Speaker 1: Can we reform SNAP?
• 0:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, the people you really need them. It's meant for people.
• 0:06
Speaker 3: And you know what it does is it really puts
• 0:08
Speaker 3: the comfort in the country a jeopardy.
• 0:10
Speaker 2: People that need it have to get it. I'm all
• 0:12
Speaker 2: for it. But people that are able bodied can do
• 0:15
Speaker 2: a job, they leave their job because they figure they
• 0:17
Speaker 2: can pick this up it's easier. That's not the purpose
• 0:20
  Speaker 2: of it.
• 0:21
Speaker 4: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
• 0:24
  Speaker 4: Ben ferguson.
• 0:25
Speaker 5: Good Friday morning, nice have you with us on the
• 0:27
Speaker 5: forty seven Morning Update.
• 0:28
Speaker 6: We've got two big stories for you.
• 0:30
Speaker 5: First up, one of the byproducts of the government shutdown
• 0:33
Speaker 5: is a full on civil war within the Democratic Party,
• 0:37
Speaker 5: and the leaders of the Democratic Party may be out
• 0:39
Speaker 5: of a job soon.
• 0:40
Speaker 6: I'll explain that in just a moment.
• 0:43
Speaker 5: Also, in a shocking report, one hundred and eighty six
• 0:48
Speaker 5: thousand dead people are receiving SNAP benefits in this country
• 0:54
Speaker 5: and you're paying for it, and there may be more
• 0:57
Speaker 5: that need to be added to that list. I'll give
• 1:00
Speaker 5: you those details, but first I want to tell you
• 1:02
Speaker 5: about our friends over at Patriot Mobile. Every so often,
• 1:05
Speaker 5: something happens that reminds us just how fragile our freedoms are.
• 1:09
Speaker 5: We can't afford to take our rights for granted. We
• 1:12
Speaker 5: must draw a line in the sand, and our friends
• 1:15
Speaker 5: at Patriot Mobile have been doing just that for more
• 1:18
Speaker 5: than twelve years. The truth is there is only one
• 1:22
Speaker 5: provider that boldly stands in the gap for Americans who
• 1:25
Speaker 5: believe freedom is we're fighting for, and that company is
• 1:28
Speaker 5: Patriot Mobile. Not only are they leading the red economy,
• 1:32
Speaker 5: they're also outpacing the competition and technology. Patriot Mobile is
• 1:37

• 1:42
Speaker 5: three major US networks, giving you nationwide coverage and service
• 1:46
Speaker 5: that you can count on day after day. They also
• 1:50
Speaker 5: offer unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet backup,
• 1:55
Speaker 5: and so much more. And switching has never been easier.
• 1:59
Speaker 5: You can activate in minutes on your phone from your
• 2:02
Speaker 5: home or your office, and you keep your same number.
• 2:05
Speaker 5: You've got now keep your same phone, or upgrade to
• 2:07
Speaker 5: a new one. And this is where the magic happens.
• 2:10
Speaker 5: Every month, about five percent of your bill is given
• 2:13
Speaker 5: back to conservative causes at no extra cost to you,
• 2:17
Speaker 5: that stand up for our First and our Second Amendment rights,
• 2:20
Speaker 5: the rights of unborn children, and are wounded warriors and
• 2:24
Speaker 5: those that have fought for a country and wear a badge.
• 2:27

Speaker 5: free month of service. That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash
• 2:47
Speaker 5: Ben forty seven or nine seven to two Patriot and
• 2:52
Speaker 5: make the switch today. It's the forty seven Morning Update
• 2:56
Speaker 5: and it starts right now story number one with a guy.
• 3:00
Speaker 6: Shut down finally over.
