- 0:16Speaker 2: I was googling Grateful Dead songs will start the show
- 0:18Speaker 2: today because I saw a four hour documentary over the weekend. Yeah,
- 0:21Speaker 2: called Long Strange Trip. We got the director of coming
- 0:24Speaker 2: in later. And then Shard's like texting me, I got tonight,
- 0:28Speaker 2: I got today's song man.
- 0:32Speaker 4: From Run dmc right, big shout out to Run, big
- 0:34Speaker 4: shout out to dmc.
- 0:37Speaker 3: J.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I was gonna play throwing Stones just for the people
- 0:40Speaker 2: that are wondering which Dead song.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I was gonna play. Oh yeah, we can play that
- 0:42Speaker 3: later a little later. It's a long song, but it's
- 0:45Speaker 3: it longer than a documentary.
- 0:46Speaker 2: The documentary, you know, when I saw it was four
- 0:49Speaker 2: hours long, I'm like, oh my god, that's what the fuck?
- 0:52Speaker 3: This thing could have been eight hours long. It was good.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I gotta enjoyed it. I don't know if you're a
- 0:57Speaker 3: deadhead or a Grateful Dead fan or whatever.
- 0:59Speaker 4: But one of the latest crowds that I saw for
- 1:02Speaker 4: a concert was when I was up state visited my
- 1:04Speaker 4: boys Connectady.
- 1:05Speaker 5: It was in college ran Bolla.
- 1:06Speaker 4: The Yeah, it was a Dead concert at Nicobacher Arena.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Holy shit.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I never saw how many people fall concert in
- 1:15Speaker 5: my life.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15Speaker 5: We were just driving through trying.
- 1:16Speaker 4: To go to some girl's house, right, and it was
- 1:18Speaker 4: fucking it had to be ten thousand people out.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Well did you see the people outside?
- 1:22Speaker 4: Yes, the people outside and was already packed inside them
- 1:24Speaker 4: two outside stuck outside, but.
- 1:25Speaker 3: They were able to hear the music outside. It was crazy.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I mean I went to a handful of shows over
- 1:30Speaker 3: the years. It was awesome. It was more almost more
- 1:32Speaker 3: fun to be in the parking lot. I'm telling you.
- 1:34Speaker 6: I made some money in the parking lot.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Huh.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Me and my buddies. We stole some nitrous tanks from
- 1:39Speaker 6: the hospital.
- 1:39Speaker 3: They loved the nitross. It was a dead shows. I
- 1:42Speaker 3: just saw the balloons.
- 1:43Speaker 7: We made ten grandsily Yeah when I u I uh
- 1:49Speaker 7: I did. I did radio in the parking lot in
- 1:51Speaker 7: Buffalo a million years ago, and the people lined up
- 1:55Speaker 7: the balloons for us.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and that that's not legal.
- 1:59Speaker 8: Nothing I did as long as everyone behaved.
- 2:02Speaker 3: The cops were pretty damn cool to the Deadheads. Okay,
- 2:05Speaker 3: but there was a line. It was way in the
- 2:07Speaker 3: back of the parking lot. They weren't.
- 2:08Speaker 2: They weren't advertising it, but word got out and then
- 2:11Speaker 2: there was a long line and people were paying how much?
- 2:13Speaker 6: Well, did you see we never we never took money.
- 2:15Speaker 6: We took trade. That way you can never.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Really get in. Would get acid and weed and all
- 2:21Speaker 3: that stuff, and then we would sell.
- 2:23Speaker 6: That at a later day and that way.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Did you really do this at some Dead shows? I
- 2:28Speaker 3: have an audi bab four thousand. That's pretty cool? Now?
- 2:35Speaker 5: Who directed the documentary?
- 2:37Speaker 3: Oh? Christ, I knew you were going to ask me that?
- 2:39Speaker 3: I just end coming. My god, he's on stuff this point.
- 2:46Speaker 3: His name is a mere bar left, a mere bar Lab.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Okay, all I care about Grateful Dead, long strange trip,
- 2:55Speaker 2: That's all I need to know. And I just needed
- 2:57Speaker 2: to ask him a couple of pertinent questions and get
- 3:00Speaker 2: through the interview.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I gotta watch it, though, get through the interviews in
- 3:04Speaker 3: that one.
- 3:06Speaker 6: I'd never been inside a Grateful Dead show.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Are you fascinated by the band though?
- 3:10Speaker 2: And what they were able to accomplish? They were around
- 3:13Speaker 2: for thirty years and Cherry Garcia basically killed himself because
- 3:16Speaker 2: he couldn't take it anymore.
- 3:17Speaker 3: I just then he killed himself slowly over the thirty years.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but he ramped it up with some heroin in
- 3:23Speaker 2: the later years. But it looked like he was seventy
- 3:26Speaker 2: when he died. He was only I think fifty two
- 3:28Speaker 2: or fifty three years old.
- 3:29Speaker 3: That was it. He died in nineteen ninety five, which
- 3:31Speaker 3: is twenty two years ago, and he was in his
- 3:33Speaker 3: fifties when he died, fifty three. You know, he was
- 3:35Speaker 3: not that guy right there. No, he's not. Well, that's
- 3:38Speaker 3: an older picture right there.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah, you would you would swear you're looking at a
- 3:41Speaker 2: late sixties guy right there.
- 3:43Speaker 3: He what Yeah, he was fifty three when he died.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Fifty three. Man, he had a lot of pressure. Oh
- 3:49Speaker 3: that motherfucker. And then what you learn in.
- 3:50Speaker 2: This documentary is, you know, you think it's just a
- 3:53Speaker 2: band and they're.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Doing their thing. It was a massive fucking business. Oh
- 3:57Speaker 3: my god. They employed hundreds of people, so they had
- 4:01Speaker 3: to keep the train going. Man, It's like, well, yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 5: They shot themselves into bankruptcy.
- 4:08Speaker 3: They were weighing the options because Jerry Garcia really needed help.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And they're like, ah, maybe we should, you know, slow
- 4:13Speaker 2: down the touring a little bit. But then you had
- 4:16Speaker 2: to think of all the people that were making money
- 4:17Speaker 2: off the Grateful Dead tours and the music and everything else.
- 4:21Speaker 2: But then the bandmates, you know, they said, look, if
- 4:25Speaker 2: we slow down our touring schedule, he's just going to
- 4:27Speaker 2: go out there with the Jerry Garcia band, So we
- 4:30Speaker 2: might as well continue because either way, he's not going
- 4:32Speaker 2: to slow the fuck down, right, And uh, yeah, he
- 4:35Speaker 2: left us in nineteen ninety five.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Damn, that's a long time ago. And ago he looked
- 4:40Speaker 3: like he was seventy five years old. Yeah. Absolutely, And
- 4:43Speaker 3: it's a.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Band that didn't make a lot of money off of recording.
- 4:46Speaker 2: They didn't want to record. They hated recording albums. They
- 4:49Speaker 2: thought that was like a commercial for the band. They
- 4:52Speaker 2: didn't think it represented them. Actually, it was just more
- 4:54Speaker 2: of a commercial to say, hey, this is this band
- 4:56Speaker 2: and we do these things, so come and see us.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Right wow, I mean, how do you survive that? But
- 5:02Speaker 2: they were able to survive it, and of course they
- 5:04Speaker 2: put out some albums you know, here and there like yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 2: I mean Live Europe seventy two is one of their
- 5:11Speaker 2: biggest albums ever, and they had Built to Last and
- 5:15Speaker 2: a couple others, but that was like very mainstream songs
- 5:19Speaker 2: they did in the late eighties.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I think okay.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Eighty five and no mid eighties, so eighty five and
- 5:24Speaker 2: camp put in nineteen eighty seven.
- 5:25Speaker 5: He was fifty three years old when he died. That
- 5:27Speaker 5: shocks me.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Isn't that crazy? That shocks me? It looks old. Yeah,
- 5:31Speaker 3: but everyone thought he was like, you know, a god
- 5:33Speaker 3: for real.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and he that all weighed on him, and he
- 5:37Speaker 2: just wanted to fucking play his music, right, So, and
- 5:40Speaker 2: I like the rest of the band was trying to
- 5:42Speaker 2: like to get rid of the whole deadhead thing, yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 2: because you know, it was getting out of control. When
- 5:47Speaker 2: the band came to town. It was crazy how many
- 5:49Speaker 2: people were showing up right, And the rest of the
- 5:51Speaker 2: band was basically saying, hey, we we got to stop this.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So they would put PSA's out and announcements and videos,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and Jerry never spoke up because he was like he
- 6:00Speaker 2: was one of these guys that was basically anything goes,
- 6:04Speaker 2: anything goes. I'm not gonna be the one to tell
- 6:06Speaker 2: these people that they can't.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Travel around with us. Why would they. But it was
- 6:10Speaker 3: a detriment.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Because you know, the authorities and everybody else was like,
- 6:13Speaker 2: this is this is getting way the fuck out of hand.
