  Today, I want to talk to you about something we all experience at some point

  in our life, when God changes our direction.

  You ever notice how we spend so much time planning our lives?

  We plan our careers. We plan our schedules.

  We plan where we want to be in five years.
• 1:17
  But sometimes, life takes a turn. It takes a turn that we didn't expect.

  Maybe a job didn't work out. Maybe a door closed that you thought was meant for you.

  Maybe something in your life shifted in a way that left you wondering, why did this happen?

  Here's a verse, Proverbs 16, verse 9. And it says, in their hearts,

  humans plan their course.
• 1:43
  But the Lord establishes their steps.

  That verse reminds me that even though we make plans, God ultimately guides the path.

  Sometimes what feels like a setback is actually God redirecting us.

  Think about it. There are moments in our life when we look back and realize

  that something we once thought was disappointment actually led us somewhere
• 2:09
  better, a different opportunity, a new relationship, a deeper purpose.

  God sees the bigger picture that we can't always see in the moment.

  And sometimes he changes our direction not to punish us, but to protect us. Or to prepare us.

  Or to position us for something we weren't expecting.

  So, if today you're feeling like life didn't go the way you planned, take a deep breath.

  Trust that God is still guiding your steps. because sometimes the road you didn't

  plan becomes the path that changes everything.

  And that's something worth thinking about today.
