- 0:00Speaker 1: Yew.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is no Mark Simon show on sevent GENLR.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Hey, it's Friday. That's a great news. A lot coming
- 0:13Speaker 3: up today. We'll get to President Trump's trip to China.
- 0:16Speaker 3: He's on his way back. He's on the plane heading back.
- 0:19Speaker 3: It's a long, long trip. I'll get back late tonight
- 0:22Speaker 3: at the White House. And I think he spends the
- 0:26Speaker 3: I'm looking at the schedule. It looks like he spends
- 0:28Speaker 3: the whole weekend in DC. Mar a Lago is closed.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It closes on Mother's Day for the whole summer, doesn't
- 0:33Speaker 3: reopen until Halloween. So he's got his own golf club,
- 0:38Speaker 3: big golf club right outside of Washington, out in the
- 0:41Speaker 3: suburbs in Virginia. So he'll probably be there tomorrow playing golf.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Jet lag. Now he doesn't get that even whatever it is,
- 0:48Speaker 3: eighteen hour flight, no jet lag. So the trip very successful,
- 0:54Speaker 3: very successful. Now, President she agreed to a lot of stuff.
- 0:58Speaker 3: He agreed not to sell weapons to Iran. He agreed
- 1:02Speaker 3: to do everything he can to help settle the Iran conflict.
- 1:05Speaker 3: He agreed to this, He agreed to that. So it's
- 1:07Speaker 3: a great negotiation. Now the only catch is you got
- 1:10Speaker 3: to put a big asterisk on that China has never
- 1:14Speaker 3: ever ever lived up to anything they've ever agreed to.
- 1:17Speaker 3: So bear that in mind. But your body language experts
- 1:21Speaker 3: studying when President Trump is with President she's studying it
- 1:25Speaker 3: and saying that there's an affection. There's an an affection
- 1:29Speaker 3: for each other. They like each other. This is unlike
- 1:31Speaker 3: previous presidents. You know, Biden used to make that speech. Oh,
- 1:34Speaker 3: I've spent more time with President she than anybody. She
- 1:38Speaker 3: couldn't stand Biden thought he was an imbecile. Obama he
- 1:42Speaker 3: didn't like, he didn't respect. Remember when Obama landed in
- 1:46Speaker 3: China air Force one, they wouldn't bring out a stairs
- 1:49Speaker 3: for him. They wouldn't bring out the big stairs. So
- 1:51Speaker 3: and there was no ceremony on the runway, there was nothing.
- 1:54Speaker 3: They sent some junior guy to shake his hand, but
- 1:57Speaker 3: no stairs to come down. He had to use the
- 2:00Speaker 3: you know that little baby steps in the back of
- 2:03Speaker 3: air Force wanted to get out. It was quite embarrassing.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Trump got the Royal welcome red carpet, literally a red carpet,
- 2:09Speaker 3: military bands, top top officials vit she never does this himself.
- 2:14Speaker 3: But he sent the vice president in China to greet him.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Along with all the major officials, military band, children's choir,
- 2:21Speaker 3: and the whole thing. So it was a great honor.
- 2:24Speaker 3: They're obviously getting along better than any Chinese and American
- 2:29Speaker 3: president ever have. She has agreed that he will visit
- 2:33Speaker 3: President Trump at the White House September twenty fourth for
- 2:38Speaker 3: another visit. At one point President Trump was walking through,
- 2:41Speaker 3: she took him on a tour of certain things. One
- 2:44Speaker 3: was of China's most beautiful gardens, and in the garden
- 2:48Speaker 3: Trump saw the most beautiful roses he's ever seen. And
- 2:52Speaker 3: he said, you know, we have a rose garden in
- 2:54Speaker 3: the White House, but nothing like these roses. And then
- 2:57Speaker 3: he said, could you send me some of these roses?
- 3:00Speaker 3: So she agreed he will send the roses. They'll be
- 3:02Speaker 3: planted in the rose garden here. They had another summit yesterday.
- 3:06Speaker 3: They had tea afternoon tea with the full a full menu.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Now this was to honor Trump. They went all out
- 3:14Speaker 3: on the menu. But I don't think Trump would eat
- 3:17Speaker 3: any of this stuff. I'm looking at the menu. Minced
- 3:19Speaker 3: codfish in seafood soup. That's not something Trump would like.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I mean, the only thing to eat seafood wise is
- 3:30Speaker 3: is the what do they call that fish sandwich at McDonald's,
- 3:33Speaker 3: the mcfish filet of fish. That's the only seafoodump eats.
- 3:38Speaker 3: What else? Stir fried lobster tails, panseered beef filet, stuffed
- 3:42Speaker 3: with morel mushrooms. This is not a Trump menu. Kung
- 3:46Speaker 3: pow chicken and scallops. See, the problem is when you're
- 3:50Speaker 3: on these big diplomatic emissions, you got to eat everything.
- 3:53Speaker 3: You're going to pretend you're enjoying this. You remember when
- 3:56Speaker 3: George H. W. Bush passed out at the State dinner
- 4:00Speaker 3: because I think it was just eating something he couldn't stand.
- 4:03Speaker 3: But again, here, look at this is not Trump's stuff.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Bamboo shoots, mushrooms and beans. Now, steam pork and shrimp dumplings.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Now not here. Ah, here's something you can eat, chocolate brownies,
- 4:14Speaker 3: ice cream. There you go already filled up on that.
- 4:17Speaker 3: But otherwise it went very well. It could not have
- 4:19Speaker 3: gone any better. So what do you do if you're
- 4:23Speaker 3: the New York Times? Now, if you're the New York Times,
- 4:25Speaker 3: your job in life is not to report what happened,
- 4:28Speaker 3: not to report the news. Your job is to make
- 4:31Speaker 3: everything Trump does look bad. Everything is wrong, Everything is
- 4:35Speaker 3: a mistake. Everything he touches, he's screwing up. So you
- 4:38Speaker 3: got to do that with everything. Now, this went very well.
