- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simone on 710WOR.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Well, Bill O'Reilly, number one TV anchor for decades, number
- 0:09Speaker 2: one best-selling non-fiction author on earth. You should get his
- 0:13Speaker 2: latest book, Confronting America. It's an amazing book that takes
- 0:17Speaker 2: you through a lot of recent history and a lot
- 0:19Speaker 2: of great stories, and it's Confronting America. You can get
- 0:23Speaker 2: it right now on Amazon and You can also get
- 0:26Speaker 2: it at BillOReilly.com. That's where you can get the TV show,
- 0:30Speaker 2: the column, the podcast. We'll do it live. Some great
- 0:33Speaker 2: stuff there. Everything's at BillOReilly.com. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing?
- 0:39Speaker 1: I'm dizzy. I have so much work. It's unbelievable. At
- 0:44Speaker 1: my age, I should be in a golf cart zipping
- 0:48Speaker 1: around the villages. Okay? But nope. I'm fulfilling my obligations.
- 0:55Speaker 1: How are you, Simone?
- 0:56Speaker 2: I'm good. Hey, now, you were spotted at the White
- 1:00Speaker 2: House meeting with President Trump. What was that all about?
- 1:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I got summoned, and it's always good to see
- 1:09Speaker 1: the White House. Been there under three presidents. You know,
- 1:14Speaker 1: it's amazing coming from Levittown. I thought I would even
- 1:18Speaker 1: get to Washington, D.C., much less inside the Oval Office.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But in a conversation with the president and Secretary of
- 1:27Speaker 1: State Marco Rubio about Iran, and they asked my opinion.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I gave it to them, as I always do. No spin.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And I think something's going to happen there. But I've
- 1:42Speaker 1: been saying that for a while, so I'm not sure
- 1:44Speaker 1: how much credibility I have on the issue.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You mean something... Before the midterms or after the midterms?
- 1:51Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't do the president any good after the midterms,
- 1:56Speaker 1: politically speaking. So, you know, you've got this terror nation
- 2:02Speaker 1: who is basically giving us the finger and saying, we're
- 2:07Speaker 1: going to do what we want. They just withdrew from
- 2:09Speaker 1: the U.N. nuclear treaty. I mean, they're doing everything they
- 2:15Speaker 1: can to disrupt the world. Now, the world doesn't care
- 2:18Speaker 1: or is too cowardly or whatever it may be, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: we fell into this because the Trump administration believed they'd
- 2:25Speaker 1: knock Iran out quickly, and that has not happened. But
- 2:29Speaker 1: now I think they need to be punished, and I
- 2:32Speaker 1: suggested knocking out the airport, knocking out all of their
- 2:38Speaker 1: ability to ship anything anywhere. And that's pretty much all
- 2:42Speaker 1: we can do unless we want to kill civilians, which
- 2:45Speaker 1: the president does not want to do. Now, the other party,
- 2:50Speaker 1: the Democratic Party, wants to surrender to Iran. That's just
- 2:54Speaker 1: an outrage. We can't surrender to these barbarians. I mean,
- 2:58Speaker 1: tomorrow is the anniversary of October 7th. You know that.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And who was behind that Hamas attack in Israel? Iran. So,
- 3:08Speaker 1: which was a surrender to these people? No, that's insane.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Even though you're paying more for gas and food, we
- 3:17Speaker 1: just cannot do that and maintain credibility all over the world.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I mean, if we pulled out of there and didn't
- 3:27Speaker 1: get anything out of this, Oh boy, would that be
- 3:30Speaker 1: a disaster?
