Speaker 1: The Season with Peter Scheger is a production of the
• 0:09
Speaker 1: NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio. What's Up, Everybody, This is
• 0:24
Speaker 1: Peter Schrager. This is the Season with Peter Schrager, and
• 0:28
Speaker 1: there is a special episode We're clear in the decks.
• 0:31
Speaker 1: This is for you fantasy football heads. I really labored
• 0:34
Speaker 1: on doing a fantasy football podcast episode because I don't
• 0:39
Speaker 1: know the space a little saturated, if you will. Sometimes
• 0:43
Speaker 1: I roll my eyes when I see people on TV
• 0:45
Speaker 1: talking about fantasy football and I know that like, guy
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: it's a no munch, or that guy doesn't know it's
• 0:49
Speaker 1: just reading something from something. But I think there is
• 0:53
Speaker 1: a service to be done because there are a lot
• 0:55
Speaker 1: of you who listen to this podcast who are walking
• 0:57
Speaker 1: into a fantasy football draft this weekend and you don't
• 1:01
Speaker 1: quite feel one hundred ready. We're gonna fine tune it
• 1:04
Speaker 1: a little bit with three guests this week, guys that
• 1:06
Speaker 1: I have grown to really like, and they have a
• 1:08
Speaker 1: podcast of their own. Our guests guys who were put
• 1:13
Speaker 1: together once they started working at The Ringer for Bill Simmons,
• 1:18
Speaker 1: and since then their podcast has taken off. I really
• 1:21
Speaker 1: enjoy listening to them. I don't even really care about
• 1:23
Speaker 1: their football stuff. I love their personalities and their rapport.
• 1:25
Speaker 1: That's what it's all about. With no further ado, the
• 1:28
Speaker 1: gentlemen from the Ringer Fantasy Football Podcast, Danny Heifetz, Danny Kelly,
• 1:34
Speaker 1: and my former producer, Craig Hurlbeck. So our guests this week.
• 1:39
Speaker 1: I have to be honest, I am huge fans of
• 1:41
Speaker 1: their work. I typically I'm not the guy who's listening
• 1:46
Speaker 1: to seven different fantasy football podcasts, but with fantasy drafts
• 1:49
Speaker 1: coming up this weekend, in so many tweets and text
• 1:52
Speaker 1: I'm getting about, oh Fantasy draft time, I thought it
• 1:56
Speaker 1: would be fun to have on my favorite fantasy football
• 1:59
Speaker 1: podcast host. These guys do it three times a week.
• 2:03
Speaker 1: They do it over on The Ringer and I really
• 2:05
Speaker 1: enjoy their poor and also their information.
• 2:08
  Speaker 2: Uh.
• 2:09
Speaker 1: Craig Hrlbeck, Danny Kelly, Danny Hifetz. Theyre the gentleman from
• 2:13
Speaker 1: the Ringer Fantasy Football Show. Gentlemen, Welcome to the season
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: with Peter Schrager.
• 2:18
Speaker 3: Thanks for having us, Shregs. It's great to be back, Shregs.
• 2:21
  Speaker 3: I've missed you.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: Let's explain. Let's explain our history. Craig, So, I really
• 2:27
Speaker 1: love you. I think you're awesome at what you do.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: And now I listen to you not only on this podcast,
• 2:31
Speaker 1: but on you know, the Town podcast where you're always
• 2:35
Speaker 1: giving your your thoughts to Matt Maloney and you're giving
• 2:37
Speaker 1: like a little different generation than him, maybe maybe one
• 2:40
Speaker 1: that's you know, more of the target audience at times,
• 2:43
Speaker 1: but also on the rewatchable like you've blown up quite
• 2:46
Speaker 1: a bit. You got married, you're a fully grown man.
• 2:48
Speaker 1: But you and I we met two years ago at
• 2:51
Speaker 1: the height of the pandemic, and if you want to
• 2:53
Speaker 1: tell the listeners our relationship help blossomed, I'm here to
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: listen as well.
• 2:56
  Speaker 3: Sure. Yeah.
• 2:57
Speaker 4: During the pandemic, we did a show called Flying Coach
• 2:59
Speaker 4: with Me, Shregs and the one and only Sean McVay
• 3:03
Speaker 4: on the Ringer podcast Network. Ten episodes with Sean shreg
• 3:06
Speaker 4: and all the coolest coaches, all their best friends from
• 3:09
Speaker 4: around the league, and it's still up on the Ringer
• 3:11
  Speaker 4: podcast never.
• 3:11
Speaker 3: You can go listen to it right now.
• 3:13
Speaker 4: I highly recommend it, specifically the Shanahan episode. Great episode
• 3:17
  Speaker 4: and Tomlin.
• 3:18
Speaker 1: So good dude. All fly Delta and they have like
• 3:22
Speaker 1: a little section on the Delta and it says podcasts
• 3:24
Speaker 1: and those Flying Coach episodes are sitting there on the
• 3:26
Speaker 1: plane and I'm so proud of them. Yeah, it's crazy.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: The story I love to tell though, is, obviously you
• 3:32
Speaker 1: sent equipment to both me and Sean. I get the equipment,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: set it up, no problem. Here's the NFL's coach of
• 3:37
Speaker 1: the Year. And what had to happen.
• 3:39
Speaker 4: He needed a personal visit for myself to come and
• 3:42
Speaker 4: set his equipment up, which, listen, I was happy to do.
• 3:45
Speaker 4: I was happy to be there and help him out.
• 3:46
Speaker 4: So he wasn't as bad as Pete Carroll.
• 3:49
Speaker 3: Though, So pet Carrol the year before, you need a
• 3:52
Speaker 3: little more savvy than Carroll technologically.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, both will be going at it in the NFC West.
• 3:58
Speaker 1: All right, So your podcast, it's three guys. You talk football,
• 4:03
Speaker 1: but you talk life, You talk all sorts of stuff.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: And I like it because it's not so numbers banging
• 4:08
Speaker 1: you over the head with the term ADP, and it's
• 4:10
Speaker 1: not so much it's more about the lifestyle of playing
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: fantasy football.
• 4:14
Speaker 5: The best compliment we get is people ask us, oh,
• 4:16
Speaker 5: so you guys were friends and they gave you a podcast.
• 4:18
Speaker 5: We actually became friends doing the show, and it's we
• 4:22
Speaker 5: all have like wildly different backgrounds, and I think what's
• 4:25
Speaker 5: different between us and other fantasy shows. It's not better,
• 4:27
Speaker 5: it's not worse. It's like, although fantasy shows are fantasy experts,
• 4:31
Speaker 5: and we all, like none of us really came up
• 4:33
Speaker 5: as fantasy football experts at all, So I think we
• 4:35
Speaker 5: just have different kinds of conversations. The reality is that
• 4:38
Speaker 5: fantasy football is the best way for adult American men
• 4:41
Speaker 5: to stay in touch as they get in their twenties, thirties,
• 4:43
  Speaker 5: forties and beyond.
• 4:44
Speaker 4: Like people, we talked about this all the time. It's
• 4:46
Speaker 4: like our new religion is like it's the way we gather,
• 4:50
Speaker 4: It's the way we.
• 4:51
  Speaker 3: Like hang out.
• 4:52
Speaker 4: Nowadays we all sit in our houses online and stuff
• 4:54
Speaker 4: like that. There's nowhere to like really congregate, and fantasy
• 4:57
Speaker 4: football is the best way to stay in touch with
• 4:58
Speaker 4: people who you don't live there.
• 4:59
Speaker 5: Just people get married, kids, there's and then there's a schedule.
• 5:02
Speaker 5: It's like the games. Everything's at the same time of
• 5:04
Speaker 5: the year. It really is about like it's kind of
• 5:06
Speaker 5: like the kitchen island where friend groups can stay together virtually.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: Yes, it is true, like you know you have that
• 5:13
Speaker 1: calendar and it's like summer you won't talk to these
• 5:15
Speaker 1: people at all, and everyone's on their trips and everyone's
• 5:17
Speaker 1: work and whatever. And then that September first week starts
• 5:20
Speaker 1: and the kickoff goes, and all of a sudden, you're
• 5:22
Speaker 1: on a text chain with the same guys you've been
• 5:23
Speaker 1: on a text chain with for twenty straight years.
• 5:24
Speaker 4: It's like you never left it is, yeah, all right,
• 5:26
Speaker 4: but you guys do.
• 5:27
Speaker 1: Follow it really closely day to day. So I wanted
• 5:30
Speaker 1: to give up some topics for viewers or listeners who
• 5:33
Speaker 1: are tuning in to be like, all right, I got
• 5:35
Speaker 1: my draft this weekend. I'm not necessarily studying, you know,
• 5:39
Speaker 1: every NFL network show and learning what Anthony Richardson's doing
• 5:43
Speaker 1: on a down to down basis, but you guys have
• 5:45
Speaker 1: put the work, and here's what IM gonna do. I'm
• 5:46
Speaker 1: gonna give you some topics and I want answers from
• 5:49
Speaker 1: each of you guys, which are going to service tips
• 5:50
Speaker 1: and clues for my listeners who are doing their drafts
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: this weekend.
• 5:54
  Speaker 5: Are we good?
• 5:55
Speaker 1: Let's get it all right.
• 5:57
  Speaker 3: Let's start off.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: We'll go Danny high Fitz first. Your Fantasy Football sleeper
• 6:02
Speaker 1: of the Year is who.
