- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on the batter's text.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Did you know your blessing is already ready, that is
- 0:07Speaker 2: already in place, that God in fixing it up right now,
- 0:11Speaker 2: it's already done. That the work doesn't have to be
- 0:15Speaker 2: applied to where you're going. The work has to be
- 0:18Speaker 2: applied to you so that when you get where you're going,
- 0:22Speaker 2: you can handle what you gotta handle. That's Oh God
- 0:26Speaker 2: helping me. Preach the steps, the steps, the steps, Touch
- 0:30Speaker 2: three people and say the steps, the steps, the steps,
- 0:34Speaker 2: this st pot greeting to the name of Jesus Christ,
- 0:43Speaker 2: our King. I am so blessed to have the opportunity
- 0:45Speaker 2: to share the word of the Lord with you. The
- 0:48Speaker 2: message that I'm going to share with you today I
- 0:50Speaker 2: believe will strengthen you, fortify you, bless you, even help
- 0:53Speaker 2: your friends.
- 0:54Speaker 3: You on a call text, tell.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Everybody he's on Get ready for this word. The message
- 0:59Speaker 2: is stay on track, say neighbor, God said, stay on track. Debate,
- 1:17Speaker 2: don't procrastinate, don't become frustrated. All you have to do
- 1:24Speaker 2: to win this battle is stay on track. There are
- 1:30Speaker 2: moments that try the human soul so violently and so
- 1:37Speaker 2: perplexing that if the truth were told all of us
- 1:42Speaker 2: have had moments that we wanted to throw up our
- 1:45Speaker 2: hands and walk away. Discouragement can creep in secretly, hide
- 1:58Speaker 2: behind clothes, make up, hairdoes. Discouragement is so bold that
- 2:08Speaker 2: it will even hide behind a smile. It will always
- 2:15Speaker 2: ride to work with you. And if it doesn't catch
- 2:19Speaker 2: a ride going to work, it'll catch a ride on
- 2:30Speaker 2: the way back home. Discouragement will go into a tent,
- 2:37Speaker 2: into a garage apartment. It'll go into subsidized living. It
- 2:44Speaker 2: will walk right into a Section eight neighborhood. It will
- 2:48Speaker 2: come in, but don't think that it stops there. Discouragement
- 2:55Speaker 2: will walk right into a middle class house and sit
- 3:00Speaker 2: down at the dining room table and have a cup
- 3:04Speaker 2: of coffee early in the morning. It won't just stop there.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It'll go in a mansion and sit on the side
- 3:14Speaker 2: of the jacuzzi, stick his feet in the hot tub,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and tell you life is not worth living. If you
- 3:25Speaker 2: listen at discouragement, it will cause you to make bad decisions.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It will cause you to think that life is not
- 3:33Speaker 2: worth living. And secretly behind the facade of a smile
- 3:39Speaker 2: and a good morning and a praise the Lord, and
- 3:42Speaker 2: how are you, you will wonder if you're ever going
- 3:46Speaker 2: to get out of what you're into. Particularly painful is
- 3:54Speaker 2: discouragement in the life of the believer, because as we
- 3:59Speaker 2: travel from season to season, it is not just the
- 4:03Speaker 2: perils that we face, but it is seeing the wicked
- 4:10Speaker 2: go forward while the righteous are held back. I don't know,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever thought like that, but
- 4:23Speaker 2: sometimes I see people succeeding who didn't pray nearly as
- 4:30Speaker 2: hard work, nearly as long, have not been faithful at all,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and it seems like they seemingly have moments of victory
- 4:45Speaker 2: placed in close proximity so I could see it. Their
- 4:51Speaker 2: victories are flaunted in my face, not while I am
- 4:56Speaker 2: having a similar experience, but while all hell has broken
- 5:00Speaker 2: loose in my life and I am going through agony
- 5:05Speaker 2: and tragedy, Seemingly they are having victory and triumph, And
- 5:11Speaker 2: if you are not careful, the very sight of their
- 5:14Speaker 2: prosperity becomes your agony, and seeing them go forward will
- 5:21Speaker 2: be a source of such continued frustration that it is
- 5:24Speaker 2: not your tests that baffles you, but their success agonizingly
- 5:30Speaker 2: displayed before you, makes you despair of life. Until David
- 5:34Speaker 2: says in thirty seven and one. Fret not thyself over evildoers.
