- 1:13Speaker 5: On the beautiful side of this, of course, Jason, as
- 1:15Speaker 5: there's only two months with the spring left. Yes, two
- 1:18Speaker 5: months ago. So by the end of the next eight weeks, mate,
- 1:21Speaker 5: you'll be pretty, you'll be loving. I know this is
- 1:23Speaker 5: a very disruptive, windy, rainy, terrible season, but just two
- 1:28Speaker 5: months ago.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Yeah, man, that's true.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Isn't there just one month to go?
- 1:31Speaker 5: No, it's ends December twenty first, Oh, like actual spring,
- 1:35Speaker 5: actual springs.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Okay, how you going, Kezy? Yeah, I'm all right.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I had a couple of weird sleeps in Aro, a
- 1:45Speaker 1: whole lot of big weekends, and I think it's starting
- 1:46Speaker 1: to catch up with me. Yes, I think old Keesy
- 1:48Speaker 1: needs a quiet weekend at home. Yeah, which I'll be
- 1:51Speaker 1: doing this weekend, feelers. But tell you what, it's good
- 1:53Speaker 1: to be here with you guys.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Avocado oil, a bit of massage, but I love making,
- 1:57Speaker 4: watching some sort of art co tectual program maybe that
- 2:01Speaker 4: sort of thing. Just chilling out, eating some me you know,
- 2:05Speaker 4: burgers and maybe a ham and pineapple pizza sort of thing.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Why isn't always avocado oil specifically, Well.
- 2:12Speaker 4: It's just a very dense and rich oil for love making.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Yeah, right, because we use oil and love making. How
- 2:18Speaker 1: you going though, Jason?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Good? Thank you.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I can't complain as Mogi said, the sun is out,
- 2:22Speaker 4: you know, I mean it'll be gone in two minutes.
- 2:24Speaker 4: But hey, hey, Mogi, what's on the show today?
- 2:28Speaker 3: Mate?
- 2:32Speaker 1: What's happening on the big show with old Mogi.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Well, of course there's another opportunity to get in the
- 2:38Speaker 5: drawer for our diamonds on Richmond Engagement Ring giveaway.
- 2:42Speaker 3: How good.
- 2:42Speaker 5: The whole world's going crazy for this, Keysy. It's a
- 2:44Speaker 5: shame you can't get involved as well, mate, But those
- 2:47Speaker 5: are the rules, okay, married man. Also, we've got you
- 2:51Speaker 5: would have heard it on Breakfast Ready this morning. The
- 2:53Speaker 5: boys Mania and Jerry were talking about it. There's this
- 2:56Speaker 5: toy that they've found. It lives in New Zealand. Of
- 2:59Speaker 5: course native to New Zealand. It speaks English.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Now it doesn't just say English words, which we something else.
- 3:06Speaker 5: The headline said, this bird speaks English. So we'll be
- 3:11Speaker 5: hogging into a bit of that. Listen to that, Mad
- 3:13Speaker 5: Barstard say a few things. And next up Old Kesey
- 3:16Speaker 5: over here, he's got to yearn about his missus. He
- 3:20Speaker 5: wants to compare how awesome his missus is to the
- 3:22Speaker 5: rest of New Zealand's missusses.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Is that about it man, I guess kind of like that.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Yeah, here's Green Day the whole Key Big Show weekdays
- 3:33Speaker 7: from four on radio.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Hold Ike radio Head. There on the radio, hold Arky
- 3:37Speaker 4: Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. But we have breaking news.
- 3:45Speaker 1: This is breaking news.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I was going to deal with yet about my wife,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but some breaking news has just come across my desk.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Fell As, if you don't mind, Yeah, you've got to
- 3:54Speaker 1: go to the breaking news. Geezy, that's the thing that
- 3:56Speaker 1: is important stuff. Yes, So over in the States, the
- 3:59Speaker 1: mississipp region, to be specific, I pp I if you
- 4:05Speaker 1: ariberg avoucher just like that beautiful in the Mississippi region.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Over in the States, there a truck carrying research monkeys
- 4:15Speaker 1: from a science lab crashed and all the monkeys escaped,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and they are considered highly aggressive and must be handled
- 4:23Speaker 1: with PPE, which is that protective equipment.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Now, apparently they don't have any sort of infectious pathogens
- 4:31Speaker 1: or anything like that, but they are forty pounds approximately
- 4:34Speaker 1: each in size, and they also all have COVID herpies
- 4:38Speaker 1: and hepsey right, yeah.
- 4:39Speaker 4: You and you add to that they can rip your
- 4:41Speaker 4: face off given the opportunity.
- 4:43Speaker 5: I've been more worried about the herpes. Yeah, oh look,
- 4:46Speaker 5: I've already got that. I mean, what's it going to do?
- 4:48Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing, Jesse, I was thinking we could
- 4:50Speaker 1: almost send you over there, because you've got those three
- 4:52Speaker 1: right now again, herpes, COVID and hipsy.
- 4:56Speaker 4: No, no, hipsy that's gone.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, damn it.
- 4:59Speaker 1: But apparently they've they've managed to round up all the
- 5:02Speaker 1: straight monkeys.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Yes, okay monkeys.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Why are some of them gay?
- 5:09Speaker 5: How many of them are?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Doesn't say here how many? But they managed to round
- 5:17Speaker 1: every single monkey up and unfortunately euthanize them except for
- 5:20Speaker 1: one monkey has escaped, the one driving. He's currently on
- 5:24Speaker 1: the loose. I think he was the one that was
- 5:28Speaker 1: did the breakout, cause the crash and swerved his car
- 5:31Speaker 1: into the back of the truck. All the other monkeys
- 5:33Speaker 1: then escaped, and then that one bloody high tailed it
- 5:36Speaker 1: out of their bad apple.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you've got to get the ring leader.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yes, well, they got to get you've got to get
- 5:41Speaker 4: the chief monkey.
- 5:42Speaker 5: They got all of them except for one, though, Can
- 5:45Speaker 5: I just clarify he's probably going to happen, Jason, You'll
- 5:48Speaker 5: know this. He's probably going to try and disguise himself
- 5:52Speaker 5: and sort of just get get into civilian life and
- 5:56Speaker 5: lay low for a while. Oh yeah, he's probably going
- 5:59Speaker 5: to get a job. Where was this Mississimssissippi. He's going
- 6:02Speaker 5: to get on the Mississippi River there and the head elsewhere,
- 6:05Speaker 5: and then you might find he's got a job on
- 6:06Speaker 5: the railroad something like that, rolling on the river.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I could be rolling on the river.
- 6:11Speaker 5: But yeah, the masters have disguised the monkeys.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Can I ask in terms of because you said they've
- 6:17Speaker 4: been euthanized the ones that they've caught, Yeah, were they
- 6:20Speaker 4: in the truck to take them to be euthanized? Why
- 6:22Speaker 4: couldn't they just euthanize them where they were already.
- 6:24Speaker 1: No, they weren't taking them to some sort of monkey
- 6:27Speaker 1: euthanasia plant. They were just transporting the monkeys, obviously from
- 6:31Speaker 1: one science lab to another. And then the truck crashed
- 6:34Speaker 1: because one monkey was driving a car and tun it
- 6:37Speaker 1: in orchestrala like this heist monkey heist. Yes, And then
- 6:40Speaker 1: as a result, they were all on the loose, so
- 6:42Speaker 1: they had no option but to euthanize them, because that's
- 6:44Speaker 1: so aggressive towards humans.
- 6:45Speaker 4: What's the car that crashed into the truck. Yeah, driven
- 6:49Speaker 4: by a monkey.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It was driven by two monkeys. And this is a thing.
