- 8:39Speaker 2: the lookout for that live on aired out. And speaking
- 8:43Speaker 2: of wrapping Christmas for kids, They're going to be wrapping
- 8:48Speaker 2: a lot the very near future, I believe, starting today
- 8:54Speaker 2: right here in the building, so very very busy people
- 8:58Speaker 2: of course you know them, Jason and Katie and Jen
- 9:07Speaker 2: and lots of volunteers that are going to be helping
- 9:10Speaker 2: wrap all of the gifts that you have all raised
- 9:15Speaker 2: funds for here in Central from Christmas for Kids going

- 9:25Speaker 2: here it aired out collecting wrapping paper and tape. So

- 10:13Speaker 2: and make sure it gets right here. Weatherwise, again, like
- 10:19Speaker 2: I said, we got that nice warm up today, thirty
- 10:23Speaker 2: nine degrees? Can we handle it? Incredible? Take you over
- 10:30Speaker 2: to Josiah. Where where exactly are you, buddy? Are you
- 10:35Speaker 2: in New York?
- 10:38Speaker 5: Yeah? I'm in New York near Cooperstown.
- 10:41Speaker 2: All right, how's it over there? You guys getting the
- 10:44Speaker 2: same warm up?
- 10:46Speaker 5: Yeah? I think we are. You know, I think it's
- 10:47Speaker 5: actually raining a little bit right now, which is a
- 10:50Speaker 5: little bit different than what we've been getting for the
- 10:53Speaker 5: past month. Yeah, so I think actually I think on
- 10:57Speaker 5: Friday it's supposed to get almost upper forties.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Nice.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we'll have all the snow will dissipate.
- 11:08Speaker 2: So well, we got we got forty today, which is
- 11:12Speaker 2: pretty incredible. Tonight we're down about twenty two cloudy skies
- 11:17Speaker 2: and then Thursday tomorrow forty five, Friday fifty three Bro,
- 11:23Speaker 2: can you think you think you can beat that?
- 11:26Speaker 5: I cannot beat that in December?
- 11:28Speaker 2: Come on, I know, I think it's the January thought
- 11:31Speaker 2: a little bit early, man. I listen. I'm so happy
- 11:35Speaker 2: to see you this morning. Welcome back to Air it Out.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I've lost track how many times you've been on. I
- 11:41Speaker 2: love having you guys, you and your brother on and
- 11:44Speaker 2: everyone from Sweethearts and Heroes. You know. I was just
- 11:47Speaker 2: hanging out with Rick and Tom on Monday over at
- 11:51Speaker 2: Cody's Chevrolet. Rick was Yeah, he was over there signing
- 11:55Speaker 2: his book a bridge named Amos and meeting people and
- 11:58Speaker 2: we had it was fully catered by subway. We had
- 12:03Speaker 2: to cookies and it was just such a great experience. Man.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't know that. I didn't. I didn't look
- 12:13Speaker 5: at the calendar. I didn't know they were up there
- 12:15Speaker 5: a month.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, just right down the road from us here on
- 12:20Speaker 2: North Main Street, Cody Chevrolet. And they're huge, huge fans
- 12:25Speaker 2: of Sweethearts and Heroes. Bob. Cody saw you guys over
- 12:30Speaker 2: at you thirty two a couple of years ago, yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 2: and he was like, oh, hell yeah, I'm connecting with
- 12:38Speaker 2: these guys. They need to be part of we need
- 12:40Speaker 2: to be part of them, they need to be part
- 12:42Speaker 2: of us. We're going to support them.
- 12:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, We've had a good long relationship with
- 12:48Speaker 5: Chabby and I think I even have some schools coming
- 12:53Speaker 5: up in the next half of the year that I'm
- 12:55Speaker 5: going to be going to through them. I think Maple
- 13:00Speaker 5: Street Schools. I'm not sure where that is in Vermont.
- 13:05Speaker 5: I think southern Vermont to be honest with you, We've
- 13:08Speaker 5: just had a great relationship with the a number of
- 13:12Speaker 5: different Chevy So super exciting that that work gets to
- 13:18Speaker 5: be done and brought to these students.
- 13:23Speaker 2: What is what is the what are you? What's your
- 13:27Speaker 2: title now? Is it the Community Ambassador or something like that?
- 13:32Speaker 2: What what Tom's like changing it all the time?
- 13:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't even know when I first started. I
- 13:39Speaker 5: think we made up the title or something. I think that, Yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 5: it's kind of more more into the community ambassador, you know.
- 13:48Speaker 5: It's it came from this program that we've been starting
- 13:52Speaker 5: called the Community Ambassador program where he takes somebody like
- 13:56Speaker 5: myself or Pat Fish and we go to a local
- 14:01Speaker 5: school to us once a week and it's to help
- 14:05Speaker 5: build a circle culture to really just kind of take
- 14:08Speaker 5: the pressure off of teachers and counselors trying to do
- 14:13Speaker 5: the circle work where we can kind of show them
- 14:18Speaker 5: how to do it in a sustainable way. So that's
- 14:21Speaker 5: where I think, you know, that came from from the program.
- 14:24Speaker 5: But I think it just fits really well with all
- 14:26Speaker 5: of the other things that I do in schools that
- 14:29Speaker 5: I go to, even if it's not a part of
- 14:31Speaker 5: a community ambassador program, being just a community ambassador to
- 14:36Speaker 5: each of the schools that we go to is a
- 14:40Speaker 5: pretty good overall title for what I actually do.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I'll tell you Adam Harrith, the superintendent of OEESJ CSD,
- 14:52Speaker 2: he just he thinks that you guys walk on water.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, I love Adam. Him and I have become
- 15:04Speaker 5: pretty pretty good friends. He's the Yeah. I go to
- 15:07Speaker 5: his school oe s J once a week, so I'll
- 15:11Speaker 5: be there back on Friday. I was at their elementary
- 15:15Speaker 5: school last Friday. So I kind of go back and
- 15:19Speaker 5: forth between the high school, middle school down to the
- 15:21Speaker 5: elementary school. And we've just been just been some really
- 15:26Speaker 5: awesome stuff going on there, especially at the elementary level.
- 15:32Speaker 5: We've had some you know, some of the sixth grade
- 15:36Speaker 5: and fifth grade. You know, it just seemed to be
- 15:39Speaker 5: pretty tough this year, but I've got to do a
- 15:41Speaker 5: lot of work with them in the circle, even even
- 15:46Speaker 5: just getting to spend some time in recess with them.