- 6:16Speaker 3: The documentary was great. The four hours went by fast.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Four hours, the four hour documentary, they could have easily
- 6:23Speaker 3: done eight. I'm out. You feel like you're in the
- 6:25Speaker 3: band for four hours. That's like being a dead head.
- 6:28Speaker 3: That's like, that's like going to a show. That's a commitment. Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 3: So it hooked at the beginning and got you. It's
- 6:37Speaker 3: gonna be on Amazon. It's gonna be Amazon Prime. It's
- 6:43Speaker 3: an Amazon original. This thing. All the good stuff is.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Uh being being made elsewhere studios man streams June second.
- 6:53Speaker 2: For the people that care, it's the documentaries.
- 6:56Speaker 8: I'm so proud of, like Netflix and Amazon and stuff.
- 6:58Speaker 8: I'm proud that I'm gonna be able to see these
- 7:01Speaker 8: fucking networks eat dirt.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah, like all these like all these managers and these
- 7:06Speaker 1: corporate people.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I can't wait. They have the market corner for a while.
- 7:09Speaker 9: They did the talentless and they had to start fucking with
- 7:12Speaker 9: Then they had to start fucking with content and language
- 7:16Speaker 9: and be in PC all that ship that we all
- 7:20Speaker 9: you know, despise and.
- 7:21Speaker 4: All the people they think they've protected ran off the
- 7:23Speaker 4: Netflix and stuff.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Right, they had the world by the ball. Yeah, you
- 7:29Speaker 3: don't have the sheriff Us.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Right, Oh god, I mean I spend most of my
- 7:34Speaker 2: my time on Netflix when I'm looking for ship to watch.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Simple as that.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Now they playing ketchup. Yeah, now all the network's playing
- 7:41Speaker 4: ketchup to Netflix.
- 7:42Speaker 3: What crazy, isn't it? Anyway? Carl is back from Memphis, Tennessee.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Meis fucking awesome, man?
- 7:52Speaker 4: Yes, well, how was the How was the drive? Stay
- 7:55Speaker 4: stayed up with the social media with you?
- 7:57Speaker 6: All right, So my wife's listening, so I gotta be nice.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Well, just tell her for the radio, you're gonna say
- 8:02Speaker 3: some ship. The drive was fucking awful, just for the radio,
- 8:09Speaker 3: just for the radio drive. The first leg though, right,
- 8:12Speaker 3: she drove, but but she drove out of anger. She
- 8:14Speaker 3: was so mad at me. That's good man, you're down
- 8:17Speaker 3: the road.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Fuck and then and then miles an hour because he's
- 8:20Speaker 2: gotta let fud.
- 8:22Speaker 3: She's doing one hundred the big expedition.
- 8:25Speaker 8: The kids that they were in, they were in the
- 8:26Speaker 8: car for thirty one seconds. They lost all the phone
- 8:29Speaker 8: chargers on the headphones. Thirty one seconds.
- 8:32Speaker 1: In the car somewhere and they watch this ship that
- 8:35Speaker 1: will make watch make you serial killer.
- 8:37Speaker 3: They have headphones on at least when he was watching
- 8:38Speaker 3: the ship on the TV. But no, no, they disconnect
- 8:41Speaker 3: the headphones. They have them on, right, but the thing
- 8:44Speaker 3: is just the sounds going on, so you got to
- 8:46Speaker 3: hear it, so you say turn it down.
- 8:48Speaker 8: And then they're like little criminals, like they go up
- 8:50Speaker 8: a little bit twenty minutes later, full blown.
- 8:54Speaker 2: But they watched these videos until they talk back to you,
- 8:56Speaker 2: don't go why didn't you turn your ship?
- 8:58Speaker 6: And nobody talking about that.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Hold over full body?
- 9:03Speaker 8: What do they watch that drives They watch these videos,
- 9:06Speaker 8: YouTube videos of people talking over video games.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, insane. And I grabbed the guy's phone.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I don't have a kid's phone, and I look at
- 9:16Speaker 1: guy's got like a million followers, and this guy's just talking, gibbering.
- 9:19Speaker 3: It's big business. Do they watch patent Gen? I don't know.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Pull out there, no patent Gen. My son is obsessed
- 9:27Speaker 2: with patent gen videos. They just play Minecraft.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Minecraft, that's all I do. Minecraft. And I
- 9:33Speaker 3: look at their I look at their YouTube channel, like
- 9:37Speaker 3: two point five million for doing nothing, and.
- 9:41Speaker 6: They make a ton of money.
- 9:45Speaker 3: They're laughing all the way to the bank and they
- 9:46Speaker 3: make millions.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And then my daughter just talks about some imaginary family,
- 9:50Speaker 2: because there's families that just put their whole lives on YouTube.
- 9:53Speaker 3: And she gives me updates on these kids. I'm like,
- 9:55Speaker 3: who are you? Who is this person? Is she from
- 9:57Speaker 3: your school? Now? She's in Disney right now with the parents,
- 10:01Speaker 3: and it's crazy. It's like, how do you? And then
- 10:04Speaker 3: they all jump on it. You know what's funny?
- 10:06Speaker 6: And that's why these networks are gonna eat shit.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Because you see what my kids.
- 10:10Speaker 8: I got to spend a lot of time watching with
- 10:11Speaker 8: their content, like what they do and what they look at.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Yeah, they didn't turn on a fucking TV.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Oh god, no, it's over.
- 10:19Speaker 8: I'm telling you, it's over, like this whole like CBS.
- 10:23Speaker 8: You could throw that all in the garbage.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah I did.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I just bought an eighty five inch TV too, my
- 10:27Speaker 2: mom as well. Just fucking throw it in the garbage. Yeah,
- 10:30Speaker 2: because I don't even like it. I I'd rather be
- 10:32Speaker 2: on my laptop on Netflix.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Unless the Netflix hooked up to your television. Why they literally.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Don't watch TV because you can't interact with it, you know.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I mean these kids coming up now, the kids before them,
- 10:43Speaker 2: they were still trainable, but these new kids, if they
- 10:47Speaker 2: can't fucking push a button and fool around with the
- 10:49Speaker 2: TV and interact with it. They're they're not interesting. Yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 2: they're done wow, because they get bored fast, so they
- 10:55Speaker 2: move on to another video quickly.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Oh, my kid has like four videos in the queue
- 10:59Speaker 1: which just want and goes. There's nothing that my kid
- 11:02Speaker 1: is doing that the networks are doing all right at all,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and it's and it's mindless entertainment.
- 11:08Speaker 6: It's mindless.
- 11:10Speaker 3: The computer, the phone does all the things and they
- 11:14Speaker 3: just do nothing. Is like a mouse right connected to
- 11:16Speaker 3: the ship.
- 11:18Speaker 8: So we got down in Memphis forty hours sixteen.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I think that's your phone call, by the way, the
- 11:23Speaker 2: reason we didn't do more phone calls with you.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Your phone fucking awful. I got it.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I got hammered for the quality of your not no,
- 11:31Speaker 2: not what he was saying, yeah, yeah, which which is
- 11:35Speaker 2: too bad.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I want to check.
- 11:36Speaker 6: When I heard it on the replay on Sunday, I
- 11:37Speaker 6: heard it was a.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Way, what's up with the food? What do you bring
- 11:52Speaker 3: back here? You brunny name back that stuff and get it.
- 11:54Speaker 3: I'll bring it tomorrow. The the food is incredible. That
- 11:57Speaker 3: was it. Hold on, but let me control a slightly
- 12:00Speaker 3: in a minute, So it was a.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Seventeen hour road trip down to Memphis and that no
- 12:04Speaker 2: more highlights from the actual uh first leg of the trip.
- 12:07Speaker 3: How many times I sucked the whole time? Right? Okay?
