- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, y'all.
- 0:00Speaker 2: Welcome to the What More Can I Say podcast. This
- 0:03Speaker 2: is Episode Rider. What number are we on?
- 0:06Speaker 3: 382.
- 0:06Speaker 1: 382 of these things. I'm one of your hosts, Tom Capone. Woo, woo.
- 0:09Speaker 4: Woo, woo. Woo, woo, woo.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 0:13Speaker 4: Oh, Keyshawn just called us back.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hold on. Oh, she did? Okay, look. We got Keyshawn.
- 0:18Speaker 1: She called us back.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Keyshawn, you on speakerphone. You on the pod. Good morning.
- 0:24Speaker 5: We were calling to get some insight from you about
- 0:26Speaker 5: the HF and Lincoln Wade drama.
- 0:29Speaker 4: We know your son plays football there.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yes, he does.
- 0:33Speaker 4: So what have you been hearing?
- 0:37Speaker 6: Not a whole lot.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I know that yesterday HF canceled classes for the zero
- 0:43Speaker 3: period for the students so that all the faculty could meet.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Because you all know there.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Are two incidents that occurred over the weekend.
- 0:51Speaker 6: So they were meeting.
- 0:53Speaker 3: We haven't had any updates yet, but they are considering
- 0:56Speaker 3: taking legal action.
- 0:57Speaker 4: This is not new with Lincoln Way East.
- 1:01Speaker 3: And to my understanding, even my son was saying there
- 1:03Speaker 3: were some things, you know, being said on the football field,
- 1:05Speaker 3: but they were kind of locked in, you know, on.
- 1:08Speaker 6: Attempting to win the game.
- 1:10Speaker 3: But it's just really unfortunate.
- 1:12Speaker 6: The kids have been affected.
- 1:14Speaker 4: They're supposed to do a walkout.
- 1:15Speaker 6: Today, if I'm not mistaken. And it's just, you know,
- 1:18Speaker 6: nothing we really want to be focused on right now.
- 1:20Speaker 6: But here we are.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Now, I know in the original statement, they said that
- 1:25Speaker 5: the racist people, the people that were making the racist
- 1:27Speaker 5: comments weren't athletes.
- 1:29Speaker 1: At the school.
- 1:29Speaker 5: They were just like, you know, visitors or onlookers. But
- 1:33Speaker 5: you're saying it's just like he heard it during the
- 1:35Speaker 5: game and on the field.
- 1:37Speaker 4: He was there.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:38Speaker 1: There were.
- 1:39Speaker 6: He didn't hear those particular kids. The kids that were
- 1:42Speaker 6: actually playing in the game were saying things.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Singing so like.
- 1:46Speaker 6: You know but he says but i mean that's.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Not new my son's been playing football since he was
- 1:50Speaker 3: five and i mean that's not obviously not a justification.
- 1:53Speaker 6: But that is you know kind of what they do
- 1:56Speaker 6: but they have kind of been you know they kind
- 1:57Speaker 6: of blow it off and just focus.
- 1:59Speaker 4: On you know laying it all out on the.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Field but he did say that they say stuff he's.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Like but i'm used to that that's so sad and
- 2:05Speaker 5: unfortunate it is.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Well, Keyshawn, we appreciate you sharing. I'm probably going to
- 2:11Speaker 2: call you during my radio show and get you on. But, yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 2: we're going to talk about the rest of this on
- 2:16Speaker 2: the pod. So tell your son you're about to be
- 2:19Speaker 2: a star.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I appreciate it.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Thank you, guys.
- 2:23Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Thanks, Queen.
- 2:27Speaker 2: That's crazy. Yeah, it's very crazy. Man, well, we got
- 2:32Speaker 2: to finish the intros. Kiki, who just answered the phone.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Whoop, whoop.
- 2:36Speaker 6: Hey, y'all.
- 2:37Speaker 4: What's up, 5FM?
- 2:38Speaker 2: And also my brother over there that got his waves going.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I got to give it to you, buddy. Waves looking
- 2:44Speaker 1: great right now. Thank you, brother. I have hair envy.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Thank you, brother. I appreciate it. They look like this
- 2:48Speaker 1: all the time.
- 2:50Speaker 4: You heard what he said? He said they look like
- 2:52Speaker 4: this all the time.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I didn't hear that part.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I just want to make sure you heard what he said.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 2:57Speaker 5: And I love, every time I wear this hat, Tone
- 2:59Speaker 5: literally addresses me all day as dog dad.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:02Speaker 4: And you know what? I will be the dog dad today, okay?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Okay, take it.
- 3:06Speaker 4: He always say that. I wear any other hat.
- 3:08Speaker 7: It just tears him up.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Like, why is a woman having a hat that say dad?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Dog dad. Yes, okay. Dog dad. Why ain't you a
- 3:14Speaker 1: dog mom? Why ain't you a dog mom?
- 3:16Speaker 4: They didn't have a dog mom once, so yes.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I didn't realize I didn't realize that I always do
- 3:24Speaker 2: that it bothers.
- 3:24Speaker 5: You it gets on your nerves every time he forget
- 3:28Speaker 5: my name every time I wear this hat y'all know
- 3:29Speaker 5: I don't.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Got them things I don't got none of them one
- 3:32Speaker 2: of them things he got.
- 3:33Speaker 5: No pronouns he ain't used to this new world he's
- 3:36Speaker 5: crazy yes.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Shout out to people that use pronouns. Shout out to them.
- 3:42Speaker 4: We all use pronouns, you weirdo. We all have a pronoun, bro.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Why do we have pronouns? What if we start having... Okay,
- 3:50Speaker 2: wait a minute now.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Honestly.
- 3:53Speaker 6: You are he.
- 3:54Speaker 4: You are him.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You are he. I'm she. But we know that if
- 3:59Speaker 1: you stare at me. So when we start highlighting it.
- 4:04Speaker 4: It's crazy.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I am black. You know.
- 4:06Speaker 8: So you've been sending emails your whole life.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Now all of a sudden it's at the bottom of it.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And they're like, yo. I got so confused. I understand.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I got so confused. We're at the Obama Center. And
- 4:19Speaker 2: they asked us to fill out our pronouns. And I
- 4:21Speaker 2: was like, what am I supposed to fill in here?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Keep praying for them. We're working on it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We're supposed to introduce ourselves.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And introduce yourself with your pronouns. Yes.
- 4:31Speaker 7: Tom's going to say, I ain't got none.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Oh, my God. He said that over there?
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:36Speaker 7: He said, my Tom, pronouns, I ain't got none. I'm
- 4:40Speaker 7: from the 70s.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I cannot.
- 4:41Speaker 7: And then he sat down. I said, well, he ain't
- 4:45Speaker 7: got none.
- 4:46Speaker 4: That is crazy.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I don't got none.
- 4:48Speaker 4: We're never getting anybody back.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And I mean no disrespect to people that use them.
- 4:53Speaker 2: If you want me to... address you however you want
- 4:55Speaker 2: me to address you. I'm going to call you what
- 4:56Speaker 2: you want me to call you. But I just, I
- 4:59Speaker 2: particularly don't understand it.
- 5:02Speaker 4: All right.
- 5:03Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:03Speaker 1: For myself.
- 5:04Speaker 4: He's just tone.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Okay. All right. Let's go ahead, man. Jump right to it.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Since we'll finish that story for those of the pie
- 5:11Speaker 2: fam that don't know. There was a racist incident that
- 5:15Speaker 2: happened between Lincoln Way East and HF at a football game. Now,
- 5:19Speaker 2: a second racist incident has been documented between Homeworld, Flossmoor,
- 5:24Speaker 2: and Lincoln Way East, and now the IHSA is now investigating.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Now, they say that Ryan, according to what he's saying,
- 5:34Speaker 1: sent a group text. Got any context?
- 5:37Speaker 5: Ryan and the group text. What did Ryan send us?
- 5:41Speaker 5: Ryder said he's at the door.
- 5:43Speaker 8: He said, hey, also, look into the Lincoln Way East
- 5:48Speaker 8: racist comments toward HF if you're not familiar with the story.
- 5:52Speaker 8: It's going national now. Oh, that's not the part I'm
- 5:55Speaker 8: supposed to read. Basically, he sent the videos. So for
- 6:02Speaker 8: those who don't know, there are videos, and you can
- 6:04Speaker 8: actually see a kid, a little white boy, making monkey
- 6:08Speaker 8: gestures towards black students, you know what I'm saying, in
- 6:11Speaker 8: these videos.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So it's bad out here. It's bad.
- 6:16Speaker 8: In 2026, this is something that we're still dealing with.
- 6:18Speaker 8: All of us who have played sports before have dealt
- 6:20Speaker 8: with The racist school. You already know when you go
- 6:22Speaker 8: into the racist school. When you're on the basketball field,
- 6:25Speaker 8: I'm in the basketball court or football field, you know
- 6:26Speaker 8: you're not going to get the calls. In certain schools
- 6:28Speaker 8: you play, you was like, we're not going to get
- 6:30Speaker 8: no calls.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We're going to get cheated. Even if we win, we
- 6:32Speaker 1: finna get cheated out here.
- 6:34Speaker 8: You know, certain competitions we used to have, even like
- 6:39Speaker 8: we ran certain meets and different things like that.
- 6:41Speaker 1: We knew we weren't going to get favorable lanes.
- 6:44Speaker 8: Anything that they had control over, you, in certain places
- 6:48Speaker 8: where you knew the racism was going to come in.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You knew it.
- 6:52Speaker 8: So I think it's sad that the kids still have
- 6:55Speaker 8: to deal with this in 2026. The one thing I
- 6:58Speaker 8: would say about it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Before we get to you, Kiki, is that it used
- 7:03Speaker 2: to be subtle.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So it was subtle, like Zach said. Subtle. You wouldn't
- 7:09Speaker 1: get a call. Ref would look the other way. You'd
- 7:12Speaker 1: be like, oh, okay, it's going to be one of them.
- 7:14Speaker 2: The players will say some stuff. Players are always going
- 7:16Speaker 2: to say stuff. People are going to say, in between
- 7:18Speaker 2: them lines, everybody's saying anything to get an edge.
- 7:22Speaker 1: They're saying things.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So when you say you hear some racist conversation, you
- 7:28Speaker 2: be like, that's just par for the course. But now
- 7:33Speaker 2: what it's become is become overt. People in the stands
- 7:37Speaker 2: are saying racist stuff. You got coaches saying racist stuff.
- 7:41Speaker 2: That you got, you know, it's just, it's real bad.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I was really upset. And I don't really think they gave,
- 7:48Speaker 2: they kind of quieted down. I was upset last year
- 7:51Speaker 2: when the University of Texas went in. I forgot what
- 7:53Speaker 2: school they were playing, but they beat the school.
- 7:56Speaker 1: They beat them.
