- 2:18Speaker 1: hype the video and comment.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Let's get let's just get right into it, man.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Some of these stories are coming from places like Hip
- 2:27Speaker 1: Hop DX and Complex and social media. Let's do it same.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So you probably are on social media. You probably pay attention.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Sometimes I'm talking to these people right not you other
- 2:41Speaker 1: guys watch and you might have said to yourself, what
- 2:45Speaker 1: is going on with fifty cent in TI and his family,
- 2:50Speaker 1: Like what's happening? Here's the timeline Because we're not going
- 2:53Speaker 1: to spend a lot of time on this because This
- 2:55Speaker 1: is in a serious rap battle in my opinion, but
- 3:00Speaker 1: we're going to say what's happening. So TI, in an
- 3:04Speaker 1: interview talked about a versus that was allegedly set up
- 3:09Speaker 1: between him and fifty cent to I say allegedly because
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't know. Okay, you can confirm in the comments,
- 3:17Speaker 1: but fifty, I mean, TI said that fifty chickened out
- 3:24Speaker 1: he didn't want to do a versus against him, right,
- 3:28Speaker 1: And so, you know, fifty, who is an internet troll
- 3:33Speaker 1: beyond the other work he does, like on television and
- 3:37Speaker 1: stuff like that, he started trolling, right, but it's sort
- 3:45Speaker 1: of escalated because he posted a picture of Tiny, who
- 3:51Speaker 1: is Tiny from the group Escape, who is TI's wife
- 3:57Speaker 1: and obviously the mother of his children, and his children
- 4:01Speaker 1: are of age. So they started responding, you know, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: t I responded with what I.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Believe is FO disc records. Right.
- 4:14Speaker 1: First one, I was just kind of like, yeah, it's cool,
- 4:18Speaker 1: but I really liked the part where he started talking
- 4:20Speaker 1: about like being a black man. I was like, oh, okay,
- 4:26Speaker 1: t I right, But he dropped four disc records. Then
- 4:30Speaker 1: his son, I don't know his name, y'all, the one
- 4:33Speaker 1: with the pink lips, like that him. You know what
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm talking about, right, I'm not wrong. Just put his
- 4:38Speaker 1: name in the comments. I'll get it right. But nevertheless,
- 4:43Speaker 1: he was hot because he should be. That's his mama, like,
- 4:47Speaker 1: it don't matter what you may feel. You may have
- 4:50Speaker 1: thought that picture was funny also when Fifty posted it,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but that's somebody's mama. That's how people get that's how
- 4:56Speaker 1: you're supposed to get down, right, So he was angry.
- 5:00Speaker 1: He posted some paperwork because I know everybody paying attention
- 5:03Speaker 1: to the this record, but some paperwork on fifty being.
- 5:07Speaker 2: A snitch, which has always kind of happened.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Then, who knows, maybe it's the same paperwork that came
- 5:12Speaker 1: out a while ago that I don't know Joe Ruling
- 5:15Speaker 1: them put out. But then he had a freestyle dissing them.
- 5:20Speaker 1: It was trash. I'm not gonna lie. But then their son,
- 5:24Speaker 1: who like to me, he rapped real like the way
- 5:27Speaker 1: we like rap.
