- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey everybody, this is the Almost Famous podcast. And this
- 0:08Speaker 2: is an episode that just warms my heart, makes me excited,
- 0:12Speaker 2: makes me happy. It's a weird episode because when Almost
- 0:16Speaker 2: Famous started, you had two people in their twenties calling
- 0:20Speaker 2: each other on the phone, recording a show talking about
- 0:24Speaker 2: the Bachelor Bachelor at Bachelor in Paradise, not knowing what
- 0:27Speaker 2: in the world life would bring, and through ups and downs.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Now we're here today to celebrate Ashley and Jared as
- 0:33Speaker 2: they welcome their second child into the world. Ashley, welcome back.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Thank you. I feel great, I feel refreshed. I feel
- 0:42Speaker 3: like I can talk to you and breathe, which is
- 0:45Speaker 3: really awesome.
- 0:46Speaker 2: How quickly, so some of these are going to be
- 0:49Speaker 2: very naive questions about.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I love naive questions though.
- 0:52Speaker 2: How quickly did you do you start to feel, what
- 0:56Speaker 2: would do what you would consider like normal or back
- 0:58Speaker 2: to self again?
- 1:00Speaker 3: Staneously? No, I know I'm not like, I'm probably not
- 1:04Speaker 3: the norm when I say that, just because I don't
- 1:06Speaker 3: like pregnancy, you know, like I don't like the physical
- 1:08Speaker 3: feeling of pregnancy. So as soon as the kid comes out,
- 1:11Speaker 3: like I feel physically so much relief. And this time,
- 1:17Speaker 3: especially with the second there's a lot less healing, and
- 1:23Speaker 3: I just like was up and at it. Like the
- 1:25Speaker 3: next day.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You kind of mentioned before that you had been told
- 1:30Speaker 2: that the second time around was going to be so
- 1:32Speaker 2: much easier giving birth. You know, typically not everybody has
- 1:36Speaker 2: that experience. I understand that, but for the expectation from
- 1:39Speaker 2: the doctors was the second time around giving birth was
- 1:41Speaker 2: going to be so much easier than the first. Did
- 1:43Speaker 2: that end up being true?
- 1:44Speaker 3: It was so easy. I actually feel almost guilty talking
- 1:48Speaker 3: about it. Like Jared was like, let's just kind of
- 1:51Speaker 3: keep the ease of this private, okay.
- 1:54Speaker 2: It was like, I mean, but we got to celebrate,
- 1:57Speaker 2: you know, not again, not everybody has that story, but
- 1:59Speaker 2: we got to celebrate people's successes. And that's a succes.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I mean, that's a big thing that we want to say. Hey,
- 2:03Speaker 2: I'm happy for you that that was your experience.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Everyone deserves what I went through with this delivery. It
- 2:10Speaker 3: was awesome. I thought that Dawson's delivery was relatively you know,
- 2:14Speaker 3: I wouldn't call it easy, but it wasn't like traumatic
- 2:16Speaker 3: at all. Like I went into like the delivery month
- 2:20Speaker 3: with Hayden being like, oh, I'm not really scared of delivering,
- 2:26Speaker 3: because you know, with Dawson it was like eh, I
- 2:28Speaker 3: mean like I'm not looking forward to doing that again.
- 2:31Speaker 3: But it wasn't like awful, and this was just like, yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 3: I liked an induction with an epidural before I filled
- 2:40Speaker 3: into contractions, like truly, it didn't feel pain. It was
- 2:44Speaker 3: like despression was awesome.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Wow. Okay. So there's a couple of ways, because there's
- 2:49Speaker 2: so much to talk about. There's a couple of things
- 2:51Speaker 2: I think too, because I like to organize how I
- 2:54Speaker 2: want to go through this. Let's start with kind of
- 2:56Speaker 2: an open ended question for you and to tell our
- 2:59Speaker 2: audience and myself because I haven't heard any of this yet,
- 3:03Speaker 2: walk us through that day, that experience leading up to
- 3:06Speaker 2: the delivery of Hayden.
