- 0:49Speaker 2: Didn't they start selling it as its own thing.
- 0:52Speaker 1: They did, But that's and they have a creamer, a
- 0:53Speaker 1: coffee creamer, cinnamon toast crunch because they they know what
- 0:57Speaker 1: they're working with basically just cinnamon sugar, which I don't mind. Uh,
- 1:03Speaker 1: they just be man. They know what they're doing. They
- 1:07Speaker 1: know what theyre doing. Good time.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yes, you got a two heads. You got to it's biblical.
- 1:16Speaker 3: We used to just be in front and.
- 1:18Speaker 1: At the time when we were kids of the cereal
- 1:20Speaker 1: and the cartoons on the Saturday morning. Couldn't beat it.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Ship was chess is simple? Yes, ah man grey. Then
- 1:34Speaker 1: we got bills and doctor's appointments. Being grown suck terrible.
- 1:39Speaker 1: This butt it's but it's butt soup? All right? What
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got called?
- 1:45Speaker 2: All right?

- 1:49Speaker 3: jacks is good.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Give you some good milk, Yes, I feel like apple jacks.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Don't get it, just do.
- 1:55Speaker 1: But but again, it's the cinnamon, cinnamon. Apple jacks tastes
- 1:59Speaker 1: like apples. That good cartoon, I mean good commercials too.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I don't know what apple tastes like, but I don't
- 2:06Speaker 1: mind it. Oh, what is it? Cinnamon?
- 2:09Speaker 2: It's supposed to be cinnamon and apple.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It ain't. It ain't apple, but it is cinnamon. It's
- 2:14Speaker 1: good taste anyway. Yeah, I said, apples like a faint taste.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Apples don't come in too hot and heavy.
- 2:20Speaker 1: No, they're on the light. They're lighting, crisp, refreshing. They
- 2:24Speaker 1: don't come in like an orange. You're gonna feel me,
- 2:26Speaker 1: you gonna feel me. Pineapple is a strong flavor as
- 2:30Speaker 1: a fruit, but it's a very faint taste when it's
- 2:31Speaker 1: pineapple something else. That's why it doesn't make a good
- 2:34Speaker 1: sparkling water. Sparkling water has to be a very water. Sucks.
- 2:38Speaker 3: What what is wrong with you drink? So it's not
- 2:46Speaker 3: the sparkling stuff sucks. But but no, but the sparkling
- 2:51Speaker 3: apple side.
- 2:57Speaker 1: That's a good time. He knows what he's doing. What
- 2:59Speaker 1: he's doing. What he apple jack milk apple jack. All right,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. I'm trying to decide. I'm gonna go.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Coco pebbles. Okay, cocoa pebbles, Cocoa puffs and coco pebbles
- 3:12Speaker 1: leaves a similar milk. I feel like cocoa pebbles is
- 3:15Speaker 1: a chocold oh, chocoldier milk. Then cocoa puffs. Now I'm
- 3:25Speaker 1: that same plane. I would rather eat cocoa puffs because
- 3:28Speaker 1: the sog factory get soggy this the millisecond that milk
- 3:36Speaker 1: hits the bowl.
- 3:37Speaker 3: You got to get up in there, you do you
- 3:40Speaker 3: damn there have to put milk on each individual rise
- 3:44Speaker 3: crispy piece just to just to get in there and
- 3:47Speaker 3: get some crunch, because this is gonna go soggy immediately.
- 3:51Speaker 2: They are the avocados of cereals.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And that's the thing, like with other cereals, you don't
- 3:56Speaker 1: you're not in a rush. You can enjoy the cereal.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's got a red in a ratio of sog. Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but rice crispy their their deterioration factors too, And I
- 4:06Speaker 1: don't wonder what if I don't want to eat at
- 4:07Speaker 1: that past You're asking a lot for me.
- 4:09Speaker 3: It's just thankfully I e fast. It's not an issue
- 4:14Speaker 3: for me. I'm damn there eating it as it's pouring
- 4:17Speaker 3: into the bowl. I'm like, I'm biting pieces as they fall,
- 4:22Speaker 3: and then I'm letting the milk spill off my head
- 4:25Speaker 3: into the bowl.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And then then I could be if they stop snap
- 4:29Speaker 1: crackling and popping. It's over socks once.
- 4:38Speaker 2: At that point.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So yeah, cocoa pebbles is my next one.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I'm going fruity pebbles, fruity fruit, fruity pebbles.
- 4:48Speaker 2: That's that good milk.
- 4:50Speaker 3: And then you're gonna get the soggy pieces within the milk,
- 4:53Speaker 3: because you couldn't get every soggy piece, but that milk.
- 4:56Speaker 1: That fruity pebble milk. Man, watch make on this.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You don't like Fruity Pebbles.
- 5:02Speaker 1: This is rice Christy treats of what's wrong with that?
- 5:05Speaker 1: It's too soggy?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Man, Look at yourself, Look at your shirt pocket. It's soggy.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Their whole shirt is a soggy mess. And you want
- 5:15Speaker 3: to judge the cereal?
- 5:18Speaker 1: Freddy Pebbles is a bottom tier series? What bottom ten?
- 5:22Speaker 1: What bottom ten is outreach? Bottom tier?
- 5:25Speaker 3: Fruity Pebbles is top ten. It's an all time list.
- 5:32Speaker 3: If we did a pole all time we hit the streets,
- 5:36Speaker 3: it's gonna be on the no.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I bet it ain't even most people's top three.
