- 0:07You're listening to the Hidden Likeness on America
- 0:08Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:10I'm your host Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:12Before President Trump left for China, he made
- 0:15a startling uh statement.
- 0:19And this really caught my attention.
- 0:22And he kind of said it in passing,
- 0:24but I think it's really a huge deal.
- 0:26And it's got a lot of implications for
- 0:28all of us.
- 0:30He told reporters on Tuesday of last week
- 0:33that he's not weighing the economic burden of
- 0:36the Iran war on everyday Americans, according to
- 0:39NBC News.
- 0:42Now his direct quote is he's not thinking
- 0:46about Americans' finances even a little bit.
- 0:51And he repeated it not once, but twice.
- 0:56He means what he says.
- 1:03I don't think he is concerned with Americans'
- 1:06finances, with our finances.
- 1:09Not even a little bit.
- 1:12He went on to say, quote, the only
- 1:15thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran,
- 1:18that they can't have a nuclear weapon.
- 1:21I don't think about Americans' financial situation.
- 1:24I don't think about anybody.
- 1:26I think about one thing.
- 1:28We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.
- 1:31That's all.
- 1:33Now this is intriguing to me.
- 1:38This is fascinating because I've been saying this
- 1:41from the mountaintops for a very, very long
- 1:43time now.
- 1:46That the government doesn't care about you.
- 1:51And this is not this is not for
- 1:53us to hit the panic button, be like,
- 1:55oh my goodness, you know, get our feelings
- 1:56hurt.
- 1:58Oh, the government doesn't care about us.
- 2:00No, it's quite the opposite.
- 2:02I think it's actually empowering.
- 2:05I think it's empowering for us because we
- 2:07have the freedom in this nation.
- 2:10We have the freedom and the ability to
- 2:13be able to figure our own finances out.
- 2:17We've been given that God given freedom.
- 2:20Actually, our forefathers, the founders of this nation,
- 2:24established a nation to give radical independence to
- 2:27the American people.
- 2:31For us to be able to live on
- 2:33capitalism.
- 2:35We're a capitalistic society where we have the
- 2:40freedom to be able to produce, to barter,
- 2:45to trade, to exchange services with one another.
- 2:51The sky's the limit.
- 2:53And so many people put limitations on themselves.
- 2:57And this is not, this is not going
- 3:00to be a show where I'm all depressed
- 3:03and angry that President Trump, you know, how
- 3:06dare could he say something like that?
- 3:10I think he's just confirming what I already
- 3:13know, and a lot of Americans already knew.
- 3:16And that's that the president doesn't care about
- 3:18your finances.
- 3:22People are like, oh, we should tell President
- 3:24Trump how much pain we have at the
- 3:27pump.
- 3:29That this is hurting us.
- 3:32You don't think he knows that?
- 3:36Yeah, he's very clearly not doing anything.
- 3:39Now that he's in office, he's not doing
- 3:41anything to appease his base.
- 3:44Which is really interesting.
- 3:46Over 70% of Americans right now disapprove of
- 3:48Trump's economy.
- 3:53Over 70%.
- 3:54People are losing patience with him.
- 3:56They're getting fed up, even his own base
- 3:59is starting to get upset because of the
- 4:02pain that they're feeling.
- 4:05Now it's really interesting to me.
- 4:07It's very interesting to me.
- 4:09That people get upset with the president.
- 4:11Now, do you remember President Obama?
- 4:14Do you remember what happened to the economy
- 4:15under him?
- 4:18I mean, this is nothing, in my opinion.
- 4:22You remember the whole housing bubble?
- 4:27It just imploded on itself.
- 4:30And people didn't like President Obama's economy during
- 4:34that period either, but they re-elected him.
- 4:39He got re-elected.
- 4:42The whole cash for clunkers thing, the housing
- 4:45bubble, uh interest rates were just absolutely bottomed
- 4:48out.
- 4:52Like all kinds of crazy stuff.
- 4:56You know, that was the irony.
- 4:58Interest rates were bottomed out, but people couldn't
- 4:59buy homes.
- 5:00They couldn't, or they I guess they couldn't
- 5:02sell their homes was the problem.
- 5:04It was a buyer's market, not a seller's
- 5:06market.
- 5:08People couldn't sell their homes, and the people
- 5:11who could afford to buy homes, they were
- 5:13getting pretty good deals.
- 5:17Uh, I happened to be one of those
- 5:19homeowners, the very first home and only home
- 5:21that my wife and I bought.
- 5:24We bought in 2009.
- 5:25It was a great time to buy.
- 5:28And that's what I talk about.
- 5:29I mean, it's this is a time of
- 5:32opportunity.
- 5:34We're living in such a time of opportunity,
- 5:36and so many people don't see it.
- 5:39They're only looking at the gas prices, and
- 5:42they're just absolutely distraught.
- 5:44And unfortunately, a lot of families are living
- 5:47so stretched.
- 5:49They're living so above their means that higher
- 5:52gas prices means that they can't afford to
- 5:55pay their electric bill.
- 5:58It means that they can't afford to pay
- 6:00their gas bill.
- 6:01It means that they can't uh afford a
- 6:03car payment.
- 6:05It means that they can't afford their car
- 6:06insurance.
- 6:08And on and on it goes.
- 6:11And that's just because gas prices went up.
- 6:15Yeah, we should expect these kinds of things.
- 6:17Inflation did rise.
- 6:18The new inflation numbers came out, which strengthened
- 6:20the dollar.
- 6:23The inflation numbers came out that uh it
- 6:27was 3.6% overall, year over year.
- 6:31I mean, that's high.
- 6:34That's very persistent inflation.
- 6:38Month over month it's up, year over year
- 6:39it's up.
- 6:40Now, President Trump, and you know he's full
- 6:42of garbage.
- 6:45Uh, when he's like, oh yeah, the inflation,
- 6:47it's the best it's ever been.
- 6:50No, it's not.
- 6:52You know, there are a lot of times
- 6:54where he's just he's full of it.