- 3:09Speaker 3: So I knew from I knew well. I had an
- 3:12Speaker 3: appointment to be induced at thirty nine weeks and that
- 3:17Speaker 3: was really it was like nothing medical. It's just that
- 3:19Speaker 3: like my OBI practice is kind of like if you
- 3:21Speaker 3: want to be induced at thirty nine weeks, we like
- 3:23Speaker 3: it because, like you know, it's a practice of a
- 3:27Speaker 3: number of doctors and they're like, we can be there
- 3:30Speaker 3: on the date. You know, your doctor can be there
- 3:32Speaker 3: on the date of your delivery. And like, I'm really
- 3:34Speaker 3: close to my midwife now and she's like the midwife
- 3:38Speaker 3: of the practice, and she's like, we can both be
- 3:41Speaker 3: there and it'll be just like kind of calm and
- 3:44Speaker 3: you know, just we'll give you an epidural before we
- 3:48Speaker 3: put potocin in and you'll barely really you don't really
- 3:52Speaker 3: have to feel the contractions. So I didn't even think
- 3:56Speaker 3: I was going to get to thirty nine weeks, like,
- 3:58Speaker 3: because Dawson was ten days early, and I just kind
- 3:59Speaker 3: of figure like, oh, if your first is ten days early,
- 4:02Speaker 3: you'll probably early be early for the second. But he
- 4:06Speaker 3: didn't come within a week of the due dates. So
- 4:10Speaker 3: we just kind of strolled into the hospital at their
- 4:13Speaker 3: early six am on Monday, two weeks ago from today's recording,
- 4:19Speaker 3: and that it was just like Jared was like it
- 4:24Speaker 3: was like a doctor's appointment, and then so he went
- 4:27Speaker 3: in at six am and then he was out at
- 4:30Speaker 3: two thirty.
- 4:31Speaker 2: And then you spent do you stay the night in
- 4:33Speaker 2: the hospital.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so you have to stay for twenty four hours
- 4:37Speaker 3: after the baby's born.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Okay, what was it like for the two of you.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I've always been told that the birth of a child
- 4:46Speaker 2: is unlike any emotional experience that you can have when
- 4:51Speaker 2: it comes to looking at your baby for the first time.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Was there anything different seeing your second child born than
- 4:58Speaker 2: your first? Were the feelings the same kind of walk
- 5:01Speaker 2: us through the emotional journey? Then once Hayden was delivered.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Well, Jared and I are both like on the same
- 5:06Speaker 3: page where it's like when the baby actually comes out,
- 5:08Speaker 3: we're like not like completely overwhelmed with emotion like some
- 5:12Speaker 3: people like his mom is like I saw heaven when
- 5:15Speaker 3: Jared came out, and Jared and I both like, yeah right,
- 5:21Speaker 3: Jared and I both feel like our love grows for
- 5:24Speaker 3: the child, like you know, well every single day actually,
- 5:28Speaker 3: but we in that moment, it's when you it's the
- 5:32Speaker 3: slimy kids pulled out, and it's I don't, I don't
- 5:36Speaker 3: have this overwhelming sense of love produce both of us
- 5:40Speaker 3: straightforward to that. But like once you have hours to
- 5:44Speaker 3: like hold the baby in your arms, that's when it
- 5:47Speaker 3: gets more emotional. And I feel like with the second
- 5:54Speaker 3: we were just more comfortable. I was more comfortable with everything,
- 5:58Speaker 3: Like when Dawson came out, it was like, oh my god,
- 6:00Speaker 3: this a human just came out of my body and like,
- 6:03Speaker 3: I what. And then with Hayden, it was more like
- 6:08Speaker 3: they pulled him out and they gave him to me,
- 6:11Speaker 3: and I just felt like so much more comfortable with
- 6:13Speaker 3: him in my arms, and I was like, I know
- 6:15Speaker 3: what to do with you.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yeah, You're like you're you're in it because you confident.