- 5:40Speaker 3: What well, I don't know about the It's gonna be
- 5:42Speaker 3: top ten. Fruity Pebbles is popular.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm a loops.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Loops man, watch out man man.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Fruity Pebble's milk. All right, I'm gonna go.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The y'all bottom tier in the comments say if you.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Agree, I think I'm a goal man. I'm gonna go
- 6:09Speaker 4: Cookie crisp Man. It tastes like chocolate chip cookie meal.
- 6:13Speaker 2: That's what I don't like. Cookie crisp Man.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Cookie. You don't like cookie crisp It's just cookies. I
- 6:19Speaker 1: don't like it.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Don't be cookies and just be cookies.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Man.
- 6:22Speaker 2: We don't try to act like you serious.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Now you gotta have they gotta be a little bit
- 6:25Speaker 1: more air rated to be serium, man, because it'd be
- 6:27Speaker 1: too hard if it was just real. Cause it's not.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It's just cookies. Cool a bag of cookie.
- 6:33Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. What's that a problem?
- 6:35Speaker 2: I want cereal to be cereal. I don't want cookies
- 6:37Speaker 2: to be cookies.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Irrigation, man, we gotta integrate. We ain't got there's strong
- 6:42Speaker 1: throwing over here. Man. What I want is the white
- 6:44Speaker 1: people to have. They gotta have their water found in
- 6:47Speaker 1: the blast over there.
- 6:49Speaker 2: With the merging of the two.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Soon I got a bowl of soft batched cereal if
- 6:55Speaker 3: you want no, man, we're not doing this.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So you don't like Reese's puffs.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Like Reese's puffs, but that's not the same. They're not
- 7:04Speaker 3: shrunk down Reese's cups.
- 7:06Speaker 1: They're just circle.
- 7:07Speaker 2: No, they're circles now they're cereal.
- 7:09Speaker 1: So so cookie crisp was made into a circle. You
- 7:12Speaker 1: would it was made into a circle. Whatever you want
- 7:16Speaker 1: to come shap your shape phobic.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Cookie crisp are a little cookies just.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Because of the so you don't mind the flavor, you
- 7:22Speaker 1: don't like the you don't like I don't like.
- 7:24Speaker 3: The fact that they are cookies in my bowl. Now
- 7:27Speaker 3: I feel complete fat ass ery because I just ate
- 7:31Speaker 3: a bowl of cookies.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So if they turn them into puffs, if cookie.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I would be like, all right, now we're sus now
- 7:38Speaker 2: we're siris.
- 7:40Speaker 3: But the fact that they are shaped just like cookies,
- 7:44Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm a complete fat ass.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Because I ate a bowl of cookies.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Why is that?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Because you would never eat a bowl of cookies, but
- 7:53Speaker 1: I would eat cookies. And also cookies and milk is
- 7:55Speaker 1: a thing, So so what's the point?
- 7:57Speaker 3: What's the difference? Because now it's a bowl of cookies.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Normally you get a few cookies, or maybe you just
- 8:02Speaker 3: had one of two. Nah, just had twenty seven cookie.
- 8:07Speaker 1: But it ain't a full cookie. Watch out, it's not
- 8:09Speaker 1: a full cookie. It's like a it's a thirty percent
- 8:12Speaker 1: of a cookie. It didn't even got the same crime.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I don't even think you believe in this choice. You scrambled.
- 8:17Speaker 1: No, not because because I was trying to decide between
- 8:19Speaker 1: cookie Christian and Ese's puffs man, and I didn't know
- 8:22Speaker 1: what you was gonna take and I didn't want you
- 8:23Speaker 1: to guess Rieseu's puffs. That's what I went on mine
- 8:25Speaker 1: as well, because that's that's what I was trying to
- 8:27Speaker 1: decide what Tony would say. I know you felt that
- 8:30Speaker 1: strongly about cookie crip.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's just they it's a cheese code for what.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Well, we got steaks next, steak os and they just
- 8:38Speaker 3: little steaks in your bowl?
- 8:39Speaker 1: What I mean oncen't that where do we stop macaroni
- 8:43Speaker 1: and cheese oles? Not?
- 8:44Speaker 2: He just squeeze of macaroni and cheese.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Little pieces of steak and milk fish.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Fileo catfish olds ah, man cil it up.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Oh so if somebody made cakeos like little little.
- 9:05Speaker 3: So now they little slices of cake with the little
- 9:07Speaker 3: layer and the little filling in the middle, a little
- 9:11Speaker 3: come out.
- 9:12Speaker 2: It's just kate, Nah, I had twenty seven slices of.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Cake so cinnamon toast crunch, you know, like the way
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's just like a it's kind of got the same
- 9:25Speaker 1: shape as golden grounds, right, but then you know like
- 9:28Speaker 1: they try to come out with French toasts.
- 9:30Speaker 3: And I didn't curl because read so now now it
- 9:34Speaker 3: looks like bread. You ruined everything? Now cross over because
- 9:40Speaker 3: the French toes. I'm like, man, these little pieces of
- 9:43Speaker 3: bread in there. Man, watch out, man, It's no longer Cereal.
- 9:48Speaker 3: So waffle Crisp Cereal need.
- 9:50Speaker 2: To be flakes, balls or just like kernels, just like so.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You don't eat waffle the waffle crisps. I do eat
- 9:59Speaker 1: waffle cristal. It's little waffles, and I want little waffles.
