- 0:22Speaker 1: Jojo la Ricci. I've been just developing a great friendship
- 0:26Speaker 1: and I love her collaborative spirit energy. You're going to
- 0:30Speaker 1: get experienced just a whole wealth of knowledge background where
- 0:34Speaker 1: we are going to dive into how do you become seen,
- 0:38Speaker 1: how do you become heard? How do you get be
- 0:40Speaker 1: un remembered in a world that's just so busy, There's
- 0:43Speaker 1: so many things going on, and Jojo is a master
- 0:45Speaker 1: at this, and I just thought, Jojo, we got to
- 0:47Speaker 1: have you come on the podcast and share with our
- 0:49Speaker 1: audience kind of your journey and how you help business
- 0:52Speaker 1: owners and leaders get their story out there. And so, Jojo,
- 0:56Speaker 1: welcome to the podcast.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you well. You know, I want to
- 1:02Speaker 2: share a story right out of the gate, how do
- 1:05Speaker 2: you get seen, her in and remembered?
- 1:07Speaker 3: And I'm going to share a story about a gentleman.
- 1:11Speaker 2: His name is John Petree and I met John in
- 1:15Speaker 2: nineteen eighty.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Three, and John is an artist.
- 1:19Speaker 2: He's known throughout the world and this was back in
- 1:24Speaker 2: nineteen eighty three, and I said, John, why is it
- 1:27Speaker 2: that you are making one hundred thousand to five hundred
- 1:31Speaker 2: thousand per painting and this stoven artists all around the world,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and you're an artist that's alive and you're not that old.
- 1:42Speaker 2: What are you doing that's making you stand out? And
- 1:47Speaker 2: he said, that's a very good question. He said, I
- 1:51Speaker 2: will add in my painting a couple of a couple
- 1:54Speaker 2: of hundred strokes here, a couple of extra strokes there.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And what happens when you look at his paintings you
- 2:03Speaker 2: fall into the paintings. The moral of the story is
- 2:08Speaker 2: John does what we call ad value. He goes above
- 2:15Speaker 2: and beyond in this world. Whatever business you're in, you
- 2:23Speaker 2: have to make yourself stand out. What are you doing
- 2:30Speaker 2: that's different from everyone else in your same profession, because
- 2:35Speaker 2: if you're doing the same thing, then you're just one
- 2:37Speaker 2: of many. You're just you're not going to stand out. Yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 2: and what John Petree did really has stuck into my head.
- 2:49Speaker 2: And going fast forward. I've been in media since the
- 2:55Speaker 2: age of eleven. I'm now seventy one and a half,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and I know women are supposed to tell the age
- 3:00Speaker 2: who cares.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I'm seventy one and a half big no, okay.
- 3:06Speaker 2: And during COVID I started to think and look back
- 3:11Speaker 2: all the videos that I've done, and I'm saying, you know,
- 3:15Speaker 2: nobody's really seeing what I've done online. And I've been
- 3:20Speaker 2: nominated for four local Emmys. It's not that my work
- 3:25Speaker 2: is insignificant. Listen, there's a lot of people like me
- 3:27Speaker 2: in the world. There's a lot. But I'm saying, people
- 3:32Speaker 2: aren't noticing me out there. What am I doing that's wrong?
- 3:37Speaker 2: And this is what goes back to your question, be seen,
- 3:41Speaker 2: be heard, be remembered. And the day that our governor
- 3:46Speaker 2: declared Massachusetts a state of emergency, I said, this is
- 3:51Speaker 2: going to be a great opportunity to learn to learn
- 3:57Speaker 2: about media, and I dived in. I spent thousands of
- 4:06Speaker 2: hours over a two year period.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Every single day.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Some mornings, I wake up at four am and I
- 4:14Speaker 2: would get online with people from the UK because they
- 4:17Speaker 2: were six five six hours depending on the time zone ahead,
- 4:22Speaker 2: and I every day learning. It didn't matter for it
- 4:25Speaker 2: was a Saturday, didn't matter if it was a Sunday.
- 4:28Speaker 2: There was no time to like kick back and sleep.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I said, this is an opportunity. Yes, and so I
- 4:37Speaker 2: just I embraced it. A lot of people say, WHOA,
- 4:40Speaker 2: what are we going to do? It's like embrace this time.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely embrace it.
- 4:45Speaker 3: And so I did.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And I started figuring out and it was slow. I
- 4:52Speaker 2: had to really wrap my head around it. I love
- 4:54Speaker 2: when people say, oh, you know, AI is going to
- 4:56Speaker 2: do this all for me. It doesn't work like that.
- 5:01Speaker 2: So I just started going into learning mode and this
- 5:04Speaker 2: is what I am doing now. Yes, I am creating
- 5:08Speaker 2: the videos. Yes, and I do everything from the beginning
- 5:12Speaker 2: to the end. And I mean everything. I dot every
- 5:15Speaker 2: I cross every t make sure there are no unanswered questions,
- 5:19Speaker 2: from lighting to filming, to the clothes you should wear,
- 5:23Speaker 2: how clothes affect the coloring on your skin. Everything. I
- 5:29Speaker 2: make sure I cover everything. But you can have the
- 5:31Speaker 2: best video in the world, David, but if you don't
- 5:36Speaker 2: have the right information attached to the video, it's like
- 5:39Speaker 2: a drop of water in the ocean. You can get noticed.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So I'm applying the John Peatree principle ad value add value.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So what I'm doing with the ad value is I'm
- 5:55Speaker 2: adding the marketing and the advertising to what I do
- 6:00Speaker 2: at a fraction of the costs making sure the right
- 6:04Speaker 2: information is attached to the video. This is a lot
- 6:09Speaker 2: of work.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely love it.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I love it.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh and and and that's what drew me to you, Jojo,
- 6:15Speaker 1: because you love it, you care, you poured in and
- 6:18Speaker 1: that's why I love having guests like you on the
- 6:19Speaker 1: on this podcast, because you know, there's a lot of
- 6:22Speaker 1: noise out there, and I want to bring people to
- 6:23Speaker 1: the world, Like you just said, get this story out
- 6:26Speaker 1: there about how you care, why you care. And I
- 6:29Speaker 1: love your journey and I love to you know, share
- 6:31Speaker 1: a little bit of back your background. You shared a
- 6:33Speaker 1: little bit of it here, but you know you have
- 6:35Speaker 1: a background when we first met, I know your background
- 6:38Speaker 1: with Berkeley music and being a performer and where you
- 6:41Speaker 1: started with you know, video photography, all of that talk.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Take us and now you're an amazing super connector and
- 6:49Speaker 1: amazing storyteller. But take us a little back because I
- 6:52Speaker 1: always like to have our listeners, you know, say, Okay,
- 6:55Speaker 1: who's this Jojo? What what what got her excited? And
- 6:58Speaker 1: you know, and just to because a little bit further
- 7:00Speaker 1: back to I think it's so fascinating Jojo.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Sure, Okay, So I'm the youngest of four siblings, and
- 7:08Speaker 2: I'm very close with my sister who's a little older
- 7:11Speaker 2: than me, and then my two older brothers, very very
- 7:14Speaker 2: very close. While I'm talking to you, my brother is
- 7:17Speaker 2: texting me. I have a fantastic family. And you know,
- 7:21Speaker 2: with any family, you have to we earn love and
- 7:26Speaker 2: respect daily. You have to like nurture what you have.
