- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm Martin and you are listening to Dad's bedtime Stories.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Tonight we're headed back into the Spaceship universe. And you
- 0:19Speaker 1: know what, everyone, I get a lot of ideas for
- 0:23Speaker 1: this podcast, and I love them. I love getting every
- 0:26Speaker 1: single one and I listen to every single one. But
- 0:30Speaker 1: I can't make every single one, and I'm really sorry
- 0:33Speaker 1: about that. It doesn't mean I don't want you to
- 0:36Speaker 1: send them in. But tonight I thought I would get
- 0:40Speaker 1: as many of them as I could and put them
- 0:42Speaker 1: all in one episode. First of all, I found this
- 0:46Speaker 1: idea that I thought we could use as sort of
- 0:49Speaker 1: the main thing to go around here.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Let's check it out.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Hi.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I'm Harvey from Ontario, Canada. I have an idea for
- 1:01Speaker 3: the Spaceship series where you land on a planet where
- 1:07Speaker 3: there's a bunch of different types of pictures. Each picture
- 1:13Speaker 3: is unique and has a different function. Some pictures are moving,
- 1:20Speaker 3: some pictures create moments in the past, some even in
- 1:25Speaker 3: the future.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Bye.
- 1:27Speaker 5: I love your.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Podcast, Harvey. That is a great idea.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And when I was going through it and thinking what
- 1:34Speaker 1: pictures will we go into and visit, I decided to
- 1:38Speaker 1: go back through my voicemail and find some other ideas
- 1:41Speaker 1: that I hadn't done yet, and kind of go into
- 1:44Speaker 1: those pictures. So let's check a few of those out
- 1:46Speaker 1: as well.
- 1:47Speaker 6: My Hi, my name is Rowan, and I mean four
- 1:54Speaker 6: and a dog and frog and they made a cause
- 2:01Speaker 6: on a candy planet, and a candy meal destroyed the house,
- 2:08Speaker 6: and then they have get out.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Bye.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Love your podcast, Thanks, Ronan. I love your suggestion.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I don't actually know what you said, destroyed the house
- 2:17Speaker 1: like a candy meal. You're gonna have to let me know,
- 2:20Speaker 1: but I'm gonna make it a candy meal that destroys
- 2:23Speaker 1: the house in this one. Let's check out our next idea.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Hi, my name is Allan.
- 2:29Speaker 6: I am nine years old, and I would like to
- 2:31Speaker 6: suggest a chess planet.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 2:34Speaker 7: I love your broadcast.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Goodbye, great idea, Allan.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I am going to change it to h Chess picture
- 2:42Speaker 1: on a picture planet, but I love the suggestion and
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think we could fit in like one last one here,
- 2:49Speaker 1: let's check it out.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Hi. Mine is Elliott, and I want to make a
- 2:54Speaker 5: suggestion for your platypus plan. It you see this big, big,
- 2:59Speaker 5: humongous platypus that's metal so you're going to ask a
- 3:04Speaker 5: platypus as a suit what's going on, But before you
- 3:08Speaker 5: can ask him anything, he goes on side of a billion,
- 3:12Speaker 5: so you follow him because you have no idea what's
- 3:14Speaker 5: going on.
- 3:15Speaker 7: By love your.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Podcast, and once again I love your suggestion. These are
- 3:22Speaker 1: all really amazing ideas here. I'm going to try to
- 3:25Speaker 1: fit them all in on the Picture Planet. But before
- 3:29Speaker 1: we get started, I do have a couple big thank
- 3:31Speaker 1: yous to give. First up, thank you to Tobin Parker
- 3:36Speaker 1: and Chris for supporting the podcast. That means a lot, guys.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I really appreciate you going on Patreon and doing that.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And second, thank you too, Julie Scott and Kurt from California.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I really appreciate you guys supporting the podcast too.
