- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you. That's why it is a founding member
- 0:02Speaker 1: of the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:45Speaker 2: What what what? Oh? Sorry sorry sorry it's it's panthers,
- 0:49Speaker 2: Aaron hype b A y t W. What's happening?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Uh oh sorry, coming to you die from Aaron's bedroom.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Ship Oh ship time.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Yes, okay, maybe you should get dressed before you start.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I mean in front there, but I'm.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Just gonna start.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Helicopter in Okay, stop it, stop it, stop.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It all right.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I didn't sleep through this one. We're in
- 1:22Speaker 2: the we're in the studio.
- 1:23Speaker 3: You know he's actually here this time.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I'm actually didn't get abducted. I made it. I didn't.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I didn't take an edible and then sleep ten hours.
- 1:31Speaker 3: You know. I feel that because that's I've had that
- 1:33Speaker 3: happen to me back on the b I Show, where
- 1:37Speaker 3: oh my god, we'll hit just too hard, and I
- 1:39Speaker 3: slept through the whole thing.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I could not believe it, Like I when I woke up,
- 1:44Speaker 2: looked at the clock and it said three o'clock, I went,
- 1:46Speaker 2: oh my god, I just freaked out, like, holy ship.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I hope he's okay.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I was not answering anything.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Like I'm dead, like holy ship.
- 1:59Speaker 1: We're we were gonna come by after the show and
- 2:02Speaker 1: like much at the dry wards and just fucking bang
- 2:03Speaker 1: on his doory.
- 2:05Speaker 2: We wouldn't have.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Been sitting here going where the fuck is he? But
- 2:07Speaker 3: the whole tower. We're like, man, I hope he's okay.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Like what happened?
- 2:11Speaker 2: It turned out fucking stupid. My mistake was taking the
- 2:18Speaker 2: edible like right before bed, at like eleven o'clock.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's still in our system.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That was the mistake.
- 2:24Speaker 1: So so like.
- 2:26Speaker 2: The following week, like I had wised up and I
- 2:28Speaker 2: took it at like six, like like just after dinner,
- 2:32Speaker 2: nice like you know, so so that by the time
- 2:34Speaker 2: I was getting in bed, I was still feeling it,
- 2:36Speaker 2: but it wasn't gonna keep me until in the morning, sorry,
- 2:40Speaker 2: three in the afternoon. So yeah. So yeah, so this week,
- 2:44Speaker 2: like I had the same choice, like I was. I
- 2:46Speaker 2: was planning on having an edible, and then I lost
- 2:49Speaker 2: track of time and I'm like, it's ten o'clock. I'm
- 2:51Speaker 2: not gonna risk it. I'll just go without. Uh So,
- 2:54Speaker 2: no edible for me, just just fucking h Yeah. Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 2: that's what I completely raw dogged sleep went in bear
- 3:08Speaker 2: you know, without without protection. Yeah, God was anti weed.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Welcome to b F y t W. It doesn't sound
- 3:23Speaker 2: like it, but this is very much, very much a
- 3:26Speaker 2: normal episode. We're gonna play some games and have some fun.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I've got three games here in whichever one of these
- 3:31Speaker 2: two idiots can do the best of these games will
- 3:34Speaker 2: win and earn themselves a sense of superiority that they
- 3:39Speaker 2: genuinely should that we need genuinely should not. So yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 2: let's get to the introductions. He's a gamer and a storyteller,
- 3:49Speaker 2: and he used to be my youngest friend. Now he's
- 3:51Speaker 2: just Aggie Ago. How does it feel to be the
- 4:12Speaker 2: best after seven other failures? After seven?
- 4:16Speaker 3: You know, it feels like first, but really it's eight THEE.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Mark eight yep. So uh, I have a question.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I guess it's always.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Related to something I'm doing. So, uh, what is the
- 4:34Speaker 2: most joy you've squeezed out of something so small?
- 4:40Speaker 3: I mean? Would what a video game be considered small?
- 4:44Speaker 2: It depends on how small it is.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Like I mean certain games like, uh, let's build a zoo,
- 4:51Speaker 3: which is like this eight bit like building a zoo
- 4:55Speaker 3: tycoon thing, and you know, literally it it's pretty simple.
- 5:00Speaker 3: You just build a zoo you can't possibly I mean,
- 5:02Speaker 3: you can fail, but there's like so many safety that
- 5:05Speaker 3: so you can't possibly fail. But it's just I remember
- 5:07Speaker 3: getting just hours of enjoyment out of it, just silly game.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Like you actually probably remember watching me play it likes
- 5:14Speaker 3: every night, and it was just cool doing fun stuff
- 5:18Speaker 3: like that. So like small, small indie games, the only
- 5:22Speaker 3: things that only last year, like a couple hours really
- 5:25Speaker 3: and you can like beat it in an afternoon, like
- 5:27Speaker 3: get a lot of enjoyment out of those, Like you
- 5:29Speaker 3: feel like you get your money's worth and you feel
- 5:32Speaker 3: better coming off of it, where like some of the longer,
- 5:35Speaker 3: more expensive games I I was you like seventy bucks nowadays, uh,
- 5:39Speaker 3: and you'd get no enjoyment out of it, or you
- 5:41Speaker 3: have to keep playing for hours and hours hours until
- 5:44Speaker 3: you feel like you got your money's worth out.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Of it, right right? That's fair, man, Like that.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Is fair. I do appreciate that there's some smaller games
- 5:55Speaker 2: that have kept me in transfer way longer than honestly
- 5:59Speaker 2: I expected. A good one is I think the Guardian
- 6:02Speaker 2: Legend for ne E S. Yeah, that's a that's a
- 6:05Speaker 2: Nintendo ass game that I can literally put ten hours in, uh,
- 6:10Speaker 2: and literally enjoy the ship out of and like you know,
- 6:13Speaker 2: fruit and the actual file size is tiny compared to
- 6:17Speaker 2: something that you download nowadays pretty much every game is
- 6:20Speaker 2: just massive insane. But anyway, his opponent is a veteran
- 6:26Speaker 2: and a podcaster, and by intergalactic law, that makes him
- 6:30Speaker 2: a veteran podcaster. It's Stevie. It's it's.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, huh.
- 6:39Speaker 2: They don't get weirder.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 6:46Speaker 3: The crowd's gotta work on that faded.
- 6:48Speaker 2: His chocolate starfish is more like a piranha.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's more like hot fudge.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Now, oh it's melted.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Gotta miss you.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Does so with our friction.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Not wrong, He's not wrong.
- 7:12Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I'm not wrong.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Not Stevie. What is the most joy that you've squeezed
- 7:18Speaker 2: out of something small?
- 7:22Speaker 1: This is crazy because I actually mentioned it in the
- 7:24Speaker 1: moment of it happening on Halloween night, Uh, Aggie. Now
- 7:28Speaker 1: we're sitting outside for the Trigger treaters and we just
- 7:31Speaker 1: had two chairs set up in the driveway listening to
- 7:34Speaker 1: a podcast and we just like bs and just hung
- 7:37Speaker 1: up for like three and a half hours, nothing like
- 7:39Speaker 1: just that's.
- 7:40Speaker 2: A long as shill.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Like we listened. It was the gate Leapers Marijuana episode that.
- 7:49Speaker 2: We were actually.
- 7:53Speaker 1: We were luckily enough on it, which was so much fun.
- 7:56Speaker 1: But yeah, go check it out. It was great. So
- 7:57Speaker 1: we gotta sit outside and do that and just chill
- 8:01Speaker 1: for like I said, hours and just best. It was
- 8:03Speaker 1: kind of cool man like the good old days. And
- 8:06Speaker 1: since I did just mention that we were on the
- 8:08Speaker 1: gate Leapers, I do have to mention also that this
- 8:11Speaker 1: past week I recorded with Russ and Lauren for the
- 8:14Speaker 1: Beardale podcast. They are going through the UA or No
- 8:19Speaker 1: the There to Be Stupid I think right Now album
- 8:23Speaker 1: and they brought me on for Yoda. So it was fun.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It was It was a great time, So look out
- 8:29Speaker 1: for that. So check out the Beardale podcast and check
- 8:32Speaker 1: out the gate Leapers for more and more entertainment from
- 8:35Speaker 1: these weirdos.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Yeah, if you want more of us, that's the gate
- 8:38Speaker 2: Leapers and other odd pods. The best way to find us.
- 8:42Speaker 2: We'll be all over that ship like white on Rice,
- 8:45Speaker 2: Yeah on Stevie, Yeah, white ist Sevie. Don't get any whiter,
- 8:53Speaker 2: all right, So uh that hasn't been said. I'm your
- 8:56Speaker 2: host pants Saran hit it.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Check some stones for a laugh.
- 9:15Speaker 2: A man, what's happened. So I got my hands on
- 9:22Speaker 2: something a little fun.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Ucause, you know, I enjoy like mini PCs, and I
- 9:30Speaker 5: love like I love like trying to take like not
- 9:33Speaker 5: a lot of money and getting a ship ton gaming
- 9:35Speaker 5: out of it.
