- 0:01We are having an unbelievable good time in the precious metals
- 0:05markets right now. We're going to look at about 12
- 0:08reasons why it's happening now, but also why it will continue to
- 0:14happen. First, thank you for being here.
- 0:16Thank you for choosing to join me here in the basement.
- 0:18I hope you feel like you found a home away from home where we
- 0:21love to talk about the precious metals, crypto, all kinds of fun
- 0:25stuff. But please subscribe to the
- 0:27channel, give the video a thumbs up.
- 0:28I want you to come back. Let's start by taking a look at
- 0:32the silver price. But we're also going to talk
- 0:34about big news out of Goldman Sachs, big news out of El
- 0:38Salvador, and even bigger news, probably the biggest news story
- 0:43that will impact the precious metals here in the coming 5 to
- 0:4610 years that nobody else is talking about.
- 0:49And it's coming from the crypto sector, but it's good for
- 0:53physical silver, physical gold. I'll explain it to you as we
- 0:57move on through through the video.
- 1:01Easy for me to say. Let's check out the silver price
- 1:04and if this doesn't put a smile on your face, I don't know what
- 1:08will. Guys, silver continues to to to
- 1:11do well here in the spot market. We are hovering right around
- 1:15$41.00 per oz. But what I wanted to show you is
- 1:20something that'll make you even happier.
- 1:22If we go back six months, look at how beautiful that chart is,
- 1:26OK? If we go back one whole year for
- 1:29silver, look at how beautiful that chart is.
- 1:31What we're seeing on all these charts is a steady, consistent
- 1:37upward movement. Look, this started back what at
- 1:41the beginning of the year around $28.00 per oz for silver and
- 1:45many of you remember back when silver was 20, even as low as
- 1:49$15 per oz, we predicted this would happen.
- 1:53I feel more confident than ever that this will continue to
- 1:56happen as we move into the coming months, quarters and
- 1:59years. Let's see if we can get a read
- 2:01on the gold price from Kitco. You can bear with me here as I
- 2:07struggle through and come on bid, ask KGX.
- 2:13What is that? Silver.
- 2:14Platinum. Why can't we find the gold price
- 2:17here? Uh oh.
- 2:19Oh, no. Let's go back to the main Kitco
- 2:21site and well, let's just search.
- 2:26What the heck, we got time, right?
- 2:28We love hanging out in the basement.
- 2:31Well, you know where else we can now we can't.
- 2:33Hold on here, guys. Search.
- 2:36OK, Gold price. Oh, boy.
- 2:43Let's see what comes up here. Gold isn't out of the woods yet.
- 2:48You know what we'll do? Hold on, basement dwellers.
- 2:50We won't give up. We never give up.
- 2:52Gold price quote. We'll go out to Google.
- 2:57Old, old handy Dan. Not we're not going there.
- 3:00We'll go. Here we go, Kitco.
- 3:02All right, let's see what gold's doing.
- 3:05Wow, wow, up almost $50 per oz Unbelievable.
- 3:11What a day. And like I said, guys, we got a
- 3:12lot of big news stories. I'm letting everybody fill up in
- 3:15the room. Thank you to everybody who's
- 3:17here. Please don't forget, share this.
- 3:19I already begged you to subscribe, but let's look at the
- 3:22one year chart of gold, man Unbelievable.
- 3:26Again, we just see a steady, consistent up uptick in the
- 3:30price, both gold and silver, something very critical.
- 3:34The reason why that steady upward move is so important is
- 3:39that spikes are great. We love fireworks, we love
- 3:43rocket ships. We love when you know when the
- 3:45price of anything, it's exciting, it's fun.
- 3:47But you know what happens inevitably when something spikes
- 3:51up, which is not what we're dealing with right now.
- 3:54What happens when something spikes up is the law of gravity
- 3:58kicks in and it goes right back down.
- 4:00The reason why that gradual move up in both the silver and the
- 4:04gold price are so important is that gave time.
- 4:08As it moved up, came back, went higher, came back, went up, came
- 4:12back, that gave time for the weaklings, right, the Chicken
- 4:17Littles, right, the sheeple to get out to be replaced by people
- 4:23who really believe in the long term story for the price of gold
- 4:27and silver. And here's just a couple
- 4:28reasons. We're going to fly through,
- 4:30guys. We got stuff from everywhere
- 4:32that we can be excited about. We're going to go through it all
- 4:35right now let's start with the big news story that came out
- 4:39just recently. Here we go, Here we go from
- 4:44Spencer. The dollar has lost 50%.
