- 0:44I want to talk to you guys about.
- 0:46what's going on in the practice.
- 0:48What you should look forward to.
- 0:50How we pivot into a new.
- 0:52Field, or I guess in you.
- 0:54Types of medicine.
- 0:56Or.
- 0:57We, uh, working on getting known for something different.
- 1:00So to speak.
- 1:01As many of you guys know that I am.
- 1:03The gut doctor.
- 1:05I love helping people heal the gut.
- 1:07Eliminating the gas, bloating, constipation, the area.
- 1:11I said, we have flags, chronic fatigue.
- 1:13all got through.
- 1:13Related issues.
- 1:15Abdominal pain.
- 1:16You know, helping address the liver, the kidneys.
- 1:19Small and large intestine and also addressing symptoms that are outside of the gut.
- 1:24Like headaches, migraine.
- 1:25Skinny shoes, hair issues, auto immune issues, and even cancer.
- 1:30I've been doing this work for some time now.
- 1:33I am realizing that there's a bigger.
- 1:36Colin.
- 1:36If you can understand what I'm saying, like I am called to do something different.
- 1:39I'm called to do something.
- 1:40Amazing.
- 1:41And while working on the gut is fine.
- 1:44I love it.
- 1:45And I think the gut is the portal.
- 1:46Uh, disease and illness, I will continue to help people.
- 1:50Fix the gut heal.
- 1:51The God we're moving inflammation.
- 1:52Even the new medicine I'm going to practice is still going to have a, gut focus.
- 1:58I will never stop working on people's gut.
- 2:00However I will be.
- 2:02Working on people's God.
- 2:03Helping people to heal the gut and also.
- 2:06Balancing the hormones.
- 2:07because what I've been noticing in my practice with a lot of my, Got the clutter and patience.
- 2:12They will do well on the program.
- 2:14They have at least 90% of the symptoms eliminated.
- 2:18However, they still coming back to me with symptoms that are hormonal.
- 2:22Related that still lingering around and they're having tons of difficulties getting rid of them.
- 2:28So the goal for the end of the year and moving all next year God-willing is to really help people balance the hormones.
- 2:36I want to come at it.
- 2:37In a different way.
- 2:38Meaning that I, it will be.
- 2:40Not only helping them balancing the hormones, but also educating them.
- 2:45And also helping them identify what the body's doing or saying how these hormones are.
- 2:50Super-duper important.
- 2:52How we cannot bypass, The production of hormones, Hydell releasing our blood stream.
- 2:58How do we have, you know, except the site.
- 3:01On every single cells and every single organ and how we need to really, uh, put that into focus, Many of us are living longer.
- 3:09Like the average.
- 3:10It's death for, you know, people dying back in the 1940s was 48.
- 3:14Now people are living longer, but they already are living longer.
- 3:18They are suffering.
- 3:19They have lingo and symptoms.
- 3:20They're not living longer and enjoying the lives.
- 3:22They are living longer in pain.
- 3:23Living longer in distress and dysfunction.
- 3:26Living longer in stress and worries, and concerns and aches and pains.
- 3:31And I can know.
- 3:32Push into the day, not fit in the best.
- 3:34And since agent is not something we can avoid, we're all going to get old, including myself.
- 3:40And I think getting old is a beautiful, beautiful process.
- 3:44If you were to ask me.
- 3:46But it's how we get old is our look on it.
- 3:50Have you I'm getting old.
- 3:51I want to change.
- 3:52And how your body function as you're getting old.
- 3:55Because I see so many patients in my practice.
- 3:58They'll tell me why.
- 3:58Dr.
- 3:58Jay's age.
- 4:00I saw a lady the other day who has an IUD inserted.
- 4:02She's perimenopausal, heavy, heavy bleeding.
- 4:05And she has anemia because of the heavy bleed, but, she had an IUD.
- 4:08And started.
- 4:09And then when I said, why do you think that is?
- 4:12And she was telling me how it's her age?
- 4:14But she's not even like 50 yet.
- 4:17I'm not going.
- 4:17My God.
- 4:18That's very young.
- 4:19I just turned 43.
- 4:21I'm going to be 44 next year.
- 4:23So I'm going into perimenopausal.
- 4:25According to menopause society, perimenopause is started at the age of 45.
- 4:30And sometimes earlier, I've seen people that goes into menopause at the age of 40.
- 4:3542 43.
- 4:36I know my mother went into menopause.
- 4:38Late, 40, if not 38 40.
- 4:41So she went into menopause very early, earlier than.
- 4:45You know, the average.
