- 2:22Speaker 1: next time, slow down, have a look at the great
- 2:26Speaker 1: work that they do. They were down completely destroying the
- 2:34Speaker 1: bamboo at the edge of my river, which is a
- 2:40Speaker 1: subject of great stress at my house because when the
- 2:44Speaker 1: bamboo grows up and then we can't see the river,
- 2:48Speaker 1: Charylyn and I get really ticked off and we hate
- 2:51Speaker 1: the bamboo. And whoever brought it here to Vermont, I've
- 2:56Speaker 1: got some choice words for you. But Jason was down
- 2:59Speaker 1: there with Ryan, just completely destroying it, and I just
- 3:05Speaker 1: love the fact that he is so so good at
- 3:08Speaker 1: doing that, uh temperature wise today. All right, all right,
- 3:13Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead, Stacy, go ahead. What do you got?
- 3:15Speaker 1: What do you got? Doubt? Where are you? And Fort Myers?

- 3:47Speaker 2: At six am that was seventy seven. That's probably eight
- 3:51Speaker 2: eighty three right now. Sunshine and beautiful, but we got
- 3:54Speaker 2: some weather coming in.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Oh do you really?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we got rain for the next like seven.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Y Yeah, you're gonna you're gonna have some flooding.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Then, yeah, probably, But it was.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It's seventy seven this morning.

- 4:16Speaker 2: sun was just come on, it was nice.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Do you do you miss these temperatures up here in Vermont?
- 4:24Speaker 2: That is the one thing I do not miss. Uh,
- 4:27Speaker 2: you know, I get a little taste of it a
- 4:29Speaker 2: couple of times a year, but yeah, February especially, Yeah,
- 4:34Speaker 2: I understand.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I mean you gotta admit, though, it would be nice
- 4:37Speaker 1: to have a little bit of a cool breeze like Saturday.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We're supposed to be at a ball me daytime high
- 4:45Speaker 1: of fifty seven.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Did I see something somewhere on a mast that there's
- 4:50Speaker 4: possible snow in a mountains?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yes? Oh yes, tonight rain and and here's here's what
- 5:01Speaker 1: Sherilyn said to me last night. Would you relax, it's
- 5:05Speaker 1: just summit snow that's above four thousand feet. It's you're
- 5:09Speaker 1: making it sound like we're gonna be out with the plows.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It just shouldn't happen.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I know, I understand. I feel. I feel the same way.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Man.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Summit snow Friday night into Saturday morning. Uh, tonight's low
- 5:25Speaker 1: about forty but you know, and we've got the rain,
- 5:28Speaker 1: but up on the mountaintops it could be in the
- 5:30Speaker 1: form of white rain.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Wow.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I just want to mention last night, right around
- 5:38Speaker 4: nine pm, the sky.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Was lit up here.
- 5:43Speaker 1: What's what was up with that?
- 5:45Speaker 2: Uh?
- 5:46Speaker 4: Bezos was testing one of his rockets, getting it ready
- 5:49Speaker 4: to go up the satellites.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Are you bullshitting me right now?
- 5:53Speaker 5: No?
- 5:53Speaker 4: And it exploded, And I tell you right now, it's uh.
- 5:57Speaker 2: It lit the.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Sky out, it floated, it exploded, Yes, you're right now
- 6:05Speaker 4: you no, no, no, they were doing they were doing
- 6:07Speaker 4: a uh engine test and it exploded right on the
- 6:11Speaker 4: launch pad.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Nobody got hurt, but it was a fireball.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Check check the news outlets. You'll see that. Hey I'm
- 6:18Speaker 2: reporting at first right here on eric out.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yes you are. I will, I will go. I will
- 6:25Speaker 1: google it up if if you've got some some good
- 6:28Speaker 1: video or pictures, uh somewhere online. Send them to me
- 6:32Speaker 1: and I'll share them on the page.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I do not because it happened so fast. I ran
- 6:36Speaker 2: back inside.
- 6:37Speaker 4: To get my phone, and by the coming it back
- 6:39Speaker 4: out there, it was it was dark, so really fat
- 6:43Speaker 4: that rocket fuel is uh and then you know, and
- 6:48Speaker 4: you know, Burns responded there and uh, you know, of
- 6:53Speaker 4: course there's nothing they could do. They just said they're
- 6:54Speaker 4: gonna just let it burn out until it's till it's done.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Sure, sure, Wow, Yeah that's far out, man, But I can.
- 7:04Speaker 4: I can stand right in my front yard and watch
- 7:07Speaker 4: the rocket launches all the time.
- 7:08Speaker 3: That's crazy, dude.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, we're we're about eighty eighty five miles south of.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's on a real clear night. You can see
- 7:21Speaker 2: them for a long time.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Dude. That is so cool. I would love to see
- 7:26Speaker 1: something like that. I've heard that from a few others
- 7:28Speaker 1: down in Florida that there's always kind of there's always
- 7:31Speaker 1: stuff in the sky down there. But yeah, that's awesome, dude.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 4: In my in my other house, the front of the
- 7:38Speaker 4: house was faced north and I could sit on my
- 7:41Speaker 4: couch and watch those rocking launches.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude. You if you ever, if you
- 7:46Speaker 1: ever get any video of that from your own phone,
- 7:50Speaker 1: please send it to me and I'll share.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, absolutely absolutely.
- 7:54Speaker 1: That's cool man. All right, listen, stay well down there.
- 7:57Speaker 2: All right, you as well.
- 7:59Speaker 4: I'm gonna be for a real quick trip in July, uh,
- 8:04Speaker 4: picking the granddaughter up, and we're doing a little road
- 8:07Speaker 4: trip on the way back to Florida.
- 8:09Speaker 2: And I'm making a couple of stops here.
- 8:11Speaker 4: And there here, so it's so it's gonna be a quick,
- 8:15Speaker 4: quick in, quick out. Unfortunately, I won't be able to
- 8:19Speaker 4: I'm going to arrive on Saturday and I'm leaving Sunday morning.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Sorry. If you have any time, We've got a microphone
- 8:27Speaker 1: here for you, all right.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Oh absolutely, And I should call more, but uh, you know,
- 8:32Speaker 4: and as hurricane season progresses, the cap go updated.
- 8:35Speaker 2: On what we've got going here. I don't expect much
- 8:38Speaker 2: this year, but Elino and everything.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, please do.
- 8:43Speaker 2: But you never know, and them things sneak in on
- 8:46Speaker 2: us sometimes.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So you're our Florida correspondent.
- 8:49Speaker 4: We appreciate you well reporting live here for the AIRDL podcast.
- 8:54Speaker 2: This is Stacey holding there. Have I guess I'm in right,
- 8:59Speaker 2: Have a.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Good weekend, But I love you, pal. Yeah, okay, yeah, Stacy,
- 9:04Speaker 1: holding right there Fort Piers. The official forecast the word
- 9:10Speaker 1: today cloudy, sky's rain and sixty one. I'm having a
- 9:15Speaker 1: hard time believing it because I'm looking outside right now
- 9:18Speaker 1: to a brilliant blue sky, plenty of sunshine. Main Street
- 9:22Speaker 1: looks beautiful. Sixty one though for a daytime high, how
- 9:27Speaker 1: is that to really? What is it now? Fifty one? Okay,
- 9:32Speaker 1: all right, Hey, sixty one is one more than sixty,
- 9:37Speaker 1: so we'll take it. Why because we have to tonight
- 9:41Speaker 1: again rain summit snow tonight into Saturday, forty degrees. Don't
- 9:48Speaker 1: worry ge unless you're, you know, planning on being up
- 9:52Speaker 1: at the top of Camil Sump, which is four thousand
- 9:54Speaker 1: and eighty three feet, You'll get eighty three feet of snow.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But I don't think g is going to be up
- 10:04Speaker 1: on top of Camel Sump tonight with his headlamp. Don't
- 10:07Speaker 1: think locally heavy rainfall is possible tonight as well. Saturday
- 10:14Speaker 1: morning showers then pretty much just cloudy and boring. As
- 10:18Speaker 1: I said earlier, fifty seven degrees only for the daytime
- 10:22Speaker 1: high on Saturday. Will there be woodstoves running. I think
- 10:26Speaker 1: so final day of May on Sunday, cloudy skies, rain showers,
- 10:32Speaker 1: sixty I know, kind of a shitty weekend weatherwise. Cold
- 10:37Speaker 1: rain on Monday and Tuesday. Cold rain on Monday and Tuesday.