- 4:41Speaker 3: It went better than it's ever gone with any other president.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Went so, well, what do you do if you're the
- 4:46Speaker 3: New York Times and you saw the pictures with all
- 4:48Speaker 3: the business leaders, all the CEOs, and Trump had all
- 4:52Speaker 3: these cabinet he had Bessent and hegsith and and Marco
- 4:56Speaker 3: Ruby had all these. So what do you do for
- 4:58Speaker 3: your York Times? Whether there was a big headline and
- 5:00Speaker 3: yesterday in the New York Times where they put up
- 5:02Speaker 3: the pictures, and the New York Times headline was where
- 5:07Speaker 3: are the women the summit? Where are the women? There
- 5:12Speaker 3: weren't enough women there for the New York Times. The
- 5:16Speaker 3: business leaders, Hey, he just took the CEOs of our biggest,
- 5:20Speaker 3: most important companies. They happen to be men. Don't blame Trump.
- 5:23Speaker 3: There was one woman, the CEO of City Bank, a woman.
- 5:28Speaker 3: I think that was it. It's a silly thing to
- 5:32Speaker 3: accused Trump of because nobody, no president has ever appointed
- 5:36Speaker 3: more women to more high positions in an administration than Trump.
- 5:41Speaker 3: He holds the record for them. And in his own business,
- 5:44Speaker 3: the Trump organization more women executives than any other company,
- 5:49Speaker 3: So it's a silly accusation against him. Now he's so
- 5:52Speaker 3: happy to be back as he can have a cheeseburger
- 5:54Speaker 3: and French fries every meal. He's so happy to be
- 5:57Speaker 3: back because they're going to give him his cell phone
- 5:59Speaker 3: back and his You know, you can't take a cell phone,
- 6:02Speaker 3: you can't take your computer, You can't take any devices
- 6:05Speaker 3: into China because their surveillance is unbelievable. Not only were
- 6:10Speaker 3: they suck everything out of your phone, but they'll embed
- 6:12Speaker 3: stuff in your phone that you can never get out.
- 6:15Speaker 3: So everybody, everybody in the plane, Sean Hannity, everybody told
- 6:19Speaker 3: you can't bring any devices. You have to get a
- 6:22Speaker 3: burner phone to use just when you're there, and then
- 6:25Speaker 3: when you leave you throw it away, burner computer, and
- 6:28Speaker 3: you even have to get a burner email. You can't
- 6:31Speaker 3: use your email. So they everybody, everybody on the trip
- 6:34Speaker 3: had to set up a burner email just to use
- 6:37Speaker 3: for these couple of days and then throw it out.
- 6:39Speaker 3: So it was killing Trump because you couldn't truth social
- 6:43Speaker 3: he couldn't tweet during the you couldn't do it. Now,
- 6:46Speaker 3: there were a couple of a minor truth socials during
- 6:49Speaker 3: the trip, but those were done from Washington. You know,
- 6:52Speaker 3: they would tell them what they wanted and they would
- 6:53Speaker 3: post it from Washington. But he'll get his phone back.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Expect a truth social barrage today. But it went very,
- 7:03Speaker 3: very very well. Now, the best interview on all of
- 7:07Speaker 3: this would be Sean Hannity last night did a one
- 7:10Speaker 3: hour interview with President Trump, exclusive one hour interview where
- 7:15Speaker 3: he asked him everything about the summit. By the way,
- 7:18Speaker 3: we'll play it today on wor you'll hear it. I'll
- 7:21Speaker 3: be filling in for Sean Hannity today because he'll be
- 7:23Speaker 3: on the plane, but I think in the first hour
- 7:26Speaker 3: three to four, we'll play the whole interview, so you'll
- 7:28Speaker 3: get to hear it, which is very important, especially for
- 7:32Speaker 3: me because I got to do his show for three hours,
- 7:34Speaker 3: So they'll play that for the whole first hour, which
- 7:36Speaker 3: means I don't have to talk. I think it just
- 7:38Speaker 3: sit there, so it's perfect. Hopefully he'll do more interviews
- 7:41Speaker 3: on the plane to fill more time. But it was
- 7:44Speaker 3: a great interview. He talked about she you know, Trump's
- 7:46Speaker 3: a very tall guy, but if you look at the pictures,
- 7:48Speaker 3: they're pretty much the same height.
- 7:50Speaker 4: But I say about him that if you went to
- 7:53Speaker 4: Hollywood and you looked for a leader of China to
- 7:57Speaker 4: play a role in a movie, central casting, central casting,
- 8:00Speaker 4: you would you couldn't find a guy like him. Even
- 8:04Speaker 4: his physical features. You know, he was tall, very tall,
- 8:08Speaker 4: and especially for this country because they tend to be
- 8:12Speaker 4: a little bit shorter.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you see those Chinese leaders, She is no exception.
- 8:16Speaker 3: They all look evil. They all look like James Bond films.
- 8:24Speaker 3: They all look like they're just trying to destroy the
- 8:26Speaker 3: whole world. And I don't know why anybody would want
- 8:30Speaker 3: this job. And you imagine having the first sum it
- 8:32Speaker 3: was like two and a half hours, the next one
- 8:33Speaker 3: was like two You imagine if they talk to she
- 8:36Speaker 3: for two hours, does that sound like fun? I don't
- 8:38Speaker 3: think so. So the some press were over there. Now
- 8:42Speaker 3: there was a little controversy because the Chinese officials police
- 8:47Speaker 3: kept blocking the press. They wouldn't let him near they
- 8:50Speaker 3: wouldn't let him near Trump. Also, Chinese officials kept them
- 8:54Speaker 3: penned up in certain areas where they weren't allowed any water.
- 8:57Speaker 3: In fact, they confiscated their water bottles and no bathroom. No,
- 9:03Speaker 3: they weren't allowed any and it was like eighty five
- 9:05Speaker 3: out in the sun. It's might use that system here
- 9:10Speaker 3: in this country and push the press around, treat them
- 9:12Speaker 3: like cattle. But when the reporters did get to Trump,
- 9:15Speaker 3: they would ask the dumbest, most annoying, gotcha stupid questions.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I was in an interview with a very bad, stupid reporter.