- 9:36Speaker 2: This past weekend I gave myself probably the biggest challenge
- 9:40Speaker 2: in that arena I think I've ever faced.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Really.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I bought an eighty dollars PC. That's express. Yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 2: it's a full ass PC.
- 9:54Speaker 3: It is a is a recycled.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Referving slash, you know, whatever reword you want to use.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It's it's a point of sale PC, a p O
- 10:06Speaker 2: s PC as we call them because the pieces of
- 10:08Speaker 2: ship but they're also point of sale PCs. This one was,
- 10:13Speaker 2: this one was in an industrial use of some kind.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Don't know where it came from, but somebody came up
- 10:18Speaker 2: with the bright idea, Hey, this small board is a
- 10:21Speaker 2: full PC on its own, and it's strong enough to
- 10:23Speaker 2: run a lot of retro games. Why don't we put
- 10:26Speaker 2: an acrylic put an acrylic case on it, and then
- 10:29Speaker 2: set it up as a retrogaming machine. So they're selling
- 10:31Speaker 2: these things with like too cheap as ship wireless controllers,
- 10:35Speaker 2: which I do not recommend you use the.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Controllers, and they.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Come with a five hundred gigabyte hard drive. Uh, and
- 10:44Speaker 2: it's just full of full of retro games and it
- 10:47Speaker 2: just it just runs. Now, it runs most games up
- 10:51Speaker 2: to PS two and GameCube, and it's not great, like
- 10:56Speaker 2: they don't run them very well. And it because it's
- 11:00Speaker 2: it's literally like a dual core celeron processor's one point
- 11:04Speaker 2: eight gigs. But I was like, I challenged myself, like
- 11:06Speaker 2: can I make this thing better? Can I make it
- 11:08Speaker 2: even stronger or capable of doing more? And the answer
- 11:12Speaker 2: is no. I was like you. I was like, I
- 11:19Speaker 2: could easily cheaply replace the CPU with something stronger for sure,
- 11:24Speaker 2: And no, it's soldered to the board. So I was like,
- 11:29Speaker 2: could I could I put a like a cheap ass
- 11:33Speaker 2: graphics card in it? No? Absolutely no PCI connectors. So
- 11:37Speaker 2: I'm like, what can I do? Like, the best that
- 11:40Speaker 2: I could do was like replace the mechanical hard drive
- 11:43Speaker 2: with an SSD. Okay, So I had a five hundred
- 11:47Speaker 2: gigbyte SSD on hand, So it does greatly speed up
- 11:50Speaker 2: booting up and loading them all the games and all
- 11:53Speaker 2: that stuff is much faster.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Cool.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I also upgraded the operating system because the one they
- 11:58Speaker 2: were using was an older version of Botto Sarah, which
- 12:01Speaker 2: is a retro game focused operating system. I used the
- 12:05Speaker 2: most recent one, and apparently along with that came the
- 12:09Speaker 2: most upgraded versions of the emulators. So a lot of
- 12:12Speaker 2: PS two games and GameCube games that I couldn't get
- 12:15Speaker 2: to run on the old machine now run fine, nic
- 12:19Speaker 2: It's still not perfect. There are some PS two games
- 12:21Speaker 2: I could not get to run full speed, just just
- 12:24Speaker 2: absolutely not not happening. The tech games are like, no,
- 12:28Speaker 2: absolutely no, absolutely not. That's fair though, But I mean
- 12:32Speaker 2: I played what was it like Jeopardy and We'll Fortune,
- 12:35Speaker 2: even though those have three D elements, You know, that
- 12:37Speaker 2: was fine. I played. I played surprisingly Final Fantasy ten
- 12:42Speaker 2: had only a few slowdowns, and I have to assume
- 12:45Speaker 2: that's because the emulator is really really hardwired to get
- 12:49Speaker 2: that game running, because that's that's a top on many
- 12:52Speaker 2: people video. I didn't get to that. I refused. I
- 12:57Speaker 2: just just played, like skip over, I just played.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I played the opening bit that I installed an emulator
- 13:03Speaker 3: so I could fast forward to that bit.
- 13:05Speaker 2: But I even went to the extreme of like putting
- 13:08Speaker 2: Wei games on there because it uses the same emulator
- 13:11Speaker 2: as GameCube, and even fewer of those worked, but but
- 13:15Speaker 2: I did get a few running, especially ones that I
- 13:18Speaker 2: really wanted to play, like Super Mario Super Paper Mario.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah on the Wii. I love that game. That it's fantastic.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Super Paper Mario is basically the spiritual successor to their
- 13:29Speaker 3: Nintendo Super Mario Star Sword thing it was. I was
- 13:37Speaker 3: on the Super Nintendo and it was an RPG, a
- 13:39Speaker 3: Mario RPG. It introduced, uh, like two other characters.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I say this is its own thing, like it uses
- 13:47Speaker 2: the two D characters. But the reason it's super is
- 13:50Speaker 2: because you can press a button and switch into three D,
- 13:53Speaker 2: like the view will actually change. Oh cool, and you
- 13:56Speaker 2: can actually see in three D and there are things
- 13:58Speaker 2: you can't see in two D that you can only
- 14:00Speaker 2: seeing three D, like pathways, hidden blocks, hidden pipes, things
- 14:04Speaker 2: like that. Yeah, it's it's really cool. I like the
- 14:07Speaker 2: way it messes with perspective and like they hid so
- 14:10Speaker 2: much ship in there. So it is a lot of fun,
- 14:14Speaker 2: but it's not. It is an RPG, and that you
- 14:17Speaker 2: can level up and gain more hit points and more
- 14:19Speaker 2: you know, strength and all that stuff, but it really
- 14:24Speaker 2: is a two D platformer at heart, like you're literally starting,
- 14:28Speaker 2: You're you're jumping and stomping on things. It's it's a
- 14:31Speaker 2: side scroller, it's not. Yeah, there's no turn based ship
- 14:35Speaker 2: in it, you know. But anyway, and the final thing
- 14:37Speaker 2: that I squeezed out of it, I installed Steam on
- 14:40Speaker 2: the motherfucker and I spent most of yesterday and today
- 14:43Speaker 2: testing PC games on this fucking thing, cards tool or
- 14:51Speaker 2: fucking process or let me tell you how much that
- 14:54Speaker 2: limits the Yeah, probably could, but I mean I was
- 15:01Speaker 2: playing things like Star Wars Nights, The Old Republic works great.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I was playing Max Pain earlier. Yeah, you know, so
- 15:09Speaker 2: there's a lot of games, a lot. There's a lot
- 15:12Speaker 2: of games that will run on this thing despite only
- 15:14Speaker 2: being eighty bucks. So in the end, you know, i'd say, yeah,
- 15:18Speaker 2: thumbs up. I enjoyed it, and I'm still getting a
- 15:20Speaker 2: lot of kicks out of it. But I'm gonna see
- 15:22Speaker 2: if I can do even better next time. But we'll
- 15:24Speaker 2: get to that for right now, it's time for Game one.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I've been talking a lot. Game one is going to
- 15:30Speaker 2: be have. I got good news for you. I've got
- 15:31Speaker 2: three news stories here, and all our players have to
- 15:33Speaker 2: do is tell me which one of the three I
- 15:35Speaker 2: picked as my favorite news of the week. But that's
- 15:38Speaker 2: the best news story of the week, as it were,
- 15:42Speaker 2: and whichever player gets it, or if neither gets it,
- 15:45Speaker 2: my second favorite story of the week, will win the
- 15:48Speaker 2: game and earn one episode point. We're gonna go through
- 15:51Speaker 2: all three stories as we usually do and talk about them,
- 15:53Speaker 2: and then we'll discuss and I'll have the players pick
- 15:55Speaker 2: which one they think is the best. And let's start
- 15:58Speaker 2: off with our first news story. Wooly mammoths extinction mystery
- 16:02Speaker 2: may be solved. It was fucking allergies.
- 16:07Speaker 3: What that makes sense because there were some people that
- 16:10Speaker 3: said it might have been over hunting from early human.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Wait a minute, was it their allergy or was it
- 16:16Speaker 1: the allergy of something else? And it is like, we
- 16:18Speaker 1: got to kill these woly mammoth because we're so allergic
- 16:20Speaker 1: to them, hunt them all.
- 16:24Speaker 2: So there a lot of theories as to what caused
- 16:27Speaker 2: the extinction of the woly mammoths. No one really knows,
- 16:29Speaker 2: as August stated, but a recent study has proposed a
- 16:33Speaker 2: new theory and it's decidedly less dramatic. Uh, mammoths died
- 16:38Speaker 2: out because of pollen allergies. So mammoths all over the
- 16:43Speaker 2: world just sneezed themselves to death. Aw not exactly obviously
- 16:49Speaker 2: that that didn't happen.
- 16:50Speaker 1: What a way to go. But trust just explodes their plan.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Life was exploding everywhere, and they reproduced through pollen and
- 16:59Speaker 2: that causes more pollen to be wafting continuously through the air.