- 5:29Speaker 2: He put out a record called MS. Jackson.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And what I didn't say about the younger son versus
- 5:36Speaker 1: his oldest son is they're talking about fifties moms and
- 5:42Speaker 1: they've been going heavy, especially the younger son, heavy on
- 5:47Speaker 1: fifties moms Now, if you don't know, fifty cents mother
- 5:50Speaker 1: was murdered years ago. I think he might have been
- 5:53Speaker 1: like eight or something like that when that happened. And
- 5:56Speaker 1: TI's son posted a picture of fifty as a young
- 6:00Speaker 1: kid holding up a pitchure. I guess he drew up
- 6:03Speaker 1: his mother and he was like, you're an artist, go
- 6:05Speaker 1: do art, you know, dig your mother up? Can you
- 6:08Speaker 1: be with your mother? And I was like, na, Ti,
- 6:12Speaker 1: you got to stop him on that. Like it's one thing.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It's one thing to talk about, you know, rap skills
- 6:21Speaker 1: or your movements as a businessman, you know, ducking the
- 6:26Speaker 1: versus all that's fair game. But when you start saying,
- 6:31Speaker 1: dig your mama up. Now, I'm not saying fifty gonna
- 6:35Speaker 1: go and try to fight a little kid.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I would hope not. But he's of age enough to know, like.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Maybe should just said that in private, because what it
- 6:47Speaker 1: does is in this situation is making originally it's making
- 6:53Speaker 1: fifty just look like this troll and this bully, because
- 6:56Speaker 1: why bring Tiny into the situation when it's really just
- 7:00Speaker 1: about Ti. He a rapper and he rapping at you,
- 7:03Speaker 1: then that's what it should be. But fifty really stopped
- 7:09Speaker 1: being that guy, even though he didn't stop rapping, he
- 7:12Speaker 1: stopped being the I'm a start a beef and then
- 7:16Speaker 1: we're gonna go back and forth for on records, just
- 7:19Speaker 1: as Jim Jones in them.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Right, So what happened? Fifty didn't write one bar about them?
- 7:28Speaker 1: Now, the same thing could be said here, right, t
- 7:31Speaker 1: I got four songs, his sons then put songs out
- 7:34Speaker 1: like they going hard, and Fifties really responded with tweets
- 7:38Speaker 1: and Instagram posts and stuff like that. But I don't
- 7:41Speaker 1: know why people fall into this trap every time when
- 7:43Speaker 1: it comes to this guy. Pay attention to the movements. Now,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what I think in regards to
- 7:51Speaker 1: fifty and responses, and then we're gonna move on because
- 7:55Speaker 1: I don't care about the gossip. Right, if he ain't
- 7:58Speaker 1: rapping for real, who cares? If you get a song
- 8:03Speaker 1: from fifty, it will be after he's made some kind
- 8:07Speaker 1: of move against t I.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Let's like think about Jim Jones, Jim Jones, Mano Davies
- 8:16Speaker 1: and Fabulous and Fabulous had by far the best verse,
- 8:21Speaker 1: but they all made lyrics about fifty because they you know,
- 8:28Speaker 1: their whole situation started when they were saying Fifty was
- 8:31Speaker 1: wrong for making the documentary about Diddy, and Fifty responded
- 8:37Speaker 1: by saying to Jim Jones, who had the podcast space,
- 8:41Speaker 1: you know you're behind in your rent.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Don't make me buy that place or buy a stake
- 8:47Speaker 2: in it.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And he wound up doing that, and Jim Jones was
- 8:52Speaker 1: still behind and he was locked out.
- 8:57Speaker 2: In all kinds of things. Lights was cut, the lights off,
- 8:59Speaker 2: everything was locked out, okay.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And that's video footage of Jim Jones trying to kick
- 9:06Speaker 1: his way in, which is so stupid.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You're on camera. You're going to court, dog like you're
- 9:10Speaker 2: going to court like this.
- 9:12Speaker 1: This is why I don't like about y'all on the
- 9:15Speaker 1: internet talking about street and hip hop as if it's
- 9:17Speaker 1: the same thing and ignoring business. Dog, you can't do that.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And guess what, maybe you're gonna go on a run
- 9:24Speaker 1: if you're so street. I ain't paying that, Okay, they
- 9:29Speaker 1: gonna come find you and I'm gonna get my money.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So I think fifty would make a move on TI
- 9:38Speaker 1: in some way that would impact TI directly, because I
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't think doing that doing anything against the kids or
- 9:46Speaker 1: Tiny again, don't do that, okay, But T I had
- 9:54Speaker 1: some serious gun charges. I know y'all forgot and some
- 9:58Speaker 1: serious gun charges. So what if there's paperwork and maybe
- 10:02Speaker 1: that's the fifties getting that. But even if he does that,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and I know some people say, well, he still ain't
- 10:07Speaker 1: rapping fifties the type to do that, watch people's reaction
- 10:14Speaker 1: and then rap about it, because he's just going to
- 10:18Speaker 1: rap to confirm Jim Jones is cold trying to get inside.