- 7:57Speaker 2: And they were like, man, take your, get your monkeys
- 7:59Speaker 2: back to the projects.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Go this, go this.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And talking crazy about these black students because they was
- 8:03Speaker 2: mad because.
- 8:04Speaker 1: They got beat. So it's just, it's just unfortunate right now.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Yeah, it's sad.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I mean.
- 8:09Speaker 5: I think it's a sad sign of the state of
- 8:12Speaker 5: our country right now. Racist and racism, it has been
- 8:16Speaker 5: put back on a pedestal where at one point I
- 8:18Speaker 5: felt like we had leaders in our country that would
- 8:21Speaker 5: shame racism. And, you know, even despite what they may
- 8:24Speaker 5: have been going on behind closed doors, outwardly, they would all,
- 8:28Speaker 5: we all denounce racism. Everybody, it was like a united
- 8:31Speaker 5: front as America. And I just feel like we're in
- 8:33Speaker 5: a time right now where racism is, what's being represented
- 8:37Speaker 5: by our leaders, unfortunately. And so it's making people who
- 8:40Speaker 5: are racist feel extremely comfortable to be publicly racist and
- 8:44Speaker 5: to shout slurs and to say crazy things. And I
- 8:48Speaker 5: think it's so sad to see that in 2026, the
- 8:51Speaker 5: children are still, you know, they're taking after the people
- 8:55Speaker 5: before them and doing the same thing. It's like we
- 8:57Speaker 5: haven't evolved at all. We've actually taken so many steps back.
- 9:01Speaker 5: So I think that's what this is a sign of.
- 9:03Speaker 5: But I also think Now that, you know, they're so
- 9:06Speaker 5: bold with it, then I think the punishment needs to
- 9:08Speaker 5: be just as bold and they need to be held
- 9:10Speaker 5: accountable to the highest extent. My new thing with racism
- 9:14Speaker 5: and racist is I'm going to either embarrass you or
- 9:16Speaker 5: I'm going to completely ignore you. So because what it
- 9:19Speaker 5: like giving them attention gives them power and makes them
- 9:22Speaker 5: feel empowered to continue doing it. But at the same time,
- 9:25Speaker 5: sometimes you have to get in their ass and you
- 9:27Speaker 5: have to embarrass them and you have to put them
- 9:29Speaker 5: on front street. And so if you were bold enough
- 9:31Speaker 5: to get out on the field and make monkey gestures
- 9:33Speaker 5: in public, then I think you need to be on
- 9:35Speaker 5: the news.
- 9:36Speaker 4: You need to be at the school.
- 9:37Speaker 5: They need to put you at a press conference and
- 9:39Speaker 5: let you explain why you thought that was okay. Explain
- 9:42Speaker 5: why you do that. And most importantly, apologize to every
- 9:45Speaker 5: student that was on that field. Like it's unacceptable that
- 9:48Speaker 5: they felt that that was okay. And that, you know,
- 9:50Speaker 5: so many people, y'all even saying like, it's the norm.
- 9:53Speaker 5: It's what happens.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Well, it's time to nip it in the bud and
- 9:55Speaker 4: put it out there on front street.
- 9:57Speaker 5: So, And it's really revealing that this was not only,
- 10:01Speaker 5: that incident wasn't the only one that happened. There was
- 10:03Speaker 5: a second incident, allegedly, at the school, same school, with
- 10:06Speaker 5: a coach calling children monkeys that another athlete on their
- 10:10Speaker 5: team heard. And now that's on the Front Street too. So,
- 10:14Speaker 5: let's put the racist on front street. You want to
- 10:17Speaker 5: do monkey? You really the monkey. If we being real,
- 10:19Speaker 5: that's what you, you doing the clown shit. If we
- 10:21Speaker 5: being real, that's monkey behavior. You jumping up and down
- 10:24Speaker 5: and doing all that. You really the monkey, but let's
- 10:27Speaker 5: put it on front street since she was bold enough
- 10:29Speaker 5: to do it. So I think these children and the
- 10:30Speaker 5: staff and the parents, everybody need to be held accountable
- 10:33Speaker 5: at the highest extent.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 8: And I mean, and not just apologies. I won't expel.
- 10:40Speaker 8: I want people to get expelled. I want people not walking.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Not graduating.
- 10:44Speaker 8: You know, too many times, you know, people do these
- 10:46Speaker 8: things without consequence. You know, they get a little embarrassed
- 10:51Speaker 8: a little bit. They have to talk and say they're
- 10:52Speaker 8: sorry and continue on with their life. It needs to
- 10:54Speaker 8: be some consequences.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Some real consequences.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And the thing of it is, is just to me
- 11:00Speaker 2: and just from looking at it from a holistic point
- 11:03Speaker 2: of view, is that racism don't make sense to me anyway.
- 11:08Speaker 1: It don't make sense. If you're a racist, you're probably.
- 11:10Speaker 2: One of the dumbest people on the planet, in my opinion,
- 11:13Speaker 2: because you're getting tricked out of the system. The system
- 11:17Speaker 2: is tricking you to hate black people. It's tricking you.
- 11:21Speaker 2: It's tricking you.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's a system.
- 11:23Speaker 2: And I hate to say that there are days, but
- 11:24Speaker 2: there's days. But we pay the same price for gas.
- 11:27Speaker 2: We pay the same price for groceries. We say to
- 11:30Speaker 2: pay the same price for housing, rent.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Everything you do.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Everything in your entire life, we do.
- 11:39Speaker 2: We all paying the same thing, but you have been
- 11:41Speaker 2: tricked to hate black people.
- 11:43Speaker 1: For what?
- 11:44Speaker 2: You have been tricked to tell people that we are
- 11:46Speaker 2: the cause of certain things when we don't control shit.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Black people don't control shit. We don't control nothing, but
- 11:57Speaker 2: y'all mad at us for some reason, and we all
- 12:00Speaker 2: go pull up to that same gas station and pay
- 12:04Speaker 2: $ 100 every time we fill our car up. We get
- 12:07Speaker 2: groceries for $ 500 to feed our family.
- 12:10Speaker 1: We all live in check to check, and you mad
- 12:12Speaker 1: at black people.
- 12:14Speaker 2: That's what you got to think about. That's what you
- 12:16Speaker 2: really got to take it. You dumb it down, and
- 12:19Speaker 2: you mad over a sport. You mad over a sport.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I'm just going to be mad because they beating us
- 12:26Speaker 2: in sports. Let me get this off my frustration. The
- 12:28Speaker 2: frustration is not with us. It's with the system.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Racism is just lame and corny altogether. You could be
- 12:36Speaker 5: so much better in this world.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Yeah. You got so much better. I understand.
- 12:40Speaker 5: People fear our potential and fear what we're capable of.
- 12:44Speaker 5: They've been taught to keep us suppressed because they don't
- 12:46Speaker 5: want to know if we are allowed the same opportunities
- 12:50Speaker 5: and things like that, what we could achieve, but I
- 12:52Speaker 5: just think that's a terrible way to live. And I
- 12:54Speaker 5: would like to challenge every teacher and faculty member at
- 12:57Speaker 5: both schools to stand behind the students and support them
- 13:01Speaker 5: and not allow it as a community for those students
- 13:04Speaker 5: to just walk free or not be held accountable.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And we just need to get back to ass whoopers.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Whoop some ass. Sometimes you need to get your ass beat.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Some stuff, if you get punched in the face...
- 13:19Speaker 1: You might not say it no more.
- 13:20Speaker 4: That's true.
- 13:21Speaker 1: You'd be like, no, I probably shouldn't say that to them.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 8: Somebody needs to be allowed to jump up off that fence,
- 13:26Speaker 8: jump over that fence, and I'm going to show you, monkey.
- 13:29Speaker 8: I'm going to show you, monkey. Okay, I'm going to
- 13:31Speaker 8: show you. People do that when they feel safe. You know,
- 13:33Speaker 8: they know you can't get to them. Then they start
- 13:35Speaker 8: doing all that. You wouldn't have said that in front
- 13:37Speaker 8: of them.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Huh?
- 13:38Speaker 8: You ain't going to come over here down to 7-9
- 13:41Speaker 8: from Jeffrey and call nobody no more, monkey.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I guarantee you that. You see what happened to him?
- 13:45Speaker 1: You ain't going to do it.
- 13:46Speaker 7: You're not that bold.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You saw it.
- 13:47Speaker 2: You saw a dude, Chud DeBilly, who went and antagonized
- 13:50Speaker 2: black people.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And initially, now he's in jail. You saw it. It's
- 13:55Speaker 1: not being a racist.
- 13:56Speaker 2: It's probably the dumbest thing to do, bro.
- 13:57Speaker 1: You got more to do with your time.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Very cowardly.
- 14:00Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Janae, let's go ahead and move on, man, because we
- 14:03Speaker 2: can talk about that forever. And shout out to the
- 14:05Speaker 2: good people over there in Frankfurt and people that go.
- 14:08Speaker 2: They are good students that go to Lincoln Way East.
- 14:09Speaker 2: We don't want to down the whole community, but. Y'all
- 14:12Speaker 2: looking bad right now.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Every student that is not black, stand behind your black students,
- 14:17Speaker 5: your black classmates, and show.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Us you're good.
- 14:21Speaker 1: There it go. There it go. There it is.
- 14:22Speaker 4: There's no neutral in this.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Pick a side. There it is. I'm on that.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Jhené announces she's dropping her new album this Friday called
- 14:30Speaker 2: West Side Whimsy, her first album in six years.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Are you excited?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Yes. I love music from Jhené Aiko. Cannot wait for it.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 4: What?
- 14:45Speaker 3: What?
- 14:46Speaker 1: What, Tom? Why did you make that face? What face?
- 14:50Speaker 1: You made a face. I can't wait.
- 14:54Speaker 5: As an R & B guy, I feel like you
- 14:55Speaker 5: would be tapped in on Jhené.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I am an R & B guy, but I haven't.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm going to be honest with you.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I haven't really tapped in.
- 15:02Speaker 1: She's a vibe.
- 15:03Speaker 8: Once again, just because I don't know, don't mean it
- 15:06Speaker 8: ain't good.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I didn't say that.
- 15:07Speaker 8: Sometimes people think when I make my face is, And
- 15:10Speaker 8: when I'm not excited, they think that I'm dissing the artist.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I just ain't tapped in.
- 15:15Speaker 8: I haven't listened to Janae since the collab album with
- 15:18Speaker 8: her and Big Sean.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Okay. But that's it. I'm going to check it out.
- 15:25Speaker 1: But I know what I'm trying to tell y'all.
- 15:27Speaker 4: When your voice get high, you lying. You're not going
- 15:29Speaker 4: to check it out, by the way.
- 15:32Speaker 1: What do y'all be wanting me to do?
- 15:33Speaker 4: I'm just trying to tell you.