- 10:03Speaker 2: You do not even consistent eat a bowl.
- 10:06Speaker 1: What is the difference between waffles and cookies? Because I
- 10:09Speaker 1: want to eat a bowl of waffles, because waffles already
- 10:13Speaker 1: a breakfast food, yes, but French tost is a breakfast food.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I want to eat a bowl of waffles every morning,
- 10:21Speaker 3: complete waffle.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That doesn't make any You're gas lighting me. There's no
- 10:26Speaker 1: way you can make waffle Crisp makes it, and not
- 10:29Speaker 1: fridge dolls. I want.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Here's the thing I don't want. I don't ever want a.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Bowl of cookies.
- 10:35Speaker 3: I want a bowl of waffles every second of my life,
- 10:43Speaker 3: every second of it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Oh my god. And they don't really look like waffles
- 10:49Speaker 1: for real.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It looks like cereal still, how just because the way
- 10:55Speaker 3: they look cookie crispmas little cookies for.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Real, they are cookie I give you that. Yeah, Christ
- 11:05Speaker 2: look distorted.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It's not a true waffle. It's more like an Eggo
- 11:09Speaker 1: waffle than a regular Okay, give you, get off my back,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Get off my back.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I'm hungry. I'm always hungry. If you know me, you

- 18:42Speaker 3: I'm gonna go get the dog in here. I'm gonna
- 18:45Speaker 3: go golden grams.
- 18:48Speaker 1: That is good. That's a good milk. That is a
- 18:51Speaker 1: good milk. I just had some golden grounds the other night,
- 18:55Speaker 1: about two eighty on the calories. No milk.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Oh, come on in here with us, In here with us.
- 19:03Speaker 1: What's the dogs? Your name? You can hang out of here.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Were in here.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Don't be sad out there by yourself.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Her snout is all white. Hi, it's a good name. Man.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Dogs are welcome, and the dogs all right.
- 19:22Speaker 2: We're in here together.
- 19:24Speaker 1: So one more for me?
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yeah, man, mm hmm, choose wisely the good milks.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You said honey bunches.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Of I didn't say honey.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Their milk just be whatever.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Usually usually when I eat honey bunches of oaks, here's
- 19:44Speaker 3: how I eat my cereal. I'm a two bowler. I'm
- 19:48Speaker 3: really just one bowl. Yeah, got so, I'm a two bowler.
- 19:52Speaker 3: When I eat honey bunches of oaks, I get it
- 19:55Speaker 3: to where the cereal is absorbing the last of the milk,
- 19:58Speaker 3: to where it's almost like when I finished, there's nothing
- 20:02Speaker 3: left to drink. Oh, the cereal just absorbed everything. Okay,
- 20:07Speaker 3: So I always try to have more cereal than milk.
- 20:10Speaker 3: That way, I'm not drinking a bunch of leftover got
- 20:13Speaker 3: it stuff, So I don't even know what honey, bunch
- 20:16Speaker 3: of those milk taste like.
- 20:18Speaker 1: That cereal b that it's a big milk sucker upper. Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 1: it's absorbed. And she is fine. Don't you worry about
- 20:24Speaker 1: this dog? Dog is chilling. Let the people see if
- 20:27Speaker 1: you're gonna pick her up. Let me get on the Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you gonna be on the couch man, there you go.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it just been Lucky.
- 20:35Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, when did you get the dog? What
- 20:37Speaker 1: did you name the Luki? Did you? Were you already
- 20:38Speaker 1: fan of this from when you saw Avengers? Yes, she's yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 1: while ago the first one Lucky was bad. Okay, wait
- 20:46Speaker 1: when did that come out? That was like two thousand
- 20:49Speaker 1: and she was a puppy then and the comic books
- 20:56Speaker 1: that was ok because I Loki been around since the sixties. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: I remember I left my job to watch that Avengers
- 21:02Speaker 1: co old. Yeah they do, they do, yeah and woke
- 21:08Speaker 1: and woke. I just found out today that the top gun,
- 21:14Speaker 1: that first thing the Air Force did that competition was
- 21:19Speaker 1: won by Tuskigi Airmen so they didn't announced. They didn't
- 21:21Speaker 1: announce a winner because the black team won. So the
- 21:25Speaker 1: real first Maverick was a black dude and they didn't
- 21:28Speaker 1: announce the winner because of that. So top Gun is
- 21:31Speaker 1: woke reverse woke because they made the black guy white. Wow. Yeah, Like,
- 21:40Speaker 1: if you're gonna be mad at woke, fine, but you
- 21:43Speaker 1: can't be mad at woke and be okay with whitewashed
- 21:47Speaker 1: Cleopatra and all those movies that Tom Cruise, Jesus, Jesus,
- 21:52Speaker 1: the ultimate bro Tom Cruise was in the Samurai movie.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Nobody complained. I mean well at the time. Yeah, the
- 22:01Speaker 1: people who can walk didn't complain. A lot of people complain.
- 22:05Speaker 1: The complain is.
- 22:06Speaker 2: About wol Undercovered being low key biggie.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Not low key for you. Yeah, I'm gonna throw Raisin
- 22:13Speaker 1: burn crunching there.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Milktt just like Raisin brand, So you wanted to throw
- 22:20Speaker 3: it in there.
- 22:20Speaker 1: It was your favorite cereal, and that's what it is.