- 6:52Speaker 5: There's a distraction technique because a lot of you might
- 6:55Speaker 5: not know this. Monkeys are bloody good horse riders. I'm
- 6:59Speaker 5: seeing a monkey once that was riding bareback on a
- 7:02Speaker 5: horse and had a machine gun in either arms and
- 7:05Speaker 5: jumped through a wall of flames while gag.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, well yeah, yeah, no.
- 7:10Speaker 3: It was real.
- 7:11Speaker 1: It wasn't ai.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Oh no, it was real.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Oh wow, think about a monkey in the trees. They're
- 7:17Speaker 4: pretty coordinated basards, so it doesn't surprise me. They can
- 7:20Speaker 4: go bare back, you know, no worries at all. Bob's
- 7:22Speaker 4: your uncle.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how they got the herpes. Oh really going.
- 7:34Speaker 2: There's Nevada.
- 7:38Speaker 7: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Hold a Queen There on the radio Hold Donkey Big
- 7:47Speaker 4: Show this Wednesday afternoon. A few people asking for a
- 7:50Speaker 4: score up that in the cricket England currently won sixty
- 7:53Speaker 4: one for seven.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Whatever is that?
- 7:55Speaker 4: Magi the thirtieth thirty first so New Zealand on top of.
- 7:59Speaker 1: The moment bloody stuff. Jason also an update on the
- 8:02Speaker 1: monkey still at large, so if you do see it
- 8:04Speaker 1: three four eight three, give us a text. Fellows over
- 8:06Speaker 1: the weekend on the Saturday night had the winning on
- 8:09Speaker 1: Friday down in christ Church. That was a reasonable one,
- 8:12Speaker 1: but things wrapped up at about one am, and then
- 8:14Speaker 1: on the following day, the day after was an all
- 8:16Speaker 1: day affair at the pub, followed by going back to
- 8:19Speaker 1: someone's house the fellers from the Winning Grove of about
- 8:21Speaker 1: fifteen of us, same fellows that were on the Staggy
- 8:25Speaker 1: and then having quite a large one. And at one
- 8:28Speaker 1: thirty am I opened my phone and checked to see
- 8:31Speaker 1: where my wife was online and the old messenger at
- 8:35Speaker 1: oh yeah, since she was active, so I just sent
- 8:38Speaker 1: a thumbs up emoji and then she said what you doing?
- 8:42Speaker 1: And then I said was just thinking of leaving? Why
- 8:45Speaker 1: what are you doing? And she's like, oh, I'm in bed.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I was like, oh yeah, yeah, And I was like, well,
- 8:52Speaker 1: you don't want to come pick me up? Do you?
- 8:54Speaker 3: Oh?
- 8:54Speaker 1: And now she was They lived way out in the
- 8:57Speaker 1: wap so it was a half an hour drive at
- 8:59Speaker 1: around two am to come and pick me up. Unbelievably,
- 9:03Speaker 1: she said yes, and when I I'm outside, when I
- 9:07Speaker 1: came out, I had two wasted dudes with me, and
- 9:10Speaker 1: I was like, do you draw all these fellows off
- 9:12Speaker 1: on the way back? So it was a shambles R.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I was taking the purse and she was too credit
- 9:18Speaker 1: not super pissed off. She was just a bit like, men,
- 9:20Speaker 1: you are annoying. I was just like that, that's not normal,
- 9:22Speaker 1: is it. No, there's something wrong with her. Yeah, there is. Cool.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Here's the chilies, like. You wouldn't do that for your partner, Jason,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I would.
- 9:33Speaker 4: But in terms of who doing it for me, I
- 9:35Speaker 4: wouldn't even bother asking.
- 9:37Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not that I wouldn't bother asking, because I
- 9:40Speaker 5: bet if I did, then she probably would. But I
- 9:42Speaker 5: would I would never even consider, yeah, exactly, dragging my
- 9:47Speaker 5: wife out of bed for such a You know you
- 9:50Speaker 5: got to look at you. A man should standing on
- 9:52Speaker 5: his own two feet. That's what you always told me, Jase. Yes,
- 9:55Speaker 5: And you know, I just think that's shocking example.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I mean to be fear full cudos to your wife,
- 10:03Speaker 4: and my wife actually would do the same.
- 10:06Speaker 1: She'd put me up.
- 10:07Speaker 4: No, she certainly wouldn't pick you up, right, Okay, she
- 10:10Speaker 4: knows all about the midnight steamers. She'd be worried about
- 10:14Speaker 4: an accident in the car. But anyway, that's why I
- 10:19Speaker 4: say I wouldn't dare even.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Ask no, aw right, I mean, can you scared of
- 10:23Speaker 1: your wife?
- 10:23Speaker 4: Can you imagine being you know, fast to sleep in
- 10:26Speaker 4: your cocoon of the bed there and your painful husband going.
- 10:30Speaker 2: A bitter busy day.
- 10:34Speaker 1: That's not how I did. I messaged it, and she,
- 10:36Speaker 1: to her credit, said yes, I just I guess I'm
- 10:38Speaker 1: not scared of my wife. You know, I'll float it
- 10:40Speaker 1: with it.
- 10:40Speaker 5: It's not for me. It's no better of being scared
- 10:42Speaker 5: of the response. It's my thing is I'm out here
- 10:45Speaker 5: drinking booze, you know, acting like an absolute animal. My
- 10:50Speaker 5: wife shouldn't be punished for my bed behavior. She can
- 10:53Speaker 5: just sleep. I'll go home, yes, sweet runner.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah, cool, cool, cool. Well, I'm interested to know listeners
- 11:00Speaker 1: how they feel about it. If your partner text you
- 11:02Speaker 1: at two am, would you drive half an hour to
- 11:04Speaker 1: pick them up? Good question, that's steamed. Give us text
- 11:07Speaker 1: three four eight three yourself a fifty dollars reburg about
- 11:10Speaker 1: You can also call us on.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Great stuff kezy, because I'm thinking too that you would
- 11:15Speaker 4: have had a snore on too when you got home,
- 11:17Speaker 4: so she probably would have got up at two in
- 11:18Speaker 4: the morning, picked you up, spent an hour getting you
- 11:21Speaker 4: back home again, and the old keasy chainsword and kicked
- 11:25Speaker 4: into place as soon as you hit the sack.
- 11:27Speaker 1: One hundred percent that's exactly what happened. Pretty sure. I
- 11:30Speaker 1: ripping asks quite a bit as well, was great.
- 11:32Speaker 7: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Four on Radio holarcky Oasis there on the Radio Hodarchy
- 11:41Speaker 4: Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. The score is one hundred
- 11:45Speaker 4: and sixty five for nine, So the black Caps dominating
- 11:49Speaker 4: at the moment and the English looking like they're on
- 11:52Speaker 4: the verge of total collapse. So good after winning the
- 11:55Speaker 4: first match, so that's good stuff, felt hey fellas.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Yeah, obviously we went to fee Gee. We are going
- 12:00Speaker 5: to stop banging on about it. I want to promise
- 12:02Speaker 5: you that. But one of the things that I've been
- 12:03Speaker 5: absolutely in a date inundated with on the Instagram is
- 12:08Speaker 5: people asking.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Me did Hoidy j get on the darts?
- 12:13Speaker 2: Now?
- 12:13Speaker 5: You've been battling the cigarettes chase for ni on, you know,
- 12:16Speaker 5: thirty nine years, completely on and off, on and off.
- 12:20Speaker 5: You've been on the vakee for about the last six months.