- 6:56But this time I think he's really telling
- 6:58the truth.
- 6:59I don't think he's thinking about Americans' personal
- 7:00Think he's thinking about Americans' personal finances.
- 7:02finances.
- 7:06And quite frankly, I hate to put it
- 7:06And quite frankly, I hate to put it
- 7:09this way, but it's not the president's job
- 7:09this way, but it's not the president's job
- 7:11to worry about when he's talking about national
- 7:11to worry about when he's talking about national
- 7:13defense.
- 7:13defense.
- 7:16Now, that's what it was in the context
- 7:16Now, that's what it was in the context
- 7:17of.
- 7:17of.
- 7:19But when a president's thinking about national defense,
- 7:19But when a president's thinking about national defense,
- 7:21they're not thinking about, oh, well, this is
- 7:21they're not thinking about, oh, well, this is
- 7:23going to put a strain on the American
- 7:23going to put a strain on the American
- 7:24people.
- 7:25people, therefore, I'm not going to defend our
- 7:26Therefore, I'm not going to defend our nation.
- 7:27nation.
- 7:29That's
- 7:29That's not how they're thinking.
- 7:32And so I'm not saying it's right, wrong
- 7:34or indifferent.
- 7:36I'm just saying this is his stance.
- 7:38He he said it twice.
- 7:41He doubled down on it.
- 7:44He genuinely does not care about people's personal
- 7:46finances right now.
- 7:50Now, whether he ever did, I don't know.
- 7:53That's not really for me to determine.
- 7:57I know he has done some pretty incredible
- 7:59things, open up some pretty incredible opportunities for
- 8:02Americans.
- 8:05I mean, if you look at the big
- 8:07picture, and sometimes that's hard to do because
- 8:09people they get so focused on the here
- 8:11and the now, and they're not looking for
- 8:13opportunities.
- 8:15What President Trump is doing, he's providing opportunities
- 8:18constantly.
- 8:22He's providing opportunities for you and I.
- 8:24He's providing opportunities for uh for people to
- 8:27find employment.
- 8:30He's providing opportunities for people to invest better.
- 8:34He signed legislation that opens up all kinds
- 8:38of opportunities for people to invest in a
- 8:41wider range of uh of options.
- 8:46You know, he he didn't do that because
- 8:48he could care less.
- 8:51He did that because it's the right thing
- 8:53to do.
- 8:54It's Americans need more opportunity to invest.
- 8:59So if you look at the big picture
- 9:01and look at the context of everything, and
- 9:02I'm not defending him here.
- 9:04I'm not defending him.
- 9:05I actually happen to believe that he believes
- 9:07what he says, that he means it.
- 9:10That right now he he has not taken
- 9:13into consideration, not one little bit how much
- 9:16pain you and I are feeling.
- 9:20He's he's just not.
- 9:23I want to read a little bit of
- 9:25um his statements here in part of this
- 9:26article.
- 9:29Again, he said, not even a little bit.
- 9:32The only thing that matters when I'm talking
- 9:35about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon.
- 9:39I don't think about Americans' financial situation.
- 9:42I don't think about anybody.
- 9:44I think about one thing.
- 9:45We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.
- 9:48That's all.
- 9:51So a reporter followed up on whether he
- 9:53really wasn't thinking about the economic impact of
- 9:55the war.
- 9:59And here's what he said.
- 10:00Here's what the president said.
- 10:02The most important thing by far, including whether
- 10:04our stock market, which by the way, is
- 10:07at an all-time high, but including whether our
- 10:09stock market goes up or down a little,
- 10:12a little bit.
- 10:15The most important thing by far is Iran
- 10:18cannot have a nuclear weapon.
- 10:21He said every American understands.
- 10:24Well, I think that's where he's wrong.
- 10:26I don't think every American understands because clearly
- 10:29Americans are really upset.
- 10:32The majority of Americans are upset with his
- 10:34economic policy.
- 10:37They don't understand that Iran can't have a
- 10:40nuclear weapon.
- 10:45Or at least they don't understand that there's
- 10:47a cost associated with that.
- 10:50And I did look into a little bit
- 10:53the you know, this whole nuclear weapons idea,
- 10:55and I found an excellent article.
- 10:57I mean, it's really long.
- 10:59Uh I'm certainly not going to read it,
- 11:01and it's very technical, but I will post
- 11:03it in the show notes here.
- 11:05You can read it yourself.
- 11:07But it is Congress.gov, and the title of
- 11:11it is Iran and Nuclear Weapons Production.
- 11:16And it's a really good detailed insight into
- 11:19whether they actually have the capability to be
- 11:23able to build nuclear weapons.
- 11:26Now, I'll tell you, because this is a
- 11:28big source of debate, right?
- 11:31A lot of people on the left are
- 11:32saying there's no evidence whatsoever.
- 11:34President Trump's that when we bombed with the
- 11:37bunker busters, we bombed their nuclear facility.
- 11:42That that completely wiped out, supposedly wiped out
- 11:45any capability or any ability for Iran to
- 11:47build nuclear weapons.
- 11:51And then what, months later, not even a
- 11:54year later, he starts a war with Iran.
- 11:59And supposedly it was based on intel from
- 12:02spies that were in the country that they
- 12:05had capability and were possibly planning on building
- 12:07a nuclear weapon.
- 12:11Now, here's what we know.
- 12:14We know that they've not allowed inspectors inside
- 12:18of Iran since we bombed the bunker buster.
- 12:22That the Iran has not had nuclear inspectors
- 12:25on the ground.
- 12:27They do this all the time.
- 12:28They kick the inspectors out, or they disallow,
- 12:30they don't allow the inspectors to come into
- 12:32their country.
- 12:35Everything is super top secret.
- 12:37They have uranium enriched to 60%.
- 12:41I believe it needs to be 90% to
- 12:45be able to reach weapons capability.
- 12:48It's not that hard to do.
- 12:49Iran does have the capability to do it.
- 12:53And there are different estimates for how long
- 12:56they actually could pull this off.
