- 3:28Speaker 1: to go to the event, makes one hundred dot com
- 3:31Speaker 1: general emission tickets you can purchase there and some VIP
- 3:34Speaker 1: tickets as well, which involves bumper cars bumping with the
- 3:38Speaker 1: bumper cars. All right, Katie, you got this list that
- 3:41Speaker 1: you want to tell everybody about, just mostly because it
- 3:43Speaker 1: makes you sound intelligent some of them.
- 3:45Speaker 2: But I think everyone can kind of relate to one
- 3:48Speaker 2: of these twelve seemingly awkward behaviors that might just mean
- 3:53Speaker 2: you're highly intelligent, and a couple that yes, rang true
- 3:57Speaker 2: with me specifically because I deal with.
- 4:00Speaker 1: This so much. You're so awkward.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I am so awkward. But one of them is that
- 4:05Speaker 2: rehearsing conversations before they happen, Like I get into my
- 4:09Speaker 2: head so much about what I'm going to say, how
- 4:12Speaker 2: I'm going to say it, how someone's going to perceive it.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I don't know how you deal with conversations, but I
- 4:17Speaker 2: will work it out in my head and then preparing
- 4:20Speaker 2: your answer.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Katie hit me with the whole thing this morning. It
- 4:24Speaker 1: wasn't even high. Good morning, how are you? The first
- 4:27Speaker 1: thing that she hit me with this morning was are
- 4:29Speaker 1: we okay? It was one of those are we okay?
- 4:31Speaker 2: On?
- 4:31Speaker 1: It was oh my god, no, it's too early for this.
- 4:35Speaker 2: But again, I just have to like make.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And then you even told me I did, You're like
- 4:39Speaker 1: I was, I was thinking about what I want to say.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm like Katie, everything's fine.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, So going into something like just breaking down every
- 4:48Speaker 2: possible scenario and then also.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I've done that though, I think that's beneficial.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I think, yeah, exactly. I think that a lot of
- 4:54Speaker 2: people do that. They want to make sure they put
- 4:56Speaker 2: their best foot forward, you know. But then something that
- 4:59Speaker 2: again really resonated with me is when you leave a conversation, man,
- 5:03Speaker 2: you're gonna play that over in your head for an
- 5:05Speaker 2: hour or two after two and I should have.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Said this, I don't do that, said this, and I
- 5:10Speaker 1: would have said this, I don't do that a lot. No,
- 5:12Speaker 1: I do that all the time. The only time I
- 5:14Speaker 1: do that is, like, you know me, I have a
- 5:17Speaker 1: hard time doing any sort of serious conversation. And my wife,
- 5:20Speaker 1: Nick Knack, knows that because I'm always formulating a joke
- 5:23Speaker 1: or a singer or a comeback. And there's there's been
- 5:26Speaker 1: times where I've walked away from conversations and I'm like, damn,
- 5:29Speaker 1: that was a good singer. Should used the singer. No, exactly,
- 5:32Speaker 1: that's the only time that happens well, And I think.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That also, it's that we are so critical of ourselves
- 5:40Speaker 2: because we speak for a living. So it's a lot
- 5:42Speaker 2: of that too, where I'm like, oh, this could have
- 5:44Speaker 2: ended so much better.
- 5:45Speaker 1: These are signs that you're intelligent.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Another one is you just can't go with it. Maybe
- 5:51Speaker 2: this one feels familiar to you, Jeremy. But someone proposes
- 5:54Speaker 2: a plan, everyone else seems ready to move forward, and you're.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Like, wait a second, wait, I'm not ready yet.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I don't know all the movie arts like, I need
- 6:01Speaker 2: I need more before I can be completely on.
- 6:04Speaker 1: No, no, no, Generally my thing is behind the scenes.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I go, that's stupid. Yeah, that's a stupid move. Why
- 6:13Speaker 1: would they do that? That's stupid. That's generally in my
- 6:16Speaker 1: head truly.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But if you can't just get on board with the
- 6:20Speaker 2: way the whole group is moving, you know, then you're difficult.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I have an again, your brain has actually a low
- 6:29Speaker 2: tolerance for fuzzy reasoning. It can't incompetent or incomplete information.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It just can't deal with logical now. It rains listening
- 6:43Speaker 1: to reasoning or experience anyway, move.
- 6:46Speaker 2: On, Okay, So whatever this is another one.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Small talk.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Okay, so discussing the weather, how are the kids? You know, like,
- 6:56Speaker 2: what do you do for work? All of that makes
- 6:58Speaker 2: you want to climb out of yours.
