  to watch The Real Housewives of Salt Lake, and so

  she watches it and kind of tells us what's going on,

  so we're not completely clueless.

  more entertaining you.

  Speaker 1: So what is this episode?

  Speaker 2: So episode we're episode nine. It's called Revenge is Best

  Served in Coach, which is my I so far, my

  favorite title so far. I know I've been complaining about

  the titles of the episodes and this this is my favorite,

  which I'll explain. So it's a super sized episode for

  those who are our who care. Like I said, I

  love this title. We are still in Palm Springs on
• 0:57
  the couple's trip, and then we are officially halfway through

  because we got the still to Come this season on
• 1:06
  trailer at the end of the episode, so I think
• 1:08
  we're about halfway through. Yes, all right, So here are
• 1:11
  the key takeaways and here's'mon to organize my recap of

  the episode. So first I want to say leave Braun
• 1:16
  went alone, second, Lisa officially sucks, and then Sean, Seth
• 1:21
  and Justin are Weenie's and those are some of the husbands.

  Let's start with Lee Braun went alone, so she is
• 1:28
  the new housewive, and of course she's going to get
• 1:30
  picked on. But I really think they're all going too
• 1:33
  far from this. I do think Bronwin can handle it,
• 1:35
  but it's too much. So they're in Pump Springs. This
• 1:39
  is her party that she's hosting. They had been very
• 1:42
  judging about her relationship with our husband. She and her
• 1:45
  husband are twenty six years apart, but that doesn't mean
• 1:49
  they can't have a legit relationship or their relationship they want,
• 1:52
  and so they have to keep bringing that up. And
• 1:56
  they are starting to think that they don't love the dynamicus.

  His name is Todd. They don't love the dynamic between
• 2:02
  her and Todd. And it's mostly in confessional that we're
• 2:04
  getting right now their thoughts about the relationship, and so
• 2:08
  I think there's gonna be some confrontations down the line.

  Speaker 1: Does anybody ever say, what business is it of yours?

  Speaker 2: They do like Bronlan like. It was the first one
• 2:18
  of the first three episodes bron was really good at
• 2:20
  shutting that down and put them in their place, which
• 2:22
  I think they struggle with. But yes, she's been good
• 2:24
  about that. And then the big thing that happens this week.

  So one of the things I've mentioned is this thing
• 2:29
  that Bronwin has going on with her baby daddy's family
• 2:32
  that wants to be in contact with her daughter now.
• 2:35
  And Lisa, one of the housewives, got involved, and so
• 2:38
  they're sitting around dinner, all the couples, and they're talking
• 2:40
  about this, and Bronlin has told us in confessional that
• 2:44
  her husband is very protective of her and her daughter
• 2:47
  and doesn't want any of this to happen at the
• 2:50
  daughter to get in contact with the baby daddy's family
• 2:53
  because he doesn't think they've been very nice because they haven't.
• 2:55
  So they're sitting at dinner and Angie brings this up,
• 2:58
  and it creates a lot of tension because Todd does
• 3:01
  not want this talked about, and so he keeps talking
• 3:03
  over bron whin and he keeps correcting what she's saying.

  And I don't love that for their relationship, but I
• 3:10
  do think it's coming from a protective place, and he
• 3:13
  should let her have her moment. But I do also
• 3:14
  think he does not think that she even be on
• 3:16
  the show and probably shouldn't. Like I like. What I
• 3:20
  like about the show is the silly stuff that doesn't
• 3:22
  really run. This seems almost too serious. Yes, and that's
• 3:26
  that's what I and that's I totally agree with you, Gena,
• 3:29
  and that's what this is. This is kind of stinky.

  Speaker 1: But what do you do when your husband does that
• 3:33
  to you?

  Speaker 2: It depends on that's either shutting down or lasting.

  Speaker 1: Just wonder.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, So anyway, so yeah, so please leave brahm and alone.

  And also I just love her. She had a Madiachi
• 3:52
  band at their anniversary party. They played all the hits.

  We got to hear everything. So leave Brahmin alone. This

  is the worse and this is the funny start. I

  guess this is like the solicitor. We can judge. But
• 4:03
  also Lisa sucks. So she has a complete meltdown because
• 4:07
  she can't fly home first class. Why she well, well,
• 4:12
  so what happened was they flew to Palm Springs on
• 4:15
  Bronwin and her husband's private jet, but so for some reason,
• 4:18
  they can't take the private jet home and so Bronwin
• 4:21
  booked them all commercial flights, and so Bronn the book
• 4:24
  the seats and she put her and her husband in
• 4:26
  first class, of course, but I guess there weren't many
• 4:28
  first class seats on the plane, and so everybody just
• 4:30
  got whatever was available. And so the flight booked, and
• 4:35
  so Lisa and her husband are second coach, and she says,
• 4:37
  I haven't blown coach since college. She would have a breakdown.
• 4:41
  And it's gross because they were just talking about how
• 4:44
  they missed their kid and they were so excited at home,
• 4:47
  and then she finds out she's in coach and now
• 4:49
  she is frantically trying to find either a different flight
• 4:52
  or a different seat. It's from Palm Springs, far yes,
• 5:00
  and that's what they kept saying. I think it was
• 5:01
  a fifty minute flight, like it wasn't very long or
• 5:05
  something like that anyway, And so I do feel bad
• 5:08
  for her husband. He sincerely is like, don't you want
• 5:10
  to get home? And she's like, no, I'd rather wait
• 5:12
  longer and fly in a bigger seat. It's so gross.

  Speaker 1: These are horrible people. Yes, they're horrible.