- 13:00And the longest estimate that I saw was
- 13:02one year, up to one year.
- 13:05That's not a lot of time.
- 13:08Now, for somebody to secretly build atomic weapons,
- 13:11and they did just say Iran just released
- 13:14a statement last week.
- 13:18And they said we have so much uranium
- 13:20that's buried underground.
- 13:24Tehran can't even get to it.
- 13:26Now, they've been bluffing a lot.
- 13:30They were saying that, oh, we have plenty
- 13:33of firepower, and uh the U.S.
- 13:35didn't do anything to damage our military, like
- 13:37they said.
- 13:38You know, the state-run media has been working
- 13:40in overtime.
- 13:42So it's really difficult to tell the truth.
- 13:45But what we do know is that they
- 13:47do hate America.
- 13:49We do know for a fact that though
- 13:53they stopped their weapons program for building atomic
- 13:56bombs, they do have 60% enriched uranium that
- 14:00we know of, and that it wouldn't take
- 14:00Have 60% enriched uranium that we know of
- 14:03much.
- 14:03and that it wouldn't take much.
- 14:07It wouldn't take a whole lot.
- 14:07It wouldn't take a whole lot.
- 14:08There were some estimates instead they could build
- 14:08There were some estimates instead they could build
- 14:10an atomic bomb in about a week's time.
- 14:10an atomic bomb in about a week's time.
- 14:14That's frightening.
- 14:14That's frightening.
- 14:17And that would start a world war.
- 14:17And that would start a world war.
- 14:21And it would, it would, I mean, once
- 14:21And it would, it would I mean, once
- 14:24somebody detonates an atomic bomb, it's you're getting
- 14:25somebody detonates an atomic bomb, it's you're getting
- 14:26into
- 14:29into very scary territory.
- 14:34Very scary.
- 14:36And especially if Iran is the one pulling
- 14:39the trigger on that bomb.
- 14:42So this is this is a big deal.
- 14:44It it should be taken very seriously.
- 14:48Now everybody else is, you know, people on
- 14:50the left, they're saying, well, President Trump, he
- 14:52he's he just has no self-control, and he's
- 14:55he's just uh he's coming up with these
- 14:57ideas, and there's no evidence whatsoever that there
- 15:00are any bombs.
- 15:02While technically that's true, there is plenty of
- 15:05evidence according to this article, and it's not
- 15:08a partisan article.
- 15:13They they have the capability.
- 15:16Uh I'll read just the last sentence.
- 15:20John Wolfstall, a National Security Council official during
- 15:24the Obama administration, wrote in February 2022 that
- 15:28the one year breakout goal was meant to
- 15:32provide enough time, quote, to generate an international
- 15:36response to any Iranian move to build weapons.
- 15:41All right, so they they know that they
- 15:44have the capability and that maximum we would
- 15:46have about a year.
- 15:50We would have about a year, and so
- 15:52we would have to respond very quickly within
- 15:54that year window.
- 15:56Well, President Trump determined we don't have that
- 15:58kind of time.
- 16:00You know, based on intelligence, he says we
- 16:02don't have that kind of time.
- 16:04We can't buy time with Iran.
- 16:06We have to put them in their place,
- 16:08and we have to eliminate all their needs.
- 16:10Here's the other thing that we know.
- 16:12We know that they were building a massive
- 16:15stockpile of drones.
- 16:19The uh the cheap kamikaze drones, they had
- 16:23tens of thousands of these things, and what
- 16:26they were doing was they were positioning themselves
- 16:30with the help of China, they were positioning
- 16:33themselves to be able to attack every single
- 16:37neighboring country, just relentlessly.
- 16:42We knew this.
- 16:42President Trump knew this, and we eliminated that
- 16:46threat very quickly, by the way.
- 16:50So very interesting stuff that's happening, but uh,
- 16:52we are coming up on a break.
- 16:54We'll talk about this more after the break.

- 19:13Ronald Reagan shine bright as America approaches 250
- 19:16years.
- 19:22America out loud doc news is that place
- 19:25to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to
- 19:28the all about truth.
- 19:42Uh personal finances.
- 19:49In fact, he doubled down on that and
- 19:50said, not even a little bit.
- 19:55I think he's telling the truth.
- 19:56I think he is not thinking about our
- 19:58personal finances.
- 20:00So what does that mean for us?
- 20:02And that's what I want to talk about.
- 20:04What does that really mean for us?
- 20:06Uh do we need the president to care
- 20:08about our finances?
- 20:10Do we need the president to control gas
- 20:12prices?
- 20:14Do we need the president to control inflation?
- 20:18Well, I can tell you, it's really interesting
- 20:20to me.
- 20:22If you look at who was on Air
- 20:25Force One, who went to China?
- 20:29Who was the delegation from America?
- 20:33This should tell us everything that we need
- 20:35to know.
- 20:38We had Elon Musk.
- 20:41That's right.
- 20:42He was on Air Force One.
- 20:45He went to China.
- 20:47Jensen Hang from Nav NVIDIA.
- 20:52Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, Larry Fink,
- 20:58the CEO of BlackRock, Steven Schwartzman, CEO of

- 21:10Qualcomm.
- 21:12Christiano Ahman, CEO of Qualcomm.
- 21:17We had the CEO of Micron Technology, CEO

- 21:48This was his delegation.
- 21:53Now that ought to tell us every single
- 21:55thing that we need to know.
- 21:59That he's not there to bring politicians to
- 22:03to kind of rub elbows with uh with
- 22:06the Chinese delegation.
- 22:11They're there to strike deals.
- 22:15They're there to negotiate with China.
- 22:19And by the way, uh, really fascinating.
- 22:22I I think it's really interesting.
- 22:26These people, I don't think care about your
- 22:28personal finances.
- 22:31They care about building their business, allowing their
- 22:34business to grow.
- 22:37I forget what NVIDIA's worth.
- 22:40Uh it's in the trillions, like five, five
- 22:43or six trillion dollars.
