- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven tenor.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Now. There's some days where you go, ah, what am
- 0:14Speaker 2: I going to talk about today? This is not one
- 0:16Speaker 2: of those days. There's great stuff to get to today.
- 0:18Speaker 2: We'll get to Prince Andrew arrested. We'll get to the
- 0:21Speaker 2: gun three story. We'll get to Stephen Colbert, crazy little
- 0:25Speaker 2: mayor Mom Donnie, We'll get to Iran and a whole
- 0:28Speaker 2: lot more just ahead. Hey, here's some good news. First
- 0:32Speaker 2: of all, spring four weeks from now, daylight savings time
- 0:36Speaker 2: two weeks from now. Here's some great news. This is
- 0:39Speaker 2: the first day that alternate side parking is back. That
- 0:44Speaker 2: means the snow problem is officially over. Now. When the
- 0:48Speaker 2: snow was piled up everywhere and you couldn't there were
- 0:50Speaker 2: no parking spaces, they had to suspend that alternate side
- 0:53Speaker 2: of the street parking. I do whatever the hell that is.
- 0:56Speaker 2: You got to keep moving your car. But it's back.
- 0:58Speaker 2: They put it back in affect this morning, which means
- 1:01Speaker 2: officially the snow crisis is over. And yesterday's complaining about
- 1:05Speaker 2: all the garbage piled up on the street. Here it's
- 1:07Speaker 2: gone today. So things are moving along as far as
- 1:11Speaker 2: garbage and snow. The rest of the city total disaster
- 1:14Speaker 2: with Mom Donnie. We'll get to him in a moment.
- 1:17Speaker 2: The big breaking news this morning Prince Andrew was arrested
- 1:20Speaker 2: at eight am a British time, eight am, which would
- 1:24Speaker 2: have been the middle of the night here, But we
- 1:28Speaker 2: all woke up to find out that Prince Andrew had
- 1:31Speaker 2: been arrested. Now, King Charles, Prince William, they all say
- 1:36Speaker 2: they didn't know about it, they weren't told about it,
- 1:39Speaker 2: that this arrest was strictly the government doing this. Strictly
- 1:43Speaker 2: the government involved in the arrest of Prince Andrew. Now
- 1:47Speaker 2: it has to do with the Epstein files. But it's
- 1:49Speaker 2: not about sex, it's not about underage women. It's about
- 1:53Speaker 2: passing along state secrets. Now, a guy like Empstein trades
- 1:59Speaker 2: in a lot of stuff and one reason, you know,
- 2:01Speaker 2: you had all these billionaires and all these big business
- 2:04Speaker 2: guys and foreign leaders all hanging around him. In some
- 2:08Speaker 2: cases they enjoyed some of the women, but in many
- 2:12Speaker 2: of these cases they were around Epstein because he could
- 2:15Speaker 2: get them stuff information. And apparently Prince Andrew for many years,
- 2:23Speaker 2: you know, believe it or not, way back when the
- 2:25Speaker 2: Queen thought of Prince Andrew as her favorite son, not
- 2:29Speaker 2: Prince Charles. It was Prince Andrew that was her favorite son.
- 2:32Speaker 2: She thought so much of him that she kind of
- 2:35Speaker 2: forced the government to give him a big job, and
- 2:40Speaker 2: he was made the official trade envoy for Great Britain.
- 2:45Speaker 2: It's something a lot of people thought was kind of
- 2:48Speaker 2: a ceremonial thing, but you could make it into something serious.
- 2:51Speaker 2: You went around the world as the trade representative, as
- 2:54Speaker 2: the envoy to all the different countries, and if you
- 2:58Speaker 2: knew what you were doing, and apparently Prince an Andrew did,
- 3:00Speaker 2: you could pick up a lot of information, a lot
- 3:04Speaker 2: of insight intel about trade deals about foreign stuff. And
- 3:09Speaker 2: these are state secrets that when you come back there
- 3:11Speaker 2: belong to the government, their secrets. And I guess they've
- 3:15Speaker 2: looked through the emails and enough stuff that they've decided
- 3:18Speaker 2: that Prince Andrew was This was always the suspicion, but
- 3:22Speaker 2: they've decided he was passing stuff along to Jeffrey Epstein,
- 3:27Speaker 2: who was then passing it along to his clients, his
- 3:30Speaker 2: business clients, and it apparently he's in the email. So
- 3:34Speaker 2: they've got and they must have found enough hard evidence
- 3:38Speaker 2: digitally computer whatever they've decided. Andrew was not selling but
- 3:44Speaker 2: trading state secrets. It's a very serious crime. This is
- 3:48Speaker 2: a kind of crime where you could really go to prison,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and it's great Britain. Who knows they maybe they still
- 3:53Speaker 2: had hanging over there. I don't know, but it's a
- 3:56Speaker 2: very very serious thing. Andrew was arrested early this morning.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It's birthday. He was arrested on his birthday. He's the
- 4:02Speaker 2: first Royal family member to be arrested in four hundred years.