• 6:05
Speaker 5: Gave Davis for the Bills. It's the most classic. It's
• 6:08
Speaker 5: the class going up, class type sleeper man Gabe Dave. Again,
• 6:13
Speaker 5: he was kind of too hyped up last year, and
• 6:16
Speaker 5: again he was going like a top sixty pick. People
• 6:19
Speaker 5: saw the four touchdown game in the playoffs, thirteen second
• 6:21
Speaker 5: game against the Chiefs, People including us, got a little
• 6:23
Speaker 5: too over hyped. And the reality is didn't have a
• 6:25
Speaker 5: great season, kind of had this nagging I think it
• 6:28
Speaker 5: was groin injury or hamstring early in the season. He
• 6:30
Speaker 5: had one great game against the Steelers as sorry, Craig,
• 6:33
Speaker 5: and then honestly, he was pretty terrible. Here's the thing,
• 6:37
Speaker 5: Gabe Davis is now going outside the top one hundred. Basically,
• 6:40
Speaker 5: nothing has changed. Nothing has changed. He's still huge, he's
• 6:44
Speaker 5: still fast, He's still the deep threat for the Bills.
• 6:46
Speaker 5: The only thing that they've added is Dalton Kincaid, the
• 6:48
Speaker 5: tight end, the first rounder, who, if anything, is gonna
• 6:51
Speaker 5: help Gabe Davis by working underneath. But the reality is
• 6:53
Speaker 5: this is still Josh Allen's deep threat. The only differences
• 6:56
Speaker 5: He's going five to six, maybe seven rounds later. And
• 6:59
Speaker 5: it's exactly the point in your draft where you're pivoting
• 7:01
Speaker 5: from more reliable guys to actually, I want home run threats.
• 7:04
Speaker 5: I'm trying to home run a strikeout when get outside
• 7:06
Speaker 5: the top one hundred and Gabe Davis to me is
• 7:09
Speaker 5: like the definition of people had him last year, We're
• 7:11
Speaker 5: upset and now he's too cheap.
• 7:13
Speaker 1: They hold it against him for the following ers say
• 7:14
Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that again. It used to
• 7:16
Speaker 1: happen with guys who would get injured, Like you draft
• 7:18
Speaker 1: Fred Taylor and you hope draft him in the first round.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: I'm dating you, guys, is before you were born. Remember
• 7:23
Speaker 1: draft Fred Taylor and you're like, he's good, and then
• 7:26
Speaker 1: Freddie would get hurt like week eight, and you're like,
• 7:28
Speaker 1: I'm not doing it again next year, and then you
• 7:31
Speaker 1: hold it against him and it's probably not fair. Danny Kelly,
• 7:33
Speaker 1: your sleeper of the year this year twenty twenty three,
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: is whom.
• 7:36
Speaker 6: I'm calling an audible today just because he was announced
• 7:39
Speaker 6: as this team starter.
• 7:41
Speaker 7: Anthony Richardson, quarterback for the Colts.
• 7:44
Speaker 6: I think, so he's not so much a sleeper in
• 7:47
Speaker 6: like the best ball streets.
• 7:48
Speaker 7: I think a lot the best ball people are kind
• 7:49
Speaker 7: of all over him already.
• 7:50
Speaker 6: But in terms of just day to day you know
• 7:54
Speaker 6: home leagues. I still think he's being really really underrated.
• 7:57
Speaker 6: He brings legitimate, like top five potential at quarterback and
• 8:01
Speaker 6: he doesn't even have to be a good passer. That's
• 8:02
Speaker 6: the beauty of it. Like he could be terrible and
• 8:04
Speaker 6: by the way, he probably is going to be terrible
• 8:06
Speaker 6: as passer this year. If you look at what Justin
• 8:09
Speaker 6: Fields did, he was a top five, top six quarterback
• 8:11
Speaker 6: going down the stretch of the season he was.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: He lost ten games.
• 8:16
Speaker 7: They literally went to like.
• 8:18
Speaker 6: The Navy offense we joke about all the time on
• 8:20
Speaker 6: our show, Like they passed the ball fewer than at
• 8:23
Speaker 6: a lower rate than almost any team in the last
• 8:25
Speaker 6: twenty years. You know, Anthony Richardson could be terrible at
• 8:28
Speaker 6: passing and he could still be, you know, top three,
• 8:30
Speaker 6: top five quarterback just because of the rushing. The way
• 8:33
Speaker 6: that stats are set up in fantasy football, it really
• 8:35
Speaker 6: benefits quarterbacks who run.
• 8:36
Speaker 7: These are the types of guys that are league winners,
• 8:39
Speaker 7: week winners, and league winners.
• 8:40
Speaker 6: So Anthony Richardson, just because he can run, I think
• 8:43
Speaker 6: he's going to be a big time webin for them
• 8:44
Speaker 6: in the red zone, kind of like we' seen Jalen
• 8:46
Speaker 6: Hurts over the last few years. Jalen Hurts double digit
• 8:48
Speaker 6: rushing touchdowns last few seasons. I don't think that Richardson's
• 8:51
Speaker 6: necessarily at Jalen Hurts's level yet clearly, but I think
• 8:55
Speaker 6: they can use him in the red zone, kind of
• 8:56
Speaker 6: like Cam Newton to punch it in.
• 8:58
Speaker 7: I think he's going to score a lot of touchdowns.
• 9:00
Speaker 7: I think he's gonna run a lot, and.
• 9:01
Speaker 6: I think he's going to be one of the best
• 9:02
Speaker 6: late round picks that you can possibly make.
• 9:05
Speaker 1: Love it, Craig, take us sleeper, who you got Johan Dotson,
• 9:09
Speaker 1: the wide receiver and the Commanders second year.
• 9:11
Speaker 3: Guy, first to first.
• 9:13
Speaker 4: People forget, you know, just because he was drafted around
• 9:16
Speaker 4: Jet Wilson, Chris Alave, Jamison Williams, Treylon Burks.
• 9:19
Speaker 3: I bet you if you ask.
• 9:20
Speaker 4: Most people, they would not expect Johan Dotson to be
• 9:22
Speaker 4: a first round pick.
• 9:23
  Speaker 3: Last year.
• 9:23
Speaker 4: He started super hot, four touchdowns four games, and then
• 9:26
Speaker 4: he got hurt, and then he came back and finished strong.
• 9:28
Speaker 4: So his season long stats aren't great, which is what
• 9:30
Speaker 4: people look back on. Most average fantasy players are looking
• 9:33
Speaker 4: back on the season long stats, and they would look
• 9:34
Speaker 4: at Johan Dotson and go, oh yeah, he wasn't as
• 9:36
Speaker 4: good as Terry McLaurin last year, but in reality, the
• 9:39
Speaker 4: final five games of the season, when they were both healthy,
• 9:41
Speaker 4: he was beating McLaurin and all the nerdy stats that
• 9:44
Speaker 4: everybody likes. Your targets per route run, their yards per
• 9:46
Speaker 4: rout run, red zone targets, share, all that stuff. Straight
• 9:49
Speaker 4: up targets he had more than Terry mclauurin in the
• 9:51
Speaker 4: last five games of the season. Now we've got Eric
• 9:54
Speaker 4: bienemy In. I like Sam holland Burssett at least enough
• 9:57
Speaker 4: to make a little bit of a jump, and receivers
• 9:59
Speaker 4: typically make the biggest jomp between year one and year two.
• 10:02
Speaker 4: Dotson's also just an eye test guy. When you watch him,
• 10:04
Speaker 4: you're like, this guy has it and you can get
• 10:06
Speaker 4: him around ninetieth one hundredth in your draft right now.
• 10:09
  Speaker 3: I love Dotson.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: I loved the conversation you guys had on your podcast
• 10:18
Speaker 1: last week, and you did it about guys who might
• 10:21
Speaker 1: be in the twilights of their NFL careers, and because
• 10:25
Speaker 1: people just want the young, fresh, new face, they don't draft,
• 10:29
Speaker 1: but then year after year can still deliver. I'm gonna
• 10:32
Speaker 1: call this the Keenan Allen Award where he's still around,
• 10:35
Speaker 1: he still puts up numbers, and yet you look at
• 10:38
Speaker 1: these top twenty wide receivers, Keenan Allen never in the list,
• 10:40
Speaker 1: whenever year, finishing that high. Why don't we go around
• 10:42
Speaker 1: the horn and you each give one of those names,
• 10:44
Speaker 1: a guy that you know is going to deliver and
• 10:45
Speaker 1: yet probably will not be drafted as high as he should.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: Danny Hidefelz, I guess.
• 10:49
Speaker 5: You, bud, Travis Kelcey doesn't count because he's still a
• 10:51
Speaker 5: first rounder. I do want to shut out that. The
• 10:53
  Speaker 5: only reason.
• 10:53
Speaker 1: Would you take Travis kelce in the first round? Is
• 10:55
Speaker 1: that happening people take on the first round?
• 10:57
Speaker 5: Because here's the thing. Yeah, literally, the only argument against
• 11:00
Speaker 5: Travis kelce literally is that he's thirty four years old
• 11:02
Speaker 5: and people are afraid of him bottoming out. The reality
• 11:05
  Speaker 5: is Travis kelce.
• 11:06
Speaker 3: Age is just a number.
• 11:07
Speaker 4: Guys, look at you, Trager, You were better than conversations.
• 11:12
Speaker 5: Is that when Craig and I were in our mid twenties,
• 11:14
Speaker 5: we hated old, We hated players as the thirty. Now
• 11:16
Speaker 5: Craig and I are almost thirty, and we're like, you know,
• 11:18
Speaker 5: what's fine? Old players. Thirty is just the number.
