Speaker 1: Is the US a de facto member of IPEK right now.
• 0:03
Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you what, we are a very strong
• 0:05
Speaker 2: presence in Venezuela. We're gonna get a lot of money
• 0:08
Speaker 2: for Venezuela, and Venezuela has the largest oil reserves of
• 0:11
Speaker 2: the world with the exception I think of our country yep,
• 0:14
Speaker 2: and it's bigger than Saudi Arabia. And we are working
• 0:17
Speaker 2: beautifully with Venezuela. I will tell you they're going to
• 0:20
Speaker 2: do better now than they ever did that they've done
• 0:22
Speaker 2: ever at any point, and we're going to be making
• 0:24
Speaker 2: a lot of money for them and a lot of
• 0:26
Speaker 2: money for our country. We have a very good relationship
• 0:28
Speaker 2: with the leaders of Venezuela and.
• 0:30
Speaker 3: We're gonna keep it.
• 0:31
Speaker 4: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
• 0:34
  Speaker 4: Ben ferguson.
• 0:35
Speaker 3: Good Monday morning, So nice to have you with us
• 0:38
Speaker 3: on the forty seven Morning Update. And we've got one
• 0:40
Speaker 3: big story for you. Donald Trump breaking the United Nations.
• 0:44
Speaker 3: They're now begging for money and angry at the United
• 0:47
Speaker 3: States of America for not sending them more. How did
• 0:51
Speaker 3: Donald Trump do it? And what does this mean? Explain
• 0:53
Speaker 3: it all to you. It's a forty seven Morning Update,
• 0:56
Speaker 3: and it starts right now.
• 0:57
  Speaker 4: Story number one.
• 0:59
Speaker 3: The United Nations is in theory going broke and needs
• 1:04
Speaker 3: member nations to step up and send cash, and lots
• 1:09
Speaker 3: of it. That is the plea from the Secretary General,
• 1:12
Speaker 3: who fears that the globalist body is at risk of
• 1:16
Speaker 3: imminent financial collapse quote unquote due to member states not
• 1:20
Speaker 3: paying their fees. The former leader of the Portuguese Socialist
• 1:25
Speaker 3: Party said Friday that the UN faces a financial crisis
• 1:30
Speaker 3: which was deepening, threatening program delivery and money could run
• 1:35
Speaker 3: out as soon as July, leaving the unaccountable globalist society destitute.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: Doesn't that sound amazing?
• 1:44
Speaker 3: By the way, Such is the financial drama unfolding at
• 1:47
Speaker 3: the UN headquarters in Geneva. Signs warning of the situation
• 1:51
Speaker 3: have reportedly been put up everywhere in an almost desperate
• 1:55
Speaker 3: attempt to save cash. The escalators, they say, are regularly
• 1:59
Speaker 3: turned off, the heating turned down. The BBC is now
• 2:02
Speaker 3: reporting the man in charge in a massive email to
• 2:07
Speaker 3: our cable or whatever you want to call it, to
• 2:10
Speaker 3: all one hundred and ninety three member states, outlining his
• 2:13
Speaker 3: fears and pleading they had to honor their mandatory payments
• 2:18
Speaker 3: or overhauled the organization's financial rules to avoid collapse. Now
• 2:22
Speaker 3: it comes after the UN's largest contributor, wait, wait for it,
• 2:26
Speaker 3: drum roll please, you guessed it, the United States of
• 2:28
Speaker 3: America refuse to contribute to its regular and peacekeeping budget
• 2:33
Speaker 3: and withdrew from several agencies that called a waste of
• 2:37
Speaker 3: taxpayer dollars. By the way, you can think literally Donald
• 2:40
Speaker 3: Trump for this. These include the UN's Population Agency and
• 2:44
Speaker 3: the UN treaty that establishes international climate negotiations.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: As the AP reported it.
• 2:50
Speaker 3: As well, the US also intends to exit dozens of
• 2:53
Speaker 3: other global organizations or initiatives not affiliated with the UN
• 2:57
Speaker 3: but still rely on massive UN funding. Here's something that's interesting.
• 3:01
Speaker 3: One person put on social media question, what do you
• 3:04
Speaker 3: call Don Trump defunding sixty six globalists anti American organizations
• 3:09
Speaker 3: and calling back billions of US taxpayer dollars.
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: Answer?
• 3:12
Speaker 3: A good start. By the way, I couldn't agree more
• 3:16
Speaker 3: with that. He's absolutely right to do it.