- 12:22Speaker 5: I'd say roundabout yeah.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Hanging off the back of it too, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:27Speaker 5: You're concerned about is going away on a boys trip
- 12:29Speaker 5: and me being over there smoking darts, and that therefore
- 12:32Speaker 5: being you risking going back onto the cigarettes. Now to
- 12:36Speaker 5: paint a little bit of a picture, I got into
- 12:39Speaker 5: Judy three there and I quickly found out that you
- 12:41Speaker 5: can take a carton in. You can take a carton
- 12:44Speaker 5: into Fiji, and like New Zealand, it's one packet of
- 12:46Speaker 5: Ciggi's that's you a lot.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Now, I was over there for ten days, I think
- 12:50Speaker 5: nine or ten days. I went a bit overboard. I
- 12:53Speaker 5: ended up buying six packs, which is one hundred and
- 12:57Speaker 5: twenty darts. It seems like I started walking out there's
- 13:00Speaker 5: too many. But then I thought, it's all good, Jose,
- 13:03Speaker 5: you'll get through, get through most of these. You get
- 13:05Speaker 5: half these parsons and have no doubt. And I guess, yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 5: we'll let's hear it from the man himself. How'd you go?
- 13:11Speaker 1: Mate?
- 13:12Speaker 5: How's the wheelpairer on Old hodges Bot?
- 13:15Speaker 4: Well, you know, Fellow's first and foremost. I didn't even
- 13:18Speaker 4: look at you d free because there was a temption,
- 13:22Speaker 4: temptation there, you know, to get the cheap darries. Because
- 13:25Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys know this, but I
- 13:29Speaker 4: went to Vietnam this year and speaking of darries, they
- 13:32Speaker 4: are cheapest chaps over there. It's like two bucks a pack.
- 13:38Speaker 4: And I certainly take your point Mogi that you know,
- 13:43Speaker 4: when they're really cheap, it's very easy to get through there,
- 13:46Speaker 4: you know. And I noticed too that that old pugsn there,
- 13:49Speaker 4: he he was hammering the bastards, wasn't he was? He
- 13:53Speaker 4: did six in a row. I think I an old
- 13:56Speaker 4: kezy even Oh Keysy was there and he was.
- 14:02Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 14:03Speaker 4: And I think it boy, I look this put it
- 14:06Speaker 4: this way, Fellers, I may as well have smoked the
- 14:09Speaker 4: amount you fellers were smoking and all the smoking around.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Can I just say too, Because there was one night
- 14:14Speaker 1: in particular where Mogi started doing the Kramer trying to
- 14:18Speaker 1: drink a cocktail whilst having a dart at your mouth,
- 14:21Speaker 1: And then I wanted to have a go at there,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and then Pugs wanted to have a go to it
- 14:24Speaker 1: as well, and that sort of started, and it was
- 14:26Speaker 1: all happening all around you wasn't it. Yes? And to
- 14:30Speaker 1: be honest, Jace, when I came and visit you the
- 14:33Speaker 1: next morning, I thought I smelt cigarette on you.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Yeah, did you?
- 14:38Speaker 1: I'm not even lying. I thought I smelt cigarette on you.
- 14:42Speaker 4: That that actually doesn't surprise me the amount that you
- 14:45Speaker 4: Fellers were punking. I mean, the thing about cigarette smoke
- 14:50Speaker 4: is that really permeates the clothes, does it?
- 14:53Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 14:54Speaker 4: So you could be hanging out with a group of
- 14:55Speaker 4: smokers as I was, and it just soaks into the
- 15:00Speaker 4: those those linens and pants and things like that.
- 15:04Speaker 5: So yeah, I'm not surprised you felt that way. Easy,
- 15:07Speaker 5: So let's just starts the question. Then, did you smoke
- 15:10Speaker 5: cigarettes while you're in Fiji?
- 15:12Speaker 1: Or even one cigarette?
- 15:13Speaker 4: Well, let's look fellers. Fellers, Oh my god, very clear here.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I may as well have.
- 15:23Speaker 1: But did you?
- 15:24Speaker 4: I may as well? You?
- 15:27Speaker 5: You're a shocking.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Was it in the morning?
- 15:31Speaker 5: In the morning there you stolen off of Moyi there
- 15:33Speaker 5: and you have them with a coffee, didn't you?
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yes, You're a shocking.
- 15:43Speaker 7: The Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Four on Radio Darky.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Guns Roses There on the Radio Hanarchy Big Show This
- 15:53Speaker 4: Wednesday afternoon England all out for one seventy five fels
- 15:57Speaker 4: so pretty straightforward chase. It would think I would think, yea, was.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That on the TV?
- 16:02Speaker 4: It was on the TV? Yeah, yeah, what's on the
- 16:06Speaker 4: Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Yes, I watched for a show a movie on Netflix
- 16:24Speaker 5: called House of Dynamite House House of Dynamite and directed
- 16:29Speaker 5: by Catherine Bigelow who won the Academy Award.
- 16:32Speaker 1: For hurt Locker. Oh European Gigglow. And it's about a warhead.
- 16:41Speaker 5: A nuclear war head has launched from the Pacific and
- 16:45Speaker 5: the US government has to go into action to try
- 16:48Speaker 5: and take this missile down. It's been it's aimed at Chicago. Wow,
- 16:53Speaker 5: can they take it down?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Or can't be? Is it because is it Chicago? Because
- 16:57Speaker 1: it's got the biggest airport in America?
- 17:00Speaker 5: That I'll be honest, it never came up around Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Ok.
- 17:04Speaker 5: And it's it's referred to as a pressure cooker. It's
- 17:08Speaker 5: got a good cast and none of whom I can
- 17:10Speaker 5: remember at present, and obviously a very very good director.
- 17:14Speaker 5: I'll be honest with you. I went to sleep maybe
- 17:17Speaker 5: an hour and a half or so into it. It's
- 17:20Speaker 5: one of those ones where It tells the story from
- 17:22Speaker 5: one person's point of view for about twenty minutes or
- 17:25Speaker 5: twenty five minutes, and then it switches to somebody else's
- 17:27Speaker 5: point of view of the same events. Something I hate,
- 17:30Speaker 5: really and you know, it was moldly interesting. But my
- 17:35Speaker 5: understanding is when the next day I asked my wife
- 17:38Speaker 5: what happened at the end, and she said, nothing, nothing spoilery.
- 17:43Speaker 5: So it's one of those things where you excited, like
- 17:46Speaker 5: as a pressure cocker, you need some kind of a resolution,
- 17:49Speaker 5: and the internet is alive with the conversation about what
- 17:53Speaker 5: the if was that.
- 17:54Speaker 1: You're right, okay, so you open the pressure cocker and
- 17:56Speaker 1: there's no food on nothing.
- 17:59Speaker 5: So on that note, you know, watch it well made,
- 18:02Speaker 5: et cetera, et cetera. But if you, if you have
- 18:03Speaker 5: somebody gets disappointed by endings, that suck being probably not
- 18:07Speaker 5: the film for you.
- 18:08Speaker 1: How many buzzies out of five what I saw of it,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I'd give it three three busies out of five, and
- 18:12Speaker 1: that's on Netflix.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Watch that two nights ago. Stopped halfway through good on you,
- 18:17Speaker 4: I just went, I'm not doing this, yeah, and like you,
- 18:19Speaker 4: I was like, okay. Another perspective of another perspective Okay,
- 18:24Speaker 4: can I have something, give me something, give me something here,
- 18:27Speaker 4: and my wife and I were unanimous and saying no,
- 18:30Speaker 4: I'm done with Thank you two busies.
- 18:32Speaker 2: But I watch.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So Jason was just on the TV behind you there,
- 18:37Speaker 1: mic Oh, yes, Cricket pedal.