• 3:01
Speaker 5: We're now seeing the carnage of what happened in this
• 3:05
Speaker 5: country during the longest government shut down in history. And
• 3:10
Speaker 5: there's a very good chance there could be another shutdown
• 3:13
Speaker 5: coming in early next year. Why because the radical left
• 3:18
Speaker 5: has taken over the Democratic Party, which brings us to
• 3:21
Speaker 5: a big takeaway of the government shutdown. And that is
• 3:25
Speaker 5: the civil war that is taking place right now. AOC
• 3:29
Speaker 5: and the Progressives are now turning on Chuck Schumer and
• 3:33
Speaker 5: Nancy Pelosi. It is an unprecedented moment of civil war
• 3:38
Speaker 5: for the Democratic Party.
• 3:39
Speaker 6: Now. Chuck Schumer has.
• 3:40
Speaker 5: Been an establishment elitist liberal from New York for decades
• 3:46
Speaker 5: He is now coming under growing fire after his handling
• 3:50
Speaker 5: of the recent government shutdown negotiations, even though he voted
• 3:53
Speaker 5: against opening the government back up. Now, in particular, the
• 3:57
Speaker 5: fact that a bipartison group of eight Senate Democrats voted
• 4:01
Speaker 5: to reopen the government without securing key Democrat demands healthcare
• 4:06
Speaker 5: substies for Obamacare that's out of control and unaffordable. That
• 4:10
Speaker 5: is now the flashpoint for the radical left now. The
• 4:14
Speaker 5: vote is seen by many progressive Democrats, you know, the socialists,
• 4:19
Speaker 5: Communists and Marxists of the Democratic Party and grassroots groups
• 4:24
Speaker 5: as capitulation to Republicans and Donald Trump. Many now say
• 4:29
Speaker 5: they phil Schumer did not use the leverage his caucus had,
• 4:33
Speaker 5: and then his signals are signals of weakness. AOC publicly
• 4:39
Speaker 5: now questioning whether Schumer should remain in his role as
• 4:42
Speaker 5: leader of the Senate, pointing to broader structural issues in
• 4:45
Speaker 5: the Democratic Party. Other House Democrats Rocanna or she to Leeb,
• 4:51
Speaker 5: and even state leaders like Gavin Newsom and Governor of
• 4:54
Speaker 5: New York Kathyochel have also now voiced discontent with the
• 5:00
Speaker 5: extreme leftist Chuck Schumer.
• 5:02
Speaker 6: You can't make it up now.
• 5:03
Speaker 5: Despite the pressure, Schumer has refused to step down, insisting
• 5:07
Speaker 5: he made the tough call for the country and the party.
• 5:11
  Speaker 6: Now.
• 5:12
Speaker 5: Several currents are driving this internal revolt. Perceived lack of
• 5:16
Speaker 5: a fight is number one. For many Democratic donors and
• 5:20
Speaker 5: many younger and more progressive Democrats. The movement demands what well,
• 5:25
Speaker 5: aggressive opposition, including violence against Donald Trump and any Republican
• 5:29
Speaker 5: that gets in their way. The same people that celebrated
• 5:32
Speaker 5: the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and celebrate the literal
• 5:36
Speaker 5: assassination of Charlie Kirk. Schumer's strategy is being viewed as
• 5:41
Speaker 5: quote too cautious or deferential by many of the radical leftists.
• 5:47
Speaker 5: Organizational fatigue is another thing that's been quoted by Democratic insiders,
• 5:52
Speaker 5: saying the Democratic base is just well frustrated with the
• 5:55
Speaker 5: messaging that emphasizes tradition processing by partisanship over radical bold wins.
• 6:02
Speaker 5: Schumer's leadership style, they say, is well long overdue, long
• 6:06
Speaker 5: tenure institutional relationships, and just not a good framework for
• 6:10
Speaker 5: the Marxists and socialists that have taken over the party now.
