Speaker 1: Hey, the folks and you Robock and TJ.
• 0:17
Speaker 2: Holmes here to your hosts. Here on I Do Part two.
• 0:19
Speaker 2: We're continuing to give you some great options for last
• 0:23
Speaker 2: minute gifts for the people in your life, single or otherwise.
• 0:26
Speaker 1: This one. We recommend this for a single person.
• 0:29
Speaker 3: Yes, maybe, because if you have someone with you you
• 0:31
Speaker 3: can say, hey, don't forget to wake me up. But
• 0:33
Speaker 3: if you're alone, yeah, you need your alarm clock more
• 0:36
  Speaker 3: than ever.
• 0:36
Speaker 4: Correct. If you're single, you got you yourself and.
• 0:39
Speaker 1: Well you don't worry about but hey, but I do
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: Part two.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: Part of our you know, the whole the whole podcast
• 0:45
Speaker 2: is to get people hooked up so you won't need
• 0:47
Speaker 2: this alarm clock later.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: So we'll just deal with right now.
• 0:50
Speaker 2: For you folks who haven't quite gott in love right
• 0:52
Speaker 2: the second or third or fourth time, yet, this clock
• 0:56
Speaker 2: might be for you.
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 0:58
Speaker 2: This was the one that was not on our radar,
• 1:01
Speaker 2: and apparently it's all the rage on social media.
• 1:03
Speaker 3: Yes, so we did not had not heard of the
• 1:07
Speaker 3: hatch restore three sunrise alarm clock, but apparently this gift
• 1:13
Speaker 3: is everywhere on TikTok. And I say this because our
• 1:16
Speaker 3: nineteen year old came back from college and she saw
• 1:20
Speaker 3: that the producers If I Do Part two had sent
• 1:23
Speaker 3: a hatch alarm clock for us to look at as
• 1:25
Speaker 3: a possible gift idea for any of your single friends
• 1:28
Speaker 3: or for you if you happen to be single.
• 1:31
Speaker 4: And she said, oh my god, a hatch alarm clock.
• 1:34
  Speaker 4: Am I exaggerating?
• 1:35
Speaker 1: You're not exaggerating again.
• 1:37
Speaker 2: But before the nineteen year old came home, we have
• 1:40
Speaker 2: the twelve year old at home and Sabine.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: Sees it's sitting on the counter and she's wait, can
• 1:45
Speaker 1: I have it? You all don't want it? Well, we
• 1:47
Speaker 1: didn't get it at all.
• 1:48
Speaker 2: So that was the first indication to is how popular
• 1:51
Speaker 2: this thing was, how fun it is to people, and
• 1:53
Speaker 2: how yes, they're itching to get their hands on it.
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: Yes.
• 1:55
Speaker 3: And so there are all of these incredible features in
• 1:59
Speaker 3: terms of helping you fall asleep, helping you potentially stay asleep,
• 2:03
Speaker 3: and to wake you up in a very curated, specific
• 2:07
Speaker 3: way that you would prefer. So Annalise got really, really,
• 2:11
Speaker 3: really excited when she found out that she could set her.
• 2:15
Speaker 4: Hatch restore three sunrise alarm clock.
• 2:17
Speaker 3: And I say her because we gave her the other
• 2:19
Speaker 3: one to Good Morning Islanders does that sound familiar to
• 2:23
Speaker 3: anyone else who loves to watch Love Island? We died laughing.
• 2:27
Speaker 3: She was still playing with it, trying to figure out
• 2:29
Speaker 3: how to do it, but she said she cannot wait
• 2:31
Speaker 3: to have that be the first thing she hears in
• 2:34
  Speaker 3: the morning.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: Now it's supposed to be.
• 2:36
Speaker 2: Now, if that's your preference, you want to hear good morning, Islanders.
• 2:39
Speaker 2: I don't think I want to hear that. The only
• 2:41
Speaker 2: thing worse than that if it screamed out I got
• 2:43
Speaker 2: a text, I would throw the damn alarm clock out
• 2:46
Speaker 2: the window, but I'd be awake. But yes, they say,
• 2:50
Speaker 2: this thing is designed to help you build a bedtime
• 2:52
Speaker 2: routine that quiets your mind so you can sleep better. Now,
• 2:56
Speaker 2: it looks cool and it has all these features, but
• 2:58
Speaker 2: it is supposed to really be good about helping people
• 3:01
  Speaker 2: get restorative sleep.
• 3:02
Speaker 3: Yes, an Al was telling us that you can have
• 3:04
Speaker 3: and I say this because she was explaining it to
• 3:06
Speaker 3: us more than we actually knew, because she's seen all
• 3:09
Speaker 3: the tiktoks. But apparently it can read you a bedtime story,
• 3:12
Speaker 3: it can walk you through a meditation. It can actually
• 3:15
Speaker 3: have some light that will help soothe you and get
• 3:19
Speaker 3: you to sleep. And relax you that it sends out
• 3:21
Speaker 3: and also that light I was talking about, it actually
• 3:23
Speaker 3: illuminates in the morning. It mimics sunrise, so it kind
• 3:28
Speaker 3: of starts or jump starts your circadian rhythm, a circadian
• 3:31
Speaker 3: rhythm apparently. So it's supposed to actually, from a visual
• 3:35
Speaker 3: and from an audio standpoint, help you fall asleep and
• 3:38
Speaker 3: help you wake up feeling refreshed.