- 15:50Speaker 5: You know, there's a lot of young young men that,
- 15:55Speaker 5: you know, I think just need somebody, especially maybe a male,
- 16:01Speaker 5: to just uh sit with them, hang out with them,
- 16:04Speaker 5: play play some games with them. And so we've been
- 16:07Speaker 5: it's been really really awesome. I love going to oe
- 16:10Speaker 5: s J. It's a it's a something I look forward
- 16:14Speaker 5: to throughout the week when I get to my Friday
- 16:17Speaker 5: visit to go see them. They're doing the school themselves,
- 16:20Speaker 5: I mean, Adam and they just got a in the
- 16:23Speaker 5: middle school. High school just got a new principal, Aaron Brady,
- 16:27Speaker 5: who's a wonderful, wonderful, very experienced principle and he he
- 16:34Speaker 5: really is for sweethearts and heroes and what we do.
- 16:38Speaker 5: So that's really that's really been awesome. He's been kind
- 16:41Speaker 5: of getting integrated into everything there, and uh, I just
- 16:46Speaker 5: I love working with the staff there. The all of
- 16:50Speaker 5: the teachers that I meet are just very inquisitive and
- 16:55Speaker 5: asking questions like, hey, how can I do this? How
- 16:57Speaker 5: can I integrate you know, Circle into here? And so
- 17:00Speaker 5: it's just been it's been wonderful to work with the
- 17:02Speaker 5: team over there.
- 17:04Speaker 2: We're chatting on Wednesdays with someone every Wednesday with someone
- 17:09Speaker 2: different from Sweethearts and Heroes, the number one youth leadership
- 17:14Speaker 2: team in America. You guys, uh, and of course this
- 17:19Speaker 2: is Josiah McKeon. You guys are confronting a lot of
- 17:26Speaker 2: heavy stuff like in schools and beyond, like hopelessness, bullying,
- 17:32Speaker 2: youth suicide. These are really gigantic things, man, These are
- 17:38Speaker 2: freaking elephants. And you guys are kind of chipping away
- 17:43Speaker 2: at this with some inspiring program that transforms schools and
- 17:53Speaker 2: organizations to think differently and maybe kind of create a
- 17:57Speaker 2: different culture of in it addition to learning at school,
- 18:03Speaker 2: but just bringing a different awareness, a different understanding of Yo,
- 18:09Speaker 2: let's stop, take a deep breath. Beyond just learning the
- 18:15Speaker 2: core curriculum. We need to be better people. We need
- 18:18Speaker 2: to take a deep breath, take a step back, just
- 18:22Speaker 2: be better kids.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Yeah, man, And you know it's uh, sometimes I think
- 18:33Speaker 5: it's something that you know, if you're an adult, that's
- 18:37Speaker 5: you know, done, done some work and just self reflective
- 18:42Speaker 5: aspects and just looked at yourself and try to become
- 18:45Speaker 5: a better person. You know, I think sometimes it's it's
- 18:48Speaker 5: easy to take just having the simple but heavy conversations
- 18:54Speaker 5: for granted. You know, I think we go a lot
- 18:57Speaker 5: of times throughout our lives and we just don't talk
- 18:59Speaker 5: about things that are going on.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Uh.
- 19:03Speaker 5: And you know, you know, for instance, I was at
- 19:08Speaker 5: a school the other day and and you know, just
- 19:11Speaker 5: got to do I've been there quite a bit, so
- 19:14Speaker 5: I haven't done like a first time circle with a
- 19:18Speaker 5: group in a while. But happened to be a fourth
- 19:20Speaker 5: grade group that I hadn't done a circle with and
- 19:23Speaker 5: they were excited for me to come in. So I
- 19:26Speaker 5: just did a first time circle where I got to ask,
- 19:29Speaker 5: you know, are pretty traditional two questions of who's your
- 19:34Speaker 5: favorite superhero? And if you had a time machine, where
- 19:37Speaker 5: would you go? Or when would you go? And you know,
- 19:41Speaker 5: when I get to do a first time circle, uh,
- 19:44Speaker 5: it just it always reminds me of the fact that,
- 19:46Speaker 5: you know, kids just don't get to talk about certain things.
- 19:50Speaker 5: It's not that they're necessarily told they're not allowed to,
- 19:53Speaker 5: it's that they don't. And as it went around, I
- 19:57Speaker 5: just you know, heard quite a bit of young people
- 20:02Speaker 5: have lost moms and dads and grandparents, brothers and sisters,
- 20:07Speaker 5: and you know some of the peers just flowed and
- 20:12Speaker 5: you know, uh, it's it's it's just not something we
- 20:18Speaker 5: talk about. And I learned this from my buddy Pat Fish,
- 20:22Speaker 5: you know, when I started training with him, and I
- 20:26Speaker 5: would go around and get a little heavy in circle,
- 20:30Speaker 5: you know, Pat, that would just be like, listen, you know,
- 20:33Speaker 5: we share all sorts of emotions in school. You know,
- 20:36Speaker 5: we get angry, you know, we might we might be
- 20:41Speaker 5: super happy, joyful, smile, funny, whatever, But some of the
- 20:47Speaker 5: more difficult emotions, you know, and he likes to call
- 20:52Speaker 5: him difficult because you know, they're not bad or native,
- 20:57Speaker 5: they're just difficult because we don't practice them in school
- 21:02Speaker 5: or really a lot of times anywhere. And so, you know,
- 21:07Speaker 5: as I've kind of progressed with getting hang out and
- 21:10Speaker 5: do lots of circles with students and just letting letting
- 21:15Speaker 5: students know, like, hey, you know, they're only difficult because
- 21:18Speaker 5: we don't practice them. Okay, to practice them, sure, And
- 21:24Speaker 5: so it's pretty incredible, man.
- 21:26Speaker 2: When you're sitting in a circle of students. How many
- 21:32Speaker 2: are we're talking like what fifteen twenty?
- 21:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean It could really all depend I mean,
- 21:38Speaker 5: I've done circles with three or four kids in it,
- 21:42Speaker 5: but I've done circles up to you know, twenty five.