- 4:09Speaker 2: So it's a fascinating situation. He got the Prime Minister
- 4:13Speaker 2: who last night, in the middle of a speech in
- 4:16Speaker 2: the middle of nowhere, just in the speech, started talking
- 4:19Speaker 2: about how no one is above the law. Now, he
- 4:21Speaker 2: just threw that into the speech. Nobody thought anything of
- 4:25Speaker 2: it at the time, but he obviously knew that hours
- 4:30Speaker 2: later they were going to arrest Prince Andrew. So he
- 4:32Speaker 2: actually threw that into the speech about how no one
- 4:34Speaker 2: is above the law. He made a big deal out
- 4:36Speaker 2: of that, and I guess proved it this morning. And
- 4:39Speaker 2: you can always you've gotten the feeling that there's something
- 4:44Speaker 2: some bad blood between Prince Charles and Prince Andrew. Prince
- 4:48Speaker 2: Charles particularly cruel to him, taking away every title he had.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You could take away the prince, but he took away
- 4:54Speaker 2: every other title, every little title. He threw him out
- 4:57Speaker 2: of his house. He had to leave his castle, moved
- 4:59Speaker 2: to us castle. Can you imagine the humiliation of having
- 5:03Speaker 2: to move to a smaller castle. So he's under arrest.
- 5:08Speaker 2: You know, when it comes to this royal family, they're
- 5:11Speaker 2: like the biggest welfare case in the world. Nobody can
- 5:13Speaker 2: figure out what the hell these people do all day.
- 5:16Speaker 2: They get a fortune from the government for castles and
- 5:20Speaker 2: coaches and all those Buckingham Palace type guards and all
- 5:23Speaker 2: this pomp and circumstance. They're all multi zillionaires. The royal
- 5:28Speaker 2: family has billions of dollars and nobody knows what the
- 5:33Speaker 2: hell do they do all day? I mean, if you're
- 5:35Speaker 2: a member the royal family you want to call in sick,
- 5:37Speaker 2: who would you even call? Who would even miss you?
- 5:39Speaker 2: I mean basically all you do? What do they do? Actually,
- 5:45Speaker 2: I guess the biggest job they have is when there's
- 5:47Speaker 2: a big parade. They sit there in the stand and
- 5:50Speaker 2: they wave as the parade goes by reviewing a parade,
- 5:54Speaker 2: that's their big function in life. So I guess no
- 5:58Speaker 2: matter what you know, they say, Oh, the Queen was
- 6:00Speaker 2: still still working at ninety eight. You're just sitting there
- 6:03Speaker 2: watching a parade. How hard is that. Maybe you got
- 6:06Speaker 2: a wave. It's not that. As long as your arm
- 6:07Speaker 2: can move, you can be a member of the royal family.
- 6:11Speaker 2: So here's the other thing. Nancy Guthrie. Nancy Guthrie, Now
- 6:16Speaker 2: this is interesting. The DNA was not in the DNA base,
- 6:21Speaker 2: but you could still get stuff out of the DNA.
- 6:26Speaker 2: We have a database of twenty two million people who
- 6:29Speaker 2: DNA we have on file. It's mostly people that have
- 6:32Speaker 2: been arrested, criminals, maybe military, law enforcement, and sometimes people
- 6:36Speaker 2: that have used those what do you call those like
- 6:39Speaker 2: an ancestry dot com where you go check your DNA. Hey,
- 6:43Speaker 2: by the way, there's a bunch of those services where
- 6:45Speaker 2: you can send in your DNA and they can tell
- 6:47Speaker 2: you your whole ancestry. Send it to three different services,
- 6:53Speaker 2: you'll get three different answers. Don't rely on those too much.
- 6:57Speaker 3: But.
