- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity, no topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:19Hey, friends.
- 0:20Thank you so much for tuning in and watching, listening, sharing the podcast.
- 0:25I love my brother Pete Garcia.
- 0:27I almost said Pete Hegseth, because that's what we're going to be talking about, Operation
- 0:31Midnight Hammer, then we're going to be talking about Israel and the work that they've been
- 0:37doing over there.
- 0:38It's amazing what's been going on.
- 0:39Just what's happening in the Middle East is amazing prophetically, but I want to give
- 0:43Pete's website.
- 0:44It is rev310.net, that's ReV310.net, rev310.
- 0:53Pete Garcia, thanks for coming back on the show with us.
- 0:57Thanks for coming in, David.
- 0:58It's good to be here.
- 0:59Good to see you, and I know you're traveling at a city or your hotel there.
- 1:04You're keeping busy.
- 1:05So a very fascinating topic.
- 1:08And as I mentioned to you, I think in an email or a text message, at least, to some people
- 1:13this might seem like, okay, this isn't a program.
- 1:15We don't break news here.
- 1:16I don't, on World View Matters, we talk about issues and talk about perspectives and everything
- 1:22else.
- 1:23Geopolitics.
- 1:25Not right on the cutting edge of every news.
- 1:28We weren't meant to keep up with everything.
- 1:30But what we want to do is go back, I guess, several weeks now and talk about Operation
- 1:34Midnight Hammer, I'm curious to see how that's going to show in history.
- 1:40What history is going to reflect if we're here several years down the road, and Jesus
- 1:44doesn't return first, right?
- 1:47So Pete, you're overall, you're a former aviator.
- 1:51Your overall conclusion, your thoughts, it was a successful mission.
- 1:57To me, it was amazing.
- 1:59To the average American, we're going, I mean, everything, they carried it out without
- 2:04anyone, the element of a surprise, from Missouri to Iran bombing the precision with those
- 2:11massive bombs.
- 2:12So everything looked like amazing, but yet the liberal media did what they do, right?
- 2:16So you're overall taken on it before we dive into some of the articles and details.
- 2:22Overwhelming success in hats off to the guys and the Air Force, both in the guard and
- 2:28the active duty as well as any naval or marine and other assets from maybe the UK or whoever
- 2:35else that participated.
- 2:37Look, it was a fully integrated joint force strike package.
- 2:42125 aircraft, you had ships, aircraft carriers, submarines, launch in Tomahawks.
- 2:50You had B2s, drop in GPUs, these massive ordinance penetrators, 30,000 pound bombs.
- 2:56And they achieved what they set out to do.
- 2:59And this is right on the heels of Israel's very successful Operation Rising Lion, which
- 3:05decimated Iran's military leadership as well as their senior nuclear scientists, some
- 3:13are in the neighborhood of six to eight senior generals, you know, now since departed.
- 3:20And then about 20 senior military commanders in the IRGC and various other agencies within
- 3:28their military defense, as well as the decimation of these nuclear scientists, these guys that
- 3:35have the technical know how to actually build these weapons of master's instruction they're
- 3:39trying to achieve.
- 3:41Yeah, this is really fascinating to me.
- 3:44First of all, they even thought about sending out decoys.
- 3:47I mean, that is, I mean, it seems like they didn't miss anything.
- 3:52But over at BreakingDefense.com, there's an article in Operation Midnight Hammer, how
- 3:58the US conducted the strikes on Iran.
- 4:00And it says the operation included more than 125 US aircraft, dozens of aerial refueling
- 4:08tankers.
- 4:09And I want to ask you about that, Pete, because we didn't see a lot of that on the news.
- 4:12A guided missile submarine, as you mentioned, and approximately 75 precision guided weapons.
- 4:20And the fact that, I mean, I think I saw another article where President Trump, he was
- 4:27aware of the operation, but didn't know it was happening at that time, or he didn't know,
- 4:32because even the military was planning the whole thing out, right?
- 4:35And just it's just amazing from start to finish.
- 4:38So can you go back and talk about starting a Missouri, sending out the decoys.
- 4:45And then I would love for you, at some point, to describe the refueling process of these
- 4:51massive B2 bombers.
- 4:54Well, yeah, this is a, well, you know, this strike on Iran is a long time coming.
- 4:59I mean, the Iranians have been hostile to the United States since 79 since a revolution.
- 5:04The marine barracks bombing in Beirut, I think is in 83 that killed something like 243
- 5:10American Marines.
- 5:12That's right.