- 21:46Speaker 5: You get past twenty and the emotional sharing just starts
- 21:50Speaker 5: to kind of drop. Oh wow, yeah, too big of
- 21:54Speaker 5: a group. It just it makes it difficult for people
- 21:59Speaker 5: to open up. The The real sweet spot is that
- 22:01Speaker 5: ten to fifteen number. It just gives you, especially if
- 22:07Speaker 5: you have like a forty minute class period, Yeah, you
- 22:11Speaker 5: go much above that. You're running into maybe getting through
- 22:15Speaker 5: one question and that's about it. Interesting and whatnot. So
- 22:19Speaker 5: the ten to fifteen ranges is really the great and
- 22:24Speaker 5: golden range. But you know, I've done ones with you know,
- 22:28Speaker 5: twenty five twenty eight kids in them, you know, because
- 22:31Speaker 5: it's a whole class. And that's.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, when you have that many kids together, you know,
- 22:40Speaker 2: some are some are just love and life right now.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Things are going really well. Maybe they had a boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Maybe they're doing well in school things, you're great in
- 22:57Speaker 2: the home life, they're they're they're they're feeling good their
- 23:02Speaker 2: loving life. And then you got others that maybe are
- 23:06Speaker 2: carrying some some real weight and and there's some stuff
- 23:09Speaker 2: going on behind the scenes that that you don't know about,
- 23:12Speaker 2: but but they get that that smile on the face.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I mean, it's like, man, you you got a mix
- 23:19Speaker 2: of a ton of stuff. When you're sitting down in
- 23:21Speaker 2: a circle with with a bunch of kids like that,
- 23:23Speaker 2: I would imagine. But the the primary message I think
- 23:28Speaker 2: that you guys are are pushing is have some compassion,
- 23:36Speaker 2: have some empathy, have some understanding for each other. If
- 23:44Speaker 2: you're the jock, think think differently about that kid in
- 23:54Speaker 2: the school who might be email yeah or kind of geeky,
- 24:07Speaker 2: have some if you can't really find some relatability, at
- 24:17Speaker 2: least have some empathy and and some try to understand
- 24:23Speaker 2: that these are people just like you, man, who are
- 24:28Speaker 2: or in the same school as you, trying to do
- 24:30Speaker 2: the same things as you, and they want to be
- 24:34Speaker 2: happy and content with life and successful just like you.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I don't know, man, that's that's that's kind of what
- 24:45Speaker 2: would run through my head if I was walking in
- 24:49Speaker 2: your shoes brother.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Yeah, man, one. I mean, you know, one of the
- 24:55Speaker 5: things that I've been doing a lot more recently in
- 24:57Speaker 5: my circles, especially towards the end, is you know, with
- 25:01Speaker 5: whatever comes up and whatever we talk about whether it
- 25:05Speaker 5: be funny, whether it be you know, just fun in general,
- 25:11Speaker 5: or maybe it's maybe it's a little heavier, bringing it
- 25:15Speaker 5: back to the fact of that we're all humans. And
- 25:20Speaker 5: I think that you know, it's easy to say, oh, yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 5: of course we're all we're all humans, but to really
- 25:26Speaker 5: take a step back and do just like what you
- 25:29Speaker 5: were talking about, and think about the fact that every
- 25:31Speaker 5: human being has their own hopes, dreams, aspirations, desires, fears.
- 25:38Speaker 5: Everybody has, you know, their own unique life force that
- 25:44Speaker 5: is driving them in this world. And you know, when
- 25:49Speaker 5: I get to the end of a circle and I
- 25:50Speaker 5: can bring it full circle back around to the fact
- 25:54Speaker 5: that hey, like, for instance, you know, I ask a
- 25:57Speaker 5: question like, what was your first what was the first
- 26:00Speaker 5: time you ever remember being afraid? You know, pat, And
- 26:03Speaker 5: I asked that quite a bit throughout some of the
- 26:05Speaker 5: different circles during Halloween, right, you know, these holidays give
- 26:10Speaker 5: us kind of some interesting and cool ends, right And
- 26:15Speaker 5: and this is where it really hit me. You know,
- 26:17Speaker 5: it started going around in some circles and and I
- 26:21Speaker 5: started listening, and you know, some of them were funny.
- 26:24Speaker 5: I don't know if you remember the whole thing of
- 26:26Speaker 5: like momo, remember Momo.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I do, I sure do.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I scared a lot of kids scared me. Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 5: I remember seeing it one time. That's it, And yeah
- 26:40Speaker 5: it's freaky. But a lot of a lot of students,
- 26:42Speaker 5: especially in high school, like that was coming out when
- 26:45Speaker 5: they were they were little kids, and they remember or
- 26:50Speaker 5: even you know, I had this one young man talk
- 26:52Speaker 5: about how he was pretty young, but he's on a
- 26:56Speaker 5: little canoe trip on a big on a big lake
- 27:01Speaker 5: with with his dad, and this huge storm rolled in
- 27:06Speaker 5: and there was lightning everywhere. It was like striking the water,
- 27:09Speaker 5: and he thought he was gonna die. And it was
- 27:12Speaker 5: the first time he ever remembered being, you know, truly afraid,
- 27:15Speaker 5: you know. And and and as it was going around
- 27:18Speaker 5: in that circle, I'm listening and and it hits me,
- 27:22Speaker 5: you know a lot of times, like Pat myself, Tom,
- 27:26Speaker 5: we might relate circle to something that our ancestors did,
- 27:29Speaker 5: like sitting around a campfire, one person talk and everybody
- 27:32Speaker 5: else would just listen. And uh So what hit me
- 27:36Speaker 5: in in that moment was why do we why do
- 27:39Speaker 5: we tell scary stories around around a campfire? Like what's
- 27:44Speaker 5: the point of Like, I'm not a scary. I'm not
- 27:46Speaker 5: a scary story type of due, but I come to
- 27:49Speaker 5: a campfire, I'll sit down and listen to a scary story.
- 27:51Speaker 5: It's like what we do. And and I started asking
- 27:54Speaker 5: myself this is it was going around a circle and
- 27:56Speaker 5: it gets this young man that talks about the lake
- 27:58Speaker 5: and and and it hit me, and I was like,
- 28:01Speaker 5: maybe we talk about scary stories around a circle because
- 28:05Speaker 5: it's a good marker of our humanity, like the fact
- 28:09Speaker 5: that we're all mortal, you know, the fact that we
- 28:13Speaker 5: all have the potential of of of passing away from
- 28:17Speaker 5: this world, you know, at any minute. And and this
- 28:22Speaker 5: fear that that that can grip us as human beings
- 28:24Speaker 5: because of that mortality. You know, if we were immortal
- 28:27Speaker 5: and we were invincible, you know, there'd be a lot
- 28:29Speaker 5: less things to be afraid, right sure. And uh, and
- 28:33Speaker 5: it just hit me, you know, like that's that's one
- 28:35Speaker 5: of the reasons we share that and that you know,
- 28:38Speaker 5: that's a that's a fear, and everybody's got some fears,
- 28:41Speaker 5: and you start talking about things that you hope for.