- 12:09Speaker 1: My wife wouldn't stop because she she knows I'm gonna
- 12:12Speaker 1: eat junk, you know what I mean?
- 12:14Speaker 8: Like, I love I love highway food. They got Arby's,
- 12:16Speaker 8: and you know these faces have a cinnabon and Arby's.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It's amazing. I love, love, love the fucking road food. Yeah,
- 12:24Speaker 3: that's a problem. I really love it, love it. I
- 12:26Speaker 3: could fucking just keep going. I don't like stopping.
- 12:29Speaker 4: But if I stop, I'm getting right Ron Donuts and
- 12:32Speaker 4: you gotta hit.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Every welcome centers, the straight line. Yeah. The Maryland House,
- 12:37Speaker 3: Who I'm not going to Maryland House when it's open.
- 12:41Speaker 3: It's open, very good. Who said that never fucking open?
- 12:45Speaker 3: For years? It was never open. They got such a
- 12:47Speaker 3: You gotta such a trip by it.
- 12:48Speaker 4: You gotta find the hours and then might make sure
- 12:50Speaker 4: you're there when it's open.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:52Speaker 8: I get down in Memphis and then look at food,
- 12:55Speaker 8: and then I have to have a talk.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I have to have the talk with Marie.
- 12:58Speaker 8: Listen, I'm gonna go now do the barbie, you think, right,
- 13:01Speaker 8: You got to do your own thing.
- 13:02Speaker 3: So it was a little iffy in the beginning, you know,
- 13:05Speaker 3: But did she understand?
- 13:07Speaker 8: You know, she wants to she wants to see what
- 13:09Speaker 8: I'm up to, because I'm always up to no good,
- 13:11Speaker 8: you know what I mean?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Look how happy you are in that picture with that
- 13:13Speaker 3: big was that drink holding?
- 13:14Speaker 4: Oh?
- 13:14Speaker 8: That's that was two people that yelled at me. That
- 13:18Speaker 8: is at a store. That's where I bought all the cameo.
- 13:21Speaker 8: That's a theos. It's a pyramid. It used to be
- 13:24Speaker 8: a stadium.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Right, and they made it into a store and they
- 13:28Speaker 6: got a restaurant in it. They got two restaurants in it.
- 13:30Speaker 6: They have an observation deck.
- 13:32Speaker 3: You can go fishing inside. What it's fucking what do
- 13:35Speaker 3: you mean you can go fishing inside? Oh that's Oh
- 13:39Speaker 3: is that where you're gonna get cameo place?
- 13:43Speaker 6: Look at this? Look those are all fish and they
- 13:44Speaker 6: can teach you how.
- 13:45Speaker 3: To fly fish in.
- 13:45Speaker 6: There and whoa and shooting ranges the luxe or yes,
- 13:49Speaker 6: but white trash.
- 13:52Speaker 3: That's Memphis Pyramid. It's called it's called the bass Pro shops. Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 3: the bass Pro shop. God, am, how much money I'm
- 14:01Speaker 3: making over there.
- 14:02Speaker 6: They're making all the money build the pyramids.
- 14:04Speaker 3: They got farrows, they got video games. Look, you can
- 14:06Speaker 3: test both inside. It's crazy.
- 14:10Speaker 2: We are me and you especially are the dumbest people
- 14:14Speaker 2: on the planet for staying in New York City. We
- 14:16Speaker 2: are down because everywhere else they're fucking doing ship.
- 14:19Speaker 3: We are dumb. We're doing cool ship everywhere else.
- 14:22Speaker 2: And we can't even fucking ride the Long Island Railroad
- 14:24Speaker 2: anymore on the subway.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Everything's falling apart around here. Every tell you how shitty
- 14:28Speaker 3: New York. They got indoor fishing in Memphis. Holy indoor fishing.
- 14:33Speaker 6: But let's get to Memphis in May, right the barbecue Championship.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I want to know what the name of that blue
- 14:37Speaker 3: drink was, because I'm a fan of this.
- 14:40Speaker 6: I think I'm not the blue Hawaiian.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm a fan of
- 14:43Speaker 3: the faggy drinks. I'm out a fan of the faggy drinks.
- 14:47Speaker 6: It had gummy bears in it.
- 14:49Speaker 10: Oh my gosh, Harry's paracou or whatever the little blue
- 14:54Speaker 10: car course out course out I would have took.

- 15:27Speaker 3: I bought everybody cameo happy car walking around with a glow.
- 15:33Speaker 3: That's a lot of alcohol. That reminds me of the
- 15:34Speaker 3: scorpion bowls up there in Harvard. What was the scorpion
- 15:38Speaker 3: bowl is?
- 15:39Speaker 2: I forgot the name of the place. Chinese join in Harvard.
- 15:41Speaker 2: They're legendary for the scorpion bowls. But when you order one,
- 15:44Speaker 2: you got to point to all the people you're sharing.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yes, they don't. They don't funk.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Around because there's more than one person.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I'm trying to remember. I think it's like I think
- 15:52Speaker 3: it's for like four and if you're not pointing out
- 15:54Speaker 3: the four, they're not going to serve you. The Scorpion
- 15:56Speaker 3: Bowl in Harvard and they scream that you opened this bowl.
- 15:58Speaker 8: The lady was a little you know, because she's like,
- 16:00Speaker 8: you drank that pretty fast. You're by yourself, you know
- 16:03Speaker 8: what I mean. I'm like, yeah, yeah, She's like, I
- 16:06Speaker 8: can have another one. She's like, no, no, you can't shop.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Were you fucked up? I was fucking wasted off that one.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I'm sure I had a beer in a car too.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm look at that bowl, man's delicious.
- 16:20Speaker 3: How much alcohol? I mean how much liquid? Is is
- 16:22Speaker 3: it called the adult fish bowl? Yes, the adult fishball,
- 16:25Speaker 3: that's what it is.
- 16:26Speaker 6: So I got and then so it's this little place
- 16:29Speaker 6: I can't I can't stuff.
- 16:34Speaker 4: He's got an orange lime, what looks like, I don't know,
- 16:38Speaker 4: a lemon, some cherries.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Apple mango. Right, So there, my son is angry. Was like,
- 16:45Speaker 3: domy worms. Some of them have sweedish fish in the drink.
- 16:48Speaker 3: That's my sweetish fish. Got it from a nightclub in Chelsea.
- 16:55Speaker 8: My kids have set there because what I kept doing
- 16:57Speaker 8: in the South was tricking them with food.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Yeah. So he's like, I'll get the chicken fingers.
- 17:02Speaker 6: I'm like, yep, alligator, you know what I mean.
- 17:05Speaker 3: It's all fried. So he didn't like it, no, because then.
- 17:09Speaker 6: I told him was alligatory.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Freak. Let me tell you something. In the South, they'll
- 17:13Speaker 3: fry a sneaker is better than anything you.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Of course they understand honey, salt, season everything.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah, there's not a lot of skinny people in Memphis.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Carl had a post absolutely normal, like a normal person
- 17:29Speaker 8: in Memphis.
- 17:31Speaker 6: Every store had my size. Every time.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Small do you have? You didn't have to have to
- 17:38Speaker 3: ask anyone to go on the back. Let me check
- 17:41Speaker 3: it the back, Like here at the show Jersey, that's.
- 17:46Speaker 6: Every pants. I bought like twenty pairs of pants because
- 17:49Speaker 6: they all have elastics.
- 17:50Speaker 3: The Tomahawks, come on, they'll just give over to Tomahawks.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Where's the Tomahawks? That store is so incredible. Before you
- 17:58Speaker 3: get back when he's talking about chicking hisids with the food,
- 18:00Speaker 3: Oh y'all. All. Had a post in Memphis where this
- 18:03Speaker 3: kid asked him what no Memphis known for? And he
- 18:06Speaker 3: said spaghetti. So my kid has been a brats. I'm like,
- 18:09Speaker 3: I'll get you. So he's like, what what are we
- 18:12Speaker 3: known for? Here? And uh, now, go on my Instagram.
- 18:15Speaker 3: It'll tape forever on this sake. So so we got
- 18:17Speaker 3: woar chef on Instagram if you want to follow along.
- 18:19Speaker 6: So I tell my kid, get the spaghetti. Swhere at
- 18:21Speaker 6: a place called mister Catfish.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Since nineteen seventy one.