- 18:39Speaker 4: Yeah, right, that's funny in that I watched The Salt
- 18:43Speaker 4: Path with Jillian Anderson.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Oh, Jillian and.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Some of the guy I'll get his name. In a
- 18:52Speaker 4: sick A couple lose their home and it's basically on
- 18:54Speaker 4: a true story. A couple lose their home and later
- 18:57Speaker 4: discovered that the husband has been diagnosed with a terminal
- 19:01Speaker 4: illness as they and back on a year long coastal track.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Who's her husband, I'll tell you right now, Mogi, Jason Isaac.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 19:13Speaker 4: He's pretty good. Now if you like those kind of
- 19:16Speaker 4: movies where you know, adversity, they've lost everything, it's based
- 19:23Speaker 4: on a true story and they go, I'll tell you
- 19:25Speaker 4: what we'll do. Let's just walk. Let's just walk the
- 19:28Speaker 4: coastal route there in England. And they do that and
- 19:31Speaker 4: they have all sorts of dramas.
- 19:32Speaker 5: They have no money, he's got cancer.
- 19:35Speaker 4: But at the end of it, at the end of it,
- 19:39Speaker 4: some things your resolve.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I was gonna say, we're just spoiling endings of everything
- 19:43Speaker 1: we watch now And I.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Think, and I was watching this thinking, Keasey's wife would
- 19:48Speaker 4: love this movie.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Is it a heartwarmer?
- 19:51Speaker 5: It is at warmer?
- 19:52Speaker 1: She probably would, she loves that stuff. How many buzzies
- 19:54Speaker 1: had a five?
- 19:55Speaker 4: Look keep it, I'll be honest, maybe two point nine?
- 19:58Speaker 4: Just fringing on three busy.
- 20:00Speaker 1: He's not quite a recommendation, not quite. And there was
- 20:02Speaker 1: on Netflix, Prime Prime and it was called The Salt Path.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that's right, Jason Isaacs. Of course he's the father
- 20:09Speaker 5: in the latest season of White Lotus.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Oh yes, yes, I actually thought he was Timothy Dalton initially. Yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 4: they look quite similar. But carry on, Kezy, well, not.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Really run out of time. It's all right. I had
- 20:23Speaker 1: some good stuff to say, though, far damn it. You
- 20:26Speaker 1: have to wait till tomorrow. Man, it's like a pressure
- 20:28Speaker 1: cooker in here.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Here's the clash.
- 20:33Speaker 7: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 20:36Speaker 7: Tune in week days a four on radio.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Hold Ikey, welcome back your messive bagbones. Hope you're getting
- 20:41Speaker 4: through your Wednesday tickety boo, You're listening to the Big
- 20:44Speaker 4: Show brought to you by Rebooger.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Crave with his street food freshly made with Reburger.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Read hardly. Noah, you know, I know, so.
- 21:07Speaker 5: Great stuff, Fellas.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I feel like, whenever there's just sort of nothing to say,
- 21:11Speaker 1: you always say great stuff, Fellas.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much. Well, I mean there is nothing to
- 21:16Speaker 4: say those advertisements, I guess would you call that an
- 21:20Speaker 4: advertisement for Reburger. They speak for themselves and they are
- 21:24Speaker 4: actual voxpops of actual people whose voices have been disguised
- 21:31Speaker 4: because they were taken without their knowledge.
- 21:34Speaker 1: That's right, Pugs. When it recorded someone at a stand
- 21:37Speaker 1: up gig bombing, I thought it was a joke about Reburger.
- 21:42Speaker 1: He was like, oh yeah, yeah, great stuff.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Hey, now coming up, Fellas, I've got a question that
- 21:47Speaker 4: I need. That's something that happened to me today and
- 21:50Speaker 4: I need to figure out the protocol for it behind it.
- 21:52Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. I want your advice, what
- 21:54Speaker 4: your thoughts are. In the meantime, God, let's get a
- 21:58Speaker 4: bit of rage in us.
- 22:00Speaker 7: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hidarchy.
- 22:05Speaker 4: The Rolling Stones there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 22:08Speaker 4: This Wednesday, afternoon. The time is sixteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 22:12Speaker 4: The team's coming back out onto the field for the
- 22:14Speaker 4: second innings of the second one day. If you haven't
- 22:17Speaker 4: heard England all out for one seventy fellas.
- 22:21Speaker 5: This morning, I was listening to Hediki Breakfast Jerry Wells
- 22:25Speaker 5: and the nice Stewart shit is good. Those guys get it. Yeah,
- 22:30Speaker 5: those guys get it. However, they did a segment about
- 22:33Speaker 5: this this talking well, it's this towey that can speak English. Bird. Yeah,
- 22:40Speaker 5: the bird, right, we can speak English. It hangs out
- 22:43Speaker 5: at Pukah National Wildlife Center and its name is Prince
- 22:48Speaker 5: tooy Teker. I can see what they got into that.
- 22:51Speaker 1: That's pretty good. That's funny.
- 22:54Speaker 5: And there's this video on TikTok that is absolutely going
- 22:57Speaker 5: off apparently, and it's this mad bastard that this this
- 23:02Speaker 5: toy Techa. He's up there and he's he can speak English.
- 23:06Speaker 5: So like Cheese, I'm going to stick around because I
- 23:09Speaker 5: teasing it and I was quite busy at home. I
- 23:10Speaker 5: had to get some things done. But sheese, I don't
- 23:12Speaker 5: want to miss it, so I've got to stick around
- 23:14Speaker 5: and listen. Anyway, I stuck around. They finally played the
- 23:21Speaker 5: audio of this thing, and you can't understand the goddamn
- 23:24Speaker 5: thing that too, He was.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Saying, Oh, really, so what are we doing? What a
- 23:28Speaker 1: lead down?
- 23:29Speaker 5: It's it's a bird that you can hear it chirping away. There,
- 23:34Speaker 5: I understand that, but that's chirping. And then there's a
- 23:36Speaker 5: bit where it sort of gargles, but it says that
- 23:38Speaker 5: you can't you can't discern a single syllable of what's
- 23:42Speaker 5: going on. Right, So I don't know why Jerry, Jerry
- 23:45Speaker 5: brought this piece of content to the table. I don't
- 23:47Speaker 5: know why you bother terrible radio shocking burs so you
- 23:51Speaker 5: hung around, you.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Got hooked with them. Was massively disappointed, exactly, and my.
- 23:56Speaker 5: I guess my concern is that I'm going mad, because
- 23:58Speaker 5: I already know I'm going blind. Maybe I'm going dear.
- 24:00Speaker 5: So I wanted to play the audio for you guys.
- 24:02Speaker 5: You tell me if you can hear anything in it?
- 24:05Speaker 5: There we go, yeah, dang.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Easy, h.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Good jeez, babe, Reid. There pretty good.
- 24:34Speaker 1: God, I see what you mean totally.
- 24:37Speaker 4: I couldn't make It's like a.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Bird and then like just weird little so it's not
- 24:42Speaker 1: speaking English?
- 24:42Speaker 4: What it was like I was taking a crab, you
- 24:44Speaker 4: know what I mean?
- 24:46Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a god.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Just when he gets deep inside my goat there, because
- 24:54Speaker 4: that's just a bird tweeting and grunting.
- 24:57Speaker 1: That's right, exactly.
- 24:58Speaker 5: They're making a a mountain out of them. Ohile, Now
- 25:01Speaker 5: apparently what it's saying is who said that? Who sayings saying?
- 25:06Speaker 5: Who said that?
- 25:07Speaker 1: I couldn't hear that?
- 25:08Speaker 5: If I didn't hear it, play the game, then it's
- 25:10Speaker 5: said because I listened out for it.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Who said that?
- 25:13Speaker 5: Who did that?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Okay, I'm listening.
- 25:16Speaker 3: Yeah, dang.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Easy, m jee be.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Read there.
- 25:39Speaker 2: That's good.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't I didn't hear it say that once?