- 28:45Speaker 5: Everybody's got some hope. I've been on this new kick,
- 28:48Speaker 5: and I'll try it again tomorrow and try it again
- 28:52Speaker 5: on Friday. But Christmas, it's Christmas time, right, and what
- 28:59Speaker 5: is the what does Christmas mean to you?
- 29:03Speaker 2: You know, honestly just all not to sound cliche, but
- 29:09Speaker 2: all I ever want to do on Christmas is just
- 29:14Speaker 2: sit on the couch with the family, watch movies, eat popcorn,
- 29:23Speaker 2: maybe some sweets, and just watch Christmas movies with my kid,
- 29:29Speaker 2: cuttle under a blanket, have a hot cup of something
- 29:35Speaker 2: and just be quiet. Man. It's like it. I mean,
- 29:38Speaker 2: there's a lot of decorating going on in my house,
- 29:40Speaker 2: which is a huge tradition. Charylyn has thousands of bins
- 29:47Speaker 2: up in the attic, possibly tens of thousands, and they
- 29:54Speaker 2: all come down and she starts decorating the day after
- 29:58Speaker 2: Thanksgiving and she will still be decorating for Christmas after Christmas.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's it's a process you can only
- 30:09Speaker 2: you know, you can only decorate for two to three
- 30:12Speaker 2: hours every single day, and then you need to take
- 30:14Speaker 2: a break and pick it up the next day. So
- 30:18Speaker 2: there's a lot of decorating. The lighting in the house,
- 30:22Speaker 2: there's you know, dim dim lights and Christmas lights all
- 30:25Speaker 2: over the ceiling and everything, and it just I just
- 30:27Speaker 2: want to be quiet, man, it's not about for me.
- 30:29Speaker 2: It's just not about presents and gifts and stuff. I mean,
- 30:33Speaker 2: it is for Lily, but I just I just want
- 30:36Speaker 2: to be with my family, maybe do some snowshoeing. That's
- 30:39Speaker 2: what Christmas is about for me.
- 30:43Speaker 5: No, that's awesome, that's beautiful man. You know, it's something
- 30:48Speaker 5: I've been asking students more often because I never really
- 30:52Speaker 5: celebrate Christmas growing up. It was never a part of
- 30:56Speaker 5: what my family did. So I get to this time
- 30:59Speaker 5: of year, I really I really like to ask people.
- 31:02Speaker 5: I like to ask students like, hey, what is it?
- 31:04Speaker 5: What is it about? You know, for you and you know,
- 31:09Speaker 5: because I didn't get to celebrate it grown up, but
- 31:12Speaker 5: I've done a good bit of you know, research on it,
- 31:14Speaker 5: the history of it and things like that. And this
- 31:17Speaker 5: is something I told a couple of students in a
- 31:20Speaker 5: circle the other day. But you know, from from doing
- 31:24Speaker 5: some research on it. You know, it came from this
- 31:27Speaker 5: you know, you know, as a Christian tradition. It came
- 31:30Speaker 5: from you know, this idea that this one guy who
- 31:35Speaker 5: was you know, came into the world two thousand years ago,
- 31:39Speaker 5: was gonna you know, fix everything in the world right
- 31:42Speaker 5: and and I started thinking on my way over to
- 31:46Speaker 5: a school what Christmas like, even though I don't celebrate,
- 31:53Speaker 5: Like what this time, you know, is about. And there's
- 31:58Speaker 5: one thing that popped in my head. Hope. You know,
- 32:02Speaker 5: whether you're religious or not, it's it's about hope. And
- 32:07Speaker 5: I started hearing some of that for some of these students,
- 32:09Speaker 5: you know, even if it's the hope of we get
- 32:13Speaker 5: two weeks are coming up, like I'm so excited about
- 32:15Speaker 5: the two weeks that we just get off and we
- 32:17Speaker 5: get to happy. And then you know, even for you know, teachers,
- 32:21Speaker 5: the same thing, like they're they're hopeful to get a
- 32:25Speaker 5: break themselves. But then even like the hope of getting
- 32:30Speaker 5: to see family members that you don't usually get to see.
- 32:33Speaker 5: I heard that a lot from students. You know, I
- 32:35Speaker 5: don't get to see my cousins all the time, but
- 32:37Speaker 5: Christmas time, I get to see them, and you know,
- 32:42Speaker 5: it's hope, hold on. Possibilities exist. And I think for
- 32:48Speaker 5: me that the time of Christmas comes at one of
- 32:52Speaker 5: the most difficult times in the Northern Hemisphere for a
- 32:58Speaker 5: lot of people, when it gets real cold and really
- 33:02Speaker 5: snowy and you're locked in much more, you get way
- 33:05Speaker 5: less vitamin D, And I think it's a time to
- 33:11Speaker 5: reflect on hope and all the possibilities that do exist,
- 33:16Speaker 5: to be with family and to put up the decorations
- 33:21Speaker 5: and and and enjoy doing that. Like I think, I
- 33:23Speaker 5: think it's incredible. And I think that, you know, I
- 33:27Speaker 5: meet a lot of students this time of year where
- 33:29Speaker 5: they don't have much hope because they don't get much
- 33:33Speaker 5: time with family, and if they do get a lot
- 33:35Speaker 5: of time with their family, that sometimes their family is
- 33:38Speaker 5: just absolutely awful to be around. Yeah, but I still
- 33:43Speaker 5: believe that, you know, as a community, you know, and
- 33:47Speaker 5: as human beings, we can try to give as much
- 33:50Speaker 5: hope as we can to those people as well during
- 33:53Speaker 5: this season. You know, whether it is giving or whether
- 33:57Speaker 5: it's just simply speaking a kind word and giving them
- 34:02Speaker 5: that possibility to hold on to that you know, they
- 34:06Speaker 5: are worth something, they are being you know.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Hope is. It's a powerful, powerful word. And I've had
- 34:18Speaker 2: conversations with with Tom and Rick even off the air
- 34:24Speaker 2: about hope and we'll get into it. I'll get into
- 34:31Speaker 2: it with those boys at some point. But hold on,
- 34:34Speaker 2: possibilities exist. It's an acronym that that Tom and Rick
- 34:39Speaker 2: at all of you have kind of crafted empathy action.