- 5:42Speaker 2: How they prosper in their own way, they so soon
- 5:49Speaker 2: be cut off, he says. In other words, don't make
- 5:53Speaker 2: a permanent decision over a temporary circumstance. He says, don't
- 6:03Speaker 2: allow a moment of agony to make you draw a
- 6:07Speaker 2: conclusion about life prematurely, because if you just keep on
- 6:14Speaker 2: walking with God, God has a way of making everything
- 6:22Speaker 2: all right. But he warns us and declares to us
- 6:28Speaker 2: that the steps of a good man are ordered by
- 6:35Speaker 2: the Lord steps. Somebody says steps. Now, the term steps
- 6:44Speaker 2: implies process means it's gonna take a while, means that
- 6:55Speaker 2: you can't get to the destination just because you want it,
- 7:02Speaker 2: just because you saw it, just because you like it,
- 7:07Speaker 2: just because you need it. In fact, we are often
- 7:12Speaker 2: tormented by vision. Yeah, we're tormented by vision. It's a
- 7:19Speaker 2: painful thing to be a visionary, because a visionary sees
- 7:25Speaker 2: what shall be and wakes up to deal with what
- 7:29Speaker 2: he is. Sometimes a visionary cries out on the inside
- 7:39Speaker 2: and says, God, don't even show me what shall be,
- 7:45Speaker 2: because every time I shout and dance over what you
- 7:49Speaker 2: showed me, I go home to a harsh and painful, bleak,
- 7:53Speaker 2: dark reality, and the fact that I am torn between
- 7:58Speaker 2: what shall be and what he creates agony in my life.
- 8:03Speaker 2: The Bible said hope deferred makes the heart sick. There
- 8:08Speaker 2: are moments that I'd rather not know that I'm gonna
- 8:11Speaker 2: be king if you're gonna send me back out into
- 8:14Speaker 2: the field to take care of sheep. Why didn't you
- 8:18Speaker 2: just hide that I was gonna be keen so I
- 8:21Speaker 2: could be satisfied taking care of sheep. But because you
- 8:25Speaker 2: told me you had more for me, I wanted to
- 8:29Speaker 2: hasten the process to get to my destiny.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Now now I'm.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Not happy doing what I used to be happy doing
- 8:38Speaker 2: because I'm tormented by what shall be. I want to
- 8:42Speaker 2: hasten my process so that I can get to an
- 8:45Speaker 2: expected end. But that cannot be done because a blessing
- 8:53Speaker 2: given too soon is not a blessing at all. I
- 9:01Speaker 2: can give my son the car keys now and tell
- 9:05Speaker 2: him to go to the store, But had I given
- 9:08Speaker 2: it to him when he was five, it would not
- 9:11Speaker 2: have been a blessing at all. Same car, same son,
- 9:16Speaker 2: given too soon. He can't handle it. The car can
- 9:22Speaker 2: handle it, the road can handle it. I can give
- 9:27Speaker 2: it to him, but he can't handle it. So would
- 9:32Speaker 2: I be a good father if I gave him a
- 9:35Speaker 2: good thing too soon. Sometimes my goodness is proven by
- 9:42Speaker 2: my ability to say not yet. The younger brother of
- 9:51Speaker 2: the prodigal son teaches us symphatically that if we get
- 9:54Speaker 2: what is ours too soon, we cannot handle it. That
- 9:59Speaker 2: the same that should make us praise the Father will
- 10:02Speaker 2: drive us away from the Father if we get it
- 10:05Speaker 2: too soon. The Bible said, he said, give me the portion.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Of goods that followed to me.
- 10:11Speaker 2: The father gave in and gave it to him, and
- 10:14Speaker 2: the blessing drove him over the edge. My prayer has
- 10:18Speaker 2: always been, Lord, don't give me more than I can handle.
- 10:25Speaker 2: You know when to bless me, You know how to
- 10:29Speaker 2: bless me. You know when I'm ready to be blessed.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Teach me patience with the process. Go through the process.
- 10:42Speaker 2: God has ordered steps.