- 15:35Speaker 1: That's all.
- 15:36Speaker 8: I don't have anything bad to say about Jhené, and
- 15:38Speaker 8: I'm going to listen to it. Jhené' s coming out.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Cool.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You weren't excited about Jhené. How excited?
- 15:45Speaker 4: He said, I'm going to listen to it. I know
- 15:49Speaker 4: he's lying.
- 15:49Speaker 1: How'd he do it, Kiki?
- 15:51Speaker 4: I'm going to check it out.
- 15:56Speaker 5: But yes, Jhene Aiko. It's been a while. I feel
- 15:59Speaker 5: like we need it. So I love it.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Love it. Shout out to her. All right, man. How
- 16:04Speaker 1: about this?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Akon's Convict Entertainment is being sued for allegedly holding back
- 16:12Speaker 2: royalties from T-Pain at the amount of $ 500, 000 of those things.
- 16:18Speaker 4: My God.
- 16:19Speaker 7: So I went and.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Looked into this. What you find?
- 16:22Speaker 7: It's not, I think that this isn't as bad as
- 16:25Speaker 7: it sounds.
- 16:27Speaker 4: $ 500, 000 of my dollars?
- 16:29Speaker 1: You got? No, hear me out.
- 16:31Speaker 8: What I mean by that is when you hear suing,
- 16:34Speaker 8: you automatically think of some long, drawn-out legal battle of
- 16:38Speaker 8: somebody trying not to pay somebody. Oh, no, this is
- 16:40Speaker 8: a debt that wasn't paid. Yeah, this is just a
- 16:43Speaker 8: royalty that he— T- Pain wants his money. So T-Pain is aware
- 16:48Speaker 8: of about a million-something worth of royalties that was paid
- 16:51Speaker 8: from a different label to Convict, right?
- 16:54Speaker 1: This was paid of March of this year, 2026. He's
- 16:57Speaker 1: suing for it now. You know what I'm saying?
- 17:00Speaker 8: So it's like, and he had sued before. So I
- 17:03Speaker 8: just think this suit is just like, I ain't even
- 17:05Speaker 8: going to go through all that this time. I know
- 17:07Speaker 8: y'all got the money. So just go ahead and give
- 17:08Speaker 8: him my bread. And it's not, Akon's not listed on
- 17:13Speaker 8: the lawsuit. I think the suit is just to make
- 17:16Speaker 8: things get a little, just to speed things up a
- 17:18Speaker 8: little bit.
- 17:19Speaker 1: And I need my money. I need my royalties.
- 17:22Speaker 8: And I'm aware, just letting everybody know that I'm aware.
- 17:25Speaker 1: T-Pain ain't playing with people. That's it.
- 17:27Speaker 8: So sometimes, you know, people be like, oh, you know,
- 17:29Speaker 8: they ain't pay Wayne in 30 years or 20. The
- 17:32Speaker 8: money literally just got released this year, this year, March
- 17:36Speaker 8: of 2026.
- 17:36Speaker 1: They said allegedly it got paid in September. Right.
- 17:40Speaker 7: So it's not no long. He just and he just.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Got along that you got my money in March. It
- 17:47Speaker 5: take five minutes to send me a Zelle.
- 17:48Speaker 8: I'm saying compared to how some people who be doing
- 17:51Speaker 8: audits and then they sue companies like Jermaine Dupri's lawsuit.
- 17:55Speaker 8: He's going back from Mariah Carey.
- 17:57Speaker 1: From a whole... Yeah, yeah, yeah. What I'm saying is
- 17:59Speaker 1: this is still of this year. Okay.
- 18:01Speaker 8: Not saying it ain't important, but it ain't... T-Pain ain't
- 18:04Speaker 8: letting it go down that like that.
- 18:07Speaker 4: And he should not. T-Pain, in my opinion, deserves all
- 18:10Speaker 4: his things.
- 18:11Speaker 5: T-Pain came in his industry, gave us something... That we
- 18:15Speaker 5: had not experienced before.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:17Speaker 5: He made so many great songs and made so many
- 18:20Speaker 5: other people's songs great. Give T-Pain whatever he is due,
- 18:25Speaker 5: in my opinion.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's T-Pain.
- 18:27Speaker 2: You don't think Akon maybe was allegedly a little shady with.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Paying him all the time? Come on.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I don't.
- 18:35Speaker 4: And I don't want to.
- 18:35Speaker 1: The name of his label is Convict Music.
- 18:39Speaker 7: I'm not going to put that on.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I'm not going to be racist. It's all a legend.
- 18:42Speaker 8: I'm not going to be racist just because a black
- 18:44Speaker 8: man has convict music and expect him that he's not paying.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Like you said, we don't control shit. Now you're going
- 18:51Speaker 8: to put it on Akon? Well, I mean, you got
- 18:53Speaker 8: to control when people get paid if you sign to them.
- 18:56Speaker 7: No, but if he signs, you don't think he signs
- 18:57Speaker 7: to somebody else? You don't think it's nobody?
- 19:00Speaker 1: I'm just saying.
- 19:01Speaker 8: You think Akon is to that? Akon is not involved
- 19:04Speaker 8: in the lawsuit. Akon's name is not on the lawsuit
- 19:06Speaker 8: at all.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Akon owns convict music. I understand what it is.
- 19:10Speaker 4: He's trying to call Akon an African scammer.
- 19:12Speaker 5: That's what he's trying to do.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And that's crazy. Wait the goddamn minute. I'm not calling
- 19:21Speaker 2: him an African scammer.
- 19:22Speaker 1: That's crazy. I'm just saying.
- 19:24Speaker 2: You don't think it's some late payments involved with the name, allegedly,
- 19:28Speaker 2: of a company called Convict. You don't think it's a possibility.
- 19:31Speaker 2: that they're going to give you a late payment.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I don't give a damn if the name was Pepsi.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I still think it's a late payment. You know what
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm saying?
- 19:37Speaker 8: I just feel like you're trying to put a little,
- 19:39Speaker 8: you know, you say, dude, they be like, oh, 90, net, 30.
- 19:41Speaker 8: You done had them damn payments from these legitimate companies.
- 19:45Speaker 1: But they tell you net 30 and it's coming. Net 120.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You'd be like, come on, man. I need my money.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Nobody likes to pay, though, by the way. That's really
- 19:53Speaker 1: the thing.
- 19:53Speaker 4: What is it?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Nobody likes to pay. Facts. Nobody. Nobody likes to pay.
- 19:59Speaker 7: So don't put it on Akon because it's named convict.
- 20:02Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. I'm just saying.
- 20:03Speaker 4: No, that ain't why he did that.
- 20:05Speaker 1: No, I'm not.
- 20:06Speaker 8: He was trying to say that African scammer.
- 20:08Speaker 1: He a scammer. I was not trying to call him
- 20:10Speaker 1: an African scammer. I rock with Akon. You called him
- 20:13Speaker 1: an African booty scratcher. I heard you. Oh, no. Now,
- 20:15Speaker 1: you have gotten racist.
- 20:17Speaker 4: That is racist.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Y'all remember that? And we just announced that. Yes, I
- 20:21Speaker 1: do remember that.
- 20:21Speaker 4: I grew up in a house with all brothers.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Come on now.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Every day somebody was getting called an African booty scratcher.
- 20:26Speaker 5: That was like the ultimate diss back in the... In
- 20:30Speaker 5: the late 90s, early 2000s?
- 20:32Speaker 1: It was. Man, why can't it be an African booty scratcher?
- 20:35Speaker 1: That's crazy. Yes. Yes.
- 20:37Speaker 2: What?
- 20:38Speaker 4: Every dark-skinned person, unfortunately, probably has been called that.
- 20:41Speaker 1: And I was called that before. You never, never got
- 20:43Speaker 1: called that.
- 20:44Speaker 3: No.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Definitely. You never was.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You don't understand that level of discrimination. You don't understand
- 20:48Speaker 2: being called white by all black people.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'd rather be called white than an African booty scratcher.
- 20:52Speaker 1: That's a, Tone, you don't know because you white.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Huh?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Wait, what?
- 20:58Speaker 3: No, I'm not.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yes, you are. Look at you.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Then you know what got me, though? That was the
- 21:03Speaker 2: one thing. Shout out to whoever gave them to me.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I got chubby ankles. So I got.
- 21:08Speaker 1: They was like, you got ankles like white people. I
- 21:10Speaker 1: was like, no, I don't.
- 21:11Speaker 4: You have chubby ankles?
- 21:13Speaker 1: That is a random thing.
- 21:14Speaker 5: That is very random to learn. Also, did not know
- 21:16Speaker 5: that was a white thing, chubby ankles.
- 21:19Speaker 1: They were saying that back then. That was just.
- 21:21Speaker 4: I thought that was my culture.
- 21:26Speaker 1: But okay.
- 21:26Speaker 2: You're like, if y'all want it, y'all can have it.
- 21:30Speaker 1: We all in this together. I'm like, okay.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I ain't never heard that.
- 21:35Speaker 2: You brought back some childhood trauma.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Give T-Pain his things.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it is. And they're friends.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I don't know what they're friends.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I don't think they are.
- 21:47Speaker 5: I don't think T-Pain and his friends were many people
- 21:49Speaker 5: at this point in his career. He spoke out and said,
- 21:52Speaker 5: what did he say? Y'all ain't my brothers or whatever?
- 21:54Speaker 1: Nah, he did say that.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Yeah. He feels that way.
- 21:58Speaker 1: He did feel my call. I thought that was for Khaled.
- 22:00Speaker 4: I thought it was for all of them.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Oh, it might have been. That was 100% for Khaled.
- 22:03Speaker 1: That was for Khaled. Okay.
- 22:05Speaker 6: Allegedly.
- 22:07Speaker 2: That was for Khaled allegedly because he's like, my brother,
- 22:10Speaker 2: my brother, my brother.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We know Khaled says that a lot. And he's like, but.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Then when it's, I can't reach you. It's only when
- 22:17Speaker 2: you need something, it's my brother, my brother, my brother.
- 22:19Speaker 2: A lot of people come out and say the industry's fake.
- 22:22Speaker 2: But we did hear, if you've seen his clip, which
- 22:25Speaker 2: gives hope to T-Pain doing new music, he had a
- 22:29Speaker 2: clip of Skateboard P talking about, for real, talking about
- 22:33Speaker 2: how much he means to music and he needs to
- 22:37Speaker 2: start recording again.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Who said this?
- 22:40Speaker 1: For real.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Said that about T-Pain?
- 22:42Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree.
- 22:44Speaker 4: I agree.