• 11:21
Speaker 4: But it's like it's like George Clooney turned fifteen and
• 11:24
Speaker 4: he's like, you know what, I'm gonna settle down, Like
• 11:25
Speaker 4: I'm actually okay with marrying somebody over the.
• 11:27
Speaker 1: Interest now is time?
• 11:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, He's like, you know what.
• 11:28
Speaker 5: It's So it's like in my younger days, I was
• 11:30
Speaker 5: pretty terrified to take Derek Kenry or Travis Kelsek because
• 11:33
Speaker 5: I'm like, thirty, My god, he must have like a
• 11:35
Speaker 5: mortgage or something. But uh, like Kelsey like hasn't missed
• 11:40
Speaker 5: the game to injury. He's had he had COVID and
• 11:42
Speaker 5: he had you know, they get benched in week seventeen
• 11:44
Speaker 5: because they're always clinching playoffs.
• 11:46
  Speaker 3: Stop saying it.
• 11:47
Speaker 5: I know, sorry, I'm not gonna win. I gotta Yeah,
• 11:49
Speaker 5: but the Kelsey hasn't missed the game to injury, they're
• 11:52
Speaker 5: not gonna what in a decade. It's like Jamar Chase
• 11:54
Speaker 5: is going ahead of him. He missed it games last year.
• 11:56
Speaker 5: Cooper Cup missed games last year. Like all these all
• 11:59
Speaker 5: the players that are supposedly younger and safer have been
• 12:02
Speaker 5: injured at some point. Kelsey hasn't, So I'm probably giving
• 12:05
Speaker 5: him the kind of her as they would say, but yeah,
• 12:07
Speaker 5: nice to me, Kelsey. It's like buying applestock. It's like,
• 12:11
Speaker 5: this is the safest thing there is.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: I'm here for the Yiddish Danny Kelly. What about you?
• 12:17
Speaker 1: Who's the guy that you know? You see and you're like,
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: come on.
• 12:21
Speaker 7: My guy this year is Dedre Hopkins.
• 12:23
Speaker 1: Really with Tannehill in that offense.
• 12:25
Speaker 6: So I actually like Tannehill. I think I'm the last
• 12:29
  Speaker 6: person on tannehill Island. I think he's solid. I don't
• 12:32
Speaker 6: think he's like great. It was right there and I
• 12:36
Speaker 6: freaking missed it your audio cut out, But yeah, I
• 12:39
  Speaker 6: mean to me, like he's he's really solid. I don't
• 12:41
Speaker 6: think he's like great or anything, but he's still a
• 12:43
Speaker 6: solid veteran. I think he's gonna feed a guy like
• 12:45
Speaker 6: Dedre Hopkins. I think there's a lot of question marks,
• 12:48
Speaker 6: you know, outside of Hopkins in terms of what we're
• 12:50
Speaker 6: gonna expect from this offense.
• 12:51
  Speaker 7: Obviously, Trailing Burks.
• 12:52
Speaker 6: Is there, and he's an up and coming guy, but
• 12:53
Speaker 6: he's still young, still very inexperienced, and and I think
• 12:57
Speaker 6: Hopkins is just gonna get force fed in this offense.
• 13:00
Speaker 6: Last year, this is this was wild to me when
• 13:03
Speaker 6: I found this stat. Last year, in the nine games
• 13:05
Speaker 6: that Hopkins played, he averaged ten point seven targets per game.
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: Really good.
• 13:09
Speaker 6: The only the only player, the only receivers who had
• 13:11
Speaker 6: more targets per game than him are Chase Cup and
• 13:14
Speaker 6: Jefferson like the first like the first four picks, first
• 13:17
Speaker 6: five picks, So you know, he's definitely getting older. But
• 13:22
Speaker 6: his game has never really been built on speed or explosiveness.
• 13:25
Speaker 6: It's always about body positioning. Old man at the Y type,
• 13:28
Speaker 6: you know, post a guy up and skyhook him and
• 13:31
Speaker 6: fundamental that guy's footwork. Yeah, getting get low, low fatality,
• 13:37
Speaker 6: you know, boxing out.
• 13:39
  Speaker 3: So I don't know.
• 13:39
Speaker 7: To me, he's just so good.
• 13:41
Speaker 6: He's I heard Tannehill called him vintage Hopkins the other day,
• 13:46
Speaker 6: and I think he's just going to have a really
• 13:47
Speaker 6: big year. And people are forgeting about him because's a
• 13:49
Speaker 6: little older and he switched teams, which that's valid, But
• 13:52
Speaker 6: I still think he's going to be the focal point
• 13:53
Speaker 6: of this passing game.
• 13:55
Speaker 4: Craig, tell me why Derek Henry is going in the
• 13:57
  Speaker 4: second round.
• 13:57
  Speaker 3: What's changed?
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: Talk about it.
• 13:59
Speaker 3: He had three hundred and.
• 14:00
Speaker 4: Fifty carries last year, played the entire season, was the
• 14:03
Speaker 4: third best running back in Fantasy.
• 14:05
Speaker 3: And everyone's just like, I'm good. He's twenty eight.
• 14:07
Speaker 4: No thanks, Like Leodocaprio when a girl turns twenty six,
• 14:10
  Speaker 4: he's like, I'm out, give me a reason why there's
• 14:14
  Speaker 4: nothing's changed.
• 14:15
Speaker 3: He's still Dereck Henry.
• 14:17
Speaker 4: We're all obsessed with this idea now that as running
• 14:19
Speaker 4: backs enter their late twenties, they just, you know, I
• 14:23
  Speaker 4: think it's a misnomer.
• 14:24
Speaker 3: Essentially, we're betting on science, you know, we're.
• 14:27
Speaker 4: Betting on these phenomenal athletes preparing their bodies and actually
• 14:31
Speaker 4: taking advantage of the technological advance. And we have now,
• 14:34
Speaker 4: and Dereck Henry is twenty eight years old. And if
• 14:36
Speaker 4: I'm going to bet on anybody to actually make it
• 14:38
Speaker 4: to their thirties and not fall off, I'm gonna pick
• 14:40
Speaker 4: the guy who gets three hundred and fifty carries every
• 14:42
Speaker 4: single year and continues to be a top five running
• 14:44
Speaker 4: back of Fantasy. And he's just sitting there in the
• 14:45
Speaker 4: second round now because he's old. It's age shaming, really,
• 14:49
  Speaker 4: fourteen ages, fourteenth.
• 14:51
Speaker 1: Round starts rolling around, and it is now you can
• 14:53
Speaker 1: take a little you already took a kicker. You already
• 14:54
Speaker 1: tick your defense, you got maybe two more picks left
• 14:56
Speaker 1: to go, and you want to take a rookie. I'm
• 14:58
Speaker 1: gonna go around the horn. Craig will start with you
• 15:00
Speaker 1: give me a rookie that might still be around then
• 15:02
Speaker 1: that you're looking at. Maybe he's not the first or
• 15:05
Speaker 1: second overall pick, but it's a guy that you've got
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: your eye on.
• 15:08
  Speaker 4: Interesting a rookie, can I go with? I think I
• 15:12
Speaker 4: want to go with the tight end position here. I like,
• 15:14
Speaker 4: I like, yeah, I like two guys. I like Luke Musgrave,
• 15:17
Speaker 4: and I like uh yep, And I like Jake Ferguson,
• 15:20
Speaker 4: Michael Mayer, Yeah yeah, Ferguson out of Okay and Ferguson, Oh,
• 15:24
Speaker 4: Ferguson second year guy, Musgrave rookie.
• 15:26
Speaker 3: I'll stick with you with mus.
• 15:27
Speaker 1: Grave Ferguson's Cowboys, right he was second year guy?
• 15:29
Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, sticking with Muskrave. Then, uh.
• 15:32
Speaker 4: When when you're getting a rookie tight end, they don't
• 15:33
Speaker 4: typically work out. But what I like about Musgrave is,
• 15:36
Speaker 4: unlike a lot of other tight ends, he's just playing receiver.
• 15:38
Speaker 4: He doesn't have to learn the blocking half of the
• 15:39
Speaker 4: of the of the offense. And I like guys much
• 15:42
Speaker 4: like a Dalton Kincaid. We're gonna be split out and
• 15:44
Speaker 4: are going to be running routes. And if you look
• 15:46
Speaker 4: at the Green Bay offense, I mean it's an entirely new,
• 15:49
Speaker 4: young offense. There's not a lot of established guys. You
• 15:51
Speaker 4: got Christian Watson, Romeo Dobbs, and you got Musgrave. So
• 15:55
Speaker 4: if you're gonna take a shot, if you believe in
• 15:56
Speaker 4: Jordan Love, who's looked great this offseason, offseason and in
• 15:59
Speaker 4: the preseason, uh, Musgrave is a guy who could kind
• 16:01
Speaker 4: of sneaky start his rookie year hot, kind of like
• 16:04
Speaker 4: a Pat Friar move.
• 16:05
Speaker 1: Okay, who you got rookie?
• 16:07
Speaker 3: He got your eyes.
• 16:08
Speaker 6: Oh man, there's so many of them. I could just
• 16:09
Speaker 6: go down the list. I'm going to shout out a
• 16:12
Speaker 6: guy who's kind of gotten. People are not super excited
• 16:15
Speaker 6: about him based on what happened in preseason Week one,
• 16:18
Speaker 6: and that's Devon a Chain for the Dolphins because he
• 16:21
Speaker 6: was playing he was like fourth or fifth on the
• 16:24
Speaker 6: depth chart. In this game, he's playing into the fourth quarter.