- 3:54Speaker 2: It really goes a long way.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And if you haven't heard, I did start another podcas
- 4:00Speaker 1: Cast called Dad's Anytime Stories kind of story podcast you
- 4:04Speaker 1: can listen to in the car or at kind of
- 4:06Speaker 1: any other time of the day, so if you're interested
- 4:09Speaker 1: in checking that out. Our first season is Cards of Power,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Volume one, based on my novel. It's basically the audiobook
- 4:17Speaker 1: version of the novel, which you can buy on Amazon.
- 4:20Speaker 1: But now it's that time again. Time to get as
- 4:26Speaker 1: comfy as you can in that bed, close your eyes
- 4:29Speaker 1: and imagine yourself doing what the kid in the story does.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Imagine yourself waking up a board spaceship. You swing your
- 4:42Speaker 1: legs over the side of the bed, stand up, and
- 4:46Speaker 1: stretch your arms up in the air. You head out
- 4:50Speaker 1: on to the main part of the ship and say,
- 4:53Speaker 1: good morning the spaceship. Eh, good morning, spaceship, Good morning,
- 4:59Speaker 1: spaceship lives. I believe I have found something extremely interesting.
- 5:06Speaker 1: A new planet that is full of pictures. I mean,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I guess that's cool. A picture planet. Is there something
- 5:16Speaker 1: weird about it?
- 5:17Speaker 5: Like?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Are the pictures living with arms and legs or running
- 5:22Speaker 1: a picture society or something like that. You ask, no, However,
- 5:28Speaker 1: I am detecting spatial anomalies around each picture. It seems
- 5:34Speaker 1: that each one is a sort of portal. I knew
- 5:39Speaker 1: there was a twist to this. You say, set a course, spaceship,
- 5:44Speaker 1: let's go to the picture planet. And so spaceship sets
- 5:49Speaker 1: a course, veering slightly downe and to the left. In
- 5:55Speaker 1: a flash, you stop high above a beautiful earth life
- 6:00Speaker 1: like planet, and you begin to navigate down towards the surface.
- 6:06Speaker 1: You sit down in the command chair and grab a
- 6:10Speaker 1: hold of the main joystick. You press forward on the
- 6:14Speaker 1: throttle and forward on the joystick, causing the ship to
- 6:18Speaker 1: push downwards through the atmosphere, through the clouds, before pulling
- 6:24Speaker 1: it up slightly and flying over well forests and mountains
- 6:32Speaker 1: and prairies, all full of pictures. You catch the odd
- 6:40Speaker 1: person here and there painting new pictures. But more than anything,
- 6:45Speaker 1: there's just pictures everywhere. Some of them are floating in
- 6:49Speaker 1: the air, some of them are placed on the ground,
- 6:52Speaker 1: some of them are drawn right into mountain sides and cliffs.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Pictures than you.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Could possibly count, so many that you actually have a
- 7:05Speaker 1: little bit of trouble finding somewhere to land. But you
- 7:09Speaker 1: soon see a clearing right by some guy in a
- 7:14Speaker 1: painting jacket who looks like he's painting away at a
- 7:17Speaker 1: new picture. You carefully land the spaceship on the ground.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It makes a little bit of a hissing sound as
- 7:25Speaker 1: the hydraulics drop. The back door opens up, and you
- 7:31Speaker 1: immediately smell fresh paint. The person, a young man who
- 7:39Speaker 1: was doing some of the painting, leaves his work and
- 7:42Speaker 1: walks over to you. Hi there looks like you're from
- 7:48Speaker 1: another planet or something. Yeah, I am What is this place,
- 7:56Speaker 1: you ask? This is the picture planet. My name's Harvey.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm one of the painters here. You see, every painter
- 8:07Speaker 1: here takes the artist's imagination and makes it real in
- 8:13Speaker 1: the form of a picture. A picture you can step into. Oh,
- 8:19Speaker 1: he can step into the pictures? You respond, well, any
- 8:26Speaker 1: cool ones you can show me? Well, I do have
- 8:30Speaker 1: a couple of my own. Follow me. Harvey waves for
- 8:36Speaker 1: you to follow after him and leads you over to
- 8:39Speaker 1: a small series of different pictures. One of them looks
- 8:44Speaker 1: incredibly futuristic, in the other looks like an old timey
- 8:49Speaker 1: village back on Earth. I call this one future, and
- 8:55Speaker 1: I call this one past.