- 22:44Speaker 5: But T-Pain has spoken out and basically said, like, I
- 22:47Speaker 5: make money playing video games and streaming in my house.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Y'all didn't really appreciate me in the music industry. So
- 22:52Speaker 5: why would I keep doing it? You know, he has
- 22:54Speaker 5: said that he has felt the way I looked up
- 22:57Speaker 5: his comment for Cali. He said basically on Club Shay Shay,
- 22:59Speaker 5: nobody in the music industry is your brother. And he
- 23:03Speaker 5: used Cali as the example. So I think T-Pain is just,
- 23:07Speaker 5: you know, you could do something. that you love and
- 23:10Speaker 5: you get slighted or play with so much that you
- 23:13Speaker 5: start resenting what you love to do.
- 23:16Speaker 4: And I think that might be the space. We've all
- 23:19Speaker 4: been there. Go ahead, brother. You can say amen if
- 23:21Speaker 4: you want to. That just took him to a place.
- 23:29Speaker 4: It happens. It happens in everybody's field.
- 23:31Speaker 5: But yeah, and I think that may be where, and
- 23:33Speaker 5: I'm not speaking for T-Pain, but I think that may
- 23:35Speaker 5: be where he kind of is coming from with music.
- 23:37Speaker 5: And we, T-Pain, just know we love you, baby. I
- 23:40Speaker 5: would love to see him on one of these tours, man.
- 23:41Speaker 8: I thought he was going to do his 20th anniversary tour.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to that. But I wanted
- 23:46Speaker 1: tickets to that. Because you remember, he stopped it.
- 23:47Speaker 7: He announced it, and then it just ended.
- 23:49Speaker 1: It ended.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 1: We're actually trying to get him for Tone Capone Day.
- 23:52Speaker 1: He was my number one. That would have been great.
- 23:54Speaker 2: He was my number one artist to try to get
- 23:56Speaker 2: for Tone Capone Day. That would have went nuts.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Come on, Payne.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I had songs.
- 24:00Speaker 2: And what it came from is I went to the Cousins.
- 24:04Speaker 2: They just had it over the weekend. In D.C.? The
- 24:05Speaker 2: Cousins Festival in Virginia.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Yeah. And I went last year. And I seen T-Pain perform.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I was like, oh, my God.
- 24:13Speaker 4: He's incredible.
- 24:14Speaker 1: This is crazy. Incredible. By himself.
- 24:17Speaker 4: It'd be like him and he just.
- 24:18Speaker 1: A LED screen and him.
- 24:20Speaker 4: And he dances. He's singing.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I was like, this is crazy.
- 24:24Speaker 4: He did Lollapalooza not too long ago.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yeah, packed it out.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Come on, Payne. Hit the millennium tour.
- 24:30Speaker 1: T-Pain's a superstar. Oh, yeah. He's a superstar. He is
- 24:33Speaker 1: 100% a superstar. And I understand why Pharrell won. Like, man, bro, like.
- 24:38Speaker 2: You got to at least do a little something because
- 24:40Speaker 2: music needs you, and it does. Jamie Foxx, speaking of,
- 24:43Speaker 2: do we need Jamie Foxx back in the comedy space?
- 24:47Speaker 1: I say yes. One of the most talented people we've
- 24:49Speaker 1: ever seen.
- 24:50Speaker 2: He announced a new comedy special called Take Care of Yourself.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Dropping on Hulu October 7th. I want to know if
- 24:56Speaker 2: she's going to address the no white woman thing again.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Jamie, stop lying to us.
- 25:01Speaker 1: You're playing in my face.
- 25:01Speaker 7: I don't know why y'all took that serious.
- 25:04Speaker 4: He's joking.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Can't say away from them white queens. Boy, them boys
- 25:06Speaker 1: love them. Yes, he does. He love them.
- 25:09Speaker 4: I want Jamie to get back on the big screen.
- 25:11Speaker 4: I want him in a movie.
- 25:13Speaker 5: I don't want him to keep doing these Netflix stand-up situations.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Excuse me?
- 25:18Speaker 5: I want Jamie back on the screen. I want a
- 25:20Speaker 5: big feature film focused about Jamie.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that.
- 25:26Speaker 2: The shows that he got on Netflix, by the way, though,
- 25:28Speaker 2: are all good.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Have you ever watched them?
- 25:33Speaker 5: I watched the first one for sure. I had been
- 25:35Speaker 5: looking for him. I had been looking for Jamie. They
- 25:37Speaker 5: said he was in Chicago. I was out here praying
- 25:39Speaker 5: for him. So when he popped up on Netflix, I
- 25:41Speaker 5: watched the special.
- 25:42Speaker 1: No, but he has three movies that are on Netflix. Oh, movies, movies.
- 25:47Speaker 1: He's got one with Cameron Diaz. It's really funny.
- 25:49Speaker 4: I heard that was great.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I heard that one was great. That's super funny. I did.
- 25:52Speaker 1: That was a big screen movie for you.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Well, I'll check it out.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Well, I'm going to too.
- 25:57Speaker 6: I'll check it out.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Like Zach. I'll watch it.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'm going to go home and watch it right now.
- 26:03Speaker 4: I love Jhene Aiko. My bad, Jamie. I just, Jamie is,
- 26:10Speaker 4: we only have one Jamie.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:12Speaker 4: In my opinion.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And he can only do so much.
- 26:14Speaker 5: But we only have one and I only want him
- 26:17Speaker 5: in the biggest spaces ever. Like I want, remember how
- 26:21Speaker 5: it was when he did Ray and when he did
- 26:24Speaker 5: Django and like, I just want him up there.
- 26:26Speaker 4: I just want that again. And that's all. I just
- 26:28Speaker 4: missed that.
- 26:28Speaker 1: That's it. Well, I love to see him coming to comedy.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Going back to his roots.
- 26:34Speaker 8: That's where he started. I need, I might need security.
- 26:36Speaker 8: It's probably still one of the best standup specials ever.
- 26:40Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 26:40Speaker 8: So he's super talented. And I like, I like to
- 26:42Speaker 8: see artists where they've hit the big stage. Like you said,
- 26:44Speaker 8: they've done the Raves, they've done the Jangos. But just
- 26:47Speaker 8: to go back to that craft that he loved, that
- 26:49Speaker 8: started everything. Without stand-up, we wouldn't have saw the other talents.
- 26:53Speaker 8: You know, he came in the game as a comic.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Living color, baby.
- 26:56Speaker 8: You know, came in the game as a comic. And
- 26:59Speaker 8: at this part of his career doing it, I want
- 27:01Speaker 8: to know what Jamie Foxx has to say about this
- 27:05Speaker 8: current world. See, a lot of times when you're in
- 27:09Speaker 8: these roles, he's such an... good actor, but, you know,
- 27:12Speaker 8: he's acting.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 8: What is Jamie's real thoughts right now? Like, what is
- 27:16Speaker 8: Jamie's insight on what's going on around him? He's always
- 27:20Speaker 8: been really good at bringing light to, you know, different
- 27:23Speaker 8: things that's going on.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So I want to see it. I can't wait.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Y'all want music from Jamie?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 1: But only if it's with Tank. Yes.
- 27:32Speaker 8: Only if it's with Tank. If it's not with Tank,
- 27:34Speaker 8: I don't want it. I want him and Tank in
- 27:36Speaker 8: the studio.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Absolutely. We need that.
- 27:40Speaker 2: All right, Sherri Shepherd, she's going to make history by
- 27:43Speaker 2: becoming the first woman to star as a genie in
- 27:46Speaker 2: Disney's Aladdin on Broadway.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Shout out to Sherri. Congratulations to her.
- 27:50Speaker 4: That's so lit, man.
- 27:52Speaker 5: I love watching Sherri Shepherd, just her journey and being
- 27:56Speaker 5: from Chicago and the way she just has been resilient
- 28:01Speaker 5: throughout her career and overcoming her terrible divorce and You know,
- 28:06Speaker 5: her son, I believe she dealt with autism or something. Like,
- 28:09Speaker 5: she just is a phenomenal woman. And she excels in
- 28:12Speaker 5: every role that they put her in. And I love
- 28:15Speaker 5: to watch it.
- 28:16Speaker 1: She's from Chicago. She's going to keep her job.
- 28:17Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. It's just different.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Black woman from Chicago.
- 28:23Speaker 5: She does stuff and does it well. Like, you know,
- 28:25Speaker 5: some people be in spaces they ain't got no business
- 28:27Speaker 5: being in. Like, you just doing something to get a check. No, Sherri,
- 28:30Speaker 5: you can bet on Sherri when you put her in
- 28:32Speaker 5: a role. She's going to excel at it.
- 28:34Speaker 1: She caught a raw deal. On the daytime show. Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Getting canceled. That was bogus. Sherry Keeper Check. Shepard.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:42Speaker 8: Nothing shows me that you a real star is when
- 28:45Speaker 8: they let go of something and you.
- 28:47Speaker 1: In something else. Yes. She's been that. That's true. You
- 28:50Speaker 1: know what I'm saying?
- 28:50Speaker 8: She doesn't stop. She in the next thing. And the
- 28:53Speaker 8: thing is, she started in stand-up as well. So I
- 28:57Speaker 8: just love to see comics, especially Chicago comics. You come
- 29:02Speaker 8: up in the game and you can't stop them. Did
- 29:04Speaker 8: she give you hope?
- 29:07Speaker 1: Hell yeah.
- 29:08Speaker 8: She just stopped and did a whole talk show, bro.
- 29:12Speaker 8: As a talk show host. Was doing stand-up, too. Now,
- 29:15Speaker 8: you know what I'm going to do? Be the first
- 29:16Speaker 8: woman genie on Broadway.
- 29:18Speaker 1: What are we talking about? Oh, she got something else.
- 29:20Speaker 1: That's cold. After Broadway, over with. There's something behind it.
- 29:23Speaker 1: That's cold. There's something else. Always. She's just a person
- 29:26Speaker 1: that keeps a check.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I know this is a heavy-glazed session on Sherri Shepherd
- 29:30Speaker 2: because we like Sherri Shepherd, so what?
- 29:32Speaker 4: These are my genuine feelings. I don't glaze on many people.
- 29:36Speaker 8: I don't think it's a glaze session. It's just like,
- 29:39Speaker 8: if you can't see greatness, you might not be able
- 29:41Speaker 8: to see it.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I rock with her. She cool.
- 29:43Speaker 2: And I met her a couple times, and she's just
- 29:47Speaker 2: a cool chick.
- 29:47Speaker 1: She's a cool chick. She's just like a very talented,
- 29:49Speaker 1: very cool person. Name another woman genie.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Yeah, Kate.
- 29:53Speaker 1: I'll wait. Kate? Yeah. I dream of genie.
- 29:56Speaker 5: What?
- 29:58Speaker 1: That was it. All right. Tone's first crush.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:05Speaker 4: I Dream of Jeannie.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's when he first introduced him to the white women.
- 30:10Speaker 1: He saw I.
