A Florida man, Thomas Stein, just 20 years old, got sentenced to life plus 45 years for a deadly March 2024 shooting that killed Kayla Rincon-Miller. Despite pleading for one last hug with his family before being taken away, the judge denied physical contact — though Stein was allowed to speak with them. His co-defendant, Christopher Horne Jr., testified against him, claiming he saw Stein pull the trigger. Stein also faces 15 years each for three attempted robberies — all sentences stacked together.
