0:33
SPEAKER_04: There you go.
0:34
SPEAKER_00: Conserving water.
0:35
SPEAKER_04: Everybody's drinking a drink.
0:36
SPEAKER_04: I'm not drinking.

0:50
SPEAKER_07: It's been a long day at work today.
0:51
SPEAKER_03: Oh bless you.
0:52
SPEAKER_03: But you're it's not in a fancy cup.
0:55
SPEAKER_07: I left the the chalice is still in the you know my cabinet because I yeah, whatever.
1:01
SPEAKER_04: I thought it happened, honestly.
1:03
SPEAKER_07: Take it to the head.
1:04
SPEAKER_07: When was the last time?
1:05
SPEAKER_07: When was that last time you even used the word chalice?
1:09
SPEAKER_07: Every time I mention my Stella.
1:12
SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say with Agnes, it's probably on a daily basis.
1:15
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
1:17
SPEAKER_00: I have an expansive vernacular.
1:20
SPEAKER_04: Well, that's not potentious at all.
1:22
SPEAKER_07: I am very pretentious.
1:24
SPEAKER_06: I stop using big words like uh and the right.
1:29
SPEAKER_00: My bad.
1:33
SPEAKER_04: So how have you guys been?
1:35
SPEAKER_00: We have been good.
1:36
SPEAKER_00: How about you guys?
1:37
SPEAKER_04: We've been all right.
1:38
SPEAKER_04: We've actually since we started the hand, we jumped onto the hand fellas train in April.
1:43
SPEAKER_04: We've actually we actually have two to Brook the Joke episodes that we haven't edited that are in the bank.
1:49
SPEAKER_07: I'm waiting.
1:50
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so I mean uh they weren't really they were kind of ad-libbed.
1:54
SPEAKER_04: Um there's some good stuff in there.
1:56
SPEAKER_04: I did review some of it last night.
1:58
SPEAKER_04: I just haven't said anything to many.
2:00
SPEAKER_04: I haven't edited anything, but there's some good clips because I think what we're gonna do is we're gonna put out to keep the page alive while we let the dust settle on this Hanfellas thing because it kind of blew up quick.
2:11
SPEAKER_04: It did.
2:11
SPEAKER_04: Well, yeah.
2:12
SPEAKER_07: It phenomenal.
2:14
SPEAKER_07: Like this can't I know these numbers cannot be real.
2:16
SPEAKER_07: Not that they couldn't be, but it just like holy balls.
2:19
SPEAKER_00: But it's so I mean, I want to I definitely want to talk about it because I love it, but let's do an intro.
2:25
SPEAKER_00: Before we, yeah, before before we dive down that that hole.
2:30
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
2:31
SPEAKER_01: I had so much nervous for that comment.
2:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
2:35
SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
2:36
SPEAKER_04: You lead the way.
2:37
SPEAKER_04: However, you want to do this is fine.
2:38
SPEAKER_04: We're ready to talk about whatever and or each other.
2:42
SPEAKER_07: So first of all, tell us about Hand Fellas.
2:47
SPEAKER_07: No, no, actually, no.
2:48
SPEAKER_07: Let's start off with refresh out listeners' memories.
2:52
SPEAKER_07: Who are you?
2:52
SPEAKER_07: What do you do?
2:54
SPEAKER_07: And where are you going?
2:55
SPEAKER_04: All right, so I'm Omar Diaz.
2:57
SPEAKER_04: I'm Nanny Kalom.
2:58
SPEAKER_04: And we are too broke to joke.
3:00
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
3:01
SPEAKER_04: So that's what we are.
3:02
SPEAKER_04: So we got together, we've known each other for over 30 years.
3:05
SPEAKER_04: We got together late 2023, October 10th, actually, to be exact.
3:09
SPEAKER_04: Uh, it was kind of an idea that we've been tossing around.
3:12
SPEAKER_04: Um, we've always known that when we get together, there's a little bit of magic.
3:16
SPEAKER_04: But and and and if we had a dollar for every time that we said, fuck, why didn't we record?
3:21
SPEAKER_04: We'd be millionaires, right?
3:23
SPEAKER_04: So then, so then I said, Hey, why don't we record everybody's zoom pod?
3:26
SPEAKER_04: Let's do a fucking podcast.
3:27
SPEAKER_04: So he's like, All right, I'm in.
3:28
SPEAKER_04: And and it became that.
3:30
SPEAKER_04: And we were just, well, what are we gonna talk about?
3:31
SPEAKER_04: Well, kind of like Seinfeld, uh the podcast about nothing, nothing, just little, nothing and everything at the same time.
3:39
SPEAKER_04: Um, and of course, you know, we did it religiously.
3:42
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I think we're up to 21 episodes, yeah, right?
3:46
SPEAKER_04: 21 episodes, and uh in April, so I I I know the moment that it re- so hand fell is was something that I that I tried to do during COVID with my son, Gabby.
4:02
SPEAKER_04: And I didn't know a dick about editing, but I know a ton about movies.
4:07
SPEAKER_04: As you l if you've listened to that podcast, you know that I'm a big fucking movie geek, right?
4:12
SPEAKER_04: And Manny is not, he's he's like he has certain movies that he geeks out about, and I'm just a nerd about everything, right?
4:19
SPEAKER_04: So we call it autism, a little bit, a little definitely on the spectrum for sure.
4:25
SPEAKER_04: So uh during COVID, I saw I watched the movie called Ford versus Ferrari, and I really don't like those drama movies, but for some reason, because it's about cars, because I'm a big car uh I'm a big gearhead too.
4:39
SPEAKER_04: I said, Ah, let me sit down and watch it.
4:41
SPEAKER_04: And it was amazing.
4:42
SPEAKER_04: And one of the best scenes in that movie is when Christian Bale's wife figures out that he snuck out the night before.
4:51
SPEAKER_04: Christian Bale's an ex-race car driver that almost died, and his wife basically convinced him to be a mechanic and not drive anymore.
4:57
SPEAKER_04: So he said, I'm not gonna drive, but he's a really good driver.
5:00
SPEAKER_04: So Matt Damon, uh, who plays a real life person, uh Carol Shelby, basically goes to him and says, Hey, I I I designed a new car, I need a really good driver.
5:10
SPEAKER_04: He's like, You know, I can't do that, blah, blah, blah.
5:12
SPEAKER_04: He goes, Well, come meet me.
5:13
SPEAKER_04: And he went to pick him up in the middle of the night and didn't tell his wife.
5:15
SPEAKER_04: So basically the next day, the wife knows what's up.
5:19
SPEAKER_04: She looked out the window, he came home late, said, What were you doing last night?
5:22
SPEAKER_04: So he's completely said, What are you talking about?
5:23
SPEAKER_04: And he's eating a sandwich.
5:24
SPEAKER_04: So asked a couple times, and of course, she's driving, she loses her mind, floors it, and basically is trying to kill them on the highway to tell them to slow down.
5:32
SPEAKER_04: I won't slow down until you tell me what you did last night.
5:34
SPEAKER_04: And I thought that was just very funny.
5:37
SPEAKER_04: So Gabby and I recreated that scene with like minimal.
5:42
SPEAKER_04: I bought puppets just to do that, tiny little puppets.
5:46
SPEAKER_04: We used the TV set and YouTube as a background, and Gabby was the cinematographer, and Gabby was the one that knew how to edit.
5:52
SPEAKER_04: I didn't know anything about that stuff.
5:54
SPEAKER_04: So it took Gabby about six weeks to edit, to edit this because he just doesn't like it.
6:01
SPEAKER_04: But finished and did it, and I loved it.
6:04
SPEAKER_04: I posted it, I got some likes, and that was it.
6:06
SPEAKER_04: It died.
6:07
SPEAKER_04: Then in April, early April, I started we're, you know, everybody's doom scrolling, and there I remember it.
6:14
SPEAKER_04: The page is called Chupa Art, C-H-U-P-A-A-R-T.
6:19
SPEAKER_04: And it was a little because it was kind of when AI started coming out, and you're kind of is that AI?
6:25
SPEAKER_04: Is that not?
6:26
SPEAKER_04: This particular puppet looked real.
6:30
SPEAKER_04: That's how good the AI was.
6:31
SPEAKER_04: I thought it was a real puppet, and then it started dancing to a beat.
6:36
SPEAKER_04: And I realized it wasn't, but the feeling I got watched, I'm like, oh my god, if if if somehow we could like bottle this magic, I think that that that that we can make that work.
6:50
SPEAKER_04: So the idea I bought some puppets without telling anybody, and my idea the entire time was to recreate uh goodfellas.
7:00
SPEAKER_04: It was to recreate goodfellas using just rudimentary, just puppets with the clothes they came with and just kind of performing.
7:07
SPEAKER_04: When I was a kid, Sesame Street, it was big for me.
7:12
SPEAKER_04: And somebody gave me a Kermit the Frog puppet during high school, and I really played around with it a lot so much so that I realized that I was good at performing it, making it seem like it has emotions that would make people laugh.
7:26
SPEAKER_04: I'd always put it out.
7:27
SPEAKER_04: Matter of fact, I made an appearance at the block party here in Jersey and then it disappeared.
7:31
SPEAKER_04: I never saw it again.
7:32
SPEAKER_04: And right now, if I go to buy it, it's like a$500 puppet.
7:35
SPEAKER_07: Right.
7:36
SPEAKER_04: So anyway, so so I said to, we were recording, we had we were recording an episode of To Brook the Joke, and we were done.
7:44
SPEAKER_04: And I said to Manny, I said, Manny, why don't you help me record a puppet?
7:48
SPEAKER_04: Uh, I think a puppet.
7:49
SPEAKER_04: He goes, I don't know.
7:51
SPEAKER_04: So I said, hold on.
7:52
SPEAKER_04: So I went and I got the puppet, and he goes, Well, what do you want to do?
7:54
SPEAKER_04: I said, I want to do goodfellas.
7:56
SPEAKER_04: So I go, I said, I'd let it me at Goodfellas.
7:59
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
7:59
SPEAKER_04: So I so I played the video and I started performing.
8:03
SPEAKER_04: Tommy, what do you mean I'm funny?
8:05
SPEAKER_04: Funny, like what a clump?
8:06
SPEAKER_04: It was over.
8:07
SPEAKER_04: He's like, okay, let's do it.
8:08
SPEAKER_04: And that's what it was.
8:09
SPEAKER_04: And we did Goodfellas.
8:10
SPEAKER_04: We we recorded Goodfellas, and we're like, oh my God, we want to.
8:13
SPEAKER_06: But but it has to be said, the first run was us trying to cover the character on TV and putting the puppet in place.
8:22
SPEAKER_06: And that didn't work.
8:23
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so we were using the real scene in the background and then superimposing the puppet to the TV.
8:29
SPEAKER_04: That's that was kind of like it wasn't my original idea, but it was the only way to convey what I really wanted to do.
8:36
SPEAKER_04: I never really thought about recreating backgrounds and actually doing wardrobe.
8:40
SPEAKER_04: And so uh, so then we did we did good fellas.
8:44
SPEAKER_04: It came out so good.
8:45
SPEAKER_04: I remember having that feeling like, yo, there's magic here.
8:48
SPEAKER_04: What is going on?
8:50
SPEAKER_04: And we sat down.
8:51
SPEAKER_04: Matter of fact, I was just telling Manny today.
8:53
SPEAKER_04: I remember Manny was sitting right here.
8:55
SPEAKER_04: And I was sitting right here.
8:56
SPEAKER_04: Oh, sorry.
8:57
SPEAKER_04: I was sitting right here, manny, right there.
8:59
SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, so let's post this.
9:01
SPEAKER_04: He goes, we're gonna post it on our page.
9:02
SPEAKER_04: I go, nah, dude, we should have its own page because this is different.
9:05
SPEAKER_04: He's like, all right, well, what are we gonna call ourselves?
9:07
SPEAKER_04: And we can't we were throwing out these ridiculous names, and we had given up, actually.
9:12
SPEAKER_04: Guys who play with dolls, right?
9:14
SPEAKER_04: Uh up the butt, up the butt, right, up the butt.
9:20
SPEAKER_04: Uh, because we had already discussed, like, we don't want to be like Sesame Street, we wanted to be like Sesame Street, but for adults, almost like Son-Ups, like you're like adult swims around playing Sesame Street.
9:33
SPEAKER_00: Well, was that show with the puppets that they they used to do the crank calls?
9:36
SPEAKER_04: Crank yankers, right?
9:37
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, crank yankers.
9:38
SPEAKER_04: We also thought of that.
9:40
SPEAKER_04: We get we get comments all the time.
9:41
SPEAKER_04: Uh today last night, this is better than crank yankers, was some somebody said, and then last night somebody messaged me and said, I don't want to insult you, but uh please don't take this the wrong way.
9:52
SPEAKER_04: But I feel like what you guys are doing is really cool, and it's almost like Sesame Street, but for adults.
9:58
SPEAKER_04: And I said, dude, those are the exact words.
10:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's exactly how they look my hair stand up.
10:04
SPEAKER_04: So the fact that they get it, stranger got it.
10:08
SPEAKER_04: There's something there.
10:09
SPEAKER_04: There's something there.
10:10
SPEAKER_04: So then uh so we did, so we were kind of throwing names, so up the butt didn't work, and uh we tried it.
10:17
SPEAKER_04: We did try it.
10:19
SPEAKER_07: I'm like, did you try the name?
10:21
SPEAKER_07: No, the name, the name, the name.
10:25
SPEAKER_00: You know I'm gonna go.