- 34:47Speaker 2: These are also dare I say buzzwords that Sweethearts and
- 34:54Speaker 2: Heroes hanks their hat on. These are really really powerful
- 35:00Speaker 2: things that you guys bring to schools. And I want
- 35:05Speaker 2: to talk about stop drop and roll the bullying presentation.
- 35:12Speaker 2: And you guys have just been in a whole bunch
- 35:14Speaker 2: of schools right around Central from Aunt Warren, Waitesfield Fasting
- 35:20Speaker 2: just in the last couple of days bringing your message
- 35:26Speaker 2: there to those schools. But we're getting to question here,
- 35:30Speaker 2: what's the best way to refer schools in need of
- 35:36Speaker 2: the Sweethearts and Heroes program.
- 35:42Speaker 5: To refer like to get us in their schools. Yes,
- 35:46Speaker 5: so definitely the best way would be, you know, through
- 35:50Speaker 5: our website Sweethearts and Heroes dot com and you can
- 35:56Speaker 5: find emails on there for somebody like Winton Buddington, he
- 36:05Speaker 5: does a lot of our scheduling, Tom's person or you
- 36:10Speaker 5: know Sweethearts and Heroes emails on there. Brian McKeon, my brother,
- 36:15Speaker 5: He takes in a number of referrals, So that would
- 36:20Speaker 5: be definitely the best way is to send them over
- 36:23Speaker 5: to the website and have them, you know, look at
- 36:27Speaker 5: the stuff the neat thing about the website is is
- 36:30Speaker 5: we have a lot put into there for schools to
- 36:34Speaker 5: look at and for schools to do a little bit
- 36:38Speaker 5: of diving into to see if it really is something
- 36:42Speaker 5: they want. I mean, we would say every school in
- 36:45Speaker 5: America needs this, but you know, the school itself has
- 36:49Speaker 5: to kind of has to choose that for themselves. But
- 36:54Speaker 5: the website would be the number one way that I
- 36:57Speaker 5: would recommend people kind of give our information out for sure.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And then you've got this brave leadership team system. Talk
- 37:12Speaker 2: about you know, and I'm guessing Tom's the brainchild to this,
- 37:18Speaker 2: I don't know, but I mean, you talk about a
- 37:21Speaker 2: way to sustain the great messaging that you guys are
- 37:25Speaker 2: bringing into schools where you're you're actually training, you're teaching
- 37:29Speaker 2: kids to kind of do what you guys are doing,
- 37:33Speaker 2: so that when you're not there, sweetheart scenarios is still
- 37:37Speaker 2: having a consistent impact on students.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Yeah, well, that's that's really the ultimate goal. Right. It's
- 37:47Speaker 5: easy to to go into a school and give a
- 37:50Speaker 5: presentation and then leave, right, but to have the students
- 37:57Speaker 5: become equipped, the teachers become equipped to carry on the
- 38:03Speaker 5: principles and the just the great axioms of sweethearts and
- 38:08Speaker 5: heroes is really the key, and so like that's what
- 38:11Speaker 5: myself and Pat Fish do a lot of the Braves program,
- 38:18Speaker 5: you know, first started out as a six week program
- 38:22Speaker 5: that was designed to give schools a little bit more
- 38:29Speaker 5: after the presentation. So we've always you know, we've done
- 38:32Speaker 5: our circles right, and that's a route that schools can
- 38:38Speaker 5: go and have us come in and do a couple
- 38:39Speaker 5: of circle visits. But you know, as it was before
- 38:43Speaker 5: my time, but probably seven or eight years ago, a
- 38:47Speaker 5: lot of schools were asking, hey, like these bully drills
- 38:50Speaker 5: are fantastic, but how do we implement them? Like what
- 38:55Speaker 5: like like you did such a great job, Tom, but
- 38:58Speaker 5: how do we how do we implement them? And that's
- 39:01Speaker 5: where Tom you know, really started to work out this
- 39:05Speaker 5: Brave six week program and then Pat Fish actually it
- 39:09Speaker 5: was handed to him kind of to make it better.
- 39:14Speaker 5: And so you know, really for the last five or
- 39:18Speaker 5: six years, you know, I think Pat's been really working
- 39:22Speaker 5: on that and it's it's this turned into a teaser
- 39:26Speaker 5: program for our Braves classes. Yeah, oh that's like that's
- 39:33Speaker 5: where we've had to now, right, So I go in
- 39:36Speaker 5: and do a lot of Teaser Brave six week programs
- 39:40Speaker 5: where you take older students. Typically they can be from
- 39:44Speaker 5: high school all the way down to upper elementary. Like
- 39:47Speaker 5: I'm in a school right now where I'm taking fifth
- 39:50Speaker 5: graders down to first graders and we sit with them
- 39:54Speaker 5: for a day. We train them on what leadership is,
- 39:59Speaker 5: on the fact that they have influence in their school,
- 40:03Speaker 5: especially when they go down to these younger grade levels
- 40:06Speaker 5: because they're the cool older kid. But we train them
- 40:09Speaker 5: to have some fun with them, do little tiny mini circles,
- 40:13Speaker 5: what we call hero huddles where they get to know
- 40:16Speaker 5: the students and get to have some real discussions, and
- 40:18Speaker 5: then they move into practicing bully drills. And ultimately, at
- 40:24Speaker 5: the end of the little sessions we have with the
- 40:27Speaker 5: younger students, we get to show our bully drills off.
- 40:29Speaker 5: They're like little skits, and then we get to rewind
- 40:32Speaker 5: the tape talk about what happened in them, and that's
- 40:35Speaker 5: where the real magic happens. We get to have a conversation,
- 40:39Speaker 5: you know, oh, what was the bully doing, Like, how
- 40:42Speaker 5: are they bullying them?
- 40:43Speaker 2: Oh?