- 4:46Individual the average population.
- 4:48But, I don't, I am at crunch when people tell me it's age, my back hurts.
- 4:54Why?
- 4:54Because I'm getting old, my head swelling up.
- 4:56I'm getting old.
- 4:57I cannot sleep.
- 4:58My joints are hurting.
- 4:59I can't get rid of this heavy fat.
- 5:01In my, around my belly.
- 5:02Why?
- 5:02Because I'm getting old.
- 5:04It's not about you getting old.
- 5:05My friend is how your body hasn't been functioned properly because after sin, Older people.
- 5:12I go to the gym and there's this lady at my gym.
- 5:15I swear to you, she must be like, 70 something, but you will never know.
- 5:19You never know, cause she comes on her nice cognitive outfit and she's doing most of the exercises movement better than I.
- 5:26I'm struggling to do a pushup and he or she is going out it, and you can touch this older than me because you can tell she's older than me.
- 5:33She has a beautiful skin.
- 5:34She's always smiling.
- 5:35And.
- 5:35She is not.
- 5:37Your picture, your typical.
- 5:3970 year old.
- 5:40She moves around though.
- 5:41She's not complaining.
- 5:43She does everything a hundred plus percent while all of us are like struggling in the classroom.
- 5:47So age to me is just a number.
- 5:50It's what you put to it.
- 5:51It's not the end all.
- 5:52So when patients come to me and they have all of these issues and they're Eliminate an age and I kind of feel sad, not only sad for them.
- 6:00Sad for.
- 6:01You know, the society sat for my community and sat for myself because if you 50 and you are complaining of all these aches and pains, and I'm only 43.
- 6:09What is that going to be for me?
- 6:10When I turned 50, am I going to go through this X and pains?
- 6:13So for the past few months, I've been.
- 6:16Literally thinking about this.
- 6:17Thinking about how.
- 6:19I want to make a difference.
- 6:21And I am going to.
- 6:23Help a community that has been.
- 6:25stigmatized in a way, like you old you into menopause, your sexual drive is low.
- 6:30You have a little bit of a new old when in fact it's no, if you have the right hormonal.
- 6:36Treatment.
- 6:37To balance your hormones and protocols to balance your hormones.
- 6:40And you can have a good, healthy levels of estrogen progesterone.
- 6:45for some people testosterone, Then, you should be fine.
- 6:48You shouldn't be like, oh, I'm old.
- 6:50That's why I have, you know, drive vagina.
- 6:52I'm old because.
- 6:53That's why I'm not, I don't have a sexual appetite in the bedroom.
- 6:56I'm old because you know, that's why I kept getting right on my midsection.
- 6:59I'm old because my skin is winkled and, you know, I can't get up the staircase.
- 7:05So again, age is a number that somebody gave us.
- 7:08That to me.
- 7:08I don't, sometimes I don't even know how old I am.
- 7:11And I have to keep reminding myself.
- 7:12How old am I?
- 7:12Because it's just a number I'm not holding under the number and correlated to how I'm feeling.
- 7:17Yes.
- 7:18I do understand as we get older, our body function decreases.
- 7:22So our job is to really decrease the progression of decrease.
- 7:26The creation of our body function is to slow down the progression is not to embrace it and make it mean something.
- 7:32And that's why we can not get up the staircase now.
- 7:34She's old.
- 7:35She's in a wheelchair.
- 7:36No.
- 7:37So I've been really.
- 7:38Contemplating and been working on this behind the scenes.
- 7:41And working with the commander poser community.
- 7:44So that's what we're moving into with pivot in to balancing people's homophones, to helping people really revive And have a healthy.
- 7:52intimacy.
- 7:53And I'm going to talk about sex a lot in this podcast.
- 7:55So get ready for this.
- 7:57If the word sex is a trigger word.
- 7:59I I'm not gonna apologize.
- 8:00I would love for you to work on that and find that white, what is your past experience with sex?
- 8:05What is your trauma?
- 8:06Because I know for me, I grew up in a household.
- 8:09We couldn't even say the word sex.
- 8:11We can't.
- 8:12If you did you get beaten up, you get judged.
- 8:15You get like looked at, did that look.
- 8:16You crazy?
- 8:17What would you say it is?
- 8:18Shame on you for saying the word.
- 8:20When in fact it is the most beautiful exercise that human beings can do, wherever they choose to do it.
- 8:27And to connect them.
- 8:29So it's a connection factor when it comes to sex.
- 8:32Of course.
- 8:32You know, for people to go out there and just slip with everybody and get STDs and not be, you know, responsible human beings, adults.