10:26
SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's a little personal for this.
10:28
SPEAKER_03: Not that there's anything wrong with it, right?
10:30
SPEAKER_03: No, it's nothing right, right.
10:32
SPEAKER_03: Nothing wrong with it at all.
10:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, for you and me, not for our guests.
10:36
SPEAKER_07: But they're but they're not guests anymore, they're family.
10:38
SPEAKER_07: So there's no more yeah, you guys are well.
10:41
SPEAKER_07: This is our third recording together.
10:44
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, we don't no more niceties, no more politeness.
10:48
SPEAKER_07: We're going, we're gonna go deep.
10:49
SPEAKER_07: We're gonna go but not up the book, but not up the book.
10:53
SPEAKER_00: Agnes, you need a shovel.
10:57
SPEAKER_00: Agnes is about to need a shovel.
11:01
SPEAKER_04: So then we're tossing names around, and I said to her, I said, What about hand fellas?
11:06
SPEAKER_04: Goodfoot playing off.
11:07
SPEAKER_04: Goodfellas, right?
11:08
SPEAKER_04: Why don't you say handfellas?
11:09
SPEAKER_07: And it has a little double entangre thing going on, like and it didn't even hit us hard that at that moment.
11:16
SPEAKER_04: We're like, hey, let's see if it's available.
11:19
SPEAKER_04: So we so I went on Gmail.
11:21
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, is handfellas at gmail.com available?
11:24
SPEAKER_04: But if that if Gmail's available, everything else is available.
11:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
11:27
SPEAKER_04: So it put so up to butt was not available.
11:30
SPEAKER_04: No, then handfellas was available.
11:32
SPEAKER_04: Somebody beat us up there.
11:34
SPEAKER_04: So we looked up handfellas, and apparently there was an old YouTube channel that lasted like three months called Handfellas.
11:40
SPEAKER_04: And was it Papasoso?
11:42
SPEAKER_04: No, it was cartoons, it was cartoons, it was cartoons.
11:45
SPEAKER_04: So so then I created we created the Gmail, and then I'm like, let's just do Instagram.
11:49
SPEAKER_04: Is Instagram available?
11:50
SPEAKER_04: Boom.
11:51
SPEAKER_04: We did it all in that moment Instagram, TikTok, YouTube.
11:54
SPEAKER_04: We just locked it all in in that one shot.
11:56
SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, dude, we'll just post it on this page fucking then.
11:59
SPEAKER_04: We'll just repost it on ours on the on the two broke to jobs since that one had you know a little over 3,000 followers at the time.
12:06
SPEAKER_04: So we reposted it, and little by little, it little by little, in that first week, got pretty good response.
12:13
SPEAKER_04: That first week we got up to 1200 followers in one week.
12:15
SPEAKER_00: Wow, that's great, right?
12:17
SPEAKER_04: Because remember, we so that one week, about 10 days later, we made the one the thousand followers.
12:22
SPEAKER_05: Yep, yep, yep, yep.
12:24
SPEAKER_04: And then amazing.
12:25
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it was pretty crazy.
12:26
SPEAKER_04: And then uh it was fast.
12:28
SPEAKER_04: It was pretty fast.
12:29
SPEAKER_04: And then two weeks later, 5k, and three weeks after that, 10k.
12:35
SPEAKER_04: So now we're at 13.7, something like that.
12:38
SPEAKER_04: It it it really gained a lot after Jaws.
12:41
SPEAKER_04: And I think it was just one of those timing things because the Jaw, I didn't know the Jaws 50th anniversary is August 29th.
12:47
SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
12:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's just this month.
12:49
SPEAKER_04: And I always wanted to do Jaws, though.
12:51
SPEAKER_04: We're gonna need you're gonna need a bigger boat.
12:53
SPEAKER_06: I mean, we talked about it that first day.
12:55
SPEAKER_06: I don't I didn't even know it had such, I mean, I know it's a great movie, everybody loves it, but I didn't think it had such a co-following.
13:01
SPEAKER_00: Like people follow- I didn't either until this summer.
13:06
SPEAKER_04: Huge following.
13:08
SPEAKER_07: I need to know behind the scenes.
13:11
SPEAKER_07: You guys need to let me know what other clips you plan on doing because I want I I want to be in the know.
13:16
SPEAKER_04: So we have we do have some clips here.
13:18
SPEAKER_04: How about I bring some puppets and you can see, get a little sneak peek of what's I want to be a I want to be a special guest of one of your clips.
13:24
SPEAKER_07: I want to.
13:25
SPEAKER_06: Well, what we did, uh continue talking while you're gone.
13:28
SPEAKER_06: Well, what we did for the 10,000 follower, uh, we we recorded who it was.
13:33
SPEAKER_06: I went and looked really quick.
13:35
SPEAKER_06: I told Omar, I said, Omar Scott Connolly, some guy named Scott Connolly.
13:39
SPEAKER_06: Shout out to Scott Connolly.
13:40
SPEAKER_06: Uh he was really cool if he's watching.
13:43
SPEAKER_06: He was really cool.
13:44
SPEAKER_06: We told him, Thank you for being a 10,000 follower.
13:47
SPEAKER_06: Uh Omar came up with an idea where we want to make a puppet in your likeness and use it in one of our videos.
13:54
SPEAKER_06: And we did.
13:54
SPEAKER_06: The Jay and Silent Bob, the one where they showed their cards.
13:59
SPEAKER_06: Oh, yeah.
14:01
SPEAKER_06: The one with the beard, that's Scott Connolly.
14:03
SPEAKER_06: It even says it on the card when he shows it.
14:05
SPEAKER_07: Oh, that's so cool.
14:06
SPEAKER_07: You guys are so cool.
14:07
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and he was so cool.
14:08
SPEAKER_07: And I'll never say that again, okay?
14:09
SPEAKER_06: So just that's how you said it once.
14:12
SPEAKER_06: It's recorded.
14:14
SPEAKER_07: So just keep playing it over and over.
14:16
SPEAKER_07: You need a high, okay?
14:18
SPEAKER_06: But I thought that was a great idea, man.
14:20
SPEAKER_06: And it worked out, and the guy was so happy.
14:22
SPEAKER_06: And we're we're we're trying to make sure that we do talk to our followers and thank them for everything they do, even if they like it, whatever.
14:31
SPEAKER_06: We have conversations with them.
14:32
SPEAKER_06: We try to respond to every comment.
14:37
SPEAKER_04: We try to respond to every comment.
14:41
SPEAKER_03: So, do you guys know who this is?
14:44
SPEAKER_00: Well, at first I thought it was Jigsaw, but now I don't think so.
14:47
SPEAKER_07: I thought it was Jigsaw too, but um no.
14:50
SPEAKER_06: Which Batman movie is that?
14:51
SPEAKER_06: The Dark Knight.
14:52
SPEAKER_06: The Dark Knight.
14:53
SPEAKER_06: The very first scene, the bank robbery with the Joker.
14:56
SPEAKER_00: Oh, with yes, okay.
14:57
SPEAKER_00: I didn't see that one.
14:59
SPEAKER_00: Shut up.
15:03
SPEAKER_07: I like Batman, but that's a Joker.
15:05
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
15:07
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
15:08
SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna do that.
15:10
SPEAKER_03: We're gonna do the Joker.
15:13
SPEAKER_03: Um we're gonna do here.
15:17
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's one.
15:17
SPEAKER_07: Grab him by the mouth.
15:19
SPEAKER_03: Bring a few.
15:20
SPEAKER_07: That's what I always do.
15:20
SPEAKER_07: They seem to like it.
15:24
SPEAKER_06: So that's gonna be a cool scene, though, because uh he still has to add more red around the face.
15:29
SPEAKER_06: Uh-huh.
15:30
SPEAKER_06: It'll be a cool scene.
15:31
SPEAKER_06: And we're also gonna do the scene where he makes the pencil disappear.
15:35
SPEAKER_06: You want to see a magic trick?
15:36
SPEAKER_06: And he puts the pencil and he slams the guy's head.
15:43
SPEAKER_07: You have to see the Dark Knight.
15:44
SPEAKER_07: I've seen they're good.
15:45
SPEAKER_07: All three of them, yeah.
15:46
SPEAKER_07: The Christian Bale Batman.
15:48
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, well, we did we did we did the Michael Keaton Batman.
15:53
SPEAKER_00: Batterer as Batman.
15:55
SPEAKER_07: I like Christian Bale.
15:57
SPEAKER_07: It would, those are a good trilogy that he that was a good threesome.
16:00
SPEAKER_00: I mean, he's not the worst Batman.
16:02
SPEAKER_07: Oh wait, I feel stupid.
16:06
SPEAKER_07: The Spider-Man kiss scene.
16:07
SPEAKER_07: The Spider-Man Kiss upside down.
16:09
SPEAKER_06: When he's hanging down and she rolls down his mask and kisses.
16:12
SPEAKER_07: Oh, okay, that's Spider-Man.
16:13
SPEAKER_07: Okay, okay.
16:14
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and Mary Jane with tits.
16:15
SPEAKER_07: Mary Jane, yeah.
16:17
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we're she has Oh sorry.
16:20
SPEAKER_04: No, they're tits.
16:24
SPEAKER_07: A little excited thing, Omar.
16:27
SPEAKER_07: Knock knock.
16:31
SPEAKER_07: Um Dina.
16:58
SPEAKER_04: We're gonna do a little bit of uh we're gonna do uh the hangover.
17:02
SPEAKER_04: Oh hangover.
17:05
SPEAKER_06: Um uh we do um uh we we already shot another jaw scene that we're gonna release for the uh on the 29th.
17:16
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, for the anniversary.
17:18
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I threw a little preview on TikTok today.
17:20
SPEAKER_04: If people want to pre-see it, they can check it out on Patreon.
17:22
SPEAKER_04: I gotta get people to come to Patreon.
17:25
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
17:26
unknown: Yeah, that's hard.
17:28
SPEAKER_04: So, like, we gotta do some girly movies.
17:31
SPEAKER_07: So I don't necessarily need a girly movie personally.
17:34
SPEAKER_00: Uh he's not just making them for you.
17:37
SPEAKER_07: Because I'm just throwing my personal opinion in there.
17:39
SPEAKER_07: Not all girls like girly movies.
17:41
SPEAKER_00: He's got 12,999 other followers that he's gonna create content for.
17:47
SPEAKER_00: I'm just not all, I mean, yes, you need some girly movies.
17:50
SPEAKER_07: What girly?
17:51
SPEAKER_04: So like uh uh pretty woman.
17:54
SPEAKER_07: Oh, dirty dancing, when Harry meant dirty dancing.
17:57
SPEAKER_04: When Harry meant Sally when they when they jump doing the lift, I know that movie word for word.
18:02
SPEAKER_06: I can't say give us the hard scene.
18:07
SPEAKER_06: We all have legs.
18:09
SPEAKER_00: If you if you if you need any uh voice, um in a min for any of them.
18:15
SPEAKER_04: Cool.
18:15
SPEAKER_04: That sounds fun.
18:16
SPEAKER_04: Matter of fact, uh the furry, uh, an old elementary school friend of mine who's an actress voiced the puppet for the AMC parody that we did.
18:27
SPEAKER_04: That's so cool.
18:28
SPEAKER_04: The movie theater parody.
18:29
SPEAKER_07: I said it twice.
18:29
SPEAKER_04: Fuck the movie theater parody where she's going to the movie theater and then you see the.
18:34
SPEAKER_04: I don't think I saw that one.
18:35
SPEAKER_06: Oh, the actress?
18:37
SPEAKER_06: Uh Nicole Kidman.
18:38
SPEAKER_06: Nicole Kidman.
18:39
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
18:40
SPEAKER_06: When she was trying to get everybody after COVID to come back to the movies, she did a whole thing.
18:44
SPEAKER_06: We re remade it.
18:45
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
18:45
SPEAKER_00: I didn't see that one.
18:46
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I didn't see that one.
18:48
SPEAKER_06: If you go to an AMC movie theater, they always four.
18:52
SPEAKER_00: I haven't been to a movie theater probably since been a long time.
18:56
SPEAKER_00: I don't they don't really let me out of here much.
19:00
SPEAKER_00: I can't see but the shackles are.
19:02
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, I we I want to do uh the notebook.
19:05
SPEAKER_00: Never saw it.
19:06
SPEAKER_04: Oh god.
19:07
SPEAKER_04: It's a good movie.
19:08
SPEAKER_04: It's a good movie.
19:09
SPEAKER_00: I hear it, I hear it makes you cry.
19:11
SPEAKER_04: We're gonna actually think about doing a Django and Chain.
19:14
SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah, okay.
19:18
SPEAKER_07: Have you guys seen Sinners?
19:20
SPEAKER_07: No, but I heard it's really good.
19:22
SPEAKER_07: It's fucking amazing.
19:24
SPEAKER_06: Is it though?
19:25
SPEAKER_06: I started watching it, I I didn't get into it, and I go out.
19:30
SPEAKER_06: Cool.
19:31
SPEAKER_06: The casting was definitely good.
19:33
SPEAKER_06: I like the cast and the cool.
19:35
SPEAKER_06: I might be.
19:36
SPEAKER_06: I definitely want to watch it.
19:37
SPEAKER_06: I'm definitely gonna watch it.
19:38
SPEAKER_07: You have to watch it.
19:39
SPEAKER_04: If I watch it tonight, I have a I have to stay up tonight.
19:41
SPEAKER_04: I'll probably watch it.