- 9:23Speaker 4: She works for CBS. You saw the sixty minutes stupid person.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Just an average person. You could take anybody off the
- 9:29Speaker 4: street and it'd be as good as she is, you know,
- 9:32Speaker 4: just very average.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Yeah. So Democrats everywhere, Oh excuse me, Democrats everywhere trashing
- 9:39Speaker 3: the trip. That's the new name. Democrats. Don't say democrats,
- 9:42Speaker 3: say democrats. President Trump came up with that earlier, and
- 9:46Speaker 3: he also explained where it came from. He was looking
- 9:49Speaker 3: at Hakeem Jeffries, who's a very low IQ guy, and
- 9:52Speaker 3: that's where he got the name democrats. And he explained
- 9:54Speaker 3: it to Sean.
- 9:55Speaker 4: You know, the Democrats are against farmers, Jesse, How could
- 9:59Speaker 4: they because add that to the men and women's sports.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Are the Democrats are against farmers? Can you believe it?
- 10:06Speaker 5: So?
- 10:07Speaker 6: Not?
- 10:07Speaker 7: Anyway, they're defective. I came up with a new name.
- 10:11Speaker 7: I don't know if I should. I know which one
- 10:14Speaker 7: of those Democrats? I said, dumb, dumb. I was talking
- 10:18Speaker 7: about a guy. How came Jefferies is a very low
- 10:21Speaker 7: IQ individual. When I talked about him is he's a
- 10:23Speaker 7: dumb guy. He's a Democrat, And I said, oh, what
- 10:26Speaker 7: a great name.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, So just use that from now on, just say
- 10:30Speaker 3: it Democrats, democrats, democrats, not democrats democrats. Make sure you
- 10:35Speaker 3: use that all the time. Hey, there's a story I
- 10:39Speaker 3: think we all need to be concerned about Long Island
- 10:42Speaker 3: the Lie. Picture Exit forty nine, Lie Exit forty nine.
- 10:49Speaker 3: That would be Route one ten. That's the road that
- 10:51Speaker 3: goes to Melville, goes to Huntington. That's like where the
- 10:54Speaker 3: Walt Whitman Mall is. That's where if you get right
- 10:56Speaker 3: off there, there's the Melville Marriott, There's Blackstones, a great steakhouse.
- 11:01Speaker 3: What's the one on the other side Halston's Anthony Scotto
- 11:04Speaker 3: owns all these great wrestling But picture this l IE
- 11:08Speaker 3: one ten. That's one of the busiest, busiest, busiest exits
- 11:12Speaker 3: on the l IE. Yesterday, a big sinkhole opens up
- 11:18Speaker 3: and a car goes into this sinkhole.
- 11:20Speaker 1: L I e.
- 11:21Speaker 3: This is not like in some rural area in Florida.
- 11:24Speaker 3: This is not somewhere in Georgia where there's a sinkhole.
- 11:27Speaker 3: This is right on the l ie like in the
- 11:29Speaker 3: middle lane. Sinkhole opens up, car goes into it. Now,
- 11:33Speaker 3: luckily the driver wasn't injured. The car was injured, but
- 11:36Speaker 3: the driver wasn't injured. Now, this is scary. What would
- 11:40Speaker 3: cause us sinkhole on the l lie well? Usually sinkholes
- 11:45Speaker 3: the ones you see, you know somewhere in Florida, somewhere
- 11:48Speaker 3: in Alabama, somewhere out there. It's groundwater. You know, underground
- 11:55Speaker 3: there's water, and at this point where the groundwater erodes
- 11:59Speaker 3: the dirt, the bedrocket wears it away, so that becomes
- 12:02Speaker 3: a hole under the ground, and then the ground sinks
- 12:05Speaker 3: into it. The ground water, natural groundwater creates the cavity
- 12:12Speaker 3: and then everything sinks into it. Those are the type
- 12:15Speaker 3: of sinkholes. Apparently experts think this is different here. This
- 12:19Speaker 3: is what you got to worry about. The sinkhole on
- 12:22Speaker 3: the lie. You know, there's a lot of infrastructure under
- 12:25Speaker 3: these roads. They got storm drains, they got utility lines,
- 12:29Speaker 3: they got all sorts of pipes that run under there.
- 12:32Speaker 3: They got water pipes that run under there. So a
- 12:36Speaker 3: lot of experts on this stuff believed and what happened
- 12:38Speaker 3: was some of the pipes under there, you know, they
- 12:41Speaker 3: can be very old, and state put them in lie
- 12:44Speaker 3: is a state project, New York State. This is Kathy
- 12:47Speaker 3: Hokals Road. But they believe some of those pipes under
- 12:50Speaker 3: there over the years eroded. There was erosion rust, especially
- 12:55Speaker 3: at the joints, so it eroded and corroded, and there
- 12:59Speaker 3: was joint separation and water started coming out, pouring out
- 13:04Speaker 3: for a long time. And you get enough water under there,
- 13:06Speaker 3: same effect, it erodes, the bedrocket erodes, the dirt, creates
- 13:10Speaker 3: a cavity, and the road sinks into it. So this
- 13:15Speaker 3: is something to worry about because everywhere every highway all
- 13:18Speaker 3: over in New York they got these same pipes, So
- 13:21Speaker 3: this could start to happen anywhere. I don't mean to
- 13:23Speaker 3: scare you, but even a small it says, even a
- 13:27Speaker 3: small pipe joint defect can cause a lot of erosion
- 13:31Speaker 3: underground with the water spilling out. So hopefully this was
- 13:35Speaker 3: a freak thing and this is one sinkhole, but if
- 13:40Speaker 3: you start to see more of these, that's what it is.