- 8:58Speaker 2: A very creative type.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You respond, yeah, well, come on, let's step in. Harvey
- 9:07Speaker 1: grabs your arm and pulls you towards the futuristic looking picture.
- 9:12Speaker 1: As you approach it, it's as if the frame expands
- 9:17Speaker 1: and then continues to expand, wrapping all the way around you.
- 9:25Speaker 1: When you find yourself inside a futuristic world, a world
- 9:32Speaker 1: of giant, glowing towers, floating roads, silver bridges, and streaks
- 9:40Speaker 1: of light in the sky. There's flying cars, and robots
- 9:45Speaker 1: floating everywhere, and sitting right in front of you is
- 9:50Speaker 1: a flying car, or at least it looks a lot
- 9:54Speaker 1: like a flying car. Want to take a ride, Harvey says, I,
- 10:00Speaker 1: sure do, You respond, jumping into the driver's seat of
- 10:06Speaker 1: the flying car. The controls seem pretty intuitive. There's a
- 10:10Speaker 1: joystick just like in spaceship, and a throttle on the right.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You pull back on the joystick, press forward on the throttle,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and before you know it, you zoom straight up into
- 10:24Speaker 1: the sky. You pull quickly to the left to avoid
- 10:28Speaker 1: another vehicle before leveling the car out. When you eventually
- 10:33Speaker 1: steady the thing and get the hang of the controls,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you decide to go a little bit faster. You push
- 10:41Speaker 1: forward all the way on the throttle, and the car
- 10:45Speaker 1: blasts forward. You weave between shiny towers, moving left and right,
- 10:52Speaker 1: careful not to run straight into one of them. Next,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you dip under a floating train track with a hover
- 11:00Speaker 1: train going over top of it. You zoom over glowing parks.
- 11:05Speaker 1: You pass robots and the Holograms and gigantic sky bus,
- 11:12Speaker 1: and soon you come to a tunnel of light. You
- 11:16Speaker 1: dip inside the tunnel, trying to keep the car directly
- 11:20Speaker 1: in the middle. As the tunnel moves up and down,
- 11:24Speaker 1: left and right, side to side, it feels like you're
- 11:29Speaker 1: zipping through a portal. Before long, you pop out the
- 11:34Speaker 1: other side, turn left sharply to miss a building, and
- 11:40Speaker 1: find yourself back in the same area you start it in.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You pull back on the joystick and the throttle at
- 11:49Speaker 1: the same time, stopping the car and slowly allowing it
- 11:54Speaker 1: to hover down to the ground in front of a
- 11:57Speaker 1: large black frame that has the picture of the picture
- 12:03Speaker 1: Planet on it. That was good driving, Harvey says, Let's
- 12:11Speaker 1: maybe check out something else. Once again. You step into
- 12:16Speaker 1: the picture frame, this time the one of the picture Planet.
- 12:20Speaker 1: The frame grows around you, stretches behind you until well
- 12:27Speaker 1: you find yourself back on the main part of the
- 12:30Speaker 1: picture Planet. Well, I want to check out the past
- 12:34Speaker 1: one next. After that flying car ride you gave me,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I kind of need a bit of a slower pace.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Harvey leads you.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Into the small old fashioned painting, and again the painting
- 12:48Speaker 1: grows around you until you find yourself inside it. You're
- 12:55Speaker 1: in a small, old fashioned town with narrow streets, little
- 13:01Speaker 1: cottages with tiny windows lanterns ready to light things at night.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And cobblestone on the ground. It looks really plain compared
- 13:12Speaker 1: to the futuristic one. This is one of my favorites.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It's the simplicity of it all, Harvey explains, check this out.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Two horses start to trot over towards you. They turn sideways,
- 13:28Speaker 1: inviting you to get on. You put one foot in
- 13:33Speaker 1: the stir up, lift your body over top of the horse,
- 13:37Speaker 1: and Harvey gives his a little kick. Moving ahead, you
- 13:42Speaker 1: follow behind him. You pass cottages with smoking chimneys, through
- 13:49Speaker 1: a village square with a giant well in the center.