- 7:30Speaker 2: And I'm very grateful for my family. My oldest brother
- 7:35Speaker 2: was going to train to be he was in learning
- 7:39Speaker 2: to be a priest, and my father through a camera
- 7:45Speaker 2: to my other older brother and said, I want you
- 7:48Speaker 2: to document everything about your brother's journey to be a priest.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:52Speaker 2: So my brother Sal was taking beautiful pictures. He's like
- 7:57Speaker 2: still a phenomenal photographer. We're going back now. I was like,
- 8:02Speaker 2: I don't know, about ten years old, nine years old
- 8:06Speaker 2: around that time, and everything my brother Sal did, I
- 8:12Speaker 2: wanted to do because he was the person that I copied,
- 8:16Speaker 2: looked up and I had to learn photography and I
- 8:22Speaker 2: was like the youngest of four, very I was very
- 8:25Speaker 2: competitive then, I'm very competitive now.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And I asked the.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I got involved with the Teen Center relatively early. I
- 8:35Speaker 2: don't even think I should have been there. I was
- 8:37Speaker 2: like a kid. But I asked the person who was
- 8:39Speaker 2: running the teen center, I'm now eleven, and I said
- 8:43Speaker 2: I need to learn photography. And he said, well, he said,
- 8:49Speaker 2: my roommate is I don't know what they call a
- 8:53Speaker 2: person that's attending college, but.
- 8:55Speaker 3: They're also teaching.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Okay, this is what.
- 8:57Speaker 3: This was at MIT.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I know that MIT is a big school. It's like
- 9:04Speaker 2: MIT and Harvard, but I don't understand about tuition going
- 9:10Speaker 2: to college would involved. All I know is I want
- 9:12Speaker 2: to learn photography. And I knew that there was.
- 9:15Speaker 3: A class there.
- 9:16Speaker 2: And so this guy running in the teen center, he said,
- 9:19Speaker 2: my roommate is teaching a class. He says, you could
- 9:23Speaker 2: check it out, but he says, I don't think you're
- 9:25Speaker 2: going to get in because you're eleven years old, right.
- 9:30Speaker 2: So I take my bike there with my friend Petie,
- 9:33Speaker 2: who I'm still friends with. We knock on the door.
- 9:36Speaker 2: There was around there was Jeremy opened the door and
- 9:39Speaker 2: there was around eight students and I said, Jeremy, we
- 9:44Speaker 2: heard there was a photography class and we want to
- 9:47Speaker 2: take it. And Jeremy looked at us and he said,
- 9:50Speaker 2: you can't take this class. Your kids you're not an
- 9:54Speaker 2: MIT student. You didn't pay for tuition to come here.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And I looked at him, I said, do you think
- 9:59Speaker 2: we rode our bikes? He had two miles to hear
- 10:02Speaker 2: you say no, I don't think, so he caved.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Well, we ended up in this photography class.
- 10:10Speaker 2: We ended up buying our own Then was SLR camera
- 10:16Speaker 2: single lens reflex. Now it's DSLR digital lens, single reflex.
- 10:23Speaker 3: And you know, I had my own money.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I saved, took the class, got an a, convinced my
- 10:29Speaker 2: parents that I should build a dock room in the basement.
- 10:33Speaker 2: They had no idea that involved these chemicals. I mean,
- 10:37Speaker 2: we were just taking up bikes everywhere and just like learning, learning, learning,
- 10:41Speaker 2: and I'm still learning. I love learning. And it started there.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And then another funny story is I don't know if
- 10:51Speaker 2: you remember the recorders. Then they used to have like
- 10:55Speaker 2: tapes like little Real to And I got one of
- 10:58Speaker 2: those recorders and my parents would have an argument about
- 11:01Speaker 2: toilet paper. It was so it was so funny and ridiculous,
- 11:07Speaker 2: and I hit around the corner and recorded them arguing.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And then after they finished arguing, I went into the
- 11:16Speaker 2: kitchen and I put it into play and they heard
- 11:19Speaker 2: their voices and they laughed. They thought it was the
- 11:23Speaker 2: greatest and I said, wow, people like to be when
- 11:27Speaker 2: you take the pictures. They liked the sound of their voice.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Video is the next transition. So of course, when I
- 11:36Speaker 2: started in video, I mean I was awful. I mean
- 11:39Speaker 2: I was a kid, yeah, you know, and so it
- 11:43Speaker 2: eventually evolved. It morphed and I went to Berkeley College
- 11:49Speaker 2: of Music and when I took the audition, I flunked.
- 11:54Speaker 2: I was awful. I couldn't even play the piano. And
- 11:57Speaker 2: the guy's name, his name was Paul Schmellin. He said,
- 12:00Speaker 2: you're awful and I said I know. I said I can't.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I'm so nervous. And he said, but this is your
- 12:06Speaker 2: lucky day to We're going to admit you into Berkeley
- 12:10Speaker 2: College of Music. And I said, why I flunked the
- 12:12Speaker 2: audition and he said, we have a shortage of women.