• 6:14
Speaker 5: The shutdown fight was a leverage movement, they say, and
• 6:17
Speaker 5: many believe that Chuck Schumer and his caucus could have
• 6:20
Speaker 5: extracted more from Republicans, but quote did not, which means
• 6:26
Speaker 5: it's time for him to go. So what is the
• 6:28
Speaker 5: status and what is the challenge to Chuck Schumer? Well,
• 6:32
Speaker 5: at present, there's no formal motion in the Senate Caucus
• 6:35
Speaker 5: to force Schumer to be out. Leadership changes typically come
• 6:39
Speaker 5: via internal elections or a caucus vote, and we haven't
• 6:43
Speaker 5: seen that yet. Now the pressure is clearly more public
• 6:48
Speaker 5: and more signaling of what can come in the days
• 6:50
Speaker 5: and weeks ahead. Progressive groups are going to war and
• 6:54
Speaker 5: even some members of Congress are now calling openly for
• 6:57
Speaker 5: total new leadership. This as Nancy Pelosi has announced that
• 7:02
Speaker 5: she will not seek reelection as well. Schumer's refusal, they
• 7:06
Speaker 5: say to step down means well, the default remains him
• 7:10
Speaker 5: in the role as leader of the Democratic Party unless
• 7:13
Speaker 5: the size of a block of Senate Democrats moved to
• 7:15
Speaker 5: replace him. The coming months, they're gonna matter. And the
• 7:19
Speaker 5: big question is will Chuck Schumer force a government shutdown
• 7:22
Speaker 5: yet again come January? There are many Democrats that are saying,
• 7:26
Speaker 5: we're willing to let you go to January, but if
• 7:29
Speaker 5: you don't do it again and do a better job,
• 7:32
Speaker 5: then we're done with you. And that may be one
• 7:35
Speaker 5: of the silver linings of this government shutdown is we
• 7:38
Speaker 5: are now witnessing a full blown civil war within the
• 7:42
Speaker 5: Democratic Party. AOC, by the way, may have been the
• 7:45
Speaker 5: only Democratic winner from the government shut down, raising her
• 7:49
Speaker 5: name recognition and making it clear there's a very good
• 7:53
Speaker 5: chance she could be the next Senator from New York,
• 7:56
Speaker 5: going after Chuck Schumer's seat as.
• 7:59
Speaker 6: Well as lee leadership role.
• 8:01
Speaker 5: And that is what you can take away from the
• 8:03
  Speaker 5: government shut down.
• 8:05
Speaker 4: Now story number two.
• 8:06
Speaker 5: There may be some good that actually came out of
• 8:09
Speaker 5: the government shut down. Supplemental nutrition assistance program known as
• 8:15
Speaker 5: food stamps to everyday Americans, but we change the name
• 8:18
Speaker 5: to make it more PC and call it SNAP benefits
• 8:21
Speaker 5: are now being exposed for being rife with massive amounts
• 8:25
Speaker 5: of fraud and abuse.
• 8:28
Speaker 6: How do we know this?
• 8:29
Speaker 5: The Agricultural Secretary Brook Rollins is now telling the world
• 8:33
Speaker 5: what they've found. Rowins discussed the SNAP data the US
• 8:37
Speaker 5: Department of Agriculture received from twenty nine states, mostly Red states.
• 8:43
Speaker 5: The Secretary said that one hundred and eighty six thousand
• 8:46
Speaker 5: deceased men and women and children in this country are
• 8:49
  Speaker 5: receiving a check.
• 8:51
Speaker 6: Let me say that.
• 8:52
Speaker 5: Again, one hundred and eighty seven thousand dead men and
• 8:57
Speaker 5: women and children in this kind are receiving food stamps. Now,
• 9:03
Speaker 5: that is what we're really going to start clamping down on.
• 9:06
Speaker 5: She went on to say. Rowins also said a half
• 9:09
Speaker 5: a million people are receiving two snap payments. But here's
• 9:15
Speaker 5: the really stunning thing. This is just data from those
• 9:19
Speaker 5: twenty nine mostly red states, meaning there's even more fraud
• 9:24
Speaker 5: and abuse in liberal states. I want you to hear
• 9:28
Speaker 5: more of what she had to say as she talked
• 9:31
Speaker 5: to Laura Ingram on Fox News Channel Here.