- 30:11Speaker 8: Dream of Jeannie when he was 10 years old sitting
- 30:13Speaker 8: there like, he's on a black and white TV.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I Dream of Jeannie. It was on a black.
- 30:20Speaker 4: And white TV.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Eating a bologna sandwich.
- 30:22Speaker 7: At his granny house and saying, oh.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Yep. That's why Jamie grew up with all white women.
- 30:32Speaker 1: He grew up watching white women on TV, and that's...
- 30:35Speaker 1: Come on. He did. He probably did.
- 30:37Speaker 2: It's tough for us as born around that time.
- 30:42Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Let's go ahead. Meg's being
- 30:47Speaker 1: a black woman, man. Let's get to this.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Megan Good shares an emotional tribute to Jonathan Majors for
- 30:53Speaker 2: his 37th birthday, even calling him Her Martin. And she
- 30:58Speaker 2: also said how much he changed her life. And, you know,
- 31:02Speaker 2: it's a blessing. And it was a lot in there.
- 31:05Speaker 2: That was an open letter.
- 31:06Speaker 1: That was a lot.
- 31:07Speaker 5: I know he got some good stuff. She been crying
- 31:10Speaker 5: since she got with him. Like, every time he turn around,
- 31:13Speaker 5: they crying together.
- 31:14Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Mega good.
- 31:16Speaker 4: She love that man.
- 31:17Speaker 1: She do.
- 31:17Speaker 5: She love him down. She went to court with him
- 31:20Speaker 5: for a whole nother chick. And now she on his
- 31:22Speaker 5: thing and his prey. Like, he be putting it to Jonathan.
- 31:26Speaker 5: Shout out to you, brother.
- 31:27Speaker 4: He putting her through the mattress.
- 31:30Speaker 1: He putting her through there, baby.
- 31:32Speaker 4: He taking her through there.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I know what I see.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I be like, my girl. She is, man.
- 31:39Speaker 1: He said, I know what I see. Man, look.
- 31:42Speaker 4: Go ahead, girl. That's your Martin. I know that's right.
- 31:46Speaker 1: When you call me a civil rights leader, you got
- 31:48Speaker 1: to be putting down pipe. I thought, oh, I thought
- 31:52Speaker 1: she was talking about Bart, like Martin and Gina. No, like,
- 31:55Speaker 1: you remember he called her Coretta?
- 31:56Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Why would she call him Martin? I don't know.
- 32:00Speaker 7: You thought he was talking about Martin and Ma, man.
- 32:07Speaker 1: No.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Hey, I need to get a check for you.
- 32:10Speaker 1: My Lord. What is wrong with you? I thought she
- 32:13Speaker 1: was talking about, I'm Gina and Martin, Martin and Ma.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Oh.
- 32:18Speaker 1: He did call her Coretta. He did.
- 32:19Speaker 7: He called her Coretta.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Oh, she said, that's my mom. It's a lot up here, man. Oh,
- 32:23Speaker 1: my God. That's my mom. I don't know.
- 32:24Speaker 4: I don't know if it's a lot up here.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 32:29Speaker 4: I got to use that, though, in my wedding vows.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Y'all going to be so irritated.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I swear, if you call her mom, I'll be like, girl. Man, what?
- 32:35Speaker 1: Don't do that. Don't you do it.
- 32:37Speaker 4: I'm doing it just to do it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Please.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I do not want to get you laughing.
- 32:44Speaker 6: I don't.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I don't.
- 32:46Speaker 2: I'm going to be like, I will yell out, you
- 32:48Speaker 2: played too much.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I'm going to yell out, she mean Luther King. Yes.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Like, I found my Martin, my Barack.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 32:57Speaker 1: My Malcolm. She wouldn't even be able to get through that.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Because she's going to make herself laugh. She's going to
- 33:03Speaker 1: make herself laugh. You can't laugh. You please, for God's sake.
- 33:08Speaker 7: My Russell.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I got to use.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 33:10Speaker 1: My Russell. Do not go up there. My staff. And
- 33:14Speaker 1: crack jokes, G. I need to be serious. I'm going
- 33:17Speaker 1: to fall out. I'm going to fall out, dog. I
- 33:21Speaker 1: heard that I'm going to fall out. But the thing
- 33:23Speaker 1: about it, though, Zach, you need Megan Good's love.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Like, Megan Good, when she is in a relationship and
- 33:33Speaker 2: she's married, She did this for her past marriage.
- 33:36Speaker 1: When she love you, she love you.
- 33:38Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 33:39Speaker 1: She love you. You need making good kind of love. No,
- 33:41Speaker 1: for real.
- 33:41Speaker 8: If your woman don't love you like making love, like,
- 33:44Speaker 8: you know, you should side eye her.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:46Speaker 1: You should side eye your woman. Call me a civil
- 33:49Speaker 1: rights leader.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Has your woman ever written you an open letter?
- 33:54Speaker 1: Anybody in your life? Well, you know, I get.
- 33:57Speaker 4: He write open letters.
- 33:58Speaker 1: First of all, you know I get love, though.
- 34:00Speaker 3: You do.
- 34:00Speaker 4: He write the letters, though.
- 34:01Speaker 1: You know, I... No, he definitely do.
- 34:04Speaker 4: I seen him in the studio one time writing a letter.
- 34:06Speaker 1: He ain't never seen me in the studio writing a letter.
- 34:08Speaker 4: He had a feather pen.
- 34:11Speaker 8: He's thinking of a master plan. Hey, but let me
- 34:16Speaker 8: tell you, I'm going to tell you a player move
- 34:18Speaker 8: I used to do.
- 34:19Speaker 2: See?
- 34:20Speaker 1: It's player.
- 34:25Speaker 4: No, I can't even say that. No, tell us.
- 34:27Speaker 1: We already here. Tell us. I can't, I can't, I can't,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I can't unleash that. Can't believe Steph. All right. It's
- 34:35Speaker 1: a safe space. All right.
- 34:38Speaker 8: So, like, when I was dating, I always told y'all, like,
- 34:41Speaker 8: it ain't what you do, it's how you do it, right?
- 34:44Speaker 1: So I would do this thing.
- 34:47Speaker 8: Either I would get them, like, if chicks came and
- 34:49Speaker 8: saw me for the weekend, I would get them flowers.
- 34:52Speaker 1: You get two dozen roses, put it together, right? Make
- 34:55Speaker 1: it big so it's a big bouquet.
- 34:57Speaker 8: And then I would either do, I would either give
- 34:58Speaker 8: it to you when you first got there or when
- 35:00Speaker 8: you leaving. And on it, then I would get the
- 35:02Speaker 8: blank notes, the blank cards, and I would either thank
- 35:07Speaker 8: you for, you know, spending time with me over this
- 35:09Speaker 8: weekend and sitting off with the flowers or thank them
- 35:13Speaker 8: for coming with it.
- 35:15Speaker 1: And it was work.
- 35:19Speaker 4: That works.
- 35:20Speaker 8: And I got that from my boy Lowell. He was like, bro,
- 35:22Speaker 8: you got to write the letter. I was like, he said,
- 35:24Speaker 8: you got to get the blank. He said, no, go
- 35:25Speaker 8: to the section, get the blank ones.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh, this is different.
- 35:29Speaker 4: That's why y'all stay getting caught up, though, because y'all
- 35:31Speaker 4: ain't writing letters.
- 35:33Speaker 1: It's romantic.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Y'all sending texts and voice notes.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You need to get back to writing letters.
- 35:36Speaker 2: A woman comes and visits me, and when she's leaving
- 35:41Speaker 2: and when she gets there, I'm dropping some D off
- 35:43Speaker 2: when she gets there.
- 35:45Speaker 1: When she leaves, I'm dropping some D off. You think
- 35:47Speaker 1: I am? Okay. That's why I thank you. I know y'all.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I'm just saying I got to maybe add that.
- 35:54Speaker 7: I understand that you're doing that, but guess what?
- 35:56Speaker 1: Everybody can drop Ds. That's right.
- 35:58Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying?
- 36:00Speaker 1: It ain't cost me nothing but to do that. Now I...
- 36:03Speaker 1: And there's no trace. Now she buying her own tickets.
- 36:05Speaker 4: It ain't traceable.
- 36:09Speaker 1: So you... Okay. All right, I'm not going to.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Tell me you had to cheat in peace. Damn. Write
- 36:15Speaker 4: a letter.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Okay, all right. Cheating in peace is crazy. I don't
- 36:21Speaker 1: believe in cheating. I don't either.
- 36:22Speaker 4: I know, right?
- 36:22Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I don't. I believe in having.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Y'all voices finna get high in a minute.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Kiki, you date until you find your one.
- 36:30Speaker 4: You know, I've been preaching that. Single till married, baby.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I learned that from you.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Technically single. What you put on your taxes?
- 36:41Speaker 1: We don't know what you're going to put on your taxes.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Are you there, Mike?
- 36:45Speaker 8: I don't know what you got going on with the
- 36:48Speaker 8: legal system over there.
- 36:50Speaker 1: She's going to be all married. Hold on. Hold on.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Hold on. Let me see that.
- 36:56Speaker 8: Hey, baby, let me see that form real quick.
- 37:03Speaker 5: What do the cheetahs say? They be like, I don't
- 37:05Speaker 5: want to put the government in my business.
- 37:06Speaker 7: Those are cheetahs and broke people.
- 37:10Speaker 1: They get so religious. When you broke, you're like, I
- 37:14Speaker 1: don't believe in all that.
- 37:15Speaker 7: No, you just ain't got it.
- 37:16Speaker 4: It's a spiritual.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it gets spiritual.
- 37:18Speaker 4: Y'all wild.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Let's get broken spiritual. All right, thoughts on Wimbledon.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Saying it's going to put a limit on influences due
- 37:27Speaker 2: to the U.S. Open disruptions while recording loud TikTok content.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Yeah, they've been wilding at the U.S.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Open.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Yeah, you got to know how to act when you
- 37:35Speaker 5: go somewhere. When you go somewhere new, and I don't
- 37:38Speaker 5: think that they should stop it. I think they should
- 37:41Speaker 5: train or speak to the influences before they take them
- 37:43Speaker 5: in those settings but um when even this is just
- 37:47Speaker 5: for everyday life children if you are ever going into
- 37:50Speaker 5: a space you're unfamiliar with or you're there for the
- 37:52Speaker 5: first time sit down and see what everybody else is
- 37:55Speaker 5: doing act like everybody else if you don't see everybody
- 37:59Speaker 5: else up selfies doing sit your ass now okay and
- 38:03Speaker 5: then wait and figure out how you can get your
- 38:04Speaker 5: content but to go up in these people establishment and
- 38:07Speaker 5: just be wilding is crazy work especially as adults read
- 38:10Speaker 5: the room Act like you've been somewhere before.