- 10:45Speaker 3: The thing that I'm.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Thankful for is to know that God orders the steps.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It helps me to understand that I am not wandering aimlessly,
- 10:58Speaker 2: that I'm not just moving on my own, that there
- 11:02Speaker 2: is a course for me to take, and that I
- 11:07Speaker 2: can't graduate till I take it. That there is a
- 11:12Speaker 2: path for me to try that. God, is it making
- 11:15Speaker 2: this thing up as he goes? I thought he was
- 11:19Speaker 2: making it up as he went. That's why I prayed,
- 11:22Speaker 2: so he could make it up my way. I prayed
- 11:28Speaker 2: to abort the process. I prayed to speed it up.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I prayed to get out the things that he wanted
- 11:33Speaker 2: me to stay into. I prayed that I wouldn't have
- 11:36Speaker 2: to endure some things that he wanted me to endure.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I was working on the destination, but he was working
- 11:42Speaker 2: on me, and sometimes he made me wait. He made
- 11:51Speaker 2: me slow down and said, no, you skipped that step.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Go back, go back and do that again. If you've
- 12:02Speaker 2: skipped it with Jimmy, I'm gonna send it back with Freddy.
- 12:10Speaker 2: If you skipped it with Willie, you're gonna have to
- 12:13Speaker 2: go through it with Roger. If you skipped it with Sally,
- 12:16Speaker 2: you're gonna go through it with Susie. Because all of
- 12:19Speaker 2: these are tools that I'm using the work on you.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I'm not preparing the blessing for you. I'm preparing you
- 12:26Speaker 2: for the blessing. The blessing is already prepared. Oh my God,
- 12:31Speaker 2: the blessing is already prepared. Eyes have not seen ears
- 12:36Speaker 2: have not heard, neither have entered into the heart of
- 12:39Speaker 2: man the things that God have prepared for them to
- 12:42Speaker 2: love it. Did you know your blessing is already ready,
- 12:46Speaker 2: that it is already in place, that God in fixing
- 12:50Speaker 2: it up right now, it's already done. That the work
- 12:54Speaker 2: doesn't have to be applied to where you're going. The
- 12:58Speaker 2: work has to be applied to you, so that when
- 13:01Speaker 2: you get where you're going, you can handle what you
- 13:04Speaker 2: gotta handle. That's Oh, God, help me preach the steps,
- 13:08Speaker 2: the steps, the steps. Touch three people and say the steps,
- 13:12Speaker 2: the steps, the steps. You wanted a good husband, but
- 13:21Speaker 2: you wasn't a good wife. You wanted children, but you
- 13:27Speaker 2: wasn't a good parent. You wanted a good wife, but
- 13:30Speaker 2: you wasn't a good man. And anytime you get anything
- 13:36Speaker 2: too soon, you will trip on the steps. So God
- 13:42Speaker 2: puts us in process.
- 13:45Speaker 1: And order steps still to come on. The party's touch.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Press toward the back of the price of the high calling,
- 13:58Speaker 2: slap your name and tell him I crash, I press
- 14:04Speaker 2: I press over, depressing, I press over a rejection, I
- 14:08Speaker 2: press off of feel, I press over along of this
- 14:12Speaker 2: double You talk to a half man, but have the
- 14:16Speaker 2: time new time I press before I die in a cage.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I want to run in the wild. We can do
- 14:26Speaker 2: what it is without limits, without being boxed in a cage,
- 14:31Speaker 2: without being hindered. I want to run in the wild
- 14:35Speaker 2: of my destiny. I want to run in the wild
- 14:37Speaker 2: of my purpose. Telling us to branch out, and it's
- 14:40Speaker 2: time to shift it just about taking it to the
- 14:42Speaker 2: next level under just taking outside of the four walls.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I got to get out of this cage.
- 14:50Speaker 2: God is giving us a place around where we are
- 14:52Speaker 2: pastoring to take hold of that region for the King
- 14:55Speaker 2: of God. You're frustrated about something that's just an incumbat
- 15:00Speaker 2: to take you to the next dimension.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Now we're gonna grow and go to global missions.
- 15:05Speaker 2: No more limits, no more boundaries. The cage is open.
- 15:08Speaker 1: You don't have any excuses anymore on why you can't
- 15:11Speaker 1: fulfill your purpose and to complete your assignment. To register
- 15:15Speaker 1: for this international gathering, visit Pastors and Leaders dot org
- 15:18Speaker 1: or call one hundred bishop to.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The steps. A good man I ordered by the Lord.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Even Jesus had steps. They tried to crown him to
- 15:33Speaker 2: sue and he disappeared because they were trying to make
- 15:37Speaker 2: him stip the steps. He said no, No, you can't
- 15:41Speaker 2: crown me before you cross me.