- 18:25Speaker 6: There hasn't been a white person in here since nineteen
- 18:28Speaker 6: seventy one.
- 18:28Speaker 8: Okay, just the first health inspection. It's in the blackest
- 18:31Speaker 8: part of Memphis. Already do fried shrimp, crabs and cats.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I'm about to pass out. So they have.
- 18:39Speaker 8: Mister cat go go, no, no, those are those are
- 18:42Speaker 8: peel and each shrimp from Mobon's in Mississippi.
- 18:44Speaker 6: Mister Catfish right there there on the left right, the
- 18:47Speaker 6: down down one.
- 18:48Speaker 3: That's OPI come on, come on now, say anything about
- 18:52Speaker 3: calories right now? Kill you? So that the catfish. Yes,
- 18:58Speaker 3: So my kid goes, My kid goes.
- 19:00Speaker 6: What are they known for?
- 19:00Speaker 3: Here? I got the spaghetti.
- 19:02Speaker 8: So they have like a side of spaghetti and it
- 19:05Speaker 8: literally tastes like ragu with rat poisoning. So my kid,
- 19:09Speaker 8: you know, eats at my restaurant, so he knows red sauce,
- 19:12Speaker 8: and they bring it and they chop up the spaghetti
- 19:15Speaker 8: and It's like pizza sauce.
- 19:16Speaker 3: From a jar.
- 19:17Speaker 6: And I watched this kid just suffer through it, and
- 19:20Speaker 6: he keeps asking me a little questions like this is
- 19:22Speaker 6: the best?
- 19:24Speaker 3: Really?
- 19:26Speaker 6: I meanwhile, I mean in Hush Puppies, Look at the
- 19:30Speaker 6: hush puppies.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Look at the perfectly golden and there's such professional fryers.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Everything's fried to a different color. Yes, you know, I mean,
- 19:38Speaker 3: let me have different fryers, different temperatures. These are these
- 19:41Speaker 3: are these are the surgeons a frying This is this
- 19:43Speaker 3: is heaven for you, right, Carl? Oh my god, it's
- 19:46Speaker 3: the best time in my life? My god? How many?
- 19:47Speaker 3: How many calories you think I was dumping?
- 19:50Speaker 8: I was up in ten thousand a day, easy, easy
- 19:53Speaker 8: with thus maybe twenty.
- 19:54Speaker 2: That was That was a legit question. That was fucking around.
- 19:58Speaker 2: How many do you really think you were taken in
- 20:00Speaker 2: a day?
- 20:01Speaker 1: I mean, at one point, I know, I drank four
- 20:03Speaker 1: leaders of Hawaiian punch mixed with vodka.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Wow, okay, and one day right, okay, sugar was high.
- 20:12Speaker 3: My left eye was not really working to the peripheral. God,
- 20:16Speaker 3: what's the twitch? I was walking around that fucking event
- 20:20Speaker 3: like a roomba direction and the thing is everybody. Everybody.
- 20:29Speaker 8: Everybody knows me and they love they loved me because
- 20:32Speaker 8: I eat everything they give me, you know what I mean.
- 20:34Speaker 3: So that looks incredible. So the number one spot, you.
- 20:37Speaker 6: Gotta go down there. Every team, So there's over one.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Thousand teams right now. A lot of the teams are scrubs.
- 20:44Speaker 3: You know what I mean. The barbecue, Yeah, the barbecue.
- 20:47Speaker 6: So there's over a thousand teams. So a lot of
- 20:49Speaker 6: the teams are scrubs.
- 20:51Speaker 3: But then you start.
- 20:52Speaker 8: You go what they call Winner's Row, and that's where
- 20:54Speaker 8: all the boys are, and that's where we chill, okay,
- 20:56Speaker 8: and they all put their trophies out in the front.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Now who's on row? Who might we see?
- 21:00Speaker 8: The Big Bob Gibson, Chris on Everything peg Leg peg
- 21:05Speaker 8: leg Smokers.
- 21:06Speaker 6: He's a guy who hung out with he's got one leg,
- 21:08Speaker 6: so they called peg.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Leggers barbecue leg. He to me, he's unbelievable, he tells people.
- 21:14Speaker 3: That's the long story. But anyway, he's incredible.
- 21:17Speaker 8: That's who I hang out with most of the peg
- 21:19Speaker 8: leg because he does he does white trash karaoke and
- 21:22Speaker 8: he has his own alcohol that was it's called the
- 21:24Speaker 8: fever and they make it a natural Jesus and it's
- 21:28Speaker 8: just pure sugar and alcohol and it's yellow like andy free.
- 21:31Speaker 6: Is called the fever.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I want it. So you're down in the hill, Come out, Carl,
- 21:34Speaker 3: you caught the fever. Carl fell down again. Don't get him.
- 21:38Speaker 3: So then at one point they tag a little rope
- 21:40Speaker 3: to me, so I don't fall in the Mississippi River.
- 21:43Speaker 3: No ship, really, no ship. We need a video of that.
- 21:47Speaker 6: They drink so hard, right, and they're so professional.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Who may he makes his own that own?
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yeah, he has a twelve year old scottsh that's an
- 21:55Speaker 1: award winning he distills it himself.
- 21:57Speaker 6: They'd make it himself.
- 21:58Speaker 3: I mean, you think these guys are hicks, but they're
- 22:00Speaker 3: the way to the bank. And they have such a
- 22:02Speaker 3: good life. So they have these rigs, they call them rigs.
- 22:05Speaker 8: And then you have a smoker in a kitchen and
- 22:07Speaker 8: they build a little patio upstairs, and you look at
- 22:09Speaker 8: all the girls. So when the girls walk by, you
- 22:12Speaker 8: know what I mean.
- 22:13Speaker 3: You go bones and hot meat, bones and hot meat.
- 22:16Speaker 6: And then the girls come and eat some barbecue, and
- 22:18Speaker 6: you just meet everybody.
- 22:20Speaker 3: It's incredible. Bones.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Were you just drunk and hungover drunk because I drank
- 22:27Speaker 2: the hole just kept going.
- 22:28Speaker 3: How many hours sleep were you getting a night?
- 22:30Speaker 6: I would I slept maybe four hours before I was
- 22:34Speaker 6: up earlier.
- 22:34Speaker 3: You see the barbecue. How many how many days were
- 22:36Speaker 3: you down there?
- 22:36Speaker 5: Four days?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Four days? What was the best thing you ate? The
- 22:40Speaker 3: best when it's all said and done.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I saw all the pictures on your Instagram, some board
- 22:44Speaker 2: chef in the end, what was the best thing where
- 22:46Speaker 2: you want?
- 22:47Speaker 3: Holy fuck, this takes.
- 22:48Speaker 6: It the best thing that I ate, wash.
- 22:53Speaker 3: The crab.
- 22:54Speaker 6: I think if you go up here, if you go
- 22:56Speaker 6: up here, that thing right there, see that hamburger?
- 22:59Speaker 8: Yeah, so this was in Bill Deurney's tent. Bill Derney
- 23:04Speaker 8: is the only barbecue guy in the country with a
- 23:06Speaker 8: mitchellin star. So he's even in France. He's considered a
- 23:09Speaker 8: bad motherfucker, right, So it's like the tent to be in, right,
- 23:13Speaker 8: because he's like, you know, it's like super classy Pappy
- 23:16Speaker 8: van Winkle on the everyone's drinking Patty van Winkle.
- 23:19Speaker 3: It's the ship right my spot.
- 23:21Speaker 6: So Billy goes, you want to hunt, you want a
- 23:23Speaker 6: hamburger to make you punch your wife? I said, yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 6: So this is from a company. So these are all
- 23:31Speaker 6: the New Yorkers down there.
- 23:32Speaker 8: So to be a New Yorker and to be invited
- 23:34Speaker 8: the Memphis in May, you gotta be good because they
- 23:36Speaker 8: don't like a Yankee down there, right right, So this
- 23:38Speaker 8: is how good this guy is.
- 23:39Speaker 6: So that meat is made in New York City by
- 23:42Speaker 6: a company called Pat la Frida.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I know that. I think I know so. I think
- 23:49Speaker 3: he's been in here right arc with some ship I

- 32:32Speaker 8: There's two private jets on them. Yeah, you get to
- 32:35Speaker 8: go on us beautiful jets. And then you get to
- 32:38Speaker 8: you get to tour the house alone without fucking everybody

- 32:44Speaker 8: you through it.