- 17:03Speaker 2: And the new study says that mammos just couldn't deal
- 17:06Speaker 2: with that. Like they they literally couldn't breathe.
- 17:10Speaker 6: They attack their respiratory system, and they also couldn't They
- 17:13Speaker 6: also couldn't smell things, and they wouldn't be able to
- 17:17Speaker 6: tell when their potential mates were in the mood that.
- 17:22Speaker 2: They had difficulty finding food.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And they wouldn't be able to detect predators, so they
- 17:33Speaker 2: wouldn't even realize that they were in danger until the
- 17:36Speaker 2: band of screaming apes was poking them to death with sticks.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Ye. Now imagine that now they're having respiratory issues, they're
- 17:45Speaker 3: already being outpaced by like the best predator with the
- 17:48Speaker 3: best stamina out there, early human. Now they have no
- 17:51Speaker 3: stamina at all because they can barely breathe.
- 17:54Speaker 1: As messed up. Wait a minute, are the monkeys with
- 17:56Speaker 1: sticks extinct or we fucked.
- 17:58Speaker 3: They were us the monkeys with the sticks.
- 18:00Speaker 2: We were the monkeys with sticks.
- 18:02Speaker 3: By the way, I don't know I've already won.
- 18:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Yes, we wi just don't tell them about the new
- 18:08Speaker 3: videos coming out about all their monkeys with sticks.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Nowadays, we got more joining us. Sweet, our armies have grown.
- 18:16Speaker 3: The orangutang might be the next in line.
- 18:19Speaker 2: And to cement our victory, we invented Clareton. So you know,
- 18:26Speaker 2: the wooly mammoths. The wooly mammoths could have had and
- 18:29Speaker 2: they would have survived if Clareton had been around. But
- 18:32Speaker 2: oh well, that's how much Dick's humanity is. They're like,
- 18:38Speaker 2: we'll kill you and then fixed the thing that killed you.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Hey, Clareton, we got your next commercial.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Would have saved the wooly mammoths, but we didn't because
- 18:50Speaker 2: we're dicks.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Uh.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Sarah mclachlin's in the background, singing and ship.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Oh man, let's move on to story number two. Oh boy,
- 19:09Speaker 2: Washington woman calls nine one one when her home is
- 19:11Speaker 2: besieged by over all hundred raccoons.
- 19:15Speaker 3: What yeah, that sounds about right a Washington woman. So
- 19:19Speaker 3: this happened in Washington, Yes, West coast right.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Washington, Washington. Okay, their Washington, Washington, Washington, not not the DC,
- 19:29Speaker 1: the state.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Witch Washington, which Washington state, raccoons here the district.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So wait a minute.
- 19:41Speaker 2: So anyway, listen, this this isn't entirely without fault, so
- 19:46Speaker 2: it's her fault. So this woman, this woman had occasionally
- 19:50Speaker 2: fed the raccoons in her backyard. Okay, yeah, and and
- 19:55Speaker 2: she had done so for years. It was literally, it
- 19:58Speaker 2: was literally just a thing that she did for years.
- 20:02Speaker 2: And he's not entirely accurate. I have to point out
- 20:06Speaker 2: he's doing something that is not easily transmissible on a pod. No,
- 20:09Speaker 2: it's not ites bar for Steve and waving his hands
- 20:15Speaker 2: in such a way to imply that it's snowballed. This
- 20:17Speaker 2: did not happen. She regularly saw the same raccoons on
- 20:21Speaker 2: her property again and again and again over the years,
- 20:23Speaker 2: and that's again a reason why she fed them. However,
- 20:27Speaker 2: apparently raccoons have some sort of internet, They have some
- 20:32Speaker 2: sort of communication.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Underground networks, some sort of network.
- 20:36Speaker 3: So this is actually a callback to I think one
- 20:38Speaker 3: of our previous episodes where we had something similar to
- 20:41Speaker 3: raccoons their feces. They have latrines.
- 20:46Speaker 2: They do share bathrooms and you have to torch them with flamethrowers.
- 20:51Speaker 3: To avoid Yeah, they not only ship together, they also
- 20:54Speaker 3: spread information together, including in their feces where they can
- 20:56Speaker 3: smell food and the other raccoons. She sees me, like, hey,
- 21:01Speaker 3: they're finding stuff there.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, that may have been what happened. All
- 21:05Speaker 2: I know is all I know is some kind of
- 21:07Speaker 2: trash pandam memo was confer was going around because on
- 21:16Speaker 2: one fatful day, she walked outside to see over a
- 21:20Speaker 2: hundred raccoons besieging her home, begging for scraps.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Freaking I get my giant raccoon costume on and go
- 21:29Speaker 1: out there and join it.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Ever needed an excuse to not feed the animals around
- 21:38Speaker 2: your home, this is it. This is it. It does
- 21:44Speaker 2: not get any.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Better unless you want a raccoon army.
- 21:48Speaker 2: She called to the police. She called animal control, and
- 21:53Speaker 2: I don't know what they did.
- 21:57Speaker 3: She's like, there's an ar of what.
- 22:02Speaker 2: All the same, nobody had seen that many raccoons in
- 22:04Speaker 2: one place. Nobody ever remembers being surrounded by a swarm raccoons.
- 22:10Speaker 2: This was a first, said a spokesperson for the police.
- 22:15Speaker 2: But the cops helped clear the way for the woman
- 22:17Speaker 2: to get to her car, but that marked the end
- 22:20Speaker 2: of their authority because the police said the raccoons hadn't
- 22:25Speaker 2: committed any crimes committed.
- 22:32Speaker 1: We're not dealing with this. They did nothing illegal. Goodbye,
- 22:36Speaker 1: was nobody else's.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Problem, declared sovereignty. We can't do anything.
- 22:41Speaker 2: She contacted a trapping company about removing the raccoons, but
- 22:45Speaker 2: she can't afford their services because they would have charged
- 22:48Speaker 2: her five hundred dollars per reccoon. Yeah, five hundred per raccoon.
- 22:55Speaker 3: One hundred raccoons. No quick math is hard.
- 23:02Speaker 2: The case has been handed to the Washington Department of
- 23:05Speaker 2: Fishing Wildlife. However, as of the time of this article,
- 23:09Speaker 2: the siege remains in place.
- 23:11Speaker 1: The siege remains, and raccoon're so cute, I'll just throw
- 23:17Speaker 1: them a few things.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I think so like people are surprised to see these
- 23:23Speaker 3: many raccoons in one area. And again you you one, uh,
- 23:27Speaker 3: don't understand how far raccoons can travel. And two there
- 23:30Speaker 3: was that you know, one hundred years ago where the
- 23:33Speaker 3: stints of COVID Remember that when nobody was doing shit. Yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 3: nature came back and repopulated so you know, it's not
- 23:42Speaker 3: surprising to see that many raccoons and ice in a
- 23:45Speaker 3: concentrated area just because in little communities. Yeah, like, you
- 23:50Speaker 3: can only imagine how many raccoons we have just in
- 23:52Speaker 3: our Oh joshya, we see literally one hundred week. We
- 23:55Speaker 3: see hundreds of deer every year. We just think it's
- 23:58Speaker 3: the same dozen deer. No, it's literally a hundred of
- 24:00Speaker 3: deer migrating through every year.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's story number two. Let's move on to
- 24:09Speaker 2: story number three. Study reveals that when building space housing,
- 24:13Speaker 2: potato starch makes a stronger brick than human blood. What what?
- 24:21Speaker 1: Who's who's volunteering for this test? Like, yeah, hey guys,
- 24:27Speaker 1: fifty bucks you can go do the science test that
- 24:30Speaker 1: NaSTA is that saying? Or are you in the potato
- 24:33Speaker 1: group or you in the blood group? Apparently I'm in
- 24:35Speaker 1: the blood group. Does that mean?
- 24:37Speaker 2: Listen?
- 24:37Speaker 5: Uh?
- 24:38Speaker 2: Space is apparently the place to be. I mean we're
- 24:40Speaker 2: looking we're looking at.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Blood is thicker than water. Potato, such, the potatoes starch
- 24:45Speaker 3: is thicker than blood.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Listen, We're looking at ways to colonize the moon, and
- 24:50Speaker 2: we need space housing, all right, So the concrete materials
- 24:55Speaker 2: we have on Earth, way too much for transportation. Yeah,
- 24:58Speaker 2: Like we'd be able to buil like a wall and
- 25:01Speaker 2: that's it, and then we'd have to travel back and
- 25:04Speaker 2: do it again.
- 25:05Speaker 3: See if we just the thing is, we have to
- 25:07Speaker 3: set up a logistical system to get everything up there first,
- 25:10Speaker 3: and then we'll be fine it just fitting materials up there.
- 25:14Speaker 2: So they're looking for a way to bring a light
- 25:17Speaker 2: material that can be turned into strong bricks once they arrive.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So they had two options, potatoes starch and human blood.
- 25:28Speaker 3: We're bringing humans anyway.