- 6:59Speaker 2: They still say, even though the DNA doesn't match anybody,
- 7:01Speaker 2: even though they don't get a name of somebody, that
- 7:04Speaker 2: there's things you can tell from the DNA. You can
- 7:06Speaker 2: get an idea of the race background, maybe coloring something
- 7:13Speaker 2: like that. There's stuff they can get out of the DNA.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Now here's the other thing they've been doing, and I
- 7:19Speaker 2: didn't A lot of people don't know that you can
- 7:21Speaker 2: do this. You know, if you're a criminal, they can
- 7:24Speaker 2: come grab your computers and all that and look and
- 7:27Speaker 2: see what you were doing on your computer. And I
- 7:30Speaker 2: guess you know that they could also go to Google
- 7:33Speaker 2: and get the record of your Google searches. You know
- 7:36Speaker 2: you're a criminal, they can go see what were you searching,
- 7:38Speaker 2: you know, and they'll say, oh, this guy was searching
- 7:40Speaker 2: how to make a bomb or you know, how to
- 7:43Speaker 2: do how to kidnap somebody. Well, then then they'd have
- 7:47Speaker 2: evidence against you. But there's such a thing as a
- 7:49Speaker 2: reverse Google search, so they can go to Google and
- 7:54Speaker 2: they can get a hold all the searches of everybody.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So they've apparently been doing that. Now the local police
- 8:01Speaker 2: are not going to be able to pull this off,
- 8:03Speaker 2: but the FBI is involved and they know how to
- 8:05Speaker 2: do this. So the FBI has been working with Google
- 8:08Speaker 2: for the last week or two checking reverse searches. So
- 8:11Speaker 2: they're looking to see who, if anyone who went on
- 8:16Speaker 2: Google and searched where does Nancy Guthrie live or what
- 8:20Speaker 2: is Nancy Guthrie's address, so they can see who's been
- 8:25Speaker 2: searching that. They can see, you know, who's been researching
- 8:30Speaker 2: that and then searching doing Google searches on Savannah Guthrie.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So let's say somebody was Google searching how much does
- 8:38Speaker 2: Savannah Guthrie make? What's her net worth? Then they're searching
- 8:42Speaker 2: what is Nancy Guthrie's address, that kind of stuff, and
- 8:47Speaker 2: then you can see who's searched that. So if they,
- 8:51Speaker 2: you know, you may not realize, they can do a
- 8:52Speaker 2: reverse Google search and then they'll see what computer it
- 8:56Speaker 2: came from, and then they'll track down that computer. So
- 9:00Speaker 2: they're looking at the weeks and months leading up to
- 9:03Speaker 2: the kidnapping and to see who it is. Strange things
- 9:06Speaker 2: have come out, you know, Nancy Savannah Guthrie wrote a
- 9:09Speaker 2: book way back when biography and people have noticed it.
- 9:14Speaker 2: In the book, Savannah Guthrie said that as when she
- 9:18Speaker 2: was a little kid, her sisters and the family and
- 9:23Speaker 2: the aunt played a little game where they would kidnap
- 9:27Speaker 2: each other. Well, it's that eerie. They would kidnap each
- 9:31Speaker 2: other and then go to the ant's house or something
- 9:33Speaker 2: and then call their mother and say, we've been kidnapped.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Come get I mean, I've never have you ever heard
- 9:38Speaker 2: of anybody playing a game like that? Very strange. Now
- 9:42Speaker 2: that was in her book. Maybe that's why people started
- 9:44Speaker 2: suspecting family members of being involved. But the police have
- 9:48Speaker 2: said absolutely not, They don't think any They've cleared every
- 9:53Speaker 2: family member they believe. Hey, the State of the Union
- 9:56Speaker 2: addresses coming up on Tuesday. This Tuesday's a big State
- 10:00Speaker 2: of the Union address. Now this is an important thing
- 10:02Speaker 2: because it's the one time the whole nation watches President
- 10:06Speaker 2: Trump and he can start to explain all this stuff.
- 10:09Speaker 2: You know, Democrats have created this whole fake narrative that
- 10:12Speaker 2: the economy is bad, we're in an affordability crisis, when
- 10:15Speaker 2: in fact, inflation has come down dramatically, real wages are up,
- 10:22Speaker 2: economy is doing much better than before. You don't got
- 10:25Speaker 2: a waste to go, but it's been incredible improvement in
- 10:28Speaker 2: just the first year. So he can lay out all
- 10:30Speaker 2: the numbers and clear up that myth. So people will
- 10:33Speaker 2: for the first time here that even with ice, he
- 10:35Speaker 2: can explain what they've done. You know, people think they're
- 10:38Speaker 2: just going out in the street harassing people. But he
- 10:40Speaker 2: can start listing who they've arrested and just run down
- 10:44Speaker 2: how many dangerous criminals, how many rapists, how many robbers.
- 10:48Speaker 2: So it's a chance to get the facts out to
- 10:51Speaker 2: the nation. That's for President Trump. Now for the Democrats,
- 10:55Speaker 2: every time we have a State of the Union, it's
- 10:57Speaker 2: a chance for them to embarrass themselves again. Democrats have
- 11:02Speaker 2: this new tradition of totally embarrassing themselves at every State
- 11:07Speaker 2: of the Union. Remember the Nancy Pelosi ripping up the
- 11:09Speaker 2: speech just like a ridiculous tantrum, you know, childish tantrum.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Remember the Democrats booing. You remember when President Trump introduced the
- 11:21Speaker 2: poor kids suffering from cancer, and they refuse to applaud
- 11:24Speaker 2: for him. Remember he had the great hero and had
- 11:28Speaker 2: him take about the Democrats refuse to applaud. So they
- 11:30Speaker 2: always use every State of the Union as a chance
- 11:34Speaker 2: to completely embarrass themselves and turn off America. So they'll
- 11:37Speaker 2: do it again this Tuesday night. Now here's one of
- 11:40Speaker 2: the things they're planning. Many of them are planning not
- 11:43Speaker 2: to go to the State of the Union and instead
- 11:47Speaker 2: have a State of the Union of their own State
- 11:50Speaker 2: of the Union. Rally. Let me see, it's called the
- 11:54Speaker 2: People's State of the Union. Multiple Democrats are planning to
- 11:57Speaker 2: do that. It'll be on the National Mall near the Capitol,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and the lefty media outlet midas Touch and progressive group
- 12:08Speaker 2: move on dot org are organizing this now. Hakeem Jeffries,
- 12:13Speaker 2: for instance, No, his plan is to attend the State
- 12:15Speaker 2: of the Union, said as a House leaders, he's got
- 12:18Speaker 2: to do. But many of these Democrats will be at
- 12:20Speaker 2: this alternate one. So President of the United States State
- 12:24Speaker 2: of the Union in the Great Da Hall and Congress
- 12:28Speaker 2: that has one look to it. And then you'll see
- 12:29Speaker 2: Democrats on the National Mall yelling and screaming and chanting.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Obviously they'll have the worst signs about Hitler and Nazi whatever.