- 10:46Speaker 1: A tip of the hat and some good morning love
- 10:49Speaker 1: to some new listeners, some new followers this morning. Ryan
- 10:53Speaker 1: and west leb Alex in Plattsburgh, Simon in Newport. We
- 10:58Speaker 1: appreciate your eye and your ears. We have a lot
- 11:01Speaker 1: to talk about this morning. We have a lot to
- 11:04Speaker 1: get to and we may not be able to get
- 11:08Speaker 1: to all of it here. I'm just uh, I've got
- 11:12Speaker 1: some text messages, uh that are coming in here this morning.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Shoes Chuck's going to be joining us at some point here.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I want to uh, and I want to talk about
- 11:28Speaker 1: Amy's arm war here, uh, which which is a must.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Before I talk about Amy's arm war, I have to
- 11:37Speaker 1: just say this. Had a had a guy who showed
- 11:47Speaker 1: up here uh Wednesday, and while I was on the
- 11:56Speaker 1: air and and U was, the front door of the
- 12:05Speaker 1: studio here was locked. And I know who this guy is.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I haven't had a chance to talk with him yet,
- 12:15Speaker 1: but I'm on the air and he's pulling on the
- 12:19Speaker 1: door and it's locked, and I mean he's pulling and
- 12:23Speaker 1: he's pulling, and then he started pulling harder, and he's
- 12:28Speaker 1: looking at me and he's throwing his hands up in
- 12:31Speaker 1: the air and he's upset because the door is locked. Gosh,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you you know it's it's it's hard for me to
- 12:46Speaker 1: say this, but sometimes, you know, unless I know you're
- 12:51Speaker 1: you're coming, generally the door is going to be locked. Okay,
- 12:58Speaker 1: there was another guy that came in here a couple
- 13:01Speaker 1: of weeks ago. He's done this before, He's done this twice,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and I unfortunately did have the front door unlocked and
- 13:10Speaker 1: he just walked right in. And I don't know. That's cool,
- 13:21Speaker 1: but in some ways, you know, maybe not so much,
- 13:27Speaker 1: especially if I don't if I don't know you, not
- 13:30Speaker 1: expecting you, and just kind of stared at me and
- 13:40Speaker 1: my guest. And I can handle staring at me, but
- 13:45Speaker 1: my guest was a little freaked out. So listen, there's
- 13:52Speaker 1: a reason why the door is locked most of the time.
- 13:57Speaker 1: So I'm sure, do I need to say anything more
- 14:02Speaker 1: about this? I probably not. There is a apparently now
- 14:10Speaker 1: and I want to give a shout out to one
- 14:13Speaker 1: of our sponsors presenting sponsors, one of our newest Barry
- 14:18Speaker 1: Tobacco and Beer, right across the street, and I got
- 14:21Speaker 1: to ask him about this because apparently there's I love Fresca.
- 14:27Speaker 1: That's our go to drink, especially during the summer for
- 14:31Speaker 1: Charylyn and I. We love it. Apparently there's an alcohol
- 14:35Speaker 1: version of Fresca now it's called Fresca Hard. I am
- 14:42Speaker 1: not aware of this. I'm just learning about it, and
- 14:44Speaker 1: it apparently has hit the stores. I'm wondering if anyone
- 14:47Speaker 1: has seen this. I definitely am going to try it.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'm going to get it over it at Berry Tobacco
- 14:54Speaker 1: and Beer and I'll, you know, I may try a
- 14:59Speaker 1: sip of it here the air. Apparently there's four flavors.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Fresca has been around for a long time, but not hard.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Fresca four flavors, twelve pack. What a twelve pack? Oh okay,
- 15:19Speaker 1: it's twelve that's not bad. Eighteen bucks. Someone online and
- 15:25Speaker 1: I saw this last night, reviewed it and said it's
- 15:28Speaker 1: the new selter of the summer. If you were a
- 15:32Speaker 1: child back in the eighties and nineties who spent any
- 15:36Speaker 1: time with their grandparents, you probably remember Fresca quite well,
- 15:50Speaker 1: the old person. Soda. What's the flavor? What is it's grapefruit,
- 15:54Speaker 1: isn't it? Yes? Fresca hard farer point six percent alcohol,
- 16:03Speaker 1: ninety nine calories per can, zero sugar. Yeah, I gotta
- 16:12Speaker 1: get some of this. I gotta try it. Is this
- 16:16Speaker 1: a multi beverage? How are we classifying this now? I
- 16:20Speaker 1: don't know. I'm gonna try. Chuck here, see if we
- 16:25Speaker 1: can get them. It's a it's nine to twenty one,
- 16:29Speaker 1: by the way, nine twenty one and fifty one degrees.
- 16:33Speaker 1: And here he is, Chuck Martin, Good morning, buddy. How
- 16:36Speaker 1: are you?
- 16:37Speaker 6: I'm good? How are you?
- 16:38Speaker 1: How's? How are they? How are you? Listen? You're not
- 16:41Speaker 1: on the air this morning. I just want to ask you.
- 16:43Speaker 1: How are the hemorrhoids? Are you doing?
- 16:44Speaker 6: Okay, I'm not on the air this morning. You're full
- 16:47Speaker 6: of it.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Yeah, no, we're off the air. But how's how's the hell?
- 16:51Speaker 4: No?
- 16:51Speaker 6: No, I don't believe you. And they're all right, they're
- 16:56Speaker 6: all right. And apparently you misunderstood that whole thing. But
- 16:59Speaker 6: that's okay, okay. Enjoyed busting me up when I when
- 17:04Speaker 6: I wasn't there to defend myself. That's what bitches do,
- 17:08Speaker 6: and it's okay.
- 17:10Speaker 1: There's no misunderstanding. You said what you said, and I
- 17:13Speaker 1: aired it out.
- 17:14Speaker 6: My point was, I've done my time with seven kids
- 17:18Speaker 6: playing I asked watching basketball games so much that gave
- 17:21Speaker 6: me hemorrhoids. That was like a reference that I don't
- 17:25Speaker 6: really have hemorrhoids, all right, and just it's a pain
- 17:28Speaker 6: in my ass. You didn't get it, But no, I
- 17:31Speaker 6: don't think anybody goes you're you're a young parent. You're
- 17:35Speaker 6: still in the young stages. You don't understand anything that.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, right. You know, when I'm out about in the
- 17:41Speaker 1: community and I have people coming up to me saying, hey, JD,
- 17:45Speaker 1: how you doing, I'm doing pretty good. Howard Chuck's hemorrhoids.
- 17:49Speaker 6: You know, I've read that the community is concerned about
- 17:51Speaker 6: my hemorrhoids. I I really do appreciate that. That means
- 17:55Speaker 6: you guys care, and I didn't think anybody did.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It's all in love, buddy, that's all we've always That's great.
- 18:01Speaker 6: I get it, and I hear it out. You know me,
- 18:04Speaker 6: there is nothing I won't tell you.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Listen, if any time you go to a sporting event,
- 18:09Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that you have to sit on cold
- 18:12Speaker 1: metal bleachers. Number one, they're not cold because in the
- 18:15Speaker 1: time of year, and number two, we don't even have
- 18:17Speaker 1: bleachers and if we did, they wouldn't be metal. And
- 18:20Speaker 1: number three, you just bring the chair, Chuck.
- 18:23Speaker 6: I got you. I got you, and I got the
- 18:25Speaker 6: part whether you were like trying to say there was
- 18:26Speaker 6: some bonding time we could hang out together, and I
- 18:29Speaker 6: got that. And then I offered you to go to
- 18:31Speaker 6: the movies with me to see something from my generation.
- 18:36Speaker 6: And the two of you are completely clueless. I mean,
- 18:38Speaker 6: your lady knows who he Man is and you don't.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I wouldn't know he Man if he walked in here
- 18:47Speaker 1: right now. I didn't watch that shit.
- 18:49Speaker 6: And the fact that you admit that on the air
- 18:53Speaker 6: is just baffling to me.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Do you know who Gilligan is from Gilligan?
- 18:58Speaker 6: I do. I was raised by my TV. My mom
- 19:00Speaker 6: was working to make sure I could I could eat?
- 19:03Speaker 1: What about the What about the Bunch? Do you know
- 19:06Speaker 1: who they know about.
- 19:06Speaker 6: The Brady Butch? Do you know two of them that
- 19:08Speaker 6: the that the mother and one of the kids had
- 19:11Speaker 6: an affair off off screen?
- 19:14Speaker 1: I did not know that.
- 19:15Speaker 6: Yeah, Marcia one, I think the little girl ended up
- 19:20Speaker 6: doing porn later in life.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Too, Marcia or the little one a little on.
- 19:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm pretty sure she ended up in porn and
- 19:28Speaker 6: mom ended up banging the older brother off screen. I
- 19:32Speaker 6: believe that's how it went.
- 19:33Speaker 1: That's beautiful.
- 19:35Speaker 6: Yeah, well that's celebrities for you.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I had such I had such a crush on Marcia,
- 19:40Speaker 1: Oh my god. And and who was the other one
- 19:42Speaker 1: from Killigan silent there? Uh? Mary?
- 19:47Speaker 2: Mary?
- 19:48Speaker 6: Yeah? Was it Mary? What was it?
- 19:51Speaker 5: Was?