19:42
SPEAKER_07: I might I'm gonna re-watch it again.
19:44
SPEAKER_04: Cool.
19:44
SPEAKER_04: So so to kind of put a little cherry on the recap, uh basically what we are looking to do is why do we want to do this and why do we feel that there's magic here?
19:55
SPEAKER_04: I feel like our audience, we know our audience, they're people that are our age, Gen Xers, people that grew up watching Sesame Street and watching movies as pop culture.
20:07
SPEAKER_04: Because we didn't have the internet, right?
20:09
SPEAKER_04: And I think that this, when you watch that, and Manny's right, like when you watch a even if it's even if it's not perfectly done to the original scene, the sound that we're using from the movie almost helps recreate the whole memory in your head, and it makes it easy to watch.
20:26
SPEAKER_06: It gives the puppets emotions, even when they're emotionless.
20:31
SPEAKER_06: You you it's just a puppet face, but once you hear the audio, it's done so well for the movie, it just your brain just gets tricked into thinking there's emotional.
20:40
SPEAKER_07: That there's emotional there.
20:41
SPEAKER_07: That per that puppet's a person, right?
20:43
SPEAKER_06: Right.
20:44
SPEAKER_06: It happens every time.
20:45
SPEAKER_06: There's times where we're filming and we're editing, and he's like, Oh, should I change this?
20:50
SPEAKER_06: And I was so into the video and looking.
20:53
SPEAKER_06: I oh, I'm sorry, play it again, and I'll tell you.
20:55
SPEAKER_06: Because I was so into it, I was so into the character.
20:58
SPEAKER_07: You're watching a movie, you're not watching puppets.
21:00
SPEAKER_06: That's a and another thing that nobody else is well, nobody's doing what we're doing.
21:04
SPEAKER_06: Nobody, nobody's what we're doing.
21:06
SPEAKER_06: Uh and I definitely no one's putting in the work that's being put in.
21:10
SPEAKER_06: We're putting it work.
21:11
SPEAKER_06: We started up against the TV.
21:13
SPEAKER_06: We have a whole green screen setup now.
21:15
SPEAKER_06: We use green screen.
21:16
SPEAKER_00: I know I saw a video of like how you make it.
21:22
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
21:22
SPEAKER_00: But I mean, even just that video, I'm sure it doesn't, you know, do it justice.
21:28
SPEAKER_04: Uh so an example, last night's final Jaws scene that we did for this year, which is when the captain gets eaten by the shark.
21:37
SPEAKER_04: The the clip is a minute long.
21:39
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
21:40
SPEAKER_04: Prep alone, dressing the prep, and that's because this is the third clip.
21:44
SPEAKER_04: So I'm just letting you know I'm the the original dress prep was six and a half hours.
21:49
SPEAKER_04: I would take that and divide by three because we did three clips.
21:52
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so that doesn't, it's not too crazy.
21:54
SPEAKER_04: We use the puppet three times.
21:56
SPEAKER_04: But the the shoot itself took seven hours.
22:04
SPEAKER_06: The shoot.
22:05
SPEAKER_06: I think our record is sixteen hours.
22:07
SPEAKER_06: Sixteen hours shooting video.
22:08
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
22:09
SPEAKER_04: Shooting, just to shoot.
22:11
SPEAKER_04: And that was was that Fifth Element?
22:13
SPEAKER_04: Uh Matrix.
22:14
SPEAKER_04: I think it was Matrix.
22:15
SPEAKER_04: Matrix.
22:15
SPEAKER_04: We stayed up till mad late.
22:17
SPEAKER_04: That till like four in the morning.
22:19
SPEAKER_04: It was sixteen hours.
22:20
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you showed up.
22:21
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that makes sense.
22:21
SPEAKER_04: Because you got here like at eleven in the morning.
22:24
SPEAKER_04: In the morning.
22:25
SPEAKER_04: And I drove, we left here like close to five in the morning.
22:28
SPEAKER_04: Yep.
22:29
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
22:29
SPEAKER_04: And that's just the shoot.
22:31
SPEAKER_04: That's not editing.
22:32
SPEAKER_04: That's not editing or anything.
22:33
SPEAKER_04: And that one, that one took 12 and a half hours of editing.
22:37
SPEAKER_04: It's not easy.
22:38
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
22:38
SPEAKER_04: Oh, oh no.
22:39
SPEAKER_04: And Matrix was a minute 24 seconds.
22:43
SPEAKER_00: So aside from shooting and editing, what is your process like?
22:50
SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you pick the clips?
22:51
SPEAKER_00: And then once you pick the clip, then what?
22:54
SPEAKER_04: I don't pick the clips.
22:55
SPEAKER_06: I my hairs pick the clips.
22:57
SPEAKER_06: Okay, this guy will he'll pick a clip and we're talking about it.
23:01
SPEAKER_06: We're gonna film that next, and then the next day he'll shoot me.
23:04
SPEAKER_06: No, the next video is gonna be he has so many clips in the yeah.
23:08
SPEAKER_04: So so like so basically, look, uh every movie has an icon, whether you're a fan or not, okay, iconic movie clips everybody knows, like Coca-Cola.
23:18
SPEAKER_04: You can go to Africa, say Coca-Cola, and they're gonna know what Coca-Cola is, anywhere on the planet, right?
23:26
SPEAKER_04: So we we I try to pick, I mean, we both, because obviously there's a genre that Manny's much better at than I am, and and vice versa.
23:35
SPEAKER_04: So when I pick a scene, I know that it's gonna hit the nerds the way that it hits.
23:39
SPEAKER_04: And and I try to pick a scene, I use my wife as the backboard because my wife is not a movie person, but good movies and good clips remembers, and that's the audience I want to hit.
23:52
SPEAKER_07: It resonates something that resonates with with everybody, right?
23:56
SPEAKER_00: And the first thing I'm the same way, I don't see a lot of movies, but the but you say uh a line or whatever, and it and it's iconic enough, and I'm like, oh, that's from such and such.
24:06
SPEAKER_00: I've never even seen the movie, but you know to associate.
24:10
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
24:10
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, so that's brilliant.
24:11
SPEAKER_04: So when so when we were when we were prepping pulp fiction, I remember the night I was making the suitcase.
24:19
SPEAKER_04: Uh because I I have I have a cardboard making ability that who the fuck knows.
24:25
SPEAKER_04: I during COVID, I discovered it, and here I am.
24:28
SPEAKER_04: So anyway, um, I was making the suitcase and I was talking to Sasha upstairs.
24:35
SPEAKER_04: I went night sure.
24:36
SPEAKER_04: I took a video that night.
24:37
SPEAKER_04: I said, Sasha's video this and I opened it, I put a little light in it, and she's like, Yeah, she's like, so what are them, what's you, what are you gonna do next?
24:44
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I don't know.
24:46
SPEAKER_04: I need like iconic.
24:47
SPEAKER_04: She's like, out of the top of her head, she's like, you should do the Braveheart speech.
24:52
SPEAKER_04: Oh, and I said, My hair, look, my hair stood up.
24:55
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I'm like, you know what?
24:56
SPEAKER_04: Give me that briefcase.
24:57
SPEAKER_04: I'm going downstairs.
24:58
SPEAKER_04: He's like, What are you doing?
24:58
SPEAKER_04: I said, I'm gonna go make a horse.
25:00
SPEAKER_04: And I made a horse.
25:01
SPEAKER_04: And that night I shot Braveheart.
25:04
SPEAKER_04: I finished at three at three o'clock in the morning.
25:06
SPEAKER_04: She made that statement at 9:30 at night, and at three o'clock in the morning, I wrapped the shoot and I started editing at 4:15, and I was finished editing by like like nine.
25:17
SPEAKER_04: No, it took longer because I kept sending it because Manny, I send it to Manny, he says, do this.
25:21
SPEAKER_04: He sends it back.
25:22
SPEAKER_04: Okay, no, don't do that.
25:24
SPEAKER_04: Maybe you should do this, and I'll go back.
25:25
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, maybe I should do this.
25:26
SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, yeah, do that.
25:27
SPEAKER_04: So we'll back and forth, even when he's not here, right?
25:30
SPEAKER_04: Because the equipment's here.
25:31
SPEAKER_04: I'm here, I'm working, I'm up.
25:32
SPEAKER_04: Let's just get it done.
25:33
SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't care who does the work.
25:35
SPEAKER_04: As long as we're both using our minds to make it, the product is what matters.
25:39
SPEAKER_04: When we get big, we'll have a team.
25:41
SPEAKER_04: Don't worry about that.
25:43
SPEAKER_04: Let's just work.
25:44
SPEAKER_04: So that's where we're at.
25:46
SPEAKER_04: And uh, so there's tons of stuff.
25:48
SPEAKER_06: Oh, God.
25:49
SPEAKER_06: So um there's some AI involved in it.
25:52
SPEAKER_06: Well, yeah.
25:52
SPEAKER_06: But very minimal.
25:53
SPEAKER_06: And we get we get some haters.
25:55
SPEAKER_06: Of course, when you got something good going on, you're always gonna have the haters on the internet.
25:59
SPEAKER_07: So there's that's how you know you're doing the right thing.
26:01
SPEAKER_06: Right, right.
26:02
SPEAKER_07: You have haters, you know you're making it big.
26:04
SPEAKER_06: Right, right.
26:04
SPEAKER_06: If you if you're if you don't have haters, you're doing something wrong.
26:07
SPEAKER_06: But so this guy wanted to bash us about how we're using AI.
26:12
SPEAKER_06: We're only using AI for our backgrounds.
26:15
SPEAKER_06: So we'll tell AI to create a background for us, we'll describe it, he'll create it, and then we film against it.
26:21
SPEAKER_06: So that's the only AI where that's the only way we're using AI.
26:25
SPEAKER_06: Now, uh Omar actually does.
26:29
SPEAKER_06: The shark is made out of cardboard.
26:32
SPEAKER_06: The dinosaur.
26:34
SPEAKER_06: I'll bring the cardboard.
26:35
SPEAKER_06: I'll bring the dinosaur.
26:36
SPEAKER_06: So you're gonna get a sneak freak of Jurassic Park the T-Rex chase.
26:42
unknown: Okay.
26:44
SPEAKER_06: Just the the head, not the whole chain.
26:46
SPEAKER_06: So he's not gonna run away.
26:47
SPEAKER_00: Just the head.
26:48
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
26:50
SPEAKER_04: No, what the buttons.
26:52
SPEAKER_04: Have you not seen the Jurassic Park clip we have out?
26:56
SPEAKER_00: No.
26:57
SPEAKER_00: They don't watch our videos.
26:58
SPEAKER_00: I haven't, I haven't listened I I do like that video.
27:04
SPEAKER_00: I don't even listen to my own podcast.
27:05
SPEAKER_00: So please don't take it back to the video.
27:07
SPEAKER_00: I haven't I haven't been on the show.
27:10
SPEAKER_00: As much, yeah.
27:11
SPEAKER_07: You better be following, both of us.
27:13
SPEAKER_07: But I will say I do follow.
27:14
SPEAKER_07: I'm a follower and a sharer.
27:16
SPEAKER_00: Remember, but the first time I saw one of those videos, right?
27:21
SPEAKER_00: I was like, this gotta be them.
27:23
SPEAKER_00: I don't know how it popped up on my face.
27:26
SPEAKER_00: And I sent it straight to my video.
27:27
SPEAKER_01: So before you knew, before you knew.
27:29
SPEAKER_00: Before we knew we knew.
27:30
SPEAKER_00: We're like, oh I was like, I sent it to her and I was like, is this?
27:34
SPEAKER_00: And she was like, I don't know.
27:36
SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll ask.
27:36
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, all right.
27:37
SPEAKER_00: And then she was like, it was fucking knew it.
27:41
SPEAKER_06: On the channel, it's like from the creatives of Two Broke the Joe.
27:44
SPEAKER_07: She didn't even look at that.
27:45
SPEAKER_07: It was just like the video.
27:47
SPEAKER_07: She doesn't know.
27:48
SPEAKER_07: She's like, video, this is them.
27:49
SPEAKER_07: She knows you guys so well.
27:51
SPEAKER_06: Omar Omar creates everything with cardboard.
27:53
SPEAKER_06: He's made a gigantic T-Rex head that we're gonna use for the Jurassic Park chase scene.
27:58
SPEAKER_06: He did the shark is made out of cardboard.
28:01
SPEAKER_06: If you look at the draw state, even the boat is cardboard, so it keeps it real puppetry.
28:07
SPEAKER_06: You understand what I'm saying?
28:07
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
28:08
SPEAKER_06: We're not using AI to create a boat, and we're you know what I mean?
28:12
SPEAKER_06: The background of inside the boat, that's another thing.
28:14
SPEAKER_00: But I think that that's a smart use of it.
28:16
unknown: Yeah.
28:17
SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, the the background is just the background.
28:20
SPEAKER_00: It's not, you know, it's not the actual work.
28:25
SPEAKER_06: Omar puts in a lot of work, and and he's the one that dresses.
28:28
SPEAKER_06: I can't be here all the time.
28:29
SPEAKER_06: I live in New York.
28:30
SPEAKER_06: He lives in Jersey.
28:32
SPEAKER_06: And I have he works from home.
28:34
SPEAKER_06: That's that's the beauty of the whole thing for him.
28:36
SPEAKER_06: He works from home.
28:37
SPEAKER_06: I don't.
28:38
SPEAKER_06: I gotta literally work a schedule, somebody else's schedule, and wait till my days off to come here.