- 6:20Speaker 2: So yeah, it's you. Remember when you had Dawson. We
- 6:23Speaker 2: were doing the talk afterwards similar to this one, and
- 6:25Speaker 2: you said you don't remember life before Dawson, like, like
- 6:28Speaker 2: life before kind of is this blur now, like you
- 6:31Speaker 2: can remember it, but there's there's so much now new
- 6:35Speaker 2: in the world that, like Dawson has now feels like
- 6:38Speaker 2: it's been a part of your life. He's been a
- 6:39Speaker 2: part of your life forever. Is it the same feeling
- 6:41Speaker 2: with Hayden, Like, now you're two weeks in, does life
- 6:45Speaker 2: feel that much different?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Uh? Okay, So I think that I don't know how
- 6:51Speaker 3: life is going to feel once, Like we're away from
- 6:53Speaker 3: our village, so we're going back to Rhode Island and
- 6:55Speaker 3: it'll just be like the four of us for the
- 6:57Speaker 3: first time. This coming Friday. So I think we're a
- 7:01Speaker 3: little apprehensive about that because it's just gonna be like, wow,
- 7:04Speaker 3: like it's just the two of us and we have
- 7:07Speaker 3: two kids to you know, keep alive. But as like
- 7:11Speaker 3: to answer your what I mean, what I think you
- 7:13Speaker 3: mean by your question, Yeah, I think I have more
- 7:17Speaker 3: of like a memory of what it feels like to
- 7:18Speaker 3: not have hidden because you're like, oh, wow, we just
- 7:24Speaker 3: had to take care of one kid beforehand. That was
- 7:26Speaker 3: kind of easy.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Like what did we ever complain about it feel like
- 7:32Speaker 2: in comparison just having Dawson.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but also because like my body is back to
- 7:38Speaker 3: feeling itself, so like I can run around with him
- 7:41Speaker 3: like I can. I'm not supposed to really lift him,
- 7:43Speaker 3: but like you know, I'm living. I would be go
- 7:46Speaker 3: out with him and feel like capable of caring for
- 7:51Speaker 3: him totally. And now I'm like, oh, you know, it's
- 7:54Speaker 3: easy taking care of a two and a half year old.
- 7:58Speaker 3: So I think that's like the biggest difference is realizing
- 8:02Speaker 3: just like the the load that we now have.
- 8:05Speaker 2: But right now you do have a village around you,
- 8:06Speaker 2: so you have a lot of help. You have multiple
- 8:08Speaker 2: eyes and hands at all times, but has it been
- 8:12Speaker 2: more difficult, even in two weeks having two children.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Probably just because the sleep thing. I mean, he has
- 8:20Speaker 3: been waking up every two hours. Yesterday I got a
- 8:23Speaker 3: stretch of two and a half hours, and I woke
- 8:26Speaker 3: up and I was like, okay, yeah, so I could tell.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I could tell immediately it had been more than two hours.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Look at the clock. Two and a half hours? Big whoopee?
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah? How much? Like how long will this last?
- 8:41Speaker 3: How long will this sleep last? Who knows? Uh. That's
- 8:46Speaker 3: what's weird is that you kind of forget certain things
- 8:49Speaker 3: about the first time, even though it was two and
- 8:50Speaker 3: a half years ago. I feel like Hayden might be
- 8:54Speaker 3: a little fussier than Dawson was as a newborn. Dawson
- 8:58Speaker 3: was extremely fussy as a baby, you know, when we
- 9:01Speaker 3: got out of like the three month phase and then
- 9:03Speaker 3: on and I was like, this kid is so hard,
- 9:09Speaker 3: so they may swap. Who knows. He's just been hungrier
- 9:12Speaker 3: than Dawson. And all I remember is that Dawson like
- 9:18Speaker 3: slept three to four hour stretches pretty early on, I
- 9:22Speaker 3: want to say, like within the second probably like in
- 9:24Speaker 3: his third week. So your fingers crossed. I think there's
- 9:28Speaker 3: a big difference between getting three straight hours and two,
- 9:32Speaker 3: because two is like did I did I sleep? Yeah?
- 9:36Speaker 2: You like as soon as your eyes closed and you
- 9:38Speaker 2: like get in a rim sleep, then you're wide awake again.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 2: How did you come up with Hayden? Where did that
- 9:52Speaker 2: come from?
- 9:53Speaker 3: Okay, so it was a name on our list for
- 9:55Speaker 3: a while. I did an Instagram poll at like seven
- 9:58Speaker 3: months pregnant. It's like, guys, is it ridiculous if I do?