- 12:38Speaker 2: So again, Democrats always use the State of the Union
- 12:41Speaker 2: to completely completely embarrass themselves. Hey, mom, Donnie threatening to
- 12:48Speaker 2: raise property tax ten percent, which is absolutely insane. Obviously
- 12:55Speaker 2: New York. If you live in New York City, property
- 12:57Speaker 2: tax is crazy. It's already insane, just awful if you
- 13:03Speaker 2: live in Long Island. It's always been bad. Good thing
- 13:05Speaker 2: for Bruce Blake when he's done everything he can to
- 13:07Speaker 2: fight that and take care of that. New Jersey it's
- 13:10Speaker 2: still pretty bad. Westchester, it's pretty bad. But New York
- 13:13Speaker 2: City property tax is absolutely ridiculous, So to raise it
- 13:18Speaker 2: ten percent is totally insane. You should be literally put
- 13:22Speaker 2: in in a looney bin for even suggesting it. Mom, Donnie,
- 13:27Speaker 2: who's never had a job, never manage anything comes into
- 13:30Speaker 2: Can you mention never had a job? Can you mentione
- 13:32Speaker 2: if you never had a job in your first job
- 13:34Speaker 2: was at a little company where you were in charge
- 13:36Speaker 2: of the budget and the book keeping, you wouln't even
- 13:38Speaker 2: know how to handle it. You imagine your first job
- 13:41Speaker 2: is handling the budget of New York City. Now, first
- 13:43Speaker 2: of all, the budget in New York City is ridiculous.
- 13:46Speaker 2: It's one hundred and twenty billion dollars a year. It
- 13:48Speaker 2: should be about twelve billion. Most cities, Chicago, cities like that,
- 13:53Speaker 2: the budget's about ten billion. So it happen to be
- 13:56Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty billion. That's more than most states.
- 13:59Speaker 2: That's more than the data Florida's budget one hundred and
- 14:01Speaker 2: twenty billion. It should be actually should be cut by
- 14:04Speaker 2: about seventy five percent. But let's say you just cut
- 14:06Speaker 2: it in half. It's all waste, fraud, bloat. You could
- 14:10Speaker 2: easily cut it in half and cut the taxes in half,
- 14:13Speaker 2: but it's one hundred and twenty billion. He wants to
- 14:16Speaker 2: increase it, put more property TAXI What.
- 14:18Speaker 4: We put forward was what we characterized as actions of
- 14:21Speaker 4: last resort. I described them as last resort because we
- 14:24Speaker 4: have a broken property tax system in the city. What
- 14:27Speaker 4: we are hoping for, what we will spend every day
- 14:29Speaker 4: looking towards, is working with Albany to increase taxes on
- 14:33Speaker 4: the wealthiest and the most profitable corporations such that a
- 14:36Speaker 4: fiscal crisis is not resolved on the backs of working
- 14:40Speaker 4: in middle class New York.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Christ Kah Hell is he talking about first? He says,
- 14:43Speaker 2: So it be last resort, last resort. You've been in
- 14:46Speaker 2: office two weeks. Two weeks. He already at your last resort.
- 14:50Speaker 2: That should be happening in the two years. Our property
- 14:53Speaker 2: tax system is broken. Yeah, because it's way too high.
- 14:56Speaker 2: So he wants to increase it. Every expert analyzing this
- 14:58Speaker 2: says he's completely insane.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Mandane's actually been mayor for forty nine days. I find
- 15:03Speaker 5: it amusing that he refers to this as his last
- 15:05Speaker 5: resort option. We've literally been in office. You know, the
- 15:10Speaker 5: snow's been on the ground the entire time that he's
- 15:11Speaker 5: been in office, and he wants to already raise New
- 15:14Speaker 5: Yorker's taxes. Look, this is this is catastrophic because we
- 15:18Speaker 5: already pay the high New York has already pay the
- 15:19Speaker 5: highest among the highest taxes in the country in New
- 15:21Speaker 5: York City, which of course has an additional tax in
- 15:24Speaker 5: addition to state income tax. Is excruciating the high tax.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Okay, he said what I said, but it sounds better
- 15:32Speaker 2: when he says it. You have a BITI sh accent
- 15:33Speaker 2: and you speak, you sound like a genius. Sounds much
- 15:36Speaker 2: better coming from him.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Properly, prices are very high in New York. So the
- 15:39Speaker 5: plan he has will hit not just the rich, as
- 15:41Speaker 5: they keep claiming, but huge numbers of middle class taxpayers.