- 12:17Speaker 2: When I went to Berkeley in nineteen seventy six, there
- 12:20Speaker 2: was only seventy seven women, oh wow, and over twenty
- 12:23Speaker 2: seven hundred men. I basically went to an all male college.
- 12:26Speaker 2: And thank god I lived at home with my parents,
- 12:31Speaker 2: because you know, back in the day, men they were
- 12:35Speaker 2: into the drugs, the.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Rock and roll, and I had to be a lady.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I had to be a lady because if I wasn't,
- 12:43Speaker 2: it would have been the It would have been like
- 12:45Speaker 2: the runaway Train.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Yes, so I built.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Three recording studios. I started off with a one inch
- 12:57Speaker 2: tape and tapes back then for thirty minutes. For a
- 13:03Speaker 2: one inch tape, they ended up costing up to like
- 13:05Speaker 2: two and fifty dollars for thirty minutes. Can you imagine.
- 13:12Speaker 2: And when people complain today about spending pennies to do videos,
- 13:16Speaker 2: they have no idea what it was like back in
- 13:19Speaker 2: the day. I mean, you just paid through the nose
- 13:23Speaker 2: for everything.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Ye.
- 13:25Speaker 2: And then I had a two inch. I eventually got
- 13:29Speaker 2: an Oari two inch and I bought it from the
- 13:34Speaker 2: the gentleman who was the producer for the uh not
- 13:40Speaker 2: the Backstreet Boys. There was a there was a group
- 13:44Speaker 2: from New England. I can't think of their names. Oh
- 13:47Speaker 2: my god, Yes, new Kids, thank you, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 13:53Speaker 2: New Kids on the Block. I got the recorder that
- 13:56Speaker 2: they used. It was phenomenal. Yeah wow, so thank you
- 14:00Speaker 2: New Kids on the Block. Yeah, it was back then.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I can remember remember them.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's just been a great journey.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So I love it.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Yeah, as a matter of fact, he'll let me show you.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Please please, I don't know if you can see okay.
- 14:17Speaker 3: With me back.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I made it on MTV for I went by the
- 14:23Speaker 2: name Joanne Victoria, that's my real name, and I made
- 14:27Speaker 2: it on MTV for Basement Tapes and this is this
- 14:31Speaker 2: is another And I.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Can tell you stories all day, so you got to
- 14:34Speaker 3: tell me when to stop.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I love it. You're a great story dollar, absolutely, But
- 14:39Speaker 1: you know, we.
- 14:41Speaker 2: For Basement Tapes, my competition was people on the West coast.
- 14:46Speaker 2: I'm on the East coast of the United States, and
- 14:50Speaker 2: Basement Tapes was airing at eleven pm at night for
- 14:55Speaker 2: this competition. And I had a business on Boston's waterfront
- 15:00Speaker 2: for thirty five years. I sold souvenirs, t shirts, that
- 15:06Speaker 2: sort of thing. That's another whole story. But I approached
- 15:10Speaker 2: everybody that I could to ask them to watch me
- 15:13Speaker 2: on Basement Tapes and vote for me. And this is
- 15:16Speaker 2: eleven o'clock at night, and a lot of people don't
- 15:18Speaker 2: stay up late.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Yeah, right, And I.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Only had eighteen hundred people in my contacts. You know
- 15:25Speaker 2: how we used to have the address books when we
- 15:27Speaker 2: were write down the names.
- 15:29Speaker 1: That's a lot.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I only had eighteen hundred people. I had to send
- 15:32Speaker 2: postconds out to get read everybodys And I said to
- 15:36Speaker 2: my mother, I feel like a failure. I only know
- 15:39Speaker 2: eighteen hundred people.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, I was.
- 15:42Speaker 2: This was nineteen eighty six, so I was thirty two
- 15:45Speaker 2: years old, and my mother, No, was I thirty two?
- 15:51Speaker 2: Let me see nineteen eighty six? No, yeah, thirty two.
- 15:54Speaker 2: And my mother said to me, most people don't even
- 15:58Speaker 2: have one hundred and fifty one hundred people.
- 16:00Speaker 1: And then I know, I know, I'm like dang.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So I made a vow at that point that I
- 16:07Speaker 2: would start every single person that I met. I would
- 16:11Speaker 2: get their name, their phone number, they were dressed, we
- 16:15Speaker 2: didn't have emails back then, and I would take down
- 16:18Speaker 2: their information room. Right now I have. I'm just shy
- 16:23Speaker 2: of a few people. Fifteen thousand people in my contact
- 16:26Speaker 2: on my phone. These are people that I know. So
- 16:29Speaker 2: this is what nineteen eighty six has brought me to. Okay,
- 16:32Speaker 2: this is on my phone. This isn't people on LinkedIn,
- 16:35Speaker 2: which most people don't even know people on LinkedIn. They
- 16:38Speaker 2: say they do but they don't you know, like, oh,
- 16:42Speaker 2: I have first connections, so you really know them all?
- 16:44Speaker 1: Probably probably not right.
- 16:47Speaker 3: People in my phone.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I know. Okay, so I'm shy, like of about five
- 16:54Speaker 2: people fifteen thousand people. I know, it's crazy. And so
- 16:58Speaker 2: I made a vow. And this is important because what
- 17:01Speaker 2: I do with my business, like when I met you,
- 17:05Speaker 2: is making connections.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Every single cool I do.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I make five to ten connections and I do ten
- 17:11Speaker 2: to twelve zooms every single weekday. I take the weekends
- 17:14Speaker 2: off because you can't do this all.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you need a time arrest too.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Absolutely, I absolutely do anyway.
- 17:22Speaker 1: No, and I'll attest to that, Jojo. And I think
- 17:25Speaker 1: as a fellow connector, I aspire to be more like
- 17:28Speaker 1: you a good way. But I think but being intentional,
- 17:32Speaker 1: you're absolutely one hundred percent intentional in building the relationships.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And I think that's what I appreciate you and everybody
- 17:38Speaker 1: on this business round Table podcasts. It's about building relationships
- 17:41Speaker 1: before we go jump into business or pote this, that
- 17:44Speaker 1: and the other thing. It's like, how do you do that?