- 25:32Speaker 1: We got the blood.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Potato starch doesn't weigh a lot, and it produces a
- 25:36Speaker 2: fair bit of what they are calling star crete, which
- 25:40Speaker 2: is concrete in the star Yeah, five fifty five pounds
- 25:45Speaker 2: of dehydrated potatoes, essentially potato chips could produce two hundred
- 25:50Speaker 2: star crete bricks. Wow. Okay, to put that into perspective,
- 25:55Speaker 2: though a three bedroom house requires roughly seven five hundred bricks. Okay.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Still still like potatoes are easy because talking potato makes
- 26:06Speaker 1: potato mental math.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Here we're talking thirty eight times fifty five, roughly fifteen
- 26:15Speaker 2: one hundred pounds and then some of dehydrated potatoes.
- 26:20Speaker 1: But when you think about it, like, once you get
- 26:22Speaker 1: established up there and you can produce potatoes, potatoes make
- 26:25Speaker 1: more potatoes. So it's stupid easy once you get going, I.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Say, well, and here's the thing like it. Aside from
- 26:32Speaker 2: being very light, it makes a very good brick. The
- 26:34Speaker 2: star creete is very strong. Regular concrete can withstand thirty
- 26:39Speaker 2: two megapascals of pressure before it cracks. Star crete that
- 26:44Speaker 2: is manufactured with Martian soil can create can take seventy
- 26:50Speaker 2: two megapascals, over twice as much pressure before it.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Starts Martian soil. Yeah, and while while interesting.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Soil, lunar star crete won't break until it comes under
- 27:04Speaker 2: ninety one megapascals of pressure, so it's even stronger. On
- 27:08Speaker 2: the moon.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Well, well you know where our next resources are.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You get from the moon.
- 27:12Speaker 2: However, the researchers have suggested other proposals, some more reasonable
- 27:17Speaker 2: than others, and one is weird, gross and disturbing, an
- 27:21Speaker 2: evil measure because it's based on human blood, well not
- 27:24Speaker 2: necessarily just blood. You could also make the concrete with urine,
- 27:28Speaker 2: but in the process either blood or pea would be
- 27:31Speaker 2: mixed into the concrete to act as a binder. Like
- 27:33Speaker 2: the potato starch and to be fair, the resulting concrete
- 27:36Speaker 2: is admittedly strong. The logic behind this is that there
- 27:40Speaker 2: is theoretically an infinite supply. As long as the astronauts don't,
- 27:44Speaker 2: you know, die, they can just keep feeding their red
- 27:48Speaker 2: or yellow fluids into the concrete mill. But it's it's
- 27:53Speaker 2: been a hard cell. I can't imagine why.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm surrounded by human piss or I'm not.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Only is the idea my blood is.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Literally building the bricks around us, but it.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Has some serious downsides, like the fact that restaurants need
- 28:09Speaker 2: their blood to well live. Yeah, I was gonna say.
- 28:13Speaker 3: The thing is, you're taking blood, which means they're gonna
- 28:15Speaker 3: be a knemic as fuck. You're gonna need food like
- 28:18Speaker 3: sugar foods.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And also the thought of living in a blood or
- 28:21Speaker 2: a piss house is not that engaging to me.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I mean, you'll forget about it after a while.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I mean, as long as it doesn't smell it or
- 28:28Speaker 2: look like this, you know, just don't paint the walls yellow.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Brown room, please, Yeah, you know they're taking pooh.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I was gonna say, I thought I was figured it
- 28:40Speaker 3: would be feces. It's going be a lot of in there,
- 28:44Speaker 3: all the microplastics in there, definitely binding together.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I can't find the stats, but I think they're also
- 28:51Speaker 2: The blood bricks are also weaker than the potato starch ones,
- 28:55Speaker 2: so that's another reason why they'd rather go with that.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I mean, I already have as much reason as I
- 28:59Speaker 2: need to go with potato starch over personally.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Which planet do you think is going to become the
- 29:05Speaker 3: potato planet?
- 29:06Speaker 1: Mars the potato planet.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Which one will be the pissed potato planets?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Which one's gonna be the piss planet? Which is gonna
- 29:13Speaker 3: be the potato planet, what's gonna be the planet made
- 29:15Speaker 3: of blood? And no, you can't say Earth of the
- 29:18Speaker 3: last one.
- 29:23Speaker 2: All right, gentlemen, that's our three news stories, and all
- 29:25Speaker 2: you have to do is tell me which one I
- 29:26Speaker 2: picked before the show as being the best story of
- 29:29Speaker 2: the three. I don't remember which one of you lost
- 29:32Speaker 2: last game, and I couldn't couldn't be bothered.
- 29:34Speaker 3: To carry, couldn't care good enough.
- 29:37Speaker 2: That's fair. I'm gonna flip a candy bar. It makes
- 29:39Speaker 2: as much sense as you think.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I like it.
- 29:41Speaker 2: It's pointing closer to Stevie. So Stevie, you're gonna go first.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I just get to choose one of these, right, Yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 1: you just choose one.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Which one do you think is the best news story
- 29:50Speaker 2: of the week?
- 29:51Speaker 1: Uh, the one that I personally choose, and I'm hoping
- 29:54Speaker 1: the same one you because it is kind of a
- 29:55Speaker 1: torrible and funny because what the cops said, the hundreds
- 29:58Speaker 1: of raccoons. I am down, Like if I saw that
- 30:01Speaker 1: shit happen here, I would, no joke, rupstairs, get my
- 30:03Speaker 1: raccoon costume, get a basket full of food and come
- 30:06Speaker 1: out and hang okay, become their leader.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Become their leader raccoon.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Fuck yeah. Could you imagine I walked down the street
- 30:15Speaker 1: and there's like a hundred raccoons following behind me, Like,
- 30:18Speaker 1: what no one's gonna do? Ship.
- 30:20Speaker 2: It's fair, that's fair. Reckon. You may pick one and
- 30:25Speaker 2: the other two.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Damn you took mine?
- 30:28Speaker 2: All right?
- 30:29Speaker 3: Well you know what, no, I think. I think your
- 30:32Speaker 3: favorite has gotta be the potato starch uh making the
- 30:35Speaker 3: stronger bricks. Mostly because half the story is really interesting
- 30:39Speaker 3: that we're using potatoes to build possibly build structures on
- 30:45Speaker 3: other planets, which is really fucking cool, but the fact
- 30:48Speaker 3: that it's funny to think that we also could possibly
- 30:51Speaker 3: have piss bricks being built on other planets, and can
- 30:55Speaker 3: you imagine that alien interaction when they're like, oh man,
- 30:59Speaker 3: your architecture's interesting. What do you make it out of?
- 31:03Speaker 3: What's really and explaining that to them.
- 31:05Speaker 2: What's really funny to me is that these these are
- 31:08Speaker 2: being chosen because they bind the materials together. Sticky, the
- 31:12Speaker 2: stickies agent, the stickiest human liquid that I can think
- 31:18Speaker 2: is neither of those. Why have we not tried just bricks?
- 31:22Speaker 2: You know?
- 31:23Speaker 1: Somebody has all the fluids, guess.
- 31:33Speaker 2: So this may come as a surprise, but it turns
- 31:38Speaker 2: out neither of you favorites. My favorite story is the
- 31:42Speaker 2: only mammoths due.
- 31:46Speaker 3: To allergies like that, because he pointed to that and goes,
- 31:50Speaker 3: I'm better than a woly mammoth.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I have nasty, I'm strong. You can you You can
- 31:57Speaker 2: probably hear it in my nose right now. I'm stuffed up.
- 32:00Speaker 3: We've got allergies, but I'm still pandemics still happening.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I outlived the man. That's Fuck them. Those hairy bitches,
- 32:07Speaker 2: stupid elephants. Stupid hairy elephants.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Get a haircut, hybie, beautiful.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Breathe better.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you might be able to breathe.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Yeah, hair away from your nose or trunk as it were.
- 32:28Speaker 3: No, it's something, okay, they're not around to defend themselves.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Yeah, they can't be offended.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Fun off you know, there's some William Mammon's somewhere in
- 32:37Speaker 1: the cave listening to our shower.
- 32:42Speaker 2: The piss bricks and the blood bricks just kind of
- 32:44Speaker 2: made me sick. And I mean the second story, it
- 32:46Speaker 2: is kind of funny, but it's funny. The woman has
- 32:48Speaker 2: basically lost her home, So I don't feel great about that.
- 32:51Speaker 3: No, she didn't lose it. It's still being sieged. She
- 32:53Speaker 3: could defend it. Just got a rally.
- 32:57Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 32:57Speaker 2: They're just eating all the ship and tearing everything shreds
- 33:00Speaker 2: in her house.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Look, as long as she can still somehow get supplies
- 33:03Speaker 3: in there, she could hold out for years still.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Okay, man, Yeah, No, I just didn't feel great about
- 33:09Speaker 2: picking either one of those, So so I went to
- 33:11Speaker 2: Wooly Mammos just because it tickled me. Something so simple
- 33:15Speaker 2: fair could bring down an entire species. But it's true,
- 33:18Speaker 2: it's true. I really can't. So that means we have
- 33:22Speaker 2: to go with my second favorite, which was the raccoon story.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Stevie officially wins the game and gets one point.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Congratulations Raccoons.
