- 0:21I have a vision that I need your assistance, darling.
- 0:28I see. A future of perfection, sinners
- 0:31and shining. I'm inviting you to taste how it
- 0:38could, because I know it's been so long and together we can face
- 0:43the enemy. Then you'll see you.
- 0:46Are so wrong. I'll show you where to begin.
- 0:52Play all your riches and skills at the moment of the godly
- 0:57cross. Well, hello, ladies and
- 1:03gentlemen. My name is Brett Keene and you
- 1:06are watching the Brett Keene Show.
- 1:08I hope you're all doing well today.
- 1:10I watched a video by Michael Knowles called Is America
- 1:15Racist. Today we're going to talk about
- 1:17racism. We're going to talk about
- 1:19transphobia. We're going to talk about
- 1:21Islamophobia. We're going to talk about all
- 1:25the phobias all the way down the line, and we're going to try to
- 1:31figure out what is the root and the source of these issues that
- 1:35people keep bringing up incessantly over and over and
- 1:41over. And we're also going to point
- 1:44out that no one ever actually comes up with a solution.
- 1:48I just noticed that people write a lot of books and they profit
- 1:52off of it, but nobody actually comes up with an answer to solve
- 1:57it. And one other thing I noticed
- 2:00too is nobody just directly comes right out and says what
- 2:03the problem is. Why is it that there are people
- 2:06who are what you would call transphobic, Islamophobic,
- 2:10racist and all this? But before we get into that, let
- 2:14me ask you guys a simple question.
- 2:17What if someone is transphobic? What if someone is racist?
- 2:22What if someone doesn't like a certain religion or doesn't like
- 2:26the behaviors from it? Are they obligated to go along
- 2:30with it because politicians say so?
- 2:33Are we obligated to like people or put up with people just
- 2:37because some asshole we don't even know is sitting on
- 2:42television telling us that that's the way we got to do?
- 2:46If you think about it, it's television that causes the
- 2:50problem in the 1st place. It's the media.
- 2:52The media shows us all kinds of bad stuff going on.
- 2:56And then whenever we get paranoid and frightened and we
- 2:59get anxiety, whenever we run into specific or certain type of
- 3:04people that we've been watching on TV, we are the bad guy for
- 3:10not wanting to be around the very people that get bad PR all
- 3:14the time. Let me give you an example of
- 3:17something. This is one of the reasons why I
- 3:20don't want to go hang out with transgenders, ladies and
- 3:23gentlemen. I didn't wake up one day and
- 3:25just simply say I hate, you know, transgenders.
- 3:30I didn't ever like, build myself up to hating a group of people
- 3:35or anything like that. In fact, I don't hate them, but
- 3:38I am a bit frightened. They caused me anxiety.
- 3:42Let me show you an example, ladies and gentlemen.
- 3:50My choice, My choice, my. Choice.
- 3:55My choice. My choice.
- 3:59Have any words prepared today? I just want you to feel our
- 4:06pain. I don't know if you can at this
- 4:08point, based off your policy choices,
- 4:25talking to us. I hate what you're doing to us.
- 4:28I hate. You So my question is also about
- 4:33trans people, because it's specifically about trans people
- 4:38competing in sports, because I think everyone here can agree we
- 4:40need to protect women's sports, so.
- 4:47Recently in Texas there was a boy who won the girls wrestling
- 4:51state championship. Do you think that he should have
- 4:54been allowed to compete in that division?
- 4:57I think that a man taking down a woman on a map should warrant a
- 5:01call to the police. Wonderful.
- 5:03And should not of course be considered a sport because he he
- 5:08was actually born female and forced to compete in that
- 5:10division despite being on it. I am so open to transgender
- 5:15people. Like if you want, if they want
- 5:16to have their own division. Go for it.
- 5:18I literally, in fact, I would love to watch it.
- 5:21I actually would love to watch it.
- 5:23If you are opting in as a man, as a woman, to having a man take
- 5:28you down on a map, on a map, that is totally fine for me.
- 5:30But what is unacceptable is that we have these divisions.
- 5:33This is for women, this is for men, and you have people that
- 5:37are allowing men to compete in these women's divisions and to
- 5:40obviously dominate because going back to biology.