• 3:40
Speaker 2: Yes, And even though the light does that in a
• 3:42
Speaker 2: soft way, right, it's not supposed to be a sudden
• 3:44
Speaker 2: hit of light, which is supposed to mari the sun.
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: Like you said.
• 3:46
Speaker 2: It also has what they call science backed sleep sounds.
• 3:52
Speaker 2: They have eighty plus of these things. What is that
• 3:54
Speaker 2: white noise and what's the difference between white and brown?
• 3:59
Speaker 3: Brown noises softer and a little bit, yeah, just softer.
• 4:02
Speaker 3: The white noise it's a little harsher, and then like
• 4:05
Speaker 3: the blue and violet noise is very harsh.
• 4:07
Speaker 4: It's more tinny in a sense. But the brown noise.
• 4:12
Speaker 3: It almost has like what the hell, you know, get
• 4:15
Speaker 3: tinny if someone has a tiny quality to their voice,
• 4:17
Speaker 3: it's almost grating. It's like a piercing piercing maybe, So
• 4:21
Speaker 3: the black noise I didn't see a ba.
• 4:24
Speaker 4: No, there's a brown noise. Did I mentioned how much
• 4:27
Speaker 4: I love the brown noise, black noise?
• 4:29
Speaker 1: Just the Kendrick Lamars long plan.
• 4:32
Speaker 4: That's just your ringtone. They're not like us, They're not.
• 4:35
Speaker 2: Like okay, but we did have some downsides, at least
• 4:37
Speaker 2: some challenges we found with it. First, we should say
• 4:40
Speaker 2: it is good looking. It's like what you would say semircle.
• 4:44
Speaker 4: However you want to put it.
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: I kind of a look.
• 4:46
Speaker 2: And it has a mesh front to it, so you
• 4:47
Speaker 2: don't just see a display of numbers. Has this mesh
• 4:50
Speaker 2: front and the numbers you can have them up or down,
• 4:52
Speaker 2: so we could just be sitting there nothing digitally showing up,
• 4:55
Speaker 2: no light, So that's cool. The other thing, though, and
• 4:59
Speaker 2: trying to get it to work, I think was our
• 5:01
Speaker 2: first challenge to wear almost turned us off and made
• 5:03
Speaker 2: a question at least to let people know you think
• 5:05
Speaker 2: about it before you give it as a gain.
• 5:07
Speaker 3: Yes, so I couldn't figure out how to even use
• 5:10
Speaker 3: the app, which is how you basically control the alarm
• 5:15
Speaker 3: clock without agreeing to a subscription. And so they give
• 5:20
Speaker 3: you a free seven day trial and it's six ninety
• 5:24
Speaker 3: nine a month, even though they advertise it's four ninety
• 5:26
Speaker 3: nine a month. When you get on there, it's actually
• 5:28
Speaker 3: six ninety nine a month, I can confirm, or you
• 5:30
Speaker 3: can opt for a thirty day free trial, and then
• 5:33
Speaker 3: at the end of the thirty days it's sixty nine
• 5:36
Speaker 3: ninety nine a year. That is a very hefty price tag,
• 5:40
Speaker 3: especially for a nineteen year old. I guarantee you she's
• 5:43
Speaker 3: not going to pay for it. I told her to
• 5:45
Speaker 3: set her alarm to remind her to cancel her subscription. However,
• 5:50
Speaker 3: the problem is all the cool features that she was
• 5:52
Speaker 3: raving about go along with that subscription.
• 5:56
Speaker 4: So I was even considering.
• 5:59
Speaker 3: Paying for or maybe at least the first year of
• 6:02
Speaker 3: that subscription, to see if she actually uses it and
• 6:04
  Speaker 3: likes it.
• 6:05
Speaker 2: Just something to keep in mind. But they are all
• 6:08
Speaker 2: the rage and they sound like a good, fun, cool
• 6:10
Speaker 2: product if you can deep dive into the features. Because
• 6:13
Speaker 2: this is not for somebody who just needs to hear
• 6:15
Speaker 2: an alarm to wake up.
• 6:16
Speaker 1: This is for you.
• 6:16
Speaker 2: If you're focused on your sleep, or you don't want
• 6:18
Speaker 2: a cool item or trying to do better about your pattern.
• 6:21
Speaker 1: This is for you.
• 6:22
Speaker 2: If you're not worried about that, just set the iPhone
• 6:24
Speaker 2: alarm and you'll be fine.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: But this is a cool one. Good luck out there.
• 6:30
Speaker 1: Anything else on this.