• 16:26
Speaker 6: Typically these are not great signs for rookie running backs.
• 16:29
Speaker 6: But I will say, if you watch the games like
• 16:32
Speaker 6: I did, like here a huge sicco and you watch
• 16:35
Speaker 6: that game, he was running vertical routes. He caught four
• 16:39
Speaker 6: passes for forty one yards. He actually led the Dolphins
• 16:41
Speaker 6: in receiving this game. He caught a passed out of
• 16:44
Speaker 6: the backfield up the like up the sideline for a
• 16:46
Speaker 6: chunk gain. He caught a like a Texas route over
• 16:49
Speaker 6: the middle of the field for like a ten yard gain.
• 16:51
Speaker 6: He was being used in exactly the type of way
• 16:53
Speaker 6: we want him to be used, which is vertical pass
• 16:57
Speaker 6: catching role. And obviously, like Miles Gaskin's still there, they
• 17:00
Speaker 6: still got Raheem Moster, Jeff Wilson.
• 17:03
Speaker 7: He's got some hurdles to clear.
• 17:04
Speaker 1: I think they don't have Dalvin Cook, which is a
• 17:06
Speaker 1: good sign. They must have liked what they had in house.
• 17:08
Speaker 6: I was a little nervous that Dalvin Cook was going
• 17:10
Speaker 6: to come in and ruin my dreams. But even though
• 17:12
Speaker 6: he was playing with like the fifth stringers into the
• 17:15
Speaker 6: fourth quarter, I'm sticking with it. Devon ah Chain midway
• 17:19
Speaker 6: through the year, I think he's going to start being
• 17:21
Speaker 6: really really useful for them. And again he's being used
• 17:24
Speaker 6: in the way that you want him to be used.
• 17:25
Speaker 6: Which is as a pass catcher except Colladega speed baby,
• 17:28
Speaker 6: So I just yeah, hot, nasty, badass speed and that's
• 17:33
  Speaker 6: what he's got.
• 17:33
Speaker 7: So I just love this offense too.
• 17:35
Speaker 1: It sounds so good coming out of your mouth, Danny,
• 17:37
Speaker 1: what about you, my friend?
• 17:38
Speaker 5: There's a rookie. I really love Jordan Addison, the rookie
• 17:42
Speaker 5: receiver for the Vikings. I think that he has not
• 17:45
Speaker 5: been going as high. He's basically like a top one
• 17:48
Speaker 5: hundred player depending where you look, depending on the platform
• 17:50
Speaker 5: or website, use eightieth, one hundredth, one hundred and fifth,
• 17:54
  Speaker 5: seventy fifth. It's a huge range. But I think he's
• 17:56
Speaker 5: really underrated because I think as a pure regular NFL
• 18:00
  Speaker 5: prospect he's undersized. I get all that he's he's not
• 18:03
Speaker 5: a prototypical number one receiver. I think think he's being
• 18:06
Speaker 5: unfairly dinged for that in fantasy because Jordan Adison is
• 18:10
Speaker 5: the perfect compliment to Justin Jefferson. It reminds me a
• 18:14
Speaker 5: little bit of when Juju Smith Schuster had an incredible
• 18:19
Speaker 5: rookie season behind Antonio Brown Calvin Ridley. I remember Julio
• 18:23
Speaker 5: Jones was incredible for the Falcons, but he couldn't score touchdowns.
• 18:25
Speaker 5: Calvin really comes in as a Rooie as like five
• 18:27
Speaker 5: touchdowns in like five games by Julio Jones. I feel
• 18:30
Speaker 5: that Jordan Addison will have that type of impact disproportionate
• 18:34
Speaker 5: to his skill level because he's refined, he's a precise
• 18:37
Speaker 5: route runner, He's polished in a way that makes up
• 18:40
Speaker 5: for his lack of physical gifts. That will basically pay
• 18:42
Speaker 5: dividends immediately, and I think he's gonna soak. I mean,
• 18:46
Speaker 5: Adam Thielen, no offense to the guy was a little
• 18:48
Speaker 5: dusty last year, and I think Addison's going to come
• 18:51
Speaker 5: in and just vacuum up behind Justin Jefferson. It's kind
• 18:54
Speaker 5: of no, it's it's just an incredibly massive opportunity to
• 18:59
Speaker 5: be around this guy. He's always doubled and I think
• 19:00
Speaker 5: he's gonna just eat.
• 19:02
Speaker 3: It's built for him.
• 19:03
Speaker 7: Did you see his catch the other day?
• 19:06
Speaker 6: He had like a touch catch. They didn't even review it.
• 19:11
Speaker 6: They called him out, they didn't even review it, but
• 19:13
Speaker 6: he made the most incredible catch that just it's the preseason.
• 19:16
Speaker 6: That doesn't counts, it doesn't matter, but whatever it was,
• 19:18
Speaker 6: it was an amazing catch.
• 19:19
Speaker 5: Speaking of preseason, you ask how being a fantasy expert works.
• 19:22
Speaker 5: Here's how it works, college statistics, preseason plays. If they
• 19:27
Speaker 5: confirm what you already believe, they're very important and representative.
• 19:31
Speaker 5: And if they don't, if they go against what you
• 19:33
Speaker 5: already think, then they're meaningless. And Jordan Adison had sixteen
• 19:36
Speaker 5: hundred yards in college two years ago and won the
• 19:39
Speaker 5: Best Receiver in College Football award and then had that catch.
• 19:42
Speaker 5: So there, I must already be right.
• 19:45
Speaker 1: I'm gonna give all the Zay Flowers might be the
• 19:47
Speaker 1: best wide receiver out of this bunch. It might do it.
• 19:49
Speaker 1: I don't know if he gonna put up the best numbers,
• 19:50
Speaker 1: and I don't know how this helps for fantasy. What
• 19:52
Speaker 1: I'm learning from Zay Flowers is that he's unguardable because
• 19:55
Speaker 1: of his footwork and speed, and he might just be
• 19:57
Speaker 1: drawing a lot of pass interference calls. Honestly, that's what
• 20:00
Speaker 1: I'm telling. So, like, if you're expecting one hundred catches,
• 20:02
Speaker 1: that might not be it, but he will be a
• 20:04
Speaker 1: huge function of the Ravens offense. And I think I
• 20:06
Speaker 1: see a lot of people drafting him really high. I
• 20:08
Speaker 1: don't know if his numbers are going to be high.
• 20:10
Speaker 1: I just know he's going to be a pain in
• 20:11
Speaker 1: the ass to cover. And that's like one of those
• 20:13
Speaker 1: things in fantasy where here's the arbitrage where yes, he
• 20:16
Speaker 1: might be our offensive rookie of the year, but no,
• 20:18
Speaker 1: his numbers might not be as crazy as Justin Jeffersons
• 20:21
  Speaker 1: or Jamar Chase's.
• 20:23
Speaker 7: I like that one too. He's so good.
• 20:25
Speaker 6: There's a reason a lot of people were comparing him
• 20:27
Speaker 6: to like Antonio Brown when you're when you're watching the tape,
• 20:29
Speaker 6: like his feet are so fast, his route running so
• 20:33
Speaker 6: sudden and twitchy. I agree with you, though, like I
• 20:36
Speaker 6: don't know exactly what his role is going to be
• 20:37
Speaker 6: like in that Ravens offense. We don't even know what
• 20:40
Speaker 6: this Raven's offense is really don't know what it looks
• 20:42
Speaker 6: like at all. So there's there's a lot of variants
• 20:44
Speaker 6: put potential there. But yeah, he's a really good player,
• 20:47
  Speaker 6: all right.
• 20:47
Speaker 1: Strategy wise, say I'm doing my fantasy draft. I know
• 20:51
Speaker 1: which players are good, but every year it's different. Some
• 20:54
Speaker 1: year it's like you have to get those two running
• 20:55
Speaker 1: backs early because there's a big drop off. Some years
• 20:58
Speaker 1: it's you need the wide receiver one because after the
• 21:01
Speaker 1: first few of them it's a drop off. Craig, I
• 21:03
Speaker 1: know you've been studying the grids and the cheat sheets.
• 21:07
Speaker 1: What's the strategy this year is in the first round,
• 21:09
Speaker 1: is it important to get what? And when you do
• 21:12
Speaker 1: that snake draft? What are you trying to come out
• 21:14
Speaker 1: of here? Because I know there's a drop off at
• 21:15
Speaker 1: each position at some point.
• 21:17
Speaker 4: So if you're playing in a league with one quarterback,
• 21:19
Speaker 4: what we kind of like to do this year is
• 21:22
Speaker 4: basically get an elite player from every single position group.
• 21:25
Speaker 4: This year is a really unique year because running backs
• 21:27
Speaker 4: are kind of going late, quarterbacks are hotter than ever,
• 21:30
Speaker 4: and then you have Travis Kelcey, who's just miles away
• 21:33
Speaker 4: from every other tight end. So we kind of suggest
• 21:35
Speaker 4: is get one from each position. Start your draft with
• 21:37
Speaker 4: the Travis kelce then move on get an elite running
• 21:40
Speaker 4: back like a Dereck Henry. Third round, you can get
• 21:42
Speaker 4: yourself an elite quarterback like Jalen Hurts or Patrick Mahomes,
• 21:45
Speaker 4: and then you can still get a great receiver. If
• 21:47
Speaker 4: you can start your draft with four players four different positions,
• 21:49
Speaker 4: like a DeAndre Hopkins DKs guy. You could start your
• 21:52
Speaker 4: draft with Travis Kelcey, Dereck Henry Patrick, Mahomes, and DeAndre Hopkins.