- 17:46Speaker 1: And again you get to understand the other person. You're curious,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you're listening. I think you know and as you asked
- 17:55Speaker 1: me questions and you do that and you're like, Okay,
- 17:57Speaker 1: well I know a good person that would be a
- 17:58Speaker 1: great connection based on what you're telling me, and you
- 18:01Speaker 1: made it even a personal introduction. And I'm like I said,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I aspired to do the same thing. If we're as
- 18:06Speaker 1: we are business owners or leaders doing this, we're gonna
- 18:08Speaker 1: have greater influence in our world. Instead of getting all frustrated,
- 18:11Speaker 1: why why are people listening to me? You are finding me.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It's both biggest because how did you treat them? How
- 18:16Speaker 1: did you how did you you see them? How did
- 18:18Speaker 1: you draw the best out of them? That's why I
- 18:21Speaker 1: hear you Jojo saying, is that you're you're you poured
- 18:26Speaker 1: into yourself all those years, and that your story of
- 18:29Speaker 1: your your journey as just from going back in the tapes.
- 18:33Speaker 1: You and I have kind of a parallel version because
- 18:36Speaker 1: I used to run a DJ company as well in music,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and so I understand some of these things that we've
- 18:41Speaker 1: you know, you poured in so much and and so
- 18:45Speaker 1: when people come to meet you, it's that value. And
- 18:49Speaker 1: I think it's an interesting time now more than ever, Jojo,
- 18:52Speaker 1: your thoughts on this, but I think people are looking
- 18:55Speaker 1: at with with technology and changing of that, like what
- 18:59Speaker 1: is the value? What's the exchange? And I think I
- 19:03Speaker 1: might say to me, and it's an exciting time because
- 19:06Speaker 1: if you can craft great value, people are like, oh
- 19:09Speaker 1: my goodness, all all whatever, it's not so much transactional,
- 19:14Speaker 1: like you're this many hours and then I get this.
- 19:16Speaker 1: It's like what's the outcome and the value bring? And
- 19:19Speaker 1: then I'm like, oh, it makes total sense why I
- 19:21Speaker 1: would want to, you know, work with you.
- 19:25Speaker 3: What So what is the question exactly?
- 19:27Speaker 1: So the question is, well, I guess I'm gonna clarify.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So you're creating the value. So I want to take
- 19:33Speaker 1: it back a little bit of how you're You're not
- 19:38Speaker 1: just creating like videos, but you're What I say is
- 19:41Speaker 1: like you're getting clear. You're helping bring people so that
- 19:45Speaker 1: they can get that explain that value, get clear about
- 19:49Speaker 1: what do they bring.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Sure you know it is very important in all our lives,
- 19:56Speaker 2: no matter who we meet, that we servant leaders. Why
- 20:02Speaker 2: does that make a difference. Well, I want you to
- 20:06Speaker 2: think of your life. You're standing in a field and
- 20:12Speaker 2: you throw a boomerang into mid air. The boomerang will
- 20:18Speaker 2: come back to you. It is the law of life.
- 20:23Speaker 2: This is not my law, but this is the law
- 20:24Speaker 2: of life. Whatever you put out into the world, with
- 20:29Speaker 2: every single person that you interact with, every single human,
- 20:33Speaker 2: even trees, animals, how you treat everything around you, The
- 20:41Speaker 2: energy that you pour out comes back if you are disrespectful.
- 20:50Speaker 2: And I'll use this. People think of the automobiles as
- 20:53Speaker 2: an inanimate object if you don't respect the vehicle that
- 21:00Speaker 2: you're driving. In the vehicle and people will say, well,
- 21:05Speaker 2: a cos don't have energy.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Everything has energy.
- 21:09Speaker 2: You know. We'll look at a mountain or a piece
- 21:12Speaker 2: of land and we'll say, well, that's not moving. But
- 21:14Speaker 2: if you look at that same t piece of topography
- 21:18Speaker 2: hundreds of years later, it has moved or shifted. Everything
- 21:25Speaker 2: moves and has energy, even if it seems like it's dormant.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, what does this have to do with add value?
- 21:38Speaker 2: I perceive every single person as someone that I should
- 21:43Speaker 2: be serving.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I want to serve the world. I am here for you.
- 21:50Speaker 3: I am here for you.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And so some people say, why do you make all
- 21:53Speaker 2: these connections? That's insane? And I said, and I say
- 21:58Speaker 2: why not?
- 22:00Speaker 3: People? I hear people are.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Starving in the world. They need connections because people need
- 22:09Speaker 2: to eat and they need to live. I am a
- 22:13Speaker 2: money magnet. What I mean by that is that I
- 22:20Speaker 2: just have to think about something that I need and
- 22:24Speaker 2: it just comes to me. And the reason is is
- 22:27Speaker 2: because I'm constantly pouring out. I don't ask a lot
- 22:31Speaker 2: in this world. My needs not that great. I live
- 22:35Speaker 2: a simple I really live a simple life. I'm not
- 22:39Speaker 2: you know, I'm not really what I call extravagance. I'm
- 22:44Speaker 2: not one of these people. I'm just not. So I
- 22:47Speaker 2: don't have a lot that I need, but I find
- 22:49Speaker 2: it more exciting to give.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Than to receive.
- 22:54Speaker 2: But once in a while, I will ask the universe
- 22:57Speaker 2: for something, Oh I really need this, and boom, it
- 23:00Speaker 2: just happens, which is why I call myself a money magnet.
- 23:04Speaker 2: So people say, oh, I'm not getting this and I'm
- 23:06Speaker 2: not getting that. And the reason why people are not
- 23:10Speaker 2: getting what they want is because they're not pouring out.
- 23:14Speaker 3: They're just taking.
- 23:16Speaker 2: In order to get, you have to give, and it's
- 23:21Speaker 2: better to give a little bit more. And I'm not.
- 23:24Speaker 3: And by the way, a person that gives can also
- 23:26Speaker 3: throw themselves out of balance.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Absolutely, So there is the there is the perfect uh.