- 25:43Speaker 4: No back, if I heard that, that is a terrible Well,
- 25:46Speaker 4: that's good.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm not going mad. Then that's important.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Now you're certainly not going mad. And I'm disgusted at
- 25:51Speaker 4: the Breakfast Show for just jumping on such a cheap
- 25:55Speaker 4: load of crap.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Yeah, that's you know what I'm saying, shocking math.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Well, maybe the the listeners could hear something. Let us
- 26:01Speaker 4: know on three four a three. In the meantime, he's
- 26:03Speaker 4: good shit.
- 26:04Speaker 7: The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy
- 26:07Speaker 7: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Archy is indeed Kings of Leon There on the Radio
- 26:12Speaker 4: Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday Afternoon of the Times five
- 26:16Speaker 4: twenty seven New Zealand. One down with nothing on the
- 26:20Speaker 4: board at the moment in the second over now feel us.
- 26:23Speaker 4: I wanted to get your view on something that happened
- 26:25Speaker 4: to me today. Just your thoughts. Really, My daughter's boyfriend
- 26:31Speaker 4: came over last night, stayed the night.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 26:35Speaker 4: No? Right, you're going to get with the program here, magies.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Sounds like you're getting dominated. But all good, This isn't
- 26:42Speaker 1: the thing we're discussing, right, No, okay, okay.
- 26:45Speaker 4: And anyway, so we woke up this morning and my
- 26:50Speaker 4: wife made me a coffee, even though it wasn't her turn, right,
- 26:56Speaker 4: And so then I had to go and do a
- 26:57Speaker 4: read through. My wife had to go to work, and
- 27:00Speaker 4: then my daughter also was working this morning, right, and
- 27:03Speaker 4: so off we all trotted, and then I got home
- 27:07Speaker 4: at about midday, sort of one o'clock, and I heard
- 27:10Speaker 4: some noise in my daughter's room, and I thought, oh,
- 27:13Speaker 4: my daughter's home from work because she worked at a
- 27:16Speaker 4: dog rescue place. So I knocked on her door and
- 27:18Speaker 4: walked down lo and behold, the boyfriend was there, but
- 27:23Speaker 4: no one else right, And I went, how do I
- 27:26Speaker 4: feel about that?
- 27:27Speaker 3: Hang about?
- 27:28Speaker 4: What's the protocol? Like we've all gone, yeah, but the
- 27:33Speaker 4: boyfriend has stayed behind?
- 27:36Speaker 5: Yeah, so you feel like he should have got up,
- 27:38Speaker 5: you know, and was a leisure You got up, there's
- 27:41Speaker 5: nobody home, take yourself back to your own house, or just.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Yeah, basically get out.
- 27:47Speaker 1: How long have they been together?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Oh?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Quite a long time, right, yeah, quite a long time.
- 27:52Speaker 5: Rights part of the family.
- 27:54Speaker 4: But you don't like, well that's but hang on, he's
- 27:59Speaker 4: an okay kid, Oh you.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Know what I mean?
- 28:01Speaker 4: And Timson that age group there, they're not He's.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Not a chat.
- 28:05Speaker 5: I mean he is a chat, just not with us,
- 28:07Speaker 5: because you're saying off here, Oh, here we go.
- 28:09Speaker 2: He's a shocking mask. Yeah.
- 28:13Speaker 4: But then I was thinking to myself, you know, what
- 28:15Speaker 4: is the kind of protocol there? I mean, my instinct is,
- 28:19Speaker 4: this is my instinct, this is what I would do
- 28:21Speaker 4: in that situation, as I'd go, I'm gonna get my
- 28:25Speaker 4: ass out of here. Why, yes, well, just because you
- 28:28Speaker 4: know everyone's gone, it's not my house. You know, I
- 28:32Speaker 4: wasn't offended by it or what set by it? But
- 28:35Speaker 4: I went on, it's just really interesting that you chose
- 28:37Speaker 4: to stay.
- 28:38Speaker 5: It sounds like it.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Rubbed you up the wrong way. Yeah, because he said
- 28:43Speaker 1: you're not offended by it, but you just go on
- 28:44Speaker 1: the radio and call him a shocking.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Mast Well, I mean yeah I did, but I was
- 28:49Speaker 4: a little taken a beat. Well, I mean, what would
- 28:51Speaker 4: you do in that situation?
- 28:54Speaker 1: For example, my in laws.
- 28:56Speaker 4: I've been with my wife a long, long long time, yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 4: and they still don't.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Like they love me, And so for example, I would
- 29:02Speaker 1: have no problem at all just being at their house, yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 1: because I know that they don't mind me being there. Y. Yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 1: as you personally obviously don't trust him, don't like him,
- 29:11Speaker 1: I don't want anything to do with him. That's like
- 29:13Speaker 1: that feels, which is totally fine, Jase.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I just I was just saying, look, he's a nice kid.
- 29:22Speaker 5: See that sounds like he's a shocking mathtard and I
- 29:27Speaker 5: do trust him.
- 29:28Speaker 4: I just I just went, is that is that all g?
- 29:31Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 29:32Speaker 2: Is that all G?
- 29:33Speaker 3: Well?
- 29:33Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 29:34Speaker 5: If he was a lovely kid and all that, you
- 29:36Speaker 5: wouldn't even think about it?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Would you blame me?
- 29:38Speaker 5: Old mate?
- 29:39Speaker 1: You be in the high five of them.
- 29:40Speaker 5: And you know, I don't think we're ever high fu
- 29:43Speaker 5: see what I'm saying. And that's the thing. I don't
- 29:44Speaker 5: like the vibe. I don't like the vibe this relationship
- 29:47Speaker 5: is given off to be honest. I put it to
- 29:49Speaker 5: you this way, Jase, I wouldn't use my toothbrush tonight.
- 29:53Speaker 5: All right, he's been in that house all day long.
- 29:57Speaker 5: God knows what he's been up to. Because if you're
- 29:59Speaker 5: right and he is a shocking birth good you can
- 30:04Speaker 5: have some problems.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Man.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Yeah, did we help Jason?
- 30:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 30:09Speaker 4: Thanks goodness.
- 30:11Speaker 7: The Hidarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 30:14Speaker 7: in four on.
- 30:16Speaker 5: Radio Hoky Pearl.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Jam there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 30:21Speaker 4: The time is five thirty nine New Zealand seven for one.
- 30:25Speaker 4: She looks tough going out there.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Certainly they're playing at Hamilton right.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Yeah, had the tron?
- 30:30Speaker 4: Yeah it's a dicey wicket.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Feilers the Big Show have decided to well to be honest.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Following a Matt and Jerry's footsteps, yes, which was I
- 30:38Speaker 1: believe they were the first show ever last year of
- 30:42Speaker 1: the year before to record a podcast and put a
- 30:44Speaker 1: podcast on vinyl was a good few years ago.
- 30:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a few years Yeah, it was quite
- 30:47Speaker 5: a while ago.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And obviously a podcast is designed to be available whenever
- 30:51Speaker 1: you want it a vinyl, very old media. Putting the
- 30:54Speaker 1: two together, it's madness. It's madness, Mogi, that is madness. However,
- 31:00Speaker 1: we've done it. We've teamed up with our mates at
- 31:02Speaker 1: Holiday Records and they've pressed a limited run of The
- 31:05Speaker 1: Big Show's origin story available on a podcast. So it
- 31:09Speaker 1: is the story, a deep dive into the history of
- 31:12Speaker 1: Hoidy j and MOGGI, how they met, how Old Kezy
- 31:15Speaker 1: came into the frame and then old Pugsun came along
- 31:18Speaker 1: as well, and how the Big Show came to be. Now,
- 31:21Speaker 1: if you're a fan of the show or you know
- 31:23Speaker 1: someone that is, these vinyls will be available to purchase
- 31:27Speaker 1: this Friday. You just have to text the word vii
- 31:30Speaker 1: n y L. That's vinyl. Do you spell it? It's
- 31:33Speaker 1: one of those words that people spell wrong all the time. Yes,
- 31:35Speaker 1: vi in y L to three four eight three and
- 31:38Speaker 1: we'll hit you with a link if you're interested. It's
- 31:39Speaker 1: a limited run yep. So you know, a collectors edition
- 31:42Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 31:42Speaker 4: I reckon in like five years time, it'll sell for
- 31:48Speaker 4: ten times what you bought it.