- 3:31Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, that's a good point. Uh, Hey, uh, Bill O'Reilly.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So you were in the, uh, oval office. You've been
- 3:36Speaker 2: there many times, different presidents. So, uh, be honest. The, uh,
- 3:40Speaker 2: Current decor of the Oval Office, the decorating job there,
- 3:44Speaker 2: it's a little Liberace-ish.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Isn't it? Good line. Good line. I think Liberace would
- 3:52Speaker 1: be comfortable, but they've slimmed it down a little bit.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it got to the point now where they were
- 4:02Speaker 1: having antique shows, but now they've slimmed it down. And
- 4:10Speaker 1: it's magnificent. It really is. And, you know, you get there,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and I've been all over the White House, and President
- 4:18Speaker 1: Obama took me up to the Lincoln Bedroom and showed
- 4:20Speaker 1: me the Gettysburg Address. I mean, it's just staggering for
- 4:24Speaker 1: a person like me who is closely allied with my country,
- 4:28Speaker 1: not a political party, but with my country itself. It's
- 4:32Speaker 1: a magnificent building, and it's a privilege for me to
- 4:36Speaker 1: be invited to go there.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Now, when it comes to Donald Trump, you know him
- 4:40Speaker 2: better than anybody. You literally wrote the book on him.
- 4:44Speaker 2: If you study his career, he keeps getting bigger and
- 4:47Speaker 2: bigger and bigger. He kept growing and getting bigger and bigger.
- 4:51Speaker 2: When he leaves the Oval Office, when he leaves the presidency,
- 4:53Speaker 2: he won't be able to do that anymore. What else
- 4:55Speaker 2: can he do in life? It's going to be tough
- 4:57Speaker 2: for him. He can't grow anymore.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he's going to launch a television network
- 5:02Speaker 1: of some kind or media something. That's where I see
- 5:06Speaker 1: him going. I could be wrong on it, but he's
- 5:09Speaker 1: not going to be sitting around, uh, going to the
- 5:12Speaker 1: Poconos every weekend. I mean, that's not going to be happening.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So he's got, uh, a lot of real estate all
- 5:19Speaker 1: over the world. You would assume that he will keep
- 5:22Speaker 1: up with that. Um, but he's enamored with the media. And, uh,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I think there's a Trump channel now. Nobody knows where
- 5:30Speaker 1: to find it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he
- 5:32Speaker 1: expands on that. Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Um, Hey, a midterm elections, uh, The Republicans are a
- 5:39Speaker 2: little behind, but that's not bad, as long as you've
- 5:41Speaker 2: got momentum. Can he pull a rabbit out of his
- 5:43Speaker 2: hat again this time?
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yeah. It's certainly, if you look at the races individually,
- 5:50Speaker 1: the Republicans aren't that far behind, as you pointed out.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And if the president can get some kind of action
- 6:01Speaker 1: going against Iran and convince the American oil companies... to
- 6:06Speaker 1: take maybe 200% profit a quarter, not 300%. 300% profit
- 6:12Speaker 1: on these things. Come on. And so if you can
- 6:17Speaker 1: get that and people see that there is an improvement happening,
- 6:24Speaker 1: then the Republicans will surprise. Because I don't know anybody
- 6:28Speaker 1: in my circle who wants these radicals to have power.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Do you know anybody? I don't know anybody. And I
- 6:36Speaker 1: know thousands of people. I don't know anybody who wants
- 6:40Speaker 1: these radicals to take over. That's why Hochul's having so
- 6:43Speaker 1: much trouble. She's trying to brand Blakeman as Trump-lite and
- 6:50Speaker 1: all that. But what else does Hochul have? What has
- 6:55Speaker 1: she done for the state other than raise taxes and
- 6:57Speaker 1: make it incredibly difficult for working people to live here?
- 7:04Speaker 1: I mean, I'm waiting for anything, madam. Give me anything.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And so the rational voter, responsible voter goes, oh, I mean,
- 7:15Speaker 1: I like Trump. I mean, I like Blakeman. I don't
- 7:17Speaker 1: like this style. I don't know what to do. But
- 7:20Speaker 1: is this what you want? Is that what you want?
- 7:24Speaker 1: And the kicker is when I'm doing my debates with
- 7:28Speaker 1: Cuomo and News Nation or whatever, the people who see
- 7:32Speaker 1: it another way, I always ask them, well, what is
- 7:35Speaker 1: the Democratic Party's plan to drop prices? There is no plan.