- 4:49Are we up on the right screen? There we go.
- 4:51Yes, the dollar has lost 50% of its value versus gold in the
- 4:56past three years. What is that accurate?
- 5:05The dollar lost half of its value versus gold in the past
- 5:09three years. Understand where we are.
- 5:11You now live in a third world country.
- 5:15OK, and here's the chart proving it. the US dollar versus gold.
- 5:19Wow, man ratio, as you can see, down easily by 50%.
- 5:27But wait a minute guys, there's something coming, OK?
- 5:31There's something big coming because the, the, the hold on
- 5:35the sheep pole. It's hard for me to make my
- 5:39sheep noise today. Well, anyway, they haven't
- 5:41really come into silver and gold yet.
- 5:43And I've got a chart right now that's going to prove it to you,
- 5:46which tells us when these people come back, guys, when the, when
- 5:50the, when the, when the ordinary, when the Costco and
- 5:53we're going to talk about Costco later.
- 5:54People come back into the metals.
- 5:56It will be a flood of new money, right?
- 6:00Remember, Remember something very important.
- 6:03If you're invested in gold, gold and silver now, you are early.
- 6:07If you invested in gold and silver, if you've been down here
- 6:10in the basement with me for the last three years and you bought
- 6:13precious metals or you bought precious metal mining stocks.
- 6:17We were living in a ghost town. Sorry, having some technical
- 6:22issues today. I apologize upstairs, Susie,
- 6:25she's out and about so I don't have my trusty right hand woman
- 6:29who I love dearly. But nonetheless, we were in a
- 6:32ghost town. OK, it really was.
- 6:34But there's a big there's a reason why that's so good,
- 6:38that's so important, right? Because we were such a small
- 6:41number. Rick Rule talks about it
- 6:44whatever .5 percent, 1% what however you want to quantify it
- 6:49of the world's financial assets, a slither being being invested
- 6:54into the precious metals that such low number, right?
- 6:57The benefit to that it's called the law of small numbers.
- 7:00It's much easier to have a massive increase on a small
- 7:05number like 1 or 1%. When it goes to 3%, that's a
- 7:11300% increase. 5%, that's a 500% increase.
- 7:15And I want to show you something that absolutely and this is with
- 7:19gold, right? And you know, silver, it's even
- 7:22more extreme, but take a look at this chart, which actually came
- 7:28from zero Hedge, which undoubtedly shows us it says
- 7:33think the move and gold is notable.
- 7:36Just wait until the ETFs start chasing.
- 7:39This is incredible, OK, The blue line is the Spot gold price.
- 7:45Let me draw on here for you. That would be this line, OK, The
- 7:50black line, that line are the Spot gold ETF holdings, OK.
- 7:56Do you see right throughout throughout history, those two
- 8:00really typically remain the same.
- 8:03But as you can see as the gold price shot up, we have yet to
- 8:07see the ETF holding shoot up. We have a massive opportunity
- 8:13these two lines will come together at some point.
- 8:16But if that black line moves up towards that blue line, these
- 8:20are the number of Oz right within those ETFs, it could be,
- 8:25it could be absolutely shocking. OK, let's move on.
- 8:28Goldman Sachs talks about $5000 gold.
- 8:32Let's let's pull up that article from Bloomberg.
- 8:36Goldman Sachs says gold near 5000.
- 8:39Think about what that'll do to silver is possible if the Fed
- 8:43standing damaged. If the Fed standing damaged now,
- 8:47what I'm going to do for you because we got so much to cover,
- 8:50we got to go through just the highlights at this point.
- 8:53Here's a summary of that article, OK, from Bloomberg AI.
- 8:58What Goldman says is gold could rally to almost 5000 an ounce if
- 9:02the Fed's independence were damaged and investors shifted.
- 9:06This is crazy. This is the law of small numbers
- 9:08like we just talked about, just a small portion of their
- 9:12holdings from Treasuries and to bold bullion.
- 9:15Goldman Sachs said a scenario where Fed independence is
- 9:20damaged would likely lead to higher inflation, lower stock
- 9:25and long dated bond prices. We're going to talk about the
- 9:29the scariest thing happened in the world right now, the bond
- 9:31market. We'll talk about that later.