• 6:31
Speaker 3: One, I will just say, if you have somebody who
• 6:34
Speaker 3: loves TikTok or is of that generation, that age, I
• 6:37
Speaker 3: would say anywhere, and if you are yourself, probably anywhere
• 6:40
Speaker 3: from forty down under, you're gonna get a big reaction
• 6:44
Speaker 3: when they open this.
• 6:45
Speaker 4: So that's the fun thing.
• 6:46
Speaker 3: Just know that it might come with an ask to
• 6:50
Speaker 3: go ahead and pay for that subscription after you've already
• 6:53
Speaker 3: purchased the actual item.
• 6:56
Speaker 4: And it isn't cheap.
• 6:57
  Speaker 5: It is.
• 6:58
Speaker 4: It comes in four colors.
• 6:59
Speaker 3: Can get it on Amazon for one hundred and sixty
• 7:02
Speaker 3: nine ninety nine. But go ahead and add that sixty
• 7:05
Speaker 3: nine ninety nine a year to your thought when you're
• 7:09
Speaker 3: thinking about how much you want to spend.
• 7:10
Speaker 2: Okay, well again, thanks for the young folks for helping
• 7:12
Speaker 2: us out. We are not as adept at social media
• 7:15
Speaker 2: gift guides, but we learned something on this one. We
• 7:18
Speaker 2: will now, folks, get back to our lane talking relationships
• 7:21
  Speaker 2: here on I.
• 7:22
Speaker 5: Do Partner, Hey, I Do Part two.
• 7:34
Speaker 6: It's your host Jana Kramer jumping in with some more
• 7:36
Speaker 6: great last minute gift ideas for the single person in
• 7:38
Speaker 6: your life, or hey, if you're single, get these for yourself.
• 7:41
  Speaker 5: You deserve it.
• 7:43
Speaker 6: So first up is the higher torque electric jar opener
• 7:47
Speaker 6: by Kitchen Bye by Kitchen Ma. So listen, I got
• 7:52
Speaker 6: to be honest with you. The other day, Alan was
• 7:54
Speaker 6: out of town and I was trying to open up
• 7:56
Speaker 6: a jar. I could not open the jar to save
• 7:59
Speaker 6: my life. Well, here's the thing. This is for you
• 8:02
Speaker 6: or that elderly person in your family because it's easy
• 8:05
Speaker 6: to use. It's an automatic jar opener. It's designed for
• 8:08
Speaker 6: maximum simplicity, allowing you to open jars with just a
• 8:11
Speaker 6: single button press. This electronic jar opener is especially helpful
• 8:15
Speaker 6: for users with arthritis or carpal tunnel, offering a smooth
• 8:19
Speaker 6: and hands free opening experience, or for that single mom
• 8:23
Speaker 6: or the mom that is home alone without their husband.
• 8:27
Speaker 6: Because the amount of times I say here, open this,
• 8:30
Speaker 6: I don't need to do that anymore because I've got
• 8:32
Speaker 6: this higher torque electric jar opener. It provides a no grip,
• 8:37
Speaker 6: no twist solution for individuals with not only hand discomfort
• 8:41
  Speaker 6: or without a husband. It's powerful, it's a versatile, and
• 8:44
Speaker 6: it's thoughtful and practical.
• 8:45
  Speaker 5: So listen.
• 8:48
Speaker 6: For again, the mom from Daughter Seniors, or anyone managing
• 8:51
Speaker 6: for frozen shoulder, limited hand mobility, or again like that
• 8:55
Speaker 6: mom without the husband. This gift is for them, and
• 9:00
Speaker 6: it's adjustable in compact, so that's great too, and you
• 9:02
Speaker 6: can get down Amazon. Our favorite for twenty seven ninety nine.
• 9:07
Speaker 6: Next up is the road lip case cell phone holder
• 9:10
Speaker 6: that holds your lip gloss. So it's pretty cool it
• 9:13
Speaker 6: already has I've got the new phone and I already
• 9:15
Speaker 6: have the case for it. But it's a silky silicone
• 9:18
Speaker 6: case and molded to fit your peptide lip treatment or
• 9:21
Speaker 6: tint to puffy back, and tactile buttons for easy grip.
• 9:25
Speaker 6: And you know you can get the phone case or
• 9:27
Speaker 6: pair it with a road lip gloss. So many to
• 9:29
Speaker 6: choose from. I got the lip tint and raspberry jelly
• 9:32
Speaker 6: and the case in lip tint is fifty two twenty,
• 9:34
Speaker 6: So another little great gift for that best friend in
• 9:38
Speaker 6: your life or the mom that just needs a little
• 9:42
Speaker 6: help not digging in her purse looking for that lip
• 9:44
Speaker 6: gloss because it's attached to their road lip case.
• 9:49
Speaker 5: So yeah, I love.
• 9:50
Speaker 6: Both of them. I think it's great. I am going
• 9:52
Speaker 6: to be using the jar opener many times, and it's
• 9:56
Speaker 6: nice to just have that lip gloss on hand literally
• 10:00
Speaker 6: with my phone. So I'm a great guest and hope
• 10:03
  Speaker 6: this helps