- 32:45Speaker 3: How was the bedroom? You smell pus?
- 32:46Speaker 8: You're not allowed upstairs because he died up there, And

- 32:55Speaker 3: Look it up, look it up. She's there all the
- 32:58Speaker 3: fucking time. She lives there full time, she goes there
- 33:00Speaker 3: with her kids. She loves it.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Man, let another generation pass and they'll they'll take you
- 33:05Speaker 2: right through the fucking bedroom.
- 33:06Speaker 3: You know that dies, that's gonna happen. It's not you know,
- 33:09Speaker 3: personal to anybody. I didn't how much you think you
- 33:12Speaker 3: could pay to go upstairs?
- 33:14Speaker 6: Now they liked Definitely some people.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Get up there that you know. Michael Jackson went up there.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Michael Jackson was probably he was married to us, right,
- 33:22Speaker 3: But I wonder I look at that gaudy ship either,
- 33:25Speaker 3: like was he a gypsy?
- 33:26Speaker 4: I loved I loved it, love it like what Donald
- 33:30Speaker 4: Trump the house would like in the seventy Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 3: His basement is so dope. That's the kitchen. Yeah. Explain
- 33:35Speaker 3: uh yeah, just explain Graceland. Everybody so Graceland.
- 33:39Speaker 8: You know when you when you pull up, it's a
- 33:40Speaker 8: beautiful house. Was built in the thirties, and you immediately
- 33:44Speaker 8: get the idea, like he bought the.
- 33:46Speaker 3: House when he was twenty two.
- 33:47Speaker 6: Wow, so you could tell he didn't have any money,
- 33:51Speaker 6: you know.
- 33:51Speaker 3: What I mean? Yeah, like he there was new money.
- 33:54Speaker 3: This is now money is so new.
- 33:55Speaker 6: But he came from such from such a poor place,
- 33:58Speaker 6: right that he thought the house was big.
- 33:59Speaker 3: It's not that big. Really, hopey you'd be you'd be
- 34:02Speaker 3: cramped in there, you know what I mean.
- 34:05Speaker 8: But all the furniture, like like that couch, that white
- 34:08Speaker 8: couch there on the right, is all custom made, all blue.
- 34:12Speaker 3: They showed the receipt for that. You see those two.
- 34:14Speaker 8: Peacock glasses with Tiffany glass twenty grand each in nineteen
- 34:19Speaker 8: sixty four.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Jesus, you know what I mean. So right now they
- 34:22Speaker 3: probably a millionaires that house. That's priceless shit in it.
- 34:25Speaker 8: The jungle room is absolutely fucking bunkers on the right,
- 34:31Speaker 8: and he turned.
- 34:31Speaker 3: He put carpet on the ceilings of the wall. There
- 34:35Speaker 3: go to a degree. He has a green carpet.
- 34:36Speaker 12: Now right, good pills he would get done downstairs whom.
- 34:49Speaker 1: In the basement there was a pool room and you
- 34:50Speaker 1: could tell that's where they got fucking crooked.
- 34:53Speaker 6: Down there, really and pol swimming pool like a like
- 34:57Speaker 6: a shooting pool, shooting pool.
- 34:58Speaker 3: And the whole room is covered in like in fabric.
- 35:00Speaker 3: It's insane. Look a look at the three TVs.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Of place.
- 35:05Speaker 3: So that that room was built for by r c
- 35:07Speaker 3: A for him.
- 35:09Speaker 8: So he bought three TVs because he saw the President
- 35:11Speaker 8: when he went to go get his Dea badge. Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 8: he saw that he was watching three TV's at the
- 35:15Speaker 8: same time, so he had put three TVs.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah, he shot everything in the house. He shot with
- 35:22Speaker 3: a gun. You know, I never saw the TV that
- 35:25Speaker 3: he shot until you posted it on your Instagram. Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 3: But what there's more. They have a whole wall of
- 35:32Speaker 3: ship when he shot.
- 35:34Speaker 8: When they showed like, uh, some team lost the Super
- 35:37Speaker 8: Bowl and he had the flyer for it. He shot
- 35:39Speaker 8: the flyer. Then he has a Pantera yellow Pantera and
- 35:43Speaker 8: it didn't start, so he shot the pan Tera shot.
- 35:47Speaker 8: He walked around fully loaded all the time, waiting to
- 35:49Speaker 8: shoot something.
- 35:53Speaker 3: But he just look at that. That's good. I know
- 35:55Speaker 3: you can't see it, but if you go to some
- 35:56Speaker 3: board chef on Instagram. That was the coolest thing ever
- 35:58Speaker 3: when they showed no One's it was so weird about
- 36:01Speaker 3: that TV. That was state of the art back in
- 36:03Speaker 3: the day. Oh yeah, like he went and that was
- 36:05Speaker 3: like this is what you need right here. That was
- 36:08Speaker 3: like the first color TV and it looks like ship
- 36:11Speaker 3: to compared to what we got.
- 36:15Speaker 8: On his plane on his porting he had he had
- 36:18Speaker 8: a telephone that can talk to anyone in the world
- 36:20Speaker 8: only there and Air Force one.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so I mean he was above and beyond. And
- 36:25Speaker 1: when you realize we love those gadgets. He had a
- 36:27Speaker 1: place called the Trophy Room, which is a place it's
- 36:30Speaker 1: literally like ten of these studios.
- 36:32Speaker 8: You walk through it and that's when you see, like,
- 36:34Speaker 8: holy shit, this guy had money, Like everything was custom made.
- 36:38Speaker 1: But he was a Memphis boy. He wouldn't he wouldn't
- 36:41Speaker 1: leave there. And the house is kept bigger, and he
- 36:43Speaker 1: kept doing additions, but he would stay and he.
- 36:45Speaker 5: Kept added a distance to the house.
- 36:47Speaker 3: That's his trophy room. And it's incredible.
- 36:49Speaker 6: It's just incredible.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Ship that he was.
- 36:52Speaker 8: No one in our lifetime will be that famous Mike,
- 36:56Speaker 8: Mike jack was, oh Michael Jackson.
- 36:58Speaker 3: But in his time, he was bigger than everybody.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yeah, because they had a lot more people's attention. Yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 2: you know, there's way too many distractions now, I agree,
- 37:06Speaker 2: So yeah, it's harder to become something like that, almost impossible.
- 37:09Speaker 6: But he was a homebody, which was weird, right, you
- 37:11Speaker 6: know what I mean?
- 37:13Speaker 3: Of course he was a home buddy. He couldn't just
- 37:15Speaker 3: leave all the time. Yeah he was. He couldn't even
- 37:19Speaker 3: fucking go to his mailbox. What about the grave site?
- 37:24Speaker 3: That was really creepy.
- 37:25Speaker 6: It felt like they bury their dogs in the backyard.
- 37:27Speaker 3: It's literally right in the backyards right there, Like how
- 37:30Speaker 3: far from the house, not even fifty feet? Oh my god? Really,
- 37:34Speaker 3: oh my god, what's right there?
- 37:37Speaker 6: That's the house right behind It's it's unsettling.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Way to bum everyone out there wants to go first swim.
- 37:42Speaker 8: The best of my kids, like, oh, look what's going
- 37:44Speaker 8: on over there? I'm like, oh my god, everything got sad.
- 37:48Speaker 3: I was like nine dead people back there. Yeah, who else?
- 37:51Speaker 3: Mother's there? He's still born twin.
- 37:54Speaker 6: Yeah, the baby's back there. They bought everybody.
- 37:56Speaker 3: You know, he was a twin. He was a twin.
- 37:58Speaker 6: The still boards back there.
- 37:59Speaker 3: He's still born brother. Yeah, that's some ship they So
- 38:04Speaker 3: his brother was born still born. So did they do
- 38:07Speaker 3: the baby up somewhere else? And yet they brought the baby.
- 38:09Speaker 3: I don't think all these people up and they brought him.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I don't think Elvis is twin. Uh lived to live today.
