaker 2: company that did the Rush show, iHeart Premiere. They do
- 14:48Speaker 2: the show from Rush Limbaugh's studio. They sit in Rush
- 14:52Speaker 2: Limbaugh's chair. They have Rush Limbaugh's engineer, Mike Mamone. He's
- 14:57Speaker 2: been there for a million years. He was the guy
- 14:59Speaker 2: running the Rush show every day. So their show is
- 15:02Speaker 2: produced by the Rush people, run by the Rush staff.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It's in the Rush studio. They use Rush's theme song.
- 15:09Speaker 2: But the reason I bring this up is this Mike Mamone,
- 15:12Speaker 2: been with us for a million years, all the way
- 15:13Speaker 2: back to the beginnings at WABC years ago. He is retiring.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Today's his last day. So you want to listen to
- 15:21Speaker 2: Buck and Clay. Sean Hannity had him on yesterday as
- 15:24Speaker 2: a guest for a half hour. Mike Mamone, the great
- 15:28Speaker 2: engineer of Rush Limbaugh's, he'll be on with... He's on
- 15:31Speaker 2: with Buck and Clay, but I'm sure they'll talk to
- 15:32Speaker 2: him on the air about it. It's his final day today.
- 15:35Speaker 2: So we wish him well. We'll take some calls next.
- 15:39Speaker 2: 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 15:39Speaker 3: 800-321-0710.