28:43
SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
28:44
SPEAKER_07: I don't miss those days.
28:46
SPEAKER_06: I hear him coming.
28:48
SPEAKER_03: Sorry, Sasha got here.
28:50
SPEAKER_03: I have to debrief.
28:52
SPEAKER_06: I put it down.
28:52
SPEAKER_06: Don't let it seem.
28:53
SPEAKER_06: Don't let it be.
28:53
SPEAKER_06: Okay, come on.
28:54
SPEAKER_06: We'll do one by one.
28:59
SPEAKER_05: Don't tell me what to do.
29:01
SPEAKER_05: Shut up.
29:02
SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
29:08
SPEAKER_07: Did I show her the boat?
29:12
SPEAKER_07: This is like the best like out clip we're gonna ever have.
29:22
SPEAKER_06: And literally, oh, we did AI water.
29:25
SPEAKER_06: It wasn't AI.
29:26
SPEAKER_06: We actually found green screen water on YouTube.
29:29
SPEAKER_07: Okay, okay.
29:30
SPEAKER_06: And we use that for water.
29:31
SPEAKER_06: But this is the boat on a stick, and we just like a jalapeno on a stick.
29:39
SPEAKER_06: And then this is the shark, and this is the dinosaur.
29:42
SPEAKER_06: Look at this dinosaur.
29:46
SPEAKER_06: He's screaming in the back, no.
29:54
SPEAKER_06: But I I I gotta tell you I gotta tell you before Omar comes the the the shark, it it looks a little down syndromey.
30:03
SPEAKER_06: I'm sorry.
30:06
SPEAKER_07: He puts his head closer to the screen, like right.
30:10
SPEAKER_04: So the first cardboard puppet that we ever displayed was Braveheart's horse.
30:18
SPEAKER_04: And this it took me about 90 minutes to make them.
30:23
SPEAKER_04: That's a hundred percent better than anything I could have done.
30:26
SPEAKER_04: So I'm so but the whole thing is I've never made a thing for a puppet, so I said, How am I how do I put the puppet on here?
30:34
SPEAKER_04: Right.
30:35
SPEAKER_04: So I made a hole on the top.
30:38
SPEAKER_04: Right so you can put your hand through it and put the puppet.
30:41
SPEAKER_04: So these are cloth, these are clothesline sticks that I broke off and I just taped them.
30:46
SPEAKER_00: What are they chopsticks?
30:47
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
30:48
SPEAKER_04: So then so then Braveheart is here talking, and this is the horse.
30:52
SPEAKER_04: This is our the hair's made out of yarn and hot glue, and everything else is cardboard.
30:56
SPEAKER_04: I I had googly eyes that I ordered.
30:58
SPEAKER_00: Brilliant.
30:59
SPEAKER_04: So this is the first puppet, and then uh, I mean, mind you, I'm not gonna bring out the whole quarter of little accessories like suit the guns and yeah, yeah.
31:10
SPEAKER_04: Telephones and bull horns and I mean all kinds of shit.
31:13
SPEAKER_07: So then you did all, but that's all the work that you've done.
31:16
SPEAKER_07: You've done the bullhorns and the guns and the whole made out of cardboard.
31:22
SPEAKER_07: Fucking amazing.
31:22
SPEAKER_04: So this is the brachiosaur from Jurassic Park, from our Jurassic Park clip.
31:28
SPEAKER_04: Where are you?
31:29
SPEAKER_04: Oh, there you are.
31:30
SPEAKER_04: So basically, so I so I wore a giant green screen.
31:36
SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, how am I gonna hold this and have a can you put that on for us too?
31:41
SPEAKER_00: So we can go.
31:43
SPEAKER_06: The green suit?
31:44
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, he wears a green suit.
31:45
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, no.
31:47
SPEAKER_04: You ever see a green screen suit with tits?
31:50
SPEAKER_04: That's that's me.
31:51
SPEAKER_04: Well, like a giant green boulder.
31:56
SPEAKER_00: All all I'm picturing but the music guy, the music the music next bugger.
32:02
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all I'm picturing is uh from It's Always Sunny when Charlie's like man on the street or whatever, the green suit.
32:09
SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, yeah.
32:11
SPEAKER_04: So then I'm like, all right, so how am I gonna wear the green screen suit and manipulate this gigantic thing?
32:17
SPEAKER_04: Because it needed to be big to give that feeling, right?
32:21
SPEAKER_04: That scale.
32:22
SPEAKER_04: So I wound up adding this out of cardboard, it's a mouthpiece, so I can hold it.
32:27
SPEAKER_04: Hold it with my mouth and then public here the leg and the neck itself.
32:33
SPEAKER_04: So that's kind of and if you look at the video, it's purple.
32:37
SPEAKER_04: It's chef's care.
32:38
SPEAKER_04: So when you when you check out the video, you let me know what you think of it.
32:41
SPEAKER_04: So then after that, I got really inspired about Jurassic Park, and I said, So we now have to do the T-Rex chase when they're getting chased by the T-Rex.
32:51
SPEAKER_04: So I kind of blacked out a little bit.
32:54
SPEAKER_06: No, but this is most impressive piece.
32:59
SPEAKER_07: What?
33:00
SPEAKER_07: What the fuck?
33:01
SPEAKER_07: Holy shit.
33:02
SPEAKER_06: This is my chance.
33:03
SPEAKER_04: This is my T-Rex head from Jurassic Park.
33:05
SPEAKER_04: That's nothing, make it work.
33:09
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
33:11
SPEAKER_00: That's pretty cool.
33:12
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, look at her jaw drop.
33:15
SPEAKER_07: That's you be our friend.
33:18
SPEAKER_06: Get my good side.
33:20
SPEAKER_06: Can you get my good side?
33:21
SPEAKER_07: That's actually a good side.
33:24
SPEAKER_07: Is this my good side?
33:25
SPEAKER_07: You don't have a bad side, baby.
33:29
SPEAKER_07: And I'm talking to the T-Rex, okay?
33:31
SPEAKER_07: So this is the TR.
33:32
SPEAKER_07: This is a box.
33:32
SPEAKER_04: It's a basically a box.
33:33
SPEAKER_07: This is fucking amazing.
33:34
SPEAKER_04: And I started folding it.
33:36
SPEAKER_04: Okay, so can I give you a little background on how I got good at this cardboard shit?
33:40
SPEAKER_04: Please.
33:40
SPEAKER_04: The first time I ever did a cardboard costume, for some reason during COVID, I got so bored and I told Gabby, Gabby, we're gonna dress up as Ripley and uh Queen Alien for Halloween.
33:52
SPEAKER_04: Oh, nice.
33:53
SPEAKER_04: It was like, what do you mean?
33:54
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, a full body, you're gonna wear a full body yellow robot suit.
33:59
SPEAKER_04: I don't know you're gonna be able to do that.
34:01
SPEAKER_04: I said, that's all you need to tell me is you think I that you think I can't do it, I'm gonna do it.
34:05
SPEAKER_04: So I wound up doing, I don't have suit.
34:08
SPEAKER_06: Maybe you can send the pictures and you can add that somehow.
34:11
SPEAKER_06: I'll send you the videos, yeah.
34:13
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
34:13
SPEAKER_04: So um, well, I can't unhang it, but if it's it's right, you point, you can see it.
34:19
SPEAKER_04: See this?
34:20
SPEAKER_07: Yes.
34:21
SPEAKER_04: Oh this is the queen, the queen alien.
34:24
SPEAKER_07: I thought that was like something you bought.
34:26
SPEAKER_07: I was holding mother of balls.
34:29
SPEAKER_04: That's made of cardboard.
34:30
SPEAKER_04: It's made out of cardboard, and then the teeth.
34:32
SPEAKER_04: The teeth are an old garbage can that I threw out and I painted silver, and then for the slime I use hot glue.
34:37
SPEAKER_04: So this is the queen head, it goes all the way to the wall.
34:40
SPEAKER_04: It's about four feet.
34:41
SPEAKER_04: And I used to wear this as a like a helmet, and I built an entire with a I have a the tail on you could probably see it from there.
34:50
SPEAKER_03: This is the queen tail that I made.
34:55
SPEAKER_01: Damn.
34:56
SPEAKER_05: And that's all cardboard.
34:57
SPEAKER_05: There's all cardboard.
34:58
SPEAKER_00: Wait, the tail is cardboard, also?
35:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I never would have guessed that.
35:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
35:02
SPEAKER_04: So how but how do I make it articulate?
35:04
SPEAKER_04: I took a roll of uh elastic waistband and I hogglued it in between the pieces.
35:10
SPEAKER_06: So that's so it moves like that.
35:12
SPEAKER_04: So it moves like this.
35:14
SPEAKER_00: It's pretty freaking brilliant.
35:16
SPEAKER_04: And and then Gabby was wearing a whole loader suit, which was two of these arms that go all the way to the floor, had a full roll cage around the body, and I and was inside a cardboard suit, but I put fake legs on it with shoes, so it looks like she's riding on it.
35:33
SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
35:34
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
35:35
SPEAKER_04: And so we hung out and and uh and gave out candy during COVID during that day.
35:40
SPEAKER_04: So yeah, so that was back in 2020.
35:42
SPEAKER_04: So it's almost like we've been practicing for hand fellas this whole thing.
35:47
SPEAKER_07: They didn't even know.
35:48
SPEAKER_07: It was way.
35:49
SPEAKER_04: They didn't even know.
35:50
SPEAKER_04: Editing, like when I had when we had the dance studio, I used to do all the recital videos, and that's how I learned how to edit.
35:56
SPEAKER_04: I had to.
35:58
SPEAKER_04: So then, and then doing the podcast, come on, like all the practice doing that.
36:02
SPEAKER_07: So it kind of feels like Tubrook was also using the stepping stone.
36:10
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it was the destiny.
36:12
SPEAKER_07: This was your destiny.
36:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so you saw the boat, right?
36:14
SPEAKER_03: You saw the boat.
36:15
SPEAKER_07: Saw the boat.
36:16
SPEAKER_03: Saw the boat.
36:16
SPEAKER_06: I showed him the dinosaur head too.
36:18
SPEAKER_06: So you played yourself showing it again.
36:21
SPEAKER_04: This is the beacon barrel from Jaws that we made that we made out of cardboard.
36:28
SPEAKER_04: So I had a an LED, one of those magnet lights that you put on the car when you have a flat tire and you don't get run over on the highway.
36:34
SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
36:35
SPEAKER_04: I wrapped it in cardboard.
36:40
SPEAKER_06: And that's floating on the water in the scene.
36:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
36:43
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, this is the barrel that's floating on the water.
36:45
SPEAKER_06: And the stick is green for obvious reasons.
36:47
SPEAKER_06: Okay, for obvious reasons.
36:50
SPEAKER_04: And then and then the shark.
36:53
SPEAKER_04: The jark, the jark.
36:56
SPEAKER_03: It's jaw.
36:57
SPEAKER_03: Here's the shark.
37:01
SPEAKER_03: So that's Jaws.
37:04
SPEAKER_01: That's really cool.
37:06
SPEAKER_04: All the teeth are cut up uh plastic utensils.
37:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh.
37:11
SPEAKER_04: And hot glued on.
37:13
SPEAKER_04: And this was basically a box that something oh, a two puppets came in.
37:18
SPEAKER_04: And I said, you know what?
37:19
SPEAKER_04: That box is perfect because I had already made the T-Rex.
37:21
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I'm like, I don't wanna the jaws can't be that big.
37:25
SPEAKER_04: Like everything can't be jacked because our space here is limited.
37:28
SPEAKER_04: And since we've discovered green screen, it opened up our as long as we stay within the screen, we can make big and as big and as small as we want.
37:39
SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
37:40
SPEAKER_04: Because we were we were struggling working on unlimited real estate on a TV that's back here, and we don't have very high ceilings here.
37:47
SPEAKER_04: So it was always like a struggle on not to get don't get your heads in the shot, you know, or to go this way.
37:54
SPEAKER_04: Oh, it got cut off.
37:55
SPEAKER_04: So we moved the green screen to a bigger spot.
37:59
SPEAKER_04: And uh weaker work, a bigger art, and that's so we were able to do jaws.
38:04
SPEAKER_07: So yeah, I foresee in their future eventually they're going to be able to have a studio uh just for this.
38:12
SPEAKER_07: They're gonna be there's gonna be a handful of museums.
38:16
SPEAKER_06: That's bro! Talking about everything, everything that we talk about.
38:20
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's why.
38:24
SPEAKER_07: I I'm excited.
38:25
SPEAKER_07: I I don't I might be just as excited for to see where this goes than you guys are.
38:30
SPEAKER_07: Like I'm geek.
38:32
SPEAKER_04: Thank you so much.
38:33
SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
38:34
SPEAKER_07: So sorry, Lisa, I'm more excited about theirs than ours at the moment.
38:37
SPEAKER_04: Oh, no, it's okay.
38:39
SPEAKER_04: Typical it's okay.
38:40
SPEAKER_04: Listen, and and you know, we're not we're not greedy in any respect.
38:44
SPEAKER_04: And being on the serious tip, uh anybody that's that that is really cared about what we do, like you guys and certain family, uh zero problems reposting.
38:54
SPEAKER_04: We can have 10 flour followers or 10 million followers, and we will repost your shit every time.
38:58
SPEAKER_04: That's 100% a problem.
38:59
SPEAKER_00: And you guys do, and it always makes us happy.
39:02
SPEAKER_00: Like we we always appreciate you know the interactions.
39:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I know that I'm not on socials as much as I should be because yeah, we'll see.
39:11
SPEAKER_00: I'm a little loud socials.
39:14
SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
39:14
SPEAKER_04: That's okay.
39:15
SPEAKER_04: More or less sipping for socials that we have.
39:23
SPEAKER_00: But I always try to do that same thing.
39:25
SPEAKER_00: Like when I, you know, see friends and and you know, accounts that also support us.
39:30
SPEAKER_00: I always try to make sure that I'm you know giving it back and paying it forward.
39:35
SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, what else is there, right?
39:38
SPEAKER_04: No man is an island or woman, no person is an island.
39:41
SPEAKER_04: So, and and honestly, look, the last little glow up that our page got, we were at what 9k?
39:48
SPEAKER_04: Or 10?
39:49
SPEAKER_04: We were like at 10.
39:50
SPEAKER_05: Which one?
39:50
SPEAKER_04: Before Jay and Silent Bob posted?
39:52
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
39:53
SPEAKER_06: Right?
39:53
SPEAKER_06: So we're Jay and Silent Bob themselves reposted our video.
39:57
SPEAKER_00: That's awesome.
39:58
SPEAKER_06: That we did of their movie.
39:59
SPEAKER_06: Well, we did of their movie.
40:00
SPEAKER_04: Well, because you know, I'm I'm I'm on social media a lot, and obviously I'm in Jersey, so I get a lot of Jersey algorithms, and I've been watching Kevin Smith.
40:08
SPEAKER_04: He's very active and reposting stuff that people say about them.
40:12
SPEAKER_04: He likes it.
40:13
unknown: Okay.
40:13
SPEAKER_04: So that's I told Manny, I'm like, let's do some Jay and Silent Bob videos.
40:17
SPEAKER_04: I bet you they'll repost it.
40:19
SPEAKER_04: And fucking A.
40:20
SPEAKER_01: That was smart.
40:21
SPEAKER_04: And he has over over a million followers.
40:24
SPEAKER_04: 2.5 million.
40:25
SPEAKER_04: 2.5 million, and then Jay has a million.
40:28
SPEAKER_04: Wow.
40:28
SPEAKER_04: Then the their shop has 700,000, and they all reposted our stuff.
40:33
SPEAKER_06: And that's that's right there is when everything started like picking up.
40:36
SPEAKER_06: We were gaining thousands of followers in a day or a day and a half.
40:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it was crazy.
40:42
SPEAKER_04: Like I woke up one morning, it was so weird.
40:45
SPEAKER_04: I woke up one morning.
40:46
SPEAKER_04: I think I'm we went, I went to bed and it was like a 3,500 followers.
40:50
SPEAKER_04: Went to bed, woke up, and you know how the counter comes up?
40:54
SPEAKER_04: The follower, it was like 700 followers and like 15 comments.
40:59
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, bro, is this this can't be right, remember?
41:02
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
41:02
SPEAKER_04: I mean, this can't be right.
41:03
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it jumped.
41:04
SPEAKER_04: It like jumped and right, so and it has its plateaus.
41:06
SPEAKER_04: So right now, right?
41:10
SPEAKER_06: It slowed down around 13 because we were almost at 13th, and Instagram themselves knocked us down like 1,200 followers.
41:18
SPEAKER_06: 12,000.
41:19
SPEAKER_06: We were right we were like creeping on 12k.
41:21
SPEAKER_06: And they and they knocked us down to to uh like 1,200 followers we lost.
41:26
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, and we're like, what the hell just happened?
41:28
SPEAKER_06: So then what was the explanation they gave?
41:30
SPEAKER_04: That they their algorithm uh went through and deactivated a bunch of bot accounts.
41:39
SPEAKER_04: So so that whole day, that was a Thursday, we kept struggling, we kept hitting 12.1 and then taking away.
41:45
SPEAKER_04: 11.9, 12.1, 11.6, 12.1, 11.1.
41:50
SPEAKER_06: I think it was people and people are following and saying that it's just garbage and then leaving, but no, it was Instagram, it was bad.
41:57
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, with the bots that okay cleaning up.
41:58
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and then we kind of just we kind of accepted it, and we had just done the Jane Silent Bob, and I and I posted it that morning.
42:05
SPEAKER_04: I was kind of bummed out because we were getting the knockdown.
42:08
SPEAKER_04: And w within an hour of us posting it, he reposted it.
42:12
SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, oh, I'm like, is this the real guy?
42:14
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, oh shit, the real guy.
42:15
SPEAKER_04: You go, holy shit, he has two and a half million followers.
42:18
SPEAKER_04: I think it's the real guy.
42:19
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's the real guy, and that started picking up again.
42:21
SPEAKER_06: So and and then uh also the uh the fact that uh that they told you they told you what they did.
42:29
SPEAKER_06: They said that it was just cleanup that they'll get us back to where we were.
42:33
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
42:34
SPEAKER_06: To be patient.
42:35
SPEAKER_04: He said, if your content is good, you're gonna pick up again.
42:38
SPEAKER_04: And he was right.
42:39
SPEAKER_04: So we're at I think 13.7.
42:42
SPEAKER_04: Not that we don't check a lot, maybe like once a month.
42:45
SPEAKER_05: Maybe every five once every five minute time.
42:51
SPEAKER_04: Your notifications keep going off.
42:54
SPEAKER_04: Don't get hung up on the details.
42:56
SPEAKER_07: Honestly, all joking aside, it's really about your content.
43:00
SPEAKER_07: You focus on your content and you love what you do, which you guys obviously do.
43:04
SPEAKER_07: Everything falls into place.
43:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's obvious that you guys are putting a shit ton of work.
43:09
SPEAKER_00: Ton of work.
43:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, blood, sweat, and tears.
43:12
SPEAKER_06: That's all we talk about now.
43:14
SPEAKER_06: When we get on the phone, it's not, you know, hey, what'd you do yesterday?
43:17
SPEAKER_06: We know what you did, we know what we're doing.
43:20
SPEAKER_06: We're having work right.
43:21
SPEAKER_06: So it's constant work, constant work.
43:23
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so we just so like we just got together on Saturday.
43:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
43:27
SPEAKER_07: But because you try to record Saturday with us.
43:29
SPEAKER_07: I'm like, ah, dude.
43:30
SPEAKER_07: Right.
43:30
SPEAKER_06: We got together on Saturday and we banged out the draw scene.
43:34
SPEAKER_06: That's right.
43:35
SPEAKER_06: We we were wondering if it if once you said that's Monday, we're like, oh, we got time.
43:39
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
43:40
SPEAKER_04: Oh, and you know how you know how you know that we love what we do, where we will seek each other out to make time to do it.
43:48
SPEAKER_04: So, like, so Manny, he called me, he's like, Hey, I'm off today.
43:50
SPEAKER_04: You want me to come by?
43:51
SPEAKER_04: We'll do a little bit of Spider-Man.
43:53
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, fuck yeah, man, let's do it.
43:54
SPEAKER_07: Because I feel like um doing two boats a joke because I understand your schedule.
44:00
SPEAKER_07: And it was just like, whenever we can get together, let's just knock them out.
44:03
SPEAKER_07: Like we can do it.
44:04
SPEAKER_07: It was kind of like you're working around your schedule.
44:06
SPEAKER_07: Now it's just like I'm not working, bet.
44:09
SPEAKER_07: I'm hitting jerseys.
44:10
SPEAKER_04: Let's do it.
44:10
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's a totally different vibe.
44:12
SPEAKER_04: It's a totally different vibe.
44:14
SPEAKER_04: So, I mean, uh listen, we all have hopes and dreams, right?
44:18
SPEAKER_04: Look, if we stay at 13,000 followers, I'm still gonna do this.
44:23
SPEAKER_04: I think that that fills up almost Manus.
44:25
SPEAKER_04: Square Garden, that's a lot of people that are watching on the card.
44:30
SPEAKER_07: You guys are doing pretty damn good.
44:31
SPEAKER_07: Nothing to do with that.
44:33
SPEAKER_04: So we'll see.
44:34
SPEAKER_04: We'll keep we'll keep growing.
44:35
SPEAKER_04: We'll keep hitting those that Gen X guitar string.
44:40
SPEAKER_04: That's I think that's where it's at.
44:42
SPEAKER_04: So uh any suggestions on a Halloween clip?
44:48
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
44:49
SPEAKER_00: Oh I mean, there's so many iconic Well you think I'll give you an idea.
44:55
SPEAKER_04: I I'll give you tell you why I asked that.
44:57
SPEAKER_04: We're talking about maybe doing a like an Oscar type uh show with the puppets, right?
45:08
SPEAKER_04: Because our because our puppets, since they're it's not one puppet, one puppets like they're like actors, one puppet plays several roles, and then that's always been you know the idea, yeah.
45:18
SPEAKER_04: Not to lock one puppet into something, which is why we the same puppet for some scenes.
45:23
SPEAKER_04: We'll throw in different puppets that have been funny in other scenes, just to kind of tie it all together.
45:28
SPEAKER_04: So we're gonna do maybe like a five-minute, six-minute Oscar.
45:33
SPEAKER_07: That's gonna take you like two days to do.
45:35
SPEAKER_04: No, no, no, no, no.
45:36
SPEAKER_04: I'm saying we'll we can prep for it.
45:38
SPEAKER_04: We we prep for it.
45:39
SPEAKER_04: So just record like just recording, it's just some no, but the thought the thought is to put it out there and have the followers vote.
45:49
SPEAKER_04: So we'll put out and say for the best watchful videos and fellows who did right for best actors.
45:57
SPEAKER_04: These are our nominations for best supporting actor for these three clips, and then and then we'll do the live I'm down, we'll do a scene.
46:06
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm down.
46:07
SPEAKER_04: No, but I mean we'll use the scenes that were already recorded as that to get it.
46:11
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, watch it.
46:12
SPEAKER_06: But what I'm saying, we're gonna record the actual show with puppets going up to accept the the accepted the awards.
46:20
SPEAKER_07: I can't wait to put my vote in.
46:21
SPEAKER_04: So let's say, for example, all three puppets that are nominated are we're gonna record accepting the award.
46:27
SPEAKER_07: Right.
46:29
SPEAKER_04: The one that wins is the one who'll be in the video, right?
46:32
SPEAKER_06: Oh my god.
46:33
SPEAKER_06: And that that also gets that also gets the the fans realizing that each of these puppets has their own identity.
46:40
SPEAKER_06: Like, for instance, Tommy is my favorite.
46:42
SPEAKER_06: Tommy's the green one, the one that's playing the blue one playing the Joker.
46:46
SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
46:47
SPEAKER_06: He's been in a lot of things.
46:48
SPEAKER_06: He played, he was in uh Dumb and Dumber.
46:51
SPEAKER_06: Well, his name is Tommy because he was Good Failers was Goodfellas.
46:55
SPEAKER_04: He played Tommy.
46:55
SPEAKER_04: He played Tommy.
46:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
46:57
SPEAKER_06: So we call him Tommy.
46:58
SPEAKER_06: So that that's a good way to because, like I said, Sesame Street had Big Bird, had only that.
47:04
SPEAKER_06: I was always partial to Ernie.
47:07
SPEAKER_04: Right.
47:07
SPEAKER_04: So, like in the Muppets, like the Muppet movies, it's still Kermit the Frog.
47:11
SPEAKER_04: Right.
47:12
SPEAKER_04: But in the movie, he's even though he's being a detective, he's still Kermit the detective.
47:16
SPEAKER_04: Our puppet is not that.
47:18
SPEAKER_04: Right.
47:19
SPEAKER_04: He's given a role.
47:20
SPEAKER_07: He's your puppet is an actor playing all these characters.
47:27
SPEAKER_07: So Tommy plays Billy Bob Bob, and whatever.
47:32
SPEAKER_07: I can't think.
47:33
SPEAKER_07: I'm just so I'm so excited.
47:34
SPEAKER_07: I can't put voice together.
47:35
SPEAKER_04: And by proxy, it scratches that itch that we've always had about being in movies.
47:40
SPEAKER_04: Really?
47:41
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because we're in the movie.
47:44
SPEAKER_04: We're recreating our.
47:45
SPEAKER_07: No, but you had an itch to be in the movie?
47:47
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I've been in a couple movies.
47:49
SPEAKER_06: He's been in a lot of movies.
47:50
SPEAKER_06: I've been in movies that I've been kind of cut off.
47:53
SPEAKER_06: But yeah, he's been in movies.
47:54
SPEAKER_04: I've been in a couple more.
47:55
SPEAKER_04: I've been in some uh um there's a movie coming out soon that he's I saw the clip.
48:00
SPEAKER_07: I I saw the the trailer.
48:01
SPEAKER_04: That's my biggest role so far.
48:02
SPEAKER_04: Next to it, there's a horror flick that that I'm in too called The Tannery, and it's based in the 20s, and I play a uh a leather person in the 20s, and nobody, it's a horror flick, and nobody knows that all this leather that we're all making is made out of human skin.
48:21
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's pretty cool.
48:22
SPEAKER_04: That was the most intricate production that I've been.
48:24
SPEAKER_04: That looked like they spent money doing.
48:26
SPEAKER_04: But I've been in I've been in a couple movies.
48:28
SPEAKER_04: I've been not know that.
48:29
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's the the uh uh dope king.
48:34
SPEAKER_04: I have speaking roles and I'm a bodyguard of one of the main characters.
48:38
SPEAKER_00: That was something I always wanted to do, also.
48:42
SPEAKER_00: But you know, real life.