- 10:02Speaker 3: If we do Hayden Hayben because we both like Hayden
- 10:08Speaker 3: was like one of the few names that Jared and
- 10:10Speaker 3: I agreed on, and but then we put it with
- 10:13Speaker 3: the last name. We're like, is this so silly? And
- 10:17Speaker 3: then but it's kind of cool. It's either like such
- 10:20Speaker 3: a cool name or it's so silly. Oh you think
- 10:23Speaker 3: it's cool.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I think it's great. I think it's oh thank you. Yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So well, I've only I've known of it from like
- 10:31Speaker 3: kids in school and stuff, but Jared has only known
- 10:34Speaker 3: of it from Hayden Christensen. And we've always joked that
- 10:37Speaker 3: like Jared would name like we would name the kid Anakin,
- 10:39Speaker 3: because I think Anakin is kind of a cool name,
- 10:41Speaker 3: but like we would never actually do it, but it's
- 10:43Speaker 3: kind of cool at the same time. And uh so
- 10:46Speaker 3: when we were joking about Anakin, Jared was like, well,
- 10:49Speaker 3: Hayden Christiansen like Hayden, and I was like, well, I
- 10:52Speaker 3: do like Hayden, So it's not after Hayten Christiensen, but
- 10:54Speaker 3: like it's sort of like inspired by. And then we
- 10:58Speaker 3: didn't have it really picked out until we were sitting
- 11:01Speaker 3: in the hospital room the day after or I guess
- 11:03Speaker 3: this was the night that he was born, and I
- 11:07Speaker 3: said to Jared, I was like, so, what name on
- 11:09Speaker 3: like our short list is your favorite? And he was
- 11:13Speaker 3: like Hayden and I was like, I think that one's
- 11:15Speaker 3: my favorite too. So then we're like, all right, screw
- 11:18Speaker 3: the illiteration, screw the fact that there's an alliteration and
- 11:21Speaker 3: people may make fun of it, but we like it.
- 11:25Speaker 2: So this was like, right up until delivery time, you
- 11:27Speaker 2: hadn't really decided.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah, because first it was going to be Dominic, which
- 11:32Speaker 3: was after my dad and my grandfather and my grandpa.
- 11:35Speaker 3: But like, it's weird, why wouldn't you just go with
- 11:37Speaker 3: the family name. Well, because I kept saying, how many
- 11:42Speaker 3: how can I say Dominic, Dominic, Dominic, Dominic, Doug Dominic
- 11:45Speaker 3: all day long, you know what I mean. And my
- 11:47Speaker 3: dad has always gone by Jay, and whenever I would
- 11:51Speaker 3: say his name's gonna be Dominic, my dad felt no
- 11:54Speaker 3: emotion towards that. I was like, Dad, do you even
- 11:56Speaker 3: do you care? Do you like that? And He's like,
- 11:58Speaker 3: I don't know. I never had done with Dominica's have
- 12:00Speaker 3: always been j And then and my dad liked Hayden more.
- 12:05Speaker 3: And so then with my dad's neutrality on that and
- 12:10Speaker 3: then me just staying it over and over and over again,
- 12:12Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, so maybe it's not going to
- 12:14Speaker 3: be Dominic. And then we were like kind of thinking
- 12:16Speaker 3: it was going to be Dmitri, which is Dawson's middle name,
- 12:19Speaker 3: because it was like our second favorite name. Which my
- 12:22Speaker 3: advice to everybody out there, like I've said before, don't
- 12:25Speaker 3: name your first kid's middle name your second favorite name,
- 12:28Speaker 3: because then you won't be able to use it if
- 12:30Speaker 3: you have this same sex again, even though I think
- 12:34Speaker 3: I think I like Hayden more than Demitri, you know.
- 12:37Speaker 3: And then we went with Hayden.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so Hayden is then born. Hayden was the
- 12:42Speaker 2: name chosen kind of right up until the end and
- 12:44Speaker 2: then Dawson and the video is so sweet gets to
- 12:48Speaker 2: meet Hayden. What has the big brother reaction been like
- 12:51Speaker 2: so far?
- 12:52Speaker 3: Definitely the best part. My favorite part by far as
- 12:56Speaker 3: see has been seeing Dawson interact with Hayden. He immediately
- 13:01Speaker 3: kind of like understood. I thought I wasn't sure whether
- 13:03Speaker 3: he understood like little brother coming, and but he seemed
- 13:07Speaker 3: to get it. And he has been nothing but sweet,
- 13:12Speaker 3: like no jealousy, just so much interest, so much affection
- 13:17Speaker 3: toward him without even being prompted. He'll say, like, night night, baby,
- 13:24Speaker 3: I love you. It's so special. And then in the
- 13:27Speaker 3: morning he'll come into my room and he'll like look
- 13:30Speaker 3: in the snow, and if Hayden's not in the snow,
- 13:32Speaker 3: he's like, where's baby, And like he now knows that
- 13:35Speaker 3: like morning time is time to like snuggle with Hayden.