- 7:01Speaker 1: It makes me want to plug in a toaster and
- 7:03Speaker 1: get into a bathtub full of water.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Give you a real topic, one with substance, and it's
- 7:10Speaker 2: off to the races, right.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Like small top.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Yes, you could talk for hours, you really could, but
- 7:15Speaker 2: it has to be a good conversation.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Just don't talk to me. I would be better off
- 7:20Speaker 1: if you just didn't say anything to me. Well and honestly,
- 7:23Speaker 1: so what grade of a kid's in now? You don't care? No,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you just don't care. Bring up the little ones. Did
- 7:31Speaker 1: you have a good time? Are you happy to be back? Yes? Yes,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm good. It was great. I'm glad to be here.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I think those big ones, those are the big ones
- 7:39Speaker 2: that are there. A few other ones are just like
- 7:41Speaker 2: you know, uh, as far as just like hold on.
- 7:44Speaker 2: The first one was the one that you were the
- 7:47Speaker 2: hitting pads in the world that expects quick replies.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I think that.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That's one now that's really kind of just amped up
- 7:53Speaker 2: because of our instant like we need everything.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Instance, well everything you're always accessible to. Yes, yes, I've
- 8:00Speaker 1: tried very hard with that one. Now to hit pause
- 8:02Speaker 1: on myself before I do any sort of replies. I'll
- 8:05Speaker 1: sit on things now, yeah, for a little bit longer. Yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I've given myself kind of some cutoff times now in
- 8:11Speaker 1: the afternoons, like you know, five o'clock rolls around, No
- 8:14Speaker 1: more work stuff, yeah, you know, no more replies, none
- 8:17Speaker 1: of that. It's this is me time now.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Well, and the quick reply is what I mean again,
- 8:21Speaker 2: It's like, think of.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Your sitting well, those are the ones that get you
- 8:23Speaker 1: in trouble.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Well, you're sitting in the meeting and a question is
- 8:27Speaker 2: asked and everybody jumps on to answer because we are
- 8:30Speaker 2: trained to think that if we don't, something's wrong with us,
- 8:32Speaker 2: Like if we don't have the quick reply, then we
- 8:35Speaker 2: don't know. And then people look at us funny, like
- 8:37Speaker 2: why didn't you answer? When actually you're just taking it all.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Just absorbing it. You're just like I love watching the
- 8:43Speaker 1: people that just like agree and answer right away, yeah
- 8:46Speaker 1: and just kind of repeat what the person just said.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And you're like, you didn't come up with any answers,
- 8:50Speaker 1: You just repeated what that person just said, well, yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 1: it was so funny to me.
- 8:53Speaker 2: You are kind of just sitting back and watching. Your
- 8:55Speaker 2: brain is doing what they call quality control. So when
- 8:59Speaker 2: you look get it actually on the outside looking in,
- 9:01Speaker 2: people who do take a second to answer their teemed
- 9:04Speaker 2: is more confident, trustworthy, and competent who respond that you
- 9:10Speaker 2: what do you mean?
- 9:11Speaker 1: I feel like it's definitely me.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well I love how you gave yourself a bat
- 9:17Speaker 2: on the bed. I think, honestly, I do try and
- 9:20Speaker 2: not just respond right away because I am kind of
- 9:24Speaker 2: a little cautious, especially in group settings. I mean, something
- 9:28Speaker 2: about me is I am very like when we're on
- 9:31Speaker 2: the air here talking and it's just us three in
- 9:33Speaker 2: the room, and it's just like you'll find out everything
- 9:35Speaker 2: you know about me because I have like not even
- 9:38Speaker 2: no filter. But I feel like I'm pretty transparent, but
- 9:40Speaker 2: out there it's it is but with other kind of
- 9:46Speaker 2: introverted like you have to get to know me before
- 9:48Speaker 2: I'm really that, you know, before you get that Katie.
- 9:53Speaker 1: And then you get that Katie and again you want
- 9:56Speaker 1: to plug in that toe.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You love me, you love it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I'm reading this story here about Cherry Creek's Innovation campus
- 10:06Speaker 1: in Centennial completing a major expansion that will increase the
- 10:11Speaker 1: number of students able to receive hands on career training.
- 10:15Speaker 1: The campuses is going to offer twenty five different career pathways,
- 10:19Speaker 1: including nine new options like automation, Aerospace technician, EMT, VET assistant,
- 10:27Speaker 1: h VAC, welding, bakery and pastry katie, film and motion design.
- 10:33Speaker 1: The expansion costs about one hundred million bucks one hundred
- 10:36Speaker 1: and thirty thousand square feet. YadA, YadA, YadA. But I
- 10:39Speaker 1: love it because it's all like hands on hard work
- 10:43Speaker 1: in blue collar type jobs that we need so bad
- 10:46Speaker 1: right now. Nothing ai related in here that I'm reading well,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and I like.
- 10:51Speaker 2: It's a technical school essentially, but for a lot of
- 10:54Speaker 2: different things.