  Speaker 2: And I will say something similar happened on the Real
• 5:20
  Housewives of New York last season, and but I will
• 5:23
  forgive Jenna way before I'll forgive Lead.

  Speaker 1: Well, I don't blame you.

  Speaker 2: I knew you'd get me. I get you.

  Speaker 1: I understand girlfriend.

  Speaker 2: So the next is the husbands are weenies, specifically Sean,

  Seth and Justin, so I will stay without going into

  a lot of detail, they play a version of the
• 5:47
  Newlywed game, and the husbands are lazy based on some
• 5:49
  of their responses. So and then I really don't again,
• 5:55
  like this is getting into the icky territory of I
• 5:58
  like to watch the women bicker and I have their
• 6:00
  you know issues, but we're getting these conflict with men
• 6:03
  versus the women. And so we've got a fight going
• 6:06
  on with Sean and Meridith, We've got a fight going
• 6:07
  on with Justin and Lisa. And then at dinner, Whitney's
• 6:11
  I think, actually having a conversation with Meredith and says
• 6:15
  her husband pulls up that they want to see receipts
• 6:18
  or proof, and so he put he pulls up something
• 6:20
  on his phone and he yelled at Whitney across the table.
• 6:24
  He yells proof, beyat and he says ooh, and no
• 6:29
  one says anything. Whitney's husband doesn't say anything. Meredith's husband
• 6:34
  doesn't say anything. They all just sit there and I,
• 6:38
  this is not good. This is not a good look,
• 6:41
  and and Whitney does say something like did you just
• 6:44
  call me a b hos? Anyway, I don't like this,
• 6:47
  and I don't think I've seen anything as bad as
• 6:50
  this on other franchises. So they're weenies.

  Speaker 1: Oh so it'll be more popular than ever, Yeah.

  Speaker 2: I unfortunately, yes, yeah, it doesn't help with the state

  of world. At the risk of starting stuff, I do

  want to mention something. So we Mary and Heather did

  not go on the trip with the with the other

  ladies and the couples. So we get a moment where
• 7:15
  Mary goes to talk to her son. So Mary's son
• 7:18
  still looks at home. He's maybe married. They keep putting
• 7:21
  his wife in quotes, and so she goes into their
• 7:24
  bedroom and they're sitting in bed eating and they look
• 7:28
  very young. I think they're maybe twenty one. And I
• 7:31
  noticed that his wife, her blush looked really weird. I'm like,
• 7:35
  does she not know how to put on makeup? But
• 7:38
  I think she has a black eye? And I start
• 7:41
  something I did. I didn't want to post this because
• 7:44
  I don't want if it's icky. If it's true, this
• 7:46
  is horrible, but we do see some drama coming that
• 7:49
  Mary says there's gonna be an issue with her son,
• 7:51
  and so I'm really maybe worried because the vibe was
• 7:54
  very strange and again we're getting into possibly getting into
• 7:57
  some icky characters. Fast food, that's what you care about?

  Speaker 1: Well, I mean there might be a clue there. Oh okay,

  So what was going on?

  Speaker 2: It was so weird because Mary goes into their bedroom
• 8:10
  and they're sitting in bed eating and there's no conversation
• 8:12
  and Mary's like, so we're just eating now, and they said, yep,
• 8:15
  it was. It was very stilted, and so it was
• 8:18
  very weird. But again, I hope Mahew's going on. If
• 8:21
  someone wants to see the still I took DM me, okay,
• 8:24
  do we have time for quotes a couple?

  Speaker 1: Yeah?

  Speaker 2: Sure, okay, all right, So so here's again Bronwin Is

  I think is the star She said, I could have

  sworn I was about to get an apology from Lisa.

  It takes Lisa so long to get an apology, but

  that by the time we get there, someone else is
• 8:39
  mad at her for something totally different, and so there
• 8:43
  is a dinner table, and and Lisa is on the
• 8:46
  verge of apologizing, and then Whitney makes it about her.

  Of course, Whitney always makes it about her. And then
• 8:50
  now they're arguing, and then this is Lisa's like, so smart, comeback,
• 8:55
  there's more proof in my tequila than comes out of you.

  Oh exactly. And then and then Bronwin, all we needed
• 9:04
  was John Barlow to tell us that's the end, and
• 9:06
  it would tie this all up with a pretty little bowl.

  All we need was the men to come and solve
• 9:11
  all our silly women problems. Because he's trying to like
• 9:14
  settle one of the fights. And I will say, production
• 9:17
  made this amazing cut. So Bronwin says this in confession, like, oh,
• 9:20
  thank goodness, we have John Barlow, and they cut to
• 9:22
  like the credits and it says next time on the
• 9:24
  Rough Housewives. And so they made it seem like that
• 9:27
  was the end of the episode. I thought that was
• 9:28
  kind of clever. And then and then we get this
• 9:32
  is Bronwyn's husband. They're at their anniversary party. He's he's
• 9:35
  introducing people and explaining environments there and he says, those
• 9:38
  guys own a tequila company. Mediocre tequila. So that's his
• 9:42
  shade at.
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: Right?

  Speaker 2: No, Oh my gosh, is that what Levina's or yeah,

  laita no maybe translate to I don't know, all right.

  So our drinking game this week is soy, yo, I'm

  the problem, so yo, take a drink each time someone

  says husband, I'm again like and it's a lot. I'm

  so over them being so involved and so the only
• 10:09
  way I can deal with this right now is by
• 10:11
  drinking and hoping that this passes the whole husband's storyline thing.

  Speaker 1: I hope it does two because I don't like them either.