- 15:50Speaker 3: It is my cross that makes my crown.
- 15:59Speaker 2: It is my that makes my ecstasy. It is my
- 16:05Speaker 2: sickness that makes my healing. It is my poverty that
- 16:12Speaker 2: illuminates my prosperity, makes me appreciate where I am. Old,
- 16:17Speaker 2: God help me, makes me appreciate where I am right now.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You don't knowice good health till you've been sick.
- 16:25Speaker 3: You don't even notice it. You don't even understand the.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Words that are coming out of my mouth until you
- 16:31Speaker 2: have been sick. You will never thank God for feeling
- 16:34Speaker 2: good until you felt bad. You'll never take God for
- 16:39Speaker 2: your back, for your neck, for your head, for your kidness,
- 16:43Speaker 2: for your liver until it been child. But after a
- 16:46Speaker 2: while you start taking God for crazy stuff. Take you come,
- 16:51Speaker 2: I can see this morning? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The
- 17:02Speaker 2: truth of the matter is it's a whole lot of
- 17:04Speaker 2: folk in here that are thankful for stuff that they
- 17:07Speaker 2: can't testify about because people wouldn't understand your testimony. I
- 17:12Speaker 2: mean dumb stuff like Lord, I thank you, I can
- 17:15Speaker 2: afford to get my head done. Oh ya, don't understand.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Let me talk to these people over here. Lord, I
- 17:22Speaker 2: thank you. I got the book money to send the
- 17:24Speaker 2: kids to school. I know that ain't a big testimony there,
- 17:28Speaker 2: But when you've been to hell and back, you can
- 17:32Speaker 2: thank God for little stuff. The steps of a good
- 17:37Speaker 2: man are ordered by the Lord, and I don't have
- 17:41Speaker 2: to be on the stage to be grateful. I can
- 17:44Speaker 2: praise him on the step because they had read. Time
- 17:48Speaker 2: I make a step, touch the neighbors say, praise him
- 17:56Speaker 2: on the steps. Don't wait till you get to the stage.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Don't wait till you get finished, don't wait till everything
- 18:04Speaker 2: is in order. But every now and then you ought
- 18:07Speaker 2: to stop right in the middle of the step and say, Lord,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I take you. I'm not where I'm gonna be, but
- 18:16Speaker 2: I'm glad I'm not where I used to be.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Lord, I take you. Is there anybody in.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Here that's praising God on the steps? Look at you,
- 18:30Speaker 2: David's how I'm not there yet. I'm not finished yet.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I haven't arrived yet. But when you see me praising God,
- 18:41Speaker 2: I'm praising him on the steps.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Somebody praying on the steps.
- 18:55Speaker 2: The devil hates step praise, I said, the devil hates
- 19:06Speaker 2: step praise. Sayan hates step praise. Praise and stops in
- 19:13Speaker 2: the middle of the step and said, I tell not
- 19:16Speaker 2: myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do
- 19:22Speaker 2: forgetting that which is behind me and reach into that
- 19:26Speaker 2: which is before me.
- 19:28Speaker 3: I press, I press, I press. I wish I had
- 19:37Speaker 3: some determined folk in here. I press to on the
- 19:42Speaker 3: mark of the price of the.
- 19:45Speaker 2: High calling slap your name and tell him I'm press.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I press, I press over depressing, I press over rejection,
- 19:57Speaker 2: I press over of feel, press home.
- 20:00Speaker 3: A lode of this. Tell me you tuk to had me,
- 20:04Speaker 3: but every time you tried, I prast. Look at the
- 20:16Speaker 3: neighbors say no, I'm not perfect. I am not perfect.
- 20:22Speaker 2: But one thing I do, I'm prash every morning I
- 20:28Speaker 2: get out the bad every day I get in my car.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I don't care what they say. I don't tell what
- 20:37Speaker 3: they do.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You better not go to sleep on the steps. You
- 20:48Speaker 2: better not start crying on the steps. You better not
- 20:51Speaker 2: give up on the steps. You better not collapse on
- 20:54Speaker 2: the steps. They will find you on the steps if
- 20:58Speaker 2: you lay down there and run over the top of
- 20:59Speaker 2: you all the steps. I don't care whether it's SunShot
- 21:03Speaker 2: or rain, plays or pain. When you get up in
- 21:06Speaker 2: the marter, put your pasts home and prat flop your
- 21:14Speaker 2: name in the hollow paths. I measure the value of
- 21:20Speaker 2: a man by how hard he presses. That's how you
- 21:26Speaker 2: can determine who you're fighting by how hard they press.