- 10:55Speaker 1: A lot of things, one which is in your hands.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Believe it or not. You can make a lot of
- 11:00Speaker 1: money doing this kind of stuff. Yeah, sadly, like all
- 11:04Speaker 1: the technicians and the HVAC people will probably go to
- 11:06Speaker 1: build data centers, electricians, all that welding. But at least
- 11:10Speaker 1: you're out there, you know, learning a career where you
- 11:12Speaker 1: can use your hands and easily make six figures a
- 11:15Speaker 1: year easy.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You're gonna need to, You're gonna need to that's not
- 11:19Speaker 2: even a flex anymore.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Easy, Yeah, not to mention, like if you work your
- 11:22Speaker 1: butt off, like start your own welding company or HVAC
- 11:25Speaker 1: company or bakery or bakery, Yes you can call it
- 11:29Speaker 1: squeeze my buns.
- 11:31Speaker 2: You've worked work today, I'm already.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yo, head on down to squeeze my buns and get
- 11:37Speaker 1: some French bread for spaghetti tonight. All right, But like
- 11:40Speaker 1: I said, no AI nothing about chat GPT here. It
- 11:44Speaker 1: is everywhere right now at Chat, and the people are
- 11:47Speaker 1: using it for crazy stuff. Well.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I like that we are thinking outside the box with
- 11:52Speaker 2: it though, because I mean you look at chat GPT
- 11:54Speaker 2: and writing emails is a big thing people do with it, right,
- 11:59Speaker 2: Like the reasons people use it are kind of m underwhelming,
- 12:04Speaker 2: I think, Like I was actually looking at this post
- 12:07Speaker 2: where was talking about all the fascinating things that AI
- 12:10Speaker 2: can do, and I'm like, why haven't I used it
- 12:11Speaker 2: for this yet? Somebody said that they dropped a screw
- 12:15Speaker 2: on a very like patterned carpet, like a lot of it, right,
- 12:22Speaker 2: so they took a picture, They took a picture, uploaded
- 12:25Speaker 2: it to Chat GPT, circled it. Because what it does
- 12:29Speaker 2: is it diagnoses the pixels, so it separates all the
- 12:32Speaker 2: pixels and looks at it and it can come up
- 12:34Speaker 2: with exactly where it is. There was a few instances
- 12:37Speaker 2: of this. Somebody said that they were in a health
- 12:40Speaker 2: store and they couldn't find the specific vitamins they were
- 12:43Speaker 2: looking for, so they took a picture of all of
- 12:45Speaker 2: the bottles of vitamins and chat GPT was able to
- 12:48Speaker 2: zero in on where that specific had no idea.
- 12:51Speaker 1: That's brilliant. I will say. When I was finishing my basement,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I took shots of the basement without the walls painted
- 12:57Speaker 1: or the carpet in, and I ran it through Chat
- 13:00Speaker 1: and I said, make the walls this color, make this
- 13:02Speaker 1: wall this color, make the carpet this color. I even
- 13:04Speaker 1: uploaded a picture of the carpet I was thinking about,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and it beat poop, pop poop, and it made the
- 13:08Speaker 1: room look finished. And I compared it to the actual
- 13:12Speaker 1: finished room when it was all said and done, and
- 13:14Speaker 1: damn it was spot on. It was really really neat
- 13:19Speaker 1: to see how the room would look on your phone,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you know, especially like when you're buying carpet, they give
- 13:23Speaker 1: you that little square, you know, and you bring it
- 13:25Speaker 1: home and you're like, I guess it'll look fine exactly
- 13:27Speaker 1: with chat it like laid it out across the entire
- 13:30Speaker 1: room and you're able to see it. Yeah, did you
- 13:33Speaker 1: see what the the zers are using the chat for now?
- 13:36Speaker 1: What knick knack was telling me about this yesterday? So
- 13:39Speaker 1: they will lay out three different tops, three different bottoms,
- 13:44Speaker 1: three different pairs of shoes, take a picture and say,
- 13:47Speaker 1: chat plan my outfits for the week, like the color combinations.
- 13:51Speaker 1: How will I look in these? And it'll spit out
- 13:54Speaker 1: what your wardrobe will look like for the week, like
- 13:56Speaker 1: if things match up? Yes, yeah, you can just throw
- 13:59Speaker 1: any of your shirts down, any of your pants, say
- 14:01Speaker 1: create outfits for me? And I wish we could have
- 14:04Speaker 1: done to do that. Yeah, oh yeah we.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Wanted clueless for abbs.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Well you can do it. Guess what you can do
- 14:10Speaker 1: it now? And Lord knows you need the help. Eh,
- 14:16Speaker 1: look cute today, little ab sweater?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Oh no comments?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Silence Stephening homie.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Thanks for hanging out with us this morning. Jeremy, Katie
- 14:28Speaker 1: and Josh