- 5:43Men, of course, are stronger than women.
- 5:45They are always going to be stronger and faster than women.
- 5:47It's like how Leah Thomas went from getting second place in a
- 5:50race as a man to winning the race.
- 5:53Yeah, it's it's completely unacceptable and it's
- 5:55fraudulent. And the people going from 2nd to
- 5:571st does not happen naturally. And so I I think I sorry, I
- 6:01don't what going from he Thomas, the swimmer who came in second
- 6:04place. Oh, as a man.
- 6:06That's right. Yeah, yeah.
- 6:07And then he just switched his gender and suddenly was
- 6:09dominating. Went from 2nd to 1st as someone
- 6:12who competed. In athletics and college, in
- 6:14high school myself, no one ever goes from 2nd place to 1st
- 6:17place. Personally, I think because
- 6:19you're a man, you shouldn't have any okay.
- 6:22Because I'm a man, I'm not affected by abortion.
- 6:24I should have opinion on it pretty much okay.
- 6:27Are you affected in any way by the Holocaust?
- 6:28Not personally, I'm not. I think the Holocaust is bad.
- 6:32I do. So you have an opinion on
- 6:34something that doesn't directly affect you, right?
- 6:36The definition of feminism across the board is the social,
- 6:39political, and economic equality of the sexes.
- 6:41Yes. Why are we only talking about
- 6:43the female inequalities? Why aren't we talking about the
- 6:45male inequality? We do not have the same
- 6:47experience. We do not.
- 6:49You are not oppressed in the same ways that I am.
- 6:51No. And I'm sure you're not
- 6:53oppressed in the same ways that I am.
- 6:54You need to acknowledge your privilege first.
- 6:57If people could hear that about themselves.
- 7:00And not be defensive. I think that we could probably
- 7:03push the needle forward a lot faster.
- 7:07As a woman. I'm not sure that I'm concerned
- 7:10whether or not you want to join as a man.
- 7:13Is that not part of the issue? But that's segregating gender.
- 7:16That's that's segregating genders.
- 7:18If you're saying that you don't care about my opinion as a man,
- 7:21that goes into everything. I don't care about reshaping and
- 7:25forming my feminism in a way that.
- 7:28Is digestible for you as a man. At this point, I've come to the
- 7:33conclusion that feminists just say a bunch of nothing.
- 7:36She just rambled on. A bunch of nothing.
- 7:39You're not oppressed in the way that I am.
- 7:41His reply? Well, you're not oppressed in
- 7:43the way I am. Her response?
- 7:44Well, you need to check your privilege.
- 7:46Really. Who?
- 7:47Identify as black? No, it's a serious question
- 7:52because you might not identify when I.
- 7:54Walked into when I walked into the room.
- 7:56I am not done with my question. Oh, oh, oh, young lady.
- 8:01I'm just asking you to listen to me and and I'm about to.
- 8:04Answer your first question, but I didn't.
- 8:05I didn't finish my question. OK, yeah, I'm black so.
- 8:10I know if. If I'm a woman, Yeah, Matt, that
- 8:13question right there. Like that question is like.
- 8:18When it's asked with a lot of curiosity, right?
- 8:20That's the beginning of a lot of people 's like.
- 8:23Gender identity development journeys if my Mama gave birth
- 8:26to me is. I'm a woman and.
- 8:30My wife is alone, though I haven't asked her.
- 8:34Maybe I should, but if they're. All women and also the boy who.
- 8:39Sits down with you. And says.
- 8:39I think I'm a girl, actually. Is 1 Then what is a woman?
- 8:49Great question. I'm not a woman, but.
- 8:50I I can't really answer that. I won't continue screaming.
- 8:55Would you like that? I'm actually finding it.
- 8:58Really, really relaxing. Well, why don't you explain to
- 9:01me why what I'm doing is wrong? Go all right so I could go on.
- 9:15The video isn't even halfway done.
- 9:17It's a compilation of transgender screaming on top of
- 9:21their lungs, saying really ignorant stuff.
- 9:24And then it's also mixed with a bunch of feminists who are
- 9:28saying that their pain is valuable and important.
- 9:32But a man's opinion, a man's views, and the pain that men go
- 9:36through, It doesn't matter. I mean, seriously, ladies and
- 9:42gentlemen, what are you supposed to think about that?