- 15:44Speaker 5: So yeah, this is socialism and action. This is the
- 15:46Speaker 5: Democratic Party in action. If think the rest of the
- 15:48Speaker 5: country is watching now.
- 15:50Speaker 2: When you raise property tax, rents go up because somebody
- 15:56Speaker 2: owns your building and the property tax goes up ten percent,
- 15:59Speaker 2: that person now has to increase your rent by ten
- 16:02Speaker 2: percent to cover the new property tax. So he's gonna
- 16:06Speaker 2: if you have an increase in property tax. You're raising
- 16:08Speaker 2: the rent on everybody, middle class, lower class, everybody, everybody.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Now here's the good news. As I've been telling you,
- 16:15Speaker 2: we got for the first time in a lot of years,
- 16:18Speaker 2: a city council president who's normal, common sense. She's a Democrat,
- 16:22Speaker 2: but a common sense, old fashioned, normal democrat. She is.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It would actually be the city council that have to
- 16:28Speaker 2: raise the property taxes. She says she will not do it.
- 16:30Speaker 6: The governor has made clear that she is not raising taxes.
- 16:34Speaker 6: So with that said, we think we need to really
- 16:36Speaker 6: focus on saving. We cannot be raising property taxes on
- 16:39Speaker 6: the backs of small property owners, on the backs of renchers,
- 16:43Speaker 6: on the back of small businesses. That will worsen the
- 16:45Speaker 6: affordability crisis. So that is clearly off the table for us.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Hey, you go off the table. So hey, you know
- 16:51Speaker 2: Kevin O'Leary, Shark Tank, mister wonderful. They had him on
- 16:55Speaker 2: CNN with all these lefties yelling and screaming about how
- 16:58Speaker 2: you have to tax the rich and have more proper
- 17:00Speaker 2: tax there on. So listen to Kevin O'Leary. He was
- 17:03Speaker 2: in the middle of this. They said, do you have
- 17:04Speaker 2: any final words? He said, yes, you're all nuts. So
- 17:08Speaker 2: they were all young the but here he is a
- 17:11Speaker 2: later yesterday on the subject of Mam Donnie.
- 17:13Speaker 7: This is bat poopoo crazy what he is proposing. And
- 17:18Speaker 7: probably sometime next year, within twelve to eighteen months, I
- 17:21Speaker 7: will meet him in Miami and give him real Estate
- 17:26Speaker 7: a Year award because I'm not happy with what's happening.
- 17:30Speaker 7: I can't get across the bridge anymore. I live in
- 17:32Speaker 7: Miami Beach. Everybody from New York and New Jersey and
- 17:35Speaker 7: Massachusetts is moving into my neighborhood. I'm pissed off, and
- 17:39Speaker 7: this guy's just doing more of it. What he's proposing
- 17:42Speaker 7: is beyond insane.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, nowadays, he said, I'm getting out of New York.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I'm sick of the traffic. Can't find at parking. Well,
- 17:50Speaker 2: go to Miami. It's even worse. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven to ten
- 17:56Speaker 2: is the number. Eight hundred three to two, one zero
- 18:00Speaker 2: seven and oh well, let me just remind you. We're
- 18:02Speaker 2: doing this big event. It's a big cocktail party. If
- 18:05Speaker 2: you want to come to it. It's an exclusive live

- 19:45Speaker 3: Hello? Mark? Fine? Thank you don't.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Remember from Saint James is a beautiful place in What
- 19:50Speaker 2: a name for a town. I'm from cid St. St. James.
- 19:53Speaker 3: I used to live in St Olmans now.
- 19:55Speaker 2: But then you meet me, you meet somebody from Saint
- 19:57Speaker 2: James and they go, how are you? It doesn't fit
- 19:59Speaker 2: the name, but go not you, but go ahead.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Do you remember Mayor beam a Beam Yeah, when he
- 20:05Speaker 3: was having financial troubles. Yeah, the city was in default,
- 20:10Speaker 3: paid back the bank loans, and they declared a new
- 20:15Speaker 3: bond program, Big Max Municipal Assistance Corporation, high interest BOMDS,
- 20:21Speaker 3: bonds paid bought by the public, paid back and solve
- 20:26Speaker 3: the problem.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it's a good point. You know, when the
- 20:29Speaker 2: city was in financial crisis. They're about to go bankrupt.