- 22:47I mean, this is this is wild.
- 22:50Absolutely wild to me.
- 22:51So, yeah, we need to look at these
- 22:52things.
- 22:54What is President Trump positioning himself and America
- 22:56for?
- 23:00He's positioning our economy to become a superpower
- 23:03in the world.
- 23:06And so, what does that mean for you
- 23:08and I?
- 23:09If we look at the bigger picture, again,
- 23:11everybody's waiting for gas prices to come down.
- 23:14That's their focus.
- 23:14Gas prices, gas prices.
- 23:16We need gas prices to come down.
- 23:18We're feeling pain at the pump.
- 23:20It's 70% disapproval rate of President Trump.
- 23:24Meanwhile, President Trump, he's like, Yeah, literally, right
- 23:27before all of these people that I just
- 23:30mentioned boarded Air Force One, President Trump was
- 23:34being interviewed, and he said, Yeah, I'm not
- 23:37really taking into consideration Americans uh financials, uh,
- 23:40not one little bit.
- 23:45What really matters is that Iran doesn't have
- 23:47a nuclear weapon.
- 23:49All right, well, at the same time, what
- 23:52he is focusing on is striking a deal,
- 23:54and he talks economy all the time, economy,
- 23:57economy, economy.
- 24:00He's looking at the big picture.
- 24:03He's looking at the big picture, he's looking
- 24:04long term.
- 24:06If if America really does strike a good
- 24:09deal with China, which those two things, I'm
- 24:11really uh kind of barfing in my mouth
- 24:14a little bit with those two things being
- 24:17in the same sentence.
- 24:20But if we strike a good deal with
- 24:23China, you're gonna see the economy really, really,
- 24:27really strengthen.
- 24:30And it's already very strong, it's already doing
- 24:32quite well.
- 24:34And China, quite frankly, needs the United States
- 24:36of America.
- 24:39The war in Iran, I think was more
- 24:42strategic than just weapons.
- 24:44I think that President Trump did that strategically
- 24:47to position China to kind of be in
- 24:49our back pocket.
- 24:52President Trump is the one who's calling the
- 24:55strings here, and not the other way around.
- 24:59And so again, what does that mean for
- 25:00you and I?
- 25:02Because at the end of the day, that's
- 25:03what's important.
- 25:04We have to worry about ourselves.
- 25:06President Trump is not concerned about your personal
- 25:08finances.
- 25:11That's crystal clear.
- 25:15So you need to be worried about your
- 25:17personal finances.
- 25:20Now it's interesting looking at looking at the
- 25:22data here.
- 25:25Americans are they're just not getting the bigger
- 25:27picture.
- 25:30This is this is an article here.
- 25:32Nearly half of American households have no retirement
- 25:35savings.
- 25:39People are living well above their means.
- 25:43We have uh car car loan debt hit
- 25:45an all-time high.
- 25:49Just what last month hit an all-time high.
- 25:53It's never been so high.
- 25:541.6 trillion dollars or 1.68, something like that,
- 25:59just in car loans, car loan debt.
- 26:04Half of American households have no savings in
- 26:07their retirement accounts, according to the Federal Reserve
- 26:10Survey of Consumer Finances.
- 26:14Those include employer-sponsored accounts, 401ks, 403Bs, thrift savings
- 26:18accounts, and pensions.
- 26:24Personal saving has grown more important as employees
- 26:27have shifted away from defined benefits plans or
- 26:30pensions, putting more of the responsibility on workers
- 26:33to plan for retirement.
- 26:36Now, I look at this as great news.
- 26:39I look at this as I want to
- 26:40be in control.
- 26:43I look at how many people had pensions,
- 26:46and they got absolutely screwed over.
- 26:48Look at what GM did to people.
- 26:51They had these pensions and people worked, they
- 26:54did everything right, and then all of a
- 26:57sudden, the pensions, oh, nope, we filed for
- 27:01bankruptcy, and pensions are no longer available.
- 27:04Literally gone.
- 27:06I don't want a company in charge of
- 27:08my finances.
- 27:11I want to have control.
- 27:14I want to determine what I invest in,
- 27:16when I pull my money out, who I
- 27:18give my money to.
- 27:21I want to have control of that.
- 27:24So I think this is a really good
- 27:25thing.
- 27:26But people have to be responsible.
- 27:31They have to look for opportunity.
- 27:34They have to invest, they have to be
- 27:36disciplined.
- 27:39I was just looking at my children's investments,
- 27:43and they're doing quite well.
- 27:49Yeah, and and I show my kids this.
- 27:51And I'm like, you guys have to be
- 27:53disciplined.
- 27:55When you get paid, whether it's allowance or
- 27:59whatever it is, we don't do allowance.
- 28:01We don't do allowance.
- 28:03We we pay for doing chores, certain chores.
- 28:03We we pay for doing chores, certain chores.
- 28:09Obviously, like doing dishes and things like that.
- 28:09Obviously, like doing dishes and things like that.
- 28:12We we don't, but we give them, we
- 28:12We we don't, but we give them, we
- 28:15give them money for doing certain chores with
- 28:15give them money for doing certain chores with
- 28:18the understanding that they invest 50%.
- 28:18the understanding that they invest 50%.
- 28:22That's the rule.
- 28:22That's the rule.
- 28:24They can invest it in whatever they want
- 28:24They can invest it in whatever they want
- 28:25to invest it in.
- 28:25to invest it in, they get to choose,
- 28:26They get to choose, they get to decide.
- 28:27they get to decide.
- 28:30But the rule is we will pay you
- 28:31as long as you put 50% of that
- 28:33away.
- 28:35You invest it.
- 28:36The rest of the fifth of the other
- 28:3750%, you can do whatever you want with
- 28:39it.
- 28:42And they're watching the dollar signs come in.
- 28:48And they don't get excited about it.
- 28:50We don't make a big deal about it.
- 28:51Like we don't put this emotional attachment to
- 28:53money.
- 28:56We don't teach our kids to chase money.