48:44
SPEAKER_04: It's so tough to live.
48:45
SPEAKER_04: Those people that really make it, yeah, God bless, they deserve it because they have to eat ramen noodles and eat chick.
48:50
SPEAKER_04: Because people you can live off of that.
48:52
SPEAKER_00: I was I was in an episode of uh fringe.
48:55
SPEAKER_00: That was it.
48:57
SPEAKER_04: That's one of my favorite.
48:59
SPEAKER_00: I was about uh well, because I went to Brooklyn College and they used to film at Brooklyn College.
49:03
SPEAKER_00: So I I got in as an extra.
49:05
SPEAKER_04: Oh, right.
49:06
SPEAKER_04: That was the lab, the doctor's lab, Dr.
49:08
SPEAKER_04: Bishop's lab was in that.
49:09
SPEAKER_04: No, I looked at it.
49:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I I know exactly where that room is.
49:13
SPEAKER_00: I because you we used to walk through it because of the the way the class was set up in the hallway.
49:19
SPEAKER_00: So you used to walk through it all and they're like, you cannot keep walking through this classroom.
49:24
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you have to go around.
49:26
SPEAKER_04: Do they actually have a cow in the classroom when they shot?
49:29
SPEAKER_04: Because you always kept his a pet cow.
49:31
SPEAKER_00: I've never seen a cow, so I can't I can't comment on that.
49:35
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I know what classroom they used.
49:38
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, and you had like stepped down into it.
49:40
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I've had classes in that classroom.
49:42
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that show's amazing.
49:43
SPEAKER_04: I love that show.
49:44
SPEAKER_04: Fringe is cool.
49:45
SPEAKER_04: So uh uh I'm in uh succession.
49:49
SPEAKER_04: Oh play a news reporter in one of the in the last season of Succession, episode two.
49:55
SPEAKER_00: I think a friend of mine was also in that.
49:56
SPEAKER_00: His name is Dan.
49:59
SPEAKER_04: But I don't know the extras.
50:01
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but I got to meet the whole the whole cast, which was amazing.
50:04
SPEAKER_04: I was I mean, I was in the shop with the whole cast.
50:07
SPEAKER_04: I was in uh what is it?
50:08
SPEAKER_04: Um like the police stuff.
50:11
SPEAKER_04: Law and order.
50:12
SPEAKER_04: Law and order.
50:13
SPEAKER_00: I would die happy if I if if I could be at an episode of Law and Order, I could die.
50:17
SPEAKER_04: My first thing, because remember, two broke to joke.
50:20
SPEAKER_04: I didn't we were looking to lose our house.
50:21
SPEAKER_04: I was trying everything.
50:22
SPEAKER_04: We I was door dashing also at the time.
50:24
SPEAKER_04: I was door dashing.
50:26
SPEAKER_04: I started applying for roles in acting, I was uh doing lawns, fixing cars, I was doing everything.
50:32
SPEAKER_04: So I would I would spend all day at a shoot and and then and then come home and have to do all kinds of silly other shit just to fucking make ends meet.
50:41
SPEAKER_04: So that's how I got into it.
50:42
SPEAKER_04: And the the the dope kick role, I got just as a fluke, I applied to it.
50:47
SPEAKER_04: I never got a response back.
50:49
SPEAKER_04: And the day before the shoot, like at 9 p.m., I get a call.
50:53
SPEAKER_04: Hey, are you still available?
50:55
SPEAKER_04: Hey, my name's so-and-so.
50:56
SPEAKER_04: Are you still available for that shoot?
50:57
SPEAKER_04: He's like, We got a guy that just dropped down, and we need somebody, a Spanish guy that's kind of bigger to look like a bodyguard.
51:03
SPEAKER_04: He's like, You're gonna be in the driver, like a driver.
51:05
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, dude, I'm not built at all.
51:07
SPEAKER_04: No, it's you look fine.
51:08
SPEAKER_04: I see the pictures.
51:08
SPEAKER_04: Can you make it tomorrow?
51:09
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, sure.
51:11
SPEAKER_04: He's like, You have a black suit, right?
51:12
SPEAKER_04: I go, Yeah.
51:15
SPEAKER_00: We always say yes.
51:16
SPEAKER_00: You always gotta say yes.
51:17
SPEAKER_00: Always say yes.
51:18
SPEAKER_04: So I went, I went that morning and I bought a black suit and a white shirt, but black everything, black shirt, everything.
51:24
SPEAKER_04: And we started shooting that night.
51:25
SPEAKER_04: I showed up like at seven, we all sat around.
51:28
SPEAKER_04: The shoot started at 10 o'clock.
51:29
SPEAKER_04: I got home like at three in the morning.
51:31
SPEAKER_04: And uh the guy, he's like, he's like, uh, you available for the next nine weeks?
51:36
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, sure.
51:37
SPEAKER_04: So and then uh three days into it, he's like, Oh, uh, he's like, I was waiting to do this a background shot.
51:45
SPEAKER_04: And he's like, hey, uh you know how to read?
51:46
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, Yeah.
51:48
SPEAKER_04: He goes, You have a driver's license?
51:50
SPEAKER_04: I go, yeah.
51:50
SPEAKER_04: He goes, he gives me a script.
51:51
SPEAKER_04: He goes, I need you to memorize this.
51:53
SPEAKER_04: You have 45 minutes.
51:54
SPEAKER_04: You're gonna be driving in talking to the main character.
51:57
SPEAKER_04: Yo, that it was the quickest memorizing session.
52:01
SPEAKER_04: So basically, what I was doing was I was texting myself the lines.
52:06
SPEAKER_04: So I would read the line, remember it, and then text it to myself.
52:08
SPEAKER_04: Okay, and that's how I remembered it.
52:10
SPEAKER_04: And that's how you golly, we did it fucking one shot every angle.
52:14
SPEAKER_04: We had three angles and we did a one shot.
52:16
SPEAKER_04: And he looked at me, he goes, You've never done this before.
52:20
SPEAKER_04: I go, nah, dude.
52:21
SPEAKER_04: Like he goes, I'm good at bullshitting if that counts.
52:25
SPEAKER_07: And it does.
52:25
SPEAKER_07: And you remember Debbie?
52:28
SPEAKER_07: She was a line director back in the day.
52:31
SPEAKER_07: Blonde.
52:32
SPEAKER_06: Debbie, the one that she was also a lifter, right?
52:35
SPEAKER_06: She was strong.
52:36
SPEAKER_06: Is that her?
52:36
SPEAKER_06: Is that the one you're talking about?
52:37
SPEAKER_07: Did she do lifting?
52:38
SPEAKER_07: I don't think she did lifting.
52:40
SPEAKER_06: Little blonde chick.
52:41
SPEAKER_06: Yes, no, maybe maybe the wrong person.
52:43
SPEAKER_07: Are you doing the wrong?
52:44
SPEAKER_07: You know, she's a casting director.
52:45
SPEAKER_06: Get out.
52:46
SPEAKER_07: You know, the why can't I remember the name of this fucking movie?
52:49
SPEAKER_07: She did the one with the pirates.
52:52
SPEAKER_06: Pirates of the Caribbean?
52:53
SPEAKER_06: No, the one with like Captain, the Captain one?
52:56
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, right now.
52:58
SPEAKER_07: She did she cast she did the casting for that.
53:00
SPEAKER_07: For what?
53:01
SPEAKER_07: For uh Captain Philip, is it?
53:04
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, Captain Phillip.
53:05
SPEAKER_07: I'm the captain now.
53:06
SPEAKER_07: Fuck off! We did a clip of that.
53:08
SPEAKER_07: Did you know that?
53:09
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we didn't.
53:10
SPEAKER_06: We did a clip of it.
53:11
SPEAKER_07: So you know, well, I will yeah, Debbie.
53:13
SPEAKER_07: We used to work with a casting director.
53:15
SPEAKER_07: She's a she's currently she goes to all the coppets.
53:18
SPEAKER_07: She's yeah, she's Wow.
53:19
SPEAKER_07: I don't even remember Debbie Delisi.
53:22
SPEAKER_04: We did, I'm the captain now.
53:24
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
53:24
SPEAKER_06: We did we did a video with the puppets of it.
53:27
SPEAKER_06: So you know what?
53:27
SPEAKER_06: I'm the captain now.
53:29
SPEAKER_07: So yeah, you need to um yeah, share her uh find her page.
53:32
SPEAKER_07: So, you know, see you guys into the movies.
53:35
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that'd be awesome.
53:36
SPEAKER_04: Thank you so much.
53:37
SPEAKER_06: We appreciate that.
53:38
SPEAKER_06: You have her on Instagram?
53:39
SPEAKER_07: Instagram, Facebook, yeah.
53:41
SPEAKER_06: Text text her Instagram and we'll send her.
53:44
SPEAKER_06: Uh we'll send her the link to the video.
53:45
SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna share her.
53:47
SPEAKER_07: I wanna share her pages with you guys onto the yeah, yeah.
53:52
SPEAKER_06: That'd be awesome.
53:53
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that would be awesome.
53:55
SPEAKER_06: But yeah, I mean, the goal, you said uh a studio, a museum.
53:59
SPEAKER_06: My long time goal, my dreamy goal is to to have Netflix pick us up.
54:07
SPEAKER_04: And you know, Netflix Netflix is opening a giant studio, literally 20 minutes from my house.
54:12
SPEAKER_07: And so what are we doing about what are we doing to get into that?
54:16
SPEAKER_07: What are you guys doing?
54:17
SPEAKER_07: How are you guys networking?
54:18
SPEAKER_07: Are you like sitting outside?
54:20
SPEAKER_06: Like I said, it's a dreamy goal.
54:21
SPEAKER_06: That's all we're gonna do.
54:23
SPEAKER_06: We're not there yet.
54:23
SPEAKER_06: We're not there.
54:24
SPEAKER_06: We're still trying to build this.
54:26
SPEAKER_06: No, what the way to do it that would be my ultimate.
54:28
SPEAKER_06: I'm so excited for you guys.
54:29
SPEAKER_06: That would be my ultimate.
54:30
SPEAKER_04: If what we're doing is as good a quality as we believe it is, and the magic is there like we believe it is, eventually the right person will see it.
54:39
SPEAKER_04: I'm so excited for you guys.
54:41
SPEAKER_04: And that's kind of where I'm at.
54:42
SPEAKER_04: I love what I love doing it, and if we never get past this, it's it I love doing it.
54:48
SPEAKER_04: I think I love the feeling that I get when I watch it.
54:50
SPEAKER_04: I love how we're able to convey emotions with these puppets without facial expressions.
54:56
SPEAKER_04: Like you have to figure out clever ways of expressing an emotion with something that doesn't have facial expressions.
55:04
SPEAKER_04: So, like it's become almost like an art form of how we'll retake that.
55:11
SPEAKER_04: All right, we'll do it again.
55:12
SPEAKER_06: All right, what if I move my head this way?
55:14
SPEAKER_06: Puppeteer, he does all the puppets.
55:16
SPEAKER_06: All I do, I pretty much direct.
55:18
SPEAKER_06: He's the cinematographer.
55:20
SPEAKER_06: I pretty much direct.
55:21
SPEAKER_06: I tell you, I thought no move over, move, move over right here and get the perfect angles to match the movie.
55:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, because I want to get it as a move me like, no, no, like this.
55:31
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
55:31
SPEAKER_04: Here's where I need you.
55:34
SPEAKER_04: Fine, and that's fine because I'm so enveloped in the performance of the puppet that when I know it's good, I'm not even looking at the puppet.
55:42
SPEAKER_04: I feel it.
55:43
SPEAKER_07: You become the puppet in my stupid puppet.
55:46
SPEAKER_07: No, no, it's not stupid at all.
55:48
SPEAKER_07: But no, you become the puppet.
55:50
SPEAKER_07: You become one with the puppet.
55:58
SPEAKER_04: I'm still working.
56:00
SPEAKER_04: It's not that I'm not paying attention or chatting.
56:02
SPEAKER_04: It's um I have a flight that I'm trying to confirm.
56:04
SPEAKER_07: No, confirm that flight.
56:06
SPEAKER_07: I know.
56:06
SPEAKER_07: Because I didn't find I only feel comfortable with you guys because I'm over here taking notes and all this stuff.
56:12
SPEAKER_07: I don't want to forget anything.
56:13
SPEAKER_07: I'm like, oh, this is many no more.
56:14
SPEAKER_07: They don't mind because you know, I could just sit over here.
56:17
SPEAKER_04: You're taking notes now?
56:18
SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
56:18
SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
56:18
SPEAKER_04: So I don't think it's so write this note.
56:21
SPEAKER_04: Watch all the hand fellas clips.
56:24
SPEAKER_07: Oh shit.
56:26
SPEAKER_07: Already I'm on listen, I have my TV on.
56:28
SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna set up to my YouTube, and I'm like, okay, I'm gonna just watch it on my big screen TV and become one with.
56:33
SPEAKER_07: I promise you, there's nothing there that you don't recognize.
56:36
SPEAKER_04: That's all of our clips are are clips of things that you'll recognize.
56:42
SPEAKER_06: You've watched the movie Bridesmaids?
56:44
SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
56:44
SPEAKER_06: There's a scene.
56:45
SPEAKER_06: We did a scene from Bridesmaids.
56:47
SPEAKER_07: You guys are fucking cool.
56:48
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
56:49
SPEAKER_06: We did a scene from what's the other uh movie?
56:51
SPEAKER_06: Uh the the one with uh uh uh Old School.