- 38:12Speaker 8: I agree with you, Kiki, but I'm going to give
- 38:14Speaker 8: the influencers a little, you know, I'm going to give
- 38:17Speaker 8: them a little grace.
- 38:18Speaker 1: One, I'm going to a live sporting event. You know
- 38:20Speaker 1: what I'm saying?
- 38:21Speaker 8: I thought live, if you don't know, I thought live
- 38:24Speaker 8: sporting events was loud. I went to football games. I
- 38:27Speaker 8: went to basketball games. Ain't nobody ever told you you
- 38:28Speaker 8: couldn't do nothing. You hired me as an influencer. So
- 38:32Speaker 8: I think that you have some idea of the type
- 38:34Speaker 8: of content that I do. So if you hire me
- 38:37Speaker 8: to be an influencer and I show up in an influencer,
- 38:40Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying? I don't think that you
- 38:41Speaker 8: expect me to act like the people there because that's
- 38:43Speaker 8: why you hired me to come here to liven this
- 38:46Speaker 8: thing up. That's what I'm just saying, what you could
- 38:48Speaker 8: possibly be thinking. It's like I'm here to do my
- 38:51Speaker 8: influence thing. I've done doing TikToks and this dance and
- 38:55Speaker 8: stuff that I'm doing got me this position.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 38:58Speaker 1: So I think that they need to do is one,
- 39:01Speaker 1: give them the rules.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 39:03Speaker 8: And then to give them a room to be influencers
- 39:06Speaker 8: in that doesn't.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Interrupt with the game.
- 39:08Speaker 8: But to just automatically, I don't think it's cool for
- 39:11Speaker 8: them to mess up the first time. I think that
- 39:13Speaker 8: was a learning experience for both sides. And then just
- 39:15Speaker 8: be like, oh, we ain't doing influencers no more.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I don't think that's it because they're drawing attention to
- 39:18Speaker 1: the game.
- 39:19Speaker 8: Now that we know, here's the rules, here's the guidelines,
- 39:22Speaker 8: and here's where you can do all the influencer stuff
- 39:25Speaker 8: you can do. But this first time was a trial run.
- 39:27Speaker 8: I think Wimbledon bogus to just be like, oh, we
- 39:29Speaker 8: ain't doing it no more.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Well, Wimbledon is putting a limit on it because of
- 39:34Speaker 2: what's happening at the U.S.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Open.
- 39:36Speaker 2: So they looking at the U.S. Open like, nah, we
- 39:40Speaker 2: ain't going to do that. And all this was was,
- 39:42Speaker 2: I can tell you what this was.
- 39:43Speaker 1: This has.
- 39:44Speaker 2: hey, we got to do something young and keep the
- 39:48Speaker 2: game and keep it energized, get on social media, and
- 39:50Speaker 2: they got a social media strategist. We need to hire
- 39:53Speaker 2: these influencers. And they came in and did what influencers do.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Guarantee you, the U.S. Open, they're not doing it again,
- 40:02Speaker 2: or they definitely going to give them the rules and regulations,
- 40:05Speaker 2: or they will kindly be asked to leave.
- 40:07Speaker 1: This ain't it.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Because I can tell you, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open
- 40:11Speaker 2: ain't never had a problem selling tickets and never will.
- 40:14Speaker 2: It will always, with or without influencers, it will sell out.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Somebody convinced from the social media team, convinced them they
- 40:25Speaker 2: needed them to try to have more people, young people,
- 40:28Speaker 2: talk about the game and spread it.
- 40:29Speaker 1: The U.S.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Open in Wimbledon is just that tennis circuit, that tennis
- 40:35Speaker 2: culture ain't going nowhere.
- 40:37Speaker 1: It's going to always sell out. You do got to
- 40:38Speaker 1: be quiet. You got to be quiet.
- 40:41Speaker 4: Read the room.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Like Kiki said.
- 40:44Speaker 2: That's like going to, I mean, golf courses. There's certain
- 40:47Speaker 2: ways that you have to act at golf courses. You
- 40:50Speaker 2: could have some fun and hang out. Some golf courses
- 40:53Speaker 2: allow that, but some country clubs have very strict rules
- 40:57Speaker 2: because it's member-based. And if you go watch a PGA,
- 41:01Speaker 2: those are another set of rules.
- 41:03Speaker 8: So they were probably sitting there. They've been in there quiet.
- 41:08Speaker 8: What are we supposed to do? I think we're supposed
- 41:10Speaker 8: to do.
- 41:10Speaker 1: That's on the brand.
- 41:12Speaker 5: Whatever brand brought them there is supposed to give them
- 41:14Speaker 5: the rundown of what's expected or whatever or what to do.
- 41:18Speaker 5: But to Tom's point, it's probably some person that don't
- 41:20Speaker 5: really know that's even running the brand's point of view.
- 41:23Speaker 5: And so it's a learning experience for all people. But
- 41:25Speaker 5: just as normal adults, if you are in a new space,
- 41:29Speaker 5: read the room.
- 41:30Speaker 4: We got to get back to reading the room. People
- 41:32Speaker 4: don't know how to read the room.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 41:33Speaker 5: And it's a, it's a, it's a skill that is
- 41:35Speaker 5: very special. And I thank God my mom and them
- 41:38Speaker 5: taught me that. Read the room.
- 41:39Speaker 1: When I saw, that's an actual skill.
- 41:41Speaker 2: It is.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Because some people literally don't have that. When I saw
- 41:43Speaker 1: that white man hand in his head, face, and he
- 41:46Speaker 1: was turning.
- 41:46Speaker 8: Red while they was doing all that, I would have
- 41:49Speaker 8: been like, hey, you don't see everybody else looking at
- 41:50Speaker 8: us crazy?
- 41:52Speaker 1: But they just be so in their own world. Zach,
- 41:57Speaker 1: you got a point, but it's just, Because I got
- 41:59Speaker 1: one of them. I got one of them in real life.
- 42:03Speaker 2: And the first thing they're going to tell you is
- 42:06Speaker 2: I'm grown and I can do what.
- 42:07Speaker 1: I want to do.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And then you try to say, well, not really. But
- 42:15Speaker 2: they don't understand. Well, until you get consequences.
- 42:18Speaker 8: That's why you got to let life teach them once
- 42:20Speaker 8: they get that age. Because that's the only thing that's
- 42:22Speaker 8: going to teach them. All right, let's go ahead and
- 42:24Speaker 8: get to this.
- 42:26Speaker 2: What are certain things you start to do when you
- 42:29Speaker 2: really like someone?
- 42:32Speaker 1: When I really like someone? I hope so.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Call.
- 42:35Speaker 4: Call.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Call all the time. A lot of calls. For me.
- 42:39Speaker 4: I ain't like nobody in so long.
- 42:42Speaker 8: What?
- 42:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. He locked in. What did you
- 42:44Speaker 1: start doing.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Gangster. What did you start doing? How did you get him?
- 42:54Speaker 1: What is he.
- 42:56Speaker 4: Getting out of this?
- 43:02Speaker 1: Well, yeah. I mean, I got him. It wasn't really much.
- 43:05Speaker 1: He just... Here, here, here. Put this right here. Boy.
- 43:12Speaker 5: What do you mean, what is he getting?
- 43:14Speaker 4: He's getting an angel.
- 43:16Speaker 1: What?
- 43:17Speaker 4: Are you kidding me? He's not getting a gangster. He
- 43:20Speaker 4: is the gangster. He's getting an angel. But, like, when
- 43:23Speaker 4: we got together, I mean.
- 43:26Speaker 4: I don't know, y'all. It just be like, I like you,
- 43:29Speaker 4: you like me.
- 43:29Speaker 1: No, Kiki.
- 43:30Speaker 4: We live together.
- 43:31Speaker 1: What made you, what on a God, for God's sake.
- 43:34Speaker 4: That's really how my life works.
- 43:35Speaker 1: This is how we pull a teeth. What did you
- 43:40Speaker 1: start doing?
- 43:40Speaker 2: You was like, oh, I know I like him because
- 43:43Speaker 2: I'm doing this.
- 43:52Speaker 4: I'm finding it. I just like, I don't know. God.
- 44:00Speaker 5: What am I supposed to do other than just, like, vibe?
- 44:03Speaker 3: I'm not. What?
- 44:05Speaker 4: We go together.
- 44:06Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying? Like.
- 44:08Speaker 1: No.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 44:09Speaker 8: No.
- 44:09Speaker 1: We go together.
- 44:11Speaker 2: There is a space before go together. It's, hey, me
- 44:15Speaker 2: and Tim started talking. We've been talking to each other
- 44:17Speaker 2: on the phone. All of a sudden, you notice you
- 44:20Speaker 2: calling Tim a little bit more. You want to see
- 44:22Speaker 2: him a little bit.
- 44:22Speaker 1: It's always that. That's not how I do it. They
- 44:25Speaker 1: start doing it.
- 44:26Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. That was it.
- 44:33Speaker 1: After that, they like, well, we together.
- 44:35Speaker 6: We together.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Like, you know what I'm saying?
- 44:37Speaker 1: Like, I don't know.
- 44:38Speaker 5: I've been doing this almost my whole life. Like, we
- 44:41Speaker 5: go together. And for me, it's really no in between that.
- 44:44Speaker 5: It ain't too much of a like period with me. Like,
- 44:47Speaker 5: we go together and we live together.
- 44:49Speaker 4: And now we getting married. That's it.
- 44:53Speaker 1: That's it. Okay. All right, Zach, what about you, dog?
- 44:55Speaker 1: That's so funny. It's like pulling teeth over there.
- 44:57Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 44:58Speaker 1: He's like, I don't know. What do I start to
- 45:02Speaker 1: do when I like you? I mean, I just more.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Why did you say it like that?
- 45:06Speaker 8: Because you have to ask questions like that sometimes. Just
- 45:09Speaker 8: being more, being, being more attentive. Like, like that's when
- 45:12Speaker 8: I start the flowers and you know what I'm saying?
- 45:14Speaker 1: Just making sure I take you out, taking you out,
- 45:17Speaker 1: different things like that. That's what I, I really like you.
- 45:21Speaker 8: Like wanting to be around you. I can do, Like,
- 45:23Speaker 8: when I can do nothing around you, that's when I know, like.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I really like you. Like, I want you in my
- 45:30Speaker 1: chill space.
- 45:31Speaker 8: If I'm chilling and I want you there and we
- 45:34Speaker 8: ain't got to be doing nothing, we just be sitting
- 45:35Speaker 8: there laying there, that means I like you.
- 45:37Speaker 1: But don't you start sending flowers and calling? Because that
- 45:39Speaker 1: is very irritating if I don't like you.
- 45:41Speaker 4: You send texts, you call, you send flowers.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 45:45Speaker 4: So say that, right?
- 45:48Speaker 1: No, Kiki, that don't mean I like you.
- 45:51Speaker 4: Oh, that mean you trying to.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm trying to get you.