- 40:43Speaker 5: They were making fun of their clothes. Is that something
- 40:46Speaker 5: that somebody could get bully for? Yeah, that's something that
- 40:49Speaker 5: somebody could get bully for. Maybe that's their only pair
- 40:52Speaker 5: of clothes that they have, and yeah, they smell, but
- 40:56Speaker 5: that's all they have. But they get picked on every
- 40:58Speaker 5: single day because they're wearing the same clothes. And that's
- 41:03Speaker 5: where the magic gets to happen. You get to have
- 41:05Speaker 5: those conversations, and ultimately, by the six weeks the end
- 41:08Speaker 5: of it, the older students are running everything. So I
- 41:12Speaker 5: go in and run the first part of it and
- 41:15Speaker 5: show them how to do it. But then they should
- 41:17Speaker 5: be able to go down without me around, and really
- 41:21Speaker 5: hopefully without an adult around, go down and run this
- 41:26Speaker 5: program by themselves, and that will then lead them into
- 41:31Speaker 5: hopefully their school the following year starting a Braves class,
- 41:36Speaker 5: which is a year long accredited class that we bring
- 41:40Speaker 5: into schools and we by way of Champion Teachers, so
- 41:44Speaker 5: we give the curriculum through this platform that we've partnered
- 41:49Speaker 5: with called Thrively. We give them the curriculum and the
- 41:52Speaker 5: teachers become Champion teachers and they teach this year long
- 41:57Speaker 5: class where they learn much more of the nuts and
- 42:02Speaker 5: bolts of leadership, of circle, of these bully drills of play,
- 42:08Speaker 5: and how how important play is for the development of
- 42:14Speaker 5: human beings. Uh, so they learn it's probably you know,
- 42:19Speaker 5: you know, he is my brother, Brian, but he's he's
- 42:22Speaker 5: done most of the work on that, and it's probably
- 42:26Speaker 5: just the only type of course of its kind. And
- 42:29Speaker 5: it's phenomenal, you guys.
- 42:32Speaker 2: I have learned so much from from you and and
- 42:35Speaker 2: Brian and and Pat. You know, one of the conversations
- 42:39Speaker 2: that all three of us have had is is about
- 42:43Speaker 2: defining what, what what bullying is and the the feelings
- 42:49Speaker 2: that are are that are associated with it. And man,
- 42:52Speaker 2: there is so much gray area with this and just
- 42:57Speaker 2: that does a fine line between I mean, goofing around,
- 43:02Speaker 2: joking around being immature, but also maybe saying something or
- 43:12Speaker 2: doing something that you're not even aware of that is
- 43:16Speaker 2: making that other student feel uncomfortable or or threatened. But
- 43:23Speaker 2: it's not always taking the shape of you know, out
- 43:29Speaker 2: on the playground or at the bus stop, you know,
- 43:34Speaker 2: pulling someone's hair or a spitball, you know, the classic
- 43:38Speaker 2: stuff that we all know, or beating somebody up at
- 43:42Speaker 2: you know, after school or whatever. It's not it doesn't
- 43:45Speaker 2: always take that shape, bro, and you guys do such
- 43:50Speaker 2: a great job breaking it down, and I I just
- 43:54Speaker 2: have to wonder how many students have said to themselves,
- 44:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, I never thought of that way. Maybe
- 44:09Speaker 2: maybe I'm bullying someone. Maybe I'm a bully. I never
- 44:16Speaker 2: thought of it that way. Am I a bully? Am I?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Am I treating this person like a bully? And only
- 44:29Speaker 2: they can ask that question, answer that question and change.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I just wonder how many bullies you guys have had
- 44:40Speaker 2: in your bully training. Well, I mean, we're talking about
- 44:46Speaker 2: and a half two and a half million students across
- 44:50Speaker 2: New England in Canada that you guys have brought this stop,
- 44:54Speaker 2: Drop and Roll bullying program to over the last sixteen years.
- 45:00Speaker 2: There's got to be a good number in there.
- 45:05Speaker 5: Yeah, one hundred percent, especially when you're talking about you know,
- 45:09Speaker 5: the presentations themselves, you know, and and you know I
- 45:12Speaker 5: I I uh do often wonder, you know, if if
- 45:17Speaker 5: if I was a bully sitting it through that presentation,
- 45:20Speaker 5: how I would feel?
- 45:21Speaker 2: Right?
- 45:23Speaker 5: It would be pretty you know, if it if it
- 45:26Speaker 5: hit me right? You know one of the things, you know,
- 45:28Speaker 5: the fourth thing about bullying is happens on purpose. But
- 45:33Speaker 5: you know, I think something that can that can happen
- 45:37Speaker 5: on purpose, you may still feel justified in doing it,
- 45:42Speaker 5: you know, for one reason or the other. Uh and
- 45:45Speaker 5: uh and so to sit through you know, that presentation
- 45:51Speaker 5: and then and then likewise, you know, sometimes we get students,
- 45:55Speaker 5: even in our six week programs that you know, it's
- 45:59Speaker 5: it's difficult quote for me to say definitively because I haven't.
- 46:03Speaker 5: I haven't necessarily, I don't walk the halls to the
- 46:06Speaker 5: school and see it every day, right, But you know
- 46:09Speaker 5: that would that I would, I would probably say, oh,
- 46:12Speaker 5: it could be borderline, you know, that they might be
- 46:14Speaker 5: bullying that individual. I'm thinking of one specific group and
- 46:18Speaker 5: there's this one young man that's you know, in it,
- 46:21Speaker 5: and any any chance anybody has to call him out
- 46:25Speaker 5: or to to kind of go after him, they do
- 46:29Speaker 5: and uh and and so it it does happen. And
- 46:32Speaker 5: I think, but what you're hitting on is is important
- 46:35Speaker 5: sometimes that self realization that oh I'm I'm I'm being
- 46:44Speaker 5: a bully. Yeah. I don't know that I've ever even
- 46:48Speaker 5: thought about it that way, but it's a good perspective
- 46:50Speaker 5: to have, you know, because as I'm thinking, you know,
- 46:55Speaker 5: there are times in my life where you know, you
- 46:58Speaker 5: treat somebody a certain way because either they did something
- 47:02Speaker 5: to you or you know whatever, and and and you
- 47:05Speaker 5: end up having these long time you know, grudges towards
- 47:10Speaker 5: them and even family members, you know, And I don't know,
- 47:14Speaker 5: you know it could it be necessarily considered bullying. It depends.
- 47:19Speaker 5: It's got to have those four things that make up bullying.
- 47:22Speaker 5: It's got to be mean or scary. It's got to
- 47:24Speaker 5: happen over and over again. It's gotta make the person
- 47:28Speaker 5: feel on the insights smaller or weaker. It's got to
- 47:32Speaker 5: happen on purpose. But you know, humans are pretty easily
- 47:36Speaker 5: deceived by themselves, and uh, yeah, it'd be it would be. Uh,
- 47:40Speaker 5: I don't I don't know how you'd ever find that
- 47:43Speaker 5: statistic of the amount of you know, bullies that have
- 47:46Speaker 5: through a presentation, you know, and and thought that, But
- 47:50Speaker 5: it's an interesting number to wonder about.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the rest of you? Guys have have been
- 47:57Speaker 2: so busy this school year and here we are into
- 48:00Speaker 2: Christmas break. What's the what's this week looking like for you?