56:55
SPEAKER_06: Oh, devil was Double Wears Prada.
56:57
SPEAKER_04: We did Devil Wizard Prada.
56:59
SPEAKER_07: Can you do Devil's Advocate?
57:01
SPEAKER_07: Oh, well, actually, we it was there's a couple of monologues that are themazing.
57:07
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it was on the list.
57:09
SPEAKER_04: I want to do the scene where he's like I your Satan.
57:13
SPEAKER_04: I have so many names.
57:15
SPEAKER_04: I have so many names.
57:16
SPEAKER_04: That's that's right, everybody knows that's that's the scene period.
57:21
SPEAKER_04: That's the scene.
57:21
SPEAKER_04: So in Bridesmaids, we did in the beginning where the little girl goes to the jeweler to buy the chain.
57:26
SPEAKER_04: Do you really want to buy something for your best things forever?
57:29
SPEAKER_07: You know what?
57:30
SPEAKER_07: I don't remember many scenes from that movie.
57:32
SPEAKER_04: If I see it, I would know it, but I ended uh we did old school streaking.
57:38
SPEAKER_06: Streaking, the streaking video is hysterical.
57:41
SPEAKER_06: That was the first side-by-side video we did, right?
57:44
SPEAKER_06: Yes, and it was almost matching the movie.
57:48
SPEAKER_06: We've gotten way better at that, at matching the actual movie.
57:57
SPEAKER_06: Sorry.
57:57
SPEAKER_07: No, don't be sorry, because we can always edit stuff out.
58:00
SPEAKER_07: We can leave it in like this is a play hero.
58:06
SPEAKER_06: Gotta get this lung somewhere.
58:09
SPEAKER_07: So not that I didn't appreciate it before, but knowing how much work and time you guys are putting into your craft, I truly appreciate you guys making time for us.
58:22
SPEAKER_07: I just gotta throw it out there now.
58:24
SPEAKER_07: Thank you.
58:25
SPEAKER_07: No, like I said, your family.
58:29
SPEAKER_06: They love us.
58:30
SPEAKER_06: Oh, we we were looking forward to it.
58:32
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
58:32
SPEAKER_06: We were like, yo, it's I'm like, oh my god, can you tell us?
58:34
SPEAKER_06: We thought it was Saturday.
58:36
SPEAKER_06: And actually, when you said it was Monday, we were a little bit we were like disappointed.
58:39
SPEAKER_06: Oh, we can finish what we're doing.
58:42
SPEAKER_07: Like, oh, oh I had to go back and double check.
58:47
SPEAKER_07: Oh shit.
58:48
SPEAKER_07: Oh no, they said we fucked up.
58:51
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, Saturday.
58:52
SPEAKER_00: I had to power wash my yard and uh take kids to Six Flags.
58:57
SPEAKER_07: So you will I was home doing nothing.
59:01
SPEAKER_07: I was watch I was doing a jigsaw puzzle.
59:03
SPEAKER_00: I was doing manual labor.
59:05
SPEAKER_04: Ooh, we were shooting.
59:08
SPEAKER_04: What if we did a clip from a saw?
59:10
SPEAKER_04: You said jigsaw.
59:12
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you know what else I was thinking?
59:14
SPEAKER_00: What keeps coming to my head is um the call is coming from inside the house.
59:19
SPEAKER_00: Inside the house.
59:19
SPEAKER_00: When when a strange what is it?
59:21
SPEAKER_07: When a stranger calls.
59:22
SPEAKER_04: Oh, when a stranger calls, yeah.
59:27
SPEAKER_07: Or a scary movie.
59:28
SPEAKER_07: Everyone does scary movies.
59:29
SPEAKER_07: I was thinking scream.
59:31
SPEAKER_07: Scream.
59:31
SPEAKER_07: That's why I meant scream.
59:32
SPEAKER_07: I meant scream scary movie.
59:34
SPEAKER_04: The beginning would be hysterical.
59:35
SPEAKER_04: Drew Barrymore when she answers the phone.
59:37
SPEAKER_07: Right, the beginning.
59:38
SPEAKER_07: The beginning, the beginning.
59:39
SPEAKER_07: But can you imagine spoofing the spoof?
59:42
SPEAKER_07: Like you guys could spoof the spoof.
59:45
SPEAKER_07: I think that would take it to a whole new level.
59:48
SPEAKER_07: Like, I'm damn.
59:50
SPEAKER_07: Okay.
59:50
SPEAKER_07: That's so fucking excited.
59:51
SPEAKER_07: You wouldn't think.
59:52
SPEAKER_00: All I know is that when a stranger calls, but the second one, when a stranger calls back, that shit had me fucked up when I was a kid.
59:58
SPEAKER_00: When the guy comes out from the wall.
1:00:00
SPEAKER_04: So you think that's good?
1:00:01
SPEAKER_04: So you think that's good?
1:00:02
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
1:00:02
SPEAKER_00: No, I don't know if the second one is good.
1:00:04
SPEAKER_00: Well, the excess but the first one.
1:00:09
SPEAKER_03: We got that in the works.
1:00:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
1:00:12
SPEAKER_00: We're here.
1:00:12
SPEAKER_00: We're here.
1:00:13
unknown: Yeah.
1:00:14
SPEAKER_00: No, but we've started talking about XS.
1:00:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but the first one.
1:00:18
SPEAKER_00: The line is iconic.
1:00:20
SPEAKER_04: We are we already figured out how to make the head spin.
1:00:22
SPEAKER_04: How to make the head spin.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_00: We already, I'm sure you can make a head spin.
1:00:28
SPEAKER_07: I can't stand you guys.
1:00:29
SPEAKER_07: I love you guys so much.
1:00:31
SPEAKER_04: So we so so our goal is so look, uh, every time we do a clip, we realize that we incorporate everything that we've learned from all the clips before, and we take it one notch higher.
1:00:46
SPEAKER_04: One notch higher.
1:00:47
SPEAKER_04: At some point, we're gonna be limited.
1:00:50
SPEAKER_04: Because the soft the software we use, uh just hear me out.
1:00:54
SPEAKER_04: We use is very limited.
1:00:55
SPEAKER_04: The computer power we use is very limited, which I kind of love because it forces us to stay in the world of the real.
1:01:04
SPEAKER_04: Right?
1:01:04
SPEAKER_04: So, like, yeah, the backgrounds are AI.
1:01:06
SPEAKER_04: So a lot of people I was gonna say, but I had to leave.
1:01:09
SPEAKER_04: Uh, they the haters, the the way I got them all to calm down, I kept answering them.
1:01:13
SPEAKER_04: I said, yes, yes, we use AI for the backgrounds, but I promise you the hand jobs are real.
1:01:22
SPEAKER_04: I wrote it like a guy stop answering after that.
1:01:24
SPEAKER_04: Four different people.
1:01:25
SPEAKER_04: Four different people.
1:01:27
SPEAKER_04: Oh, I detect AI.
1:01:28
SPEAKER_04: Oh, yes, there's AI, but I promise you the hand jobs are real.
1:01:32
SPEAKER_04: And that's when I put out the green screen video of the work that it takes.
1:01:36
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
1:01:37
SPEAKER_04: That's yeah, I mean, that's it, it does it no justice.
1:01:40
SPEAKER_04: Like that's what I'm saying.
1:01:41
SPEAKER_04: Talk about the amount of work we put into one club, it just doesn't change.
1:01:43
SPEAKER_00: You know, it was it was fat, like I I really enjoyed watching it because it's fascinating to see how you bring them to life, but I know that there's no video that you can play for a few minutes that can convey realistically how much work was done.
1:01:59
SPEAKER_04: We have one video that we accidentally recorded, two and a half hours.
1:02:05
SPEAKER_06: Uh we have a separate camera in the background recording us doing okay, okay.
1:02:09
SPEAKER_04: And it's and it was on time lapse.
1:02:11
SPEAKER_04: And it can show you.
1:02:12
SPEAKER_04: So it so it has two and a half hours of time lapse, which it recorded probably six or seven.
1:02:18
SPEAKER_06: But everything being done, and and it's worth it's worth his word.
1:02:24
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I had we love it.
1:02:25
SPEAKER_06: I love it.
1:02:26
SPEAKER_06: I love doing it.
1:02:26
SPEAKER_06: I have fun.
1:02:27
SPEAKER_06: I mean, the main thing right now for me is that we're having fun, we're having fun doing it, and people are liking it.
1:02:33
SPEAKER_06: So do what you listen.
1:02:34
SPEAKER_04: That I know this is gonna sound cliche, but I am here as a 52-year-old person trying to just make a fucking living and not have to worry about my retirement.
1:02:44
SPEAKER_04: Is do what you love and the rest comes easy, and it's so true.
1:02:51
SPEAKER_04: It's so true.
1:02:53
SPEAKER_04: Since April, it's just been different.
1:02:55
SPEAKER_04: We've been almost on a different energy, right?
1:02:58
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
1:02:58
SPEAKER_04: A lot of things have been clicking.
1:03:00
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, now life is not perfect by any means, but when we get together to do all this work, it's like we're hanging out, it's kind of amazing.
1:03:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's really happy for you guys.
1:03:12
SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
1:03:14
SPEAKER_04: We're getting better and better.
1:03:16
SPEAKER_04: We're getting better.
1:03:17
SPEAKER_00: And and you deserve like the accolades that you get because you're putting a lot of work, the content is wonderful, and then I feel like there's a correlation between the fact that you guys are putting so much work, the fact that you are having so much fun with it, it bleeds into the audience.
1:03:39
SPEAKER_00: So we as the viewers can see that we can feel it.
1:03:43
SPEAKER_00: That this is not something that you guys are doing because you you have to, because somebody forced you to, because well, we don't have anything else to do today.
1:03:51
SPEAKER_00: It's something that you're enjoying, and it it it definitely is shown.
1:03:57
SPEAKER_06: Thank you so much.
1:03:58
SPEAKER_06: I appreciate that.
1:03:58
SPEAKER_06: We do put a lot of love into it, and and the equipment is limited, but that's why we're telling people join Patreon because that money can help us expand on our equipment and make things even.
1:04:09
SPEAKER_00: Well, listen, I mean that's you guys shows like South Park.
1:04:14
SPEAKER_04: That's I mean rudimentary.
1:04:16
SPEAKER_00: Rudimentary and it and it's you know, it's it's been on for 30 years.
1:04:21
SPEAKER_00: I mean, sometimes you might not have to expand, so so to speak.
1:04:26
SPEAKER_07: You might I maybe part of the magic is that it's grassroots, it's within the realm of the real.
1:04:34
SPEAKER_06: Right.
1:04:35
SPEAKER_01: As long as people call the magic.
1:04:37
SPEAKER_06: We almost threw a party when we w when we shot training day.
1:04:41
SPEAKER_06: The fact that the scene is shot in a car.
1:04:44
SPEAKER_06: Uh-huh.
1:04:45
SPEAKER_06: There's the background outside the windows is moving like moving.
1:04:50
SPEAKER_06: We threw a party when we figured that out.
1:04:52
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we could do that.
1:04:54
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we recorded.
1:04:55
SPEAKER_04: I went to pick them up and we took our two old phones and sucked them to the window and recorded our drive.
1:05:00
SPEAKER_06: Our drive home and then use those scenes for the back of the you guys are okay.
1:05:05
SPEAKER_06: So training day in training day, the scene training day is literally my neighborhood.
1:05:10
SPEAKER_06: You see my neighborhood, I can pick out the houses.
1:05:12
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, gorilla, gorilla shooting.
1:05:14
SPEAKER_04: That's like what Cameron used to do in the early 80s.
1:05:17
SPEAKER_07: Okay.
1:05:18
SPEAKER_07: Right.
1:05:18
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, just gorilla shooting, just make it work.
1:05:20
SPEAKER_04: I don't know, make it work.
1:05:22
SPEAKER_04: Jaws.
1:05:23
SPEAKER_04: When you see Jaws, I I never had an appreciation for Jaws until I was on editing last night.
1:05:30
SPEAKER_04: That one-minute scene of the shark eating the captain.
1:05:36
SPEAKER_04: There are over 80 shots in that one minute of the captain, of the water, of a of a close-up, of a sideways, of things falling, of him reaching out.
1:05:48
SPEAKER_04: It's all bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, like super back to back.
1:05:51
SPEAKER_04: It's not like the regular clips that we do where we're talking for a little bit and blah, blah, blah, and then we'll switch over.
1:05:55
SPEAKER_04: No, this was like action, and there's water, and there's splashes, and there's something breaking, and there's a boat sinking.
1:06:00
SPEAKER_04: And and so last night, I'm like, I'm like, holy.
1:06:04
SPEAKER_06: We took a basket of shampoos and creams and to mimic stuff falling for.
1:06:11
SPEAKER_06: And we shot it on green screen and added that to the video.
1:06:15
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
1:06:16
SPEAKER_06: You know what?
1:06:16
SPEAKER_04: Don't I'm gonna send you the I'm gonna send you guys the video.
1:06:21
SPEAKER_04: Please don't share it because that's for Patreon.
1:06:23
SPEAKER_04: For now, okay.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_04: After after the 29th, you can share it.
1:06:26
SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
1:06:27
SPEAKER_04: We probably won't share anything.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_07: I mean, like we do, we share clips like this, but yeah, don't share it at all because then it'll force them to go watch it on Instagram.
1:06:36
SPEAKER_07: No, right.
1:06:36
SPEAKER_07: You send us personally, we don't share that shit.