- 23:34Speaker 3: You have to find a balance Like there are people
- 23:36Speaker 3: that say.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Oh, I want you to run a networking group, and
- 23:39Speaker 2: I say, I don't want to do that. The answer
- 23:41Speaker 2: is no, I know how to say no, and the
- 23:44Speaker 2: rea I don't want to do Why would I want
- 23:46Speaker 2: to do that? And I say to everybody, if I
- 23:50Speaker 2: do that, I'm not going to be able to make
- 23:52Speaker 2: the introductions that I make.
- 23:54Speaker 3: That's what I tell everybody.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Would you rather me be making all the introductions or
- 23:58Speaker 2: do you want me to lead a network group?
- 24:02Speaker 3: That's it.
- 24:03Speaker 2: So anybody that wants to stand out in your business,
- 24:10Speaker 2: do something that makes you stand out.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Now.
- 24:13Speaker 3: For me, as I told you, I do the distribution
- 24:18Speaker 3: of the videos.
- 24:19Speaker 2: It's huge. There's one hundred and forty one different ways
- 24:24Speaker 2: to distribute your video. Some people boldly ask me, can
- 24:30Speaker 2: I have your list? And I went, now, I'm not
- 24:32Speaker 2: going to give you my list. If I work with you, you'll
- 24:35Speaker 2: see the list, But I'm not just gonna that. It's
- 24:39Speaker 2: taken time to put together. And even if you ask
- 24:43Speaker 2: Ai for this list, AI.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Doesn't even know.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And I meet people in ad agencies, they'll say, oh,
- 24:49Speaker 2: I never even thought about that.
- 24:51Speaker 3: There is some things you have to come up with.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Your creative imagination, how to use a video, and I
- 25:01Speaker 2: keep exploring new ways. That is my ad value. And
- 25:06Speaker 2: making the connections, that's another ad value. Oh when I
- 25:10Speaker 2: do free headshots, when I do your video, not just isolated.
- 25:15Speaker 2: When I did the video, I did the free headshot.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Why not You're already you already have the right lighting,
- 25:21Speaker 2: you have the right clothes, you got the right makeup,
- 25:23Speaker 2: and not if you're a guy.
- 25:24Speaker 3: But you know, well some guys do we makeup?
- 25:27Speaker 2: They do, but they do.
- 25:28Speaker 3: We have makeup on you know, in the movie. So yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 3: But anyway, I don't know if I answered your question.
- 25:34Speaker 1: But you did. I mean what I heard you say, Jojo,
- 25:40Speaker 1: is that you know, well, I would clear there's energy
- 25:43Speaker 1: out there. I one hundred percent agree. And are we
- 25:46Speaker 1: coming from a place of kind of abundance and giving
- 25:50Speaker 1: or we coming from a place of a deficit. And I,
- 25:54Speaker 1: you know, I find that I'll put this as a
- 25:56Speaker 1: I've been married for twenty almost twenty one years, but
- 25:59Speaker 1: I remember, and I've talked with enough women. Particularly if
- 26:03Speaker 1: you're coming from a deficit and a guy is desperate
- 26:05Speaker 1: versus a place of giving, you can almost feel the energy.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I'm sure you get as a woman like, you're not
- 26:10Speaker 1: coming in a giving the capacity, You're coming in a
- 26:12Speaker 1: taking capacity, right, and you don't have to say words.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You can actually feel the energy. Right.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Here's yeah, here's the other. May I interject?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Please please?
- 26:25Speaker 2: A lot of people will come on these zoom calls
- 26:28Speaker 2: and they're very transactional, and nobody wants to be around
- 26:34Speaker 2: a transactional person. They and and and I'll give you
- 26:38Speaker 2: I'll give you an example of transactional. And I use this, uh,
- 26:44Speaker 2: this example when I share with people how to approach LinkedIn.
- 26:49Speaker 3: So this is a true story. I get a call.
- 26:52Speaker 2: From I get a call and I say hello, and
- 26:57Speaker 2: the person says to me, this is exactly how the
- 27:00Speaker 2: conversation went.
- 27:02Speaker 3: They don't say.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Hello, They say, can you put flowers on my mother's grave?
- 27:09Speaker 2: And I said, who is this? And they said it's
- 27:12Speaker 2: your cousin. And I said, which cousin? Because between my first, second,
- 27:19Speaker 2: and third cousins, there's over four hundred of.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Us, Oh my gosh.
- 27:22Speaker 3: And they tell me their name.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Now I go back and I think, oh, I remember
- 27:29Speaker 2: this cousin. When I was a child, my mother was
- 27:32Speaker 2: taking care of three sisters and one of them stole
- 27:36Speaker 2: something out of one of my draws in my bureau.
- 27:41Speaker 2: They stole something and we found out it was them.
- 27:45Speaker 2: They fessed up afterwards. This was the cousin that stole
- 27:49Speaker 2: something from me, which I hadn't hadn't seen this cousin in.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I don't know. I was a kid, she was a kid,
- 27:57Speaker 2: so maybe I was seven years old.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Goodness.
- 28:01Speaker 2: And so she tells me her name and I said,
- 28:04Speaker 2: I haven't seen you in forever. And I said, why
- 28:07Speaker 2: don't you ask your brother? I don't want to ask him.
- 28:12Speaker 2: So there was no warmth. There was no like, hi, Hawaii,
- 28:18Speaker 2: you know, how have you been?
- 28:23Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 28:25Speaker 3: Can you do me a favor?
- 28:27Speaker 2: I really I'm really asking you, you know, being very kind.
- 28:32Speaker 2: There was none of that. It was very cold and calculating.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Why do I bring that up? What does this have
- 28:38Speaker 2: to do with just saying? And business people are very
- 28:43Speaker 2: cold and calculating. They do this on LinkedIn. They pounce
- 28:47Speaker 2: on you. It's rude people. You have to warm people up.
- 28:55Speaker 2: You just can't just like bom pounce on them. Nobody
- 28:59Speaker 2: likes that.
- 29:00Speaker 1: No, No, it's awful. Mm hmmm hmm.
- 29:03Speaker 3: It's cold.