- 31:50Speaker 5: For lease at least.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, because people will still be like, wow, the big show.
- 31:54Speaker 4: So even if you're not into the big show, it's
- 31:57Speaker 4: a massive investment opportunity.
- 31:59Speaker 1: It is fighting the urge at the moment to get
- 32:02Speaker 1: into the whole vinyl scene the edge, because it's just
- 32:06Speaker 1: exactly something that I would be interested in, because I like,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I've got my old trucks and I've got my old
- 32:11Speaker 1: motorbike and suck. I love old technology, old clothes and
- 32:16Speaker 1: old yarns.
- 32:17Speaker 4: There is because I've just recently become a convert, purely
- 32:21Speaker 4: because my daughter's gone overseas and left a record playing mind.
- 32:24Speaker 4: There was a bit of a pilava setting her up.
- 32:26Speaker 4: I've got to be honest, getting a new needle and
- 32:28Speaker 4: all that sort of carry on.
- 32:30Speaker 1: So sorry, okay, so you don't have to get speakers.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and you know, hooking at it all up.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 32:36Speaker 4: It'll amaze you guys to know.
- 32:38Speaker 5: I'm not great with technology, heaven, technology from the fifties.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Even technology for these but she is a rich sound.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I quite enjoyed tapping away on my typewriter, put a
- 32:49Speaker 4: little record on there in the sun room, and good
- 32:52Speaker 4: times had by all.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Far out your type on that typewriter.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Red rum, red rum, red rum.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Because didn't you You had a record player though, right,
- 33:02Speaker 1: wasn't it one of those ones that had the big
- 33:04Speaker 1: bronze horn on top of it? Yes?
- 33:05Speaker 2: I did.
- 33:06Speaker 5: Used to crack the handle, cranking you crank away.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Yeah, what do you call it?
- 33:12Speaker 1: The hog?
- 33:13Speaker 4: And I actually really missed that bastard, just to have
- 33:16Speaker 4: it there in the flat you're miss.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Cranking the hog and the flat texts ticks vital to
- 33:26Speaker 1: three F three to get the look sound guarded.
- 33:33Speaker 7: The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 33:36Speaker 7: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Hold I ca here, welcome back, your massive backbones. You're
- 33:40Speaker 4: listening to the Big Show, brought to you by Reburger.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Crave worthy street food freshly made with Reburger.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Share because it's Weberger.
- 33:52Speaker 1: How's that nice and short to the point fellers.
- 33:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I bet you won't get any of that tofin
- 33:57Speaker 4: crap in there.
- 33:59Speaker 1: They don't do topin burgers, no Reburger my.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Backbone vegetarian options, yeah, there are, of course.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, tasty ones. So it's just tofu that you hate.
- 34:09Speaker 4: Well, just I don't hate tofu. It's just cooked in
- 34:12Speaker 4: certain ways. Yeah right, okay, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:14Speaker 1: So like tofou on the barbecue.
- 34:18Speaker 4: If it's marinated and something nice, maybe a toasted sandwich
- 34:21Speaker 4: with oh yeahm tofu soup. Oh look, I don't mind
- 34:26Speaker 4: a bit of floaty tofu in a in a suit
- 34:29Speaker 4: of broth, particularly if it's a spicy soup.
- 34:31Speaker 5: You's got to sit overnight to get the juice out.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Because you could like boil a tofu carcass overnight and
- 34:37Speaker 1: make a tofu broth and then make like a ramen.
- 34:41Speaker 1: You know that sounds young.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Incidentally, by the way, he's what are you having for
- 34:46Speaker 4: dinner tonight after your disgraceful curry last night?
- 34:49Speaker 1: That was two nights ago. Oh yeah, did you eat
- 34:55Speaker 1: the left Though I did not, It's still in my
- 34:57Speaker 1: fridge and I have tixed the wife and said, if
- 35:00Speaker 1: you want, I will eat the boring, horrific leftover curry tonight.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Put a little extra curry paste in and make it yum. Sure,
- 35:07Speaker 1: And she did that the other day. Apparently it helped
- 35:08Speaker 1: fix it. And you can have the leftover noodles which
- 35:12Speaker 1: I made last night, which were delicious. Right, Okay, so yeah,
- 35:15Speaker 1: it sounds like I'm having curry. Yeah, yeah, what do
- 35:19Speaker 1: you what are you having? I'm not sure you've had
- 35:22Speaker 1: about four meals.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Yeah, he's already had four meals, so he's well taken care.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Can I just say about fifty chocolates, not chocolates, but
- 35:31Speaker 4: certainly fifty dollies.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Man, Jason's eating seven fruit there.
- 35:35Speaker 5: I know he's been piling them down in his gull.
- 35:38Speaker 5: It's been an absolute disgrace from you today.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Well, just on that front. Actually, I've been concerned about
- 35:43Speaker 4: your kidney stones. We'll be getting into that next we will.
- 35:46Speaker 4: And I don't think eating lollies is going to help
- 35:48Speaker 4: the situation, all right, just quietly, Yeah, certainly bloody won't.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Yeah, Bogie, you're in trouble.
- 35:54Speaker 7: The whole Key Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune.
- 35:57Speaker 4: In on radio smashing Pumpkins here on the Radio Hodankee
- 36:02Speaker 4: Big Show this Wednesday evening. Now, before we left for Fiji,
- 36:05Speaker 4: there was a bit of a medical situation, a medical
- 36:08Speaker 4: drama with old Nogi and that was but he had
- 36:12Speaker 4: been suffering from a bit of kidney pain for quite
- 36:14Speaker 4: some time, so he decided to go and get it
- 36:16Speaker 4: checked out. And they said, you've got kidney stones.
- 36:19Speaker 2: You're full.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That's right, That is right, Jason. All of this happened.
- 36:23Speaker 5: And I've had kidney stones before on one occasion about
- 36:26Speaker 5: six years ago.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Painful, bastard.
- 36:29Speaker 5: It was yes, shocks, yeah, And I wasn't enjoying the
- 36:34Speaker 5: prospect of being over in Fiji and suffering from such
- 36:38Speaker 5: a medical episode again if I could avoid it. The
- 36:41Speaker 5: problem that I had was, by the time I had
- 36:43Speaker 5: a suspicion of what it was. It was the Thursday
- 36:46Speaker 5: afternoon before we flew on the Friday over to Fiji.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Debarclere, Jace. I swear to God, man, I've just unplugged
- 36:54Speaker 1: the racism of alarm.
- 36:55Speaker 5: So I went into the doctor there and they said,
- 36:57Speaker 5: we'll get you in for a scam and then we'll
- 37:00Speaker 5: see if we can see it in there, et cetera,
- 37:02Speaker 5: all these things. Anyway, the long and the short of
- 37:04Speaker 5: it was I couldn't get in. It was too late
- 37:06Speaker 5: to notice. And he said the only thing he could
- 37:09Speaker 5: do for me, really was wish me all the best
- 37:13Speaker 5: first and foremost, and secondly, give me some suppository painkillers.
- 37:19Speaker 5: And now suppository, of course is a pill that you
- 37:22Speaker 5: need to poke up the rectum there. Oh yeah, big pills,
- 37:28Speaker 5: big pills, big baths. And so I was at a
- 37:33Speaker 5: little bit anxious. Anxious is certainly one of the things
- 37:37Speaker 5: I was feeling there, Jace, thank you. And so on
- 37:41Speaker 5: the plane we got and headle over there and we
- 37:44Speaker 5: sort of had a few beers pretty quick responsibly, of course, yes.