- 28:59We don't teach our kids to fall in
- 29:00love with money.
- 29:01We don't teach our kids that you got
- 29:03to chase the next big paycheck.
- 29:06What we teach them is that discipline pays
- 29:07off.
- 29:10That if you put your money to work,
- 29:12there are always opportunities out there.
- 29:14No matter what the market's doing, no matter
- 29:17what the economy is doing, no matter what
- 29:20fuel prices are, it does not matter.
- 29:23That should not affect your day-to-day life to
- 29:27the best of your ability.
- 29:31Now I know there are exceptions to every
- 29:33rule, but generally, we're not teaching this kind
- 29:35of stuff.
- 29:38We're not parents aren't teaching this.
- 29:40And I know that because I'm looking at
- 29:41the numbers here.
- 29:43That half of Americans have nothing for retirement.
- 29:49Zero.
- 29:58Wait till you listen to these numbers.
- 30:02There's a cool little chart here that I'm
- 30:03playing around with.
- 30:06But it says show the percentage of households
- 30:09that saved more than, and then you get
- 30:12to select on the little slider here.
- 30:15You select a dollar amount.
- 30:17So I have zero, zero dollars selected.
- 30:21People aged 30 to 34, 58% of people
- 30:25have zero.
- 30:44Have zero, have nothing.
- 30:47Then we go get into age 70 to
- 30:4874.
- 30:50You know, the time of life where you
- 30:52really need your retirement money.
- 30:5449% have zero, have nothing.
- 30:59All right, then we'll go up to, I'm
- 31:01just going to skip to 10K.
- 31:03$10,000, not that much money.
- 31:10Have saved a little bit more than 10K.
- 31:15Uh age 30, let's see, 35 to 39,
- 31:2047% have 10,000 roughly.
- 31:25Uh this is this is wild to me.
- 31:28This is absolutely wild to me.
- 31:32So I I run these numbers all the
- 31:34time.
- 31:35I talk about these numbers all the time.
- 31:37We've got to do better, America.
- 31:40We've got to do better.
- 31:42President Trump is literally telling us, I'm not
- 31:44here to coddle you.
- 31:47I'm not here.
- 31:48I'm not the president.
- 31:50I'm not there.
- 31:51You did not make me the president to
- 31:53sit here and wring my hands about how
- 31:56your personal finances are doing.
- 32:00I believe that's what he's saying.
- 32:02It's not his job to coddle us and
- 32:05to be concerned about our personal finances.
- 32:08At the same time, literally within minutes of
- 32:11that or hours, he loaded up all of
- 32:14these CEOs of some of the world's biggest
- 32:16companies, some of the richest, wealthiest people on
- 32:19planet Earth.
- 32:22He brought them to China as his delegation
- 32:24because he's making deals to get the economy
- 32:27moving.
- 32:29What does that mean for us?
- 32:31That means there is ample opportunity.
- 32:34Ample opportunity.
- 32:35There's ample opportunity to do well.
- 32:38There's ample opportunity.
- 32:39If if you don't want to start a
- 32:41business, which personally, I just I don't have
- 32:43any interest in that.
- 32:45My daughter is doing it.
- 32:47My daughter is starting a business.
- 32:48She's 16 years old, she's young.
- 32:50That's the time to do it.
- 32:52I don't have an interest at my age
- 32:54in starting a business.
- 32:55So what do I do?
- 32:57I buy pieces of other businesses in the
- 33:00form of investments.
- 33:04I have no problem doing that.
- 33:06I enjoy doing that.
- 33:07I like doing my research.
- 33:10So there is plenty of opportunity here.
- 33:14But we've got to live within our means.
- 33:16And Mike Rowe, by the way, he's been
- 33:19saying this for the longest time.
- 33:21This is a recent article.
- 33:22This is Yahoo News, April 1st.
- 33:25Very recent article.
- 33:27You know, all these data centers are going
- 33:29up.
- 33:31People are wringing their hands about that.
- 33:32Oh my goodness, it's it's terrible, it's awful.
- 33:36This is just gonna it's gonna hurt communities
- 33:38and this and that.
- 33:40And people can debate about the health concerns
- 33:41and all that.
- 33:43I think that's valid.
- 33:44That's fair.
- 33:46But here's the opportunity.
- 33:48And how many people are taking advantage of
- 33:50this while we complain about President Trump and
- 33:52gas prices.
- 33:54Mike Rowe says data center electricians earning 260,000
- 33:58are getting poached like pro athletes without college
- 34:02degrees.
- 34:08260,000 income, and they're scooping these kids up
- 34:12right out of high school.
- 34:17They're actually being sought out like pro-athletes.
- 34:21They're being scouted.
- 34:24For years, kids have been encouraged to get
- 34:26a college education.
- 34:27Learning a trade, on the other hand, was
- 34:31often viewed as a vocational consolation prize.
- 34:35Mike Rowe, best known for hosting TV show
- 34:38Dirty Jobs, said during BlackRock's 2026 infrastructure summit
- 34:42on March 1st.
- 34:47But that's changing.
- 34:48With a trades experiencing something of a renaissance.
- 34:58As has student loan debt.
- 35:01Then this article talks about debt and all
- 35:01Then this article talks about debt and all
- 35:03that stuff.
- 35:03that stuff.
- 35:05People are racking up all this debt and
- 35:05People are racking up all this debt and
- 35:06they didn't and they're learning how to how
- 35:06they and they're learning how to how to
- 35:08to study dance.
- 35:08study dance.
- 35:10You know, like they're getting these useless degrees.
- 35:10You know, like they're getting these useless degrees.

- 35:29age of 30.
- 35:32While they had no student debt, the most
- 35:35consequential component of that meeting was the fact
- 35:38that all three of them had been poached
- 35:41three times in the prior 18 months.
- 35:44Roe said.
- 35:50I mean, they are beating doors down to
- 35:53get these kids to get them to learn
- 35:57the trades, and they're paying them handsomely.
- 36:02There are plenty, plenty, plenty of jobs available.