• 21:57
Speaker 4: You get four Hall of Famers in four rounds, as
• 21:59
Speaker 4: long as you're not an age bias guy like all
• 22:01
Speaker 4: those out there. But I kind of like mixing it
• 22:03
Speaker 4: up spreading the wealth this year specifically, can't you agree?
• 22:07
  Speaker 3: Oh?
• 22:07
Speaker 7: Yeah, totally. I really like this year's second round running backs.
• 22:11
Speaker 6: So I personally believe grabbing a guy like Kelsey or
• 22:14
Speaker 6: one of the elite receivers in round one and then
• 22:16
Speaker 6: getting a Pollard or Josh Jacobs in round two. I
• 22:18
Speaker 6: think Jacobs has fallen because there's some uncertainty about whether
• 22:21
Speaker 6: he's going to play.
• 22:23
Speaker 7: I think at the end of the day he's probably
• 22:24
  Speaker 7: gonna play.
• 22:24
Speaker 3: It'll be that so I think.
• 22:26
Speaker 7: But Tony Pollard to me, is.
• 22:27
Speaker 6: Like my favorite second round pick right now. I just
• 22:29
Speaker 6: think he has through the roof potential. He's such a
• 22:32
Speaker 6: good player, so explosive, and they're gonna use him in
• 22:35
Speaker 6: the right way. He was already, you know, such an
• 22:38
Speaker 6: elite producer last year when they had Zeken tout, and
• 22:41
Speaker 6: now it's his his offense and his his backfield. So
• 22:44
Speaker 6: to me, Tony Pollard is sort of a lynchpin guy
• 22:46
Speaker 6: that I just really like in that second round.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: So in the second round, Danny, what about you?
• 22:49
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I agree with Danny Kelly where it's
• 22:52
Speaker 5: kind of flipped. I feel like you used to take
• 22:53
Speaker 5: your top running back in the first round and then
• 22:55
Speaker 5: you get a great receiver in the second. Now it's
• 22:57
Speaker 5: basically you can pretty much get an elite receiver in
• 22:59
Speaker 5: the first round. You come back around Tony Pollard, Josh Jacobs,
• 23:02
Speaker 5: Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, baby Sake one those guys used
• 23:04
Speaker 5: to go in the first It's kind of like the
• 23:06
Speaker 5: top twenty top twenty four, but now just the receivers
• 23:09
Speaker 5: and running backs have flipped spots. That's like the simplest
• 23:11
Speaker 5: way to explain it.
• 23:12
Speaker 4: Because everybody realized that wide receivers exactly. You know, running
• 23:15
Speaker 4: backs get hurt all the time, and you can you know,
• 23:17
Speaker 4: you can depend right time. Justin Jefferson, your Tyree Kills,
• 23:20
Speaker 4: your Jamar Chase is like, if you if you don't
• 23:22
Speaker 4: want to lose your draft in the first round, you
• 23:24
Speaker 4: take a wide receiver because you know, by the end
• 23:25
Speaker 4: of the year, odds are one of the guys you
• 23:27
Speaker 4: draft in the top five is probably gonna finish in
• 23:28
  Speaker 4: the top five.
• 23:29
Speaker 1: Yeah. And what about quarterbacks. I know you said that
• 23:31
Speaker 1: you want elite, Like, is it crazy to take Josh
• 23:34
Speaker 1: Allen or Jalen Hurts in the first round this year?
• 23:37
Speaker 5: First? Yeah, second, first round. We start our rank you
• 23:41
Speaker 5: have Fantasy Football doc threear dot com. We have our rankings.
• 23:43
Speaker 5: We have a top two hundred of upsides downsts for
• 23:45
  Speaker 5: every player.
• 23:46
  Speaker 7: Uh.
• 23:47
Speaker 5: And the bottom line and all these guys basically is
• 23:49
Speaker 5: we have our quarterbacks right around the third round. Basically
• 23:51
Speaker 5: we've got basically a couple dozen truly special players. It's
• 23:55
Speaker 5: Travis Kelcey and a bunch of running backs, receivers, and
• 23:57
Speaker 5: then at that point, as Craig said, locking those quarterbacks
• 24:01
Speaker 5: where you're basically getting an elite floor. Jalen Hurts eighteen
• 24:05
Speaker 5: rushing touchdowns in eighteen games last year, included the playoffs.
• 24:08
Speaker 5: The floor, not just the ceiling, is crazy. Josh Allen
• 24:11
Speaker 5: the running you know, he could lead the league in
• 24:13
Speaker 5: rushing touchdowns or receiving or passing touchdowns. And Mahomes is
• 24:16
Speaker 5: Mahomes And I think that at that point, elite floors
• 24:19
Speaker 5: in the first few rounds, and then after that you're
• 24:21
Speaker 5: chasing elite ceilings. So if you miss out on Mahomes, Hurts, Allen,
• 24:26
Speaker 5: Justin Fields, Lamar Jackson in this new offense is an
• 24:29
Speaker 5: elite ceiling. Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert. Those guys have truly
• 24:32
Speaker 5: elite potential. And I think that if you're stacking that
• 24:34
Speaker 5: at quarterback, Darren Waller has an elite ceiling at tight end,
• 24:38
Speaker 5: and I think that's you know, Scott Barrett has done
• 24:40
Speaker 5: great stuff at a great website called Fantasy Points, where
• 24:42
Speaker 5: elite ceilings win you your league, they win weeks, they win leagues.
• 24:45
Speaker 5: And I think elite floors in the first three rounds
• 24:48
Speaker 5: and then next making up where you didn't get it
• 24:51
  Speaker 5: with elite ceilings.
• 24:52
Speaker 1: Where are you guys at d Kale started? Where are
• 24:55
Speaker 1: you guys at with Kyle Pitts? I think everyone took
• 24:56
Speaker 1: him in the first round or second round last year
• 24:58
Speaker 1: and now like it's almost like, yeah, you wouldn't be
• 25:00
Speaker 1: able to touch them, you know, it's like how could you?
• 25:03
Speaker 6: I think at least for Craig and I think we
• 25:06
Speaker 6: kind of hate him at this point, like nothing that
• 25:08
Speaker 6: he's actually done personally that is his fault.
• 25:11
  Speaker 3: It's just is.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: Someone else's problem. You have them.
• 25:13
Speaker 7: I don't exactly. I'm just like washing my hands of
• 25:16
  Speaker 7: that toxic.
• 25:17
Speaker 3: Relationship that I don't want to be a part of it.
• 25:19
  Speaker 6: I just don't want to have to deal. I don't
• 25:20
Speaker 6: want to have to think about him anymore. He might
• 25:22
Speaker 6: be the best tight end in the NFL.
• 25:24
Speaker 1: Gotch Like I hope it for him, I don't.
• 25:27
Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's one of the best, one of
• 25:30
  Speaker 5: the best parts.
• 25:31
Speaker 6: I'm unfriend I'm like unfriending him on Facebook so I
• 25:34
Speaker 6: don't have to look at his feet.
• 25:35
Speaker 5: You know this is like, yeah, you mentioned Facebook, I
• 25:37
Speaker 5: got it. You know well, I think one of the
• 25:39
Speaker 5: best most charming aspects of our, of the three of
• 25:41
Speaker 5: us dynamic, is that DK, in his older wisdom, now
• 25:44
Speaker 5: that he's in his forties, doesn't have the energy, doesn't
• 25:47
Speaker 5: allow toxic people in his life, and doesn't Michael Thomas.
• 25:51
Speaker 5: You know, Kyle fits people who just are kind of
• 25:54
Speaker 5: a drain on your energy. DK, just like I don't,
• 25:56
  Speaker 5: I can't. I don't time for you anymore.
• 25:58
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, quickly, I'm gonna go around you guys,
• 26:04
Speaker 1: tell me yay or na. I'm gonna mention some things
• 26:06
Speaker 1: about fantasy football. I'm gonna put you on the spot
• 26:09
Speaker 1: Craig will start with you auction draft yay or nay? Yay,
• 26:15
Speaker 1: you gotta do it, explain, make the case for why
• 26:17
Speaker 1: someone should just scrap the old snake draft. That takes
• 26:20
Speaker 1: one minute and is you know, easy enough to do
• 26:22
Speaker 1: to go to the auction thing which seems unbearable.
• 26:25
Speaker 4: Let's say Justin Jefferson's your favorite player in fantasy football,
• 26:28
Speaker 4: and then you're eagerly awaiting what draft pick you're going
• 26:30
Speaker 4: to get. You're praying you get the first or second pick,
• 26:32
Speaker 4: and then the hat, the name gets drawn out of
• 26:34
Speaker 4: the hat and you have the tenth that terrible feeling
• 26:36
Speaker 4: of well, I guess I want to have Justin Jefferson
• 26:38
Speaker 4: this year. That doesn't happen. In an auction draft. You
• 26:40
Speaker 4: can spend your money on any player you want. You
• 26:41
Speaker 4: can get Justin Jefferson and Christian mcaffor you want. It's
• 26:44
Speaker 4: a lot more flexibility every single every single pick you
• 26:47
  Speaker 4: are involved in.
