  And we're going to be talking about some things that will need

  to happen in order for the next Starship.

  And the next booster to do a orbital flight test, that should

  in theory, be happening sometime this year according to Gwynne.

  Now if you're not familiar, booster 7 has been moved from
• 0:37
  stage zero at Starbase to the Bay again in this seems to be
• 0:44
  for further testing and also possibly for the grid fins to be
• 0:48
  attached. To the top of booster 7, booster
• 0:51
  7 does went through an array of cryogenic testing and it seemed
• 0:56
  to be successful. Hey, let me know what you think.

  In the comments, when do you think this is actually going to

  launch? And do you think it's going to

  be shipped 24 and booster 7 or ship 24 and booster 82 because

  booster eats almost complete. If you look at that data it

  looks like the next step for booster 7 would be to get the
• 1:17
  grid fins. They do some checkouts of
• 1:21
  booster 7 and then they move it back to the orbital flight area,
• 1:26
  a couple miles down highway for towards boat.

  Oh Chica Beach and put it back on the pad, put it back on the
• 1:34
  orbital pad and continue doing some more cryo testing.

  It will take a couple more cryo tests and some more pressure
• 1:40
  tests in order to get this properly tested for the orbital
• 1:44
  flight test launch, hopefully sometime this summer.

  Now, they did have a pipe that they replaced in the middle of
• 1:53
  booster 7. The downcomer pipe seemingly was
• 1:56
  crushed in a looked like That went all well with the recent
• 2:02
  cryogenic tests. So going forward, it seems like
• 2:07
  they're going to continue doing those Chrono test down there at
• 2:09
  the orbital flight area. Now, they're working on the lift
• 2:14
  arms at this point. They're working on stage 0.

  At this point. That's the stage that's
• 2:19
  underneath the booster. That's all the launch stuff.

  It's underneath the booster and the ship, so stay zero.

  Meaning the lift arms, the launch pad All the piping and
• 2:32
  all the electronics, everything Aviation stuff, that's at the
• 2:36
  bottom, that's called State 0, so I have that they're working
• 2:40
  on still, they continue to work on that.

  Ilan has said numerous times, the state 0 is just as hard, or
• 2:46
  if not harder to get right, then boosters and ships.
• 2:52
  So, even if they do have a booster ready and if they have a
• 2:58
  ship ready, if 20 isn't ready. Then they can't launch the
• 3:04
  orbital flight test until this is all complete.

  And you have to remember that sometimes these things will take
• 3:11
  a long time. I'm the same way as you.

  I feel the same way about all of these tests.

  I wish they would get this done so I could watch a launch.

  That's what I'm hoping for some time.

  This summer. I'm going to come back down to
• 3:26
  the Brownsville area when they do an orbital flight test.

  And I will watch a launch possibly from South Padre
• 3:33
  Island, or some other area around this place.

  I've been living in Bronzeville for the last eight months, and

  it is absolutely beautiful down there.

  And it will be an amazing sight to see a fully stacked.

  Starship fly, and Ilana, said this numerous times, maybe it's

  not going to clear the pad. Maybe it's not going to make it
• 3:56
  out of the stage zero area. And if that were to happen, The

  future of Starbase would be put in a little bit of Jeopardy and
• 4:06
  would be pushed back a little bit Starbase Texas.

  it's June or July. Now we've already had completion

  of some of the the environmental review for Starship launch

  facilities down there at The Endangered Species Act

  consultation is complete section. 106, review is

  complete. This is all from the FAA so it

  has to go through the FAA in order to launch as well

  endangered species at consultation Noah and the
• 7:55
  magnuson-stevens fishery conservation and management act
• 7:58
  section 305 are all done. Only thing that's left to be

  done is the full environmental assessment and that will be done
• 8:04
  in 14 days from today. So that's possible that once
• 8:10
  that's completed they need to have flight Readiness for ship
• 8:15
  and booster but I don't think they're going to get it done in
• 8:18
  15 days. I think it's going to take a
• 8:19
  little bit longer than that. I don't think at the end of this
• 8:21
  month, we're going to get a launch of Starship and booster
• 8:24
  7, I have a lot of testing to be done, we don't even know where
• 8:28
  all the Raptor. Is are at this point for the
• 8:32
  ship in the booster booster 33 engines ship has engines as
• 8:38
  well. So there's a lot of engines that
• 8:41
  are kind of out in the wild some place or at their McGregor
• 8:44
  testing facility and there's been a couple mishaps that
• 8:46
  McGregor lately or possible test to failure test going on.
• 8:54
  So there's a possibility that the Raptor twos aren't even done
• 8:57
  yet, you know, and that they still need.
• 8:59
  Produce a bunch of raptor 2's in order to get this flight ready.

  So it could be months before the Raptor twos are even ready for
• 9:06
  this. So, I'm just kind of putting
• 9:09
  this in a perspective of what is even possible at this point.

  So the next step here, assemble ship 24.

  Looks like a really great Next Step here.

  Ship 24 would be absolutely perfect.

  It would be a perfect time to take it down to the Down to the
• 9:28
  orbital flight pad. Not quite yet but soon but take
• 9:35
  ship 24 to the orbital flight pad.

  Test it out, test it out. With the Chopsticks, they still
• 9:40
  have to do a fit test with 24 and booster 7 as well.

  So when they fully stack, the ship on top of the booster, then
• 9:49
  they can do full cryogenic testing of a full Starship which
• 9:54
  is going to take a little bit of time to and I don't want to be a
• 9:57
  downer. Here but I just want to let
• 9:59
  everybody know in comparison to what we have been seeing, you
• 10:02
  know, Falcon 9's launch all the time and we all want Starship to
• 10:06
  launch but there's a possibility we may be here until you know
• 10:11
  september/october possibly even next year before a Starship
• 10:15