- 33:33Speaker 2: He's down one zero, but he can easily catch up
- 33:36Speaker 2: or past Stevie. We're playing game number two when we
- 33:38Speaker 2: come back, and it's worth two big episode points right
- 33:41Speaker 2: after this, hey man, welcome to uh t w's mailbox.
- 33:55Speaker 2: We're gonna check comments like voice mails. See what we
- 33:58Speaker 2: got this week when you start us off, what we
- 34:01Speaker 2: got rocking? Yeah, your fans had to say.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Through our Patreon and hit these ones up first. So
- 34:07Speaker 1: show number two thirty nine, Aggie makes it worse. This
- 34:10Speaker 1: is the episode Augie took over after you were.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I was high as hell, both were.
- 34:18Speaker 1: It was pretty amazing. Yeah, so we got a bunch
- 34:21Speaker 1: of comments on here. First one it looks like it
- 34:23Speaker 1: comes from David m.
- 34:26Speaker 2: So he says, make it.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Worse warm clothes from the dryer, Yeah, which I thought.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Was freaking smart.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Dude, it's so good.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I would actually argue the opposite. I would say, you
- 34:39Speaker 2: need to use broader topics for make it worse, because
- 34:41Speaker 2: when you make it real specific like that, it gets
- 34:43Speaker 2: too hard and you you you lose it real fast. Yeah,
- 34:46Speaker 2: broader topics will make it last a little bit longer
- 34:48Speaker 2: because it give you more angles of attack on it.
- 34:51Speaker 2: But with warm clothes from the dry it's only so
- 34:52Speaker 2: much you could do. Yeah, having said that, it was
- 34:54Speaker 2: still fun. So yeah, I'm not just something yeah, quick.
- 34:58Speaker 1: And easy, but yeah, David McGinn, he wrote under your
- 35:03Speaker 1: name is Bobby Hill, and you love fresh laundry from
- 35:06Speaker 1: the dryer. You wake up one morning and find a
- 35:08Speaker 1: warm load of laundry from your dryer and replace your
- 35:11Speaker 1: underwear with warm underwear, only to hear your father say,
- 35:16Speaker 1: it's seven thirty in the morning.
- 35:17Speaker 2: I heard of the boy.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Ain't right now? Every time you smell warm laundry, your
- 35:22Speaker 1: father's disappointment in your in your.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Rings, nod your head. That's funny.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Constantly father's disappointment discos.
- 35:35Speaker 3: Every time you do laundry. Here, father's disappointed in you.
- 35:38Speaker 1: It's kind of messed up.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Follow up message, This is Aggie's brain. This is aug
- 35:44Speaker 3: his brain, buffering any questions. Seriously, great job, guys. It's
- 35:47Speaker 3: really great to hear Aggie grow as a podcaster and
- 35:49Speaker 3: talk taking the reins. Oh my god, you and yes,
- 35:52Speaker 3: that was I holy shit. I don't I fucking don't know, man.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I just don't that was so magic because He's like,
- 36:03Speaker 3: the pauses were not added, they were there so messed up.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Did you know you were pausing.
- 36:12Speaker 3: At the time. Yes, But the thing is is that
- 36:14Speaker 3: like I'm like trying to like trying to remember what
- 36:17Speaker 3: I'm trying to say, and all sudden my mouth just stops.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I'm like, what's the next word? Okay, I got the
- 36:23Speaker 3: next word, say the fucking word. What's going on? And
- 36:28Speaker 3: then finally it does it. I'm like okay. And the
- 36:31Speaker 3: whole time, I'm like, I'm trying to not have to
- 36:34Speaker 3: restart either, Like you could see him fighting it so
- 36:38Speaker 3: hard to be like no, just have it goes through
- 36:39Speaker 3: as far as I can. I don't know, man, I'm
- 36:43Speaker 3: fucking insane. I'm pretty sure David m.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Again calling it buffering his genius because that's what it
- 36:49Speaker 2: felt like.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it was lag frame lag one hundred. And then
- 36:53Speaker 3: the last comment here from kristin f dedication to getting
- 36:58Speaker 3: a show out right after getting back from vacation is inspiring,
- 37:01Speaker 3: amazing as always inspiring are just stupid.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna say inspiring because I'll take that compliment and
- 37:09Speaker 1: I will say thank you so much.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I was so worried, like rushed too, because I'm like, a.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was great. I enjoyed it.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought it was fun man like, it was
- 37:21Speaker 1: a good time and it did fly by like it was.
- 37:23Speaker 1: It was a good episode, all right.
- 37:26Speaker 3: This one's on Midnight Smoke at the Illuminarium.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, so yeah, it kind of strikes me
- 37:33Speaker 2: a lot of things in Vegas are just video walls.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Like it's just kind of I mean, that's the thing now,
- 37:38Speaker 3: like video walls.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Really, I think a lot of it. I think a
- 37:42Speaker 1: lot of It's like Vegas is a big place to
- 37:45Speaker 1: go drink, and now drinking has gone away more to
- 37:48Speaker 1: the side and enhancing drugs are are the bigger things.
- 37:53Speaker 1: There's there's dispensaries. People are not just like hitting it hard.
- 37:59Speaker 2: LSD to the Illuminarium. I did not go to this
- 38:05Speaker 2: for the far Leaves.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Thank you very much for the trip there.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Unfortunately Aaron couldn't make it to that one, which kind
- 38:11Speaker 1: of suck because I think he would have liked to
- 38:13Speaker 1: see this and there.
- 38:14Speaker 2: But I get it.
- 38:15Speaker 1: But this was cool. This was actually one of the
- 38:17Speaker 1: free videos we threw up my Patreon and stuff. But yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 1: Kristen uh aft, she wrote on there. We had an
- 38:24Speaker 1: amazing time and it was so true, like walking in
- 38:26Speaker 1: and seeing that first room light up and I'm just
- 38:29Speaker 1: like in all, like literal all.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I just stood and just stared.
- 38:35Speaker 1: For like a good thirty seconds and then turning and
- 38:37Speaker 1: then seeing the rest of the room. It was amazing.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So it was just so much fun because it was
- 38:42Speaker 1: all eight bit too, and it was like late brights.
- 38:44Speaker 2: It was fun.
- 38:48Speaker 1: And then uh, finally, uh, while we were hanging out,
- 38:51Speaker 1: this is the night.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I didn't see this. I went to bed.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I could play it.
- 38:56Speaker 2: It's free, but I'll check it out.
- 39:00Speaker 1: To check it out, it's freaking what's the comment?
- 39:02Speaker 2: I gotta I gotta see what people.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't. I just spliced it all together.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Good comment.
- 39:10Speaker 1: So the comments from Okay, So this is uh the
- 39:14Speaker 1: s Ao Turtle Oreo coke review. Uh, we are our
- 39:18Speaker 1: friend girl Aaron from the On the lie Ie podcast

- 39:34Speaker 3: Yeah, both of disappointing. Yeah. Apparently I have them, but
- 39:40Speaker 3: I was not.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Going to be disappointing.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Well, yeah, but somebody might like it. But regardless, she
- 39:45Speaker 1: did a review of it. I recorded it.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Somebody who like an alien, somebody would decidedly non human
- 39:52Speaker 2: tasting as possible.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Jesus, somebody buys it because somebody approved it, right.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know exactly. Satives are stupid, That's true.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Sometimes corporations just throw money at each other just for
- 40:05Speaker 3: just to see if what.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but regardless, check out the review. I don't want
- 40:10Speaker 1: to spoil too much for Aaron other than I probably
- 40:13Speaker 1: annoyed the hell out of her. And William M's comment was,
- 40:16Speaker 1: how did she not beat you with your own cane?
- 40:18Speaker 3: For that?
- 40:18Speaker 2: To be fair, we spent the entire trip annoying the
- 40:21Speaker 2: ship out of Aaron, and she probably could have and
- 40:24Speaker 2: would have been right dead to rights by just oh.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Godmasing us about the head at that point.
- 40:31Speaker 2: But what I did think I was daring her to
- 40:32Speaker 2: slap me at some point.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you had five slaps or something for what I heard.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Oh yeah, someone mentioned that to me, that that she
- 40:40Speaker 3: has a tally or or you owe her something.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we were jerks to be honest. We love you.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's only we're only drierks because we love you.
- 40:52Speaker 2: We were only because it was funny. I mean it's
- 40:55Speaker 2: funny because it made people two or.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Just horrible, aren't they? Aaron? I would never do that?
- 41:00Speaker 3: Do you.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Would never do that to anybody?
- 41:03Speaker 1: No, he's too nice.
- 41:04Speaker 2: He's got that's why you need to be around. But
- 41:06Speaker 2: it doesn't have a mean bone in his body.