1:06:38
SPEAKER_07: This is like we share what we record.
1:06:42
SPEAKER_06: Maybe it's on WhatsApp right now so we can get her reaction.
1:06:47
SPEAKER_07: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:06:49
SPEAKER_00: All right.
1:06:49
SPEAKER_00: While you're sending that though, while you're sending that, I want to ask you guys my silly question because we didn't do that.
1:06:56
SPEAKER_05: Go ahead.
1:06:57
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
1:06:58
SPEAKER_00: Which one would you prefer to have no nose but have really good smelling fingers?
1:07:05
SPEAKER_00: Or to be blind but have a really nice smile?
1:07:10
SPEAKER_06: I I'd rather, if I have no nose, I'd rather have the smelling fingers because I'm an eater.
1:07:16
SPEAKER_06: I'm a foodie.
1:07:17
SPEAKER_06: So I'd be smelling.
1:07:19
SPEAKER_06: Oh Omar.
1:07:22
SPEAKER_04: Hey, the repeat the question.
1:07:25
SPEAKER_00: Which would you prefer?
1:07:26
SPEAKER_00: To have no nose but really good smelling fingers, or to be blind but have a really nice smile.
1:07:34
SPEAKER_04: I'd like a really nice smile because I've had fucked up teeth my entire life.
1:07:38
SPEAKER_04: But you're blind.
1:07:40
SPEAKER_04: You can't even see your own skin.
1:07:41
SPEAKER_00: You can't see your smell.
1:07:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you can't smell your fingers.
1:07:46
SPEAKER_06: You said I had really nice smelling fingers.
1:07:48
SPEAKER_06: Right.
1:07:50
SPEAKER_06: Oh, I thought you meant I the I can smell with my fingers.
1:07:53
SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no, no, no.
1:07:55
SPEAKER_00: You have no nose, but your fingers smell great.
1:07:59
SPEAKER_06: Okay, yeah.
1:08:00
SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
1:08:00
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I still I go with the no-nos because I like seeing.
1:08:04
SPEAKER_06: Okay, yeah.
1:08:05
SPEAKER_06: I think I can't watch my videos if I can't see.
1:08:07
SPEAKER_06: I agree.
1:08:08
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
1:08:09
SPEAKER_00: You can't watch an pellets if you can't see.
1:08:11
SPEAKER_06: And if they stink, I won't know because I have no nose.
1:08:15
SPEAKER_00: You don't care.
1:08:17
SPEAKER_00: It is a funny.
1:08:19
SPEAKER_00: How do my fingers smell?
1:08:23
SPEAKER_01: And it's funny.
1:08:24
SPEAKER_01: Vapor.
1:08:25
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's then of a puppet's ass.
1:08:27
SPEAKER_07: So what does a puppet's ass smell like?
1:08:32
SPEAKER_07: No.
1:08:32
SPEAKER_07: But it's funny that you picked a smelling question because I quite randomly picked a smelling question, also.
1:08:38
SPEAKER_05: Oh god.
1:08:39
SPEAKER_07: Somebody smelled we are just want to be here.
1:08:43
SPEAKER_07: We just share a brain, so there's that.
1:08:47
SPEAKER_07: That's true.
1:08:48
SPEAKER_07: We share a brain.
1:08:51
SPEAKER_07: I can tell.
1:08:51
SPEAKER_07: I can tell.
1:08:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:08:54
SPEAKER_07: What is one thing that you keep wanting to smell, despite the fact that it doesn't it does not smell particularly good?
1:09:03
SPEAKER_05: Gasoline.
1:09:06
unknown: It does.
1:09:06
SPEAKER_06: I don't know why.
1:09:07
SPEAKER_06: I want to smell gas.
1:09:08
SPEAKER_06: Sometimes it gives me a headache, but sometimes it's like.
1:09:12
SPEAKER_04: Are you at the gas station that smell?
1:09:15
SPEAKER_04: I know a smell.
1:09:16
SPEAKER_04: And it's a smell I've never forgotten since I lived in New York City.
1:09:19
SPEAKER_04: It's the smell of when you walk over the subway station grates in the city.
1:09:25
SPEAKER_07: Like that hot garbage smell?
1:09:27
SPEAKER_07: It's not a garbage smell.
1:09:28
SPEAKER_04: It is like an electrical humid smell that comes off the track.
1:09:32
SPEAKER_04: That smell.
1:09:32
SPEAKER_07: Oh, okay.
1:09:33
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
1:09:35
SPEAKER_04: I will forever, that will always be one of my favorite.
1:09:37
SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
1:09:39
SPEAKER_00: I thought you were just gonna say like summer in New York City.
1:09:43
SPEAKER_06: Oh, summer doing it.
1:09:45
SPEAKER_06: Combination of like all of the phones become very prominent in the summertime.
1:09:50
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
1:09:51
SPEAKER_06: So that's true because it's hot.
1:09:56
SPEAKER_06: Dog poop, you smell it even more in the summer, the hot summer.
1:09:59
SPEAKER_06: Everything.
1:10:00
SPEAKER_00: Right.
1:10:00
SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's like dreams, garbage, and piss.
1:10:06
SPEAKER_00: Dreams is this.
1:10:09
SPEAKER_06: I told him that's that's the MTA uh elevators.
1:10:13
SPEAKER_04: I remember I walked into Gabby's room to Gabby's room one day, and he had left like food under the toe.
1:10:21
SPEAKER_04: I was just nasty.
1:10:22
SPEAKER_04: I said, Gab, clean your room right now.
1:10:25
SPEAKER_04: And he goes, What?
1:10:26
SPEAKER_04: I go, Gab, it smells like two hobos fucking in a box full of piss.
1:10:30
SPEAKER_04: Go right now.
1:10:34
SPEAKER_06: I'd have been like, how do you know?
1:10:41
SPEAKER_06: How do you know?
1:10:42
SPEAKER_06: I was homeless once.
1:10:44
SPEAKER_06: Don't ask any questions.
1:10:44
SPEAKER_06: Clean your room.
1:10:49
SPEAKER_04: Oh, all right.
1:10:50
SPEAKER_04: Well, I'm sorry, I have to jump off.
1:10:52
SPEAKER_07: No, that's okay.
1:10:53
SPEAKER_07: That's wrap up.
1:10:54
SPEAKER_07: Let's wrap up.
1:10:55
SPEAKER_07: Do you need to jump off now?
1:10:57
SPEAKER_07: No, no, no.
1:10:58
SPEAKER_04: I have a minute.
1:10:58
SPEAKER_07: I'm talking something.
1:11:00
SPEAKER_07: So, Lisa.
1:11:02
SPEAKER_00: So tell everyone where they can find you guys, Tanfellas, Two Broke, everything.
1:11:07
SPEAKER_00: Everything and everything.
1:11:08
SPEAKER_06: All right.
1:11:09
SPEAKER_06: So uh go ahead.
1:11:10
SPEAKER_06: Give them the Too Broke to Joke.
1:11:12
SPEAKER_06: Uh, Two Broke to Joke is on TikTok, is our biggest account.
1:11:15
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
1:11:16
SPEAKER_06: We are on YouTube and we are on uh on Spotify as well.
1:11:21
SPEAKER_06: But TikTok for some reason blew up more than anything.
1:11:24
SPEAKER_06: But we're we're on all platforms, basically, for Too Broke to Joke.
1:11:30
SPEAKER_04: Yes, correct.
1:11:31
SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
1:11:32
SPEAKER_04: Handfellas?
1:11:33
SPEAKER_04: Handfellas, uh, our main page is on Instagram.
1:11:36
SPEAKER_04: Uh it's just at handfellas, H-A-N-D-F-E-L-L-A-S.
1:11:41
SPEAKER_04: All together.
1:11:42
SPEAKER_04: All together.
1:11:42
SPEAKER_04: Just how it says.
1:11:43
SPEAKER_04: Uh, we also have a channel on YouTube, which is pretty uh we really don't pay attention to it, but we put everything up there.
1:11:49
SPEAKER_04: Just YouTube is very restrictive on what we can put as far as movie sounds.
1:11:54
SPEAKER_04: Um where Instagram and Facebook are a little bit more forgiving, which is great for us.
1:11:59
SPEAKER_04: Uh TikTok is also very restrictive.
1:12:02
SPEAKER_04: They're very uh like we couldn't put all of pulp fiction where I had to just replace with music and tell people to go to Instagram, but we still have it just cuz.
1:12:10
SPEAKER_04: But our home is Instagram, and uh our Patreon home is also at handfellows.
1:12:15
SPEAKER_04: So if uh you want to come and check out uncensored stuff, stuff with all the curses in it, uh, some original stuff like uh we worked on uh in waterboarding a puppet while we were watching it.
1:12:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, don't forget to send the thing I never thought I'd be talking about waterboarding a puppet, waterboarding a puppet, and uh like most of our side-by-side comparisons for so people can see the side by side and uh exclusive stuff like pre-publishing.
1:12:46
SPEAKER_04: So if you're a part of our Patreon, which is uh we call it uh the seamy side, is what we call it, and then within the seamy side, we're gonna have like real adult stuff going on, we're gonna call that triple stitch.
1:13:02
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, is it kind of like cinemax at the dog?
1:13:05
SPEAKER_07: Like oh my god, you just gave me an idea.
1:13:09
SPEAKER_04: We're gonna do a puppet porn, but hear me out.
1:13:13
SPEAKER_04: Hear me out, hear me out.
1:13:15
SPEAKER_04: You're already sodomizing the poor guys.
1:13:17
SPEAKER_04: Hear me out.
1:13:18
SPEAKER_04: You're not you're not gonna see anything, you're gonna see just the the the the lines, like the bad reception lines.
1:13:26
SPEAKER_04: Oh, what like when we were kids and we didn't have Playboy and we had to switch the panel back and forth to get a clip?
1:13:33
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you can have it.
1:13:34
SPEAKER_07: I'm glad I gave you that idea.
1:13:35
SPEAKER_07: You're welcome.
1:13:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, thank you.
1:13:38
SPEAKER_07: Yeah, just give me some love, like you know.
1:13:41
SPEAKER_04: And once in a while, when it pauses, it'll just be uh did you order some pizza and then like that's yeah.
1:13:50
SPEAKER_06: No, no, no, you hear that.
1:13:52
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, who is it?
1:13:53
SPEAKER_06: Pizza de la Rita, and you hear pam chicken pam, pam.
1:13:58
SPEAKER_06: I think you need a massage, but uh I ordered a pizza without sausage.
1:14:05
SPEAKER_06: Sorry, you're gonna have sauce.
1:14:07
SPEAKER_05: Oh my goodness, cute.
1:14:11
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
1:14:15
SPEAKER_03: What happened?
1:14:16
SPEAKER_03: There's a problem.
1:14:17
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:14:17
SPEAKER_03: It's uh 1030, 1030 cafe.
1:14:21
SPEAKER_04: So all right, so oh yeah, so our Patreon, hand fellows.
1:14:26
SPEAKER_06: Uh that's very important.
1:14:28
SPEAKER_06: No, we want we want somebody with a Patreon because if we can make money, we can get better software and more capability going bigger things and these puppets, these puppets are expensive.
1:14:37
SPEAKER_04: So if you notice that we don't use modern puppets, we use vintage 70s puppets because of Sesame Street.
1:14:44
SPEAKER_04: That's it's gotta have that feel.
1:14:46
SPEAKER_04: So every puppet that we use is literally a 1970s vintage puppet.
1:14:51
SPEAKER_04: It's gotten to the point where I've had to source out doubles because we're using some of the main ones so much, and we use fabric tape, we rip it off.
1:15:01
SPEAKER_04: It eventually we're gonna need replacement, so we have waterboard um.
1:15:07
SPEAKER_06: We really did.
1:15:08
SPEAKER_06: We're gonna send you that video too.
1:15:10
SPEAKER_00: Puppet snuff film over here.
1:15:12
SPEAKER_06: I know we're gonna send you that video as well.
1:15:15
SPEAKER_06: The waterboarding that was funny.
1:15:18
SPEAKER_00: All right, guys, thank you again.
1:15:21
SPEAKER_04: Thank you, guys.
1:15:23
SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
1:15:24
SPEAKER_00: This is great, and we hope that everyone goes and checks out Manny and Omar to Broke to Joe, Cantfellas, and their Patreon so that they can continue putting out stuff.
1:15:35
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, not only continue, but raise the bar.
1:15:38
SPEAKER_04: Like so many people want to see, like, uh so my dream my dream is to is to make an entire movie.
1:15:45
SPEAKER_06: So, like, we already started like storyboarding it.
1:15:49
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so make like an original movie.
1:15:51
SPEAKER_04: Okay, and a well, I also want to do like, for example, uh Jurassic Park.
1:15:58
SPEAKER_04: I want to do enough clips with Jurassic Park that I'd be able to put it together almost like a comic book where it's just the main scenes when they first arrive, when they first see a dinosaur, which we already did, when they get chased by the T-Rex, when they get chased by the Velociraptor and the end, you know, when they almost get eaten.
1:16:18
SPEAKER_04: Like that's I wanna do that.
1:16:19
SPEAKER_04: I wanna do that.
1:16:20
SPEAKER_04: But in original movies, it it's gonna be the pain.
1:16:24
SPEAKER_04: We've already we've already talked about we actually came up with a character today for the movie.
1:16:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
1:16:28
SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be fun.
1:16:30
SPEAKER_04: It's gonna, there's gonna be lots of fun.
1:16:32
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it sounds like it.
1:16:33