- 5:13They were fully responsible for, you know, all the deaths they committed against the Iraqis,
- 5:19and their eight-year war as well as funding and supporting various terrorist factions around
- 5:25the world to include the Taliban and al-Qaeda and these other groups that the US spent 20 years
- 5:32fighting.
- 5:33They gave them technical expertise on how to make and build explosive devices, you know,
- 5:40IEDs and drones and other kinds of things.
- 5:43So, and they also gave sanctuary to senior al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders.
- 5:47So they definitely don't have innocent, there should be no claims of innocence from this
- 5:55current regime in Iran that anybody should take seriously because they have blood on
- 5:59their hands through and through, not the people, but the leadership of Iran.
- 6:04But moving from Missouri to launch an operation like this, look, I've done numerous aerosols
- 6:12and air missions and other things that I've involved in planning or participating in.
- 6:18These big movements involving dozens of aircraft is incredibly complex.
- 6:23It takes an immense amount of time to plan and to execute everything that they did to
- 6:29include the aerial refueling, which is an incredibly difficult task.
- 6:35But what it does is it extends American power, the range in which we can reach out and touch
- 6:41people is now global and it's been global for a while.
- 6:44I mean, we've had this capability for a long time, but it certainly distinguishes us from
- 6:49say the Russians or the Chinese who have very limited aerial refueling capabilities.
- 6:54And that's why they can't reach out and execute their geopolitical will like they want
- 6:59to, but the US can because we have that logistics capability.
- 7:02So a significant boost to American firepower is these refuelers who go out and make these
- 7:11B-52s give them the range and the legs to do what they got to do.
- 7:15Which is astounding.
- 7:17Everything went off without a hitch and I want to go back to the article which says the
- 7:21strike package with seven B-2 spirit bombers left Whitman Air Force Base in Missouri.
- 7:28I think it's Whitman Air Force Base in Missouri.
- 7:31They're flying east for 18 hours with, quote, minimal communications towards the target
- 7:39area.
- 7:40So Pete, when you get out, I'm guessing over the Atlantic that they refueled over the
- 7:46Atlantic, explain that how that works.
- 7:49Where does the fuel come from?
- 7:51Do they land on an aircraft carrier?
- 7:53Does another plane come over with the fuel?
- 7:56How does that work?
- 7:58No, they'd, so they, these, why what are they called, these refueling tankers that they
- 8:05take off and fly with, they, it's all done in the air.
- 8:09So basically that refueler that B-52 or whatever plane is coming up or jet coming up behind
- 8:14that plane will come up behind it, that tanker will begin to extend out this hose and this
- 8:20hose, I don't know if it's magnetic, I can't tell you the specifics on it, but it syncs
- 8:24up with the jet or the plane and they connect there and then they're able to refuel in flight
- 8:31and that's why they don't have to stop, they can just keep flying.
- 8:36But yeah, that's what gives them that range to keep going and so I have no love for
- 8:41a white man in Air Force Base, I was a commander at Fort Riley and we had to fly in there one
- 8:45time for, I forget what we had to do and they made his ground taxi like a mile in a black
- 8:49hawk and like a hot spurtay, so I've never had any love for Air Force, but I think the
- 8:55mission reach capability of the Air Force is pretty amazing, so I'll keep my opinions
- 9:01to myself on that part.
- 9:02So it also says that the National Guard helped make the Operation Midnight Hammer a success
- 9:10or the members in Missouri's National Guard, the bomb wing.
- 9:15So they ended up dropping 14 bunker, buster bombs, thank you Jeff, leave that up Operation
- 9:22Midnight Hammer, I like that.
- 9:24So Pete, we see the flight, we see when they, when they left white man Air Force Base
- 9:29in Missouri, roughly the middle of America there, we see the flight path and the destination.
- 9:35Just to explain anything you would like to on this chart.
- 9:38Well, you know, they've been moving them around, they were down in Diego Garcia, like seven
- 9:45of them are ten of them were down there for a while and so I think their movements around
- 9:49the globe have been part of this kind of deception campaign that the US has been subtly
- 9:55waging against the IRGC and they really weren't sure what we were going to do and I don't
- 10:02think that they moved anything.
- 10:04They might have moved some stuff preemptively just to have a small supply, but when those
- 10:10B-52s dropped 12 GPU bombs on top of 4-0 and 2 at Natons, I mean from the satellite footage
- 10:21looking down, it doesn't look that damaging because these bombs are not designed to do
- 10:25that, they're designed to penetrate into the ground and they can penetrate up to 200 feet
- 10:30of reinforced concrete, think about that 200 feet of concrete, these things can penetrate
- 10:35through that before they detonate and so you have 12 of those dropped at 4-0, I'm sorry
- 10:42man, like whatever is underground there is radioactive soup, it is, it is, it is not going
- 10:48to be recoverable, these bombs have about a three ton yield, explosive yield and as I
- 10:54mentioned that before, they are not designed to have this huge blast, like a fiery blast
- 11:03necessarily and there's minimal damage at the surface, but they have an incredibly
- 11:09devastating shockwave that they generate.