- 9:44You got someone who says because you are a man, because you have
- 9:48genitals, Nothing that you say, nothing that you feel is
- 9:52important, but you're expected to sit through their big ass
- 9:56rhetoric, rant and nonsense. How can anyone with a rational,
- 10:02logical mind expect me as a man to actually give a rat's ass
- 10:07what people like this think? If you're going to look me right
- 10:10in the eye and tell me that nothing I say or nothing I feel
- 10:14matters, only yours, and that I'm actually obligated to sit
- 10:21there and put up with your bullshit, you know, it's like I
- 10:26where did I? Don't know if it's mental
- 10:30illness or what, but my usual response to that is you get a
- 10:34middle finger like Stone Cold Steve Austin and the ring.
- 10:39When you do that to me, I'm like, yeah, get the hell away
- 10:43from me. I'm not even listening anymore.
- 10:48And then on top of it, what about Islamophobia?
- 10:52What about that kind of shit? Well, if you remember, ladies
- 10:56and gentlemen, it was the mainstream media that every
- 10:59single day keeps telling us that Muslims are going to come into
- 11:03the country and blow shit up. That they have cells all over
- 11:07the place, that Muslims do terrorist acts.
- 11:12They talk about decapitation of babies constantly.
- 11:16It's the media who puts all this on you.
- 11:19And then our politicians turn around and say, oh, if something
- 11:23happens to get destroyed or something happens to get blown
- 11:26up or, you know, something goes wrong in society due to a
- 11:31specific religion or group, then I'm supposed to somehow not be
- 11:37worried about that or be anxious about it.
- 11:40If there's people out there who are suicide bombers and I'm on a
- 11:46subway train, I don't have a right to be scared or afraid or
- 11:51try to get away from someone that I might think could be a
- 11:54potential danger to my life. I'm just supposed to sit there
- 11:58and put up with that or I'm the bad guy.
- 12:01Yeah, you do understand that if I were to get shot or blown away
- 12:06or somebody were to kill me, no matter what color they are,
- 12:09group, my family is not going to get taken care of.
- 12:12Nobody's going to go, oh, that's terrible, you know, and take
- 12:18care of my wife's bills as well as my children.
- 12:22So where is the obligation? Why do people think that it's
- 12:26going to be like that? And then as far as racism, every
- 12:33time you turn on the news, you see people of different colors
- 12:36and stuff, including white people who are killing, are
- 12:40running from cops or doing something ridiculous.
- 12:44The media makes sure that everything that a group does or
- 12:49anybody, they make sure they get as much views and ratings and
- 12:53dramatize it as much as they possibly can.
- 12:56So people are watching this, and then they're told in another
- 13:01video, oh, you know, you're a racist and that makes you bad or
- 13:06whatever, and you're racist. You got to remember, ladies and
- 13:09gentlemen, simply for not wanting to be around certain
- 13:12groups or interact with them. And usually it's not because
- 13:17you're racist. It's because you're a logical,
- 13:19rational, thinking person. You just don't want to be around
- 13:23people who are violent. How many of you out there would
- 13:29you call it ignorant or evil if you were to say I don't want to
- 13:34hang out in a mental institute with a bunch of psychopaths?
- 13:38If you were to ask me, say, hey Brett, would you like to learn
- 13:43more about mentally ill people? Would you like to spend like a
- 13:46couple weeks with them in an institution or hospital?
- 13:50I'd say no. It's not because I hate the
- 13:53mentally ill. It's because I don't want to get
- 13:55stabbed in the fucking neck. I don't want to have a bunch of
- 13:59people give me a black soap party in a fucking hospital.
- 14:03Do you understand? It's not a it's not a matter
- 14:08where you go. Oh, I I just hate, you know,
- 14:11mentally ill people or something like that.
- 14:15So basically what I'm trying to tell you, ladies and gentlemen,
- 14:18is I think that one of the reasons why people don't want to
- 14:23be or don't want to date transgenders, or the reason why
- 14:28some people don't want to hang out with certain groups of
- 14:30people or interact with them. And this goes vice versa.
- 14:34Ladies and gentlemen, there's plenty of people of color who
- 14:38don't want to be in the same room with white people.