- 13:53Speaker 1: You pass by a blacksmiths shop with the clinking sound
- 13:58Speaker 1: of metal as the blacks mith hammers away on it.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You pass a baker setting out warm bread on the
- 14:06Speaker 1: side of the window to let a cool You move
- 14:10Speaker 1: along a lane lined with flowers and old stone fences.
- 14:16Speaker 1: The whole thing is very, very peaceful. You watch as
- 14:21Speaker 1: a tiny cat runs in front of the horse, as
- 14:25Speaker 1: children play with a hoop and a stick, a game
- 14:29Speaker 1: you can't imagine would ever entertain anyone, but seems to
- 14:34Speaker 1: be entertaining the children very well. The whole place feels
- 14:39Speaker 1: slow and gentle, as if you don't have a care
- 14:44Speaker 1: in the world, much different from the whole futuristic thing. Ah,
- 14:51Speaker 1: that's kind of it, Harvey says, as he climbs off
- 14:54Speaker 1: his horse in front of a picture of the picture
- 14:58Speaker 1: planet once again. Oh, you say, stopping yours and climbing off,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I want to see what else there is to check out?
- 15:08Speaker 2: He asks.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Of course I do, Harvey, of course I do. Together,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you step back through the picture frame, which once again
- 15:18Speaker 1: expands larger and larger wraps around you and transports you
- 15:24Speaker 1: back to the picture planet. Well, there's all kinds of
- 15:29Speaker 1: pictures here, I say. You just walk through them and
- 15:32Speaker 1: pick one that looks fun. They're all made by different people.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You soon come to a picture that looks very strange.
- 15:44Speaker 1: A frog and a dog standing note in front of
- 15:47Speaker 1: a candy house, set between candy trees and candy bushes,
- 15:53Speaker 1: and well, grass that looks like it's made of jelly beans.
- 15:59Speaker 2: This looks cool.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Well, ah, yeah, this one is made by Arnold, he explains.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I want to go check it out, do I? Ever,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you say, you step inside the picture. The frame once
- 16:16Speaker 1: again stretches around you until you find yourself in a
- 16:21Speaker 1: cozy little forest beside a dog and a frog standing
- 16:27Speaker 1: in front of a candy house. The house looks like
- 16:31Speaker 1: it's made of a mix of candy bricks with gummy
- 16:36Speaker 1: candy windows. The roof is made of chocolate tiles. It
- 16:41Speaker 1: has frosting around the edges to look like snow, but
- 16:45Speaker 1: nothing about it is cold at all. From the bushes
- 16:49Speaker 1: hang marshmallows and candy of all different kinds. A little
- 16:56Speaker 1: stepping stone walkway made of giant cookies leads you to
- 17:00Speaker 1: the door. Welcome, the frog says, welcome to my house.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Me and my friend dog made this house. He explains
- 17:14Speaker 1: what you like to take a bite? Sure you move
- 17:21Speaker 1: over towards the house. You break off a brick of candy,
- 17:26Speaker 1: place it in your mouth, and realize that it is
- 17:31Speaker 1: absolutely delicious. Harvey grabs a chunk as well. It's good,
- 17:38Speaker 1: isn't it, The frog says, Eat as much as you like,
- 17:43Speaker 1: but try not to eat too much from one place
- 17:48Speaker 1: or it will collapse. Unfortunately, in the time it takes
- 17:52Speaker 1: you to listen to the frog, you've already taken out
- 17:56Speaker 1: several more bricks, leaving a giant hole in the side
- 18:00Speaker 1: of the wall. Harvey pulls another brick out, moves it
- 18:05Speaker 1: up to his mouth, and takes a bite when you
- 18:09Speaker 1: hear the house begin to creak. Oh, dear not again,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I knew candy was not the thing to make houses from.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Oh.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Slowly, the roof above the little end in the wall
- 18:27Speaker 1: begins to collapse, bending down towards the floor before breaking
- 18:34Speaker 1: and splitting apart. The rest of the house falls piece
- 18:39Speaker 1: by piece. Afterwards, the chocolate roof caves in, followed by
- 18:45Speaker 1: the walls, leaving behind a pile of chocolate and candy.