• 3:20
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 3:20
Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you more about that money in
• 3:21
Speaker 3: a moment, but let me get back to this. The
• 3:24
Speaker 3: BBC now reports the Secretary General wrote that the UN,
• 3:27
Speaker 3: which officially came into being in October of nineteen forty five,
• 3:32
Speaker 3: had faced financial crisis in the past, but the current
• 3:35
Speaker 3: situation was categorically quote unquote different decisions not to honor
• 3:41
Speaker 3: assess contributions that finances significant share of the approved regular
• 3:46
Speaker 3: budget have now been formally announced, as Secretary General said,
• 3:50
Speaker 3: without naming specific members, He said the integrity of the
• 3:53
Speaker 3: entire system depends on states adhering to their obligation under
• 3:57
Speaker 3: the UN Charter to pay their assessed contributions, adding that's
• 4:00
Speaker 3: seventy seven percent of the total ode have been paid
• 4:04
Speaker 3: in twenty twenty five, leaving a record amount unpaid. By
• 4:07
Speaker 3: the way, what's also really funny if you google this guy,
• 4:10
Speaker 3: this dude has like been eaten high on the hag okay,
• 4:12
Speaker 3: Like he's a fat dude, And a lot of his
• 4:15
Speaker 3: pictures show him in luxury situations like a private jet
• 4:19
Speaker 3: or a private helicopter. That's just one example of like
• 4:23
Speaker 3: who this dude is. Like you want to talk about
• 4:24
Speaker 3: somebody needs to tighten the belt, it's this guy now. Now,
• 4:27
Speaker 3: de Gutia has said a rule that the UN must
• 4:30
Speaker 3: return unspent money on particular programs to members if it
• 4:33
Speaker 3: could not implement a budget created a double blow in
• 4:37
Speaker 3: which it was expected to give back cast that does
• 4:40
Speaker 3: not exist. Well, hold on, I seid, you're supposed to
• 4:42
Speaker 3: give it back if it's not used, where'd it go,
• 4:44
Speaker 3: mister EWN Secretary General. I'm asking for I don't know,
• 4:47
Speaker 3: a bunch of taxpayers in America.
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: Quote.
• 4:50
Speaker 3: I cannot overstate the urgency of the situation we now face.
• 4:53
Speaker 3: We cannot execute budgets with uncollected funds nor return funds.
• 4:59
Speaker 3: We never reset now. The US is the UN's largest contributor.
• 5:04
Speaker 3: Donald Trump has said it was not fulfilling its great potential,
• 5:09
Speaker 3: and then he criticized it for failing to support US
• 5:11
Speaker 3: led peace efforts, especially in the Middle East. You also
• 5:14
Speaker 3: have to remember it was the same UN that was
• 5:17
Speaker 3: busted helping Hamas and Hezballah. Yes, they were actually helping them.
• 5:21
Speaker 3: I'll have more on that story in a minute. The
• 5:23
Speaker 3: US did not pay its contributions to the UN's regular
• 5:25
Speaker 3: budget in twenty twenty five, and offered only thirty percent
• 5:29
Speaker 3: of its expected funding to UN peacekeeping operations. Why because
• 5:33
Speaker 3: they're pretty much worthless now. In January last year, Trump
• 5:36
Speaker 3: withdrew it from dozens of international organizations, including thirty one
• 5:41
Speaker 3: UN agencies to quote in American taxpayer funding and involvement
• 5:46
Speaker 3: in entities that advanced globalist agendas over US priorities. The
• 5:51
Speaker 3: President said, Now the UN's thirst for other people's money appears,
• 5:55
Speaker 3: well something that they're not going to stop any time soon,
• 5:58
Speaker 3: because they're crying out for the rest of the world
• 6:00
Speaker 3: to give them money and demanding that. America is in
• 6:03
Speaker 3: a huge check. I expect some of the world to
• 6:06
Speaker 3: like be suckered into this and like, yeah, we'll stand
• 6:08
Speaker 3: up and you know, do this.
• 6:09
Speaker 1: I don't think America should send any of this money.
• 6:12
Speaker 3: In fact, I actually believe we should just completely get
• 6:15
Speaker 3: out of the UN, except for having one person show
• 6:17
Speaker 3: up so we know what's going on. But like, we
• 6:19
Speaker 3: should not give any money to the United Nations, in
• 6:22
Speaker 3: my opinion, like the bare minimum, just to have a
• 6:25
Speaker 3: seat at the table, like whatever that is.
• 6:27
Speaker 1: That's all I think. Any of the other crap.
• 6:29
Speaker 3: I don't think we should be involved in any of
• 6:31
Speaker 3: it because these are Marxist socialists and communists that are
• 6:33
Speaker 3: running the organization. Literally, a former communist is running the organization.