- 41:08Speaker 1: You need to be around us penis.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Angry.
- 41:12Speaker 3: It's always angry. It's always angry, dude.

- 43:34Speaker 3: those like cute sea or like anime or what's the
- 43:40Speaker 3: word chibby chibby, thank you? You have those like chibby
- 43:43Speaker 3: like food things with a little mouth like faces on them.
- 43:46Speaker 3: They're smiling watermelon and you do that, it's just like
- 43:49Speaker 3: a kidney bean or whatever. And you put a like
- 43:52Speaker 3: one of the minute like the menacing like or no,
- 43:54Speaker 3: it's the like the the squinted eyes, but like the
- 43:58Speaker 3: like the cat mouth kind of thing. And then above it,
- 44:00Speaker 3: it's just in big words, just eat a bean and stuff.
- 44:06Speaker 2: All Right with that, I think we're gonna get back
- 44:09Speaker 2: to our games.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Probably probably should get back to it.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Are we out of practice? What the fuck? I don't know.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I'm just like waiting.
- 44:27Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, we're gonna count it down.
- 44:29Speaker 2: All right, It's time for Game two. Motherfuckers. That was amazing, dude, unbelievable.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Game two is an old favorite. We haven't played in
- 44:40Speaker 2: a very long time. It's time to play Who's in
- 44:43Speaker 2: My Mouth? Oh, it was not an imitation. I've got
- 44:50Speaker 2: ten celebrities and fictional characters on a list, and I'm
- 44:52Speaker 2: gonna give you several clues to the identity of just
- 44:55Speaker 2: one of them, and the first player to guess the
- 44:57Speaker 2: correct identity gets a point. There's just two problems. One,
- 45:01Speaker 2: the clues have been run through an automatic translation program
- 45:05Speaker 2: forty times.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Oh god, unrecognizable, so some of them are some.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Of them are unrecognizable. And two, I'm going to read
- 45:14Speaker 2: these clues in a completely unrelated voice, so it's not
- 45:18Speaker 2: an imitation. It's it's just not an okay, will not
- 45:24Speaker 2: be a clue to the person or your fictional character, whatsoever.
- 45:28Speaker 2: The first player to get three points wins the game
- 45:30Speaker 2: and earns two episode points. So, Aggie, you lost last game.
- 45:35Speaker 2: You have the choice, would you like to be in
- 45:37Speaker 2: control first or would you like Stevie to be in
- 45:40Speaker 2: control first?
- 45:41Speaker 1: I'll go first, Okay, control lot in.
- 45:44Speaker 2: That in case. Here are the ten celebrities and fictional
- 45:48Speaker 2: characters that these clues could be about. Bruce Willis, Michelle
- 45:55Speaker 2: ye Oh, Jason Vorhees, Jason Statham, Jamie Lee, Curtis, Corey Feldman,
- 46:04Speaker 2: Chuck Norris, Michael Myers, Hayley, Joel Osmond or Jet Lee.
- 46:12Speaker 2: All Right, our players have already written these names down,
- 46:15Speaker 2: so they're gonna be thinking about those particular people as
- 46:17Speaker 2: we go into our clues. Here's our first person, our
- 46:21Speaker 2: first identity. I was born a musician and a pastor, Oggie,
- 46:31Speaker 2: it's not much to go on. Would you like to
- 46:34Speaker 2: take a guess or would you like to pass control
- 46:36Speaker 2: to Stevie? Hmmm? Remember if you get it wrong, you
- 46:40Speaker 2: give him a free guess on the next clue.
- 46:43Speaker 3: And a pastor, Oh, god, oh man, Yeah, no, I
- 46:53Speaker 3: gotta pass this.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Okay, Stevie, do you want to take a shot or
- 46:56Speaker 2: are you going to pass it right back?
- 46:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna pass it for the clue.
- 47:00Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough, Aggie, you remain in control. We're gonna
- 47:03Speaker 2: move on to clue number two. I became famous in
- 47:07Speaker 2: nineteen eighty four. Pass OGGI passes again, Stevie, pass or
- 47:18Speaker 2: take a shot.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I think I want to take a shot at this.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Oh boy, all right, who do you think these clues
- 47:23Speaker 2: are about?
- 47:24Speaker 1: Jamie Lee Curtis is wrong?
- 47:27Speaker 2: Damn it?
- 47:28Speaker 1: Sorry right, I really did so.
- 47:31Speaker 5: Uh.
- 47:32Speaker 2: We're going to pass control back to Augie. You get
- 47:34Speaker 2: a free guess on this next clue. AUGI my first
- 47:39Speaker 2: film was a horror film that stabbed many lives. Now,
- 47:46Speaker 2: bearing in mind, it is not Jamie Lee Curtis. Who
- 47:51Speaker 2: is your free guess? Two people.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Pick the wrong one. All he doesn't watch these movies.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I know, I.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Don'tchael Myers Michael Myers is wrong.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Sorry, sorry, but you don't lose control. You maintain control.
- 48:08Speaker 2: As we go to clue number four. Michael Jackson has
- 48:13Speaker 2: made a huge impact and has released several albums, So
- 48:21Speaker 2: bear in mind this is clue number four. What do
- 48:25Speaker 2: you want to take a stab at this? Or do
- 48:29Speaker 2: you want to pass to Stevie? Pass? Okay, Stevie, Bearing
- 48:34Speaker 2: in mind, this is clue number four. Clue five usually
- 48:37Speaker 2: gives it away. Michael, do you want to take a
- 48:39Speaker 2: stab at this? Bearing in mind if you get it wrong,
- 48:43Speaker 2: you're gonna give a too. F two free guesses at
- 48:46Speaker 2: the final clue, So it's up to you whether you'd
- 48:49Speaker 2: like to take a shot.
- 48:50Speaker 1: So difficult. I don't know. I'm just gonna knock this
- 48:54Speaker 1: out because I don't know if I If I lose
- 48:56Speaker 1: the first one, that's fine. I'm already had one game.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna goes. I don't think it's true, but I'm
- 49:02Speaker 1: gonna go with it.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Jason Vorhees is absolutely wrong. Sorry not Jason. So you
- 49:11Speaker 2: get a free guess at this, and if you're wrong,
- 49:13Speaker 2: you'll get to take another shot at it if you want.
- 49:16Speaker 2: There will be no point in passing. There's there's no
- 49:20Speaker 2: point in passing on this. Yeah, all right, So Hi,
- 49:24Speaker 2: you get two shots at this before Stevie gets another chance.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Here's clue number five. I'm famous for mouthing the goonies.
- 49:43Speaker 2: You look still clueless, but you have two guesses at
- 49:46Speaker 2: this Corey Feldman, he is right, absolutely right, Okay. He
- 49:53Speaker 2: was born to a musician and pastor where his parents.
- 49:59Speaker 2: He first became famous in nineteen eighty four. That was
- 50:01Speaker 2: his big break in the horror film that Stabbed Many Lives.
- 50:04Speaker 2: It was actually one of the Friday the Thirteenth movies.
- 50:06Speaker 2: If I'm not mistaken. Corey Feldman's first film, Michael Jackson's
- 50:11Speaker 2: had a huge impact on him and he Corey Feldman
- 50:15Speaker 2: has released many albums, that's the confusion with clue number four,
- 50:21Speaker 2: and he's most famous for being Mouth in the Goonies. Yeah,
- 50:28Speaker 2: good one, Well done, Aggie, you have the first point.
- 50:31Speaker 2: We're gonna switch over to Stabe. Now you start with
- 50:35Speaker 2: control on. I know you know now that this is
- 50:40Speaker 2: not Corey Feldman, but every other name is back in play.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Let's get k spelling Corey Filman out of here.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Corey with a All right, Stevie, you're in control. As
- 50:49Speaker 2: we go to second identity, first clue, I am the
- 50:54Speaker 2: youngest of two sons and two daughters, and my family
- 50:58Speaker 2: was poor when my father died. Mmmm, this is me
- 51:08Speaker 2: on the list.
- 51:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to pass okay.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Stevie passes, Aggie. Do you want to play or pass? Pass?
- 51:15Speaker 1: Okay?
- 51:16Speaker 2: We move on to clue number two. Stevie, you are
- 51:19Speaker 2: still in control. Okay. I discovered my talent at the
- 51:24Speaker 2: age of twelve.
- 51:28Speaker 3: H any one of these child actors? I thought there
- 51:36Speaker 3: is any.
- 51:37Speaker 1: End list youngest. Oh hmmm, I'm gonna to pass again.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Okay. Back to Augie. Would you like to play or pass? Pass?
- 51:50Speaker 2: On to clue number three.
- 51:52Speaker 3: I'm not like you making a stupid game.
- 51:54Speaker 2: He's not giving you any freebies, Stevie. Clue number three,
- 52:00Speaker 2: My first film in nineteen eighty two was a commercial success. Again,
- 52:08Speaker 2: could be anyone of them?
- 52:11Speaker 3: Not that.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Mm hmm pass with Wait? Oh man, it's difficult.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Are we going all the way to clue four without
- 52:22Speaker 2: a single guest? We are? Why passing? Okay to you?