- 45:53Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Y'all hear that?
- 45:55Speaker 4: Yeah, you got to watch. You hear that?
- 45:57Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 45:59Speaker 4: You sending flowers to people you don't even like for real.
- 46:02Speaker 1: That's just a part of the program. That's wild. Everybody
- 46:06Speaker 1: got the program. Everybody got a play they run. You
- 46:09Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? Every man run a play.
- 46:11Speaker 4: You see why? That's why I only give my box
- 46:13Speaker 4: to men that live with me. You know what I'm saying?
- 46:15Speaker 4: Either we locked in or we ain't. I don't got
- 46:17Speaker 4: time for this, man.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Every man has run. Your brothers run plays.
- 46:20Speaker 4: My brothers are married. You sending me flowers.
- 46:22Speaker 1: They ran a play before they got married.
- 46:24Speaker 5: Making me think you like me. And the whole time,
- 46:26Speaker 5: you don't even like me. You just trying to get
- 46:28Speaker 5: the woman. Sometimes, I got to see the thing about.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Women. Come on. You got to get them to like you.
- 46:34Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 46:35Speaker 1: So what I'm trying to say is, how do you
- 46:37Speaker 1: make yourself stand out?
- 46:38Speaker 7: Every dude does it.
- 46:39Speaker 8: Mine may be flowers and stuff, but some dudes be like, oh,
- 46:42Speaker 8: I'm getting ready to take her here.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm going to this restaurant and different things. It's courting, basically.
- 46:47Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? So within that process, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 46:51Speaker 8: I don't know if I like you, like you for
- 46:53Speaker 8: real until it's my free time.
- 46:56Speaker 1: It's Sunday. I'm laying down.
- 46:58Speaker 8: Anna, I want you to come over here and just
- 46:59Speaker 8: lay here and watch TV with me. That means I
- 47:02Speaker 8: like you for real.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Because if I don't, that is going to irritate the
- 47:06Speaker 1: hell out of me.
- 47:06Speaker 4: That's true.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Why are you next to me? That's true. So you
- 47:09Speaker 1: ain't got nothing to do? Yep. You be like, huh.
- 47:11Speaker 8: When a woman can just be in your space and
- 47:14Speaker 8: not get on your nerves, you like her.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Yep. That is it. For real. You like her for real.
- 47:19Speaker 1: I'm agree with that.
- 47:20Speaker 2: To the playbook, a female pod fam, a male pod
- 47:24Speaker 2: fam definitely understand.
- 47:26Speaker 1: It's too hard to come up with a new... New
- 47:28Speaker 1: way to court.
- 47:29Speaker 2: We can't personalize the playbook for each woman we're dating.
- 47:37Speaker 2: We come up with a playbook. It's usually like, Zach, flowers, this, that,
- 47:42Speaker 2: and the other. For me, it's restaurants, drinks. It's like
- 47:46Speaker 2: that play. We're going to great restaurants. We're going to
- 47:48Speaker 2: have great cocktails. And then in that midst of courting,
- 47:52Speaker 2: I decide.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Or you decide.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Right. How we decide if we're going to start hanging
- 47:57Speaker 2: out with you. For me, I'm calling you more and
- 47:59Speaker 2: I tell you what I'm thinking, like what's bothering me,
- 48:02Speaker 2: what's on my mind. If I start communicating with people
- 48:06Speaker 2: like that, then I rock with you.
- 48:08Speaker 1: And especially if I call you a lot.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Like if I call you when I'm done with work,
- 48:13Speaker 2: before I go to work, if I'm calling you a lot,
- 48:18Speaker 2: it's a real life. And then sometimes there's some people
- 48:21Speaker 2: that you talk to Do tags, so you'll see on the,
- 48:27Speaker 2: you like them.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Anybody in my, if you will get to my house,
- 48:29Speaker 1: I like you. Okay. Well. Why'd you look like that?
- 48:33Speaker 4: Because I'm just, I'm, hey, hey.
- 48:37Speaker 1: You just.
- 48:37Speaker 4: You're a likable guy, and I feel like you like
- 48:40Speaker 4: a lot of people.
- 48:42Speaker 1: When he said the house part, that's what I was like.
- 48:46Speaker 7: Yeah, like, okay.
- 48:47Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure. Right. I know. I know. I can't
- 48:53Speaker 1: speak for you. That has people in my house I
- 48:54Speaker 1: don't like. That has women in my house I cannot stand.
- 49:02Speaker 4: Huh.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I'm not saying that. I remember I dated this chick
- 49:04Speaker 1: in college. I thought I wanted her so bad.
- 49:10Speaker 8: You know, once I finally got what I was trying
- 49:12Speaker 8: to get, I couldn't stand her ass. I knew I
- 49:16Speaker 8: didn't like her within the courting process, but I was too.
- 49:20Speaker 1: deep in. I was like, I got to see it through.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I done went through this much. That's a young Zach. Yeah.
- 49:26Speaker 8: You had to get to the finish line. I had
- 49:28Speaker 8: to get to the finish line. But you know how
- 49:30Speaker 8: many bad conversations.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I have sat through?
- 49:32Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 49:33Speaker 8: To get to the other side. All guys have done it.
- 49:36Speaker 8: You don't have any terrible things. We be like, huh,
- 49:38Speaker 8: I can't stare. That don't mean I like you. And
- 49:40Speaker 8: that's the thing. Here's what women have to realize. Because
- 49:43Speaker 8: women will be like, these dudes own me. They own me. No,
- 49:48Speaker 8: they're running their play. Like every dude has a different play.
- 49:52Speaker 8: So they just run and they play on you. That
- 49:54Speaker 8: don't mean that they really like you. So when girls
- 49:57Speaker 8: mistake dudes running they play for options, they're not valuable.
- 50:00Speaker 8: Those aren't For real options. Those are just dudes running
- 50:04Speaker 8: their play. They don't even know if they like you yet.
- 50:06Speaker 1: See?
- 50:06Speaker 7: And you think that you the one.
- 50:08Speaker 4: Because he done wrote you a handwritten letter and gave
- 50:10Speaker 4: you some flowers.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Now listen.
- 50:14Speaker 5: You just told me and told us the play.
- 50:18Speaker 8: So ladies, keep that in mind. They don't like you.
- 50:22Speaker 8: But that don't mean I don't like you either.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 50:25Speaker 4: You trying to figure out if you do. That's all.
- 50:28Speaker 4: But to women.
- 50:30Speaker 5: When a man goes above and beyond like that, we
- 50:32Speaker 5: instantly think, he loves me. When you put heart, you know, ZB,
- 50:39Speaker 5: they like, oh.
- 50:40Speaker 4: My God, he loves me. The whole time, you don't
- 50:43Speaker 4: even like the chick.
- 50:47Speaker 3: See?
- 50:47Speaker 1: I don't do that. I don't love bomb.
- 50:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't do that.
- 50:49Speaker 1: I don't love bomb. I want you around.
- 50:53Speaker 2: If I start wanting you around, but then the thing about,
- 50:56Speaker 2: the only thing is, I do have a I just
- 50:59Speaker 2: think I'm being a gentleman. My toxic flaw is when
- 51:03Speaker 2: I'm early liking you and you do something crazy or weird, it.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Goes away very fast.
- 51:10Speaker 2: It goes away very fast because I'm triggered by a
- 51:13Speaker 2: relationship that I had that showed those signs, and it's
- 51:17Speaker 2: the worst relationship I've ever been in my life. So
- 51:20Speaker 2: whenever you show a crazy sign, I'm like, oh, got
- 51:23Speaker 2: to go.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Yep, get out of there quick.
- 51:25Speaker 1: I get it. Yeah, you got to go.
- 51:27Speaker 8: But I just, I don't think, I think he trying
- 51:28Speaker 8: to say it like I'm just love bombing. No, I'm
- 51:30Speaker 8: just really a gentleman.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Okay. I just want y'all to know that.
- 51:35Speaker 8: In those days, I was just a- I didn't use
- 51:37Speaker 8: the word love bombing. Somebody else- Tone did. Tone, yeah,
- 51:39Speaker 8: I don't love bombing.
- 51:40Speaker 1: No, just being a gentleman.
- 51:42Speaker 8: Because one day, because women going to say, oh, you
- 51:45Speaker 8: should come to the date with Flower.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Then how do, if I'm coming to my first date,
- 51:50Speaker 1: you know I don't know if I like you yet.
- 51:52Speaker 4: That's true.
- 51:53Speaker 1: So which one is it?
- 51:54Speaker 8: Is it love bombing or did you just create a
- 51:56Speaker 8: story in your head because I was nice?
- 51:59Speaker 4: Put it back on the woman.
- 52:00Speaker 1: It's, you know, Kiki.
- 52:04Speaker 4: If you write me a love letter and.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Sign it ZB. Who said a love letter? It was
- 52:08Speaker 1: a thank you note.
- 52:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Well, thank you.
- 52:10Speaker 7: Now if I'm confessing my love, that's different.
- 52:12Speaker 4: What you putting in the note?
- 52:13Speaker 1: Thank you for spending this weekend with me.
- 52:15Speaker 4: Do you put a heart in there?
- 52:16Speaker 1: I appreciate it. You put a heart in there?
- 52:18Speaker 4: You probably kissed the note.
- 52:20Speaker 3: No.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Spray it with cologne. Brandon with some cologne.
- 52:25Speaker 4: He put his little Carmex on, like, and then spread
- 52:28Speaker 4: with it.
- 52:30Speaker 1: That's nasty.
- 52:30Speaker 4: And then be like, I don't know why she think
- 52:32Speaker 4: I like her.
- 52:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know why. No, it's not.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Did y'all, did you see it when, you remember Derek Jeter?
- 52:41Speaker 1: Is that who I'm talking about?
- 52:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Baseball player.
- 52:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, that was cold.
- 52:44Speaker 8: Derek Jeter, when he used to date women and, you know,
- 52:48Speaker 8: they sleep together or whatever, he would send them home
- 52:51Speaker 8: with a basket of memorabilia from him so it'd be
- 52:55Speaker 8: like sign jersey sign baseball different things like it was
- 52:58Speaker 8: just gift a token of his appreciation for your time
- 53:01Speaker 8: so women always say women always say don't play with
- 53:05Speaker 8: women love to say don't play with my time my
- 53:08Speaker 8: time is valuable but then when i show you that
- 53:09Speaker 8: your time is valuable i'm in love which one is
- 53:12Speaker 8: it i'm.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Over here thanking you for your time you didn't have
- 53:15Speaker 1: to do that you're.
- 53:16Speaker 4: Good You're good.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Which one is it?
- 53:18Speaker 4: The way you flipped that reverse that you're good, brother.
- 53:21Speaker 4: That was classic.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I was over here wondering how you was going to
- 53:24Speaker 2: get out of that. That was good, buddy.