• 26:48
Speaker 3: I love it, okay, DK.
• 26:50
Speaker 1: Individual defensive players are we yay or nay?
• 26:55
Speaker 7: I've been a nay on that one.
• 26:57
Speaker 6: I just it's hard enough, like keeping track of all
• 27:00
  Speaker 6: offensive players.
• 27:01
Speaker 7: I don't know, like adding all that.
• 27:02
Speaker 6: To to the to the plate is a bit much
• 27:04
Speaker 6: for me. I just I don't track it enough and
• 27:06
Speaker 6: I've ever really done it. I'm an old I'm an
• 27:08
Speaker 6: old guy. Can't teach me new tricks.
• 27:09
  Speaker 7: I don't really know.
• 27:10
Speaker 3: I'm not into Danny.
• 27:11
Speaker 1: Two quarterback leagues where there's two quarterbacks starting in yay.
• 27:14
Speaker 5: Or nay, I'm totally in. At the end of the day,
• 27:17
Speaker 5: It's very, very silly to me that in real life
• 27:20
Speaker 5: running backs can't get paid, and like, you know, Jonathan
• 27:23
Speaker 5: Taylor isn't getting a contract, Will Jim er Say's trying
• 27:25
Speaker 5: to fly in Orca to see world for twenty million dollars.
• 27:27
Speaker 5: But in fantasy we have running back like ten twelve
• 27:30
Speaker 5: running backs come off the board for Patrick Mahomes And
• 27:32
Speaker 5: at two quarterback league, you know the first Pixar Patrick Mahomes,
• 27:35
Speaker 5: Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts. That's real life. So I like
• 27:37
  Speaker 5: two quarterback leagues.
• 27:38
Speaker 1: I love that. Craig ten team leagues, Yeah or nay.
• 27:43
Speaker 1: It seems very light.
• 27:45
Speaker 4: That's as light as well go. Eight is ridiculous. Ten
• 27:48
Speaker 4: is where I draw the line. Ten is okay, twelve
• 27:50
Speaker 4: is ideal, fourteen is fine, sixteen is too.
• 27:52
Speaker 1: Big, okay, DK non PPR leagues where we don't keep
• 27:58
  Speaker 1: track of receptions.
• 28:00
Speaker 3: We just do yards.
• 28:02
Speaker 6: Strongly against Yeah, archaics totally here.
• 28:08
Speaker 3: All right, if you're into that, I hate.
• 28:10
  Speaker 5: You, Danny.
• 28:10
Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you one that my league that is
• 28:13
Speaker 1: a bit of part of for twenty three years. We
• 28:15
Speaker 1: don't do flex. We don't believe in it. We think
• 28:17
Speaker 1: it's silly. There's no such thing flex, Danny hiex flex position,
• 28:21
Speaker 1: which seems like such a bailout. Yeah, r nay.
• 28:24
Speaker 5: I love no flex.
• 28:25
Speaker 3: We leading the witness.
• 28:27
  Speaker 1: What is flex?
• 28:29
  Speaker 6: I love it.
• 28:29
Speaker 5: It's the dumbest This is a great take. It's like,
• 28:33
Speaker 5: be decisive. Who are you?
• 28:34
Speaker 3: Never know what flex would be good for?
• 28:36
Speaker 5: Flex should be like the four players who are like
• 28:38
Speaker 5: quarter old Patterson can plain in the flex. That's it.
• 28:40
  Speaker 3: Sure, the actual.
• 28:44
Speaker 1: Patterson, Taysom Hill, and Jamier Gibbs can be flex. I
• 28:47
Speaker 1: hate the flex. I never heard of the flex until
• 28:50
Speaker 1: like I came on a Good Morning Football and I
• 28:51
Speaker 1: come on hearing the word flex. But what the heck
• 28:53
Speaker 1: is flex? They're like, well, it could be any position.
• 28:55
  Speaker 1: It's take a wildcard, Like, well, that's not real. It's
• 28:58
  Speaker 1: the dumbest thing.
• 28:59
Speaker 7: I love this flex, all right.
• 29:00
Speaker 1: Team defenses counting, Craig, Yeah, your nay, I go back
• 29:05
  Speaker 1: and forth.
• 29:06
Speaker 3: I'm fine with it.
• 29:07
Speaker 4: I prefer a team defense over a kicker, So if
• 29:09
Speaker 4: I had to choose, I'd take the defense.
• 29:11
Speaker 1: Fun the route for a defense, Okay, DK, I'll ask
• 29:14
Speaker 1: you counting every little thing, like a two point conversion
• 29:17
Speaker 1: has a metric, or a batted down pass has a metric.
• 29:21
Speaker 1: Like at some point there's got to be a limited the.
• 29:24
Speaker 3: Forty yard completion bones, Yes, I hate that.
• 29:27
Speaker 1: Yes, sorry, I'm judging.
• 29:28
Speaker 7: I was going to bring that up.
• 29:29
Speaker 6: No, I was gonna say the like you get a
• 29:31
Speaker 6: bonus for having one hundred yards. This is I've played
• 29:34
Speaker 6: in a few leagues where like a running back, if you.
• 29:35
Speaker 7: Gets one hundred yards gets a bonus. I think there's a.
• 29:38
Speaker 6: Time and a place for it for my home league,
• 29:40
Speaker 6: for like most of my leagues, I don't really want that.
• 29:42
Speaker 6: I do think it's fun to like sprinkle that in
• 29:44
Speaker 6: every once in a while if you're like in a
• 29:45
Speaker 6: tournament or something like that. But generally speaking, I like
• 29:49
Speaker 6: pretty standard scoring setting that DK.
• 29:52
Speaker 4: How many of your twenty three leagues are do you
• 29:54
Speaker 4: use the one hundred yard.
• 29:55
Speaker 6: Bonus probably none, right now, Okay, I would say I'm
• 30:00
Speaker 6: open to it in like one or two leagues, just
• 30:02
  Speaker 6: because to.
• 30:03
Speaker 7: Mix it up and make it fun.
• 30:04
Speaker 1: All right, DK, I'm gonna go back on that one
• 30:07
Speaker 1: with you. I just heard twenty three leagues. I know
• 30:09
  Speaker 1: it's being sarcastic.
• 30:11
Speaker 5: He actually is in twenty three weeks.
• 30:13
Speaker 3: Actually he's in twenty two.
• 30:14
Speaker 5: Pandemics like Sanity Project was just drafting Dynasty Fantasy not fun.
• 30:19
  Speaker 1: It's not fun.
• 30:21
Speaker 5: It's fully talking about it.
• 30:23
Speaker 1: Fun about that, And the whole point of it is
• 30:25
Speaker 1: you have a player in the league I found, and
• 30:28
Speaker 1: you're rooting against every player in the league.
• 30:30
Speaker 6: But yeah, I mean I have so many I have
• 30:32
Speaker 6: so many players on my teams that I'm like.
• 30:34
Speaker 1: But in your head, which team is which? I feel
• 30:36
Speaker 1: like I wouldn't know who to root for.
• 30:39
Speaker 6: No, So you just I will say, here's the qualifier.
• 30:42
Speaker 6: Here's the qualifier. Ninety five for cent of my teams
• 30:45
Speaker 6: are dynasty leagues. So it's not day to day stuff
• 30:49
Speaker 6: that you're doing. There's not a bunch of guys in
• 30:50
Speaker 6: the waiver wire. Typically it's like you draft a team
• 30:53
Speaker 6: and you develop it over years, but you're not It's
• 30:55
Speaker 6: not like I'm spending a lot of time on this roster.
• 30:58
Speaker 7: Can I day out you know what I mean?
• 30:59
Speaker 4: Can I unveil a hot take on you guys right now?
• 31:01
  Speaker 1: Yes?
• 31:03
Speaker 3: I'm out on dynasty leagues? Me too, Boom.
• 31:07
Speaker 4: You know what the best part about fantasy football is
• 31:09
  Speaker 4: the draft.
• 31:10
Speaker 6: Craig, You're in my dynasty league and time on it.
• 31:13
  Speaker 3: He's playing it.
• 31:14
Speaker 1: He doesn't like it.
• 31:15
  Speaker 3: Oh cool?
• 31:16
Speaker 4: I get to draft a fourth round run with you.
• 31:20
Speaker 1: I get this question all the time. Should I keep
• 31:21
Speaker 1: two out of these seven players? I don't know? Draft
• 31:23
  Speaker 1: a new team. I don't like it.
• 31:25
Speaker 3: Draft a new team.
• 31:26
Speaker 4: I don't want to be parsing through six round rookies
• 31:28
Speaker 4: to figure out who has value.
• 31:29
Speaker 3: That sounds terrible. You know. I want to draft Patrick Mahomes.
• 31:32
Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you.
• 31:33
Speaker 3: That's fun, Danny, Danny high Fetz.
• 31:37
Speaker 1: People who draft in person versus people who draft online,
• 31:42
Speaker 1: and the rift there of the arrogance and I'm an
• 31:44
Speaker 1: on person guy, of those who roll their eyes at
• 31:46
Speaker 1: those who are in a Yahoo Yahoo draft room and
• 31:48
Speaker 1: consider that a fantasy league go on?
• 31:50
  Speaker 7: All right?
• 31:51
Speaker 5: So this is this gets to what we were saying
• 31:53
Speaker 5: earlier about like fantasy football is about keeping in touch
• 31:56
Speaker 5: with your friends people different places. Obviously can't control that.
• 31:59
Speaker 5: You always want to draft in person if you can.