- 9:33And and an erosion of the dollars reserve currency status
- 9:38analyst said. Well, Mr. Goldman Sachs and we
- 9:40love the fact that the 1st 4 letters of your company's name
- 9:44spell out the word gold. OK, check, check, check, check,
- 9:48check gold. This is the crazy part Goldman
- 9:50Sachs estimates that if 1% of the privately owned United
- 9:56States Treasury market were to flow into gold, the gold price
- 10:00would rise to nearly $5000 per oz, assuming everything else is
- 10:07constant. And let me let me tell you this.
- 10:10I don't know if we're going to get to it in today's live
- 10:11stream. I might have to do another one
- 10:13tomorrow. The bond market is in big
- 10:15trouble. It's not just in the United
- 10:17States. The world is in big trouble.
- 10:20We've got 330 trillion dollars in debt in the world.
- 10:25We're in a debt bubble. Nobody could ever pay all that
- 10:28back. And the sad part is the only way
- 10:31it can be paid back is with dollars that are diluted, that
- 10:34are worth less, OK, Or worthless, however you want to
- 10:38say it. Or read into my intonation and
- 10:41how I pronounce that. And when the dollar becomes
- 10:45worth less because of all that, like Goldman Sachs just telling
- 10:50us, right, that only means that if you choose to use the United
- 10:54States dollars, the unit of measure for the value of your
- 10:57ounces of gold and silver, that the value is only only only
- 11:02going to go out, right? We got to talk about big news
- 11:04out of El Salvador and big news out of the crypto world that
- 11:08could just totally in a good way, rock both the silver and
- 11:13the gold markets. Before I do that, check this
- 11:15out. If you seen this.
- 11:16I love this and Susie who's not here, I can talk for her.
- 11:21She and that's a 5 oz silver bar from channel sponsor first met.
- 11:26Hey, look, I'm able to be down here making this gold and silver
- 11:29content because of the generous support from our sponsors.
- 11:32First Mint is a silver mint in Las Vegas, NV that makes world
- 11:37class silver bullion products. But what's even cooler about
- 11:41First Mint is that they are owned by First Majestic Silver.
- 11:47Everybody's heard of First, First Majestic Silver.
- 11:49Everybody knows who Keith Neumeyer is, one of the most
- 11:52respected names and figures in the precious metal sector.
- 11:56So First Majestic Silver mines the silver in Mexico, ships it
- 12:01directly to Las Vegas, NV in the United States, where it's
- 12:05transformed into these awesome silver products.
- 12:09They've got silver rounds, they have silver bars, a wide variety
- 12:13of products, but they are all unique to 1st Majestic.

- 12:26coin. They also have I'm sorry round.
- 12:29There's their bars. Here is their Hail to the Chief
- 12:33round. That Indian on the back is one
- 12:37of my favorite pieces of silver art in the world.
- 12:40The Las Vegas round and the year of the Snake.
- 12:43OK, they have free shipping on all orders.
- 12:46That's first mint.com over $199. Great selection, great service
- 12:51company you can trust. And there's a secret discount
- 12:56code that you can use VIP RB thank VIP Ron's basement, but
- 13:04the code is VIPRB. So thank you first man, I love
- 13:08this 5 oz bar. This is like the coolest most
- 13:11robust chunky. I mean it's it's just awesome.
- 13:15Susie loves it too. It feels good.
- 13:17And don't forget, this silver has never been touched by the
- 13:22LBMA or the COMEX. It's the freshest silver around
- 13:26from the mine to the meant to you.
- 13:28OK guys, let's talk about El Salvador.
- 13:31El Salvador, remember, they were the big crypto country.
- 13:35Well, they shot the precious metals world recently when this
- 13:38came out that the government of El Salvador.
- 13:43Let's get the right screen up here.
- 13:45Here it is OK here we go El Salvador's strategic gold move.
- 13:51What it means for crypto treasury management.
- 13:53Let's just read a couple paragraphs here cuz this is
- 13:56shocking. They made waves by buying $50
- 13:58million in gold, a bold move that combines traditional assets
- 14:03with the crypto world. The country's decision to
- 14:06diversify its reserves could have lasting consequences for
- 14:10crypto friendly businesses. OK, why did they buy gold?