- 13:42Speaker 3: The aging infrastructure under the lie. Now, if you had
- 13:46Speaker 3: to fix this, how would you do that. We're you
- 13:48Speaker 3: gonna tear up every highway everywhere and look at the pipes.
- 13:52Speaker 3: This is a big, big problem, something to worry about.
- 13:55Speaker 3: And you got Kathy Hokel in charge. So that's not
- 13:59Speaker 3: a that's not a good formula. And hopefully it'll be
- 14:03Speaker 3: Bruce Blakeman in charge pretty soon. This was this one
- 14:06Speaker 3: ten that would be Suffolk County, right, yeah, Suffolk County,
- 14:09Speaker 3: so it's not Blakeman's county. The New York Times is
- 14:13Speaker 3: going to be sued like crazy by Israel. They've always
- 14:18Speaker 3: been the most anti Semitic paper in the world. I
- 14:20Speaker 3: mean they even covered up the Holocaust, a one hundred
- 14:23Speaker 3: year tradition of total anti Semitism. But they went over
- 14:27Speaker 3: the top and completely lost their minds this week when
- 14:31Speaker 3: they put out these stories. I mean there was one
- 14:34Speaker 3: that Israel was training dogs to rape women. There was
- 14:40Speaker 3: another that female prisoners were being raped in israelis prison.
- 14:44Speaker 3: None of this is true, So why would they do it?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Now?
- 14:47Speaker 3: A lot of people think the reason they did it
- 14:49Speaker 3: the report was coming out, the Big Study Commission that
- 14:52Speaker 3: was looking at what happened October seventh, and it came
- 14:55Speaker 3: out this week showing how horrifying hum was on that day.
- 15:01Speaker 3: We know that they were killing, mutilating, stabbing, and raping,
- 15:06Speaker 3: but it was beyond that. And then they had like
- 15:07Speaker 3: five hundred witnesses in this report. Apparently, I mean to
- 15:13Speaker 3: say all this stuff. They were forcing family members to
- 15:15Speaker 3: have sex with each other and then raping them in
- 15:19Speaker 3: front of family members. I mean, it was just I'm
- 15:21Speaker 3: not even telling you most it's just awful. They came
- 15:23Speaker 3: out in this report. So a lot of people think
- 15:26Speaker 3: that's why the New York Times went crazy with these
- 15:28Speaker 3: fake stories. They were trying to counter that report, knowing
- 15:32Speaker 3: it would create tremendous sympathy for Israel, so they were
- 15:35Speaker 3: trying to counter that. But Israel. Benjamin Not in Yahoo
- 15:39Speaker 3: announced they will sue the New York Times. They will
- 15:42Speaker 3: sue the New York Times like crazy. Some of our
- 15:45Speaker 3: top top attorneys, Alan Derschwooz and others are going to
- 15:49Speaker 3: jump in on this case. This is going to be
- 15:51Speaker 3: I mean, New York Times is the most sued newspaper
- 15:54Speaker 3: ever for all their fake news, but this is going
- 15:56Speaker 3: to be the big one. This is going to be
- 15:58Speaker 3: really damaging, so we'll see what happens. We'll take some
- 16:01Speaker 3: calls in a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:05Speaker 3: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:09Speaker 3: zero seven ten.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Now back to Mark Simone on wr.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Hey, let's tix some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 16:18Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 16:21Speaker 3: Mara in Nevada, Marra, how you.
- 16:23Speaker 8: Doing so good? I'm talking to you ChIL Vincent Mark,
- 16:27Speaker 8: did you ever read that people like Einstein and George
- 16:31Speaker 8: Bernard sure felt that the Earth was the insane asylum
- 16:36Speaker 8: for the universe? Now there with these UFO and alien sidings.
- 16:42Speaker 8: I wonder if they're panicking out there because they hear
- 16:46Speaker 8: the inmates are running the asylum.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Well it could be. Well you're in Nevada, you get
- 16:50Speaker 3: more UFOs than anybody.
- 16:52Speaker 8: Out there, Garry.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, well thanks for calling. Let's go to
- 16:56Speaker 3: Rich Myrtle Beach Rich, how you doing.
- 17:00Speaker 6: On a market morning? Detective Bob in San Diego is
- 17:02Speaker 6: a big listener, fan of yours for many many years.
- 17:05Speaker 6: You know, I don't know what Trump is dilly dallying about.
- 17:07Speaker 6: You know what? You want to just go in wipe
- 17:09Speaker 6: out the country. You know, you can't win a world
- 17:11Speaker 6: warning people when you're gonna bomb and stuff like that,
- 17:13Speaker 6: take the oil. And you know, these mulers and these
- 17:16Speaker 6: people wren in the country, they're no different than the Nazis.
- 17:18Speaker 6: They're just destroying their own people. You take them out,
- 17:21Speaker 6: You got to try them for war crimes, and you
- 17:24Speaker 6: just you just go in and just destroy the whole place,
- 17:27Speaker 6: people in.
- 17:27Speaker 3: The country, massive destruction. You're talking about ground war. I
- 17:30Speaker 3: don't think anybody wants.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Yeah, step, I'm not talking troops on the ground. I'm
- 17:34Speaker 6: talking you know, you gotta just you just gotta let
- 17:36Speaker 6: them have it once and four quick, dilly dally, and
- 17:38Speaker 6: then try them for war crimes.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Here is what will happen. She has agreed to help
- 17:42Speaker 3: he won't help it because they never live up any agreement.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Then we'll we'll do another round of bomb bombing, and
- 17:47Speaker 3: then you gotta go. You gotta go step by step
- 17:49Speaker 3: on this. Hey, uh, you know these radical Iranian radical
- 17:54Speaker 3: islam I had told it. You know, they actually are
- 17:57Speaker 3: a spinoff of the Nazi parties. A wonderful new book
- 18:00Speaker 3: that actually shows how they were trained by Hitler's Nazis
- 18:05Speaker 3: they were a few generations ago, and apparently the Hitler
- 18:09Speaker 3: Nazi group had all this laid out, even had diagrams
- 18:14Speaker 3: of planes hitting buildings, all this stuff. I forget the
- 18:16Speaker 3: name of the book, but I'll I'll get the name
- 18:19Speaker 3: and I'll tell you what it was. It just came out.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Let's go to Dave in Chicago.