- 18:54Speaker 1: We well have to rebuild. Come back, waiter, perhaps, the frog,
- 19:01Speaker 1: says man. He and the dog walk over to the
- 19:05Speaker 1: candy house and begin putting it together again.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You, on the other.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Hand, let out a big burp and head back through
- 19:15Speaker 1: the picture frame to the picture planet. You continue to
- 19:20Speaker 1: explore all of the different pictures. Some are really odd
- 19:24Speaker 1: and others are well just plain boring. Eventually you come
- 19:30Speaker 1: to one that looks like it's a giant chess board,
- 19:34Speaker 1: only the chess pieces are doing battle, like literal battle.
- 19:42Speaker 2: What's up with this one? You ask?
- 19:45Speaker 1: This one was painted by my friend alan Ah. He
- 19:50Speaker 1: might not be able to tell, but he really likes chess.
- 19:54Speaker 1: You step inside the painting, the chess world wraps around you,
- 19:59Speaker 1: until you you find yourself standing on a gigantic chess
- 20:03Speaker 1: board surrounded by living chess pieces, living chess pieces in
- 20:09Speaker 1: the middle of a battle. Pawns run at each other
- 20:15Speaker 1: carrying spears and shields. Knights run at strange ninety degree
- 20:22Speaker 1: angles left and right until they clash with each other.
- 20:27Speaker 1: And on the far side of the board you see
- 20:30Speaker 1: a gigantic white king and queen yelling at all of
- 20:35Speaker 1: the pieces about what to do them, get them, We
- 20:40Speaker 1: must not let them win. The king from the other
- 20:43Speaker 1: side yells, are you going to help us? Or are
- 20:48Speaker 1: you just going to stand there? One of the pawns
- 20:52Speaker 1: yells towards you. At the same time, two gigantic castle
- 20:58Speaker 1: pieces with arms legs run at each other and smash together,
- 21:04Speaker 1: each one trying to push the other out of the way.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You dodge around the ponds, around the knights, moving to
- 21:12Speaker 1: the far side of the board, where the black king
- 21:15Speaker 1: and queen should be. Only something's wrong with the king.
- 21:22Speaker 1: The queen lays down beside him, weeping. No, no, you
- 21:29Speaker 1: can't go where in the middle of a battle?
- 21:33Speaker 2: What will we ever do?
- 21:36Speaker 3: Uh?
- 21:37Speaker 2: You guys? Okay?
- 21:39Speaker 7: You ask?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Do I look?
- 21:41Speaker 7: Okay?
- 21:42Speaker 2: The king has he has he has fallen.
- 21:49Speaker 1: The queen explains, Ah, so you lose the match.
- 21:56Speaker 2: No, we will not give up this easily. We must
- 22:00Speaker 2: find someone else, someone to wear the crown.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that's not how chess works.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Will you do it?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Will you wear the crown, she says, lifting the crown
- 22:17Speaker 1: up in the air towards you. I mean, I guess so,
- 22:21Speaker 1: But again, I'm pretty sure you can't just put a
- 22:24Speaker 1: new crown on somebody else and continue a chess game.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You duck your head down, the crown wraps around it,
- 22:33Speaker 1: and you feel a strange tingling sensation as your body
- 22:38Speaker 1: stretches upward. You suddenly feel the uncontrollable urge to yell orders.
