- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Tract Decos.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: I want to thank you so much for taking your time and joining me right here today.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: This week on the broadcast, we've been talking about beginnings.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, as we think back to the beginning of our physical lives, there was a day that our dear mothers so treacherously walked through the valley of the shadow of death.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: as they gave birth to us.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: In Great Traveille and Great Pain, they did so so that we may take our first breaths.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: And while we should have great admiration, great respect for our mother's even for that singular act.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, maybe your mother isn't perfect.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Guess what?
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Because
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: was is or will be perfect but despite her quirks and little idiosyncrasies and things that make her different understand that she's still your mother and though your mother may have passed on we should still have a fond memory no matter how poor she may have been as a human mother
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: I hope, though, that you can think of your mother fondly.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: I hope that you can recall great memories with your mother.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: I hope that mother's day is a joyous time, whether your mother is still here on earth, or not, I pray that you can think of your mother with just love, with care.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: But as we think about that life of being born, about that beginning of that start, with a squall and a cry and a slap across the bottom, possibly, we came into this world.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: But that's not quite how we enter our second birth, how we come into the world a second time, for a spiritual birth.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: And that's been to a degree the theme of this week.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: We went well past your beginning or my beginning spiritual or otherwise, and went all the way back to the beginning.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: Went to a place called Genesis.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: Genesis 1 is a verse and verse 1, 2 and 3.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: Our verses we've read a few times this week.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: They say this.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was without form and void.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: And darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: And God said in verse 3, let their be light and their was light.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mentioned yesterday or the day before the broadcast that God can flip on the lights.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: He did so with just his voice.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't voice-activated lights back then, during creation, and he spoke the very first lights into existence, and he did so by his own power and just by his voice.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: But he also can speak light into your life in mind.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: What a blessing it is to know that though we are sin-darkened, we are racked by wretched by sin.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's a blessing to know that amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretched light.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Me, I once was lost, but now I'm found was blind.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: But now I see it's a blessing to know that that grace is available to you and to me and Speaking of that grace being available to me I told you yesterday.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to tell you my story just a little bit my Test-to-Money you see as a boy.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: I was raised in a Christian home.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but I was raised in the military home
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: my father was in the United States Army.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: We moved eight times in my first 18 years.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: I was born at Fort Hood, Texas down there in the central Texas area and I was blessed.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: I was absolutely incredibly blessed to be raised in with a family that took me to church.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: But you understand that going to church, being taken to church, does not guarantee that you are on your way to heaven.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, it has nothing to do with you going to heaven.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: No, that is an individual decision that every person has to make.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: And there came a day.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: We had moved from Texas to California.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: I was still young boy that I heard a preacher preach.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: It was in the midweek service a Wednesday night service and as the preacher preached the Holy Spirit God moved on me.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: I was, as verse 2, it wasn't the earth that was without form and void.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: It was me.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: I have darkness, was upon the face of my comacuri.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: My soul was a dark, I had a soul hunger, I had a God-sized hole in my soul.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And as verse 2 of Genesis 1 says in the Spirit of God-moved,
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the Spirit of God moved and wooed me and drew me.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: I came to the understanding that I was lost.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: The realization that without Christ, I would spend the eternity in a place called Hell, and God began to turn the lights on.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: In that night, by God's grace, I came to myself and realized that whether I was just a young boy, who, no, I had not committed heinous sins, I had not robbed a bank, I hadn't killed anyone, but I was still because of my sin.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: Those little white lies were just a talk and back to my parents, or you name it,
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: I was on my way to a place called Hell, and I needed to be born again.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: That night I got my salvation settled.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Reminds me of a gospel track that we print here at Bible Tracks Incorporated, it's actually called born again.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: And it talks about how in a heavenly entrance needs a heavenly birth, you see, at our ministry, the ministry that I get to direct, I'm so privileged to be a part of Bible Tracks Incorporated, founded by Dr. Paul V. back in the 1930s.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: But we've printed well over 600 million gospel tracks and put them around the world free of charge.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: But this gospel track that I'm holding in my hand right now, it hasn't been around quite as long as some of the other ones It's been around for a decade or two, but it's called born again.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: And it says this John 3-7 You must be born again, and it asks the question.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: Are you born again?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: The author of this track, a little bit before my time said this, I met a great church going lady who had taught San Francisco even attended Bible College, but she was not born again.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: I met a very moral man once.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: We spoke about the day he was born again.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: He had served his church many ways, but it was not until in his 60s he heard God's word and was saved.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: So what is it?