- 14:13This isn't just a random purchase.
- 14:15It's the first major gold buy in over 3 decades for El Salvador.
- 14:21And they've also been buying Bitcoin, which some people refer
- 14:25to as digital gold. And it aligns with President
- 14:28Naive Bukili's vision for a more stable economy.
- 14:33This gold purchase, following a history of Bitcoin investments,
- 14:37shows a desire to hedge against potential volatility, whether it
- 14:41be from Bitcoin market itself or the dollar.
- 14:44And here we go. Here's a great one from our
- 14:46friend Make Gold great Again on X El Salvador.
- 14:54Oh, here we go. El Salvador turns to gold with a
- 14:59$50 million buy. So there's the president of El
- 15:03Salvador looking graciously, guys, the world financial
- 15:06system, the world monetary fiscal systems are changing
- 15:10right now like never, ever, ever before.
- 15:14But probably the biggest story right now that's not getting
- 15:18attention, but I believe shows what's happening in a big, big
- 15:24way. And it has to do with crypto and
- 15:27it has to do with precious metals and I believe very good
- 15:30for for precious metals. Was this Ronnie Stoverly posted
- 15:35this on X and the Financial Times is reporting that
- 15:39stablecoin group Tether. Do you know who Tether is?
- 15:43Tether is behind the world's biggest U.S. dollar backed
- 15:47stablecoin USDT. Every one of those coins the US
- 15:52SDT is backed by one U.S. dollar.
- 15:55OK, but they are now holding talks to invest in gold miners
- 16:01because tether also has a product called XAUT, which is a
- 16:06gold backed one hundred 100% gold backed stablecoin.
- 16:11Each one of those XAUT tokens is backed by 1 ounce of gold and
- 16:17it's held in a Swiss vault, it's audited, it's transparent, it's
- 16:21it's everything. And guys, look, whether you like
- 16:24crypto, don't like crypto, I'm not here to argue that one bit,
- 16:28but I don't think that we can argue with the current president
- 16:32in the White House, who is the crypto president and with how
- 16:35the world is, is now moving more and more towards crypto, that
- 16:40crypto is here to stay. But why is this good for gold?
- 16:43Why is this good for silver? Because these actual stable
- 16:47coins that are backed by physical metal are going to
- 16:51become more more popular, whether or not you agree with
- 16:54it. At the end of the day, the
- 16:56digitization and the and and and gold and silver on the
- 17:00blockchain are going to create more and more demand for the
- 17:05physical metals. Because what they do is they
- 17:08combine the benefits of the blockchain of crypto with the
- 17:12benefits of owning physical metal.
- 17:14Look, I'm not here again, not a political statement, not a
- 17:18crypto pro con argument whatsoever.
- 17:22But we do know that right now, for instance, XAUT has over a
- 17:27billion dollars, I think $1.3 billion worth of gold that they
- 17:33are holding. As these products become more
- 17:36and more popular, that will mean they will have to acquire more
- 17:40and more gold, which explains why they're looking to invest in
- 17:43gold miners. The same can be said with
- 17:45silver. I think at the Kinesis Silver
- 17:50token that they have has over $155,000,000 worth of silver
- 17:55backed by real physical silver. I'm not sponsored by these
- 17:59companies. I'm not telling you what to do
- 18:01with your money. But what I am telling you that
- 18:03as the blockchain and crypto continue to be adopted, these
- 18:07real world backed tokens are going to become more popular.
- 18:12And the good news for you as a silver and gold investor,
- 18:15whether or not you choose to participate, is that it is going
- 18:19to take more and more and more metal off the market.
- 18:23And as a matter of fact, the boss of the crypto company
- 18:27Tether, they posted they had profits of almost 6 billion.
- 18:31But in the past he is called gold, the natural Bitcoin.
- 18:36So some people like to refer to gold as, as I'm sorry, Bitcoin
- 18:41is digital gold. He's calling gold natural
- 18:45Bitcoin. So very, very interesting.
- 18:47I think the biggest story going, I think you don't have to agree
- 18:51with me, but I think independent of any, any argument about
- 18:55crypto, independent of any political views that is we look
- 18:59out five to 10 years from now. This could be a could have a
- 19:04major impact on overall demand for silver and gold and could
- 19:09have a major, major impact within the precious metals
- 19:13sector. OK, guys, man, there's so much
- 19:16more to cover. We got Costco a CNBC Hold on
- 19:22here. Let's see what this next article
- 19:23is. Well, we'll go back to that one.