- 22:48Speaker 1: You see patterns on the board, ways that the ponds
- 22:52Speaker 1: can move, places the knights and rooks should go, and
- 22:57Speaker 1: you begin to yell them out, pointing and ordering all
- 23:02Speaker 1: of the pieces to move in specific ways, ways that
- 23:07Speaker 1: you know will win the match. Your side charges forward,
- 23:13Speaker 1: knocking the others out of the way.
- 23:16Speaker 2: You take out the other.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Side's pawns, their knights, their rooks, their bishops, until only their.
- 23:24Speaker 7: King and queen remain.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Ay, I give in, the other king says, before stiffening
- 23:36Speaker 1: and falling over on his side. The black pieces all
- 23:41Speaker 1: begin to cheer. They lift you up above their heads
- 23:46Speaker 1: and run you around in circles, placing you down right
- 23:50Speaker 1: beside the picture frame. Realizing how weird this whole experience
- 23:57Speaker 1: had been, you pull the crown off of your head,
- 24:02Speaker 1: causing your body to slowly shrink back down to your
- 24:06Speaker 1: normal human form. Then you step through the painting. Once again,
- 24:13Speaker 1: the frame wraps around you, transporting you back to the
- 24:20Speaker 1: well normal picture world. Well how did you like it,
- 24:25Speaker 1: Harvy asks, as you continue to walk through the fields
- 24:29Speaker 1: of pictures. Ah, it was pretty cool. And then you
- 24:36Speaker 1: see something spectacular, a picture of a metallic platypus wearing
- 24:44Speaker 1: a suit and standing in front of an office building.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You don't even wait to ask Harvey what's going on
- 24:52Speaker 1: in this picture? You simply run forward and jump inside something.
- 25:00Speaker 1: The platypus looks suspiciously important, as if he knows a
- 25:05Speaker 1: secret that you would.
- 25:06Speaker 7: Want to know.
- 25:08Speaker 1: As soon as you step into the painting, the platypus
- 25:12Speaker 1: sees you and hurries off in the other direction, running
- 25:17Speaker 1: to a large building, whereout explaining anything, you run after him,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and he tries to run faster. Inside the building is
- 25:29Speaker 1: a strange mix of well office building, fancy hotel, museum,
- 25:36Speaker 1: and some sort of secret headquarters. You run through long,
- 25:41Speaker 1: shiny hallways as the platypus tries to get away from you.
- 25:46Speaker 1: He squeezes through some swinging doors on the other side.
- 25:50Speaker 1: You follow as quickly as you can. He races up
- 25:53Speaker 1: staircases and you race after him. He jumps in an elevator.
- 26:00Speaker 1: You run to get inside before the door's closed, but
- 26:03Speaker 1: you're slightly too late and it leaves without you. Luckily,
- 26:08Speaker 1: another elevator is next door. You jump inside it, press
- 26:13Speaker 1: a button that says up, and begin to move. Boring
- 26:19Speaker 1: music plays as the thing slowly goes higher and higher
- 26:25Speaker 1: until you hear a ding.
- 26:27Speaker 2: The door opens up.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You run outside to see the platypus running down the hall.
- 26:33Speaker 1: You run after him. As he turns the corner. He
- 26:37Speaker 1: knocks over a cart full of mail to try to
- 26:40Speaker 1: slow you down, but you easily hop over it.
- 26:44Speaker 2: He turns to the right.
- 26:46Speaker 1: And runs inside one of the office offices. You run
- 26:53Speaker 1: after him, turn the doorknob, burst inside to find the
- 26:57Speaker 1: platypus looking exhausted. Ah, you finally caught up with me.
- 27:07Speaker 2: He says, why are you running?