• 9:34
Speaker 1: To discuss Agriculture Secretary brook Rollins, Madame Secretary, great to
• 9:38
Speaker 1: see you tonight. So we know the administration is trying
• 9:41
Speaker 1: to bust a lot of these groups involved in this abuse,
• 9:47
Speaker 1: but how do we stop this before it starts? So
• 9:50
Speaker 1: they can't even get as far as they get in
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: these schemes.
• 9:53
Speaker 3: It's overwhelming, it's pretty remarkable. And let me level set
• 9:57
Speaker 3: us for just a minute. It is so great to
• 9:58
Speaker 3: be on and talk about this, and it's funny. I think, ohile,
• 10:00
Speaker 3: funny is probably not the right word, but I do
• 10:02
Speaker 3: think what the Democrats did not include in their calculation
• 10:05
Speaker 3: and their insane government shut down was the fact that
• 10:08
Speaker 3: this spotlight was going to be shined upon one of
• 10:11
Speaker 3: their favorite government welfare programs that under Joe Biden increased
• 10:16
Speaker 3: forty percent. Where all that money went trying to buy elections.
• 10:20
Speaker 3: We're not one hundred percent sure, but we're rolling it
• 10:22
Speaker 3: back now. On day one, back in February, for me,
• 10:25
Speaker 3: we sent a letter to every governor saying, send us
• 10:28
Speaker 3: your snap data. All of this money that the federal government,
• 10:31
Speaker 3: the taxpayers are paying for food stamps, we don't even
• 10:34
Speaker 3: know where it goes, what happens, what they're doing with it.
• 10:37
Speaker 2: And we said no more.
• 10:39
Speaker 3: So twenty nine states complied and twenty other twenty plus
• 10:42
Speaker 3: others did not, and we're suing.
• 10:44
Speaker 2: We're in a litigation right now.
• 10:45
Speaker 3: But of the twenty nine that complied, what we have
• 10:48
Speaker 3: found is staggering half a million people getting benefits two
• 10:52
Speaker 3: times under the same name, five thousand dead people. Eighty
• 10:57
Speaker 3: percent of the able bodied Americans, meaning they can work,
• 11:01
Speaker 3: they don't have small children at home, they're not taking
• 11:03
Speaker 3: care of an elderly parent.
• 11:04
Speaker 2: They can work, and.
• 11:05
Speaker 3: They choose not to work, of course, because they're getting
• 11:08
Speaker 3: significant benefits from the taxpayer. So this light Laura that
• 11:12
Speaker 3: has now been shined on what is perhaps one of
• 11:15
Speaker 3: the most corrupt, dysfunctional programs in American history.
• 11:18
Speaker 2: That we are working now, very.
• 11:21
Speaker 3: Big announcements coming next week on this. We are cracking down.
• 11:24
Speaker 3: We now have a plan to fix it, and we're
• 11:27
Speaker 3: really really excited about doing that for the American people.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: So this has been going on for many years. I mean,
• 11:33
Speaker 1: I think I covered this on the radio fifteen years ago,
• 11:36
Speaker 1: but recently one woman admitted on national television this was
• 11:41
Speaker 1: back a couple of years ago.
• 11:43
Speaker 4: Watch its Wings was buying stamps and buying what buying food.
• 11:47
Speaker 2: Stamp She was buying food stamps from whom from everybody me,
• 11:52
Speaker 2: including I buy food, I give them away. I'm just
• 11:55
Speaker 2: a person that helps everybody.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: This is routine people. Just one woman last week I
• 12:00
Speaker 1: was watching on YouTube said well, I get twenty five
• 12:03
Speaker 1: hundred dollars and I sell eighteen hundred dollars of those
• 12:06
Speaker 1: food stamps. I use the rest for me.
• 12:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, it is. It's staggering and so discouraging.
• 12:12
Speaker 3: You know, if you're a taxpayer and you're working hard
• 12:15
Speaker 3: every day and you're paying your taxpayer, you're paying your
• 12:18
Speaker 3: taxes and then you look and you see these stories
• 12:20
Speaker 3: of this fraud of people charging more than once that
• 12:24
Speaker 3: we found one guy in six states who was collecting
• 12:27
Speaker 3: in six different states under the same number. But again,
• 12:30
Speaker 3: if we hadn't asked for this data. And by the way, Laura,
• 12:32
Speaker 3: these are the red states that turn their data over.