- 14:43Where is it written, ladies and gentlemen, that people should be
- 14:47forced to put up with other people?
- 14:49That's my question. I think that there's plenty of
- 14:54folks on all different sides of the aisle that you can get along
- 14:59with and you can become really good friends with.
- 15:01But I think that we should judge based upon a person's character
- 15:06and not try to make it like some kind of surface issue.
- 15:10It's really easy for someone to say, It's really easy for
- 15:14someone to play the victim and say, oh, the reason I don't have
- 15:17any friends is because I'm obese.
- 15:20I don't have any friends because people think I'm ugly, or people
- 15:24don't like me or want to be around me because I'm a certain
- 15:27color or because I identify with a certain thing.
- 15:30No, the truth is, ladies and gentlemen, and this is going to
- 15:35hurt a lot of feelings. The reason why a lot of
- 15:40families, especially parents of transgenders, have issue it's
- 15:44not because they hate their daughters and sons.
- 15:47It's because they do not enjoy having people like what you see
- 15:51on the screen related to them screaming in their fucking ear
- 15:56and then telling them that their feelings are not important.
- 16:00And that the person's going to do whatever they want while at
- 16:03the same time expecting you to pay their bills, pay for their
- 16:08education, pay for everything for them, but they expect you to
- 16:13basically be their fucking mule. That's the problem.
- 16:18It's more of AI don't want to be around stupid as opposed to
- 16:23whatever it is that you're claiming.
- 16:26See, it's easy to do that. I noticed a lot of people who
- 16:29claim to be victims, they don't like to admit that they bully
- 16:34people, that they're controlling, that they're
- 16:36manipulative, and most of the time many of them are
- 16:39narcissistic. A lot of people have this weird
- 16:43idea that in order for a person to be narcissistic, they have to
- 16:48look like Tom Cruise or they have to look really, really
- 16:51attractive. There's some people out there
- 16:53who are ugly as can be, but they think that they're God's gift to
- 16:58the world. They think that the greatest
- 17:00thing that ever walked the earth, they actually believe
- 17:03that they shit ice cream and that fucking rainbows form in
- 17:07the sky when they walk down the sidewalk.
- 17:09There's people out there that actually act like that, and they
- 17:13don't know how to socially have a conversation.
- 17:16They don't know how to socially interact with people, and it's
- 17:19as if they go out of their way to try to make people feel as
- 17:23uncomfortable, unwanted, and unloved as fucking possible.
- 17:27And their justification for that is, well, I don't feel loved.
- 17:32I don't feel like I get everything I want.
- 17:35So I'm going to make you miserable and make you feel like
- 17:38shit so you can see how I feel. Well, listen here.
- 17:43Messy. I don't even know who the fuck
- 17:45you are. If you want to talk to me about
- 17:47your pain, then talk about your pain.
- 17:49But don't start the conversation telling me I'm a Dick with when
- 17:53you don't even know who I am. Don't assume because I'm white
- 17:58that I'm going to be a fucking corporate hustler or something
- 18:02that's privileged and all this shit.
- 18:06Privileged. Have you heard this shit, ladies
- 18:08and gentlemen? You're privileged because you're
- 18:11white. Are you fucking kidding me?
- 18:14There's people out there of all different colors and races and
- 18:17religion that are doing a hell of a lot better than I could
- 18:21ever fucking imagine for myself. And I'm being told by these rich
- 18:26fucking people that oh, because I'm white, I have like bigger
- 18:31opportunities. Really.
- 18:33Are you kidding me? They don't call me one of the
- 18:36most hated motherfuckers on the Internet for nothing, ladies and
- 18:39gentlemen. And I think, you know, just to
- 18:43answer a question, and I'm not playing victim.
- 18:46I actually feel like I've earned a lot of the awesomeness and the
- 18:50labels and titles that I've been given is, I understand, one of
- 18:56the reasons why a lot of people get pissed off at me.
- 18:59It's because I don't fuck around.
- 19:01I tell you like it is. I tell you the reality is shit.
- 19:06And there's a lot of people who don't like reality.