- 27:12Speaker 1: You ask, I'm running because because you have to see this.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He walks over to the side of the building where
- 27:25Speaker 1: you see a little circle cut away in the wall. Ah,
- 27:30Speaker 1: what's that, you ask? This is the most epic slide
- 27:37Speaker 1: you've ever seen in your life.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Follow me.
- 27:42Speaker 1: The platypus jumps inside the slide and begins heading downward.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You look out the window to see a gigantic plastic
- 27:52Speaker 1: slide shooting out of the building, winding down around you
- 27:56Speaker 1: below and leading to the bottom, right near where you
- 28:01Speaker 1: came in in the first place. You shrug your shoulders
- 28:05Speaker 1: and decide to jump inside. You soon find yourself flying downward.
- 28:11Speaker 1: The slide twists left and right, it loops around in circles,
- 28:17Speaker 1: and at one point it even flips upside down, which
- 28:22Speaker 1: makes your stomach jump for a second, until you fly
- 28:28Speaker 1: out the other side, straight through the picture, and find
- 28:33Speaker 1: yourself laying on the ground on the picture planet. Once again,
- 28:40Speaker 1: that was weird, you say, Yeah, that platypus always up
- 28:48Speaker 1: to weird stuff. Anyway, I was thinking, since you're here,
- 28:55Speaker 1: maybe you want to paint your own picture. He hands
- 28:59Speaker 1: you a paint brush and a series of paints on
- 29:03Speaker 1: a little tray. Come on, there's some blank canvases over here.
- 29:10Speaker 1: You walk up to a large blank picture. You can
- 29:15Speaker 1: paint anything you want. All you have to do is
- 29:18Speaker 1: focus on it, and well it'll truly come to life.
- 29:25Speaker 1: You're feeling rather tired, and for some reason, all you
- 29:30Speaker 1: can think to draw is something very relaxing looking. You
- 29:37Speaker 1: paint a nighttime background with a little moon wearing sunglasses
- 29:43Speaker 1: for some reason, eye above it. Then you start to
- 29:48Speaker 1: create little fluffy clouds, very comfortable looking fluffy clouds. Then
- 29:57Speaker 1: you add some music notes for a hint of you know,
- 30:01Speaker 1: that relaxation you're looking for. Then you step back to
- 30:07Speaker 1: stare at the picture. Ah, very relaxing looking. Well, are
- 30:14Speaker 1: you gonna try it out?
- 30:16Speaker 2: He asks?
- 30:19Speaker 1: I guess so, you say, stepping into the picture frame
- 30:25Speaker 1: once again. The frame lifts and wraps around your body
- 30:31Speaker 1: until you find yourself standing in your picture, standing on
- 30:36Speaker 1: a cloud, surrounded by night sky. A fluffy little cloud
- 30:42Speaker 1: moves up behind you and slowly scoops you into a
- 30:47Speaker 1: little cloud chair. The cloud chair slowly lifts up into
- 30:54Speaker 1: the air as gentle music plays. The moon looks down
- 31:02Speaker 1: at you, gives you a wink, and releases some kind
- 31:07Speaker 1: of star dust or something. As the dust passes over
- 31:13Speaker 1: your body, you get an overwhelming sense of sleepiness. The
- 31:21Speaker 1: cloud chair reclines backwards and forms itself into a perfect
- 31:28Speaker 1: little cloud bed. Cloud covers pull up over top of
- 31:35Speaker 1: your body.
- 31:37Speaker 7: And you close your eyes.
- 31:41Speaker 1: With each breath, you sink down deeper and deeper into
- 31:46Speaker 1: the little cloud bed, and you float higher and higher
- 31:52Speaker 1: into the air as your mind begins to wander off
- 31:57Speaker 1: to thoughts of a new dream, names, new pictures, and
- 32:04Speaker 1: new adventures to come.
- 32:07Speaker 7: Good night everyone, and.