• 6:38
Speaker 3: Now here's the second part of the story, which is
• 6:40
Speaker 3: really interesting. The Trump administration announced it's taking US tax
• 6:44
Speaker 3: payer dollars away from What they have said is sixty
• 6:48
Speaker 3: six globalist organizations, nearly half of them affiliated with the
• 6:52
Speaker 3: United Nations, and all of which are identified as quote,
• 6:56
Speaker 3: contrary to the interests of the United States. Most notable
• 7:01
Speaker 3: is the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change known as
• 7:04
Speaker 3: the UNFCCC, the parent treaty underpin all the major international
• 7:10
Speaker 3: climate agreements. The treaty was adopted in nineteen ninety two.
• 7:14
Speaker 3: It's a global pack by nations to cooperate to drive
• 7:17
Speaker 3: down planet warming greenhouse gast missions and adapt to the
• 7:21
Speaker 3: impacts of so called climate change. So they're saying, if
• 7:24
Speaker 3: you don't do this, and it's all this money we waste,
• 7:26
Speaker 3: and it goes all these special organizations, interest groups and
• 7:29
Speaker 3: family members and friends of all the powerful people, and
• 7:31
Speaker 3: it doesn't do jack crap.
• 7:33
Speaker 1: That's the reality of the situation, okay. Quote.
• 7:36
Speaker 3: The decision by the world's largest economy and second largest
• 7:39
Speaker 3: emitter of I guess greenhouse gases to retreat from this
• 7:44
Speaker 3: is regrettable and unfortunate.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: That is what they set at the time. When we
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: decide to.
• 7:48
Speaker 3: Get out, we will unequivocally support and continue to support
• 7:52
Speaker 3: international climate research as the foundation of our understanding and work.
• 7:57
Speaker 3: We will also continue to work on international climate cooperation. Trump,
• 8:01
Speaker 3: by the way, who has thrown the full weight of
• 8:03
Speaker 3: his domestic policy behind fossil fuels, has openly scorned speculation
• 8:11
Speaker 3: of human activity that is warming the planet, and the
• 8:14
  Speaker 3: UN has.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: Condemned him for that. Did you already just said? Has
• 8:19
Speaker 1: condemned him for that. Now.
• 8:22
Speaker 3: Trump's administration has also sent no representative the most recent
• 8:26
Speaker 3: UN Climate Summit in Brazil in November, which is held
• 8:29
Speaker 3: every year under the guidance of the United Nations. Now
• 8:33
Speaker 3: Trump is making sure that your tax dollars are no
• 8:36
Speaker 3: longer spent at the discretion of the UN and its
• 8:40
Speaker 3: associated global affiliates or entities. Why because the President said
• 8:45
Speaker 3: no more. Presence memo also directs the United States to
• 8:49
Speaker 3: withdraw from the inter Governmental Panel on Climate Change, the
• 8:54
Speaker 3: UN body responsible for assessing client science, alongside other climate
• 8:58
Speaker 3: related organizations including the International Renewable Energy associ Agency, the
• 9:02
Speaker 3: UN Oceans and UN Water As in his first term,
• 9:05
Speaker 3: Trump is also a draw in the United States from
• 9:08
Speaker 3: the UN e SCO, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural
• 9:13
Speaker 3: organization which Washington had rejoined under of course, Joe Biden.
• 9:18
Speaker 3: Trump has likewise pulled the US out of the World
• 9:21
Speaker 3: Health Organization, sharply reduced for an AID. California governor, by
• 9:25
Speaker 3: the way, Gavin Newsom said the move was made by
• 9:28
Speaker 3: a brainless president who is surrendering America's leadership on the
• 9:32
Speaker 3: world stage and waking our ability to compete in the
• 9:35
Speaker 3: economy of the future, creating a leadership vacuum that he
• 9:38
Speaker 3: now says that China is going to exploit you.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: I mean not kidding you. Literally cannot make this crap up. Now.
• 9:45
Speaker 3: I bring all this to you, and I tell you
• 9:46
Speaker 3: all this because right now you should be extremely proud
• 9:51
Speaker 3: and extremely happy that we have a president United States
• 9:54
Speaker 3: of America that is doing this and not just like
• 9:57
Speaker 3: on a little scale, is right up throwing it down
• 10:02
  Speaker 3: on it.
• 10:02
Speaker 1: He's not waiting. He's not doing it in a very
• 10:06
Speaker 1: in a very quick way.
• 10:08
Speaker 3: Okay, he's not doing it in a like a in
• 10:11
  Speaker 3: a Hey, I'll act like I'm making a difference by
• 10:14
Speaker 3: cutting some stuff, and I'm gonna move on really fast.
• 10:16
Speaker 3: I don't know this this President Donald Trump. He went
• 10:20
Speaker 3: in and said, stop it all. Don't just stop a
• 10:23
Speaker 3: little bit. Just don't don't stop like a token program here, okay,
• 10:28
Speaker 3: or a token program there.
• 10:29
Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, stop it.
• 10:32
Speaker 3: All, stop every bit of it, stop it all, and
• 10:39
Speaker 3: it truly is incredible.