- 22:24Speaker 1: That's all it is. That's all stand on it. I
- 22:27Speaker 1: like the milk. It's probably the milk I drinked the most.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It ain't the milk, it is the milk man. It's
- 22:32Speaker 2: a good cereal. But it's it's the milk really killing.
- 22:37Speaker 1: It's solid, it's got a little sweetness, a little man.
- 22:42Speaker 3: It's faint though I'm not buying this. I'm telling you, man,
- 22:45Speaker 3: Crossing flakes got better milk.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Oh damn. Okay, that's absolutely true. Were you gonna says flakes? No, No,
- 22:52Speaker 1: frosting flakes is gonna is absolutely better. You're out rocking places.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Is not my favorite cereal, but its milky, the milk, milk,
- 22:59Speaker 1: and we talked the milks. We're talking milks. I'm gonna
- 23:01Speaker 1: go frost like, sorry, you're out of here. What you
- 23:03Speaker 1: got for your last one? Oh?
- 23:04Speaker 2: That's it?
- 23:05Speaker 1: I think that's ten. Okay, cool? Then all right, now
- 23:08Speaker 1: we're moving on, moving on top. We want to do
- 23:12Speaker 1: ten Hood classic movies, okay, and that doesn't have to
- 23:17Speaker 1: be Well, let's decide first what hood I So I
- 23:22Speaker 1: was gonna say, because what hood? The Hood? Technically Friday
- 23:29Speaker 1: can be considered a hook. That's a hook that's a
- 23:31Speaker 1: Hood classic. Right, So it's not just because they literally
- 23:34Speaker 1: in the Hood. So okay, So what is your what
- 23:36Speaker 1: is our parameters for what makes it the Hood classic?
- 23:39Speaker 1: The setting?
- 23:40Speaker 2: The setting has to be in bad neighborhoods.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, so don't don't don't uh Wayne's movie.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Don't drink your juices.
- 23:51Speaker 2: That's the hood of the movie.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Okay, cool, So it can be comedy then, oh yeah.
- 23:56Speaker 2: It don't have to be a hood drama.
- 23:58Speaker 1: But because Friday is a hood movie, perfect, Okay, you're
- 24:01Speaker 1: going first.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Okay, boys, And who is in the title?
- 24:05Speaker 1: Man?
- 24:06Speaker 2: Who is in the title? We got it through it
- 24:08Speaker 2: in there.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's I think that's my first hood movie ever saw.
- 24:12Speaker 1: That was one of the movies that my aunt had
- 24:14Speaker 1: on VCRs. Okay, let me see the theaters. Theaters came
- 24:18Speaker 1: ninety one, so I was eight. Yeah, that's I was
- 24:21Speaker 1: so young that I thought Ricky died for real. And
- 24:24Speaker 1: I saw him on the Tonight Show. I did not
- 24:27Speaker 1: in cry. I was scared, though, like I was. I
- 24:30Speaker 1: was sad. And the first time I watched it, I
- 24:32Speaker 1: watched the Tonight Show and he was on there, and
- 24:34Speaker 1: I was like, I think it was our senior Hall.
- 24:38Speaker 1: He was probably one of the Yeah, I think it
- 24:39Speaker 1: was our senior Hall. And I was like, Ricky, but
- 24:44Speaker 1: that might be the best Hood.
- 24:46Speaker 3: That's the best hood drama has to be. I think
- 24:50Speaker 3: let me talk about him, let me out, let me out.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Though noboy didn't even answer him.
- 24:57Speaker 2: He lets him out.
- 24:58Speaker 1: He just pulled over. You knew what was about to happen.
- 25:00Speaker 1: No boy was a good guy man, he was. He
- 25:03Speaker 1: wasn't gonna let it fly.
- 25:04Speaker 3: No, turn your punk ass over. They gonna they gonna
- 25:14Speaker 3: get you. You killed my brother, man.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I can't, I can't let it and this and this
- 25:22Speaker 1: is like, not only even if you're not a hood
- 25:26Speaker 1: person or a gang person, that action could turn you
- 25:30Speaker 1: into that for sure. But in that arena you got,
- 25:34Speaker 1: I have to try and kill you. I have to.
- 25:38Speaker 3: I ain't got no choice but to kill you, to
- 25:41Speaker 3: kill you, it's not negotiable.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I'm going to kill you or you're gonna kill me, exactly.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm not just gonna go to work.
- 25:49Speaker 2: And I ain't got no job, so easy for me
- 25:51Speaker 2: to kill you. No boy was selling drugs.
- 25:54Speaker 1: He was selling drugs.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I ain't got nothing else to do.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Ice Qba has done such a good job of playing
- 26:00Speaker 1: version of dough boy for his whole dough Boys. Are
- 26:05Speaker 1: we what was it? Are we there yet? Yeah? Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 1: he just plays a straight version of the boy all
- 26:11Speaker 1: grown up you goodbye? That he grew up in the
- 26:13Speaker 1: hood and he turned his life around. Now he's in
- 26:15Speaker 1: the burbs. Okay, so if we can include comedies, I'm
- 26:19Speaker 1: gonna go Friday Perfect. That was his cube again, ice
- 26:23Speaker 1: Cube again. I feel like that, and I like that
- 26:28Speaker 1: they were in the hood, but they weren't like necessarily poor.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Don't you worry about Lee. I know she's breathing hard
- 26:35Speaker 1: me as an old dog. We in the mics, you
- 26:37Speaker 1: got them with the heavy breathing going on. She's fine,
- 26:43Speaker 1: she's fine. Don't worry. We like dogs are welcome. Oh yeah,
- 26:46Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah, man, yeah, cats don't worry because you
- 26:51Speaker 1: can't even relax you're so worried about breathing.