- 48:05Speaker 2: What is Josiah McKeon going to be doing rest of
- 48:08Speaker 2: this week and maybe next?
- 48:12Speaker 5: So this week I was just in Warsaw, New York yesterday.
- 48:20Speaker 5: Today I'm headed down to Hastings on Hudson, which is
- 48:25Speaker 5: all the way down by the Bronx and Yonkers. So
- 48:28Speaker 5: I'll be there tomorrow finishing up actually one of these
- 48:31Speaker 5: six week Braves programs with their tenth graders going down
- 48:34Speaker 5: to these third graders, and they've just been an absolutely
- 48:37Speaker 5: phenomenal group, absolutely incredible. I tell them every time I
- 48:41Speaker 5: go down there, I say, you guys are amazing. You're
- 48:43Speaker 5: one of my favorites. And they're like, you told us
- 48:45Speaker 5: to everybody was like, Okay, you can believe that, but
- 48:47Speaker 5: you guys really are doing just incredible job and they're
- 48:51Speaker 5: they're just focused and they understand why they're doing it,
- 48:56Speaker 5: because that bullying situation could be the last straw for
- 48:59Speaker 5: that person's hope and and that's really why we need
- 49:04Speaker 5: to jump into action within those ten seconds. And then
- 49:08Speaker 5: I'm end of my week at at oesj as I
- 49:11Speaker 5: always do it on Fridays. I think they have a
- 49:14Speaker 5: pep rally, which is pretty cool at the end of
- 49:18Speaker 5: the day because that's their last day until break and
- 49:23Speaker 5: and it actually is my last day until break as well.
- 49:27Speaker 5: I will be taking my wife and family down to
- 49:30Speaker 5: visit her down to North Carolina. After that so.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awesome, man.
- 49:38Speaker 5: You know, so it's gonna be a good week.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Yeah, have you You and I've chatted a little bit
- 49:46Speaker 2: about this in the past, but have you recently have
- 49:49Speaker 2: have any of these schools or students or experiences taking
- 49:55Speaker 2: you a little bit out of your comfort zone unexpected.
- 50:01Speaker 5: Every day, especially especially you know yesterday, you know, just
- 50:10Speaker 5: working with some fifth graders, and and uh you know
- 50:13Speaker 5: I I I tend to as a human being, get
- 50:18Speaker 5: frustrated quite easily, get angry, quite quite easily. And uh
- 50:25Speaker 5: I worked very hard in my professional life and in
- 50:28Speaker 5: my personal life to overcome that. Last week though with
- 50:34Speaker 5: some some of these fifth graders. You know, my I'm
- 50:37Speaker 5: gonna say I got short with them. My short with
- 50:39Speaker 5: them in a professional sense is is is not not
- 50:43Speaker 5: very bad, but but it's it's bad for my heart.
- 50:49Speaker 5: And so you know, I was sitting down with them
- 50:52Speaker 5: yesterday in a little bit of a circle before we
- 50:54Speaker 5: took them down to the first graders, and we were
- 50:58Speaker 5: chatting about some things, and you know, just was on
- 51:02Speaker 5: my heart to apologize to the whole group. So I
- 51:05Speaker 5: just looked them and said, hey, you know, I'm sorry
- 51:08Speaker 5: that I got short with you last week, and a
- 51:10Speaker 5: couple of them gave me like, a, I don't remember
- 51:13Speaker 5: you being short, And I was like, you might not
- 51:15Speaker 5: think I was short with you, but I was short
- 51:17Speaker 5: with you in my heart. I was getting I was
- 51:20Speaker 5: getting a little fed up. And I just looked at them.
- 51:22Speaker 5: I said, you know, you guys might get that quite
- 51:25Speaker 5: a bit in your lives, and that's not my that's
- 51:28Speaker 5: not my role here. My role here is to be
- 51:31Speaker 5: here for you, guys, and to show you patience and
- 51:34Speaker 5: to show you the things that we are looking for
- 51:39Speaker 5: you guys to do for these first graders, because it's
- 51:42Speaker 5: tough for fifth grade going down the first grade, and
- 51:45Speaker 5: you know, fifth grader's got a lot going on, and
- 51:48Speaker 5: they're trying to go down and wrangle these you know,
- 51:51Speaker 5: fifth graders to get them into you know, spots to
- 51:54Speaker 5: perform bully drills in this, and then and they get
- 51:56Speaker 5: frustrated and they get short with these first graders, and
- 52:00Speaker 5: and and if we're gonna, if we're gonna change the
- 52:03Speaker 5: world as adults and then eventually as these students, it starts.
- 52:08Speaker 5: It starts right here. Because we can't we can't, we
- 52:13Speaker 5: can't encourage anybody to do better if we're not training
- 52:17Speaker 5: better every single day. So I just got to share
- 52:21Speaker 5: that with them. And you know, the their their their
- 52:25Speaker 5: attention span is is difficult and they're always talking. I
- 52:27Speaker 5: can never get three words out. But you know, after
- 52:31Speaker 5: apologizing to them, they were just locked in. We had
- 52:34Speaker 5: a great conversation. They did a wonderful job going down
- 52:37Speaker 5: to the first graders and just extremely impressed with them.
- 52:41Speaker 5: But they they they just need some vulnerability from us adults.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Too, And yeah, gosh, I've had that experience with with
- 52:53Speaker 2: Lily before and it's yeah, yeah, tumbling really is you
- 53:00Speaker 2: know it. The other Monday, when I was over at
- 53:05Speaker 2: Cody Chevrolet and got a chance to spend some time
- 53:13Speaker 2: with Rick and Tom, and Rick was signing his book
- 53:16Speaker 2: A Bridge named Amos, and meeting the crowd over there
- 53:21Speaker 2: and chatting with these guys and having some laughs but
- 53:27Speaker 2: also asking them, you know, and especially Rick was talking
- 53:34Speaker 2: about hope. It can take on so many different forms,
- 53:42Speaker 2: lack of hope. That's what I'm talking about. What do
- 53:47Speaker 2: you say to someone Let's take you out of the
- 53:49Speaker 2: school right now as we wrap up, what do you
- 53:52Speaker 2: say to someone, Josiah, including yourself, who might be experiencing,
- 54:04Speaker 2: especially during the holidays. Man, there's so much crap going on.