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: What is it to be burnt point again?
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: To be born again means you receive a heavenly birth.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: It means born from above.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Good works like those done by the man or woman I just mentioned.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: Can't do it.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: Not baptism, not communion, not feeding the poor or you name it.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: Marvel not Jesus said that I said unto the ye must be born again.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's in Jesus in the book of John chapter 3.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: He spoke those words to a religious man.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: That religious man needed this birth.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: So Jesus told him, except a man be born again.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: He cannot enter the kingdom of God.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's John 3 verse 3.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: Because a heavenly entrance needs a heavenly birth.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: So how does it happen?
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: People who are born again were born, not a blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: John 1 verse 13, God, you see must do it for you.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: We are born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible by the Word of God.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: And for Speed of 123 explains that, corruptible simply means decayed or false.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: Man's ideas about getting into heaven are corrupt, only in God's Word do we find God's method on how to be born again and here is what it says.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: The wages of sin is death.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's Romans 6, verse 23.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: God's Word says, you and I are sinners.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: And we've earned the wages for our sin, which is death, but like I said, the wages of sin is death, but he, God has a gift for you and for me.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: You can't earn gifts.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Salvation, though, is the gift of God.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ is the provider of this gift.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: It is through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can be, and you must be born again, but you must do it God's way.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, what is God's way?
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Christ died for our sins.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: It was buried.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: And that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures that's first Corinthians 15, 3 and 4.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: You see, your sins, my sins, they demand a payment.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: You need a Redeemer to purchase your salvation.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus paid your sin debt on Calvary's cross, and that is why he can give you eternal life as a gift.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: He paid for it with his life.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: As many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: You receive Jesus by faith.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: For by grace are you saved to faith.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: In that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: Not of works, less than any man should
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like I did, many years ago, as a young boy, would you like to trust Christ today?
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you've been listening all through the week, and maybe this idea of beginnings has made you realize you need a new beginning.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: Well, today you can begin.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: You can start.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: by placing your trust solely in him.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: You could pray a simple prayer.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'll help you word when, if you'd like, if there's nothing special about the words necessarily, they're just consonants and vowels put together.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: They're just words.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: But what's special about it is if you mean it in your heart, you could pray a simple prayer placing your complete faith in Jesus Christ.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now we're like saying these words won't save you, but believing in your heart will.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: You could pray something like this.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Dear God, I know I'm a sinner.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: But I now receive God's Son as my Lord and Savior.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: and by God's grace, by your grace, I want to live forever with you and confess you as my Lord.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Please save me.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: Take me to heaven when I die.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: Amen.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: You could pray a simple prayer like that, and you could accept Christ.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I don't honestly.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I do not recall the exact prayer that I prayed.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_01]: It may have been similar to that.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: It probably was to some degree, but I can guarantee you
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: You see, it's not the prayer that saves you.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, for with a mouth, confession is made, but with a heart, man believes.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I encourage you today.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe as you listen to this broadcast, maybe you know.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you know that you know that you are saved.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know that Christ is your savior, but either you're not living like it or you're not telling other people about it.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you'd like to go to our website and for free order some traps like the one I just mentioned to you born and again I just shared it with you today on the broadcast.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: You can get 25-50-100 of those tracks for free.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: We have 40 other tiles that you can order, some for veterans, some for law enforcement.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: You can order them today and tell others about how they can be born again.