- 20:33Speaker 2: What you're supposed to do? The mayor and others, they
- 20:35Speaker 2: turned to the great business minds, the great financial geniuses
- 20:38Speaker 2: Felix Royatan and others. Rockefeller got involved. But you know,
- 20:43Speaker 2: you're in the middle of New York. You've got the
- 20:45Speaker 2: greatest financial geniuses in the world at work here that
- 20:48Speaker 2: can save anything, save corporations, save you. Turn to them,
- 20:52Speaker 2: you go see them, call them and they'll help you.
- 20:55Speaker 2: They'll help you. You know, you call all of our
- 20:57Speaker 2: top financial minds that right here in New York, they
- 20:59Speaker 2: will be They'll come right down the city Hall, meet
- 21:01Speaker 2: with you. They will help you. But if your mom Donnie,
- 21:04Speaker 2: and you're an angry little socialist, you don't know how
- 21:07Speaker 2: to do that. Even when it comes to police stuff,
- 21:10Speaker 2: if you called the greatest police geniuses in the world
- 21:12Speaker 2: you've called Ray Kelly, I guarantee any would he'd be
- 21:16Speaker 2: happy to help you. That's the kind of people there.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Anybody are great police leaders. But if you called them
- 21:22Speaker 2: and said, hey, could you come down, could you consult
- 21:24Speaker 2: us help? Yeah, I'd be happy to You've got access
- 21:27Speaker 2: to all this genius and they're so bitter and nasty,
- 21:31Speaker 2: these crazy left wingers, they could never do it. Let's
- 21:34Speaker 2: go to Carissa and Queens. How you doing okay?
- 21:38Speaker 8: How are you Mark?
- 21:39Speaker 2: I'm good good.
- 21:41Speaker 8: It's been a while since I talked to you that
- 21:44Speaker 8: I remember. But when Mom Danny was running, the first
- 21:48Speaker 8: thing I said was that this was going to be
- 21:50Speaker 8: a total disaster.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Really, everybody thought he was going to be wonderful. You
- 21:54Speaker 2: thought you knew he'd be bad. Huh.
- 21:57Speaker 8: And I'll make another prediction along the line that Curtis
- 22:01Speaker 8: made about Adams. I believe he's gonna have to be
- 22:04Speaker 8: removed from office. I don't think he's gonna be able
- 22:07Speaker 8: to fity till four your term.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Well, you know that's a good point, that's an excellent point.
- 22:12Speaker 2: You know, the governor has the power to remove him.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Hochel is such a coward and so busy catering to
- 22:17Speaker 2: the left. But very very very good chance Bruce Blakeman
- 22:21Speaker 2: will be the governor a year from now, and as
- 22:24Speaker 2: governor he can remove Mom. Donnie. You know, if the
- 22:30Speaker 2: actually Bruce Blakeman will be with us tomorrow, maybe lasking me.
- 22:32Speaker 2: There's all kinds of complicated law about New York. If
- 22:35Speaker 2: the budget goes crazy. If New York goes into total
- 22:38Speaker 2: fiscal disaster, the governor can step in and take control
- 22:41Speaker 2: of our budget, and he'll do what he did in
- 22:43Speaker 2: Long Island, which is cut costs, get rid of the waist,
- 22:46Speaker 2: the fraud, the bloats, straighten everything out. So but anyway,
- 22:51Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to today. We'll take
- 22:53Speaker 2: some more calls a little later. When we come back.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Liz Peak will be with us next. The brilliant columnist
- 22:59Speaker 2: just ahead on.
- 23:01Speaker 1: R here's more, Mark Simone on seventen WR.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Well, Liz Peak. Of course, you see all of our
- 23:09Speaker 2: television's are on Cudlow last night, and the great columns.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You can read her columns at foxnews dot com. And
- 23:15Speaker 2: she's got this wonderful site that you should sign up
- 23:18Speaker 2: or check it every day. In fact, you can sign

- 23:24Speaker 2: p E e K lizpeak dot com. Check it out
- 23:28Speaker 2: every day. Liz Peak, How you doing.
- 23:31Speaker 9: I'm terrific, so much better for being with you.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Mark. Well, thanks. I think everyone's a little shocked. I
- 23:37Speaker 2: wake up this morning find out Prince Andrew has been arrested.
- 23:42Speaker 9: But you know, it's it's interesting. I mean, I'm sure
- 23:44Speaker 9: you know it's not because he may have had sexual
- 23:48Speaker 9: relations with underage girls. It's really because he may have
- 23:51Speaker 9: passed secrets to Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, I think, you know,
- 23:56Speaker 9: I think the underlying story, what we're gonna hear more
- 23:59Speaker 9: and more or maybe come out from the Jeffrey Epstein
- 24:03Speaker 9: revelations is that the guy was a master blackmailer and he,
- 24:09Speaker 9: you know, got people like Prince Andrew and who knows
- 24:12Speaker 9: who else into compromising situations and then took advantage of that.
- 24:17Speaker 9: You know that we've not really ever heard the explanation
- 24:21Speaker 9: for Leon Black paying him tens of millions of dollars.