- 54:08Speaker 5: Bro.
- 54:10Speaker 2: Who might be experiencing a pinch of hopelessness, depression, anxiety, resentment,
- 54:23Speaker 2: some of these heavy things. I can't wait for the
- 54:28Speaker 2: damn holidays to be over with. You know, what do
- 54:31Speaker 2: you say to somebody who's walking around angry right now,
- 54:36Speaker 2: chip on the shoulder, not feeling the spirit of the season,
- 54:42Speaker 2: and maybe discouraged.
- 54:46Speaker 5: That's a great question, honestly, man. Only one thing really
- 54:51Speaker 5: comes to my mind, and it's it's something that that
- 54:55Speaker 5: I have to do every single day and and and
- 54:58Speaker 5: work hard at. But UH is to carry that spirit
- 55:01Speaker 5: from the previous holiday over of thankfulness and uh and
- 55:07Speaker 5: and and and pause and just think about all the
- 55:13Speaker 5: different things that you can be thankful for, even if
- 55:16Speaker 5: they're really small, but naming them out loud.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Uh.
- 55:21Speaker 5: I I personally I think that Uh. You know, I
- 55:28Speaker 5: guess I'm a little bullheaded in this. I I'll tell myself, dude,
- 55:33Speaker 5: I'm not willing to be that person. I'm not willing
- 55:37Speaker 5: to do it. I've been that person before. I know
- 55:40Speaker 5: people that struggle with that, and and and and I
- 55:44Speaker 5: want to do better, not just for my family, but
- 55:47Speaker 5: for for all those around me. So I I just
- 55:50Speaker 5: kind of I forced myself, Okay, come on, time to
- 55:53Speaker 5: be thankful. What are you thankful for? Even if even
- 55:57Speaker 5: if it's I'm just thankful the day is over, It's
- 56:00Speaker 5: okay time, Right, they go down and and uh, you know,
- 56:07Speaker 5: we they go down to these first graders and and
- 56:10Speaker 5: they're just like ah, and we ask them, you know, hey,
- 56:14Speaker 5: well you know, what's what's something that went really well?
- 56:18Speaker 5: Even if you're just glad it's over, Like, what's something
- 56:20Speaker 5: you're thankful for? So I don't know that would be
- 56:24Speaker 5: my thing, you know, during the season, as if keep
- 56:28Speaker 5: carrying that. I'm working on being thankful, even if it's
- 56:31Speaker 5: just one thing a day. You think, thankfulness gratefulness is
- 56:37Speaker 5: one of the best cures to to almost any negative
- 56:45Speaker 5: thing that we're experiencing our lives, especially especially when you
- 56:48Speaker 5: feel like you don't have much to be thankful for.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Sure. Yeah, it's not easy, bro, it's not.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Man.
- 56:57Speaker 2: I I love having you on and I can't wait
- 57:02Speaker 2: to have you back in the studio. I can't wait
- 57:04Speaker 2: to see you again, you and your brother everyone over
- 57:08Speaker 2: at Sweethearts and Heroes. You guys just frankly are kicking
- 57:12Speaker 2: ass every day all the time.
- 57:17Speaker 5: We appreciate you, man. I look forward to these calls,
- 57:20Speaker 5: and I really really look forward to getting there in
- 57:23Speaker 5: person and and and being able to sit down and
- 57:26Speaker 5: have a cup of coffee with you and and and
- 57:28Speaker 5: chat on on air. I just it's it's something I
- 57:32Speaker 5: look forward to when I get to do it. So
- 57:34Speaker 5: thank you for for having us on. Thank you for
- 57:37Speaker 5: you know, partnering with us and get us on every Wednesday.
- 57:41Speaker 5: It's pretty Uh, it's pretty incredible that you you take
- 57:44Speaker 5: your wednesdays to do that and chat with us people
- 57:50Speaker 5: just trying to do what we can to make a
- 57:53Speaker 5: difference in the world.
- 57:54Speaker 2: I appreciate love you guys. Man. I got to tell you,
- 58:00Speaker 2: uh to finish out, and you know I always love
- 58:02Speaker 2: to try to finish On a light note, if I
- 58:05Speaker 2: had a dollar for every cookie that Tom Murphy put
- 58:13Speaker 2: down the other day at Cody's Chevrolet, I'd be filthy
- 58:17Speaker 2: rich my man.
- 58:18Speaker 5: I mean, no way, cookie he was.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Getting like double fisting at one point. Whoa he had
- 58:26Speaker 2: all go the chocolate ones, he had the the white
- 58:30Speaker 2: chocolate chip. I mean he was just and Rick too,
- 58:34Speaker 2: but I mean Tom out did Rick.
- 58:37Speaker 5: Oh way, Yes, that's like I'm gonna have to chew
- 58:41Speaker 5: on that for the rest of the day.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Please please do and and spread the word that Tom
- 58:47Speaker 2: Murphy cannot resist cookies ever.
- 58:50Speaker 5: He's back on the You know, I've known time my
- 58:53Speaker 5: whole life, and he's he's resisted cookies a lot. But
- 58:56Speaker 5: that that's so that really surprises me.
- 58:59Speaker 2: It's all a show, and it's all a show.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Joe. You must be feeling the holiday spirit.
- 59:04Speaker 2: That's exactly what it is. And final question, how many
- 59:10Speaker 2: pull ups can we do on the on the bar
- 59:12Speaker 2: hanging behind you.
- 59:15Speaker 5: Right now?
- 59:16Speaker 2: Yeah? Right now?
- 59:17Speaker 5: I might be able to get fifteen?
- 59:19Speaker 2: Are you serious? Dude?
- 59:20Speaker 5: I struggle, Yeah, I probably pull something.
- 59:24Speaker 2: Freaking awesome dude. And and final comment to you, Harris,
- 59:30Speaker 2: looking great this morning.
- 59:32Speaker 5: But he he thank you, Come on hard, I'm bringing
- 59:35Speaker 5: it back.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I'll talk to you soon, brother, all right, love you, brother. Yeah, man,
- 59:42Speaker 2: over and out, Joe, Sie mcken, everybody from Sweethearts and Heroes.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Guy that's been joining me for a long time. And

- 1:01:12Speaker 2: to know. Also, I want to mention that the twenty
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: second is coming really soon. Why is the twenty second