- 19:25We've got CNBC, right with a big article about gold, gold and an
- 19:30all time. The mainstream media starting to
- 19:32pick up on all this gold is in an all time high.
- 19:36Here's what a Costco bar about a year ago is worth.
- 19:38Now they're talking about premiums and and taxes and all
- 19:43kinds of stuff. But the important part here is,
- 19:46right, this is CNBC #1 #2 they're talking about Costco.
- 19:52What this indicates to us is that we are in the early stages
- 19:58of mainstream of the generalist moving into the precious metals.
- 20:03People are really going to wake up when they start going to the
- 20:07grocery store, right in the coming two to three years.
- 20:10And they thought that the inflation we had after the C-19
- 20:13crisis was bad. It's going to be nothing like
- 20:16it. OK, the other big.
- 20:18The issue that we have going on right now in the world, we are
- 20:22guys, look, maybe you know this, maybe you don't, but OK, the
- 20:27bond market is the most important market in the world,
- 20:30not the stock market, OK? Everybody thinks, oh, everybody,
- 20:33that's what all the noise is made about.
- 20:35The stock market did this, the stock market did that.
- 20:38But the reality is the bond market is magnitudes bigger and
- 20:42magnitudes more important. And we've got big issues
- 20:45happening right now in the bond market.
- 20:49Here we go. Yep, Here's an article from
- 20:52Reuters. And this will bleed through to
- 20:55the metals prices. This will this will will
- 20:58ultimately result in money printing.
- 21:00But Reuters points out global bond market stabilize for now as
- 21:04a fiscal storm looms. We've got here I'll just read
- 21:07this. A sense of calm settled over the
- 21:09world's biggest bond markets on Wednesday.
- 21:11But concerns about fiscal health and major economies from Japan
- 21:16to Britain in the United States kept long dated borrowing cost
- 21:21pinned at near multi year highs. Worries about Japan Japan's
- 21:26fiscal position were revived after Prime Minister.
- 21:30I can't even try to pronounce that. close aide said he
- 21:34intended to resign from his post pushing Japan's 30 year
- 21:39government bonds to record high, well above 3%.
- 21:44What they're going to do, they're going to the world.
- 21:47Think about this. This is real simple, OK?
- 21:50The world can't afford higher interest rates with all that
- 21:54debt, $330 trillion in debt. the United States is approaching 40
- 22:00trillion in debt. We'll round up. the United
- 22:03States cannot afford to pay 5% interest on $40 trillion in
- 22:08debt. That would be $2 trillion a
- 22:10year. What the world is going to have
- 22:12to do because nobody wants to buy 30 year Treasuries.
- 22:16Who in their right mind would loan the United States
- 22:19government money for 30 years? What do you think the dollar is
- 22:23going to be worth in 30 years? Look at what happened over the
- 22:26last 30 years. Look at what happened over the
- 22:29last three years. The dollar lost 50% of its value
- 22:32value versus gold. So what these world governments
- 22:36are going to have to do is print money in the United States.
- 22:40That'll be the Fed to buy the long dated securities.
- 22:44That's called yield curve curve control.
- 22:47It ends in disaster. But at minimum, OK, common sense
- 22:52when the feds and in the central banks around the world are
- 22:55printing money to buy the bonds to keep the rates on the bonds
- 22:59down, that printing of money, that's like if you print any
- 23:02anything, right? If I had, if there were only 10
- 23:06Mickey Mantle 1954 baseball court cards in the world, but
- 23:11suddenly tops or whoever said I we're going to print 10 more,
- 23:15that would make the value go down.
- 23:17I didn't have to tell you that. That's common sense.
- 23:20So the the take away here is that the world that the bond
- 23:23market, which is the biggest market in the world, is showing
- 23:28major signs of trouble, major, major signs of issues.
- 23:33All right, guys, we're going to wrap it up there.
- 23:35Thank you all for being here. I want to say hi to a few of you
- 23:38in the comments. Hello, Debbie.
- 23:41All right. Hello, little Red.
- 23:42Hello, Morgan. Hello.
- 23:44The truth. It's donkey time.