• 32:01
Speaker 5: If it's your friend group, you want to be in person.
• 32:04
Speaker 5: It's incredible. At the very least, though, you have to
• 32:05
Speaker 5: show up for the dre You can't auto draft. Got
• 32:08
Speaker 5: auto draft? Is it? Look? If you have children, you
• 32:11
Speaker 5: too understand. It's better than me. We can talk wedding.
• 32:14
Speaker 5: Otherwise it's weddings and funerals. Or you better be there,
• 32:17
  Speaker 5: even even.
• 32:18
Speaker 1: If it's on zoom. That's okay. You just can't auto draft.
• 32:21
  Speaker 1: That's unaccepted. It's un America, I think.
• 32:23
  Speaker 3: Correct.
• 32:23
Speaker 1: No, the hardest part of any league, and you know
• 32:27
Speaker 1: now we're just going off because I got so many thoughts.
• 32:29
Speaker 1: The hardest part of any any league is finding a
• 32:32
Speaker 1: draft time that works for everyone. If you get one
• 32:35
Speaker 1: of those Google doodles going and everyone you come up
• 32:37
  Speaker 1: with one time, I don't care if it's five o'clock
• 32:39
Speaker 1: on a Wednesday, you better not the day of say
• 32:42
  Speaker 1: I just can't make it. That's unacceptable.
• 32:44
  Speaker 5: You're out.
• 32:44
Speaker 1: You're out. We will find a replacement.
• 32:46
Speaker 4: The two people can also pay your league dues before
• 32:49
Speaker 4: the draft. If you're a commissioner of a league, require
• 32:51
Speaker 4: everyone to pay their league dues or they can not trist.
• 32:53
Speaker 1: Is that a thing people pay the league? Do you
• 32:55
Speaker 1: get to chase them down for the for the vendors.
• 32:57
Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta go hire like a fixer. I gotta
• 33:00
Speaker 4: go hire Ray Donovan to go get the money from
• 33:01
  Speaker 4: this guy.
• 33:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, there's always one of them.
• 33:05
Speaker 5: There are two people I hate in a fantasy league.
• 33:08
Speaker 5: I feel like Austin Powers and I'm like, there's two
• 33:10
Speaker 5: kinds of people I hate in this world. Yeah, but
• 33:12
Speaker 5: what the people who don't fill out that doodle, as
• 33:15
Speaker 5: you were saying, and then at the end, once like
• 33:17
Speaker 5: nine people can make it, you're like, oh, that day
• 33:19
Speaker 5: doesn't work for me. My mother's visiting, And I'm like, dude,
• 33:22
Speaker 5: that's what we made the doodle for. The Other one
• 33:24
Speaker 5: is the people who think that they get to veto
• 33:27
Speaker 5: other people's trades just grinds my gears. Like in real life,
• 33:31
  Speaker 5: where I don't know if you've noticed, there's a lot
• 33:33
Speaker 5: more stakes to the real life sports leagues. There's been
• 33:36
Speaker 5: one vetoed trade in our lifetime, and it was the
• 33:39
Speaker 5: Chris Paul trade because the NBA owned the league. Office
• 33:42
Speaker 5: owned the team and they were like, all right, this
• 33:44
Speaker 5: is weird. Literally, like thousands of real life trades have
• 33:47
Speaker 5: been made. They all go through this is America. You
• 33:50
Speaker 5: have the right to be stupid and make dumb decisions.
• 33:52
Speaker 5: It's not your job to run other people's stuff it.
• 33:54
Speaker 1: I love it real quick. There's a whole craze in
• 33:58
Speaker 1: the last ten years of like punishments and making it
• 34:01
Speaker 1: go viral. And this guy ate a waffle every day,
• 34:04
Speaker 1: every hour for twenty four hours. This guy I had
• 34:06
Speaker 1: to poop in a sandwich and eat it and we
• 34:08
Speaker 1: all laughed and we put it on YouTube too. Sophomore
• 34:12
Speaker 1: silly or you guys all for this craig, We'll start with.
• 34:15
Speaker 4: You if you're coming to me.
• 34:17
Speaker 3: It's definitely not too sophomore. I don't know how other
• 34:21
Speaker 3: people feel, but I'm all for it.
• 34:23
Speaker 4: In our league right now, are the current rule is
• 34:25
Speaker 4: we have the loser on the trip next year. He's
• 34:28
Speaker 4: our butler and he has to wear a outfit hell
• 34:32
Speaker 4: the whole weekend. He like serves us food and he
• 34:35
Speaker 4: gets the worst bed. And I'm all for it, you know.
• 34:38
Speaker 4: And we've actually employed a last place tournament at the
• 34:40
Speaker 4: end of the year for all the guys whose teams
• 34:42
Speaker 4: suck in like weeks twelve through seventeen, we have a
• 34:44
Speaker 4: last place tournament to determine who gets last. So I
• 34:47
Speaker 4: think last place is just as fun and as first
• 34:49
Speaker 4: place in terms of end of year suspense.
• 34:52
Speaker 1: DK, what's the craziest thing you've heard in that regard?
• 34:55
Speaker 1: I mean they come up every year, they're more and more.
• 34:58
Speaker 6: Man there's I had a couple of friends who under
• 35:02
Speaker 6: their leagues, they're like punishment for last place was yet
• 35:06
Speaker 6: the to go like be a busker on like a
• 35:08
Speaker 6: sidewalk and like play music and and try and get
• 35:12
Speaker 6: tips and things like like what's a busker is like
• 35:16
Speaker 6: when you're like you're on the corner, like playing like
• 35:18
Speaker 6: music and like try to make.
• 35:19
Speaker 3: Money that way. The open guitar, I want to.
• 35:27
Speaker 6: I want to tell you one great I want to
• 35:29
Speaker 6: tell you one great rule that we have in in
• 35:30
Speaker 6: one of my leagues is if you get a zero
• 35:33
Speaker 6: in any of your spots in any given week, you
• 35:37
  Speaker 6: like a player.
• 35:38
Speaker 1: Like a guy got to help change your lineup?
• 35:41
Speaker 6: Yeah, goose egg. Yeah you have to shot. You have
• 35:44
Speaker 6: to record yourself shotgunning a beer and send it to
• 35:47
Speaker 6: the rest of the league, and that I think is
• 35:49
Speaker 6: one of the more fun rules.
• 35:50
Speaker 7: That I have in any of my links.
• 35:52
Speaker 1: Like it, Danny yourself, the craziest thing you've.
• 35:55
Speaker 5: Heard, there's some I mean the craziest stuff is there
• 35:57
Speaker 5: are people who there are leagues that you have to
• 35:59
Speaker 5: get it to too. I mean, that's crazy that. That
• 36:01
Speaker 5: to me is the wildest, the wildest one we do.
• 36:03
Speaker 5: The one that I think works the best, and even
• 36:06
Speaker 5: as you get is our league gets a beer mile
• 36:08
Speaker 5: because we Thanksgiving, there's always a We do a flag
• 36:11
Speaker 5: football game on Black Friday. And it's funny because as
• 36:14
Speaker 5: everyone gets older, the game gets earlier and people show
• 36:16
Speaker 5: up with more knee braces and everyone's stretching more and
• 36:18
Speaker 5: more of a year. But then at the end, thy brother, yes, wait,
• 36:21
Speaker 5: at the end of the game, though, we do the
• 36:23
Speaker 5: beer mile, which is great because there's like me who's
• 36:25
Speaker 5: not the most fleet to foot, but I can drink
• 36:27
Speaker 5: a beer versus like this guy who ran a four
• 36:29
Speaker 5: and a half minute mile in college but like can't
• 36:31
Speaker 5: chug and like, all right, this is actually even now.
• 36:34
  Speaker 1: That's good.
• 36:35
  Speaker 3: I like that.
• 36:36
Speaker 1: Craig correct me if I'm wrong. Bill Simmons is league
• 36:38
Speaker 1: and they always talk about the Shakey's League. Yeah, the
• 36:43
Speaker 1: winner gets to vote off any person in the league
• 36:46
Speaker 1: and they have to miss a year. Right, I think
• 36:47
  Speaker 1: that's pretty drastic.
• 36:49
Speaker 5: This is the funniest one.
• 36:50
  Speaker 4: Yes, so it's a twelve it's a twelve team league,
• 36:52
Speaker 4: but there's but there's thirteen members and every year, thirteen
• 36:56
Speaker 4: people have to show up to the draft and the
• 36:58
Speaker 4: previous year's winner then sits down like a dictator and
• 37:01
Speaker 4: goes you you're out, and they have to get up
• 37:04
Speaker 4: and leave the draft.
• 37:05
Speaker 1: I'm not kidding. I guess it was during the pandemic
• 37:07
Speaker 1: and I was listening to Simmons a lot, like twenty
• 37:09
Speaker 1: twenty maybe twenty twenty one, and I think there was
• 37:12
Speaker 1: real friction between him and Sal over it. It felt like,
• 37:14
Speaker 1: oh there was salout and Sal was very angry.
• 37:19
  Speaker 3: Bill.
• 37:19
Speaker 4: Well, when Bill got voted out one year, he started
• 37:21
  Speaker 4: a new league.
• 37:22
  Speaker 3: Bill was.
• 37:27
Speaker 5: I'm not just saying this because you know, we worked
• 37:29
Speaker 5: for Bill Simmons. I think I actually think Sal must
• 37:32
Speaker 5: have come up with that. I think that is the
• 37:34
Speaker 5: that is the rule that I actually think it is
• 37:36
Speaker 5: the best. It is incredible, it's.