- 29:05Speaker 1: It is cold. Nobody likes to be Nobody likes to
- 29:07Speaker 1: be sold you know, they don't want to be sold to.
- 29:11Speaker 1: They don't want to be like I get it all, yeah, Jojo,
- 29:13Speaker 1: I get it a day in and day out. Uh.
- 29:16Speaker 1: And I've had a couple of the folks on the
- 29:18Speaker 1: podcast previously, they've taught in the in the sales de side,
- 29:21Speaker 1: trying to break that because there are like these these
- 29:23Speaker 1: really bad habits out there. Do they work sometimes? Yes,
- 29:28Speaker 1: they'd work sometimes, but most of the time, to your point, Jojo,
- 29:32Speaker 1: they don't. And I think you're doing yourself more harm
- 29:35Speaker 1: than good, whether it's on business, whether it's personal, whether
- 29:38Speaker 1: it's with your your team. You know, if you're just
- 29:41Speaker 1: hitting them hard and going into that mode, you know,
- 29:45Speaker 1: you're you're putting everybody on the defensive. It's not it's
- 29:48Speaker 1: like you said, it's not a good feeling. It's not
- 29:49Speaker 1: a cold feeling. It's about I like to say, build
- 29:52Speaker 1: relationship before opportunity. You know, you and I build a relationship,
- 29:56Speaker 1: and then you say, oh, hey, I've got a couple
- 29:58Speaker 1: of different opportunities. As we've talked, you've got to know me,
- 30:01Speaker 1: and you're like this might be a benefit of you.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Maybe maybe not, because you and I are being curious,
- 30:06Speaker 1: we're listening, we're asking questions, understand where people are at.
- 30:10Speaker 1: And I want people to as are listening to the podcast, Jojo,
- 30:12Speaker 1: because you've done this in your career. You've been successful
- 30:14Speaker 1: and you've reinvented yourself and through many different ways, and
- 30:18Speaker 1: you can continue to do that successfully, and so I
- 30:22Speaker 1: want other people to hear it's like, this isn't a
- 30:24Speaker 1: one and done, it's this is ongoing and you continue
- 30:28Speaker 1: to build your network and connections with people that want
- 30:31Speaker 1: to be with you. Because I will say the people
- 30:33Speaker 1: that I've talked to Jojo, that you've personally introduced me
- 30:36Speaker 1: to amazing people, and they also say the warmth and
- 30:40Speaker 1: the care and the way that you've connected with them,
- 30:42Speaker 1: and so it's like, oh wow, it means a lot.
- 30:45Speaker 1: It carries a lot of weight when you're introducing them
- 30:50Speaker 1: to me and vice versa. And I feel that that's
- 30:53Speaker 1: an honor and a privilege to build that relationship. And
- 30:56Speaker 1: that's what I hear from you of you approach relationships
- 30:59Speaker 1: as a a gift. That sounds like to me, Jojo,
- 31:03Speaker 1: it is a gift.
- 31:04Speaker 2: But you know, here's the fascinating thing. Every person that
- 31:09Speaker 2: I meet. It's like I'm picking up I'm picking up
- 31:13Speaker 2: a book for the first time, and it's a new novel.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Every single person, no matter who they.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Are, should be treated with dignity and respect, even if
- 31:27Speaker 2: they're even if they were a little out there. I
- 31:29Speaker 2: will tell you a situation that was a little odd.
- 31:33Speaker 2: I meet this gentleman, and you know, he was all
- 31:36Speaker 2: doom and gloom, and he was from Florida, and he
- 31:40Speaker 2: was like everything was like just like doc and awful.
- 31:44Speaker 2: And I said to him, listen, what's up front with them?
- 31:49Speaker 2: And I was like pleasant about it. I said listen.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I said, I don't ever want to talk to you again.
- 31:55Speaker 2: He says no. I says no.
- 31:57Speaker 3: I said, you are so depressed.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I can't even help you because you're such a buzzkill.
- 32:06Speaker 2: I said I want you, He says, am I really,
- 32:08Speaker 2: I said yes.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I said I.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Want you to go and look in the mirror and
- 32:13Speaker 2: talk to yourself the way you're talking to me, and
- 32:17Speaker 2: ask yourself, would you want to listen to you talking
- 32:21Speaker 2: to you? Probably not. I said you gotta shift, said
- 32:26Speaker 2: you gotta shift the gears because no one's going to
- 32:28Speaker 2: want to do business with you. I said, now, I
- 32:32Speaker 2: would be willing to talk to you if you change
- 32:35Speaker 2: the channel.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I said, you got to.
- 32:37Speaker 3: And I'm not saying that you have to be.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Like all positive and up meeting, but I said, everything
- 32:42Speaker 2: is doc dismal, gloomy. I said, you're on the opposite
- 32:47Speaker 2: side of the spectrum. I said, people don't want to
- 32:50Speaker 2: be around that. So when I meet people, and by
- 32:55Speaker 2: the way, ninety nine percent of most people just they're wonderful.
- 33:02Speaker 2: This was the exception to the rule. I never told
- 33:05Speaker 2: a person not to contact me again. I told this guy,
- 33:09Speaker 2: I said, don't contact me, and and he started to
- 33:12Speaker 2: love because am I that bad?
- 33:13Speaker 3: I said, you're worse, and so I know that I had.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know if he could have gotten any
- 33:20Speaker 2: more depressed than when I told him. I don't think so,
- 33:24Speaker 2: because I wasn't mean about it.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I was kind of like, change the channel, dude.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Yeah, like come on, like snap.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Have you ever seen that that that scene in Moonstruck
- 33:35Speaker 2: where Cher hits what's the guy's name?
- 33:37Speaker 3: Nick?