- 36:05There are opportunities.
- 36:07I'm telling you, we are living in we're
- 36:09living in a time of opportunity, I think
- 36:12like we've never seen before.
- 36:15There is opportunity all around us.
- 36:17If people want to work actual trades jobs,
- 36:21that's where the money is.
- 36:24I was just talking to a very good
- 36:27friend of mine who retired very early.
- 36:31He was the president of a very big
- 36:32business.
- 36:34He knows businesses really, really well.
- 36:38And he said, you know, it's really interesting.
- 36:42He said there are all these trades jobs,
- 36:44and nobody wants to go into them.
- 36:47He's like, if people knew the opportunity that
- 36:49was right in front of their face, he
- 36:51said it'd be a wake-up call like they've
- 36:52never seen before.
- 36:54He's like, there's so much money to be
- 36:57made, and people don't even realize it.
- 37:0170% of Americans disapprove of the way President
- 37:03Trump is handling the economy because of gas
- 37:06prices.
- 37:08That's the number one driver for people's views
- 37:12on how President Trump is handling the economy.
- 37:16Really interesting, folks.
- 37:17Um, man, there's so much opportunity.
- 37:20I wish people would get this.
- 37:21I really do.
- 37:23We're coming up on another break here.

- 38:53President Trump, right before he left for China
- 38:56said, I do not, I am not thinking
- 38:58about Americans' personal finances.
- 39:02Not even one bit.
- 39:03Not a little bit.
- 39:05He doubled down on this statement.
- 39:07I don't think about Americans' financial situation in
- 39:10Iran negotiations.
- 39:14That's his stance.
- 39:21Well, not right as in uh correct and
- 39:23not thinking about it.
- 39:26But he's right in the fact that he's
- 39:28being truthful.
- 39:30And I don't think that it's the president's
- 39:33job to meddle in people's personal finances.
- 39:38And there is a cost to the war.
- 39:40And President Trump knew that going into the
- 39:41war.
- 39:43He knew that was going to drive up
- 39:44gas prices.
- 39:47He also said when the war ends, now
- 39:49when is uh the big question?
- 39:51It's a question of the century.
- 39:54If you want my personal opinion for what
- 39:55it's worth, I think it's going to drag
- 39:57out for a long time.
- 39:59It's going to be a back and forth.
- 40:01Well, the war, the war is done.
- 40:03You know, we've already seen it.
- 40:04President Trump, the war's done.
- 40:05We are, we're we struck a deal.
- 40:08And then the Iranians come back and they're
- 40:11like, we never said we struck a deal.
- 40:14And it's going to be this back and
- 40:15forth, the war is done.
- 40:16No, it's not.
- 40:17We're done.
- 40:18No, it's not.
- 40:18We're done.
- 40:19No, it's not.
- 40:19We're going to see this, I think, for
- 40:21quite a while.
- 40:22I think there's going to be people may
- 40:24as well hunker down.
- 40:26I think there's going to be high fuel
- 40:28prices for quite a while.
- 40:31And it's unfortunate because it does create inflation.
- 40:36There's no doubt about it.
- 40:38Not even a little bit of a question
- 40:39about it.
- 40:40This is driving inflation.
- 40:44Uh I think it's it's difficult generally on
- 40:47the economy.
- 40:50It is challenging for all of us.
- 40:53We have to adjust to the high gas
- 40:54prices.
- 40:57People who drive big vehicles, farmers, farmers are
- 40:59getting hit really hard.
- 41:02I've talked about that recently.
- 41:04Yeah, there's no question that it's it's hurting
- 41:06Americans.
- 41:10It's affecting Americans.
- 41:13So we we have to be aware of
- 41:14that.
- 41:15We have to be sensitive to that.
- 41:16But President Trump is saying, well, it's not
- 41:18really not really what I'm thinking about right
- 41:19now.
- 41:21I'm thinking about we've got to shut down
- 41:22Iran.
- 41:24We can't allow them to have nuclear weapons.
- 41:28So at the same time, the question is,
- 41:30well, what do we do?
- 41:31How do we manage?
- 41:32How do we move forward in a world
- 41:34where inflation is what it is?
- 41:37Inflation is super high.
- 41:41Or moderately high, I should say.
- 41:44How do we move forward?
- 41:45What do we do?
- 41:48Do we wring our hands?
- 41:50Do we skip payments?
- 41:51Do we uh what do we do?
- 41:55Well, I think the solution is in finding
- 41:58opportunities and living within our means.
- 42:00Within our means.
- 42:01I can not ever overemphasize or overstate the
- 42:01I can not ever overemphasize or overstate the
- 42:05importance of living within our means.
- 42:05importance of living within our means.
- 42:10And that's just that it's a philosophy that
- 42:10And that's just that it's a philosophy that
- 42:12I've adhered to my entire life.
- 42:12I've adhered to my entire life.
- 42:15And I I've read so many books from
- 42:15And I I've read so many books from
- 42:18so many financial experts that all say the
- 42:18so many financial experts that all say the
- 42:21same thing.
- 42:21same thing.
- 42:24You've got to live within your means.
- 42:24You've got to live within your means.
- 42:26If you overspend, if you overextend yourself, if
- 42:26If you overspend, if you overextend yourself, if
- 42:28you over.
- 42:29you over-leverage, you're going to get burned.
- 42:33And millions of Americans right now are getting
- 42:35burned.
- 42:37It's there, there are a lot of Americans
- 42:40who are way, way, way, way, way over
- 42:43leveraged on their houses, on their cars, on
- 42:46their phones, even their cell phones.
- 42:49They're paying like $1,500 for a cell phone.
- 42:52And I'm like, what in the world?
- 42:53It's literally just a phone.
- 42:57Well, I got to have the best.
- 42:58I got to have the newest.
- 42:59I have to have, you know, all the
- 43:01bells and whistles.
- 43:02No, you don't.
- 43:03Vacations, people maxing out credit cards on their
- 43:05vacations.