- 10:22Speaker 2: For the meat. But we saw the video and we
- 10:25Speaker 2: were like, oh, he said that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: So if he got something for TI, he's going to
- 10:31Speaker 1: make that move first. If he was smart, he would
- 10:35Speaker 1: just reveal it, right, I'll push your t with Drake
- 10:40Speaker 1: and his son, like you know while you hiding that boy,
- 10:44Speaker 1: it was like, oh wait, what what is he hiding?
- 10:49Speaker 1: So it could be one of those things where that's
- 10:54Speaker 1: how things play out or they just flame out, right,
- 10:57Speaker 1: Because to be honest, as a real hip hop head,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and I don't even like to use that term, I
- 11:04Speaker 1: feel like I don't take this seriously. I would have
- 11:08Speaker 1: taken it seriously if with the first disc record that
- 11:13Speaker 1: TI put out, fifty followed with a freestyle, then I
- 11:17Speaker 1: would have been like.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Oh, But also I would have preferred.
- 11:21Speaker 1: This happened about twenty years ago when they both were
- 11:26Speaker 1: really active, because let's not forget t. I just got
- 11:30Speaker 1: active again after a failed comedy situation.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I know y'all didn't forget that, did you?
- 11:39Speaker 1: So he got active again, and I don't mind because
- 11:41Speaker 1: I think TI is at his best when he's making
- 11:43Speaker 1: music and his catalog is slept on. He got more
- 11:50Speaker 1: heat than duds. I don't even know if he has
- 11:52Speaker 1: a whack album, to be honest. So there's that. But
- 11:57Speaker 1: we know that fifty as a rapper, he hasn't been
- 12:02Speaker 1: completely active right a verse here verse there is not
- 12:05Speaker 1: necessarily being active. NAS is active, Okay, nas is active.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Fifty is more so like I can still do it.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I do it for business. I do it for exposure, well,
- 12:19Speaker 1: which is all business. He's not rapping for supremacy, right
- 12:25Speaker 1: or to add to his legend as a rapper, fifty
- 12:29Speaker 1: is literally doing things as a brand. Literally, So that's
- 12:35Speaker 1: what I think about it. I mean, y'all tell me
- 12:37Speaker 1: what y'all think. Did you like to dis records that
- 12:40Speaker 1: came from TI and his kids? Do you want fifty
- 12:43Speaker 1: cent to respond or do you not care? Leave your
- 12:48Speaker 1: comments in a comment section below next. So maybe like
- 12:54Speaker 1: two or three years ago, it could be more. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: just don't remember. I didn't know that you could vote
- 13:02Speaker 1: for nominees in the Rock and Rock and Roll Hall
- 13:05Speaker 1: of Fame and any of those fan votes of things
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm passionate about, like music, like sports. I typically put
- 13:16Speaker 1: my vote in because I care right. I also vote
- 13:21Speaker 1: when it comes to government, so back off internet, you know, activists.