• 37:38
Speaker 1: So good, and they, yeah, that's great. All right, guys,
• 37:41
Speaker 1: we're wrapping. Uh, fantasy football is on the way. Where
• 37:46
Speaker 1: can we find the podcast? And what is it called?
• 37:49
Speaker 1: Craig for everyone who listens to this one and wants
• 37:51
Speaker 1: their hardcore football news but had a draft this weekend
• 37:53
Speaker 1: and is like, wait a second, my pants are not
• 37:55
Speaker 1: ready for this. I need to get ready. Where would
• 37:58
Speaker 1: you go for it?
• 37:59
  Speaker 3: Yeah?
• 37:59
Speaker 4: Sure, the show is called The Ringer Fantasy Football Show.
• 38:01
Speaker 4: It's anywhere you can find podcast. We prefer Spotify. There's
• 38:04
Speaker 4: a lot of fun features on there. You can look
• 38:07
Speaker 4: at our guide while you listen. But yeah, The Ringer
• 38:09
Speaker 4: Fantasy Football Show with us three three days a week
• 38:11
Speaker 4: and four days a week during the season.
• 38:13
Speaker 1: I wish you guys well for Danny Hifetz, Danny Kelly,
• 38:16
Speaker 1: Craig horlback, guys, this is awesome. We really appreciate you
• 38:18
Speaker 1: coming on. This is great.
• 38:19
Speaker 7: Thanks Pete, love you, Shregs.
• 38:20
Speaker 3: Thanks for having us.
• 38:21
  Speaker 1: I love those guys. I think they're cool, they're funny,
• 38:24
Speaker 1: and they've got a great friendship that you can tell.
• 38:26
Speaker 1: And that's the key to any show or podcast, And
• 38:29
Speaker 1: obviously fantasy football is the thread that keeps them all
• 38:32
Speaker 1: together and going with the pod. But Their podcast talks
• 38:34
Speaker 1: about all different sorts of topics, including movies. Aaron, I'm
• 38:38
Speaker 1: going to tell you in nineteen ninety nine, I was
• 38:44
Speaker 1: in a fantasy football league with my friends from high
• 38:47
Speaker 1: school at the time, and I signed after week one
• 38:51
Speaker 1: a gentleman named Kurt Warner, and I went on to
• 38:56
Speaker 1: have a team that had Kurt Warner. Isaac Bruce, I
• 38:59
Speaker 1: think I had Terrell Owens on that team. And I
• 39:02
Speaker 1: tore up my fantasy league and ran away with a victory.
• 39:06
Speaker 1: And I will tell you that is still one of
• 39:09
Speaker 1: my greatest achievements, the amount of points that my team
• 39:12
Speaker 1: won by in the East Coast Stream Team league back
• 39:15
Speaker 1: in nineteen ninety nine with all my buddies from Freehill
• 39:17
Speaker 1: Township High School. That is the importance of fantasy football.
• 39:22
Speaker 1: It brings you back to nineteen ninety nine and we're
• 39:24
Speaker 1: here in twenty twenty three. That's me. Do you have
• 39:28
Speaker 1: a fantasy league, Aaron. Wan Kaufman, my producer who I know,
• 39:31
Speaker 1: has a lot of interest and it's very eclectic. Does
• 39:33
Speaker 1: fantasy football fill in the ven diagram shaded area of
• 39:37
  Speaker 1: you and me?
• 39:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, very much so. I actually got into fantasy same
• 39:42
Speaker 2: thing with a bunch of friends from high school, middle school.
• 39:45
Speaker 2: Then also like the same year when I was starting,
• 39:48
Speaker 2: that one also started two others.
• 39:50
Speaker 1: So I had like three leagues.
• 39:52
Speaker 2: In my very first year of playing Fantasy. And my
• 39:57
Speaker 2: favorite part, like the guys were saying like you were saying,
• 39:59
Speaker 2: is just keeping in touch with friends and like sending emails.
• 40:02
Speaker 2: And we have won my league with like the high
• 40:05
Speaker 2: school school friends, the four of us that are like
• 40:09
Speaker 2: the tightest one of the guys has still not won,
• 40:12
Speaker 2: even though he's the one who's.
• 40:14
Speaker 1: This is like fifteen years you guys have been in
• 40:15
  Speaker 1: this right.
• 40:16
Speaker 2: It is yes, yep, and it is just a I
• 40:19
Speaker 2: just I never let him forget it. It's always just
• 40:21
Speaker 2: like in the chat, I'm like, oh wait, isn't there
• 40:23
Speaker 2: someone here who's never won our league. I forget which
• 40:26
Speaker 2: one of us it is.
• 40:28
Speaker 1: I do have strong takes, as you could hear, like
• 40:30
Speaker 1: I really resent the auto draft thing. I think that's real,
• 40:34
Speaker 1: Like if you can't give me two seconds of your time,
• 40:36
Speaker 1: then you don't belong in our league. I actually look
• 40:39
Speaker 1: in my whole life, I was in one league. I
• 40:42
Speaker 1: hate the idea that people don't get together, and I
• 40:44
Speaker 1: know that's selfish. And now that I've got a family,
• 40:46
Speaker 1: it's nearly impossible, like on the weekend. But like, I
• 40:48
Speaker 1: hate these leagues that it's just random people that you
• 40:51
Speaker 1: don't know, and Danny said he has. When Danny said
• 40:53
Speaker 1: he's in twenty three leagues, I almost wanted to like
• 40:55
Speaker 1: chop my hand off. That was the crazy, like that
• 40:57
Speaker 1: is not fun. That sounds like hell.
• 40:59
Speaker 2: I have decreased the number that I've been in and
• 41:02
Speaker 2: especially like the more that I've worked with NFL all stuff,
• 41:07
Speaker 2: the less I want to be in those leagues because
• 41:09
Speaker 2: it's just it, it is too much to keep track
• 41:11
Speaker 2: of and like you were saying, at some point, you
• 41:14
Speaker 2: are rooting for every player and against every player, and
• 41:17
Speaker 2: it's like I need I need Jonathan Taylor Discord, but
• 41:20
Speaker 2: not more than sixteen, but he can't do more than seventeen. Yeah,
• 41:24
Speaker 2: it's it's wild. But yeah, the I've been really lucky
• 41:28
Speaker 2: that you know, we've had a couple of drafts that
• 41:30
Speaker 2: have been in person. But I have I have one
• 41:32
Speaker 2: friend who's a doctor and he one time he did
• 41:35
Speaker 2: a draft, like hope, so during that run in and out, yeah,
• 41:40
Speaker 2: not during surgery, but he was like on call and
• 41:43
Speaker 2: would like run in and out of the like doctor
• 41:47
Speaker 2: rest area that they have. I don't even know what
• 41:48
Speaker 2: it's called, but he was like in the hospital doing
• 41:51
  Speaker 2: the draft.
• 41:51
  Speaker 1: I also it's a I think it's like it's like
• 41:55
  Speaker 1: I don't give a about anyone else's fantasy league either.
• 41:58
Speaker 1: Like when someone comes up to me and starts talking
• 42:00
Speaker 1: to me about their team, I you, there is nothing
• 42:02
Speaker 1: I'd rather talk about mathematics or like the future of algebra.
• 42:07
  Speaker 1: I don't care. I know it sounds rude. I do
• 42:10
Speaker 1: not care, and it's the question I get the most.
• 42:13
Speaker 1: If I'm ever recognized on the street or in an airport,
• 42:16
Speaker 1: someone will shove their phone in my face and they'll
• 42:18
Speaker 1: be like, who would you start this week? And I'm like,
• 42:20
  Speaker 1: I don't care, don't care, and I'm really rude. Sometimes
• 42:23
Speaker 1: on Twitter or someone will be like Shrag's PPR league
• 42:26
Speaker 1: twelve teams flex and I just right back, don't care,
• 42:29
  Speaker 1: don't care. I don't I don't care, And that's my
• 42:32
  Speaker 1: take on that.
• 42:33
Speaker 2: I'll be sure to text you during one of my
• 42:35
Speaker 2: drafts and ask you, I mean, tregger, I got I
• 42:37
Speaker 2: got a twelve front's sleeper for me here. I do
• 42:41
Speaker 2: care about my friend's leagues or my friend's team. If
• 42:44
Speaker 2: it's I'm in the league too, then I care because
• 42:47
Speaker 2: I wanted to do poor.
• 42:48
Speaker 1: The best is when you know you're in a live
• 42:50
Speaker 1: draft with your friends and there's one guy, and again
• 42:52
Speaker 1: not an advocate of bullying, but there's one guy that
• 42:55
Speaker 1: no matter who he takes, everyone will go eh, and
• 42:58
Speaker 1: it's like no, no, no, no, no, like it just constantly. Yeah,
• 43:01
Speaker 1: that's it, Aaron, Good luck in your fantasy drafts. I
• 43:05
Speaker 1: think we time this. I think they're going to be
• 43:07
Speaker 1: this weekend, next weekend, and then of course up until
• 43:09
Speaker 1: Labor Day weekend. But with preseason and full swing, now
• 43:12
Speaker 1: is the time the rare fantasy football podcast. We went there,
• 43:16
Speaker 1: I chartered those waters, and I'll tell you what I
• 43:18
Speaker 1: think we survived. Thanks for joining, buddy, Have a good weekend.
• 43:22
Speaker 1: Let's go all right on behalf of Aaron and all