• 12:35
Speaker 3: It is the blue states we're still trying to get
• 12:37
Speaker 3: data on. Can you imagine if this fraud is happening
• 12:40
Speaker 3: in the red states, what's happening in the.
• 12:41
Speaker 2: Blue Sport state hiding well, hiding again. I think they're
• 12:45
  Speaker 2: buying their votes.
• 12:46
Speaker 3: They're trying to push as much of our taxpayer dollars
• 12:48
Speaker 3: into certain segments of the society in order to say, hey,
• 12:51
Speaker 3: we're here to help you. We're going to give you
• 12:53
Speaker 3: a lot of free stuff. Depends so vote for us,
• 12:55
Speaker 3: and it's dependency. Under President Trump, more jobs better, the
• 13:00
Speaker 3: economy is growing, we've got better take home pay for
• 13:03
Speaker 3: the first time in at least four years. Maybe more
• 13:05
Speaker 3: costs are coming down, and now it's time to get
• 13:08
Speaker 3: serious about these government programs move people from welfare to
• 13:11
Speaker 3: work and fundamentally change the trajectory of this country.
• 13:15
Speaker 5: Yet again, another government program that is filled with this
• 13:19
Speaker 5: level of corruption. The Agriculture Secretary warning that taxpayer dollars
• 13:24
Speaker 5: are being wasted at a level that you can't even imagine,
• 13:28
Speaker 5: and the numbers are getting worse as they're going through
• 13:32
Speaker 5: the data. What this means is there is a system
• 13:35
Speaker 5: that is broken. Democrats want to protect this system, and
• 13:38
Speaker 5: they want to protect the abusers of the system because this,
• 13:42
Speaker 5: they believe is giving them some sort of political power.
• 13:45
Speaker 5: They are in essence, buying votes. Having Americans dependent on
• 13:50
Speaker 5: them for their food stamps gives them power, gives them stability,
• 13:56
Speaker 5: and gives them election victories. This is not about act
• 14:00
Speaker 5: actually pulling people out of poverty. You notice, that's what
• 14:03
Speaker 5: this is actually all about. And it brings me back
• 14:06
Speaker 5: to twenty sixteen when Democrats were infuriated by what Donald
• 14:11
Speaker 5: Trump was doing. Donald Trump was empowering African American men, women,
• 14:16
Speaker 5: Native Americans, Asian Americans, and Latino Americans to get out
• 14:21
Speaker 5: of poverty. Donald Trump saw the world differently, and he said,
• 14:25
Speaker 5: I don't want you living in poverty in the government.
• 14:27
Speaker 6: Paying your bills. I want you to live out of.
• 14:30
Speaker 5: Poverty and be empowered to take care of yourself and
• 14:33
Speaker 5: to thrive. And that is exactly what happened. Donald Trump
• 14:36
Speaker 5: oversaw the lowest unemployment rate in history among African American men, women,
• 14:41
Speaker 5: and Hispanics in this country, also Asian Americans and Native Americans,
• 14:47
Speaker 5: which goes back to the big question. Why are Democrats
• 14:51
Speaker 5: so hell bent on protecting a corrupt system? It is
• 14:54
Speaker 5: simple that system is designed for one purpose, for the
• 14:59
Speaker 5: Democrats to count votes, to buy votes, to bribe people
• 15:03
Speaker 5: into supporting them and convincing people that they cannot make
• 15:07
Speaker 5: it without the Democratic Party. It's an abusive relationship. And
• 15:12
Speaker 5: now we're seeing just how much of our tax dollars
• 15:15
Speaker 5: we're going to keep this system alive to buy those
• 15:19
Speaker 5: votes of Americans. They're being left behind on purpose by
• 15:24
  Speaker 5: the Democratic Party.
• 15:25