- 18:22Speaker 6: Dave, how you doing, good morning, Mark. I'm doing very well,
- 18:26Speaker 6: Thank you. Mark.
- 18:27Speaker 9: When President Trump visits foreign countries such as China, I know,
- 18:31Speaker 9: the Secret Service goes there ahead of time to secure everything,
- 18:35Speaker 9: but there are there ever clashes between the Secret Service
- 18:38Speaker 9: and the China's secret detail.
- 18:41Speaker 3: It happened yesterday, It's been happening last two days. There
- 18:44Speaker 3: were actually fights between the Secret Service Chinese secret Service
- 18:47Speaker 3: trying to block them from going places. Yeah, a couple
- 18:50Speaker 3: of times they got into actual physical fights with the
- 18:53Speaker 3: with the Chinese officials. It does happen, but that's China.
- 18:57Speaker 3: They're a little crazy over there. Let's go to Mike
- 18:59Speaker 3: in in Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Good morning? Mark. Yes, Mike, I hope they checked those
- 19:05Speaker 1: roses from China for bugs.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Of both kinds. Yes, yes.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And the other thing, you know, I don't understand what
- 19:13Speaker 1: The Times is beefing about. Our friend Monica Crowley was
- 19:16Speaker 1: in the middle of everything over there quite visibly. She
- 19:19Speaker 1: was introducing everybody to every she was She was completely involved.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean, so, I don't know what The Times is
- 19:25Speaker 1: crying about.
- 19:25Speaker 3: No women, Well, it's the Times they got to it's
- 19:29Speaker 3: fake news. They make up whatever they can make up.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Trump had a plane half women of Susie W Monica Crowley.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Uh you know all his assistants, Chamberlain, Natalie Harp all women.
- 19:42Speaker 3: They're four of them. Uh yeah, what's her name, Natalie?
- 19:47Speaker 3: They're all women. They're all women. So again fake news
- 19:52Speaker 3: New York Times. You can always count on them for
- 19:54Speaker 3: not really knowing what's actually going on. Let's go to
- 19:57Speaker 3: Shelley in Long Island. Shelley, how you doing?
- 20:01Speaker 2: Hey, Mark Morning? Loved the show, Mark. Don't you think
- 20:06Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman should hire Spencer Pratt's team. He's amazing. His
- 20:11Speaker 2: campaign is everywhere and I feel we really need Bruce
- 20:15Speaker 2: to win, but he's flat.
- 20:17Speaker 5: No.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Do you follow him on Instagram?
- 20:20Speaker 2: I do.
- 20:21Speaker 3: That's pretty good Instagram. His social media is pretty His
- 20:23Speaker 3: social media is pretty good.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but Spencer's is out of the park.
- 20:29Speaker 3: That's Spencer's business that we're talking. We'll talk about this
- 20:32Speaker 3: in the in the next hour, because it's pretty interesting
- 20:33Speaker 3: that Spencer Pratt came out of nowhere reality TV guy
- 20:37Speaker 3: to totally dominate the mayoral race. He's it's causing panic
- 20:41Speaker 3: among Democrats. This guy could win the mayoral race. But yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 3: he's great with social media. Everybody's saying that every candidate
- 20:47Speaker 3: hire his social media guy.
- 20:48Speaker 2: But all right, well, you speak to him, so maybe
- 20:51Speaker 2: you could light the fire for him a little bit.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I think you're underestimating how good Bruce Blakeman's social media is.
- 20:57Speaker 3: It's very good.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I hope you're right because we need him very desperately
- 21:03Speaker 2: to win New york O. We're done.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Yeah, No, definitely. Where do you live in Long Island?
- 21:08Speaker 2: Ah, the Siocid area.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Oh, you're not far from that sink hole. I know
- 21:14Speaker 3: a few exits from that sink hole. You probably drive
- 21:18Speaker 3: on the l Ie. You'll probably get off at exit
- 21:20Speaker 3: forty nine. Right.
- 21:23Speaker 2: I don't go down there a lot, but a lot
- 21:25Speaker 2: of my friends do. I got to talk to them
- 21:27Speaker 2: about it.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Yeah, watch out for that sinkhole. Thanks for calling and
- 21:30Speaker 3: asco one morning. Let's go to Joe Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 21:32Speaker 3: how you doing.
- 21:34Speaker 10: Good morning, Mark, Good morning visits. Speaking about women, what
- 21:37Speaker 10: happened with the I only heard her once on Greg
- 21:39Speaker 10: Kelly with Tulsi Gabbard.
- 21:41Speaker 3: With the files, which files?
- 21:43Speaker 10: The CIA raised her office.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know Tulsea Gabbard files. I don't know
- 21:50Speaker 3: who knows what they were looking for here.
- 21:51Speaker 10: I mean, Ventent's always right on with the cattle and
- 21:55Speaker 10: with the corruption. We need to Nick sure we're over
- 21:59Speaker 10: here too.
- 21:59Speaker 3: And right Nick Shirley's a little busy. He's doing California
- 22:03Speaker 3: than he's got Ohio to do. But also you got
- 22:05Speaker 3: the JD vance now uncovering fraud. But again you've got
- 22:08Speaker 3: to go state by state. It's a long slow process,
- 22:11Speaker 3: but he's already uncovered a lot of stuff, total waste, fraud, bloat,
- 22:15Speaker 3: that's government. Hey, when we come back to brilliant columnist Lizpeak,
- 22:20Speaker 3: we'll be with us. Scott Shannon will be with us
- 22:22Speaker 3: about an hour from now.