- 43:08Meanwhile, the CEO of Visa and MasterCard, they're
- 43:11in China.
- 43:14They went to China with President Trump.
- 43:16They rode on Air Force One.
- 43:20So Americans need to wise up a little
- 43:22bit and realize we've got to live within
- 43:24our means.
- 43:26Because anything can happen at any time.
- 43:29And we need to be prepared for it.
- 43:30We need to be financially prepared for it.
- 43:32We need to be prepared for emergencies.
- 43:34We need to have an emergency fund.
- 43:37They recommend at least three to six months'
- 43:38worth of pay.
- 43:40If you lost your job or got hurt
- 43:42or whatever it was, could you could you
- 43:44live comfortably for the next three to six
- 43:46months?
- 43:50Most Americans have no emergency fund whatsoever.
- 43:55They couldn't even scrape together together a thousand
- 43:58dollars if an emergency came up.
- 44:02A thousand dollars is nothing now.
- 44:05So easy.
- 44:06You can rack that up in gas over
- 44:09the course of a couple months.
- 44:13The way gas prices are thousand dollars is
- 44:15nothing.
- 44:18So we we've got to get control.
- 44:20We've got to get control of our finances.
- 44:23We've got to get control of our debt.
- 44:24We've got to live within our means.
- 44:27But we also need to look for opportunity.
- 44:30And there is plenty, plenty, plenty of opportunity
- 44:32out there.
- 44:35And again, Mike Rowe, he's talking about the
- 44:37trades and talking about how electricians, that's just
- 44:40one example.
- 44:43But data center electricians are earning 260,000 a
- 44:46year.
- 44:48And these these recruiters are hunting these people
- 44:50down.
- 44:53They're poaching them.
- 44:54And they're young, the young people.
- 44:58They've never gone to college, they don't have
- 44:59any debt.
- 45:01They're starting off making 260k a year.
- 45:05That's incredible.
- 45:06Do you realize the kind of opportunity?
- 45:10And it's not just this job, it's there
- 45:11are millions of jobs out there.
- 45:13I want to play for you a little
- 45:14bit of a clip.
- 45:16This is a clip of Mike Rowe, and
- 45:18he's talking about this very thing.
- 45:20Listen to what he says.
- 45:33Meanwhile, we have 7.6 million open jobs according
- 45:36to the BLS.
- 45:38Two-thirds of which don't require a four-year degree,
- 45:41and many of which offer a six-figure salary.
- 45:44Now, in a perfect world, we'd connect those
- 45:467.2 million men currently sitting on their ass
- 45:48with these 7.6 million open positions, but the
- 45:50world isn't perfect.
- 45:53So what we do at MicroWorks instead is
- 45:55offer work ethics scholarships to men and women
- 45:57who want to work.
- 45:59Specifically men and women who want to learn
- 46:01a skill that's in demand.
- 46:03If that sounds like you, go get some.
- 46:07Interesting.
- 46:097.6 million jobs that are open right now.
- 46:14They're vacant.
- 46:16Those are walk-in ready jobs.
- 46:19Two-thirds of which don't require a college education.
- 46:25And yet, people drives me crazy.
- 46:28They complain about, oh well, there's nothing out
- 46:30there.
- 46:31There are no jobs.
- 46:32I can't find work anywhere.
- 46:34Have you looked?
- 46:39These are not phantom jobs.
- 46:41These are not mystery jobs that you have
- 46:44to look under rocks and and uh you
- 46:47know come up with a treasure map and
- 46:49figure out where they're at.
- 46:52They're out there, they're available.
- 46:55There are literally people hunting people down, looking
- 46:59for people to work in these positions.
- 47:04I know in my own town, it's really
- 47:05interesting.
- 47:06We have such a shortage of dentists.
- 47:10We have a major shortage of dentists.
- 47:14There are headhunter agencies that they they literally
- 47:18hire headhunters to find dentists, and we still
- 47:23can't find any.
- 47:34Anybody, anybody with a pulse, I think, would
- 47:38probably fit right in.
- 47:42They'd be like, yep, join, join.
- 47:44I mean, that's how desperate they are.
- 47:46They cannot find dentists, doctors, nurses, same thing.
- 47:54They're desperate.
- 47:56Electricians, plumbers, butchers, the list goes on and
- 48:00on and on.
- 48:04We are absolutely desperate, desperate to find people.
- 48:11And we can't do it.
- 48:14These jobs have vacancies like you wouldn't believe.
- 48:17That's just in my area.
- 48:19I know for 100% fact that this is
- 48:21the case, and this is being replicated all
- 48:23across America.
- 48:27And yet people are complaining because the gas
- 48:29price jumped up $2 a gallon.
- 48:34And I'm I'm telling you, if we really
- 48:38understood the opportunity that's out there, and that's
- 48:41just employment, the opportunity to invest is unlimited.
- 48:46There are so many different ways to invest.
- 48:49And I think that's what makes this country
- 48:51so great.
- 48:52Again, that's the uniqueness of America.
- 48:56Name another country where there are literally 7.6
- 48:59million jobs just waiting for people to walk
- 49:007.6 million jobs just waiting for people to
- 49:01into.
- 49:02walk into.
- 49:04And at the same time, you have over
- 49:04And at the same time, you have over
- 49:067 million able bodied men who are parked
- 49:077 million able bodied men who are parked
- 49:09who are not working.
- 49:09who are not working.
- 49:12You make that make sense for me.
- 49:12You make that make sense for me.
- 49:15What other country do you have people who
- 49:15What other country do you have people who
- 49:17turn their noses up at jobs?
- 49:17turn their noses up at jobs?
- 49:20They'd rather stay at home and complain about
- 49:20They'd rather stay at home and complain about
- 49:22the the price of things and how the
- 49:22the price of things and how the government's
- 49:24government's not doing anything and the government's not
- 49:24not doing anything and the government's not really
- 49:27really helping me out.
- 49:27helping me out.
- 49:30In what other country do you have that
- 49:32kind of opportunity?