- 21:33Speaker 2: How hard you press tells me how hard you hit.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 21:40Speaker 2: You can be all big and muscle bound and still
- 21:43Speaker 2: not have no force behind your pumps.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Force kinetic energy energy in motion. You can't have energy sitting.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Energy is measured by emotion. That's why the devil wants
- 22:04Speaker 2: you to sit, shut down, shut up and feel sorry
- 22:11Speaker 2: for yourself.
- 22:12Speaker 3: But you ought to blow of that was mine this morning.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Oh, you ought to blow of that was mine this morning.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Just what do you think he got to die? You
- 22:24Speaker 3: ought to suck him and press.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I feel a pressing spirit in here this morning. I
- 22:37Speaker 2: feel a determination in here this morning. I feel a
- 22:40Speaker 2: fighting here this morning. Look at the they would say,
- 22:43Speaker 2: get on up them steps, get on.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Up, get on up, get together, hold up the steps,
- 22:48Speaker 4: get on, get on up them steps, get on get
- 22:50Speaker 4: on get on up them steps, Get on up them steps,
- 22:52Speaker 4: Get on up them steps, Get on up, get on
- 22:55Speaker 4: up them steps, Get on up them steps, Get on
- 22:57Speaker 4: up them steps, get on up them saying, do you
- 23:00Speaker 4: get forty and get tired? Don't you get fifty and
- 23:03Speaker 4: get tired? Don't you get sixty and get tired. Don't
- 23:06Speaker 4: you get seventy here and get tired. Don't you get
- 23:08Speaker 4: eighty and get tight.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Jail the stamps?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Whoa of a good man? I'm not talking about a
- 23:23Speaker 2: bad man. I'm talking about a good man. Don't you
- 23:28Speaker 2: sit there with your good chelf and say, oh, that
- 23:30Speaker 2: won't happen to me because I'm good. No, it's gonna
- 23:33Speaker 2: happen to you because you're good. The steps of a
- 23:37Speaker 2: good man ordered ordered by the Lord, not offered ordered.
- 23:47Speaker 2: He ordered you to go up the steps. It wouldn't
- 23:50Speaker 2: let you bypass the process. All those people who offered
- 23:54Speaker 2: you quick deals. The reason the deal went down is
- 23:58Speaker 2: because God ordered you to go up the steps. He
- 24:00Speaker 2: didn't intend for you to go up the elevator. He
- 24:03Speaker 2: knew if you got there too fast, you wasn't gonna
- 24:05Speaker 2: be ready for it. She slowed down your process. He
- 24:08Speaker 2: let the deal go down. It wasn't time yet. When
- 24:11Speaker 2: it's time, it's gonna happen. When it's time, it's gonna
- 24:16Speaker 2: come to pass when it's time. You're coming out of trouble,
- 24:20Speaker 2: when it's time. Can't no grave hold your body down?
- 24:23Speaker 2: When is time. God is gonna resurrect you.
- 24:26Speaker 3: When is time?
- 24:27Speaker 2: Oh, y'all, don't hear what I'm saying?
- 24:29Speaker 3: Wow, Holly ya.
- 24:37Speaker 2: So what I do? What do I do? What do
- 24:41Speaker 2: I do? In the meantime? In the mean time, while
- 24:53Speaker 2: I wait to reach my destination, The only thing I
- 24:58Speaker 2: have to worry about is Lord, let me stay on tracks.
- 25:06Speaker 2: They met brother Job one day and they said, Job,
- 25:11Speaker 2: your children are dead, your cattle are dead, your wife
- 25:17Speaker 2: has despised you. Your name has gone down. He said,
- 25:21Speaker 2: that's all right. I'm right on tracks. The Lord knows
- 25:27Speaker 2: the way that I take, and when he has tried me,
- 25:31Speaker 2: I shall come forth as pure gold. I don't know
- 25:36Speaker 2: who God wanted me to preach you this morning, but
- 25:40Speaker 2: the Lord sent me to tell you you're right on track.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Havn't got all the stand stand there for anyway. And
- 25:50Speaker 2: whatever happens, does the Lord I take you. You ordered
- 25:56Speaker 2: this step. I won't murmur anything. I won't complain in it.