- 19:52Speaker 6: The blonde dinger? Finger? Was the blonde? Yeah? Yeah, I
- 19:58Speaker 6: remember that many times in the bathroom I was in
- 20:02Speaker 6: thinking about her.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Chucky. Welcome to the start of the weekend. Hey man,
- 20:13Speaker 1: you know, I gotta ask you. I know, I know
- 20:17Speaker 1: that you're paying attention to the news and stuff.
- 20:19Speaker 6: What do you think ahead fake news or real news?
- 20:22Speaker 6: I mean, which one you know that's that's all fake? Now?
- 20:26Speaker 1: Do you trust the media?
- 20:28Speaker 6: Not at all? Not anymore? No, okay, no, I don't
- 20:33Speaker 6: trust anything that goes over the internet, anything it's on TV,
- 20:37Speaker 6: if it's not in my front yard. Look at me
- 20:39Speaker 6: in the face. I don't believe it. But listen, Oh
- 20:45Speaker 6: it's entertaining. Yeah, you see how far it's like the
- 20:48Speaker 6: UFO things. How far the government used the UFOs to
- 20:52Speaker 6: distract us. But yet everybody's okay with that, all the
- 20:55Speaker 6: money spent, it's just nuts.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm getting a I'm getting a message right now that
- 21:03Speaker 1: is just coming in breaking news here just a minute ago.
- 21:07Speaker 1: There's a bill related to the next steps on education
- 21:12Speaker 1: reform Infremont that is back on the Senate floor right now.
- 21:18Speaker 1: What do you think? What do you think about that?
- 21:21Speaker 6: I hope they're going to fix the damage that they
- 21:23Speaker 6: did and now I'm more of this soft touch stuff.
- 21:29Speaker 6: That's my answer. Okay, I don't think they I think
- 21:34Speaker 6: they screwed the system up a little bit and need
- 21:36Speaker 6: to realize it and fix it. But they won't admit it.
- 21:39Speaker 6: They'll just make it worse.
- 21:42Speaker 1: It says right here. This comes as from NBC five.
- 21:45Speaker 1: This comes after Select House and Senate lawmakers on a
- 21:49Speaker 1: committee of conference worked late into the evening last night
- 21:56Speaker 1: to draft a final bill for both chambers to vote on.
- 22:00Speaker 1: So we'll see it beat. The Senate's going to take
- 22:03Speaker 1: it up first, and I'm.
- 22:05Speaker 6: Hoping that they teach what's real and teach these kids
- 22:08Speaker 6: what life is really like, and so they go out
- 22:12Speaker 6: in the world knowing what they're about to walk into.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Yeah you you uh you bang that drum all the time.
- 22:18Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, Uh you you left me
- 22:22Speaker 1: a message about uh, these these punk ass kids who
- 22:26Speaker 1: apparently broke into.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Allegedly allegedly, yeah, right.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Broke into Nelson's Sace hardware.
- 22:34Speaker 6: Because remember, everybody is innocent till proven guilty, it's not
- 22:38Speaker 6: the other way around.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Uh yeah, And because their juveniles will never find out
- 22:44Speaker 1: their names.
- 22:45Speaker 6: No, it's fine, but.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Yeah, man, it's like, you know, you and I had
- 22:51Speaker 1: a little bit of uh of humor in this that
- 22:56Speaker 1: you know, if you're gonna break into something, why would
- 22:58Speaker 1: it be a hardware store? What are you looking at?
- 23:00Speaker 3: That's levers?
- 23:00Speaker 6: Because? Right? I mean do you even know how to
- 23:03Speaker 6: use the screwdriver?
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 23:04Speaker 6: I mean do you know? Do you know which kind
- 23:06Speaker 6: you need? The left handed or the right handed screwdriver?
- 23:09Speaker 6: I mean do they know that? I mean it's important? Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 6: I mean where is the blinker fluid? Did they know
- 23:14Speaker 6: where that goes?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 23:17Speaker 6: And I thought maybe they'd be smart enough to break
- 23:20Speaker 6: into the dispensary. That would make more sense. But whatever,
- 23:25Speaker 6: that was my generation, maybe we were a little above
- 23:28Speaker 6: the curve.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Right right, you know, I just like, yeah, your whole
- 23:33Speaker 1: point is, you know, if they were to break into Nelson's.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I mean, obviously they're they're just looking for money, But
- 23:38Speaker 1: I mean if they were to break in there and
- 23:41Speaker 1: get stuff, would they even know how to use it?
- 23:43Speaker 1: And that's that's your point.
- 23:46Speaker 6: No, I mean, it's not that I'm not banging the
- 23:48Speaker 6: kids and saying, oh man, you're stupid. It's just adults
- 23:51Speaker 6: have failed. Parents have failed. It's not the school's responsibility
- 23:56Speaker 6: to teach your kid poppy trained, tie your shoe, brush
- 23:59Speaker 6: your teeth. That's the parent's job. You want to know
- 24:02Speaker 6: why the taxes are growing up because the people at
- 24:05Speaker 6: the school have to do your job. So I don't know. Yeah,
- 24:11Speaker 6: and I'm not speaking to all of them. There's a
- 24:12Speaker 6: lot of parents that do great. If you aren't one
- 24:16Speaker 6: of those parents that I'm not talking to you.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think about this whole Daniel Bonnier story?
- 24:25Speaker 7: Oh yeah, that's that's uh uh Well, My thoughts are,
- 24:30Speaker 7: if you know you're in trouble and you run from it,
- 24:35Speaker 7: you get.
- 24:35Speaker 6: What you deserve. So you should have faced the music
- 24:41Speaker 6: and dealt with it. And then he fought back and
- 24:44Speaker 6: now you've shown everybody that it's okay to do that
- 24:48Speaker 6: and you're gonna get away with it. I don't I
- 24:51Speaker 6: don't think it's a good idea. I don't know the
- 24:53Speaker 6: whole story completely. But if he knew he had a
- 24:56Speaker 6: warn out for his arrest and he's hiding in another state,
- 25:00Speaker 6: you're a criminal and you should be treated as one.
- 25:04Speaker 6: But I don't know the whole story. The laws are
- 25:07Speaker 6: there because people can't do the right thing. It's our
- 25:12Speaker 6: own fault. The laws are there. That's a fact.
- 25:16Speaker 3: He was.
- 25:19Speaker 1: He was charged with aggravated assault after the altercation with
- 25:26Speaker 1: a constable's body camera when he was pulled over March
- 25:32Speaker 1: of twenty twenty four, and it got a little, uh,
- 25:36Speaker 1: it got a little strong.
- 25:38Speaker 6: Yeah, he's lucky he didn't get his ass shot.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Well, the jury found him not guilty, So.
- 25:47Speaker 6: Yeah, it sounds to me from what they're saying that
- 25:51Speaker 6: it sounds like they decided just to split it down
- 25:53Speaker 6: the middle and be like, Okay, you're a crook. You're
- 25:56Speaker 6: a crook. We're just going to call it even. That's
- 25:58Speaker 6: what it sounds like to me.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I mean, you know, he he's on camera
- 26:03Speaker 1: saying you're a dirty cop. Yeah, I saw that, you know,
- 26:08Speaker 1: and they had to wait for, like, I don't know,
- 26:10Speaker 1: a long time, an unreasonably long amount of time before
- 26:15Speaker 1: a police officer showed up as as backup.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Yeah, and that poor guy would have to handle. Now,
- 26:21Speaker 6: the guy maybe crooked. I don't know. I don't I
- 26:23Speaker 6: don't know. But remember, these guys do a hard job. Man.
- 26:27Speaker 6: It's not easy. They got to walk into a situation
- 26:30Speaker 6: they don't know what's going on, and they have to
- 26:32Speaker 6: worry about everybody else's safety, their safety. Nobody has any
- 26:37Speaker 6: respect for him. I mean, granted, it's hard too because
- 26:40Speaker 6: not it's not like it used to be. But these
- 26:43Speaker 6: guys have got to do a job because we can't
- 26:46Speaker 6: behave ourselves. So I don't know.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, do you think do you think that there's uh,
- 26:56Speaker 1: there's a pretty good amount of corruption in Vermont law enforcement? I?
- 27:02Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, there's coruption everywhere because you have to be policed.
- 27:06Speaker 6: Even the police have to be policed. You know, people,
- 27:09Speaker 6: people have to watch your government. You have to watch
- 27:12Speaker 6: that stuff. You can't put people in charge and be
- 27:14Speaker 6: like okay, we're good. No, you have to still police
- 27:19Speaker 6: your people, make sure you keep them in check. We're
- 27:22Speaker 6: only human. Yeah, maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. I
- 27:28Speaker 6: didn't come with a manual that tell me how to
- 27:30Speaker 6: do this stuff. I'm just seeing what I see and
- 27:32Speaker 6: call it as I see it.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, buddy, all right?
- 27:37Speaker 6: Anything else?
- 27:38Speaker 1: No, thank thank you for your your it's awful.