- 8:39But if you're in a relationship and you have a significant person, or if you choose to be in a relationship that has many significant person and you guys agree and it's consensual.
- 8:48go at it like this consent, go at it.
- 8:50I'm not here to judge.
- 8:52But when it comes to menopause, a lot of us, a lot of people.
- 8:55Uh, having a lot of, symptoms that they don't know what to deal with.
- 8:59And many of them are just suffering silently, not really reaching out to anyone.
- 9:04And then.
- 9:05Yes.
- 9:05What.
- 9:06They just got told, or this is age.
- 9:08This is, you know, this is what of life, suck it up and stop complaining.
- 9:11Just suffer until you die.
- 9:12Suffer until your daddy.
- 9:14To me, that's a no-no in my book.
- 9:15I am not here to suffer until I die.
- 9:18I'm here to thrive.
- 9:19I'm here to Willie.
- 9:20Communicate with my body and listen to the symptoms that I'm getting and find a way to decrease them or eliminate them or fix them.
- 9:26But the suffering thing is not me.
- 9:28I did not sign up to get, you know, to be on this planet to be here.
- 9:32My mother give birth to me.
- 9:33God chose me.
- 9:35To suffer.
- 9:35So, if you are like in the suffering mode and you are accepting it, I would love for you to really sit with yourself and say, Hey enough is enough.
- 9:45I've been suffering.
- 9:46I know there's a solution out there because guess what?
- 9:48There's a solution out there.
- 9:49Not everybody is suffering.
- 9:50Some people are really thriving.
- 9:52They have beautiful health.
- 9:53They are traveling.
- 9:54They are making tons of impact in the world.
- 9:56And I want to be in that bucket.
- 9:57I don't want to be in the suffering bucket, but guess what?
- 10:00This is going to acquire for you to continue to.
- 10:03Communicate with yourself to continue to find the reasons why you suffering and fix it.
- 10:07Because at the end of the day, Your symptoms, the way you feel on a daily basis and an hourly basis.
- 10:14It's your body communicating with you?
- 10:17And many of us, we don't know about this type of communication.
- 10:20Is what to do about it.
- 10:21Yes, we do go to the doctor.
- 10:23We'll do go see the conventional doctor, maybe functional medicine doctor.
- 10:27And we got told, okay, you know, take this medication.
- 10:30Let's do this blood test.
- 10:31As the, this imaging, everything is normal.
- 10:33And then again, it's in your head.
- 10:35Go see a psychiatrist, get you some anxiety pill, get you some depression.
- 10:39Medications when in fact it's not because the body is a powerful tool, it's a powerful machine is continuously working for you.
- 10:47It's continuously working for me.
- 10:49It's continuously working for the community.
- 10:51So to get to be told that it's in your head, you crazy.
- 10:56And stop complaining.
- 10:57It's his life.
- 10:58That's it.
- 10:59I mean to me, that's a disgrace to humanity.
- 11:01And also to you as the patient who feel.
- 11:04Off.
- 11:04Do you feel like, okay, this is not my body.
- 11:06That's not what I, I want, I desire health.
- 11:10I desire vitality.
- 11:11I desire STEMI.
- 11:12Now this is not what I want.
- 11:14So.
- 11:15Again, by the end of moving forward with, uh, By the end of the year, we're going to be focusing on menopausal.
- 11:21And my goal.
- 11:23Again, if, as long as I have the strength and God gives me the power and the world to do so.
- 11:28And it's that's in his wish for me.
- 11:30Is it, is it.
- 11:31I know he spent for me, I will be happy menopausal.
- 11:34When I pose a patient.
- 11:36Help them balance the hormones, help them balance.
- 11:39You know, the moons, get them, you know, um, have more sexual appetite, increased libido so that they can really.
- 11:48For a great than the bodies.
- 11:49Now you might be saying, well, Dr.
- 11:51Jay, how are you doing this?
- 11:52Because at the end of the day, you had a good doctor.
- 11:56You had a gut and the weight-loss doctor.
- 11:58How is this happening?
- 11:59Well, I've been working very hard behind the scenes.
- 12:04I've been educating myself a ton for the past few months have been searching.
- 12:09We search in, um, About herbs that are designed for menopausal and perimenopausal and PMs.
- 12:18Okay.
- 12:19So I've been doing a lot of work again, people don't tell you, at least I don't, I don't tell you what's going on behind the scenes.
- 12:25So when I show up.
- 12:27In the market with a program it's not, I just wake up.