- 11:13So think about a shockwave inside of a hardened reinforced structure, like concrete, anything
- 11:19in there is going to be just obliterated and if you're a human down there, you're going
- 11:24to be a baton, sorry it's going to be, you're going to be liquefied, I would think because
- 11:29you're going to be smashed up against a concrete wall at the speed of, you know, whatever, you
- 11:34know, mock, mock force one or something, mock one, you're not going to be much of anything
- 11:39but a stain. So those bombs are incredibly devastating. I don't think there's anything
- 11:44left in there for though, except for radioactive soup.
- 11:47But Pete Garcia, according to an anonymous tip, leaker, a trader sent information to either
- 11:54the New York Times and or CNN, they said that they didn't put the operation over there
- 11:59in Iraq back very, maybe a couple months. First of all, what do you think about the fact
- 12:06that we still have people, whether they're from the deep state, their enemies of Trump
- 12:10for sure, maybe enemies of America, but we have leakers that would do something like that.
- 12:16What do you think about that? And then the irresponsibility of a CNN or a New York Times to report
- 12:23something like that.
- 12:25You look, if Trump announced the cure for cancer tomorrow, that they would still find
- 12:31negative ways to criticize him or criticize this discovery or whatever, that this discovery
- 12:36was racist or that it was, you know, you know, MAGA or whatever. I think the fact that
- 12:42you can look at the before and after pictures of photos specifically and notice the geographic
- 12:47features there, the hills, the, you know, the rocks and all that and then look at the
- 12:52after shot and it's smooth. And again, these bombs are not designed to do surface damage.
- 12:59So the fact that that surface is can radically changed and flattened tells me that that whatever
- 13:05was under there, concrete or otherwise is, is a hot mess. If you think back to Hezbollah
- 13:12when they took out Nasrallah, I don't know the size of that bomb or the two bombs they
- 13:16dropped on his headquarters. But afterwards, man, you could look down into that. It was
- 13:20a huge cavern that these bombs generated. The bombs they dropped in Forte-O and in Iran
- 13:25that the US dropped more powerful. No. And I, I don't think they're ever going to pull
- 13:33anything out of Forte-O ever again. Now, Isfahan was the other, the more that they, what
- 13:38they claim is the civilian side for their nuclear capabilities. That was hit by a dozens
- 13:43of Tomahawk missiles. So that was launched from that submarine. So that was taken out
- 13:47other strategic targets that were, that were more on the surface level buildings and whatnot
- 13:53that they used for their capabilities there. So do you think we're going to take a break
- 13:58in a minute, Pete, but do you think that the rest of the world is looking at the Trump
- 14:02administration and America and going, OK, I guess they do mean business? I think so. Yeah,
- 14:10I think so. And I think that between the tariffs and these, the Israeli attack on Iran
- 14:15and the fact that the US backed them and it is going to change dynamics in the Middle East
- 14:19quite significantly. And we'll have to kind of wait and see what happens with Ukraine
- 14:24and Russia and how that kind of plays out. But I think this is given pause to China on
- 14:30their Taiwan ambitions. And this is probably giving pause to Kim Jong-un on repatriating
- 14:36the whole continent or the whole peninsula there of Korea. So I think it's making some
- 14:41of these leaders second guess their, their decisions.
- 14:45So one more question before we take a break after this hugely successful mission that
- 14:52should go down in history as just an amazing feat accomplished by America, not just for
- 14:57America, but for the world to take out these nuclear sites. What do you think that's going
- 15:02to do to Air Force, Army, Marine, Navy recruiting, recruitment in the military? It's already
- 15:10off the charts. Yeah, it's, it's definitely an image booster considering that, you know,
- 15:20US military recruiting tanked right after the Afghanistan withdrawal. And for that really
- 15:24that next couple of years, it's been super low. They've been barely meeting. If not,
- 15:29not meeting their quotas across the board. So yeah, Pete Heggseth coming back in a
- 15:34sectet. And the fact that he was a, he retired as a major, you know, he was, you know, trained
- 15:41with the troops. He's young fit. He's got tattoos. He relates to them. It's a huge boom
- 15:46for recruitment. And it's about time really. I mean, I think a lot of these former sectet
- 15:51guys are coming out of either senior general positions and they're going straight into
- 15:56the military industrial complex back into these kind of appointed positions. And they're
- 16:01just, it's, it's so, it's so shady and so just corrupt that it's, we need a new blood
- 16:07in. Yeah. Amen, brother. Well, when we come back with Pete Garcia, we're going to talk
- 16:12about how the Middle East is potentially being reshaped. Also how Israel's 12 day Iran
- 16:19war may have even outdone the six day war. That's coming up next today's show is brought
- 16:26to you by Harbinger's Daily. World news biblically understood. Stay informed at Harbinger's
- 16:32daily dot com.