- 13:27Speaker 1: But it came up in my email it was time
- 13:31Speaker 1: to vote for the twenty twenty six Rock and Roll
- 13:34Speaker 1: Hall of Fame, and I had no idea who the
- 13:36Speaker 1: nominees were. Just for an example, here are examples of
- 13:42Speaker 1: people who were.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Who else? I think Missy's in there, right, yeah, Missy
- 13:50Speaker 2: Salt and Pepper.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Last year, Jay z Eminem, Tupac, Biggie, Outcast, Tribe, Run,
- 13:56Speaker 1: dmc l L, and Public Enemy. But this year, the
- 14:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty six nominees that aren't all hip hop and
- 14:05Speaker 1: R and B right is rock and Roll Hall of
- 14:08Speaker 1: Fame included the Black Crows, Jeff Buckley, Mariah Carey, Phil Collins,
- 14:16Speaker 1: Melissa Elthradge.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I'm not familiar with her.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Lauren Hill, Billy Idol, Iron, Maiden, Joy Division new Order.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I'm really not familiar with that new addition.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Oasis, Pink, Shade, Shakira, Luther Vandros and Wu Tang Klan
- 14:38Speaker 1: and who did.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I vote for? You?
- 14:41Speaker 1: I think you could only vote for I think seven nominees,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and some of them are very easy. But here's my
- 14:51Speaker 1: seven because I gotta look at the list again. I'm
- 14:55Speaker 1: old man Phil Collins. Surprise, he's not in there anyway,
- 15:00Speaker 1: Lauren Hill, Iron Maiden. You didn't think I listened to
- 15:05Speaker 1: that music, did you? New addition? Come on, man, that's
- 15:10Speaker 1: a layup. Shade, Luther Van Luther was the first person
- 15:18Speaker 1: I chose, Okay, and lastly Wu Tang Clan. Of course
- 15:23Speaker 1: I did for the Wool. Who do I think will
- 15:29Speaker 1: get in this year? I think the Wool is absolutely
- 15:32Speaker 1: getting in, hands down. I'm afraid for Luther because y'all
- 15:37Speaker 1: be forgetting about Luther. Hopefully the documentary reminded y'all of
- 15:42Speaker 1: his talents. I think Shade is getting in. I think
- 15:47Speaker 1: Pink is probably getting in. Y'all better show up for
- 15:52Speaker 1: new addition.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I'm saying I think Iron Maiden is getting in.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I think Phil Collins is getting in also, And I
- 16:01Speaker 1: don't I don't think Lauren's getting in this time. I
- 16:05Speaker 1: think Mariah Carey might get in as a result, because
- 16:10Speaker 1: she's obviously had a lot of hits, She's had a
- 16:14Speaker 1: couple of you know, dope albums in her history, and
- 16:18Speaker 1: then she has an annual classic record that I hate
- 16:23Speaker 1: to hear sometimes in her Christmas record that you know
- 16:27Speaker 1: and I know, just don't say the name loud because
- 16:30Speaker 1: we don't want it to come back, okay till next year.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Now.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm not going to spend too much time on this,
- 16:39Speaker 1: and I know I say this all the time, but
- 16:40Speaker 1: I absolutely need it. And I'm not going to use
- 16:44Speaker 1: his name, but the homie, the guy from the band Kiss,
- 16:52Speaker 1: who feels like rappers and other people outside of rock
- 16:56Speaker 1: and roll shouldn't be a part of the rock and
- 16:59Speaker 1: roll Hall of Fame. And I think a lot of
- 17:01Speaker 1: hip hop fans kind of feel the same way also,
- 17:04Speaker 1: like it's cool, but it's also like we need a
- 17:08Speaker 1: hip hop Hall of Fame, and I believe that's on
- 17:12Speaker 1: the way, but that takes money and backing, and like
- 17:15Speaker 1: it just has to be a thing for real, right
- 17:20Speaker 1: and I think that's going to happen. But the rock
- 17:24Speaker 1: and Roll Hall of Fame when they started to add
- 17:28Speaker 1: people to, you know, as nominees that weren't like rock
- 17:35Speaker 1: stars or rock and roll, you know, artists and musicians.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I think it was the idea of what a rock
- 17:45Speaker 1: star is, right. It's a little bit of impact and
- 17:50Speaker 1: influence and popularity and your work your career, right, like