- 26:56Speaker 2: She's moving, she's in the podcast. She's going on.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Let her rom for a senior dog. She walking around around.
- 27:06Speaker 1: She's like, man, I got to keep mute, but just
- 27:08Speaker 1: don't wipe my butt. But they weren't They weren't well off,
- 27:13Speaker 1: but they weren't poor like him and his parents. His
- 27:16Speaker 1: dad worked a job, his mom worked a job. His
- 27:19Speaker 1: sister I don't think she worked, but you don't you know,
- 27:23Speaker 1: they just was regular in l A. But the neighborhood
- 27:25Speaker 1: was sketchy. The Neighborhood was sketchy, Big Porm, big worm.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I don't know your name.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Uh.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I just talked to my kids about that. They haven't
- 27:32Speaker 1: seen Friday, and I'm like, well, we have to make
- 27:34Speaker 1: sure you watch it this time. Yeah, like as a
- 27:36Speaker 1: black person, and nobody cares if it came out before
- 27:39Speaker 1: you're old, before you're born. For that movie, you gotta see.
- 27:43Speaker 3: It because I think that's a that's a that's a
- 27:45Speaker 3: movie that crosses generational lines in terms of.
- 27:48Speaker 1: How funny it is, absolutely and it holds up. It
- 27:50Speaker 1: holds up extremely. None of that comedy is I mean,
- 27:53Speaker 1: some of it's nineteen ninety three, like Chris Tucker's antics,
- 27:56Speaker 1: like the way he was talking, but that's really just
- 27:58Speaker 1: Chris Tucker. Ye. But yeah, so I'm going Friday.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna go Juice. Juice, great hood, classic, very quotable,
- 28:10Speaker 3: very dope. They in the Hood were on the East coast.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Now you know we we we're dipping out of la
- 28:16Speaker 3: in Harlem, I believe.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And it's very hood, very dramatic.
- 28:23Speaker 1: And Tupac was so good. He was great as the villain.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Maybe you know what I am crazy.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I was like when you first called me that, I
- 28:32Speaker 3: was kind of tripping, right, but you know what, You're right,
- 28:38Speaker 3: I am crazy, and you know what else, I don't
- 28:40Speaker 3: give a fuck.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I don't give a fuck about you. I don't give
- 28:45Speaker 2: a fuck about steal a fuck about right here.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I don't give a fuck about myself. What I was like,
- 28:51Speaker 3: really crazy, I ain't ship and you're less of a
- 28:55Speaker 3: man than me. So whenever I decided that you ain't ship,
- 29:01Speaker 3: so be it.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I wish I could have saw his whole career me too,
- 29:07Speaker 1: Like what could he have done?
- 29:10Speaker 2: Me too?
- 29:11Speaker 1: Because you see what Snoop did up until the inauguration, right,
- 29:15Speaker 1: and he you know, he's at the the movies all
- 29:19Speaker 1: that stuff. Like Tupac as an artist was great as
- 29:22Speaker 1: a poet. As an actor, he's a really good rapper actor,
- 29:27Speaker 1: Like he really was a theater kid poet.
- 29:29Speaker 3: He's a in my book, he's an actor first, really, yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 3: because he was he was already acting before the rap game.
- 29:37Speaker 1: So oh I didn't know that.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, because he grew up going to those school of
- 29:40Speaker 2: the arts, so they know that.
- 29:42Speaker 1: But I thought he was poetry, poetry and dance.
- 29:44Speaker 3: So when I saw Juice, that was my intro to
- 29:49Speaker 3: him before music.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't. I didn't.
- 29:51Speaker 3: It didn't register that he was in digital Underground and
- 29:54Speaker 3: you know the same song.
- 29:56Speaker 2: None of that register.
- 29:57Speaker 3: I went and saw Juice and was like, who was
- 29:59Speaker 3: this the whole cast outside of Steel.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I was just like, who it is guy?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, Yeah, that was the first time
- 30:06Speaker 3: seeing apps. That was my first time seeing Omar Khalil Kane.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Wait did Omar did? Did that come out before Higher Learning? No?
- 30:13Speaker 1: That was that was before High Learned. It was Juice
- 30:15Speaker 1: was ninety two. I think I saw higher Laney two.
- 30:18Speaker 2: High Learning was ninety five.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw Higher Learning four Juoes. I saw both
- 30:25Speaker 1: chill chill chill. I saw both, and I saw both
- 30:27Speaker 1: in the nineties. I just saw higher my I had
- 30:30Speaker 1: higher learning.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Juice came out so so long before.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Why and higher learning stuff because of Remy and and
- 30:40Speaker 1: that was your intro to Omar apps. So you didn't
- 30:43Speaker 1: even see the program. I saw the program. Omar was
- 30:46Speaker 1: in there. Yeah, I remember the program. When was that
- 30:49Speaker 1: where you was that?
- 30:51Speaker 2: I want to say the program was like ninety two
- 30:52Speaker 2: ninety three.
- 30:53Speaker 1: They kind of learned together.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Program is one of my favorite sports from ball time.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Yeah, Omar was in that, so that might have been
- 30:59Speaker 2: your intro.