- 12:31I'm like, oh, I'm going to do this program.
- 12:32No, I test the products.
- 12:35I test, um, you know, The program.
- 12:39I have patients within my practice that are willing to help me out.
- 12:43They know me, they trust me.
- 12:45They know I am here for them.
- 12:47I am literally in the back, I'm here to help them.
- 12:50I'm not here to hurt them.
- 12:51So if I have, an herb, a product that I need different, feedbacks on, I will have patients I can reach out to and I would just give him the part of, for free, and then we'll try it.
- 13:01And they tell me, Hey, on a, and then if they say, Hey for buddy saying, Hey, yeah, yeah.
- 13:05And if the squatter, then I will keep it.
- 13:06If it's like, Hey, I don't know.
- 13:08We'll move it because at the end of the day, I am not here to make an exchange.
- 13:13Money for services.
- 13:16And then for the service not to work.
- 13:17That is my worst nightmare.
- 13:19Giving people.
- 13:20Products that are not working.
- 13:22Because I know they will come to me for a reason.
- 13:25And sometimes I might be, you know, one of the people they have high hopes.
- 13:29So I'm not here to say, Hey, do this.
- 13:31And then this is not going to work.
- 13:33So therefore I am very meticulous and I'm very anal when it comes to products that I choose, that I put in my program.
- 13:38And how did we.
- 13:39interact with each other and how they help people.
- 13:41So that's one thing we've been doing.
- 13:43I have a few herbs that I've been testing for menopause.
- 13:47If you arrested, I've been testing for PMs libido.
- 13:50I have so many companies that I'm communicating with right now that we've been researching.
- 13:54I have a lot of great ingredients that are non-toxic.
- 13:57And I've been, really studying and researching and examining and evaluating and assessing all.
- 14:04Just to make sure that the world worked.
- 14:06Because it's typical, treatment four minute balls, You have hot flashes or night sweats or irritability, mood swings, or blah, blah, blah.
- 14:14You go to your doctor and they'll give you home loans.
- 14:17That's it.
- 14:18They give you homeless that are not properly.
- 14:20Balanced the levels about, and some people would get like mostly estrogen, synthetic estrogen.
- 14:25Some people would get more sleep was progestin, which is synthetic progesterone.
- 14:29And then you get the home on some people stuffing in a little better.
- 14:32And then at the end they still feel the same.
- 14:34And, you know, you go back to your doctor and be like, oh, Let's increase the dose.
- 14:39But for me, I want to come at this with a different.
- 14:42Lens in a different way.
- 14:45Yes.
- 14:45I am going to help people buy and sell homes, but I'm going to try to do it as natural as possible.
- 14:49As natural as possible.
- 14:51With herbs with some products that I have here with healthy lifestyles, with a lot of guidance, a lot of monetary and a lot of evaluating, a lot of accessibility to me into the team.
- 15:02We're not gonna just.
- 15:04Give people products and they say, Hey goodbye.
- 15:07And go figure it out.
- 15:09That's never been a thing of mine as a practitioner, as a functional medicine practitioner.
- 15:14I always want to do.
- 15:15Things for patients the way I want to do things to me, I want to treat patients the way I'm going to treat myself.
- 15:20I want to have access to a doctor.
- 15:22I can just send a message and get an answer within 24 hours.
- 15:25I want to have access to the team.
- 15:26I can just pick up the phone and call and not be different messages and don't get a call box.
- 15:31So these are the things patients are important to me.
- 15:33When I called the doctor a week ago, I'm still waiting to hear back.
- 15:35Or the nurse call me and say everything is normal, but to have so many questions, I have to schedule another appointment and pay again to consider a doctor for us.
- 15:42That's not the way it is, Because again, I values people's decision to work with us.
- 15:47To me, it is the best thing we could have done because we do things again the most natural way.
- 15:52Yes there's.
- 15:52Sometimes I might prescribe medications if patients really need it.
- 15:56Because at the end of the day, I have to do as best for my patients and stabilize them before we introduced natural medicine.
- 16:01So, yeah.
- 16:02Might give you something for, you know, like a steroids, if something is going on.
- 16:06But that's not going to be.
- 16:07My goal, That's not going to be the only thing I'm holding on to when it comes to helping you heal your body.
- 16:13So with menopause, now we have herbs.
- 16:15We want to incorporate and have products and supplements that we've tried.
- 16:19I have two team members.
- 16:21Two of my employees.
- 16:23One is going to perimenopausal.
- 16:25That's Len.
- 16:25And the other one is going to is full bloom and a postmenopausal that's Maryland.