- 17:57Speaker 1: the music you've created, people you've collaborated with, probably way
- 18:01Speaker 1: more on the impact side, and rock and roll is
- 18:06Speaker 1: just a framing. So it's not really just a genre
- 18:10Speaker 1: of music Hall of Fame. It's more like if they
- 18:15Speaker 1: called it the superstar Hall of Fame. That's what I
- 18:18Speaker 1: think it is, because the WO is like international popularity
- 18:26Speaker 1: and a lot of those.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Got eminem jay Z, Nas Biggie.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Like, all of those guys are kind of on that
- 18:32Speaker 1: level right as far as popularity and musical impact. But
- 18:40Speaker 1: I think what confusing is because at one point, not
- 18:45Speaker 1: too long ago, they were just kind of known for
- 18:48Speaker 1: that rock and roll. This is the rock and roll
- 18:50Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. But for those who like to say
- 18:54Speaker 1: the you know, like to play the race card, and
- 18:57Speaker 1: sometimes I don't like to say that because that the
- 18:59Speaker 1: mint that takes away from the discussion, right, it says
- 19:05Speaker 1: that it's not important because they're trying to throw this
- 19:08Speaker 1: veil over your eyes called the race card and make
- 19:11Speaker 1: it about race.
- 19:12Speaker 2: But guess what it is about race?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Because if you want to talk rock and roll and
- 19:17Speaker 1: who started it right and the biggest influencers, I mean,
- 19:23Speaker 1: little Richard.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Told you all the time.
- 19:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, don't believe Back to the
- 19:28Speaker 1: Future because that didn't happen. Chuck Berry did that for real,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and it wasn't somebody from the future doing what he does.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And his cousin had to put him on the phone
- 19:41Speaker 1: to be like, Chuck Barry, No, it didn't happen. Okay,
- 19:45Speaker 1: now that's providing you saw Back to the Future. I
- 19:49Speaker 1: may be dated, but it's one of my favorite movies.
- 19:52Speaker 1: So Chuck Barry, Jimmy Hendrix, little Richard, we are rock
- 19:58Speaker 1: and roll, okay. But the Rock and Roll Hall of
- 20:03Speaker 1: Fame never shied away from that either. So it's one
- 20:06Speaker 1: of those things where I get it from somebody like him.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You know, all that hip hop coming over here and
- 20:14Speaker 1: taking over In some ways, it's true, right because when
- 20:18Speaker 1: I look at the list, I was like, damn louten
- 20:20Speaker 1: on here. But they have their reasons, and I voted
- 20:27Speaker 1: for and I mean I voted for Iron made it right.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It can't be all R and B and hip hop
- 20:34Speaker 1: getting in there, like I can't. I couldn't believe Phil
- 20:36Speaker 1: Collins wasn't already in there, So you know what I mean.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Like it was more so about, at least for me
- 20:42Speaker 1: as someone who's voting, knowing the music of these artists,
- 20:48Speaker 1: knowing the impact on their fan base and the genre
- 20:52Speaker 1: as a whole, and their status as superstars. And when
- 20:57Speaker 1: it comes to hip hop, when you look at who's
- 20:59Speaker 1: already in there, imagine those who aren't in there when
- 21:04Speaker 1: you're talking about impact, right, like rock Kim will probably
- 21:10Speaker 1: never get into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,
- 21:13Speaker 1: and not because he has the biggest impact. He influenced
- 21:17Speaker 1: the guys who's already in there, But Rak Kim didn't
- 21:22Speaker 1: sell a lot of records. And rak Kim is more
- 21:25Speaker 1: so you know him within hip hop as the god,
- 21:30Speaker 1: but outside of that, some people aren't familiar. They may
- 21:34Speaker 1: be familiar with his songs, but sometimes people don't connect
- 21:37Speaker 1: songs to the person, and that means you're not having
- 21:40Speaker 1: the same type of impact. So those were the people
- 21:46Speaker 1: I voted for we'll see who gets in. But it
- 21:49Speaker 1: was dope to see a lot of great artists nominated,
- 21:52Speaker 1: especially those like Shade and Luther.