- 52:27Speaker 2: Back to you now it gets interesting. Remember clue four
- 52:30Speaker 2: is the second to last. Here is your clue. He
- 52:35Speaker 2: is playing a villain for the first time with mel Gibson.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Play or pass pass? Oh, Augie? Are we going to
- 52:56Speaker 2: get to clue five without a guess age or my cash?
- 53:02Speaker 1: This is so hard.
- 53:06Speaker 3: I want I guess so bad, but I know I'd
- 53:09Speaker 3: be wrong, so pass.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Wow. Okay, here is the fifth and final clue, and
- 53:16Speaker 2: I have to warn you this doesn't necessarily give it away.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Clue number five and final clue. I got this name
- 53:26Speaker 2: because I started early, like a we.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Both like that.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Like what what.
- 53:39Speaker 1: He started early?
- 53:41Speaker 2: Clue number five? There is no point in passing.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I'll go Jetly and that.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Is absolutely right, well done? What Yes, it's jet lye.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Holy crazy. That was difficult.
- 53:56Speaker 2: It was the youngest of four uh and and his
- 54:00Speaker 2: father died very when he was very young. His talent
- 54:04Speaker 2: at dancing was discovered at the age of twelve. He
- 54:10Speaker 2: made his first movie in nineteen eighty two and it
- 54:12Speaker 2: was a hit. The first time he got to play
- 54:14Speaker 2: a villain was in Lethal Weapon four with Mel Gibson.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Oh fuck, I forgot about that. And he got his
- 54:22Speaker 2: name because he started early. I don't remember what the
- 54:26Speaker 2: initial clue was for this because I set these games
- 54:29Speaker 2: up weeks ago. But I believe it's the fact that
- 54:33Speaker 2: he was the first person to set every morning. Oh
- 54:36Speaker 2: really okayeah, no, he makes I believe, And someone nicknamed
- 54:41Speaker 2: him jet That's cool.
- 54:44Speaker 3: I like that.
- 54:45Speaker 2: So that is a point to both players. So each
- 54:48Speaker 2: have one. So let's move on to identity number three.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Oh cool, and you start in control this time.
- 54:54Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Yeah right. I was born to Vilma and Ray. My
- 55:00Speaker 2: parents were missionaries.
- 55:03Speaker 3: You mean he they did missionary and that's why you
- 55:05Speaker 3: were born.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Could be pass Stevie.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Now I had to pass as well?
- 55:17Speaker 2: All right? Yeah, back to clue number two. You're still
- 55:21Speaker 2: in control. When my parents divorced, my father stopped drinking
- 55:26Speaker 2: and partying.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Good context, so we know what the reason was for
- 55:31Speaker 1: your drinking and partying.
- 55:33Speaker 2: OGGI passes.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Ah, I have an idea, but I'm at the passing
- 55:39Speaker 1: and our clue.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Okay, back to Augie for clue number three. I saw
- 55:45Speaker 2: it in the first movie when I was a soldier
- 55:51Speaker 2: player pass. You can see the wheels turning, passes to Stevie.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Stevie to take the lead. Who do you think it is?
- 56:10Speaker 1: Chuck Norris?
- 56:12Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry, that's right, he's absolutely.
- 56:18Speaker 3: I shouldn't have second guessed myself because I was looking
- 56:21Speaker 3: at Chucked Doors. I'm like, he's the only one I
- 56:23Speaker 3: know who's played a soldier.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Okay, so true true story. Almost all of these clues
- 56:30Speaker 2: are bastardized, so bad. His parents' names are Velma and Ray.
- 56:35Speaker 2: But they're not missionaries. They're not missionary.
- 56:39Speaker 1: He's got missionary.
- 56:41Speaker 2: I think. I think his father was a pastor and
- 56:43Speaker 2: his mother was a waitress. I think not missionaries. I
- 56:48Speaker 2: know they weren't missionaries. That's that's horribly wrong in the mistranslation.
- 56:54Speaker 2: When his parents divorced, his father started drinking in parties,
- 56:58Speaker 2: not stopped. He said. His first movie, he played a soldier.
- 57:02Speaker 2: The clues we didn't get it was the only clue
- 57:04Speaker 2: that the clues we didn't get to. My brother is
- 57:08Speaker 2: not like me, but he is the main reason for
- 57:10Speaker 2: my success. Is heavily bastardized from my brother. Aaron Norris
- 57:16Speaker 2: is is very skilled director and directs most of my movies.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Yea, and he was Texas Walker Ranger.
- 57:24Speaker 2: And to the final clue was to me, you're better
- 57:26Speaker 2: than Texas Ranger Walker.
- 57:30Speaker 1: That would be Chuck Norris, my grandfather and I used
- 57:33Speaker 1: to watch this.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Shh, yeah, same agi.
- 57:36Speaker 2: You remain in control as we go to identity number four, Stevie,
- 57:40Speaker 2: if you win this one, you win the game. So Augie,
- 57:42Speaker 2: you got to take back. Here is your first clue.
- 57:47Speaker 2: I don't know my father, but my mother cooks. Pass Stevie,
- 57:56Speaker 2: you look like you're thinking about taking a shot at this.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I know on this list that cooks. That's why I'm
- 58:02Speaker 1: thinking about taking it now and just seeing if I
- 58:04Speaker 1: can take it. But then you would get a free shot.
- 58:07Speaker 2: He would get a free shot. Yeah.
- 58:09Speaker 1: How many questions are this thing?
- 58:11Speaker 2: Five? There are five total?
- 58:13Speaker 1: Have a chance, I'm gonna take the shot. Go ahead, Jason,
- 58:17Speaker 1: it is not.
- 58:21Speaker 2: So that's incorrect. This clue is just for you. I
- 58:26Speaker 2: don't know if it's gonna help. He was born with
- 58:30Speaker 2: water or honey, as they called him. What the fuck?
- 58:39Speaker 3: Born with water or honey?
- 58:41Speaker 2: What are the boo bear? Give me a real answer.
- 58:47Speaker 3: If you can, we'll go with Bruce Willis.
- 58:53Speaker 2: Is incorrect.
- 58:55Speaker 3: That was like the only other person.
- 58:56Speaker 2: But you stay in control as we go to clue
- 58:59Speaker 2: number three. I made my first film in nineteen eighty
- 59:05Speaker 2: when I was very young.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Guess, oh ye, Jamie Lee curves.
- 59:16Speaker 2: It's incorrect. F Steven, you get a free guess on.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Cue number four.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Screwed myself, all right, So I think I'll se Stevie
- 59:26Speaker 1: free shot of here's Osmond.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Okay, you don't even want to hear Clue number four.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I don't even want it.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Okay, that's incorrect.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Damn it, I thought I had it.
- 59:36Speaker 2: We'll move on to clue number five. I won't even
- 59:38Speaker 2: tell you clue number four.
- 59:39Speaker 3: You don't want it. Yeah, they probably won't help.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Any I'll give you the clue, but you can't guess
- 59:44Speaker 2: on it because you already guessed.
- 59:45Speaker 1: That's true.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Many people died in my film, and the fifth and
- 59:52Speaker 2: final clue this genuinely won't.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Help avoid washing with clean water. Oh, I know exactly that, Stevie.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: You are in control. There is no point in passing
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: at this point. This is the final clue, so you
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: take your next stab as it were.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Umm, Jason Voorhees, because the water thing, the lake.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: It's exactly right, well done, well done.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: That clue did make me think it was Jason vhes.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: I just looked at it and went, I didn't remember
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: what the fuck it's talking about. But of course it's
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: referring to stay away from Crystal Lake. Yes, exactly, yeah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Jason Voorhees never met his father, but his mother was
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: a chef. I don't remember what he was born with,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: water or honey as they called him. Refers to genuinely
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: don't remember what the hell that means. In his first
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: film in nineteen eighty, he was very young. He appeared
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: as a young boy at very very beginning. That was it.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: You only see his hand at the very end as
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: an adult quote unquote. And of course many people died
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: in that movie. And Stay Away from Crystal Lake was
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: a good one.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: Maybe talking about him coming out of the water, well done, water,
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: It could be, could be. Oh no, I know what
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: this was. He was born with water on the brain.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: He had hydro hydro. That's what that clue is referring to.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: He was born with hydro. Seconds. Yeah, okay, and that
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: got that got horrendously twisted ship. Thank you translation Burger.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: But Stevie has won the game. Three identities are his
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: yay movie. No, we won't even get the last one,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: but do you want to play it anyway?
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Yes, as well as well.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: I come from a rich family. My father is a
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: senator either. You can guess. It's obviously if you have
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: any ideas take a stab.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Willis family doesn't have anyone in that, so it's gotta be.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I don't know, Haley, Joel, I can give you the
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: next clue.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: I learned to dance from childhood until my back hurt. Dancer. Okay.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: From that point I would probably say Jamie Lee Curtis.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Okay, still thinking Haley, Jamie Lee Curtis is wrong. Let's
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: move on to clue number three. Yes, Madam was founded
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty five with my face.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Yes, madam, Yes, ma'am.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Huh I know it? Can I say it?