- 27:41Speaker 6: Quiet. Is he not there? I can't see you on
- 27:43Speaker 6: the phone.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah, no's not here. Not here.
- 27:46Speaker 6: That chicken you would see. He knew I'd be on
- 27:49Speaker 6: the air, and he was afraid.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Do not poke the bear. Do not poke the bear.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Oh okay, he'll destroy you and you He probably will.
- 27:58Speaker 6: Actually, I'm going to take that you want to take.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you should take that to heart because he will.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, I know. I don't.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I don't.
- 28:06Speaker 6: I don't need him. I don't need his feathers ruffle.
- 28:08Speaker 6: I'm all good, all right.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Uh listen, I love you too. Let's connect soon, all right? Yeah, yeah,
- 28:16Speaker 1: all right, buddy, have a great have a great weekend,
- 28:19Speaker 1: Chuck Martin. Right there, guy that's hopefully got some hemorrhoy
- 28:22Speaker 1: cream and it's going to get through the weekend. Just
- 28:25Speaker 1: fine with that stuff. Let's see, boy, we're getting Uh,
- 28:33Speaker 1: I'm getting a lot of comments here that are coming
- 28:37Speaker 1: in this morning about a lot of stuff. Yeah, Glenn
- 28:42Speaker 1: saying not all cops are crooked. Well, of course not,
- 28:46Speaker 1: of course not. Uh let's say you Rex.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Rex Thoms is sitting in the hot tub. What's going on?
- 28:52Speaker 1: Man? What do you say about this whole Daniel Bone thing?
- 28:56Speaker 5: Charged to tell that guy is such a clown. I
- 29:00Speaker 5: I can't stand that guy. And I'll tell you why I.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Can't stand that guy.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I hate even bringing up the clowns name because he's
- 29:07Speaker 5: a compulsive liar. I know for a fact he was
- 29:11Speaker 5: harassing his neighbors. He lied about the whole situation because
- 29:16Speaker 5: I'm a builder. It had nothing to do with the
- 29:19Speaker 5: Second Amendment. And he makes everybody that's fought for Second
- 29:22Speaker 5: Amendment look stupid. He is the worst thing for our
- 29:27Speaker 5: Second Amendment fight. I, my family and us. We've been
- 29:30Speaker 5: fighting this Second Amendment fight since the eighties when my
- 29:34Speaker 5: dad owned a gun store in the Brady Act all
- 29:36Speaker 5: of that. So Daniel Bonie, let's just give him a
- 29:40Speaker 5: little brief background. As a felon from New York. He
- 29:43Speaker 5: got caught for fraud in unemployment fraud. He claimed to
- 29:50Speaker 5: be a special operator from the military. So the way
- 29:56Speaker 5: I was introduced, the person hit me up and said, hey, man,
- 29:58Speaker 5: this poor guy down here was a Special Forces guy.
- 30:01Speaker 5: He was a private contractor and the neighbors, the neighbors
- 30:04Speaker 5: don't like his shooting range, and we want to show them.
- 30:10Speaker 5: And asked me if I was willing to come down
- 30:12Speaker 5: and do some things that were.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Not on the up and up, and I was like,
- 30:16Speaker 3: absolutely not. Man. So I went in and I started
- 30:22Speaker 3: looking into this guy, and.
- 30:23Speaker 5: I actually talked to Danielle and very first thing I
- 30:27Speaker 5: do when somebody says they're Special Operations, because that community
- 30:29Speaker 5: is very, very very small. My father was part of
- 30:33Speaker 5: the Special Operations community as a recondo.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Ranger attached to mc V SAG.
- 30:38Speaker 5: He was doing ricon in Laos in nineteen seventy one.
- 30:42Speaker 5: So I went on to work with Special Operations in
- 30:45Speaker 5: Central America chasing.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Pablo Escobar in the nineties. So the Special operations community
- 30:51Speaker 3: is very small.
- 30:51Speaker 5: When I asked him about it, all of a sudden,
- 30:54Speaker 5: he got real quiet, didn't want to talk.
- 30:55Speaker 3: About his military career.
- 30:57Speaker 5: Come to find out, he signed up as a cook,
- 30:59Speaker 5: didn't even make it through basic trainings.
- 31:01Speaker 3: He was there for two.
- 31:02Speaker 5: Weeks and left, so we found out that he completely
- 31:04Speaker 5: lied about his military service. Same then when you start
- 31:08Speaker 5: to follow up, you find out that he lied about
- 31:10Speaker 5: is being a contractor. He was never overseas, he never
- 31:13Speaker 5: did anything high speed. He's a compulsive liar, and he's
- 31:17Speaker 5: fooled a lot of people because they only read the
- 31:20Speaker 5: headlines and never look into Daniel. Daniel's a compulsive liar.
- 31:24Speaker 5: He should go back to New York where he was
- 31:27Speaker 5: kicked out of there too. The guy's a clown. And
- 31:30Speaker 5: you know what, he keeps spending the private messages and
- 31:33Speaker 5: I ignore that guy. I would much rather talk to
- 31:36Speaker 5: him face to face when he's within arms reach and
- 31:40Speaker 5: nobody's around, because unlike him, my credentials are real. What
- 31:51Speaker 5: you say about that JD. Yeah, a hero that people
- 31:54Speaker 5: want him to be.
- 31:56Speaker 6: He's not.
- 31:56Speaker 5: What's that now, He's not the hero that people want
- 31:59Speaker 5: it to be. It's going to piss off a lot
- 32:06Speaker 5: of your a lot of your listeners. And I go
- 32:10Speaker 5: on to the WCAX site and try to educate people and.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Troll the shit out of that ugly bastard.
- 32:21Speaker 5: I believe that the jury down there because it was
- 32:24Speaker 5: in Rutland. He has enough people on his side down
- 32:27Speaker 5: there that that that venue.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I never expected him to be.
- 32:30Speaker 5: Found guilty, especially, I mean the assault charges.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Very interesting.
- 32:40Speaker 3: That the originals. It all started over a building permit.
- 32:44Speaker 5: He lied on the building permit and claimed that he
- 32:47Speaker 5: was opening up a school and the school is a
- 32:49Speaker 5: different building permit versus a shooting range. And he knew
- 32:54Speaker 5: that it had nothing to do with the Second Amendment.
- 32:57Speaker 5: It had everything to do with zoning.
- 33:01Speaker 6: Huh.
- 33:02Speaker 5: And then, and the reason I know that is because
- 33:04Speaker 5: I work with towns all the time when it comes
- 33:06Speaker 5: to zoning. I know exactly what they're talking about. And
- 33:09Speaker 5: he just wanted to muddy the waters and make it
- 33:11Speaker 5: out he's looking for sympathy and people to stick up
- 33:14Speaker 5: for him instead of taking accountability that he was in
- 33:18Speaker 5: the wrong. He just thought he could fight it and
- 33:21Speaker 5: they wouldn't follow.
- 33:23Speaker 1: What's the Admittedly I'm not up with the latest on slate.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Rich have actually kind of forgotten about it.
- 33:30Speaker 5: All cut down, he fought it all the way, lost
- 33:33Speaker 5: every single court case, and then ended up with a
- 33:36Speaker 5: warrant for his arrest just because he still wouldn't follow
- 33:39Speaker 5: court order.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and he had a warrant for his arrest in
- 33:42Speaker 1: Vermont and he was he was in New York.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Fighting.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well some would say that. Yeah, and then he
- 33:51Speaker 1: came back into Vermont and that's where things got messy
- 33:55Speaker 1: with that constable. Do you do you think that was
- 33:58Speaker 1: beat his ass?
- 33:59Speaker 3: That was funny?
- 34:00Speaker 1: Do you think that was uh uh? Do you do
- 34:03Speaker 1: you think he should be guilty of of aggravated assault?
- 34:09Speaker 3: I don't know about that.
- 34:10Speaker 5: I think he got his that caught beat his ass
- 34:14Speaker 5: for a big who for a guy that acts like so.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Tough like that, you know, it's because it's funny. So
- 34:20Speaker 3: you know what he uses.
- 34:21Speaker 5: He plays the behind closed doors and in private he
- 34:25Speaker 5: acts like this billy bad ass and threatens people and shit,
- 34:29Speaker 5: but then goes to council.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Meetings and claims that they're going after him because he's Jewish.
- 34:36Speaker 5: He'll use any victim card he can fucking come up with.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Oh it's because I'm Jewish. Oh it's because of the
- 34:43Speaker 5: Second Amendment. Now it's because you're a fucking clown dude. Yeah,
- 34:49Speaker 5: that's the last I really want to talk about that guy. Yeah,
- 34:52Speaker 5: tell us how you and I hate bringing any attention
- 34:55Speaker 5: to him, tell us.
- 34:56Speaker 1: How you really feel. Wow, Rex, Yeah.