- 30:59Speaker 1: To open probably was. I definitely saw the program before
- 31:01Speaker 1: I saw Higher learning. But yeah, so also higher learning
- 31:05Speaker 1: is this if the boy doesn't die in uh.
- 31:10Speaker 3: He's not do boy high learning. He's way more militant.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You could become militant. You could go from gangs to militant.
- 31:18Speaker 1: His character wasn't different. He was just more on the
- 31:20Speaker 1: pro black thing. But he was like, the gangs is
- 31:23Speaker 1: killing us, brother, we got to come together. That's all
- 31:26Speaker 1: he is, boy, is he let me see your I
- 31:29Speaker 1: d do boy absolutely would have said that to a cop.
- 31:32Speaker 2: So basically what you're saying is he's just always ice.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Cube for sure. That's I mean, that's we're not It's
- 31:38Speaker 1: not that he's always dough boy. He's always ice cube
- 31:41Speaker 1: for sure. That's what it is. Because well, to me,
- 31:43Speaker 1: dough boy, ice cube ice cube. No boy ain't going
- 31:46Speaker 1: to college, true, true, but him in n w A
- 31:50Speaker 1: and him and boys in the hood.
- 31:51Speaker 2: He's not gonna put no chemicals in his head.
- 31:54Speaker 1: What you mean, high learning?
- 31:56Speaker 3: Ice cube is not gonna put no Jared Curly in
- 31:58Speaker 3: his head. On tone, he's pro black, he's gonna keep
- 32:02Speaker 3: it throwed out.
- 32:03Speaker 1: He had a jerk cer on high learned, didn't he know?
- 32:05Speaker 1: He had a frow, straight up fro.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't be pro black militant with a Jerry
- 32:12Speaker 3: kerl Are you kidding me?
- 32:14Speaker 1: Imagine doctor Umar had curl All right, am, I yeah,
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna go New Jack City, Yes me, brown Man,
- 32:28Speaker 1: New Jack City is so good. And Wesley snipes that
- 32:30Speaker 1: was when he was he was in his bad.
- 32:33Speaker 2: He was perfect.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I love him. I love the movie. I love the
- 32:37Speaker 1: court scene, I love the dog everything but the iced
- 32:40Speaker 1: tea scene. We talked about it well, that she is
- 32:42Speaker 1: so bad my Dick's.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Heart, Yo, whoa?
- 32:46Speaker 1: And I'm not even a pause person. Whoa?
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yo has Pauls Central whoa?
- 32:53Speaker 3: Even if I was laying in them trash bags beat up,
- 32:56Speaker 3: I'd be like, whoa, you want to do one your
- 33:03Speaker 3: dips home while you're looking at me and these trash
- 33:06Speaker 3: bags with my shirt.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Open hold on, Absolutely not.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I don't know why they kept that in the Old
- 33:14Speaker 3: Man at the end, he had place.
- 33:29Speaker 1: And the other thing I loved about Nino Brown he
- 33:32Speaker 1: Loki was talking about Reaganomics for sure in that courtroom.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Absolutely like brother I'm not I'm not bringing this stuff
- 33:37Speaker 1: in and it.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Was just like, I'm not the one flying that ship
- 33:40Speaker 2: in here. None of his owns a poppy feet.
- 33:44Speaker 1: It's right, though, Miss Hawkins. Wesley Sniper's murdered in that
- 33:53Speaker 1: he had. I wish he would have just paid his
- 33:56Speaker 1: taxes me too, because he missed he had yours.
- 34:00Speaker 2: He has a great diverse career.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I feel like he's one of the most diverse black
- 34:08Speaker 3: movie stars we've ever had, even more so than.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Denzel I was Denzel's not that diverse.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Right, because because Wesley has done comedy. Yes, he's done
- 34:17Speaker 3: action movie where he just straight up action.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Before Dizzel got to the action, he dabbled in it.
- 34:22Speaker 3: But he was mainly like dramas and then he came
- 34:24Speaker 3: with Equalized but already a comic book hero, superhero does comedy.
- 34:29Speaker 3: He dressed in drag.
- 34:31Speaker 1: For two long SWU he did that.
- 34:33Speaker 3: He's been a villain, he's been a good guy, he's
- 34:35Speaker 3: been a square, he's been.
- 34:36Speaker 1: White man can't jump. Sidney Dean is one of my
- 34:39Speaker 1: favorite characters. Yeah, he is so funny. Yeah, Okay, wings
- 34:46Speaker 1: are here for the hot one. Whoa, whoa, whoa Denzel's overrated. Hey,
- 34:52Speaker 1: we're not saying I'm not saying that, saying that uncle,
- 34:54Speaker 1: you don't even bring that up in him. We're not
- 34:56Speaker 1: saying that. You're saying he says in his laning, and
- 34:58Speaker 1: he does his thing. Could just settle doesn't. He's not.
- 35:03Speaker 1: He doesn't play a lot of different roles, but not
- 35:05Speaker 1: overrated A list movie star.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Yeah, don't don't slip. Now, don't come in here with
- 35:11Speaker 3: that time out? Can we put him on time out?
- 35:16Speaker 3: Kidding kid, don't come in here with you.
- 35:18Speaker 1: But nah, I think, And he doesn't really get mentioned
- 35:21Speaker 1: with the great he doesn't.
- 35:22Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 35:23Speaker 1: He doesn't. I don't know why because when.