- 49:34Where they're literally begging people.
- 49:38They're begging people to work these jobs.
- 49:41And people are sitting home, an equal number
- 49:43of people are sitting at home saying, eh,
- 49:45no thanks.
- 49:48Not really anything out there.
- 49:50You know, to be able to have that
- 49:51kind of freedom, it's it is it is
- 49:53wild.
- 49:55We should never take that for granted.
- 49:58That this is our economy.
- 49:59And President Trump, I happen to agree with
- 50:01him.
- 50:05In the fact that it's not his primary
- 50:07concern.
- 50:08Maybe he could have worded that a little
- 50:10bit more eloquently.
- 50:13But man, it's not the president's job to
- 50:16worry about Jimmy Hinton and whether he's making
- 50:19his house payments or not.
- 50:23Or whatever it is.
- 50:25It's up to you and I.
- 50:50If you talk to any successful person in
- 50:52any field whatsoever, they'll all tell you the
- 50:54same thing.
- 50:56Failure was part of the plan.
- 50:59We learn to fail and to pick ourselves
- 51:01back up and to dust ourselves off and
- 51:03to try again.
- 51:06Most people, most entrepreneurs who own businesses have
- 51:11failed multiple times, many times.
- 51:16And they've they've collected themselves and dusted themselves
- 51:20off, tried something different, tried a different avenue.
- 51:24Some people have tried a different profession altogether.
- 51:29Where in the world, where else do you
- 51:31have that kind of freedom?
- 51:33You want to try that in China?
- 51:35You want to move to Russia and try
- 51:37that out.
- 51:39You want to move to Cuba, give that
- 51:41a whirl.
- 51:45You want to move to Canada, even.
- 51:54But not like America.
- 51:56There's not the kind of economic freedom and
- 51:59availability for the types of jobs and the
- 52:02and the pay for the jobs that we
- 52:05have right here in this great nation.
- 52:09And so as we celebrate our 250 years,
- 52:12I think we really need to celebrate the
- 52:15fact that there's so much opportunity.
- 52:18This is the year of opportunity.
- 52:21And it's not like it's only going to
- 52:22be this year.
- 52:23I think for the foreseeable future, that door
- 52:26has been kicked wide open.
- 52:29And we can either sit around and complain,
- 52:32talk about how bad things are and how
- 52:35high gas prices are, or we can find
- 52:37opportunities.
- 52:41Opportunities to invest, opportunities to grow, opportunities to
- 52:45expand, opportunities to learn new trades.
- 52:52Yeah, if I wasn't the agent I'm at,
- 52:54and if I didn't like my job in
- 52:56a heartbeat, I'd go out, I'd learn to
- 52:58be an electrician.
- 53:02I have a basic knowledge, but I'd I'd
- 53:04go to a trade school, I'd learn to
- 53:06be an electrician, and I'd start hammering out
- 53:08some of these.
- 53:11Yeah, I'd I'd settle for 260 grand a
- 53:12year.
- 53:15Heck yeah.
- 53:16Sign me up.
- 53:19But I'm at a place in life where
- 53:20I don't need it.
- 53:22I don't need that kind of income.
- 53:23I don't uh I don't want to move
- 53:25around.
- 53:26I I like being at home with my
- 53:27family.
- 53:28I I like being local, I like working
- 53:30with the church.
- 53:32I I'm perfectly happy.
- 53:34But for people who are stuck, what I'm
- 53:36saying is there is a way out.
- 53:37There's always a way out.
- 53:39There's always a way to expand and to
- 53:42grow and to mature and uh to become
- 53:45financially stable, to learn to budget.
- 53:48If if if budgeting's not your thing, there
- 53:51are so many tools out there.
- 53:53So many tools at your fingertips.
- 53:56Free, all free, 100% free.
- 54:01There's no excuse, not in this great nation.
- 54:06There's no excuse if you're healthy and you're
- 54:08able to work, there's no excuse to say
- 54:10that you're stuck and that there's nothing out
- 54:12there.
- 54:15I love that we have this kind of
- 54:17opportunity, and I think I really do.
- 54:19I think that great things are going to
- 54:21come out of this trip from China.
- 54:23I think a lot of doors are going
- 54:25to open up.
- 54:27Clearly, people who own these companies and are
- 54:30the CEOs of some of the wealthiest companies,
- 54:33clearly they believe in the vision.
- 54:37Or they would have never gone on that
- 54:40plane with President Trump.
- 54:42You know, it's really interesting.
- 54:44I'll bet you, I'll bet you there's a
- 54:46good mix of Democrats and Republicans who are
- 54:48on that airplane.
- 54:51You can't tell me that all the CEOs
- 54:53of all the top companies are all Republicans
- 54:56and they're all MAGA.
- 55:00Not a chance.
- 55:03And so this is an opportunity that they
- 55:05see.
- 55:07They don't care about politics.
- 55:08They don't care about whether you're a Democrat
- 55:10or Republican.
- 55:13They saw this as an opportunity, and they
- 55:15know that the companies that are big are
- 55:17going to get bigger.
- 55:20President Trump is wheeling and dealing as we
- 55:23speak.
- 55:25He's always wheeling and dealing.
- 55:27But he's wheeling and dealing.
- 55:29And he's thinking about the economy generally.
- 55:32It's up to us individually to step into
- 55:35that opportunity and to take advantage of it.
- 55:38And I promise, when you do that, it
- 55:39really is.
- 55:41I can't express to you how free you
- 55:44feel when you're debt-free, when when you're growing
- 55:47wealth, you don't have to have this massive,
- 55:50you don't have to make 260 grand a
- 55:54year to be able to do that.
- 55:58We all have the opportunity.
- 55:59We just have to live within our means.
- 56:00We just have to live within our means.
- 56:02We have to look for those opportunities and
- 56:02We have to look for those opportunities and
- 56:04take them.
- 56:04take them.
- 56:06Thank God that we live in an nation
- 56:06Thank God that we live in an nation
- 56:09where those opportunities abound.