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know if you want to Michael Myers wrong. No, Oh,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be dude man's face and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it's what the Oh?
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the fourth clue, and this one's really funny
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: if you know who it is. I have done all
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: the things now nothing nothing, all right. Clue number five
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: worked me with Jackie Chan and James Bond.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Oh it's Jason Statham.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Jason Stathum wrong?
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: What what was its?
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Instead of I've done all the things now, I said
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: I've done everything everywhere, all at once.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Fucking Michelle Yoe.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. Oh. Michelle Yo came from a
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: rich family. Her father really was a senator. That she
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: was a dancer from childhood until she had a spinal injury,
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: and instead she did a movie in nineteen eighty five
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: called Yes Madam, where she was the lead. The fourth
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: clue was I've done everything everywhere, all at once, and
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: the final clue was I've worked with Jackie Chan and James.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Bond and Shet Yes Madam, sounder familiar?
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Interesting Anyway, that was just for fun. Stevie is still
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: the winner. Stevie has three points to Augie's zero. Augie,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: it's gonna come down to game three.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You can do it.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: I got faith from you. We're gonna find out right
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: after this.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Hey there, I'm date the host of Beer in Front.
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: Sometimes the beer in front of you is the best
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: one yet. I'll talk about some old school beers that
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: maybe you've forgotten about, some new beers that have the
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: potential to be a classic. I'll also talk to various
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: people around the beer world and did their stories all
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: about beer. That's Beer in Front and it's available on
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: all of your favorite podcast apps.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: I really liked how your hand was the clock as
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: you counted down, and then then at zero, your hand
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: touched the touch No, it touched the touch screen to Yeah,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: that's genius. Anyway. Welcome, Welcome to game three. This is
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: going to decide it. It's the cost is correct. Stevie's
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: got three points, Augi has zero. This game is worth
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: three points, so Augie needs to get this to tie.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: I'm playing his game too, which sucks.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Is not a good It's not a good game for
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: for Augie typically.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Bomb time, So I did.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Time. So, considering the last game was all pretty much
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: about horror movies and movie you know, characters and actors
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: and so forth, I picked items related to them to
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: the people from this list. So I've got three items
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: that went up for auction on eBay. All you have
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: to do is tell me what was the final auction price?
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: What did this item go for? In the end, the
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: player who's the closest without going over will win the
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: listing and earn themselves one point for the game. The
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: first player to win two listings and two points wins
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: this game and gets themselves three episode points and either
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: ties it up or makes it clean sweet, depending on
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: who does it. We're gonna find out now, oh boy,
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: and we're gonna do this. We're gonna do the same
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: way we do when we when we have just two people.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: It's going to be a final bid style. So you
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: just keep bidding and bidding until I tell you it's fun.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Our first item up for bids is this fantastic signed poster.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: This framed poster for the original nineteen eighty Friday the
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Thirteenth movie has been signed by eleven members of the
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: cast and crew of the film and professionally authenticated by
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Beckett Authentication, and this listing can be yours if the
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: cost is correct. Augie, what is your first bid? One thousand,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: one thousand dollars, says Augie. Stevie. Eleven hundred, eleven hundred
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: dollars says Stevie Augie. One thousand, five hundred, one thousand
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: and five hundred dollars says Augie. Stevie.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Wow, that is hired, and I thought it would be
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: again starting on.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: I mean it's from a film, a very popular one,
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: Toot Wiggle with seventeen fifty.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: Seventeen fifty, says Stevie Augie. Two thousand, two thousand dollars
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: says Augie. Stevie.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Wow, okay, twenty two hundred.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Twenty two hundred dollars, says Stevie.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Augie, whoa twenty six.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Twenty six hundred dollars. I will call for final bitsky,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: so Stevie you can bid anywhere between twenty two hundred
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: and whatever your maximum is. Uh, yours is twenty six
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: hundred twenty six. He is either close or he has
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: gone over, or I'm not even there.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: I don't need this point so badly. The first one
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I'm not too worried about. I'm gonna stay where I'm mad.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I think I got gonna.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Stick at twenty two.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I got forty four.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: So you're sticking at twenty two. You have a four
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: hundred dollars buffer, Agie, would you like to stick at
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: twenty six? Yeah, just from a gameplay point of view,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: it doesn't make sense to up yourself, so twenty six.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: What I mean if I could go at myself, I
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: would anyway you would. So Stevie bids twenty two hundred.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Ogi bids twenty six hundred. The actual final auction price
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: of this item twenty eight point fifty. So Augie takes
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: the first listing. Well done, point, well done. Congratulations. First
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: listing goes to you your lead. You literally just need one,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: but Steve could take those of these. Yeah, one more,
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: one more, and you are the winner. That's it, dude.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I already in my brain, I'm like I already
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: lost the next That's why.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: I'm giving up on the second one. So you got
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: this all right, So to give a little you start
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: us off. Our second item up for bids. This collectible
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: video game, this factory sealed copy of the nineteen eighty
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: seven release of The Goonies two by Konami for the
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Nintendo Entertainment System has a vg A rating of eighty five,
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: and this listing can be yours if the cost is correct. Stevie,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: start us off.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Is there a Goonies too?
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: I guess so, not movie and not a movie, but
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: there is a video game that game? Okay, what the fuck?
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I guess they started at like two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Two fifty, Augie three three fifty, Stevie were jumping. Let's
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: go five fifty five fifty Augie one thousand, Yeah, one
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: thousand dollars, Stevie.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Two thousand dollars, two thousand dollars.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: I will call for Fox.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Every goddamn god, damn. I have too much fun with
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: the bid.
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: One thousand, six hundred.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Okay, you didn't have to, but I that's well.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: I wanted to close the gap in case he was closer.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: He might not have gone over. He might.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: If you think he's close, you should go over him.
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: If you think he's over, you should stay where you're at.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: He's winning though this, he's literally limiting. I already told
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: you this. It's less than sixteen hundreds.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: I already prepared to lose fun and so I could
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: win the next one.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: All right, So six seen hundred is it's locked in, Stevee,
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: do you want to stick a two thousand? Okay, you're
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: sticking a two thousands, all right?
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: The actual fucking nineteen ninety nine, bullshit.
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: Sixteen hundred, Stevie, two thousand. The actual final auction price
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: of this video game is nineteen hundred sixty four dollars.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: Augie wins, which means Aggie has won three points and
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: we have a tie.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: We have a tie for the first week back in studio.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: We have a tie.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: Yep, a tie I'll take, which means it's time for
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: a type breaker. Well, we have a third item on
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: our list. Whichever one of you takes this will take
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: the entire episode. Uh, Augie, you won the last one,
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: So Stevie, you will start the bids on our final
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: item of forbids. It is this beautiful embossed poster. This
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: limited edition gorgeous and intricate art poster for Everything, Everywhere,
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: All at Once, has been signed by the artist James
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Jane and numbered seven hundred and seventy nine, and this
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: listing can be yours if the cost is correct. I
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: did not look into how many of these that were made.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: I suspect. I suspect probably a thousand usually, but it's
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: a limited item signed by the artist Stevie take it away.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: A thousand seems reasonable to have an artist signed, That's.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: What I would say. Yeah, that's a lot of them. Thought.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: Four hundred dollars, four hundred dollars Ogie eight eight hundred,
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Stevie nine hundred, nine hundred, one thousand, one thousand, Stevie
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: thirteen hundred, thirteen hundred, Augie seventeen hundred. I will call
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: for final bits fucker.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Sixteen ninety nine.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You said seventeen hundred.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it can be yours.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: A penny off ya now.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: Seventeen fifty seventeen fifty, Wowie, you are at top. You
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: are at seventeen hundred. What would you like to bid?
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: You cannot bid lower than seventeen.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: Fifty seventeen sixty nine.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: I like it. So Stevie has been seventeen fifty, Augie
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: has been seventeen sixty nine. You have not gone over.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: The final auction price of this item is two thousand
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: and eighty five dollars, which means Augie has won all
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: three items.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: You are the new costs is correct Champions or game.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: See. The problem with that final bits thing is you
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: cannot go above the player who triggered it by a
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: small amount. You have to jump enough to make them
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: consider whether or not they should. But if you jump
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: too high, you're over.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: You're and it's so difficult to where that is. Yeah,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: oh crap.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: If you come over top seventeen oh one, he's immediately
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: going to come back seventeen oh two and the top.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: If you've both gone over, then it doesn't matter. But
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: if not, then he just wins. Period.
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: At some point I'm like, did we both go over?
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Or just fucking right?
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: That was awesome though, great, great, great show.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Well he comes back. He earns a bonus point for
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: winning the tie breaker. He has won the episode three.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, well done, well done, and for someone
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: who said he couldn't do it and then immediately wins
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: all three absolutely just destroyed it thoroughly impressed sir. Uh well,
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: it just leaves me to thank these two fools. See you,