- 21:57Speaker 2: And Phil Collins, who.
- 22:00Speaker 1: You think, like, man, the music they have here for you,
- 22:04Speaker 1: especially like in their prime or whatever, or just throughout
- 22:07Speaker 1: their career, they deserved that kind of recognition.
- 22:11Speaker 2: So lastly, so.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I saw this story and I was a little bit
- 22:19Speaker 1: distracted by the pictures that they chose to use because
- 22:22Speaker 1: it was like skinny Buster with this crazy outfit on.
- 22:24Speaker 1: But then I forgot that's how Buster used to dress
- 22:28Speaker 1: at one point in time, which isn't.
- 22:34Speaker 2: It's not the worst thing in the world.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I think it just was different because when he had
- 22:37Speaker 1: the locks, it was like a part of the outfit,
- 22:41Speaker 1: so it kind of worked for Buster. Now he got
- 22:44Speaker 1: the black shoe, polished Caesar with the weird outfit on
- 22:50Speaker 1: it and the teeth, and it looks kind of crazy
- 22:53Speaker 1: like it just does.
- 22:54Speaker 2: But that's not the point. I was distracted by that.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But then I saw that Buster rhymes and this is
- 22:59Speaker 1: ondx dot com.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Go check them out.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Buster Rhymes and j Diller dropping new album Diligence two
- 23:09Speaker 1: and this is dropping this year. So the Flip Mode
- 23:13Speaker 1: Squad front Man held a listening session in New York
- 23:16Speaker 1: City on February twentieth for Diligence to the sequel to
- 23:21Speaker 1: His Dealer to His and Dealer's original two thousand and
- 23:26Speaker 1: seven mixtape. Joined by Static Selector and DJ Tony touch Buster,
- 23:33Speaker 1: gave a room full of lucky fans and friends the
- 23:36Speaker 1: first opportunity to hear the project, which includes what appears
- 23:40Speaker 1: to be a collaboration with Little Wayne.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Now, let me see if I could find the release date.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Okay, haven't been Further details, such as a release date
- 23:55Speaker 1: or track list have yet to be revealed.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Now I'm not gonna lie to y'all.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Back in seven, I was transitioning from living in Baltimore
- 24:09Speaker 1: for like four years and also going to school there.
- 24:12Speaker 1: So I was in Baltimore like for like probably like
- 24:15Speaker 1: ten years or whatever, but after school I was there.
- 24:19Speaker 1: So now I was coming back to the Tri State
- 24:21Speaker 1: area buying a house.
- 24:24Speaker 2: So music, and I wasn't.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Really like heavy on the podcast side or even the
- 24:30Speaker 1: blog inside like I became later. So I was I
- 24:35Speaker 1: was a casual right, I was checking for what I
- 24:39Speaker 1: knew or heard if it was available to go buy.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I would buy it and that was it. But I
- 24:47Speaker 1: was on the internet and I remember the original Diligence,
- 24:53Speaker 1: but I remember the cover and I don't remember not
- 24:57Speaker 1: one song. And that doesn't mean that's not a a
- 25:00Speaker 1: critique on the project. It's just that it's something that
- 25:04Speaker 1: I kind of forget about, and I think I kind
- 25:07Speaker 1: of forget about it because of streaming services. Like a
- 25:12Speaker 1: lot of times, if things aren't in your face on
- 25:16Speaker 1: streaming services, you forget that they even happen. And let
- 25:20Speaker 1: me just look real quick on Apple Music, because I'm
- 25:24Speaker 1: almost positive this mixtape, the original mixtape Diligence, isn't Underbuster
- 25:33Speaker 1: at all.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Like all his albums are here, yeah, even the whole up.