- 22:24Speaker 5: The Mark Simone Show on WR.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Well with us now the brilliant columnist Lizpeak. You can
- 22:34Speaker 3: reader columns at foxnews dot com, but also go to
- 22:38Speaker 3: her own website where you can get all the news
- 22:40Speaker 3: and updates and analysis. Go to lizpeak dot com lizpeak
- 22:45Speaker 3: dot com, Lizpeak. How you doing, I'm terrific.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Thanks for having me on.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Mark.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Hey, China trip couldn't have gone any better. Don't you agree?
- 22:54Speaker 11: Well, I think the market certainly doesn't agree. I think
- 22:59Speaker 11: a couple of one.
- 23:01Speaker 5: I think that.
- 23:01Speaker 11: There was a lot of optimism that Trump would would
- 23:06Speaker 11: get G President G to agree to some breakthrough in
- 23:12Speaker 11: Iran in opening up the straight of horror moves. Supposedly
- 23:17Speaker 11: G bought into the idea that that was a good
- 23:19Speaker 11: idea and.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Evidence, you know, no resistance to it.
- 23:24Speaker 11: But I didn't see anything really come out that in
- 23:26Speaker 11: the way of a concrete move on his part, like
- 23:29Speaker 11: picking up the phone and telling the IRGC to open
- 23:32Speaker 11: up the straight. I think in terms of commerce, yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 11: it was a good move. I think, you know, I
- 23:41Speaker 11: think the biggest thing was that G had to look
- 23:45Speaker 11: tough to his people, after all the United States. I mean,
- 23:50Speaker 11: imagine this drama of President Trump arriving with a faylanx
- 23:56Speaker 11: of world leaders in global finance and production, manufacturing, technology,
- 24:02Speaker 11: et cetera. I mean, what a powerful symbol that was
- 24:08Speaker 11: of American dominance, right, I mean, and think about China's
- 24:13Speaker 11: situation right now. They are losing in terms of their economy.
- 24:16Speaker 11: Their economy has enormous ongoing impediments, like a demographic cliff.
- 24:21Speaker 11: They're actually shrinking in terms of people in the workforce.
- 24:26Speaker 11: They have enormous amounts of debt, and they can't get
- 24:29Speaker 11: consumers to spend. So they're actually gone back to their
- 24:32Speaker 11: export driven model, meaning they are actually are dependent on
- 24:36Speaker 11: the United States because this is where the action is.
- 24:39Speaker 11: They're losing in artificial intelligence leadership. God knows, they're losing
- 24:43Speaker 11: in energy leadership. So I think the whole bravado about
- 24:50Speaker 11: Taiwan and how America should be careful about Taiwan, I
- 24:54Speaker 11: thought it was complete stage craft. I think it was
- 24:58Speaker 11: totally to convince the people of ch the g belongs
- 25:01Speaker 11: on that world stage with Donald Trump, and frankly, right now.
- 25:05Speaker 5: I think there's an argument that he does not.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Wow, Yeah, you're right. You know, Trump showed up with
- 25:10Speaker 3: the greatest business leaders in the world. It was an
- 25:13Speaker 3: impressive Joe Biden showed up with Hunter the crack addict Son.
- 25:18Speaker 5: That's a good point.
- 25:21Speaker 11: I mean, it's an amazing contrast though, right, and apparently
- 25:24Speaker 11: I have to dig into this a little bit more,
- 25:26Speaker 11: but I read a couple of accounts this morning that
- 25:29Speaker 11: the Chinese were not expecting those American business leaders to
- 25:33Speaker 11: be part of the delegation, that they would be part
- 25:35Speaker 11: of the conversations. They were, And again I think it
- 25:39Speaker 11: was Trump. It wasn't quite bombing Syria over chocolate cake,
- 25:43Speaker 11: but it was kind of like, in your face sheet,
- 25:46Speaker 11: this is who we are, who do you got and
- 25:49Speaker 11: does he have some business leaders? Yeah, but they're terrified
- 25:53Speaker 11: because in the past sometimes you end up being disappeared
- 25:56Speaker 11: or going to jail in China.
- 25:58Speaker 5: True true story. So I thought it.
- 26:02Speaker 11: Was I think in people in a way that people
- 26:05Speaker 11: don't really understand. I thought it was absolutely a brilliant
- 26:09Speaker 11: trip for reasons other than maybe what was obvious.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah, now a present. She agreed to help in Iran,
- 26:16Speaker 3: and he agreed to this, He agreed to. But the
- 26:18Speaker 3: thing is, China has never ever lived up to any
- 26:21Speaker 3: agreement they've ever met. So what do we make of that?
- 26:24Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, you know, they're going to buy some soybeans,
- 26:27Speaker 11: presumably they need soy beans. They're going to buy some
- 26:29Speaker 11: planes because they want some planes. I think all of
- 26:33Speaker 11: that was sort of foretold. But again remember that for
- 26:38Speaker 11: she and one of his comments talked about how many
- 26:41Speaker 11: five year plans they've had. Well, for at least four
- 26:44Speaker 11: or five of those five year plans, they've talked about
- 26:46Speaker 11: the necessity of getting away from being an export driven economy,
- 26:50Speaker 11: get away from infrastructure spending, relying on Chinese consumers to
- 26:56Speaker 11: take up the ball and run.
- 26:57Speaker 5: With it, and they haven't.
- 26:58Speaker 11: I mean, consumer we're spending in China is still I'm
- 27:02Speaker 11: guessing here, but around forty percent of the economy versus
- 27:05Speaker 11: seventy percent in the US. That's an unsustainable number unless
- 27:08Speaker 11: the whole rest of the world basically takes the lead
- 27:12Speaker 11: in building your economy, which which they have, which the
- 27:15Speaker 11: world has for thirty years. But I think that's changed,
- 27:20Speaker 11: and I think that you know, China Ge remember about
- 27:25Speaker 11: five years ago, took on to himself the management of
- 27:29Speaker 11: the economy in China. Remember he's he took sole responsibility
- 27:33Speaker 11: for it.