- 38:15Speaker 3: There's a little grave. Yeah, the little grave is creepy. Wait,
- 38:18Speaker 3: what's a little that's what a little little Jesse Jesse
- 38:22Speaker 3: Garren Presley. Yeah, they brought that ship from somewhere. His uh,
- 38:26Speaker 3: there was a bit of a drop off in his career. No, God,
- 38:33Speaker 3: you're an awful a drop off between the twins. He
- 38:38Speaker 3: was born a twin and a twin died. Ye, So
- 38:40Speaker 3: they brought him there at birth. I think it was
- 38:42Speaker 3: a stillborn. Yeah.
- 38:43Speaker 6: I don't know if they kept him in a jar.
- 38:45Speaker 3: I don't know how they got him there, but he's there.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Elvis killed another baby.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Only one of us are gonna be famous. Got his
- 38:55Speaker 2: twin with the umbilical cord like a shark.
- 38:57Speaker 3: He's a shark. He never he never came downstairs unless
- 39:01Speaker 3: he was fully gemmed up and jeweled up. Isn't that crazy? Really?
- 39:04Speaker 6: So he stayed upstairs the whole time, and then whenever
- 39:06Speaker 6: someone would visit on me.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Is that how with Liberaci? Sure? That is? Yes, back
- 39:11Speaker 3: when the everybody's like Libarachi is straight, white people are
- 39:15Speaker 3: gonna settle down. I find yourself a nice lady goddess
- 39:20Speaker 3: woman out of him, right. Oh, I was thinking about it.
- 39:27Speaker 5: As he grabbed the spearls.
- 39:29Speaker 6: What he had the worst, the worst taste in cars,
- 39:33Speaker 6: O Elvis, Oh.
- 39:34Speaker 5: My god, so they have to have the fence and
- 39:36Speaker 5: a brick wall around the rocket.
- 39:37Speaker 3: You're looking at it? Man? Maybe he had doug. His
- 39:41Speaker 3: taste was good for the time. No, no, what made it?
- 39:44Speaker 3: What made it?
- 39:44Speaker 4: Uh?
- 39:46Speaker 3: What made it? What am I trying to say?
- 39:50Speaker 8: Paul? Can you pull up Elvis Presley's purple nineteen seventy
- 39:53Speaker 8: five Lincoln, Thank.
- 39:54Speaker 3: You be beautiful? Sounds like a beautiful car. Maybe he
- 39:57Speaker 3: was color blinde maybe he was the first prey purple.
- 40:00Speaker 4: It is fucking thing purple purple.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Yes, I love that like a batman. Call one of
- 40:11Speaker 3: those three shitty cars. They give you a grand theft auto.
- 40:16Speaker 3: But the scene in real life, I would love you.
- 40:18Speaker 3: That's badass. Call that is not badass. He just a
- 40:25Speaker 3: black person. Call.
- 40:26Speaker 4: He buying Lincoln Continentals and Lincoln's and Caddies, So it's
- 40:30Speaker 4: I got any other black person I know?
- 40:32Speaker 8: Yeah, he would buy only Lincolns and Caddies until he
- 40:35Speaker 8: went to England for something and then he wrote in
- 40:37Speaker 8: a Rolls Royce and then it was all Rolls Royce
- 40:39Speaker 8: from there?
- 40:40Speaker 3: Do you do you pay extra money to smell the seat?
- 40:43Speaker 3: What the fuck, I would smell the seat in the car.
- 40:46Speaker 3: Do you want to smell Elvis?
- 40:48Speaker 5: But whoever?
- 40:48Speaker 3: He said, But you couldn't get in there. I tried
- 40:51Speaker 3: to get into the because I wanted to see the
- 40:53Speaker 3: bullet hole, and I saw I would have smelled everything
- 40:55Speaker 3: in that house.
- 40:56Speaker 6: You shot the fucking car.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Did you ask him if they saved? What was in
- 41:00Speaker 3: the toilet when he died?
- 41:01Speaker 6: I didn't ask him that.
- 41:02Speaker 3: No, I didn't know.
- 41:03Speaker 6: I'm with my family.
- 41:04Speaker 3: What the fuck is wrong?
- 41:05Speaker 4: I would have tried to pay money to see that
- 41:06Speaker 4: bathroom now, ye, yeah, and it's on that toilet?
- 41:08Speaker 3: And did he die what exactly? He had a heart
- 41:11Speaker 3: attack or whatever on the toilet? Overdose from ship?
- 41:15Speaker 8: Was that?
- 41:15Speaker 3: What if? That's what?
- 41:16Speaker 8: You know?
- 41:17Speaker 3: It's real? You know? How did he die? Maybe a
- 41:18Speaker 3: call and let somebody call and to tell us, I know,
- 41:20Speaker 3: if somebody's out there. I mean, it was the drugs,
- 41:22Speaker 3: but I think it wasn't it a heart attack?
- 41:24Speaker 6: He was going that day, he was starting his world
- 41:26Speaker 6: tour for something. Right?
- 41:27Speaker 3: That heart attack? Heart attack from what though he was
- 41:29Speaker 3: only thirty something? Right, he beat the shit out of
- 41:33Speaker 3: his body. But listen, he made it the fifty to
- 41:37Speaker 3: four whatever, jeseus thirty three. I think, yeah, so this
- 41:41Speaker 3: was drug related, uh herd graduation when he was not
- 41:45Speaker 3: even how old was he forty forty two ish? I
- 41:49Speaker 3: think what forty? Yeah? What was he forty two? Nineteen
- 41:53Speaker 3: thirty five to nineteen seventy seven? Damn Yeah, he loved
- 41:57Speaker 3: some life. Man, want you shet a tear the grave?
- 42:01Speaker 6: No, I was completely freaked out. I thought the Thegus
- 42:03Speaker 6: creep shop.
- 42:04Speaker 3: It was just creepy. It was creepy.
- 42:05Speaker 6: It's in the backyard.
- 42:06Speaker 4: You have a sort of shit with Elvis was so
- 42:08Speaker 4: he was talking about when he came to DC. He
- 42:10Speaker 4: did that Lives in Vegas and he did like an interview.
- 42:14Speaker 4: It was like one of his live performance, but he
- 42:15Speaker 4: was just talking because he talked a lot before songs.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Half the songs. This motherfucker. It was just fascinating ship man.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Yeah, Well after you see the grave, do they kind
- 42:24Speaker 2: of escort you back to the curb?
- 42:26Speaker 8: Not us because we were the VIPs, but the people
- 42:28Speaker 8: that paid, like the one ninety nine to see the
- 42:30Speaker 8: toy were literally in a headlocked the whole time.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Like I saw, He's like, what's with those people? Why
- 42:39Speaker 3: are they a full Nelson. I'm like, oh, that's the
- 42:40Speaker 3: Dollar tour, like, don't touch, don't do like, so where
- 42:43Speaker 3: do you go?
- 42:44Speaker 8: Where does the I just walk around with some dune
- 42:46Speaker 8: and he was telling us whatever they would tell.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Us, and then I do it.
- 42:51Speaker 8: And then I got him jammed up because I what's
- 42:53Speaker 8: the I'm not a giant Elvis fan, obviously you know
- 42:55Speaker 8: what I mean.
- 42:55Speaker 3: So I am. I'm a big Elvis cent big. My
- 42:58Speaker 3: friends got me into it.
- 42:59Speaker 6: They had a smoke on the property, which is awesome.
- 43:01Speaker 3: He used to smoke their own meats.
- 43:02Speaker 6: His father in law was a big you know, barbecue guys.
- 43:07Speaker 3: So yeah, that's right, that's right.
- 43:10Speaker 6: So he showed me this old.
- 43:11Speaker 8: Vintage smokehouse and then the kids wanted to see the
- 43:13Speaker 8: horses or his horses are still there.
- 43:15Speaker 3: It's talking about Vegas stage.
- 43:21Speaker 1: But once we got to the graves, I only lasted
- 43:24Speaker 1: a couple seconds there because it literally was unsettling because
- 43:28Speaker 1: just the size of the plaques and then the candle
- 43:31Speaker 1: they have a can see that candle.
- 43:33Speaker 8: That the candle, and then it's got the description that's
- 43:35Speaker 8: his bodyguards that used to chill with him. So it's
- 43:38Speaker 8: a big I'm sorry, and I thank you at the
- 43:40Speaker 8: same time. And then that's always and then that's the
- 43:42Speaker 8: house right there. Wow, and you know there's dead people there.
- 43:48Speaker 8: It's a little it's a memory fountain.
- 43:51Speaker 3: But when I went, you seem they didn't have any of.
