  to race at this week. NASCAR is going to run Bowman

  Gray. But Bowman Gray up there in

  Winston Salem, NC, is stuck in time.

  The track is so small, the venue, the area is so small that

  you know, they just really can't do what they want to with these

  modern day tractor trailers. So NASCAR said here's what we're

  going to do. We're going to have all the

  NASCAR teams bring their race cars to the Charlotte Motor

  Speedway and they're doing it right now on this Thursday

  They're showing all the tractor trailers pull in all the teams.

  They're going to act like they're racing at Charlotte

  Motor Speedway. They're going to unload the cars

  and they're going to inspect all the cars.

  Now, I'm assuming they're going to, I guess, lead these cars up

  there somehow. They're going to tag them.

  Once these cars are inspected, that means they're inspected and

  Bob Sargent, years ago we bought Macon Speedway in Macon, IL.

  Now since then, you know, we sold the track, we owned it for

  16 years and we sold it to Chris Kearns.

  So when we bought it, 16, now it's been 1819 years ago, we

  realized that the track was so out of date that the new S&S

  dirt racing haulers could not get in, not enough room.

  So when we bought this racetrack, the first thing we

  did was we had to go to the farmers next door where there

  luckily was, you know, cornfield, soybean, whatever it

  was. And we made a deal and we had to

  buy 10 acres to keep making Speedway up to date so we could

  get these new state-of-the-art truck and trailers in.

  I see everybody that, you know, it's kind of funny.

  You got a group of people that want everybody to stay in the

  past, put your car on an open trailer.

  That's the only way that the sport is going to grow.

  We want to see the race car going down the road in the rain,

  all the rain getting on the $60,000 Durham motor.

  We want to see all the rain splashing up in this open

  trailer, getting the race car destroyed so we can see it.