- 35:26Speaker 3: You when you talk about an actor acting, Wesley Snipes
- 35:29Speaker 3: is even Kevin Hart, the true story story firing that
- 35:35Speaker 3: man no facial hair.
- 35:38Speaker 1: He was. He was basically the character from Paid in Full,
- 35:43Speaker 1: which is on my list as well. I can smell
- 35:46Speaker 1: a Nigga with money. He basically that person, but over
- 35:49Speaker 1: episode instead of just a movie. But anyway, man, Wesley.

- 36:06Speaker 3: but it's just so epic and well done.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Locally, well, it's a very well done movie. Perfect timing, acting,
- 36:13Speaker 1: performances on story out poets based on al Pole, which
- 36:17Speaker 1: at that time in my life, I was really interested

- 37:05Speaker 3: was great and I love man. What Harris, he's perfect different. Yeah,
- 37:10Speaker 3: he was like body different, that's you, man, that's you.
- 37:15Speaker 3: And was great though that moment when they kidnapped his brother,
- 37:22Speaker 3: anybody looks at me, funny, owes me money is fucking dead.
- 37:29Speaker 3: They get him a little man man, he was just
- 37:31Speaker 3: sitting there just processing it all. Good man, so good quality.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I think Dave Dash did that. He produced it, He produced.
- 37:42Speaker 3: The sure, Charlestone the Third directed it and it was
- 37:45Speaker 3: just great. But it didn't make a lot of money.
- 37:48Speaker 3: But I feel like it's one of those movies. The money,
- 37:50Speaker 3: the money don't make the movie. No, No, it went
- 37:52Speaker 3: plat him in the hood, for sure. Everybody's seen it,
- 37:55Speaker 3: for sure.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It's great. All right, So that's what six let me think.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Don't look at the chat man.
- 38:03Speaker 2: No, no, I'm not.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I'm not be giving away. I don't feel as strongly
- 38:05Speaker 1: about the other two fridays as our dude here. Man,
- 38:09Speaker 1: you don't like those over two or three? Don't bring
- 38:11Speaker 1: those over here two?
- 38:12Speaker 2: Two?

- 38:25Speaker 1: I guess I'll go minister Society. Then oh yeah, I'll
- 38:28Speaker 1: go back to in there. Man, great, get back to
- 38:33Speaker 1: l A.
- 38:33Speaker 2: We're back in La now.
- 38:34Speaker 1: They were in the streets and people were scared of
- 38:36Speaker 1: l A, mostly because of the movies LA. I'm gonna
- 38:42Speaker 1: get shot as soon as I stepped, so that step
- 38:44Speaker 1: on the sor dog. When I was talking to Nate
- 38:47Speaker 1: Jackson about moving uh to l A and he was like,
- 38:51Speaker 1: you can't wear your Mariners hat in certain parts of
- 38:53Speaker 1: the city. And I was like, and I had a
- 38:55Speaker 1: grey Mariners. I was like, what, I don't Mariners? What's
- 39:00Speaker 1: with them? And he was telling me how the baseball
- 39:02Speaker 1: teams are like assigned to certain games, so the color
- 39:05Speaker 1: of the hat doesn't matter. It's like the logo. Bro.
- 39:09Speaker 1: He was like, you're south of the ten. Just don't
- 39:11Speaker 1: do it. I was like, I don't think I need
- 39:13Speaker 1: hats anymore. It's like ten, ten, twelve Mariners hats. And
- 39:18Speaker 1: I just was like, make you not want to wear nothing? Man.
- 39:22Speaker 1: And you don't know, like nobody tells you what part
- 39:25Speaker 1: of La La is huge, Like you know that's in
- 39:28Speaker 1: a section of La south central LA really mostly. And
- 39:33Speaker 1: I was living in the Valley. I was living in Mercida. Man,
- 39:36Speaker 1: don'tbody care.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Man.
- 39:37Speaker 1: There no gangs out there, man, it's just working people.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Minister society made Los Angeles terrifying.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Like boys in the hood.
- 39:46Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, it's rough out here. But I
- 39:47Speaker 3: was just like, yeah, you know what I'm saying, it's
- 39:49Speaker 3: rough out here. But Minister Society. I was just like, Yo,
- 39:52Speaker 3: it's crazy out there. What the hell is going on?
- 39:57Speaker 3: That's when I was like, what the hell is happening
- 39:59Speaker 3: out there?
- 40:00Speaker 1: And then that's the same time, like the team the
- 40:03Speaker 1: news is talking about it. You later on you have
- 40:06Speaker 1: the Rodney King thing, so you're like, well, then something
- 40:09Speaker 1: it has to be true there.
- 40:11Speaker 3: I was like, La is infested with just gangs and murder.
- 40:16Speaker 2: That's what I now. Was like, Man, it's crazy out there.
- 40:19Speaker 2: What's happening.
- 40:20Speaker 3: We got racism, we got police brutality, we got blass
- 40:24Speaker 3: killing blacks.
- 40:24Speaker 2: The Mexicans is tripping. What's happening?
- 40:29Speaker 1: Man?
- 40:29Speaker 3: I was like, who, Yeah, for sure, maybe be making
- 40:33Speaker 3: movies and stuff.
- 40:34Speaker 1: But dad man, So yeah, Minster Society, Okay, good choice,
- 40:40Speaker 1: that's a good time. I'm going.
- 40:42Speaker 3: I got to get this up in there. Bloody and
- 40:44Speaker 3: blood out.
- 40:47Speaker 1: You never seen it? Did you?