- 43:53Speaker 6: These flowers up or anything, so it was just dead
- 43:55Speaker 6: grass and that.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Oh wow.
- 43:57Speaker 6: Yeah, dude, it was like eerie.
- 43:59Speaker 3: You know what I mean. There was no out of this.
- 44:00Speaker 6: It wasn't a sunny day.
- 44:01Speaker 3: It's raining.
- 44:03Speaker 8: And then you have like people that just they gotta
- 44:05Speaker 8: let it go right, They're crying all the songs on
- 44:09Speaker 8: this one lady put a fucking song on her phone.
- 44:11Speaker 6: I want to kick her in the fucking chest.
- 44:13Speaker 10: When she was playing a song on it was the
- 44:16Speaker 10: first time that my eye fucking worked on a stranger,
- 44:19Speaker 10: Like all my kids, I fuck him and I stare
- 44:22Speaker 10: at them.
- 44:22Speaker 3: I think the last thing. Elvis wants to turn it off.
- 44:24Speaker 6: All of a sudden, I'm sitting there, We're looking at
- 44:26Speaker 6: the grave.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Right here, are you loan someome? I'm like, who the
- 44:30Speaker 3: what fucking Walmart reject is fucking doing it? And there
- 44:34Speaker 3: she is.
- 44:35Speaker 6: Bro she had stretchy pants all the way up to
- 44:36Speaker 6: her Adams apple.
- 44:38Speaker 3: I mean just she was a monster. Like she had
- 44:40Speaker 3: a shirt with dreamcatchers and dolphins and.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Ship, and I just stared at her with such anger
- 44:45Speaker 1: and disgust that you just hear you low and just
- 44:49Speaker 1: she's like that guy's gonna last.
- 44:50Speaker 3: Thing he wants is an Elvis song.
- 44:53Speaker 8: But you know you have like you know, it's like
- 44:56Speaker 8: four people from Alabama that came me and my kids,
- 44:59Speaker 8: my kids little He has his phone up looking for
- 45:01Speaker 8: Wi Fi.
- 45:01Speaker 3: He can give a fuck what's going on right? The
- 45:06Speaker 3: what is it Elvis? One? Is it Elvis? Two? Is
- 45:09Speaker 3: it Elvis? Three? My daughter's first time with a friend
- 45:14Speaker 3: in New Jersey? Like this sucks and Carl's mean, that's awesome.
- 45:22Speaker 5: They don't appreciate it.
- 45:23Speaker 3: And then I started hearing are you loans? I go, no, dude,
- 45:26Speaker 3: and she's like literally.
- 45:27Speaker 8: And then there's all the Japanese tourists they call, oh yeah,
- 45:30Speaker 8: love that ship.
- 45:32Speaker 3: They think it's part of the tour, won't they do
- 45:35Speaker 3: they play any music during the tour? Now, no no,
- 45:38Speaker 3: and our tour they didn't in the one ninety nine too.
- 45:40Speaker 3: I don't think you even allowed in certain parts of
- 45:42Speaker 3: the house because the old lady's upstairs. She doesn't want
- 45:44Speaker 3: to hear that ship all day every day.
- 45:49Speaker 1: But there was there was some people that were on
- 45:50Speaker 1: the tour that were real big Elvis people in our tour.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Stay away from them, bro, they're not right.
- 45:57Speaker 1: They're not right in because they do like the worst thing,
- 45:59Speaker 1: Like they're trying to catch the guy that's giving us
- 46:01Speaker 1: the tour, like like try to get his triva with
- 46:04Speaker 1: Like Colombo questions.
- 46:05Speaker 8: Wasn't Elvis's save favorite socks blue?
- 46:08Speaker 3: I'm like, shut up, lady. So there's a lot of right,
- 46:15Speaker 3: oh my god, anything, no, no swag. I didn't buy anything.
- 46:20Speaker 3: I bought.
- 46:21Speaker 8: I bought a taking care of business hat at this store.
- 46:25Speaker 8: It's called Landski's Coolest fucking Cling Short. It's the store
- 46:28Speaker 8: that that dressed him when he was when he was great.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Land supporting his whole community around him is bigger than Memphis.
- 46:36Speaker 6: Yeah, the dollars that go in there, I can't explain
- 46:40Speaker 6: it to you.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Is there, but there are they spreading the money around.
- 46:42Speaker 13: I'm sure the whole town's got to be getting something.
- 46:45Speaker 13: Nobody hotels, the hotel, the restaurant. So the actual area
- 46:49Speaker 13: is a shithole. Afghanistan drives me you better.
- 46:53Speaker 8: It's better to go on a tour Syria. That that
- 46:56Speaker 8: neighborhood around there that drives me. Let me tell you
- 47:00Speaker 8: something about the South. There's some places you don't know
- 47:03Speaker 8: it's the ghetto till things pop off, you know, because
- 47:05Speaker 8: everything's kind of low level of their buildings. We got
- 47:07Speaker 8: there at eleven thirty in the morning. We're like, this
- 47:11Speaker 8: the ghetto, but no one's outside.
- 47:13Speaker 3: He was raining. We still knew it was bad.
- 47:15Speaker 6: There was like car sparked in the front grass, back grass,
- 47:17Speaker 6: on the roof of the house.
- 47:21Speaker 3: It was people in the ring with no shirts screaming.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Jamal Jamal Like, You're like, I gotta get the fuck
- 47:26Speaker 3: out of here. Someth's gonna get here. Did they ever
- 47:28Speaker 3: find Jamal? No, James, you're not concerned about j.
- 47:32Speaker 6: Wife didn't let me buy that.
- 47:33Speaker 3: I wanted to buy the wedding jacket. That's his wedding jacket. Wait,
- 47:36Speaker 3: which one? That's that's what he wore his wedding. Yeah,
- 47:39Speaker 3: this company dressed him his whole life. It's so dope, dude,
- 47:43Speaker 3: you should have bought that. She didn't. She didn't let me.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Oh, you should have got that.
- 47:48Speaker 4: I know, carr order online when she's sleeping the Yeah,
- 47:55Speaker 4: it was unbelievable.
- 47:57Speaker 1: And I went there to hate it. I went there
- 47:59Speaker 1: to hate it. But he's such a real star and
- 48:02Speaker 1: you start seeing like all the Memorabilians.
- 48:04Speaker 3: That's badass. I would love to go to Grace. And
- 48:06Speaker 3: they had like a whole wall of ship that he shot,
- 48:08Speaker 3: which that's it. I was all in. I say, he
- 48:11Speaker 3: shot that car, he shot that book, he shot the phone.
- 48:14Speaker 3: He would shoot everything. That Brown shot a lot of
- 48:18Speaker 3: stuff too. Really, really, he's a big star. You got
- 48:21Speaker 3: a gun, you want to shoot it. That's the only
- 48:22Speaker 3: reason you get a gun. You got to shoot his gun.
- 48:24Speaker 3: And then he had a he had his whole wall.
- 48:26Speaker 6: He was addicted to fucking being a cop.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, definitely, we know that, we know. But he
- 48:31Speaker 3: has all He had a whole wall just with his badges.
- 48:33Speaker 3: And he went to the White House uninvited by the way.
- 48:35Speaker 6: Oh yeaheah, they tell you the story there and fucked
- 48:38Speaker 6: up too.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Why is the kite? Why is the kite? But then
- 48:43Speaker 3: came in with a gun. I'm not sure. He showed
- 48:46Speaker 3: up at the guard tower.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Basically he said I'm here to see the president and
- 48:49Speaker 2: everyone they didn't know what the fun.
- 48:51Speaker 4: He went to the DA offense and they told him
- 48:53Speaker 4: they couldn't un that badge. Only the president could do anything.
- 48:55Speaker 4: That motherfucker said, I'm going to see the president.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Didn't know who he was anyone with a loaded gun.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yes, well they took they took the loaded gun away
- 49:03Speaker 2: from him, and then yeah, they gave it to the president.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Well then he had a loaded gun as the gift
- 49:08Speaker 2: for the president as well.
- 49:09Speaker 4: But he was packing to nobody's that famous in the world,
- 49:13Speaker 4: and the world would ever be never again.
- 49:16Speaker 3: Nobody's that famous but Elvis and Nixon, no one. Nixon
- 49:19Speaker 3: was like, what the fuck, and his daughter's basically said, no,
- 49:22Speaker 3: this would be cool. Get a picture with Elvis, and
- 49:24Speaker 3: he didn't know it was.