- 34:58Speaker 3: There you go.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Back I usually do, just because I don't want any
- 35:02Speaker 5: attention brought to that clown.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Well then, okay, that's fine, Let's let's move on. Let's
- 35:07Speaker 1: let's talk about what's happened to tomorrow night here on aired Out.

- 36:00Speaker 3: You'll see the commentators.
- 36:01Speaker 5: I'm one of the commentators, Deborah Ballard, Ronnie Patterson, those
- 36:06Speaker 5: are the commentators, so you get to hear the commentating
- 36:09Speaker 5: that you don't get to see when you're watching the
- 36:11Speaker 5: fights live. I love that it's a different perspective. It's
- 36:15Speaker 5: the perspective of all the different camera angles. It's the
- 36:18Speaker 5: perspective of the commentators to what they say.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it'll be a lot of fun. We're gonna start
- 36:27Speaker 3: doing that too.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Man, if you miss the fights, you can't afford it,
- 36:30Speaker 5: you know, maybe a couple months after the fights and
- 36:33Speaker 5: you want to watch the entire thing, even if you
- 36:35Speaker 5: watched it from the fans. It's so much fun to
- 36:38Speaker 5: watch it with the commentating and stuff.
- 36:40Speaker 1: All right, seven o'clock tomorrow. Thanks for doing this, dude.
- 36:46Speaker 3: It's my daughter because I can't figure out how to
- 36:49Speaker 3: run half this shit.
- 36:54Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Who's in the hot tub up here? Who's Yeah? Who's
- 36:57Speaker 1: in the hot tub with you? Right now?
- 37:00Speaker 5: Me?
- 37:01Speaker 3: There's myself is over there? I is over there?
- 37:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Do you ever hear that song of that poem? Rosa
- 37:07Speaker 3: red biser of blue, almost schizophrenic? So am I? They're
- 37:11Speaker 3: all in here with me?
- 37:14Speaker 1: Hey, don't drop that cell phone in the water.
- 37:17Speaker 3: No, Luckily it's waterproof.
- 37:21Speaker 1: It's all waterproof. Buddy, everything rocks, rocks. I hope he's okay.
- 37:34Speaker 1: One of our newest presenting sponsors is the Vermont Mountaineers.

- 37:51Speaker 1: about this, really excited about this. Opening night at the

- 38:12Speaker 1: gonna be supporting them, I'm gonna be talking about all
- 38:14Speaker 1: of their games. Everything that's coming up is really really cool.
- 38:19Speaker 1: It's gonna be a fantastic summer. I can't wait to
- 38:24Speaker 1: get out on my fishing boat. I can't wait to
- 38:29Speaker 1: start doing some of the things that I have not
- 38:31Speaker 1: been able to do for a long time, and I'm
- 38:36Speaker 1: finally going to be able to do it real soon.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Rapid fire here, Elon Musk is set to make more
- 38:44Speaker 1: money than every I shouldn't laugh here, every single American
- 38:52Speaker 1: elementary school teacher combined, is what they're saying now on believable.
- 39:00Speaker 1: But is it though?
- 39:03Speaker 3: Ah?
- 39:03Speaker 1: What else do we have?
- 39:05Speaker 3: Dirk?
- 39:06Speaker 6: You with us? Yes?
- 39:09Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? Man?
- 39:11Speaker 8: How's it going?
- 39:12Speaker 1: How are you?
- 39:13Speaker 3: I'm good?
- 39:13Speaker 8: Thank you, Thank you for having me, dude.
- 39:15Speaker 1: It's it's an absolute pleasure. Man. Uh, let's tell us
- 39:20Speaker 1: about Dirk McGirk. Who is this guy?
- 39:23Speaker 8: So I to be honest, I stole it from an
- 39:26Speaker 8: old Dirty Bastard song. It's it's one of his pseudonyms,
- 39:30Speaker 8: and it's it's something that I that I chose, you know,
- 39:33Speaker 8: just in the age of cancel culture, to be able
- 39:35Speaker 8: to speak my mind without having people come after me
- 39:39Speaker 8: for you know, just wanting to say the things that
- 39:41Speaker 8: I believe.
- 39:42Speaker 1: You have had some uh, for lack of a better term,
- 39:46Speaker 1: some pretty outrageous stuff that I've seen on social media
- 39:49Speaker 1: over at the last couple of years, five or so years,
- 39:54Speaker 1: and you've you've you've got an unusual sense of humor.
- 39:59Speaker 1: You've ticked off of few people, but you've also there's
- 40:01Speaker 1: also a good number of people that just absolutely love
- 40:04Speaker 1: your sense of humor. How would you describe it?
- 40:08Speaker 8: You know, it's it's it's dark. You know that comes
- 40:10Speaker 8: comes from a military background. You know, we like to
- 40:12Speaker 8: to run our mouths a little bit and you know,
- 40:14Speaker 8: try to be funny, but also you know, to the
- 40:17Speaker 8: for the most part, kind to each other when we can,
- 40:19Speaker 8: but again with a foundation of truth and that you know,
- 40:23Speaker 8: so so you know, all all honesty and all cards
- 40:26Speaker 8: on the table. My real name's Lee Hughes. I am
- 40:28Speaker 8: a native of Vermonor, I grew up in Barry, So
- 40:32Speaker 8: you know, I'm not ashamed to put my name to things.
- 40:35Speaker 8: But you know, when when you speak, you know, and
- 40:37Speaker 8: you have a career that you're trying to not get canceled,
- 40:41Speaker 8: you know it's easier to do it that way. But
- 40:43Speaker 8: you know, I'm not trying to hide my name.
- 40:45Speaker 1: When's the last time you've been up here to uh,
- 40:48Speaker 1: experience and and I say that not not just see
- 40:52Speaker 1: with your eyes, but experience the roads in Berry from hot.
- 40:58Speaker 8: So my trips don't drive me through Barry too too
- 41:01Speaker 8: much anymore. So I keep a house in Lindenville. My
- 41:04Speaker 8: family is still in Vermont. You know, there's just not
- 41:07Speaker 8: a lot of job opportunities in my line of work
- 41:09Speaker 8: up there, so I spend most of my time down
- 41:11Speaker 8: in the Washington, DC area. But the roads everywhere in
- 41:17Speaker 8: Vermont are just atrocious, but Barry is particularly bad. I mean,
- 41:20Speaker 8: we do have challenging roads in the area, but I've
- 41:23Speaker 8: seen nothing but hate and discontent on social media, people
- 41:26Speaker 8: getting their vehicles trashed and every other thing with the
- 41:29Speaker 8: condition of those roads.
- 41:30Speaker 1: It's hot right now, man, it is. And I've got
- 41:32Speaker 1: some updates on some of the detours here this morning.
- 41:35Speaker 1: That I'll get to it a little bit. But I
- 41:37Speaker 1: was just saying when you called in that there's news
- 41:41Speaker 1: out that Elon Musk is going to be making more
- 41:44Speaker 1: money than every single American elementary school teacher combined.
- 41:49Speaker 8: What say you, I mean economy. I'm not I'm not surprised.
- 41:56Speaker 8: I mean, it's it's you know, teachers are hard workers.
- 42:00Speaker 8: It's unfortunate, but I mean, I I don't necessarily believe
- 42:03Speaker 8: that his making that kind of money is robbing them
- 42:06Speaker 8: of pay in any way. But you know, it's it's
- 42:10Speaker 8: tough to watch people struggle.
- 42:12Speaker 5: You know.
- 42:12Speaker 8: I often say when I when I talk about Vermont's
- 42:14Speaker 8: economy to my my friends down here, that it's it's
- 42:18Speaker 8: such a challenging environment. Again, that's the reason why i'm
- 42:20Speaker 8: here in that you know that the cost of living
- 42:24Speaker 8: in Vermont is basically a Boston cost of living, but
- 42:27Speaker 8: it rides on a West Virginia economy, you know, and
- 42:30Speaker 8: it's hard for people to make that work.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Interesting. Wow, what what do you are? You are you
- 42:38Speaker 1: keeping up with this whole Daniel Bonnier story up here?
- 42:43Speaker 8: I know very little about it. I mean, I've just
- 42:45Speaker 8: seen kind of the cursory stuff. He's the slate ridge owner. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yep.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:52Speaker 8: Again, I don't know all of the details, but in
- 42:54Speaker 8: the stuff that I've seen over the years as it transpires,
- 42:57Speaker 8: I mean, it seems like there's kind of a concerted
- 42:59Speaker 8: effort to to attack this guy. And I don't know
- 43:02Speaker 8: if it's well founded or not, but it seems like
- 43:05Speaker 8: he's got some legitimate arguments.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:08Speaker 8: And I mean in all in all fairness too, I mean,
- 43:11Speaker 8: the guy doesn't do a very good job of marketing himself.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know, here's the thing, and it's and
- 43:19Speaker 1: it's like you know, and and Chuck was was kind
- 43:22Speaker 1: of alluding to this too. It's a who do you what? What? What?