- 27:34Speaker 5: So he's in a weird position where.
- 27:37Speaker 11: Uh, he's responsible, he doesn't really know what to do.
- 27:40Speaker 11: They've they've gone back to export driven and building spending
- 27:45Speaker 11: a lot of money that they don't have on infrastructure,
- 27:48Speaker 11: so it is not a good picture for him. He
- 27:50Speaker 11: needs the United States, he needs exports, and so yeah,
- 27:56Speaker 11: they're going to buy some stuff. My guess is he's
- 27:58Speaker 11: going to push really hard for expanded exports into the
- 28:02Speaker 11: United States as well.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, uh, Liz peak, let's uh, let's get to Iran.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Obviously it's a hell of a gamble. But if this
- 28:10Speaker 3: is successfully, you get rid of the worst terrorist terrorist
- 28:13Speaker 3: regime in the world, and you get side benefits like
- 28:16Speaker 3: maybe opeck will break up. What do you think will happen?
- 28:20Speaker 5: Well, I can't.
- 28:21Speaker 11: I mean, I you know, I said this on air
- 28:23Speaker 11: the other day and got kind of slapped for it.
- 28:25Speaker 11: But I think there's gonna have to be another military
- 28:27Speaker 11: round here.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Uh.
- 28:30Speaker 11: I don't think Trump can walk away with anything but
- 28:33Speaker 11: clear victory on the no nukes ever message. He has
- 28:39Speaker 11: made that the cornerstone of our military offense in Iran.
- 28:43Speaker 11: I think he's totally right to do it, but he
- 28:46Speaker 11: can't leave it halfway.
- 28:48Speaker 5: And I think right now it's all bluster.
- 28:51Speaker 11: The economy there is collapsing, I mean literally collapsing. The
- 28:56Speaker 11: local currency has zero value. If you put in the
- 29:00Speaker 11: local currency as an exchange rate, comes up zero basically
- 29:03Speaker 11: versus the dollar, and so their bluster is bluster, and they.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Do have some missiles left, Yeah, they do. But we
- 29:12Speaker 5: have to.
- 29:12Speaker 11: Finish this off, and I think regime change is necessary,
- 29:15Speaker 11: and I think absolutely eliminating any potential of a nuclear
- 29:20Speaker 11: threat down the road is also incredibly essential. So I
- 29:23Speaker 11: think there will be some other round of hostilities.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Yeah, well that might not be a bad thing. You're right.
- 29:31Speaker 3: You got to finish the job. And then what happens
- 29:33Speaker 3: to oil and what happens to inflation.
- 29:35Speaker 11: Well, if they open up, if the Strait of Hormoz
- 29:38Speaker 11: opens up overnight, the price of oil will come down
- 29:42Speaker 11: twenty percent and it'll continue to drift down as oil
- 29:45Speaker 11: begins to flow through the strait. There has been some
- 29:49Speaker 11: damage done to oil infrastructure in the Middle East.
- 29:51Speaker 5: It'll be repaired.
- 29:53Speaker 11: In a year, we'll be back to where we are,
- 29:55Speaker 11: and oil prices will be down to sixty dollars again.
- 29:58Speaker 5: If not lower.
- 29:59Speaker 11: Because I think people are really underestimating what's going on
- 30:03Speaker 11: in Venezuela, what's going on in Alaska. You know, Alaska
- 30:07Speaker 11: production in the next couple of years is going to
- 30:09Speaker 11: be up half a million barrels a day, and that's
- 30:12Speaker 11: just incredibly powerful.
- 30:14Speaker 5: And Venezuela.
- 30:16Speaker 11: It'll take a little while because Venezuela new fields are offshore,
- 30:19Speaker 11: but eventually we're going to see a pretty big balance
- 30:21Speaker 11: there too. So again, Western Hemisphere energy, the United States
- 30:27Speaker 11: energy is in great shape. The rest of the world
- 30:30Speaker 11: has so much so too bad. You know, they place
- 30:33Speaker 11: their bets in the wrong place. And China really did.
- 30:36Speaker 11: China really isn't a pickle in terms of oil supplies.
- 30:40Speaker 11: They may have a big strategic petroleum reserve, but they
- 30:43Speaker 11: don't have new vendors looking their way. So anyway, I
- 30:47Speaker 11: think inflation and all that will be mended is just
- 30:49Speaker 11: going to take a while.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Wow. Hey, Liz Pik Kevin Warsh takes over a new
- 30:54Speaker 3: FED chairman. He's been confirmed. Will Jerome Powell leave or
- 30:58Speaker 3: do we have to go to landland or tenant court
- 31:00Speaker 3: to get him out of the building something like that.
- 31:03Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 31:04Speaker 11: I think it's you know, look, I think his nose
- 31:06Speaker 11: is out of joint. He's really furious that Trump for
- 31:09Speaker 11: charging him with you know, potentially criminal activity and the
- 31:13Speaker 11: overruns on the cost of the FED building. I think
- 31:17Speaker 11: that was a stupid mistake on Trump's part I'd like
- 31:21Speaker 11: to now Jay Powell saying he's gonna stay.
- 31:23Speaker 5: That's just silly.
- 31:24Speaker 11: You can have two kind of quasi fed chairs, and
- 31:28Speaker 11: I think, frankly, it'll be humiliating for him. So if
- 31:30Speaker 11: I were he in the next over the summer, I
- 31:33Speaker 11: get off the board.
- 31:34Speaker 5: And my guess is that's what he'll do.
- 31:36Speaker 3: All right, let's hope. So also, yeah, well we get
- 31:40Speaker 3: rid of Kathy Keel. We want Bruce Blakeman to win,
- 31:43Speaker 3: start to get the normal samee management back into New York.
- 31:47Speaker 11: You think it could happen, Mark, you need a revolution
- 31:51Speaker 11: in the Republican Party in New York, and I wish
- 31:55Speaker 11: your luck on getting that. Until the leadership has changed.