- 24:25Speaker 9: I'm sure there are other people who are going to
- 24:27Speaker 9: be implicated in the same way. But what a horrible
- 24:30Speaker 9: thing for the Royal family.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I mean, I must.
- 24:32Speaker 9: Say, you know, they've had their share of pretty tough
- 24:37Speaker 9: hits in the last couple of years, with Kate Middleton
- 24:41Speaker 9: having cancer and Charles having cancer, and now this is
- 24:45Speaker 9: supreme embarrassment.
- 24:47Speaker 3: You know, I have to.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Say, my heart goes out to the family.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I got to disagree, a little le Royal family. They
- 24:52Speaker 2: got more nonsense going on through these remember Fergie and
- 24:55Speaker 2: all that stuff, and well that was Prince Andrew's their wife,
- 24:58Speaker 2: but it was there's always some embarrassing stuff with that
- 25:01Speaker 2: royal family, not as bad as this, but no.
- 25:05Speaker 9: This is this is pretty terrible. And you know, I
- 25:08Speaker 9: think what's sort of tragic is that, you know, Queen
- 25:11Speaker 9: Elizabeth to me was a really outstanding, steady, tough person,
- 25:18Speaker 9: no question, but you have to be pretty tough in
- 25:20Speaker 9: her in her life, I think, and you know it's
- 25:24Speaker 9: for next generation problems, right, I mean, I think Charles
- 25:28Speaker 9: is sort of a fool, uh and not a very
- 25:30Speaker 9: well respected person. So then you go to the next
- 25:33Speaker 9: generation and they've just had you know, I mean, to
- 25:36Speaker 9: have Kate get Ill and all of that. It's just
- 25:39Speaker 9: I think it's been a pretty tough couple of years.
- 25:41Speaker 9: But anyway, this is a whole new chapter and pretty disgraceful.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Obviously.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I also i'd never thought I still don't buy
- 25:49Speaker 2: that Epstein was such a blackmailer. He had a way
- 25:51Speaker 2: of just luring these guys in with all kinds of uh,
- 25:55Speaker 2: you know, it wasn't just the women. If you I've
- 25:57Speaker 2: been reading the file so carefully. He dangles celebrities in
- 26:01Speaker 2: front of them, set up dinners with Woody Allen and
- 26:03Speaker 2: this person and that person, and you know, you know,
- 26:06Speaker 2: those guys are as starstruck as anybody in fall for that.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Sence that master manipulator. On the other hand, if you're
- 26:13Speaker 9: Prince Andrew and you have that there are pictures of
- 26:16Speaker 9: you with these underage girls pretty much they'll do anything
- 26:19Speaker 9: he wants you to.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so, hey, State of the Union addresses coming up Tuesday.
- 26:25Speaker 2: As I said before, it's always an opportunity for Democrats
- 26:28Speaker 2: to totally embarrass themselves. And yeah, now they're talking about
- 26:32Speaker 2: having their own State of the Union somewhere else. Isn't
- 26:35Speaker 2: that going to backfire on them?
- 26:37Speaker 3: Well?
- 26:37Speaker 9: What I almost tweeted about this and then I couldn't
- 26:40Speaker 9: really figure out how to, you know, make it interesting.
- 26:43Speaker 9: But they're calling their performance and honestly, when did Democrats
- 26:48Speaker 9: become the performance party? But that's kind of what they've
- 26:51Speaker 9: evolved into. They have no policies they want to talk about.
- 26:55Speaker 9: All they do is hate Trump and then sort of
- 26:57Speaker 9: showcase that hatred with endless still a buster speeches, et cetera,
- 27:01Speaker 9: et cetera. And that course, here's the newest one, which
- 27:04Speaker 9: is a state of the Union for the people. Okay, Well,
- 27:08Speaker 9: their biggest complaint about Donald Trump is as a populist.
- 27:12Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 27:12Speaker 9: Mark, That means he's of the people, right, So, when
- 27:16Speaker 9: you have a president elected by a majority of voters,
- 27:21Speaker 9: this is no longer a fringe candidate. This is no
- 27:23Speaker 9: longer someone who doesn't represent the will of the people.
- 27:28Speaker 9: He clearly does. And so I think for that, you know, look,
- 27:32Speaker 9: I think the Republicans have lost some important contests recently,
- 27:38Speaker 9: some elections have gone the wrong way. Obviously, the country
- 27:42Speaker 9: in the midterms, as usual, is ready to sort of
- 27:46Speaker 9: voice some discontent with what's going on. But the reality is,
- 27:50Speaker 9: this guy, Donald Trump is getting stuff done. He is
- 27:53Speaker 9: fixing what's broken in the government. A lot of people
- 27:55Speaker 9: are applauding that. So I think just your case on
- 28:01Speaker 9: how vile the president is is pretty weak gruel, and
- 28:05Speaker 9: I just cannot imagine that in the midterms people are
- 28:09Speaker 9: going to turn out step. The risk to the GOP
- 28:13Speaker 9: is that Trump voters just are not reliable voters. But
- 28:17Speaker 9: then a lot of the Democratic Coalition isn't reliable either.