- 43:25Speaker 1: What source do you trust? Here? I mean, you know,
- 43:28Speaker 1: there's there's corrupt police officers, constables, courts, judges, prosecutors, air everywhere. Man.
- 43:39Speaker 1: But but I think this is a kind of a
- 43:42Speaker 1: combined effort on both parts too, to fall short. I
- 43:46Speaker 1: think both sides have kind of screwed up. And like
- 43:49Speaker 1: Chuck was saying, maybe they're they're just washing their hands
- 43:52Speaker 1: of this and and saying, all right, the jury has
- 43:56Speaker 1: found you not guilty of aggravated the salt after the
- 44:02Speaker 1: the the traffic stop that got real physical a couple
- 44:08Speaker 1: of years ago. We're just gonna we're just gonna close
- 44:11Speaker 1: the book on this thing and move on and not
- 44:14Speaker 1: get this anymore tangled up into the courts than it
- 44:17Speaker 1: needs to be. This has been going on for years. Man,
- 44:20Speaker 1: this has turned into a pissing match.
- 44:22Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, it's certainly what it sounds like. And I,
- 44:25Speaker 8: again not being a subject matter expert, I can't help
- 44:28Speaker 8: but kind of draw some parallels to the Killdozer situation.
- 44:32Speaker 8: I don't know if you were ever familiar with that.
- 44:34Speaker 1: No, please enlighten please.
- 44:37Speaker 8: So I don't know how long ago it was, but
- 44:39Speaker 8: there was a municipal dispute again for zoning ordinance with
- 44:44Speaker 8: a guy, and I don't remember what a state this
- 44:47Speaker 8: was in, but he was going back and forth with
- 44:50Speaker 8: what seemed to be like a good old boy city council.
- 44:53Speaker 8: And one of the people that was on this city
- 44:55Speaker 8: council wanted a piece of land that this guy owned
- 44:57Speaker 8: and he didn't win it in an auction. The other
- 45:00Speaker 8: the landowner, won it, and they did nothing but use
- 45:02Speaker 8: that city government to come after him for taxes. I
- 45:06Speaker 8: think they denied him like water main rights and all
- 45:09Speaker 8: sorts of stuff, and it was just like a really
- 45:11Speaker 8: egregious abuse of power on the part of that municipality,
- 45:15Speaker 8: and they just drove this guy to a breaking point
- 45:17Speaker 8: and he bought this massive bulldozer, armored it, and used
- 45:21Speaker 8: it to destroy the town. There's a movie on Netflix
- 45:25Speaker 8: about it. But I mean, I just see it, and
- 45:28Speaker 8: I'm like that that the abuse of power on the
- 45:31Speaker 8: municipality's part just kind of strikes me as being similar.
- 45:33Speaker 8: It just seems like there's a grudge against this guy
- 45:35Speaker 8: in the activity that he's engaged in, and they're going
- 45:39Speaker 8: after him for it. Again, I don't have all the facts,
- 45:41Speaker 8: so I don't know.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you remember the story of this guy that
- 45:46Speaker 1: had the gigantic middle finger that was part of the
- 45:51Speaker 1: art that was directed on his front? Do you remember that?
- 45:55Speaker 8: I've seen some photos?
- 45:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, right here in the beautiful green out in state. Yeah. Uh,
- 46:02Speaker 1: interesting stuff, man, Listen, I really want to get you
- 46:06Speaker 1: more in the air. I've got a friend here who's uh,
- 46:10Speaker 1: he's one of these flat earth dudes. Where do you
- 46:14Speaker 1: stand on the whole flat earth thing? Do you have
- 46:16Speaker 1: any any feelings about that any thoughts. I mean, I I.
- 46:22Speaker 8: Look at Elon and his satellite photography, and I think
- 46:24Speaker 8: we've got the technology out there to kind of disprove that.
- 46:27Speaker 8: But yeah, I haven't been up in space to witness
- 46:30Speaker 8: it myself, so I won't. You know, I'm not going
- 46:32Speaker 8: to attack anybody else's opinions.
- 46:33Speaker 1: What about sasquatch, what about bigfoot?
- 46:36Speaker 8: I mean, I'm kind of a Sasquatch myself. That's it's
- 46:41Speaker 8: a profile photo that I've used on some of those
- 46:43Speaker 8: accounts in the past. Yeah, it may be me that
- 46:48Speaker 8: these people have seen wandering about in the you know, ha.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Ha, I knew it was you, and you've been over
- 46:56Speaker 1: to uh where is it over there in New York
- 46:59Speaker 1: there in the Lower Champlain Valley. Can't think of the
- 47:01Speaker 1: name of the town. Oh.
- 47:02Speaker 8: I used to drive through there all the time, right
- 47:05Speaker 8: on the other side of the border from like Castleton. Yeah,
- 47:08Speaker 8: big Sasquatch town. Yeah, yeah, I've actually stopped and photographed
- 47:11Speaker 8: that the sign, the big Sasquatch out front with the
- 47:14Speaker 8: with the little Sasquatch on his back.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Absolutely. Apparently there's been a lot of sightings in that
- 47:19Speaker 1: part of of the valley and pushing into the Adirondecks there.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Next time I go through there, I'm gonna take a
- 47:26Speaker 1: picture and send it to you.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Brother.
- 47:27Speaker 8: All right, sounds good?
- 47:28Speaker 1: All right, man, Hey, let's get you back on soon.
- 47:30Speaker 1: All right, all right, be well brother, Hey, thanks for
- 47:33Speaker 1: connecting end with us. Man, appreciate it, all right, thank you? Yeah,
- 47:37Speaker 1: what a uh what an interesting uh perspective from a
- 47:42Speaker 1: few folks here this morning about a couple of different things.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Very interesting, very very interesting. I know I have to
- 47:54Speaker 1: get to some community events here. There's some things that
- 47:57Speaker 1: are happening this weekend that are really big. I can't
- 48:02Speaker 1: believe that we're into the final weekend of May. We
- 48:09Speaker 1: got Barber's Poker Run done by Wilkins that's coming up tomorrow.
- 48:17Speaker 1: We got the Lions Club doing their big coin drop
- 48:21Speaker 1: from ten to two tomorrow. Please support the Lions Club
- 48:26Speaker 1: if you can. You don't have to be a hero.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Just a dollar here, a five there. We got the
- 48:34Speaker 1: big car show coming up at the Funny Farm on
- 48:37Speaker 1: Route three to two from ten to noon. Speaking of
- 48:42Speaker 1: car shows, Upper Valley Cars and Coffee, they got some
- 48:48Speaker 1: real big ones that are coming up. And if you
- 48:51Speaker 1: are a classic car enthusiast, do not miss this up
- 48:58Speaker 1: and down the Connecticut River Valley and I'm just looking here.
- 49:04Speaker 1: July twelfth is going to be their first one over
- 49:09Speaker 1: at the Powerhouse Mall that's right right behind like Louis
- 49:14Speaker 1: Louis right there in west left, starts at let's see
- 49:19Speaker 1: eight in the morning, goes till eleven am. They got
- 49:23Speaker 1: some great sponsors, They've got an opportunity for you to,
- 49:27Speaker 1: you know, make a donation. They've got Venmo set up,
- 49:30Speaker 1: They've got coffee, They've got all kinds of great vendors
- 49:33Speaker 1: that are going to be involved with it. It is
- 49:35Speaker 1: going to be incredible. I cannot wait. I'm so excited
- 49:38Speaker 1: for this summer. A few days left in May and
- 49:44Speaker 1: then we are headfirst into June. Yesterday and May, I
- 49:48Speaker 1: gotta say that was really really cool for those students
- 49:53Speaker 1: to come in here from Spaulding High School, the Tones,
- 50:00Speaker 1: to come in and sit down and share a laugh,
- 50:03Speaker 1: but also share the great information about what they're doing
- 50:08Speaker 1: not only at Spalding as a fundraiser on the tenth
- 50:15Speaker 1: of June for the Make a Wish Foundation, but also
- 50:19Speaker 1: the fact that they're going to be over at Currier Park.
- 50:23Speaker 1: The twelfth actually is their show at Spaulding High School
- 50:28Speaker 1: for the Make a Wish Foundation. Donations only, just make
- 50:32Speaker 1: a donation, go and watch the show. That's going to
- 50:34Speaker 1: be great. The June twelfth is a Friday, but the
- 50:40Speaker 1: tenth they'll be two days earlier. They'll be at Currier
- 50:44Speaker 1: Park every Wednesday. Currier Park's got the food trucks, they've
- 50:48Speaker 1: got the Farmer's market, they've got live music in the
- 50:52Speaker 1: park and the Tones, this high school band from Spalding
- 50:56Speaker 1: is going to be there on the tenth. And by
- 50:58Speaker 1: the way, those Wednesdays at Curier Park start up this
- 51:03Speaker 1: coming Wednesday, the third of June and run right on
- 51:10Speaker 1: through September. This coming she's a week from yesterday. This
- 51:18Speaker 1: coming Thursday. Upper Valley Adult Daycare has got their Enchanted Garden,
- 51:25Speaker 1: fourth annual Senior prom fundraiser at the kueche Inn. We've
- 51:29Speaker 1: had them on the air promoting this. I think it's
- 51:33Speaker 1: such a great idea, it's so cool. I can't believe
- 51:35Speaker 1: they've been doing it, you know, all these years and
- 51:40Speaker 1: just find out out about it now. This will be
- 51:43Speaker 1: their fourth. Also on June fourth, Barry City Middle School's
- 51:48Speaker 1: got their spring concert at six point thirty. I had
- 51:51Speaker 1: some folks reach out to me and ask me if
- 51:53Speaker 1: I would promote that. You bet it's on the page.