- 53:26Speaker 1: I ain't going to lie. I couldn't have did it.
- 53:29Speaker 1: I'd have fumbled up. Kiki would have got me.
- 53:33Speaker 2: We're almost at the end.
- 53:35Speaker 1: We're at the end of the show. We are. We
- 53:39Speaker 1: at the end of it. You see how I'm dressed?
- 53:42Speaker 4: Y'all know where I'm going.
- 53:43Speaker 1: She got to go to the gym. Tell your trainer
- 53:45Speaker 1: I'm coming.
- 53:45Speaker 2: We are at the end of the show. So do
- 53:47Speaker 2: you want to answer this question really quick? Can you
- 53:49Speaker 2: answer a question really fast? From the Jasmine brand, I
- 53:53Speaker 2: think this is a good is, my hair isn't done
- 53:56Speaker 2: or cut. Is that a valid reason for canceling plans?
- 54:01Speaker 4: Yes.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 54:02Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 54:03Speaker 5: I prefer you cancel plans with me than show up
- 54:05Speaker 5: without your hair cut. I can't stand a man who
- 54:07Speaker 5: has not cut or groomed.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Like mine.
- 54:10Speaker 3: I know.
- 54:10Speaker 4: You always had your hair cut. You don't have no hair.
- 54:14Speaker 5: So, like, I wouldn't... As long as you don't take
- 54:18Speaker 5: that hat off, we good.
- 54:19Speaker 4: Remember that time you did that? You took the hat off.
- 54:21Speaker 4: I almost ran up out of there.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Oh, that one day. Yeah.
- 54:23Speaker 4: I don't want to know you like that.
- 54:26Speaker 1: That one day he let me see the ring.
- 54:27Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 54:28Speaker 1: That was a different day right there. Whoa. Hey. Put
- 54:34Speaker 1: it back.
- 54:34Speaker 4: I almost called Rob, cut it myself.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Hey.
- 54:37Speaker 4: Come get your boy. He wilding.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I don't like that. I called him after the show.
- 54:42Speaker 1: You straight down. You need to holler at.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Me, dog.
- 54:48Speaker 1: That's how I do it. I let you see the ring.
- 54:50Speaker 1: That's how I let you see the ring.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Yes.
- 54:53Speaker 5: No, I prefer you cancel plans with me. I take
- 54:56Speaker 5: pride in my appearance most days, and I like people
- 55:00Speaker 5: that do the same.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:02Speaker 1: You got to keep a little shape up, a haircut.
- 55:05Speaker 1: You should. As a guy, you should keep that together.
- 55:07Speaker 1: That's the least we can do.
- 55:08Speaker 4: That's all y'all got to do.
- 55:09Speaker 8: Especially because I think about what women maintenance is crazy.
- 55:12Speaker 8: Women maintenance, nails, hair, eyelashes, eyebrows.
- 55:16Speaker 1: This bundle.
- 55:16Speaker 8: They got to get four bundles because they need it full.
- 55:19Speaker 1: This part.
- 55:20Speaker 4: You got to book your stylist a year ahead.
- 55:22Speaker 7: Then they got to come wash.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Do this. I'll be like, how do y'all even?
- 55:26Speaker 7: I have a lot of empathy for women when it
- 55:27Speaker 7: comes to their hairstyle.
- 55:28Speaker 1: All we got to do is hit up our barber,
- 55:32Speaker 1: get lined up, holler, and we out.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Put on some cologne and deodorant.
- 55:36Speaker 7: And some deodorant and some lotion.
- 55:38Speaker 1: You straight. You good. That's it. You good. We ain't
- 55:40Speaker 1: got to beat our face. They got to get makeup.
- 55:42Speaker 1: And care routines and stuff.
- 55:44Speaker 4: You want me to get a wax?
- 55:45Speaker 1: I don't care about none of that.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Wax?
- 55:48Speaker 1: Wax, I don't care about that either. We know. What,
- 55:50Speaker 1: you like it hairy? I don't mind it.
- 55:53Speaker 4: He from the 70s.
- 55:54Speaker 1: He don't give a damn. I don't mind it. I'm like,
- 55:57Speaker 1: we here now. And you ain't never turned it down,
- 55:59Speaker 1: because it was. I'm like, oh, my God.
- 56:02Speaker 7: I'm like, well, this is true.
- 56:04Speaker 1: I'm going to be wearing hair in the teeth today.
- 56:08Speaker 4: Oh, it's time to go.
- 56:09Speaker 1: All right, thoughts for the pie, y'all.
- 56:11Speaker 5: Shout out to the pie fam tapping their early sugar plums, saying,
- 56:15Speaker 5: good morning, pie fam.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Welcome back.
- 56:17Speaker 5: I missed y'all's special brand of crazy. They said, happy
- 56:21Speaker 5: birthday to Ryan from a Chicago girl. What up, Sugar Plum?
- 56:24Speaker 4: That's my girl. Let me see.
- 56:26Speaker 5: Zodo said, Kiki look good. Get into that glow, big Kiki,
- 56:30Speaker 5: not the little one.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Thank you, friend.
- 56:32Speaker 5: Wondering Zach's next comedy show is September 27th at the
- 56:35Speaker 5: Laugh Factory with Leon and friends. Which tickets are on
- 56:38Speaker 5: sale now? Let's keep growing the pie, y'all. Come on, Zodo.
- 56:43Speaker 5: You better plug them tickets, period. Tiffany Womack, I miss
- 56:47Speaker 5: you guys.
- 56:49Speaker 4: Nicole Jordan.
- 56:50Speaker 5: I'm with Zach Boog about room service and drinks from
- 56:53Speaker 5: CVS from Cali. Wudu is life says as a long
- 56:58Speaker 5: life NYC resident, we grew up around Puerto Ricans and
- 57:01Speaker 5: they said that N word and it wasn't the issue.
- 57:03Speaker 5: We were all in the same boat. I think outside
- 57:06Speaker 5: the tri-state area, people may have a problem, but that's
- 57:08Speaker 5: the way it was. They were your friends, neighbors, and family.
- 57:12Speaker 5: So they're defending Fat Joe on that one.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I believe that. And I respect that. That is like
- 57:17Speaker 1: that in New York. And I respect that.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I think, I was just saying when he said he
- 57:22Speaker 2: the blackest, I think that's way too far.
- 57:25Speaker 4: Way too far.
- 57:27Speaker 5: Let me see. Monaco Demetrius said, LOL, Brian McKnight cleared
- 57:34Speaker 5: his cache.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Is that, is it cachet?
- 57:37Speaker 5: When you clear your, like, basically you cleared your cookies
- 57:39Speaker 5: on the computer.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's cachet. Is it cachet or cachet? I don't know.
- 57:42Speaker 1: It's French.
- 57:42Speaker 5: And Misty Mo Jones says, Zach is sick. I died
- 57:46Speaker 5: from Houston.
- 57:46Speaker 1: What'd you die from?
- 57:48Speaker 4: Talking about the Brian McKnight. You got to pull a McKnight.
- 57:51Speaker 1: You got to pull a McKnight. All right, y'all.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Love y'all. Pie fam.
- 57:56Speaker 1: All right now, that's it.
- 57:58Speaker 6: All right.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I read enough.
- 58:00Speaker 4: I got to go work out.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Let's go. She ready to go work out.
- 58:03Speaker 5: And they see the glow, too. I'll be reading all
- 58:06Speaker 5: the comments y'all be saying about me because I'll be
- 58:07Speaker 5: trying to be humble. But I see y'all saying that
- 58:09Speaker 5: the glow is there.
- 58:10Speaker 4: Y'all see it. Shout out my girl, Obsidian or Med Spa.
- 58:13Speaker 4: Hit her up.
- 58:13Speaker 1: That's right. That's right. I'm going to see her today.
- 58:16Speaker 4: Okay, you want to get your drip?
- 58:17Speaker 2: What you getting ready to get? I'm going to get
- 58:19Speaker 2: the shot today.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I don't got time to do the drip. Oh, you
- 58:22Speaker 1: getting the shot? You getting ready to get the... NAD shot.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Then she gave me the peptides. Oh, I thought you
- 58:27Speaker 1: was getting the other ones.
- 58:28Speaker 4: The dab that I get.
- 58:31Speaker 5: You have been looking real small these days.
- 58:34Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you what it is. I'm not
- 58:37Speaker 1: on it.
- 58:39Speaker 2: I'm telling you it's because I don't eat booze.
- 58:43Speaker 1: No more. And I cook a lot because I can't eat.
- 58:46Speaker 4: You have been meal prepping.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I can't eat out. I get sick every time. Real quick, guys.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Why are you whispering? Because this is very important.
- 58:53Speaker 4: You know how you get. Hey, y'all.
- 58:54Speaker 8: This is a public service announcement. You can do what
- 58:56Speaker 8: you want with this information. They approved the lab meat.
- 58:59Speaker 8: And the lab meat is going to be in these
- 59:01Speaker 8: fast food chains.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I read it yesterday.
- 59:03Speaker 8: If you have a Tyson, allegedly, if you have a Tyson,
- 59:09Speaker 8: if they source from Tyson, you're getting ready to start
- 59:11Speaker 8: getting the lab.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Oh, no. And I saw a lot of fast food
- 59:16Speaker 1: chains on there. They've probably already been doing it.
- 59:20Speaker 8: But now it's been USDA approved. So now it will
- 59:26Speaker 8: say it may have just a USDA label. And you'll
- 59:30Speaker 8: think you're getting the real stuff. It is certain keywords
- 59:33Speaker 8: that they use, like sell, cultured, sell this. They don't
- 59:37Speaker 8: say lab meat. They use different little words. Be careful
- 59:41Speaker 8: of that, y'all, because it's coming out. The lab meat
- 59:43Speaker 8: is real. It almost made me want to be like,
- 59:45Speaker 8: I might just be done. I might be done.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Because this is crazy.
- 59:49Speaker 8: If I don't catch it myself, I ain't eating it.
- 59:51Speaker 8: Or I got to find a farmer or something.
- 59:52Speaker 4: Yeah, if I don't catch it myself, I ain't eating it.
- 59:54Speaker 1: This is wild. The crazy thing is going to be.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Now, from an actual farmer, he's going to be able
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: to make more money because now people are going to
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: be looking for farm-raised animals.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Yes, real animals. Yep.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: I just want to show y'all.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Okay. All right. All right. We got to get us
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: out of here.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: This is Big Lou. Lou.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Big Lou.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: Big Lou is on the pod, y'all. This is my trainer.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: What's up? What's up, Newt?
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: You talking about wrapping up now?
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to get trained, but you look like Suge
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Knight right now. I do want to come in there.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I do want to come in there with you, big dog.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: Oh!
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: Get Kiki out of here.
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: She got to go.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: She got to go. What more can we say?