- 7:43Speaker 1: There's no plan. They don't have anything. Zero. Now, the
- 7:47Speaker 1: Republicans don't have anything either. But if the Democratic Party
- 7:55Speaker 1: gets power, you're going to see a real fierce movement
- 8:00Speaker 1: towards socialism. You know, I don't know whether you noticed
- 8:03Speaker 1: the riots in France last week with the students burning
- 8:07Speaker 1: down all the schools and all that. Yeah. Did you
- 8:10Speaker 1: see it? Yeah. It was nasty. That's coming here. That's
- 8:16Speaker 1: coming here. Because these radical leftists, there's no restraint on
- 8:22Speaker 1: them now, particularly if the Democratic Party wins and gets power.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Who's going to restrain them? Chuck Schumer? I mean, I'm
- 8:32Speaker 1: saying you can't surrender to terrorists in Iran and you
- 8:37Speaker 1: can't elect a party that is going to give you
- 8:40Speaker 1: Abdul Al-Sayed. Is that what you want? And most people
- 8:47Speaker 1: just walk away from that debate. They don't engage because
- 8:51Speaker 1: they know I'm right.
- 8:53Speaker 2: If the Democrats lose, are they going to then go
- 8:56Speaker 2: totally nuts, even crazier, erratic, or are they going to
- 9:00Speaker 2: smarten up and clean up their party?
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know about, you know, I don't follow either party,
- 9:06Speaker 1: the internal. There's no leadership in the Democratic Party at all.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So that's a big vacuum there. So Schumer would be
- 9:15Speaker 1: maintaining his position as the leader of the Senate. Schumer's
- 9:20Speaker 1: not going to do jack. Okay, he's going to sit
- 9:22Speaker 1: there until he retires. And once AOC announces that she's
- 9:26Speaker 1: going to run for the Senate, that's when Schumer will
- 9:28Speaker 1: hang it up. So you're not going to get any reform.
- 9:33Speaker 1: in the Democratic Party, even if they get whacked, because
- 9:36Speaker 1: there's nobody at the top of it to steer that reform.
- 9:42Speaker 1: On the Republican side, two years of Donald Trump. When
- 9:45Speaker 1: he leaves, it's a free-for-all. In the meeting that I
- 9:48Speaker 1: went to last week in the Oval Office, Secretary of
- 9:52Speaker 1: State Rubio was in the meeting. It was the President, Rubio,
- 9:57Speaker 1: and me. And I was impressed. by Rubio. I have
- 10:01Speaker 1: to tell you. He's got a good grasp of the world,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and he's got a very calm demeanor. I'm not endorsing
- 10:09Speaker 1: anybody anywhere, but in the past, I know him a
- 10:12Speaker 1: little bit, but I hadn't spent as much time as
- 10:15Speaker 1: I did on Wednesday.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Interesting. Hey, we're out of time, but... I want to
- 10:20Speaker 2: recommend Bill O'Reilly's new book, Confronting America. You're going to
- 10:24Speaker 2: love this book. It's a lot of great stuff in there.
- 10:27Speaker 2: And the podcast, we'll do it live. You should watch that.
- 10:31Speaker 2: The latest one with Peter Navarro, really interesting. And the
- 10:34Speaker 2: new podcast is coming out.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be, you're going to love this.
- 10:39Speaker 1: It's going to be me and Geraldo debating. I'm calling
- 10:44Speaker 1: it the Great Midterm Election Debate. We're putting the immigration
- 10:50Speaker 1: thing on the shelf because we've already done that. But
- 10:53Speaker 1: Geraldo's taking some pretty heavy shots at Trump. And so
- 10:59Speaker 1: it's going to be me and him about the midterm vote.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And that is going to drop on Thursday. And I
- 11:09Speaker 1: can promise you that will not be boring.
- 11:12Speaker 2: All right, well, everybody check that out. And make sure
- 11:14Speaker 2: you watch Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Get the podcast. We'll
- 11:17Speaker 2: do it live. You just go to BillOReilly.com. Everything is there,
- 11:20Speaker 2: the book, the column, the podcast, the TV show, BillOReilly.com.
- 11:25Speaker 2: It's great stuff there. Bill O'Reilly, thanks for being with us.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Thanks for having me, Mark. Appreciate it.