- 19:09They don't like it when someone comes along and lays fucking
- 19:13facts down on the table. That can get people very angry,
- 19:17especially whenever the facts don't correlate with the
- 19:21bullshit opinion that they have. You understand?
- 19:26So I get that. I get that.
- 19:29That's one of the it's one of my strengths as well as my
- 19:32weaknesses. According to my wife, one of the
- 19:35reasons that she loves me and she's married to me is because
- 19:38I've always been straight up and honest about what I want, what
- 19:42I'm looking for in life, what I expect, my part from my partner.
- 19:48There's no, like, bullshit. You know exactly what you get
- 19:53and what you're doing whenever you're with Brett Keene, whether
- 19:56you're my friend or my companion.
- 20:01So I don't think that there I don't really believe that
- 20:05there's an actual racism thing in the world.
- 20:08I mean, if you wanted to really get down to the nitty gritty and
- 20:11go to the root of the problem, you have to ask yourself why Is
- 20:16it OK for, let's say, for example, a black person to call
- 20:21a white person hunky right out in public?
- 20:24Why is it OK for you to publicly say what you assume by white
- 20:30people whenever you have not met them all?
- 20:32It seems perfectly OK to get on television and shit, talk the
- 20:37white race as much as you possibly can, and there's
- 20:42absolutely no consequences for it.
- 20:44And nobody even thinks it's immoral.
- 20:46In fact, people have told themselves that it's the right
- 20:50thing to do and the good thing to do to put the white man or
- 20:54the woman in her fucking place, depending on what color you are.
- 20:59Of course, if it's vice versa, then you're a Hitler, you're a
- 21:03Nazi, You're all the bullshit. You know another thing?
- 21:12It doesn't go over my head that because I'm making this video,
- 21:18this could actually, because I'm having this opinion and because
- 21:22of my color, that this video could possibly be considered
- 21:26hatred. But if it's a black man or a
- 21:29Latino or a Muslim or a transgender who's saying all
- 21:35this shit towards me or towards other people that may look like
- 21:40me, it's perfectly fine. It's justified.
- 21:43It's even considered heroic to stand up against the man.
- 21:48But if it's vice versa, because a YouTube or someone working for
- 21:55one of these corporations sees that it's a white guy saying the
- 21:58stuff, where does my privilege go?
- 22:03You see what I mean? You get my point.
- 22:09So what do you guys thoughts? Do you think it's a big game?
- 22:12Do you think it's just a way for corporations of profit?
- 22:15Because it seems to me, I grew up in Saint Louis and I live in
- 22:19the country now and I get along with everybody and anybody
- 22:23providing that. They don't make me uncomfortable
- 22:26or cause me any anxiety. If someone's cool, then I'm cool
- 22:31back. It's that simple.
- 22:32That's how it all works. You want a solution to all the
- 22:35fucking problems of the world. If you're a transgender and you
- 22:39don't plan on screaming 3 feet from my fucking face, if you are
- 22:44a person who's not out carjacking or stealing or
- 22:47robbing fucking malls and shit like that, then I possibly would
- 22:51want to hang out with you. You see what I mean?
- 22:55As long as you're not some destructive criminal like
- 22:58thinking person or narcissistic, I'd love to hang out with you
- 23:03and break bread. You see what I mean?
- 23:07So I don't think it really is about color.
- 23:10I don't think it's religion. I don't think it's any of that.
- 23:15I think it's about your fucking behavior that turns people off.
- 23:21If you're watching this video right now and you hear me saying
- 23:24the word you, you you over and over again, or they, it's
- 23:29because I'm trying to be respectful of pronouns.
- 23:34All right? If you feel like I'm talking
- 23:37directly to you, then you might want to reflect on why it is
- 23:41that that's actually happening. But in the end, ladies and
- 23:46gentlemen, I'll finish it with this.
- 23:49A lot of these people who play victim, they don't seem to give
- 23:53a rat's ass about anybody else's problems or issues.
- 23:57And in the end, it just seems as though they say the things they
- 24:00do and do what they do simply for attention.
- 24:05Woe is me, and they don't want any answers, They don't want any
- 24:11solution, and they definitely don't want to hear why you have
- 24:14a problem. So if that's the case, then
- 24:18don't be surprised when I walk the fuck away from you when I
- 24:22see you coming.