- 33:38Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 2: And there was a baker and he a flower in
- 33:43Speaker 2: his face and she slapped him on the face and
- 33:45Speaker 2: she says.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Snap out of it.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, That's what I wanted to do to that guy.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I wanted to We need that, Jojo. I mean, honestly,
- 33:53Speaker 1: some people. I want to ask you a follow up
- 33:55Speaker 1: question to that, because for me, so in like you said,
- 34:02Speaker 1: to change the channel. Because we all face at points
- 34:06Speaker 1: obviously disappointment, we face the depression. There's things that are
- 34:10Speaker 1: chronic and there's things that are temporary. But in your life, Jojo,
- 34:16Speaker 1: what have you what is your daily or weekly practice
- 34:20Speaker 1: so that you stay in that that state not of
- 34:23Speaker 1: being overly positive, I mean you are over You're positive
- 34:26Speaker 1: in a great way. We're not trying to be Pollyanna,
- 34:28Speaker 1: if you will, but just being true, authentic, being filled
- 34:32Speaker 1: up Jojo, so that you can, then, like you said,
- 34:35Speaker 1: be in a place of giving, because if we're in a deficit,
- 34:37Speaker 1: like he's in a deficit, there's no way it's gonna
- 34:39Speaker 1: be repelling. But he needs to get filled up. He
- 34:41Speaker 1: needs to turn the channel. But what does that look
- 34:43Speaker 1: like for you, Jojo? In your daily way of living,
- 34:46Speaker 1: your seventy one and a half years that have gotten
- 34:49Speaker 1: you this place. Because I see that you're a vibrant
- 34:52Speaker 1: seventy one year old. I've seen people that are half
- 34:54Speaker 1: your age that are not nearly as vibrant Jojo.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I have lived a life of.
- 35:03Speaker 2: If I told you some of the things that have happened,
- 35:05Speaker 2: you would say, are you kidding me? Life has not
- 35:09Speaker 2: been smooth. So I'm going to go back and I'm
- 35:14Speaker 2: going to share another story. I used to be that
- 35:17Speaker 2: person that used to be critical, condemning, criticizing, you know,
- 35:23Speaker 2: always complaining. Nobody wants to listen to the person criticizing, condemning,
- 35:28Speaker 2: and complaining. Nobody wants to be around that person. Nobody
- 35:31Speaker 2: wants to be around a person that gossips. Okay, I
- 35:36Speaker 2: was all those things, and I woke up one morning
- 35:47Speaker 2: and I just said, I have to change who I am.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I mean, I had some bad habits. I did some.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I mean I never when I say, you know, I
- 35:58Speaker 2: ended up the first night in the Norfolk County jail, not.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Because I did anything bad.
- 36:05Speaker 2: It was it was a fundraiser before the jail opened,
- 36:08Speaker 2: and it was very interesting because I said, every single
- 36:13Speaker 2: kid in high school should spend a night. They should
- 36:16Speaker 2: have a jail just for kids to stay overnight to
- 36:20Speaker 2: know what it's like. Because I got to tell you
- 36:22Speaker 2: I was. I was treated like a criminal. They said,
- 36:25Speaker 2: you're going to be treated like it was a fundraiser.
- 36:27Speaker 2: You're going to be treated like a criminal. You're gonna
- 36:30Speaker 2: get well, you know the fingerprints, the photograph.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they did it.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Oh it was bad.
- 36:38Speaker 2: And they came into my cell and I said, you
- 36:41Speaker 2: know those guys, I call them the ninja turtles where
- 36:43Speaker 2: they come in and they walk march around the prisons
- 36:46Speaker 2: and they like, rip apot yourself. I wanted them to
- 36:49Speaker 2: do that in my cell and they said you want this?
- 36:52Speaker 2: I went, yeah, I want to see it. Wow, be
- 36:54Speaker 2: careful what you asked for. Okay, I mean, I'm not
- 36:58Speaker 2: a criminal now, but I'm just going to tell you
- 37:00Speaker 2: that experience that I experienced something that just like it
- 37:04Speaker 2: shook me.
- 37:05Speaker 3: It shook the insides.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Of me, and I went, WHOA but living? And to
- 37:12Speaker 2: answer your question, I've lived some very dark moments and
- 37:16Speaker 2: I made a conscious choice that I that I needed
- 37:22Speaker 2: to shift gears. What I do every day I don't
- 37:29Speaker 2: share this, but you're asking me, so I'm sharing. Every day.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I will sing the word hugh hu. It is the
- 37:41Speaker 2: ancient word for God. It is not a religion. It
- 37:46Speaker 2: is I guess it's it's like a mantra. There are
- 37:50Speaker 2: many different words. It neutralizes, stabilizes, and homonizes any and
- 37:56Speaker 2: all situations. As a matter of fact, I will show
- 37:59Speaker 2: you on my phone. I have the Hue app.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You see it ain't you?
- 38:08Speaker 2: And you hear about ten thousand people going Hugh and
- 38:16Speaker 2: I do this. It neutralizes, stabilizes, and homonizes any in
- 38:21Speaker 2: all situations during and I hope I'm giving you the
- 38:26Speaker 2: right facts, but during Pope Gregory's time in the Bible,
- 38:30Speaker 2: and I'm not a big Bible reader, but in the
- 38:32Speaker 2: Bible it said in the beginning. It still says in
- 38:37Speaker 2: the beginning, there there was the word, or there is
- 38:40Speaker 2: the word, and it used to say that what there
- 38:44Speaker 2: is the word h They took that out. We are
- 38:49Speaker 2: all Hugh Man's we are all God Man.
- 38:56Speaker 3: We all have a spot of God inside of us.
- 38:59Speaker 2: So we're all well humans humans you yeah, okay?
- 39:04Speaker 3: And I do this for twenty minutes every day.
- 39:07Speaker 2: It neutralizes, stabilizes, and homonizes any and all situations. And
- 39:13Speaker 2: if I could physically show you what it's doing inside
- 39:18Speaker 2: of me, it is aligning all my chakras, It's aligning
- 39:24Speaker 2: all the cells and everything inside of me, all to
- 39:27Speaker 2: be synced together. I am a welled oil machine within
- 39:34Speaker 2: because the only way I can shine outwardly is if
- 39:38Speaker 2: I have all my stuff going on. I am right within.
- 39:44Speaker 2: It starts within. Now. I'm not saying that you need
- 39:47Speaker 2: to be religious because religion. You know, religion is a
- 39:51Speaker 2: funny word because a lot of people fight over religion. Yes,
- 39:54Speaker 2: so I'm not professing a religion. Let me be very
- 39:58Speaker 2: clear about that. I think everybody needs the balance of
- 40:03Speaker 2: the mind, the body.