- 28:21Speaker 9: Young people don't always vote in the midterms, and minorities
- 28:24Speaker 9: don't always vote in the midterms, so we'll see what happens.
- 28:27Speaker 9: But the more that they embarrass themselves by acting out
- 28:32Speaker 9: by the way, Hakim Jeffries, the minority leader, has asked
- 28:36Speaker 9: Democrats not to do this because I think he's aware
- 28:39Speaker 9: that it just embarrasses them.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the President's done a great job foreign policy economies,
- 28:48Speaker 2: but Democrats create this fake narrative, this affordability crisis. So
- 28:52Speaker 2: isn't this a big opportunity for him to just the
- 28:55Speaker 2: whole public will be watching and he can lay out
- 28:57Speaker 2: the actual facts and inflation way, Yes, So won't that
- 29:01Speaker 2: change everything?
- 29:02Speaker 9: Well, I don't know if it'll change everything, because of
- 29:04Speaker 9: course you'll have commentators immediately fact checking everything he says.
- 29:10Speaker 9: But if he sticks to the facts, mark, yes, if
- 29:13Speaker 9: he claims growth, we're you know, if he claims that
- 29:16Speaker 9: we're striving for fifteen percent growth.
- 29:18Speaker 1: No, that's not going to work.
- 29:20Speaker 9: But we don't need to make up exaggerated numbers. We
- 29:23Speaker 9: don't need to talk about stuff that's not real because
- 29:26Speaker 9: the story right now is extremely persuasive. And I must say,
- 29:31Speaker 9: the Fed minutes are just really sort of make my
- 29:36Speaker 9: head hurt. Because Bloomberg did a piece this morning on
- 29:40Speaker 9: the FED notes that were made public yesterday, and it's like, well,
- 29:43Speaker 9: they may have to raise rates because of inflation, you know,
- 29:47Speaker 9: not being where they wanted to be. Inflation numbers just
- 29:50Speaker 9: recently were extremely good, very beneficial, two point four percent.
- 29:54Speaker 9: It is coming down. A lot of people think that
- 29:57Speaker 9: actual inflation right now is closer to one if you
- 30:01Speaker 9: stop measuring rent and household expenditures in a sort of
- 30:10Speaker 9: mixed up way. It's the numbers on inflation are actually
- 30:14Speaker 9: pretty good. Are they good enough? Maybe not, but you're
- 30:17Speaker 9: not You're certainly not about to embark on a rate
- 30:20Speaker 9: hiking cycle. But I mean, it's such a typical Bloomberg
- 30:25Speaker 9: or MSNBC or whatever description. Just make it sound as
- 30:30Speaker 9: bad as it possibly can be. So to your point,
- 30:33Speaker 9: Donald Trump has an opportunity on Tuesday night to talk
- 30:36Speaker 9: to the American people about what's happening in our economy.
- 30:40Speaker 9: We have an investment boom. Housing starts are up. Affordability
- 30:44Speaker 9: on housing, by the way, is getting better because mortgage
- 30:48Speaker 9: rates have come down. I mean, there is a whole
- 30:51Speaker 9: slew of positive developments that have come out just even
- 30:56Speaker 9: in the.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Last few weeks.
- 30:57Speaker 9: And here's another thing I talked about this on area yesterday,
- 31:00Speaker 9: a couple of times aoc An inner terrible appearance in Munich,
- 31:06Speaker 9: and then the explanation afterwards talks about the central thing
- 31:10Speaker 9: that Democrats want to impress upon the American people, the
- 31:13Speaker 9: fact that income inequality is so terrible and the richer
- 31:17Speaker 9: getting richer and blah blah blah, it is not true.
- 31:19Speaker 9: The Economist, a very left wing magazine, devoted an entire
- 31:25Speaker 9: cover story this week to the fact that actually, because
- 31:29Speaker 9: of progressive taxes such as we have here in the
- 31:31Speaker 9: United States, income inequality has been going down, not only
- 31:36Speaker 9: in the US but also in Europe. So their whole
- 31:39Speaker 9: narrative is wrong. It's wrong. They're wrong on marijuana, they're
- 31:43Speaker 9: wrong on gender surgeries, and they're wrong on economic inequality,
- 31:49Speaker 9: and you know, they'll never admit it, but the truth
- 31:51Speaker 9: is they're wrong. And so, you know, I think that
- 31:54Speaker 9: bleeds into reasonable and wise critiques of people like mom Donnie,
- 32:01Speaker 9: who's trying to force all this tax hikes and stuff
- 32:05Speaker 9: down the ridge because of income inequality, wealth and equality
- 32:08Speaker 9: and stuff, and people rightly are putting back, pushing back
- 32:12Speaker 9: and saying, hey, you're going to kill your own city.
- 32:14Speaker 9: So it's stupid but b your narrative is just false.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