- 51:56Speaker 1: It's on aired out too on the fifth, June fifth,
- 52:03Speaker 1: which is Friday. Look at this calendar, it is packed full.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Friday the fifth, the thirtieth annual Hospice Memorial Golf Tournament,
- 52:17Speaker 1: hosted by the Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice, is
- 52:20Speaker 1: going to be at the Country Club of Barry And
- 52:23Speaker 1: I'll tell you why this is such a big deal
- 52:26Speaker 1: and why supporting something like this truly matters and is
- 52:32Speaker 1: so important. This tournament helps raise critical funds for Central
- 52:40Speaker 1: Vermont Home Health and Hospice's hospice program, which does so much.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Provides incredible compassionate care and not just end of life
- 52:54Speaker 1: care to patients and families in the comfort of their
- 52:59Speaker 1: own homes, but light years beyond that. We're talking about
- 53:04Speaker 1: almost eleven thousand visits home visits just in the last year,
- 53:13Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty four hospice patients, twenty two hundred
- 53:18Speaker 1: social worker and bereavement visits, twenty five incredible volunteers contributing
- 53:26Speaker 1: over eleven hundred hours delivering meals, driving folks to doctor's appointments,
- 53:36Speaker 1: getting them to where they need to be. This is
- 53:39Speaker 1: what your support is going to be going toward. And
- 53:43Speaker 1: I got to tell you, as a podcast that modestly
- 53:47Speaker 1: started eight years ago, we have grown into something really
- 53:53Speaker 1: big and I'm very proud of it. And I'm so
- 53:56Speaker 1: proud to say that I'm at a point where we're
- 54:01Speaker 1: able to be a presenting sponsor of this event, of
- 54:08Speaker 1: this golf tournament, and this year we are wanted to
- 54:12Speaker 1: last year. This year we are, and I am so
- 54:17Speaker 1: excited for this event. Do I play golf? The answer
- 54:24Speaker 1: to that is no. I think I've made that very
- 54:26Speaker 1: clear on the air. I played mini golf thirty years ago,
- 54:34Speaker 1: going through the windmill, and that's it. I don't swing
- 54:41Speaker 1: golf clubs, so I don't know anything about golf. But
- 54:47Speaker 1: I will be there enjoying the other golfers and watching
- 54:52Speaker 1: them slave through eighteen holes at an amazing, great local course,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and be there with you, our community, to cheer them
- 55:04Speaker 1: on and support them. There's gonna be a lot of
- 55:07Speaker 1: people there. I believe it may even be sold out.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Last I knew they were getting really close. The lunch
- 55:16Speaker 1: is going to be amazing. I'll be there I'll take
- 55:18Speaker 1: you with me too. If you can't be, I'll take
- 55:20Speaker 1: you there. We're going to stream it live and I'm
- 55:24Speaker 1: just excited. If you want to get involved, if you
- 55:28Speaker 1: want to volunteer, if you want to sponsor, contact Emily McKenna.
- 55:35Speaker 1: She's the chief Advancement officer over at Central Vermunt Home
- 55:38Speaker 1: Health in Osma. She was just on the air with
- 55:39Speaker 1: me a short time ago, her phone number two two
- 55:42Speaker 1: four twenty two to fifteen two two four twenty two fifteen.
- 55:49Speaker 1: And if you missed any of that and you want
- 55:51Speaker 1: to get involved, get in touch with me. That's easy
- 55:54Speaker 1: enough to do, and I will get you in touch
- 55:56Speaker 1: with them. Then on the Styx, which is a Saturday
- 56:04Speaker 1: in June. This first weekend in June is gonna be
- 56:08Speaker 1: just wow. The Stephen Tracy Memorial Ride and Poker Run
- 56:14Speaker 1: will be at the Den. Registration at ten, ride starts
- 56:18Speaker 1: at eleven. Proceeds benefit of Williamstown student going into the workforce.
- 56:24Speaker 1: We've got it on the aired out page. Then on
- 56:28Speaker 1: Sunday the seventh, look at this, I know this is
- 56:31Speaker 1: it's every day Sunday, June seventh, The Berlin Mall has
- 56:37Speaker 1: got a food truck festival. That is not just Sunday
- 56:41Speaker 1: the seventh, that's just the start of it. They're going
- 56:44Speaker 1: to be doing it every Sunday all summer long at
- 56:50Speaker 1: the back parking lot of the Berlin Mall. So if
- 56:56Speaker 1: you're coming out of Planet Fitness or that area or Walmart,
- 57:01Speaker 1: looks straight ahead way in the back that part of
- 57:04Speaker 1: the parking lot from noon until seven. If you'd like
- 57:07Speaker 1: to be a vendor, all you have to do is
- 57:09Speaker 1: get in touch with Annie Riley over there two seven
- 57:12Speaker 1: to two ten sixty six, two seven to two ten
- 57:17Speaker 1: sixty six. That's going to be huge. We've got vendors already,
- 57:22Speaker 1: because she says, she's telling me all kinds of ethnic
- 57:25Speaker 1: foods already lined up, and they're just people love this stuff.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I don't know if you've been up Route one in Wells, Maine,
- 57:38Speaker 1: My god, I mean, they do food truck festivals like
- 57:42Speaker 1: every Wednesday and Saturday nights. It's jammed so many people there.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I love the tacos.
- 57:51Speaker 6: What else?
- 57:54Speaker 1: June twelfth, And I know I'm pushing it just a
- 57:58Speaker 1: little bit, but there's a reason why. Because I want
- 58:00Speaker 1: to get this message out so that you can get
- 58:03Speaker 1: a jump on this. The last flood that we had
- 58:09Speaker 1: here Ian Vermont. We had the flood of twenty three,
- 58:14Speaker 1: the flood of twenty four, horrible floods, and combined they
- 58:23Speaker 1: both took out the entire kitchen at the American Legion
- 58:28Speaker 1: Post ten right here on North Main Street. And they
- 58:34Speaker 1: have been trying to figure out what to do to
- 58:37Speaker 1: fundraise and get enough money together to go out and
- 58:41Speaker 1: buy all this kitchen equipment. And we're talking about really
- 58:45Speaker 1: expensive stuff here. The stoves, the ovens, the sinks, the refrigerators.
- 58:52Speaker 1: This is all industrial grades stuff. This isn't you know,
- 58:57Speaker 1: stuff that you can go get at the local appliance shop.