- 49:25Speaker 2: And it's the number one thing they sell down there
- 49:26Speaker 2: in Washington, is that the Nickson slash Elvis Presley pictures and.
- 49:30Speaker 3: All his badges. And there was some police department and
- 49:33Speaker 3: that in Mississippi or.
- 49:34Speaker 6: Tennessee or something.
- 49:35Speaker 3: They made him a police captain. Yeah, yeah, he was
- 49:38Speaker 3: a sheriff. So he'd walk around just fully packing like
- 49:41Speaker 3: a cop. D A.
- 49:42Speaker 4: He had the dea Batman more drugs than anybody. That's
- 49:47Speaker 4: the most famous dude.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Of all time man drugs and he was he was
- 49:52Speaker 3: in with the da Elvis could do no.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Wrong in his country. You you bound to die early
- 49:58Speaker 5: with that kind of ship.
- 49:59Speaker 3: No ship.
- 50:00Speaker 8: And there's people there just lying to themselves like they
- 50:01Speaker 8: have like little videos in the house of like him,
- 50:03Speaker 8: like uh, you know, he had one of.

- 55:15Speaker 2: everything's cleaned out nice, So I've.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Gone back to eating how I was. Yeah, he's gonna
- 55:20Speaker 3: I don't understand that ship. Did the doctor say that's

- 55:29Speaker 2: fresh from what you and only the arteries that were
- 55:31Speaker 2: clogged are now clear, but the rest of your system's

- 55:45Speaker 10: make my life almost impossible.
- 55:47Speaker 3: I'll tell you.
- 55:47Speaker 6: I'll tell you what I mean.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Like, listen, just watch me die, bro, just watch me
- 55:52Speaker 3: fucking die.
- 55:53Speaker 6: I'm having a great time.
- 55:54Speaker 3: He's enjoying a titty in my head. I got a
- 55:56Speaker 3: Scotch in my hand cigarette.
- 55:58Speaker 8: You know what, Carl, You sit at your house and
- 56:01Speaker 8: you worry and you fucking eat your grass or whatever.
- 56:04Speaker 6: I don't want to be like that.
- 56:05Speaker 3: I can't live like you know what, Carl, Yes, I
- 56:07Speaker 3: actually agree with you, Thank you very much, because at
- 56:10Speaker 3: the end of my dad's life. We were trying to
- 56:12Speaker 3: get him eat right, and he's like, he's lived his life.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Let him eat his fucking chicken wings and have his beers,
- 56:16Speaker 2: and he ate like shit and enjoyed. He enjoyed food
- 56:19Speaker 2: like I probably should, right, But I watched him go
- 56:22Speaker 2: through the horrendous heart disease, and I think that's part
- 56:24Speaker 2: of why.
- 56:25Speaker 3: Like I am so fucking paranoid. But this is my
- 56:28Speaker 3: dad's younger brother who's there's like a twenty year difference
- 56:31Speaker 3: between the two. My Dad's no longer with us.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Obviously, he's sixty four ish, so my dad would be
- 56:37Speaker 2: in his eighties if he was still alive whatever. But
- 56:39Speaker 2: I remember my uncle giving this speech to my dad,
- 56:42Speaker 2: so I felt like I had to give the same
- 56:44Speaker 2: speech to him, right, But I'm like, do you remember
- 56:47Speaker 2: telling my dad the same shit? Because he went back
- 56:49Speaker 2: to eating like crap and you were like begging him
- 56:51Speaker 2: and trying to get him to eat right, and he's like, ah,
- 56:54Speaker 2: I'm good because they cleaned everything on.
- 56:56Speaker 3: I'm good now. Oh so that was that uncle, Well,
- 57:00Speaker 3: my dad, my dad had his in ninety three. How
- 57:03Speaker 3: many years ago? Is that twenty four years ago? You know,
- 57:06Speaker 3: he was a young guy at the time.
- 57:08Speaker 2: My uncle was about six forty maybe forty ish at
- 57:11Speaker 2: the time, and worried for his older brother Slash, almost
- 57:15Speaker 2: like a father figure to him. I just, I just,
- 57:18Speaker 2: but I agree with you because my dad was in
- 57:22Speaker 2: his early seventies and everyone around him was.
- 57:25Speaker 3: Like, pleasey to salad, Please don't eat the chicken wing
- 57:27Speaker 3: car kill fo. Yeah. Yeah, he was on his last
- 57:30Speaker 3: leg though, but he still had that leg. But what
- 57:33Speaker 3: fucking car came around?
- 57:35Speaker 2: Me and my brothers really believe he wasn't gonna last
- 57:37Speaker 2: much longer. So it's weird that he died in a
- 57:39Speaker 2: car accident. Right, So he was in rough, rough shape.
- 57:43Speaker 2: So when you look back, he could hate what he wanted.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah that's what. Yeah, could I hate whatever?
- 57:48Speaker 5: What do you want to?
- 57:49Speaker 8: For example, this week, I'm sitting in Memphis, right, We're
- 57:51Speaker 8: all sitting there with I'm literally the skinny guy in
- 57:54Speaker 8: this share call talking.
- 57:56Speaker 6: And we're all talking, and so I goes, oh, you
- 57:58Speaker 6: know who didn't make it?
- 58:00Speaker 3: Didn't make it, Jimbo didn't make it. Go fuck the kid.
- 58:04Speaker 3: He was a good guy man, He did a good job.
- 58:06Speaker 3: He had a good time. That was it. It was over.
- 58:08Speaker 8: Good life sixty years old, Jimbo's heart exploded, a chicken
- 58:11Speaker 8: wing for him flying out.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Of his mouth. Wow, and he was done. Jimbo's done,
- 58:14Speaker 3: but he went out on top. But you don't join
- 58:16Speaker 3: the fuck out him.
- 58:17Speaker 6: So you got to see these guys out there.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Let me tell you something. Food. They're all fat.
- 58:22Speaker 6: They're all sitting in there eating.
- 58:23Speaker 3: You know, they're eating with their twelve year old kid.
- 58:25Speaker 6: They're teaching them barbecue is a good life. And then
- 58:28Speaker 6: I come back to New York and I see these people.
- 58:30Speaker 1: There's sixty five and they look Christine, hear her sit
- 58:34Speaker 1: with them and have dinner with them.
- 58:35Speaker 3: It's miserable. Yeah.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's almost like they're fighting to stay alive. But
- 58:40Speaker 1: by doing that, they're not living living, They're not don't
- 58:43Speaker 1: drink that, Oh what is that?
- 58:45Speaker 3: Reading labels and shit? Like, what the fuck is wordy
- 58:47Speaker 3: a scientist? I probably surprised you, but I I kin'd
- 58:51Speaker 3: of agree with your car telling you to a point.
- 58:53Speaker 8: My father just my father health nut. You know, he
- 58:56Speaker 8: was a professional cyclist, right fucking sally with lemon juice.
- 59:01Speaker 8: I mean he trade treated his body like his Maga machine.
- 59:04Speaker 8: Its fucking his body betrayed him. You know, he was
- 59:08Speaker 8: so healthy that that's the only.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Reason he's still alive. Like the doctors are like, he's
- 59:14Speaker 3: in perfect shape.
- 59:15Speaker 6: We can put you in the bed call you probably
- 59:16Speaker 6: die before him, You know what I mean?
- 59:18Speaker 3: When did he start losing his mind? What age? Uh?
- 59:22Speaker 3: Sixty four? Wow? Yeah, too young for that ship, sixty
- 59:26Speaker 3: four two.
- 59:28Speaker 8: And then you know, now he's seventy seventy sixties had it.
- 59:33Speaker 8: He's been bedridden for four fucking years. Jesus, why didn't
- 59:37Speaker 8: you take that all back to a fucking donut? Yeah,
- 59:39Speaker 8: fucking break.
- 59:40Speaker 3: Fuck.
- 59:41Speaker 6: People tell me all day every day on fucking.
- 59:43Speaker 8: Instagram, just look at the fucking food picture enough, Oh

- 59:49Speaker 3: And then I go all their Instagram.
- 59:50Speaker 8: Their wife looks like she fucking escaped sea world.
- 59:54Speaker 3: Take the fucking monster.
- 59:57Speaker 6: I wake up every day.