- 37:49Speaker 5: And then it wasn't until a day or so later
- 37:50Speaker 5: I thought to myself, bloody hell, I'm feeling great guns here,
- 37:54Speaker 5: and I think what had happened was I weed it out.
- 37:58Speaker 5: So that's what happens. Is the pain that you feel
- 38:00Speaker 5: when you've got kidney stones is it's when they're transiting
- 38:03Speaker 5: between the kidney and the bladder, yes, down through what's
- 38:08Speaker 5: known as the eureta. Now, then there's a tube that
- 38:13Speaker 5: takes the urine from the kidney the bladder out of
- 38:16Speaker 5: the PENI there, right, and that's the urethra. So they
- 38:21Speaker 5: were later but not the same, right, So.
- 38:22Speaker 1: It's the pain of the eureta, yes, not the urethra,
- 38:26Speaker 1: because I thought it was the opposite. No, that's right.
- 38:28Speaker 5: So more often than not, once it makes its way
- 38:30Speaker 5: into the bladder, it'll flow directly out of you know,
- 38:32Speaker 5: whatever you've got operating there. But very occasionally you'll have
- 38:39Speaker 5: a massive stone that gets caught and you're urethra and
- 38:42Speaker 5: then you're in all sorts of trouble there. Now, of course,
- 38:44Speaker 5: I managed to make my way all the way through
- 38:46Speaker 5: the suppositories there. We had a few drinks on the
- 38:50Speaker 5: satellite night and the boys were absolutely hamry mug you
- 38:52Speaker 5: get out of the suppository, so everybody got a couple
- 38:55Speaker 5: in them, yeah, and feeling pretty good.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Yeah there, it was great.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:00Speaker 4: I remember when I had a kidney stewe back in
- 39:02Speaker 4: the day, and you know when it went, it went
- 39:05Speaker 4: from the kidney to the what was the uretar down
- 39:08Speaker 4: the ureta, Yeah, and then it went out there you rethrave. Yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 4: and that took like a week. Yeah, such a long
- 39:15Speaker 4: way to travel.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Because jays, come on, man, we're having a serious medical
- 39:20Speaker 1: chat about Moggi's downstairs here and you've made it about
- 39:23Speaker 1: you not having a big penis.
- 39:25Speaker 4: I'm just telling you what happened for you.
- 39:28Speaker 1: It's a long story short. You don't have kidney stones anymore, Moggi.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 39:33Speaker 7: Yeah, the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 39:39Speaker 4: Hdarchy Stereophonics there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 39:43Speaker 4: Wednesday evening. Now, our good mates of Diamonds on Richmond
- 39:46Speaker 4: have given us an eight thousand dollars diamond engagement ring
- 39:50Speaker 4: which we want to give to some lucky bar set
- 39:52Speaker 4: out there to propose to that special person in their life. Fels.
- 39:57Speaker 1: That's right. A lot of the entries coming through are
- 39:59Speaker 1: both from the person that wants to propose and the
- 40:02Speaker 1: person who wants to be proposed to. So it's an
- 40:05Speaker 1: interesting competition, it is.
- 40:07Speaker 5: And look, it's a special occasion. You only get to
- 40:11Speaker 5: propose or be proposed to a couple of times in
- 40:14Speaker 5: your life.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Yeah, well some people I've heard even just once or
- 40:17Speaker 1: five or six. Yeah, yeah, yeah, in your case totally.
- 40:21Speaker 1: And we've had a lot of entries in at Hodaki
- 40:23Speaker 1: dot co, dot z one Dent Anonymous of course, we've
- 40:27Speaker 1: got Anonymous on the line with us right now. Anonymous,
- 40:30Speaker 1: how you going this afternoon?
- 40:31Speaker 8: You get our fella's doing good?
- 40:33Speaker 7: Thanks?
- 40:34Speaker 4: What a back man, I can tell that already. Tell
- 40:36Speaker 4: me Anonymous, your situation and what you want to do
- 40:40Speaker 4: about it?
- 40:41Speaker 8: Well, I mean, Paul partnerly. She's been hanging on for
- 40:44Speaker 8: about seven years now and still no roue.
- 40:47Speaker 5: So I thought, you know, now the time, jezus romantic.
- 40:52Speaker 3: He's a romantic.
- 40:53Speaker 6: Bas I do what I can.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Yeah, right, so tell us about tell us about your
- 40:58Speaker 1: lovely partner, man ground.
- 41:00Speaker 8: I love it chance the engagement, but we're actually often
- 41:07Speaker 8: it's for Christmas news, and I thought that'd be perfect, a.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Very nice, very nice just on that, Anonymous. If this
- 41:16Speaker 1: was my partner, she would probably be thinking, oh, I
- 41:19Speaker 1: wonder if he's going to propose to me? And do
- 41:21Speaker 1: you think your partner will be thinking that same thing?
- 41:24Speaker 4: Oh?
- 41:24Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 41:27Speaker 2: She might have.
- 41:28Speaker 8: She might be dropping off by now.
- 41:30Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the thing, man. They get to a certain
- 41:32Speaker 5: point and you'll know this, Jase, where they don't expect
- 41:35Speaker 5: to be proposed to because they've brought up so much
- 41:37Speaker 5: and you've ignored her so much that you know, they
- 41:39Speaker 5: just sort of lose or hope you can tell does
- 41:41Speaker 5: that look in their eye?
- 41:42Speaker 8: Yeah, she's still good. But I just saw doing it
- 41:47Speaker 8: in front of a two million random people, and.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that'll be great. That'll be great, Anonymous. I'll tell
- 41:52Speaker 1: you what, mate. Good luck you are, of course in
- 41:54Speaker 1: the drawer for this thing. Man, We've got to have
- 41:56Speaker 1: fingers crossed for you.
- 41:57Speaker 8: All right, thank you very much.
- 41:58Speaker 5: I've also got another idea, man. I mean, Time Square
- 42:01Speaker 5: on New York is bloody beautiful. But what say, men,
- 42:04Speaker 5: you're on your jet Star flight heading over there, and
- 42:07Speaker 5: they bring down the little tray of lollies and in
- 42:10Speaker 5: the trail of lollies you've got an eight thousand dollar
- 42:12Speaker 5: engagement ring.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yeah, while ah, there you go, boy, or the tea
- 42:18Speaker 1: or the coffee even.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Have you guys ever heard such a romantic bastard?
- 42:23Speaker 1: Nah?
- 42:23Speaker 4: Man, you know what I'm saying.
- 42:25Speaker 1: This guy gets it.
- 42:26Speaker 4: He gets it big times. She's a lucky, lucky lady.
- 42:29Speaker 1: She certainly is. All right, good luck, anonymous mate. We'll
- 42:31Speaker 1: chuck you over to pugs are still in the drawer,
- 42:33Speaker 1: and for anyone else listening that once to get themselves
- 42:35Speaker 1: in the draw Hdarchy dot co dot m Z, tell
- 42:37Speaker 1: us about your relationship and you can win that eight
- 42:39Speaker 1: thousand dollars diamond engagement ring courtesy of Diamonds on Richmond,
- 42:43Speaker 1: who makes buying an engagement ring really easy?
- 42:46Speaker 7: The Whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy
- 42:49Speaker 7: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy Talking heads.
- 42:53Speaker 4: Here on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show. That's Wednesday evening shutters.
- 42:57Speaker 4: I suspect I'm losing my mind right now. I mentioned
- 43:02Speaker 4: this a little while back because I saw it and
- 43:04Speaker 4: it sort of took me aback a little, and I
- 43:06Speaker 4: was like, what the hell's going on there? And what
- 43:08Speaker 4: I'm referring to is I was going for a walk
- 43:10Speaker 4: and I saw someone taking their cat for a walk.