- 59:02Speaker 1: This is big stuff and it's got a big price
- 59:05Speaker 1: tag to it. The club managers, the volunteers, the folks
- 59:13Speaker 1: from the Elks Lodge, the VFW, the American Legion, the
- 59:18Speaker 1: Bury Area Veterans Council all pulled together and said we're
- 59:23Speaker 1: gonna have a Calcutta. We're going to have a lot
- 59:26Speaker 1: of fun. It's going to be at the Bury Elks
- 59:31Speaker 1: Lodge on Friday, June twelfth, and you can get tickets
- 59:37Speaker 1: at the VFW, the Bury Elks Lodge or the American
- 59:40Speaker 1: Legion one hundred dollars Calcutta. That's good for two people,
- 59:47Speaker 1: two meals. Come out and support this this this couse
- 59:56Speaker 1: so that they can get their kitchen backup, so that
- 59:58Speaker 1: can start doing stuff again like making meals for our
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: community for Christmas and Thanksgiving like they did for decades.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Big props to Bob Campo and Steve England, sons of
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: the American Legion Squadron ten, for saying, no way, Jose,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: We're not going to be waiting any longer. We got
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to do something now. So I wanted to make sure
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: you know about that June twelfth, that's a Friday too.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Been in touch with FGB theaters. Boy, there's some great
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: movies playing this weekend. We'll get the listings. I'll post
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: it up. Toy Story five is coming out on the
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: nineteenth of June. I love FGB Theaters. They have been
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: a they've been a presenting sponsor. I think they were
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: second second oldest presenting sponsor here of the aired out podcast,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: right next to Gothier's Quality Grounds and Maintenance. Eight years
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: now that they've been presenting this podcast. I've been down
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: to the Capitol, I've been to the Paramount, I've streamed
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: live in the past when they've had it, Bohemian Rhapsody
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and a few other great movies. I'm gonna be there
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: for Toy Story five. Not sure what theater yet, but
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna be there. I'm gonna be having fun with you.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: We're gonna be playing music from Toy Story five. I
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: note that there's almost a is it fair to say,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: almost a cult following of Toy Story. Every time you
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: watch any of the Toy Story movies, there's some little
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: innuendo that you missed the previous time. Such a great series.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: So we're gonna have fun, a lot of fun on
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the nineteenth, when Toy Story five comes out. I'll let
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you know what theater I'm gonna be at. Also in
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: the nineteenth, Mayo Healthcare is having their Father's Day car
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: show from eleven till two in Northfield, and that's the
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: start the Father's Day weekend, the start of the Queechy
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Balloon Festival, which you run Friday, Saturday Sunday. Yeah, I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: know there's a lot that's going on in the spirit
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: of Friday Morning we have and I love to throw
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: this stuff at you. I love to hear what you
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: have to say. You know, the worst thing about the
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Internet is feeling At least I think one of the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: worst things is feeling obligated to pick sides between two
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: equally stupid arguments. But this one got my attention because
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: it's gone viral and I saw this and I was like,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: oh my god, I have to talk about this out
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: of the air. What kind of restaurants surfer on TikTok
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: that has gone viral now for telling a story about
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: how an adult male customer demanded that she cut his
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: burger in half, and he said that he would even
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: tip her more so she gave in. When he first asked,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: she said that she couldn't cut people's burgers. She said,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I'll get you a good knife to do it yourself,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: but he pressed on and insisted that she do it.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I've got the video, I'll put it on. I'll put
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: it on aired out. Who do you think is in
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: the the the right here? Honestly? I mean, you know,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I would be just fine not being in the in
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: that restaurant, whatever the name of the restaurant is. I'll
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: find out, uh, with either either of them. I mean,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: should this waitress just have just walked away? Said I'm
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: not dealing with it? Go get a manager whatever, or
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: is it is it just not that big of a deal.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Just it's not that big of a deal. Just reach
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: over and cut the guy's burger in a half, especially
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: if he says he's gonna give you an extra tip
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: and he did three dollars. Again, I'll post up the video.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You tell me what you think. There's a lot really
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: stupid shit that's on the internet these days, and I'll
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: be honest with you. We've had Chrilyn and I have
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: had some really good laughs, not just the reels, but
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: just the stories. Somebody just paid eight hundred bucks for
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: a five thousand square foot piece of property in San Francisco.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: The property is underwater. The realtors are calling it, quote
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: a unique opportunity for creative ownership scam. You think the
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: asking price was two hundred and fifty dollars for this
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: five thousand square foot piece of fully submerged land, but
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: I wound up selling for close to eight hundred. The
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: underwater lot sits near Candlestick State Park and the Hunter's
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Point Shipyard. Yeah. I mean, you know, if you're a
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: scuba diver and you've got enough air in your tank,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: why not get go down? There and just sit there
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and you know, do some swimming or you know, some recreation,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: sit on the bottom for twelve minutes while you still
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: have air and say, this is mine. I own this
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: sludge that I'm sitting in right now in my wet
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: suit with my air tank on. Apparently there's a couple
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: of underwater lots near Hunter's Point that are going to
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: be going up for auction pretty soon. I'm not kidding.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: There's a lot of weird things that are happening in
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: this world. I don't understand most of it. Read the
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: news about Charlotte, North Carolina. I don't know if you did,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Fastest growing city in America. One million people are now
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: in Charlotte, North Carolina, fastest growing area in the United States.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: The population jumped six point eight percent twenty miles from
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: uptown Charlotte. Over twenty thousand people have moved in between
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: twenty four and twenty five, more than any other city
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: in the country, and since twenty five that number has
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: jumped significantly. Now we're at one million people in Charlotte,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: North Carolina, and they are standing united behind their common
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: phrase now, which is and I'm serious, this is their
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: phrase right here and literally I'm quoting here. No more
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: We're full. That's the slogan for Charlotte, North Carolina. Now
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: no more, We're full. Donna's asking what's in Charlotte the raceway, Donna.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: A major driver in its growth was its affordability compared
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: to other cities. But locals are now worried that because
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: of the swelling population, that things are going to now
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: be more exp more congested, and that Charlotte is going
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to be turning into the next Atlanta. Wow. Yes, I
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: love sharing stuff like this with you on the air.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: The water main break on Maple Laugh between Brook Street
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: and the city Line yesterday, residents businesses experienced a water outage. Well,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the crews were working to complete this repair. I haven't
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: seen online. I'll have a look here. Is that fixed?
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Do we know? Or is that still? Is that? Are
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: they still.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Working on that?
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I'm not seeing anything unless it's slipped by me, which
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: it may have because I got a lot of emails here.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I think that project is still being worked on. And
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: if you know more than I do, please let me know.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I know that traffic on Maple Aft reduced to one lane.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I know the flaggers are busy in that air. We're
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: busy in that area yesterday. I'm not sure about what's
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: going on right now. No estimated time frame for when
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: repairs and water service restoration will be completed. That's coming
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: in from the city. Also due to construction of the
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: new housing complex along South Seminary Street, the Rinker parking
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Lot and the Campbell Place parking lot are permanently closed
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: beginning today. Permanently closed. Those parking lots are pretty rough shape.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Would you agree? I don't know if I'm overly saddened
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: to see that those parking lots are going by bye.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Maybe you are. Respect Those with daytime parking permits may
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: park at any green topped meter. There are green topped
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: meters in the following locations Campbell Parking Lot, Pearl Street Lot,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Keith Aff Granted parking lot. That's Lot D, Merchants Row
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Parking Lot along Summer Street, along Auditorium Hill, and along
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Cottage Street. And those with overnight parking permits can park
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: at any green top meter. This is from the city,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: by the way, and I know many of you got
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: this through the regroup. You will not be ticketed for
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: not parking in a designated overnight parking space. Through the
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: construction period. There you have it, got that out on
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: the air. What else did I need to tell you
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: this morning? Yes, g is not here. Obviously, we're hoping
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: that we'll be back next Friday. Lo Carnos to Go.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I love to talk about Lacarno's. And here's why. Craig
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: and Melissa have been putting together fresh new items, stocking
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: up their coolers, making these fresh food items with local ingredients.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: And I'm emphasizing fresh because wow, is it had something
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: over at the Green Mountain Community Fitness It was like
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: a yogurt parfait while ago. It's absolutely delicious. All of
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: the coolers are stocked up ready to go. We're talking
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: about the coolers over at Central Front Meats on Pretzel
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Road in Orange Hill Street Market, Green Mountain Community Fitness
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: and yes, CVMC, it's one of the new cooler locations
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: for these grab and go meals. It's lunch, it's dinner,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: it's breakfast. You got the weekend right in front of you.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: If you're busy, you got to get home. The kids
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: got a game something from Locarno's to go. You won't
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: regret it. And Melissa and Craig they know what they're doing.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Very talented chefs. The pieces are incredible, by the way
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: as well. FGB Theaters dot Com. We were talking about

- 1:15:37Speaker 1: loaded up in the popcorn and candy and watching Woody

- 1:16:32Speaker 1: good ones, there's some great ones, and I have been
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: enjoying seeing some of the response that has come in
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: on some of them. But I want to ask you this.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: I want to ask you, what are the three absolute
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: must things that you do every summer that, come hell
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: or high water, you're doing it. Maybe it's fireworks, Maybe
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: it's chasing the ice cream truck. Maybe it's a swimming hole.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: For me, it's catching fireflies with Lily. For our family,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: it's the Lake Morey Summer Concerts series. It's always been
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: the Fairly Drive in which sadly, very sadly has closed.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: It's for me, sitting in the river under the stars
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: on a nice, hot, humid summer night. These are things
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: that I'll always do in the summer. What about you?
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: And if it is a swiming hole, I want to
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: know which one, because I got a couple of favorites too,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: and I'll share them with you. Okay, I'll tell you
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: mine if you tell me yours. You don't have to
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: tell me your your favorite. You know, fishing hole. I
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: understand that's a private But when it comes to swimming,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I would like to know. I would love to know. Actually,

- 1:18:42Speaker 1: if the weather's shit. You can still do things in
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the house. You can still get the family out of
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: the house. Go do things, be happy. Don't sit home
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: on the couch. You've been doing that all winter. Now
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: a little bit of rain shouldn't be stopping you. What
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: have we got for the race fans Sunday, Great north
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Woods one point fifty at Riverside one o'clock. Is that
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: gonna happen? Will Mother Nature allob it? Don't know? Hope.

- 1:19:51Speaker 1: So if you're plan to drink, please don't drive. We
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: always get a lot of bad stuff that's hitting the

- 1:20:04Speaker 1: of yourself. Okay, stay well, God bless have a fantastic