- 13:39Speaker 3: The thing that the only thing to worry about is
- 13:41Speaker 3: that like he wants to like just give him like
- 13:43Speaker 3: a bear hug and like throw all of his weight
- 13:45Speaker 3: on him. Besides that, it's just been so sweet and
- 13:50Speaker 3: he like pets his head is very adorable.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It has that been the most emotional part, Like just
- 14:00Speaker 2: watching him kind of adapt and react.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Yes, yesay, And I feel like Dawson has also grown
- 14:08Speaker 3: up so much in I don't know. I was just
- 14:12Speaker 3: the age that he's at at two and a half,
- 14:16Speaker 3: or it has to do with another kid being here,
- 14:19Speaker 3: but he just seems to have like really flourished the
- 14:23Speaker 3: past few weeks. And that's been emotional.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Oh that's awesome. Well he's stepping up, he's maturing. He
- 14:29Speaker 2: knows mom and Dad need a little help and he's
- 14:31Speaker 2: there to give it. I I mean, obviously Dawson has
- 14:35Speaker 2: been such a fun and cue and such a good
- 14:38Speaker 2: looking baby. Is there similarities now when you look at
- 14:42Speaker 2: them as newborns, like, do you think they're going to
- 14:44Speaker 2: look alike?
- 14:45Speaker 3: I think so. That was like one of the first
- 14:46Speaker 3: things that I said when he came out. I was like,
- 14:49Speaker 3: oh my god, thank god he looks like Dawson, because
- 14:54Speaker 3: I don't want, you know, I want them to look
- 14:56Speaker 3: similar because you know, the obvious Dawson's is so f cute.
- 15:01Speaker 3: But yeah, he looks like he's like the darker version
- 15:03Speaker 3: of him. I don't think he's gonna have blue eyes.
- 15:05Speaker 3: It's hard to tell with newborns, but they it seems
- 15:07Speaker 3: to be dark now and dark hair, but they have
- 15:11Speaker 3: very similar features, so I think that's kind of cute.
- 15:15Speaker 3: The ones lighter one's darker.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Well, before we kind of get into this next stage,
- 15:21Speaker 2: questions about what your dreams are, what kind of products
- 15:24Speaker 2: have come on in the last two and a half
- 15:25Speaker 2: years that maybe you would give advice to any listeners on.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Has there any been anything we've missed that you really
- 15:30Speaker 2: wanted to talk about when it comes to bringing Hayden
- 15:34Speaker 2: to the world.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Maybe just that, like Jared is so good with newborns,
- 15:39Speaker 3: and I'm truly like a little jealous, like he's I
- 15:44Speaker 3: feel like with the newborns, he's just like a better
- 15:46Speaker 3: parent than me.
- 15:48Speaker 2: He's just just crushing her right now. And he's around still,
- 15:50Speaker 2: he's still there with you, Okay.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Off the record, he had to go for the weekend,
- 15:55Speaker 3: but that's why, Yeah, he's so comfortable with them. I
- 16:03Speaker 3: feel like I might break them to like a certain point,
- 16:05Speaker 3: you know, and he just when it comes to just
- 16:10Speaker 3: loving on them and just caring for them, there's something
- 16:14Speaker 3: that just comes so much more naturally to Jared when
- 16:18Speaker 3: they hit a certain point, Like I feel like I
- 16:20Speaker 3: totally I click, you know, like it I think what's
- 16:23Speaker 3: nice to me and Jared is that like we each
- 16:26Speaker 3: have like our phases where we thrive, ages and stages
- 16:30Speaker 3: and stuff.
- 16:31Speaker 2: So he loves a newborn.
- 16:32Speaker 3: He's so he's just so good with them. And I
- 16:35Speaker 3: think he says it it's because like he had experience
- 16:38Speaker 3: when volunteering at the hospital and he would be with
- 16:41Speaker 3: little babies and like the nursery and stuff. I'm like,
- 16:44Speaker 3: that could be it, I guess, but I just I don't.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I've never other than our kids, like I don't ever
- 16:50Speaker 3: interact with neighbors.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I can't. I can't really say that. It's happened to
- 16:55Speaker 2: me many times in my life.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Yeah, they're just at the first couple of weeks, they
- 16:59Speaker 3: just seem I'm so fragile, and I'm like, I feel
- 17:02Speaker 3: like changing your diaper is just like I can break you.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, scary. Yeah, We'll keep getting updates. Right, you're two
- 17:14Speaker 2: weeks out, you're fresh, You're you're in survival mode, but
- 17:17Speaker 2: you are thriving. So two and a half years since
- 17:20Speaker 2: you had Dawson. Well, is there anything new out there
- 17:25Speaker 2: or anything you've learned about this process that for anybody
- 17:28Speaker 2: listening who's maybe on their way to have a baby
- 17:31Speaker 2: that you would recommend, that you've learned.