- 16:29So when I have those things and I have them try it out.
- 16:32They are perfect examples of what, what results patients can get in our practice.
- 16:37So.
- 16:38That's that, but I am also registered with the menopause.org.
- 16:42As a menopause practitioner.
- 16:44So if you're looking for menopause practitioner near you.
- 16:46You can always go to menopause.org, which is, National American menopause society.
- 16:51I believe.
- 16:52And they have practitioner's day.
- 16:53Currently.
- 16:54Working on getting certified.
- 16:56I don't need the certification, the parties.
- 16:58to help people with, you know, Balance the hormones.
- 17:01So many people are doing it.
- 17:02They're not even certified, but for me having the certification, that's going to really enhance my skills.
- 17:07And I just don't want to I'm not a doctor.
- 17:10You know, Probably 10 people's homes.
- 17:12I want to be the doctor that has studied that at the time and energy.
- 17:15To get certified and to learn all the things about menopause.
- 17:19Cause the certifications and not chill is a national process.
- 17:22And I can.
- 17:23B M in a positive.
- 17:24set of five minute boys practitioner everywhere.
- 17:27So that's something I'm working behind the scenes.
- 17:29but moving forward.
- 17:30I am still going to help people hear the gods.
- 17:33I'm still going to help people with ways and fat loss.
- 17:36And as a matter of fact, with the menopause.
- 17:38program.
- 17:38We do both Because I have to pull them that I have not only has herbs to balance.
- 17:44Yes.
- 17:44I mean, to eliminate your symptoms, but you're also going to lose weight.
- 17:47I'm incorporating some of my weight-loss capsules in the program.
- 17:51And of course they're going to get something.
- 17:53So the gut as well in the program.
- 17:55So it's going to be a well-rounded.
- 17:57And I feel like with the gut declutter and program, People lose weight.
- 18:00That's the second reported outcome is the weight loss and the eliminate, the symptoms they have energy and they lose weight and eliminate the symptoms, but the hormones whenever, fully balanced.
- 18:10With the menopause program, you all going to have energy, you all going to lose weight?
- 18:15And then you all going to have your home on balance and then you're going to have more, increase libido and half.
- 18:21a company that I'm working now.
- 18:23The have some great, products for sex drive, which is pure herbs.
- 18:27Again, pure supplements, everything in the program's going to be non-toxic.
- 18:32But.
- 18:32Again, I don't want to be another doc that I just balancing hormones.

- 19:00And support my patients because I want to provide them another help.
- 19:05I don't want to be the only person that's doing all the things cause that's not a great business model because at the end of the day, if I, you know, I have an emergency, God forbid and I need to take a few days off and.
- 19:16And that happens theater day when I had a death in the family and I have to go to Massachusetts.

- 19:49She's out there.
- 19:50they're doing a lot of great work, helping many people, but with no medical degree with no nursing information or medical knowledge.
- 19:58With her, she has everything and she has a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful soul.
- 20:03Beautiful.
- 20:04How would I say this attitude?
- 20:05She loves our patients.
- 20:06Our patients love her, and I think she's the best fit for this position.
- 20:11Because she is going to take care of my people the way I would take care of my people with love and compassion.
- 20:17And empathy.
- 20:18And, you know, creating space for them.
- 20:20So it's a beautiful, beautiful relationship.
- 20:22So she's my coach.
- 20:23And then, What else is going on.
- 20:25So we're moving into menopause.
- 20:26So, if any of you guys know.
- 20:28Someone that's struggling.
- 20:29Balancing the hormones.

- 20:37We accept them menopause patients right now.
- 20:40And all of the program is still being tested, but we can get started with the testing.
- 20:45And I am super duper happy.
- 20:47To be that vessel for them, the vehicle for them.
- 20:51Because at the end of the day, I know we do things differently here.
- 20:54This is why we have so many great reviews.
- 20:57Our patients love us.
- 20:58And I practice with integrity.
- 21:01And I practice with conscious because again, if patients in my practice don't do well.
- 21:06Sometimes they're not ready for the change.
- 21:07Sometimes it's too much for them.
- 21:08Life happens overwhelmed, but for us, me on this side, I always wake up every day and I asked the Lord to give me strength.
- 21:14Please guide me.
- 21:15What is it that I need to do today for the, for wherever I'm going to see?

- 21:22And I'm always asking.
- 21:23I'm always playing for my patients, for them to see results for them to see.
- 21:26the outcomes that they pay for.
- 21:28They come, you know, in my, environment or container.
