- 1:33Speaker 1: you live or more happily fulfilled life. P and C
- 1:36Speaker 1: Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly Boring since
- 1:41Speaker 1: eighteen sixty five is a service mark of the PNC
- 1:44Speaker 1: Financial Service Group, Inc. P and C Bank National Association
- 1:48Speaker 1: Member FDIC.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Going back to this market thing before we go to
- 1:53Speaker 2: the next topic, is one of these things that I
- 1:56Speaker 2: didn't think that Trump was going to be the best
- 1:58Speaker 2: person for the economy, and I said that the day
- 2:01Speaker 2: before the election and pretty much got crucified. It's not
- 2:05Speaker 2: I have no allegiance to a political party, but it's
- 2:08Speaker 2: one thing that kind of made me leary about Trump
- 2:11Speaker 2: is that he's uncertain. So is the reason why most
- 2:15Speaker 2: most before that you wouldn't know that. Now, well, most
- 2:17Speaker 2: of the Fortune five hundred companies and hedge funds and
- 2:19Speaker 2: all that they really wanted to come out of the win.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Once they saw that she had no chance of winning,
- 2:23Speaker 2: then they then they switched pivot. But the reason why
- 2:26Speaker 2: is that these guys like to know what's going on.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And when we was in San Francisco, I met a
- 2:35Speaker 2: top executive at one of the Fortune five hundred companies
- 2:37Speaker 2: and he told me that, you know, life has been
- 2:38Speaker 2: difficult for him because uncertainty. He's like, he's never seen
- 2:42Speaker 2: so much uncertainty as far as like one day there's
- 2:44Speaker 2: terror US, one day there's not terror US, one day
- 2:46Speaker 2: there's regulation. And he was like, you know, if you
- 2:49Speaker 2: know the rules of the game, you can play it.
- 2:51Speaker 2: But if the rules of the game changes every single day,
- 2:53Speaker 2: why that that becomes difficult. Markets don't like radical behavior,
- 3:00Speaker 2: They like they like the regular standard vanilla. We know
- 3:05Speaker 2: we're gonna get we know what your foreign policy is,
- 3:09Speaker 2: we know that you're gonna be hard on this industry.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Be okay, cool, We could we could navigate that. Trump
- 3:14Speaker 2: is the exact opposite of that. You don't know what,
- 3:16Speaker 2: you don't know what he's gonna do. He's extremely unpredictable
- 3:20Speaker 2: and often he changes course a lot. So yeah, I
- 3:26Speaker 2: mean over the long haul of market will be fine,
- 3:29Speaker 2: but we do have to have some level of honest
- 3:31Speaker 2: conversation that he is a catalyst for some of this
- 3:33Speaker 2: because his behavior is extremely erradic and that's causing certain
- 3:41Speaker 2: uncertainty and global markets, American markets, companies, governments, and that's choppy,
- 3:50Speaker 2: it's choppy waters.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, like I said, like one day, it's
- 3:55Speaker 1: a tackle in this country, and then I'm gonna give
- 3:57Speaker 1: you thirty days to figure that out. But these things
- 3:59Speaker 1: are effect multiple places, right, So if you're if you're
- 4:03Speaker 1: talking about China having tax on top, well they're going
- 4:05Speaker 1: to retaliate. If enough country start retaliating, that's that affects
- 4:08Speaker 1: business everywhere, and that's I'm glad you brought that conversation up.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Is like when I don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow,
- 4:15Speaker 1: it's tough to prepare for it, and so you try
- 4:17Speaker 1: to prepare for it and then it changes, right like
- 4:20Speaker 1: one day is like, hey, if you don't show me
- 4:21Speaker 1: your work by the end of the week, don't come
- 4:23Speaker 1: to work on Monday, huh Like with then you get
- 4:27Speaker 1: as right, like right restive of a cut.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yes, I get it, And look at the COVID them
- 4:35Speaker 2: cutting certain departments led to the mismanagement of the COVID virus.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah, some may say the same thing about the FAA,
- 4:46Speaker 1: for sure.
- 4:47Speaker 3: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 4:51Speaker 3: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from l Salvador
- 4:55Speaker 3: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 4:59Speaker 3: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 5:03Speaker 3: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 5:07Speaker 3: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 5:11Speaker 3: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 5:15Speaker 3: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 5:19Speaker 3: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 5:22Speaker 3: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 5:26Speaker 3: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 5:30Speaker 3: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 5:34Speaker 3: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Do what's right, leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 5:43Speaker 3: border and families will be protected. Sponsored by the United
- 5:46Speaker 3: States Department of Homeland Security,