- 40:06Speaker 3: And the soul.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yes, and when you are balanced with all three, the
- 40:10Speaker 2: way you eat, the way you integrate and talk to people,
- 40:15Speaker 2: the way you show up, the way you line up
- 40:18Speaker 2: your life is like smooth peanut butter without the nuts.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And we need and there's enough stuff in the world
- 40:28Speaker 2: to throw people off their axes. I don't listen to
- 40:31Speaker 2: the news. I do not listen to the news because
- 40:35Speaker 2: it throws me off my axis. I am not around
- 40:40Speaker 2: people that do drugs. I don't drink alcohol anymore. I
- 40:45Speaker 2: can't because it gives me ajata that's like acid reflex.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I just can't drink alcohol. I just said I don't
- 40:52Speaker 2: need this anymore.
- 40:53Speaker 3: It's not like I ever had an alcohol problem.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I just don't like it anymore. It's good to move.
- 41:01Speaker 2: I should move more. I'm guilty of that. I should
- 41:04Speaker 2: move more. But I am healthy, I am strong, I
- 41:10Speaker 2: am vibrant. When you have your health, you're an instant millionaire.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Right out of the gate.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Yes, it is good to associate with people that keep
- 41:23Speaker 2: you balanced, whoever they are. If you are around you're
- 41:29Speaker 2: asking me about what I do. I try to avoid
- 41:34Speaker 2: people that are a vexation to my spirits, that throw
- 41:39Speaker 2: me out of You know, if I'm around somebody, or
- 41:43Speaker 2: I'm in a situation where it doesn't line up with me,
- 41:47Speaker 2: no matter what it is, I just walk away because
- 41:51Speaker 2: I don't have time. I'm on the last leg of
- 41:54Speaker 2: my life. I'm in the last quarter of my life,
- 41:58Speaker 2: so I want to make a count. Not that I
- 41:59Speaker 2: do and make it count before, but I'm more aware
- 42:04Speaker 2: that every moment counts.
- 42:07Speaker 3: I don't live in a big house.
- 42:09Speaker 2: I only have eight hundred square feet, and so if
- 42:14Speaker 2: I have a dinner party, I can only.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Hold up to six people. So what I do.
- 42:18Speaker 2: With my family is I take them out because it's
- 42:22Speaker 2: great and we just like we we love on each other,
- 42:26Speaker 2: We love each other, We don't. There's no time to fight,
- 42:31Speaker 2: There's only time to love.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I love it. Yes, yes, we need more of that, Jojo.
- 42:37Speaker 2: And this is what it's about, because if you've turned
- 42:40Speaker 2: on the news, I mean, don't get me wrong.
- 42:43Speaker 3: I listen to two Apple podcasts.
- 42:45Speaker 2: This morning, and I do read the news, but I
- 42:50Speaker 2: don't listen to it because when I listen to it,
- 42:52Speaker 2: there's just so much drama. Like I want to say,
- 42:56Speaker 2: get to the point.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yeah, no, this has been fantastic, Jojo. I
- 43:03Speaker 1: know we're getting the end of the podcast. I wanted
- 43:05Speaker 1: people to listen to that because I think everybody has
- 43:08Speaker 1: their journey of, like you said, to be fulfilled, to
- 43:12Speaker 1: be in alignment. I think that's so important and to
- 43:15Speaker 1: value that. What I also hear you say, Jojo, is
- 43:17Speaker 1: that you've come to value who you are uniquely. You're
- 43:20Speaker 1: leaning into that, You're being a gift, You're being a
- 43:22Speaker 1: blessing to others, shining a light. Begetting it from the
- 43:26Speaker 1: inside out first is really important because if you're trying
- 43:29Speaker 1: to do it from the outside and of my experience,
- 43:30Speaker 1: it's just never going to be enough. You have to
- 43:32Speaker 1: do it from the inside out. Do that work. It's
- 43:35Speaker 1: totally worth it, and you're seeing the fruits here in
- 43:38Speaker 1: your life. Jojo, I'm this you know, similar things of
- 43:42Speaker 1: you know, looking at you know, moving daily, sharing, gratitude
- 43:46Speaker 1: and appreciation for others. You know, for me as a Christian,
- 43:50Speaker 1: spending time in the word meditation or or at least
- 43:54Speaker 1: resetting myself so that I'm in a place of receiving
- 43:57Speaker 1: love and I believe in God's love ensuring that outwardly
- 44:01Speaker 1: to the world to be a light. And so to me,
- 44:06Speaker 1: we're you like you said, you're in that last quarter
- 44:08Speaker 1: of your life. You know, I'm here in fifty two.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I'm looking you know, we never know when when we're
- 44:11Speaker 1: going to be checking out of this physical life. But
- 44:14Speaker 1: to make the most of what we have and to
- 44:16Speaker 1: leave people better off than when we found them. I
- 44:18Speaker 1: think the shared philosophy, Jojo, and I love having you
- 44:22Speaker 1: on the pod cast. I hope everybody, you guys go
- 44:25Speaker 1: check out her jojoh Lucy on the She's got an
- 44:29Speaker 1: amazing just content out there all over the place. Uh.
- 44:33Speaker 1: And you know, you're such a great you know, I'm
- 44:36Speaker 1: sure if people want to reach out and connect with
- 44:38Speaker 1: you and meet you with you and you know, she
- 44:40Speaker 1: is just amazing and she's going to get you connected
- 44:41Speaker 1: with so many other amazing people out there. Jojo, I
- 44:45Speaker 1: want to say thank you for being on the podcast.
- 44:46Speaker 1: It's it's been really blessing to have you here.

- 44:58Speaker 2: am honored and I feel less to be here with
- 45:01Speaker 2: you today. I appreciate you and keep doing the great
- 45:05Speaker 2: work that you're doing to be in a light in
- 45:07Speaker 2: the world, and you know, just keep being you, being you,
- 45:13Speaker 2: you you.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I love it. Thank you, Jojo. Thanks for sharing so
- 45:19Speaker 1: much with our our audience. Of course, we love everybody