- 16:42So over at the Jerusalem post, many great articles there, Pete. And the one I pulled up said
- 16:49that perhaps, I mean, they're talking about the six day war. And that even before these
- 16:5512 days that they're referring to, Israel had carried out takedowns of Hamas and Hezbollah
- 17:01helped cause the fall of the Assad regime in Syria. But in some ways, what it did during
- 17:06these 12 days that were that are referring to was more important for all the Iranian proxies
- 17:13to see their leader pummeled into submission. And what they're doing, what they have done.
- 17:20That's what I think partially may be influenced President Trump to join the fray and to start
- 17:27this, you know, putting together with the help of Pete Hegseth and others, the Operation
- 17:32Midnight Hammer. So your thoughts on how this article is talking about comparing this
- 17:3812 day Iran war with the six day war historically. And it's really a fascinating comparison.
- 17:45Anything else you'd like to share about that, Pete?
- 17:47Yeah, this feels like it's kind of the completion of the six day war in a way. But both have
- 17:54very similar things that they compare and also different things that they contrast on.
- 18:00So in keeping with Israeli national security doctrine, you know, they looked at both instances
- 18:08both in 1967 and here recently as existential threats to the nation of Israel. So both wars
- 18:16were both creative strikes that relied on speed and surprise. And I think both of those
- 18:24did that. I think the differences are probably more than the similarities, but the difference
- 18:30is being that in 67 Israel fought nation states, they fought Israel, are they fought Jordan,
- 18:36Syria, and Egypt. And this time they just fought one nation state. And then four proxies
- 18:41has a lot of Hamas and the Houthis and I'm forgetting somebody. I'm sure if there's some
- 18:50other groups that are operating in Judea and Samaria. But anyways, you know, so there's
- 18:54those differences. Also the other major differences. I think this this strike here was incredibly
- 19:01complex. It took years and years of infiltration by Masad. It took years of planning. I mean,
- 19:08they've been wanting to do this, you know, in my recent memory, just, you know, really
- 19:11since about the 2012, 2013 timeframe was that when they seriously started tamping this
- 19:18to the United Nations and everyone else. So I think that it was an incredibly complex
- 19:25mission that they did. Incredibly more successful than what we did. They were basically able to
- 19:32successfully decapitated the IRGC leadership and really sent Kamani, you know, hiding.
- 19:39He's in some hidey hole somewhere like Samusain was back and during the Iraq war. So I don't
- 19:46even know that Kamani makes it out of this alive. I don't think he does. I think he's 86
- 19:51years old. He's not in great health. He's in really poor health. His whole world view
- 19:55has come crumbling down. I just, you know, all of the people that he keeps appointing to
- 20:00take over keep getting taken out. So I don't know. I think I'm kind of mixed on this. I kind
- 20:06of think this is the end of this particular version of Iran's history.
- 20:12So then let's, you know, maybe speculate a little bit more. What will the country of Iran
- 20:18look like then and how is that going to change? Who's going to take power and could there
- 20:23be even more radical people taking power? Well, the Bible does give us a great outline of the
- 20:31things to come. And in one of those battles is the Battle of Gog and May Gog. And this is
- 20:36this multinational front that that attempts to surround and overwhelm Israel. And it says
- 20:44they come from Gog, May Gog and all the nations that are listed there. But the nations that
- 20:49that we don't have any question over is Persia Persia is listed there. And there's no dispute
- 20:54over who who that's talking about. Now granted, Persia was probably considerably larger back
- 21:00at the height of their their dynasty. So that may incorporate parts of Iraq and other places.
- 21:06But by and large, these nations of seems to be Russia, Turkey and Iran partner together for
- 21:12the first time in human history and try to overwhelm Israel. But what's also interesting is the
- 21:18other nations and the other people groups that are invite are that are that join this endeavor.