- 40:49Speaker 3: What is this? You never seen bloody and blood out
- 40:54Speaker 3: at about? It's the story about three friends growing up
- 40:58Speaker 3: in La East, Lost Angeles, Mexican.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I've heard of this, Yeah, Chase always talks about this. Yeah.
- 41:04Speaker 3: So they was all on some hood ship and then
- 41:06Speaker 3: they go they separate, directions in Life and it's long.
- 41:10Speaker 2: It's like three hours. It's good though, it's good.
- 41:15Speaker 3: It's a good three. It's a good three. And you
- 41:17Speaker 3: just see their transit because because for me personally, when
- 41:20Speaker 3: when you watch American Me, which is also another dope
- 41:23Speaker 3: hood film about the Mexican mafia, I like Blood In
- 41:28Speaker 3: Blood Out a little bit better because it's more of
- 41:30Speaker 3: a character art throughout, like those characters transitions. It's a
- 41:35Speaker 3: little bit more lived in than American Meat American Met.
- 41:38Speaker 3: They were just like, nah, we're hard, we stay hard.
- 41:41Speaker 3: This is what the fuck it is. Prison rules, that's sick.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Fuck this, fuck you, no games play.
- 41:49Speaker 1: But but Blood.
- 41:50Speaker 3: In Blood Out, it was like, oh he changed, Oh
- 41:54Speaker 3: he's different as Oh he went that pad.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Oh he struggled with drugs.
- 41:59Speaker 3: And then he overcame. So it was like, yeah, they
- 42:02Speaker 3: hood classics.
- 42:03Speaker 1: To me, I'm okay, I think it's my last one.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna go South Central.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I know it usually on people's rais.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I watched that movie so many times. O G.

- 42:25Speaker 1: Love South Central. Watching that movie, a lot.
- 42:29Speaker 3: It was sou You know what I like about South Central.
- 42:31Speaker 3: It was a super low budget. You could tell you
- 42:34Speaker 3: had fun.
- 42:35Speaker 1: But they was acting.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Yeah, they was working with the scraps.
- 42:39Speaker 3: They was yeah, man, that little boy, he will show
- 42:43Speaker 3: you right, ray, we're down more deuces than more squads straight.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Like that that what show you right y?
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh my god, cuts trashed. They have him. The black
- 43:04Speaker 1: kids had that though for just sew me a picture
- 43:07Speaker 1: with his dad was just like like, just cut me
- 43:11Speaker 1: ball then no blend at all. Bobby Johnson Glenn Plumber
- 43:19Speaker 1: killed the role. His transition was fired. It was so
- 43:24Speaker 1: good to me, and to me it was it was
- 43:27Speaker 1: really authentic. I mean obvious. I don't know about l A,
- 43:29Speaker 1: but I believe these people.
- 43:32Speaker 2: I believe in him on both transition.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. I believe o G.
- 43:37Speaker 3: And I believed him because when he was in prison
- 43:39Speaker 3: and you just see him go through the prison life
- 43:41Speaker 3: and then him learning more than it was just like
- 43:44Speaker 3: a yes, his intense sale, you gonna listen.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Now, my boy. He was like because of that role
- 44:00Speaker 1: as well.
- 44:02Speaker 3: That was Carl Lumbley, who's gonna be in the new
- 44:05Speaker 3: Captain America joint.
- 44:06Speaker 1: But he was just like, is that Bradley Bradley.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I know, I know his real name is Carl lu Lumbley.
- 44:15Speaker 1: But he played Isaiah Bradley in the Captain America TV show.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you go that ship.
- 44:24Speaker 1: That's a big civil rights boys.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Good And they saved Bobby Johnson for mimicant his booty taken.
- 44:32Speaker 3: He was like, he oh the Arian Brotherhood, fifty bo
- 44:36Speaker 3: Arian interest, motherfucker.
- 44:39Speaker 2: It's just like, yo, chill out, Arian Brotherhood. Just just
- 44:44Speaker 2: take your foot off.
- 44:45Speaker 1: The Captain America Jacobs, Lord, did you see John Legend
- 44:51Speaker 1: singing ordinary people with the fire the prisoners.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I saw what he was doing.
- 44:56Speaker 1: I kept scrolling.
- 44:58Speaker 3: He said, I don't like I don't like people getting
- 45:01Speaker 3: sung to personally, like if you're not on the stage
- 45:04Speaker 3: giving it to the crowd. And I would feel so
- 45:07Speaker 3: awkward if I was a fireman and I'm just sitting
- 45:09Speaker 3: there Jake and Slow with just on and every people.
- 45:14Speaker 1: You sitting there with your your fireman suspendings on such
- 45:19Speaker 1: a funny you can slow it was somebody said, I know,
- 45:26Speaker 1: like I think it was embryo. Like, I know somebody
- 45:28Speaker 1: probably requested it, but you gotta say, nah, man, it's
- 45:30Speaker 1: kind of just ain't really the right time. It was
- 45:33Speaker 1: just like, yeah, I'm just like, they gotta go back
- 45:36Speaker 1: to jail after this. But John Legends sang to us, man, maybe.
- 45:41Speaker 2: I'm eating I'm eating a sandwich.
- 45:43Speaker 3: I'm like, man, we can't get these inside because I'm

- 46:19Speaker 1: not a hood but not I mean, under our criteria,
- 46:22Speaker 1: it's it's a kind of like a coming of age. Yeah,