- 17:34Speaker 3: That I've learned like products to deal.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Oh, I mean yeah everything.
- 17:39Speaker 3: So I mean my thing that I posted on Instagram
- 17:41Speaker 3: yesterday is that you know, we're formula fitting again, and
- 17:45Speaker 3: for me, I think it's really good. I just thrive,
- 17:47Speaker 3: have my body back to being my own. But we
- 17:53Speaker 3: have this thing called the baby. I think the pronounced Bariza,
- 17:55Speaker 3: even though I call it Bariza, So it's like a
- 17:58Speaker 3: curing for formula. And with Dawson, we kept it in
- 18:02Speaker 3: the kitchen. I don't know, you just think like, oh,
- 18:03Speaker 3: you make bottles in the kitchen. Well, what's really smart
- 18:07Speaker 3: is that if you bring it up to your night
- 18:10Speaker 3: stand at night and you line it up with like
- 18:13Speaker 3: six clean balls and you don't have to get out
- 18:16Speaker 3: of bed when the kid wakes up and it's hungry.
- 18:19Speaker 3: So I stay in bed all night long.
- 18:21Speaker 2: And that's been helpful.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Yes, it's been very good. And what's interesting is that
- 18:27Speaker 3: like what one kid likes, the other one may not.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Dawson loved his swings, his Mama Roo, the greyco Swing,
- 18:39Speaker 3: and then Hayden likes his little vibrating chair.
- 18:43Speaker 4: So anything else like yeah, this time I've also like
- 18:50Speaker 4: kept like a basket of like all the necessities like
- 18:53Speaker 4: by our side, like diapers, wipes, bottles, and I always
- 18:57Speaker 4: have it like near us and it can go up and.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Down the stairs. And then I would just say overall,
- 19:05Speaker 3: I think I've said this before on the podcast, but
- 19:07Speaker 3: like just don't worry so much about like preparing, because
- 19:12Speaker 3: you will figure it out and it will come to
- 19:15Speaker 3: you regular, relatively naturally. Just the whole baby thing. You know,
- 19:24Speaker 3: it's just like at first they eat, they sleep, you
- 19:27Speaker 3: have to burp them. Burping is probably burping is you
- 19:31Speaker 3: know early on burping is kind of a challenge. It's
- 19:35Speaker 3: something you forget about because you feel like if they
- 19:37Speaker 3: eat and then they don't burp, but you didn't do
- 19:39Speaker 3: something right. But that's like kind of what it is
- 19:43Speaker 3: at first, so and then like it and then it
- 19:47Speaker 3: just grows into something else. But everything is so gradual
- 19:51Speaker 3: that you don't even see it in front of your eyes.
- 19:54Speaker 3: And then all of a sudden they're two and a
- 19:55Speaker 3: half and you're like, how did you get to be
- 19:57Speaker 3: so independent? You can't figure it out? What it's that gradual?
- 20:05Speaker 2: So great, Well, we all here have been anxiously awaiting
- 20:10Speaker 2: your return, to hear about the experience, to hear about Hayden,
- 20:14Speaker 2: and kind of do this introduction into the world. We
- 20:16Speaker 2: can't wait to hear all the stories that are going
- 20:19Speaker 2: to come from raising Dawson and Hayden over the next
- 20:22Speaker 2: many many years. But for now, well done, good job.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Tell Jared's the same thing. Keep crushing it, and we're
- 20:30Speaker 2: happy you're back.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Thank you. I'm so I'm happy to be back. I'm
- 20:34Speaker 3: happy to feel good, so fortunate to feel just like
- 20:39Speaker 3: kind of ready to go back to regular life. And yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 3: he's a cute little baby boy. He's so sweet. I
- 20:47Speaker 3: can't wait for you to meet him.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I can't wait either. It's going to happen soon. Well
- 20:52Speaker 2: until next time, which this week, we are going to