- 21:24And so I look at what's going on right now with the conflicts in Russia and Ukraine and we look
- 21:30at the conflicts with Israel and Iran and all of the proxy terrorist groups that Israel has been
- 21:36taking out strategically. And I think, okay, well, that's who is being in play right now. And they're
- 21:41greatly being decimated. But there's vast, vast numbers of men of military fighting age that
- 21:48still live in the former Soviet satellite states of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan,
- 21:56Pakistan, also from Africa that we know they come from the from Libya and from Sudan area,
- 22:04Kush and put. So we see a great vast number of Muslim military age fighting males coming up from
- 22:10that area. And I also think that it's going to drain Europe of their militant military age fighting
- 22:16males. And it'll be like a reverse crusades. They'll they'll all something happens to the world,
- 22:22the US is no longer able to protect Israel. Israel is in disarray, western civilizations would
- 22:27indissoray. And they the enemies of Israel finally think this is the perfect time to launch
- 22:33a surprise attack. And whether the satellites are down or whether Israel's just not expecting it
- 22:40because they're living in peace and security, these groups begin to mass and try to take out Israel
- 22:46and God supernaturally devastates these armies. And so I think that for Israel, this is incredibly
- 22:54uplifting in the sense that prophecy is being fulfilled, but it's also
- 22:57terrible for them because they don't have the new testament. So for them, the battle of
- 23:03Gog and Megaga is the last major war. And they may incorporate parts of Zachariah 12 and 14 into
- 23:09the Gog and Megaga battle, but they don't have the book of Revelation. I'm talking about Israel
- 23:14and the Orthodox Jews and then those that don't subscribe to Christianity, they don't have the book
- 23:18of Revelation. So for them, at the end of Gog and Megaga, it may be the time where they finally
- 23:24think that the kingdom has arrived and some guys sets up on the stage and says, hey, let's just
- 23:28finally make this peace deal once and for all between Israel and the world. And so it's good in
- 23:34the sense that it's going to shore up their belief in God in the sense that that God is still fulfilling
- 23:40prophecy. The downside is they don't have the new testament. So they think that's it. They think
- 23:44they're done. And that's where the deception comes in. Wow. Thank you for bringing the
- 23:49perspective of Bible prophecy into this, Pete. Appreciate that very much. I want to give your
- 23:53website one more time. Rev310.net. But I also want to bring it back to America for the last three
- 24:00minutes here. Two brief articles I want to mention. One of them is over at townhall.com. Guy Benson
- 24:07wrote, it's official. Democrats are now the anti-Israel party. And it's not even close. They're now pro
- 24:14Palestinian. But over at the New York Post, this is from earlier this year, a survey came out,
- 24:20a Gallup survey found that 60, 60% of Democrats are anti-Israel. This is the first time ever for
- 24:28a major US political party. Just to compare, and I'm going to get your thoughts, 33% of Democrats
- 24:35have a favorable view of Israel. By comparison, 83% of Republicans have a favorable view of Israel.
- 24:44So, Pete, this is interesting politically for America. What are your thoughts on that?
- 24:52Well, it just shows the distance we've fallen as far as our Judeo-Christian roots and the
- 25:02understanding of the special role that the nation of Israel has with the God of our Bible.
- 25:08And it's not that he loves them more than he loves anyone else, but he has a covenant with
- 25:12him. And God is not a liar. He can't lie. He's not a man that he could lie. So, he is going to keep
- 25:17that covenant. And so, in the Bible, there's two types of covenants that we see. There's the
- 25:26unconditional covenants, for example, with Abraham and David, where there was no
- 25:32stipulations put on it. This is something that God intends to do, and he's going to do it.
- 25:37And the other one is a conditional covenant. And that's things like the mosaic law, the 613 laws
- 25:42that fall inside of the Torah, that this is the if then, if you obey me, then you will be blessed.
- 25:50If you don't obey me, then you will have all kinds of problems. And so, it's one of the things that
- 25:56that has been a special relationship with Israel and the God that we worship, the God that created
- 26:02the entire universe. And this is how he set it up. I didn't set this up. The Trump didn't set this
- 26:06up. Netanyahu didn't set this up. This is the way that the God that we look at our Bible, and we
- 26:12believe it to be true, that it's Holy Spirit inspired. And if that's true, then Israel still has a
- 26:17special role to play in these last days. And the fact that much of Western Christendom has
- 26:22subscribed to things like a millennialism or preridism or post-millennialism. And these eschatologies
- 26:28are way off base. And they all have something in common. They greatly diminish or dismiss
- 26:33totally outright the nation of Israel. And I think it's to their detriment. And it's to the
- 26:38West detriment that these eschatologies have flourished and have influenced the senior leadership
- 26:45now within even the Republican and conservative sides of our politics that they no longer understand
- 26:53Israel's role. And to them, it's just another country. And so, that is going to be to our own