- 31:57Speaker 11: We need energy, we need money. We need some of
- 32:00Speaker 11: the billionaires who moved to Palm Beach to be shaken
- 32:03Speaker 11: down for money for New York. You can't win a
- 32:07Speaker 11: solid Democrat victory. I mean, you can't overthrow this legislature.
- 32:14Speaker 11: It's got to be from the ground up. It's a
- 32:16Speaker 11: huge undertaking. I wish Bruce Blateman all the luck in
- 32:19Speaker 11: the world. I hope he wins. I don't think it's
- 32:22Speaker 11: going to happen unless we really really see a push
- 32:25Speaker 11: by the Republican leadership and I just don't see that happening.
- 32:28Speaker 3: That's a good point. We don't really have a Republican
- 32:30Speaker 3: party in New York.
- 32:31Speaker 5: What we have, No, we do not, No, we don't.
- 32:33Speaker 3: These old ladies who hold these book signings in these
- 32:35Speaker 3: Republican clubs and take selfies with the author. That's about
- 32:40Speaker 3: all they do that. You need. A party runs the
- 32:43Speaker 3: ground game, runs all the door knocking, all that stuff
- 32:46Speaker 3: that you need.
- 32:47Speaker 5: That's right.
- 32:47Speaker 11: Yeah, And frankly, the National Party doesn't care because they've
- 32:51Speaker 11: just written off New York and it's a tragedy.
- 32:54Speaker 5: I mean, we have some good Republicans.
- 32:56Speaker 11: I think Claudia Tenney and Mike Lawler and Nicole Mali Attackas,
- 33:00Speaker 11: they're all terrific and you know, but if you talk
- 33:03Speaker 11: to them, they despair. They just don't get any help
- 33:06Speaker 11: from the National Party at all.
- 33:07Speaker 3: No, that's terrible. Well, really it is always Liz Peak
- 33:11Speaker 3: and everybody read her columns. You go to foxnews dot com.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Where else can they read them? At the Hill?
- 33:16Speaker 11: At the Hill today, I have a piece out on
- 33:18Speaker 11: the Hill about Mum Donnie's budget nonsense. Yeah, and the
- 33:21Speaker 11: fact mark you ought to take a look, because I mean, honestly,
- 33:24Speaker 11: Bernie Sanders is all over Twitter going, oh my gosh,
- 33:27Speaker 11: this is amazing. He drove the deficit to zero, blah
- 33:31Speaker 11: blah blah. By the way, it's the law that you
- 33:33Speaker 11: have to make the budget balance. All of his fixes
- 33:36Speaker 11: and little sort of puppet playing, it's not going to
- 33:40Speaker 11: do the trick and people need to know it. I
- 33:42Speaker 11: think the left is terrified that mum Donnie's failing, so
- 33:45Speaker 11: they're stepping up here big time in social media to
- 33:48Speaker 11: back him up, and it's just really pathetic.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Well, read Lizpeak's column at The Hill reader at Foxnews
- 33:54Speaker 3: dot com, but make sure you go to her website
- 33:55Speaker 3: and sign up for the daily news analysis. Go to
- 33:58Speaker 3: lizpeak dot com, liizpeak dot com. Lizpeak, thanks for being
- 34:03Speaker 3: with us.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Hey, thanks so much for having me.
- 34:05Speaker 6: Mark.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Have a great weekend, all.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Right, take care, Hey, don't forget At noon Buck Sexton
- 34:10Speaker 3: and Clay Travis. I love that show every day noon
- 34:12Speaker 3: to three. Then at three o'clock, the most listened to
- 34:14Speaker 3: radio show in America, Sean Hannity. I'll be filling in
- 34:17Speaker 3: for Sean today and we'll replay the whole interview with
- 34:21Speaker 3: Donald Trump talking about what happened at the summit. So
- 34:24Speaker 3: that's coming up, and don't forget it. Nine the Great
- 34:28Speaker 3: Jimmy Fayla, Queer New.
- 34:29Speaker 7: York comes for common sense.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Mark Simone on sevent ten, wr.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Hey, there's some good news. It looks like on the
- 34:42Speaker 3: border zero crossings. There are many, many weeks of zero crossings.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Nobody coming in illegally. Obviously they're watching what's going on
- 34:51Speaker 3: with Trump with Ice and they're not coming illegal crossings.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Since Trump took officer down by ninety five percent, self
- 35:02Speaker 3: deportation has hit over a million. And as we reported yesterday,
- 35:07Speaker 3: there are eighty thousand illegals that literally just came to
- 35:10Speaker 3: an ICE facility and turned themselves in. The reason they
- 35:14Speaker 3: did that they didn't want to be picked up and
- 35:15Speaker 3: then put in a detention center. Any that they asked
- 35:18Speaker 3: to be deported, eighty thousand showed up saying, please deport
- 35:21Speaker 3: us immediately and get us out of here. You know,
- 35:25Speaker 3: there's a House Judiciary subcommittee that's investigating a DA, this
- 35:32Speaker 3: crazy DA who lets illegal illegal criminals, you know, illegal
- 35:39Speaker 3: aliens who are criminals, just lets them loose or gives
- 35:42Speaker 3: them light sentences apparently was funded by George Soros. Soros
- 35:46Speaker 3: put almost a million bucks into this campaign to get
- 35:49Speaker 3: this guy elected, and he's just letting criminals loose. He's
- 35:52Speaker 3: letting illegal aliens who are criminals loose. So DOJ is
- 35:56Speaker 3: investigating him. It's interesting to note ABC, CBS, NBC zero
- 36:03Speaker 3: coverage of this. They will not cover this Soros funded
- 36:07Speaker 3: da Hey, when we come back, a lot to get
- 36:09Speaker 3: to in the next hour. We'll get to the Spencer
- 36:11Speaker 3: Pratt phenomenon in La. Scott Shannon will be with us,
- 36:15Speaker 3: and a whole lot more just ahead. Mark Simone here
- 36:18Speaker 3: on seven ten WR