- 25:39Speaker 1: This is kind of crazy because even his his uh
- 25:42Speaker 1: remember he did a whole mixtape with with Q Tip,
- 25:47Speaker 1: like the Dragons back or something or somebody chased the dragons.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I don't remember some dragons Okay, uh yeah, it's not here,
- 25:55Speaker 1: but obviously we can go find it. Obviously we can
- 25:59Speaker 1: go list to it and check it out. But it
- 26:01Speaker 1: was I would just remember it being a dope project
- 26:06Speaker 1: to commemorate the relationship between Jay Diller and Buster Rhymes
- 26:13Speaker 1: and to have a part too, it's dope because I
- 26:15Speaker 1: remember Buster talking a while back like how he had
- 26:20Speaker 1: other joints and he had beat still from Jay Diller
- 26:24Speaker 1: and how he was going to use him. So and
- 26:27Speaker 1: if static Selector is involved and Tony touched, then this
- 26:31Speaker 1: could be dope depending on what it sounds. And honestly,
- 26:34Speaker 1: it could be the project that Busters should drop because
- 26:37Speaker 1: he put out that one album well let me see,
- 26:40Speaker 1: because I erased it from memory, Blockbuster, and nobody liked that.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Because when he put out its Extinction Level Event two,
- 26:50Speaker 1: every bought that out. Everybody thought that album was crazy, right,
- 26:55Speaker 1: too many skits Chris Rock was there?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Too much for me? I think it was Chris Rock.
- 27:00Speaker 1: But when he put out Blockbuster in twenty twenty three,
- 27:03Speaker 1: it was like, oh man, this ain't it Buster. I
- 27:07Speaker 1: get it, you're trying to work with the younger people,
- 27:10Speaker 1: but does that mean a younger audience now is like, oh,
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna go listen to all Buster stuff.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Sometimes that shit backfights. And then in twenty twenty five
- 27:23Speaker 1: he put out a project called Dragon Season and I
- 27:27Speaker 1: did not like that either, and don't I don't know why,
- 27:31Speaker 1: because it didn't feel like Buster was returning. I think
- 27:34Speaker 1: he was responding to the criticism of his previous album,
- 27:40Speaker 1: so he just kind of made an extra angry dragon
- 27:44Speaker 1: AI filled videos version and it just was kind of lame.
- 27:50Speaker 1: This is what we're talking about, Dila on the beats.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Maybe you got some Dila versus. Who knows. I think
- 27:59Speaker 1: Buster's going to do right by this project, and I
- 28:01Speaker 1: think it's gonna be dope, and he gonna be because
- 28:05Speaker 1: we know Buster could make classics, not just good albums.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Buster can make a classic. But we shall see.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So what I'm gonna do, and it's probably your homework
- 28:17Speaker 1: also if you're interested, I'm gonna go listen to Diligence one.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I might own it.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go find it, okay, and then I'm gonna
- 28:27Speaker 1: listen to it and then kind of keep my eyes on,
- 28:32Speaker 1: you know, a potential release, and I do this is
- 28:34Speaker 1: this is one thing, is last thing. I'm gonna say
- 28:36Speaker 1: this one thing I like about it. Buster probably and
- 28:42Speaker 1: he been talking about this for a while, but he
- 28:44Speaker 1: probably looked at Common and Pete rock Nas in Primo
- 28:49Speaker 1: right l L and Q Tip and said to himself,
- 28:55Speaker 1: if I was to drop Lincoln with one producer. I
- 28:59Speaker 1: wanted to be, and I already have the records to
- 29:01Speaker 1: do it, So that would be crazy. Now if he
- 29:05Speaker 1: announced this and this happens to be a part of
- 29:08Speaker 1: that mass appeal, you know, imagine that it could be
- 29:14Speaker 1: and it would be dope. So we'll see. What do
- 29:17Speaker 1: you think? Are you anticipating Bussa and Jay Dillar's diligence