- 43:12Speaker 1: No ah, so and did that bug you?
- 43:18Speaker 3: Yes?
- 43:19Speaker 1: Sorry to hear that, man.
- 43:21Speaker 4: Okay, Now today my wife and I were going for
- 43:25Speaker 4: a walk our Wednesday morning outside, so I just realized
- 43:32Speaker 4: that's fine, man um, Actually that bugged me, did it?
- 43:35Speaker 5: Yes?
- 43:35Speaker 1: Oh god, I can play it again.
- 43:37Speaker 4: Yes, bugging doing our regular Wednesday morning walk. And I
- 43:45Speaker 4: kid you not three separate people with three separate cats
- 43:50Speaker 4: on leads going for a walk. Now, listen, listen. Is
- 43:55Speaker 4: this a new rage that I've missed out on a
- 43:58Speaker 4: new trend that's going on? Because the other thing I
- 44:01Speaker 4: will the other point that I will make without a
- 44:03Speaker 4: word of a lie, every one of those cats look
- 44:07Speaker 4: completely terrified. One of them was like lying on the ground,
- 44:12Speaker 4: just not moving and they were trying to tug it along.
- 44:15Speaker 4: What the hell is going on? Who walks a cat?
- 44:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it happens. I used to see a little bit
- 44:19Speaker 5: of it Wellington when I was living down there on
- 44:21Speaker 5: Oriental Parade. There's a fair few apartments around.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Yeah, okay.
- 44:25Speaker 5: There was an old lady there who lived in one
- 44:27Speaker 5: of the apartments and she had a big, white, fluffy
- 44:29Speaker 5: cat and she would take it out on the lead
- 44:31Speaker 5: and the cat loved it because it was it was
- 44:34Speaker 5: housebound all day except for this walk that it would
- 44:36Speaker 5: get about probably about fifteen minutes. Is it's a lot, right,
- 44:39Speaker 5: so be rolling around in the grass like a dog idiot?
- 44:42Speaker 1: You know?
- 44:43Speaker 5: Yeah, so I think that's what it is. But that
- 44:45Speaker 5: surprises me because out your way it's not so much
- 44:48Speaker 5: abutment buildings as slums, and then yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Slums and sort of overgrowing lots and stuff.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I love.
- 44:55Speaker 4: There's plenty of places for a cat to go. And
- 44:57Speaker 4: you know, my cat Jizz, she upsite, she goes out,
- 45:01Speaker 4: catches fifty skinks.
- 45:02Speaker 1: A day, you know what I mean.
- 45:04Speaker 4: And so I just can't get my head around it,
- 45:06Speaker 4: because you know, cats are flighty nasty little bastards and
- 45:11Speaker 4: the idea of putting them on a lead and taking
- 45:13Speaker 4: them for a walk is just wrong to me.
- 45:16Speaker 5: Can I ask you about the owners?
- 45:18Speaker 3: Yes?
- 45:18Speaker 5: What sort of age breaker are we looking at here?
- 45:20Speaker 1: For the owners?
- 45:21Speaker 2: Older?
- 45:22Speaker 1: Yes?
- 45:22Speaker 2: Older?
- 45:22Speaker 1: That would have been my guest.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Predominantly, because this is my philosophy on cats. You feed them,
- 45:28Speaker 4: then they're on their own, you know what I'm saying.
- 45:31Speaker 1: I'll feed them, and that's their philosophy too, and you can.
- 45:34Speaker 4: Go and do whatever the hell you want, just don't
- 45:36Speaker 4: bother me.
- 45:36Speaker 1: And they don't want anything to do with you.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Well generally cats don't. So this is why it's doing
- 45:40Speaker 4: my head in And I just genuinely wondered this is
- 45:43Speaker 4: a thing going around now that cats.
- 45:45Speaker 5: Walking as a thing. There are also people out there
- 45:49Speaker 5: that keep their cats inside. My cousin for example, she's
- 45:52Speaker 5: on wa Yes, she keeps her cat indoors it all
- 45:55Speaker 5: time because they don't want the cats to catch But
- 45:59Speaker 5: that's they're there for.
- 46:00Speaker 1: They love a native bird mate.
- 46:02Speaker 5: Is there anything more beautiful than seeing a book?
- 46:06Speaker 3: You know?
- 46:06Speaker 5: I kid up in a tree to he you know,
- 46:09Speaker 5: with that native call, that distinctive native call, and then
- 46:11Speaker 5: all of a sudden the cat comes flying out of
- 46:14Speaker 5: nowhere and bang, claws run into the throat.
- 46:18Speaker 4: And the great thing about cats is they bring them back.
- 46:20Speaker 4: I've got a whole type of cloth of native bird
- 46:24Speaker 4: feathers and it's just all from the carcasses that Jesus.
- 46:27Speaker 7: Caught the Hilarchy. Big show was Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 46:31Speaker 7: tune in four on Radio ho Lucky.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Well, there you go your mandvass. That's a big show
- 46:44Speaker 4: down and dusted for your Wednesday night and the podcast
- 46:47Speaker 4: out tro today. What's the clip there, Keezy? Ah?
- 46:50Speaker 1: The day Ahead is the name of the clip. Was
- 46:53Speaker 1: obviously us chatting about the day ahead.
- 46:56Speaker 5: That's when wakes up in the morning.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Ah yeah, here's a clip comes out at seventh thirty two.
- 47:02Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys do this, but I
- 47:03Speaker 4: but usually when I wake up in the morning, the
- 47:05Speaker 4: first thing I did was process my day head.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'll do you say, process your food from.
- 47:09Speaker 4: The day before, and I go, well, what's coming up today?
- 47:11Speaker 1: Nothing? Very good process, isn't it.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Ja.
- 47:20Speaker 4: It's a very quick process going to get that podcast
- 47:23Speaker 4: with very funny today. Yeah, hat on some funny stuff
- 47:27Speaker 4: going on there. Maybe you watch the plane tonight, maybe
- 47:30Speaker 4: go home watch a bit of cricket, go home, do.
- 47:31Speaker 2: A bit of work.
- 47:32Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I watch some cricket. Actually, that's a lovely idea. Yes,
- 47:35Speaker 5: of course the A c C will be commentating this,
- 47:38Speaker 5: so I have to hang out at the back of it.
- 47:39Speaker 5: I understand this evening. It's it's Mike Lane or grop
- 47:44Speaker 5: Lane as they call him, because he's a filthy animal
- 47:46Speaker 5: Big Sandys. Yes, and Mesh well, I saw man. I
- 47:50Speaker 5: wasn't there and I was in there as well. But
- 47:52Speaker 5: he's just watching, is he. Yes, he's Measure's apprentice.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Oh wow, he could learn a lot a couple of traps.
- 48:00Speaker 1: That's good stuff.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:00Speaker 4: What are you doing tonight, Keezy?
- 48:02Speaker 1: I'm just trying to figure out with my wife what
- 48:04Speaker 1: we do for dinner. So she's definitely going to have
- 48:07Speaker 1: the leftover noodle late I know. And I'm either going
- 48:10Speaker 1: to have leftover curry from two nights ago with no
- 48:13Speaker 1: bad no, or make an omelet and as you know,
- 48:17Speaker 1: my wife's little omelet king, so maybe I do that. Yeah,
- 48:20Speaker 1: there's lots of mushrooms at home.
- 48:21Speaker 5: I want to use them. Weird having having eggs for dinner?
- 48:25Speaker 2: Do you I do?
- 48:26Speaker 1: Okay, I do, But it's fine for you.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Occasionally I'll have a couple of poachees for dinner to
- 48:32Speaker 4: appoached e.
