- 0:23Speaker 1: Hallmark original movies. Yes, indeed, so we hope you'll re
- 0:26Speaker 1: listen to some of our reviews of these movies. Maybe
- 0:30Speaker 1: you've heard them before, maybe you have it. Email us
- 0:33Speaker 1: at Megan and Wendy at gmail dot com with your

- 0:41Speaker 1: We'll be back in January with brand new episodes. Bye, hey, everybody,
- 0:56Speaker 1: welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a bonus episode of Law
- 1:00Speaker 1: Story short the podcast. I'm Megan, I'm Wendy, and today's
- 1:03Speaker 1: episode is our thoughts on Curious cater Dying for Chocolate
- 1:09Speaker 1: from Hallmarks Movies and Mysteries Channel, part of their Spring
- 1:13Speaker 1: Fling lineup. No, that was last year, Springing to Love,
- 1:19Speaker 1: Springing to Love. Yeah, do you think again, we've had
- 1:24Speaker 1: there trying to get viewers over on movies and mysteries,
- 1:28Speaker 1: and that's why they put it Andrew Walker movie over there. Well,
- 1:32Speaker 1: I'm sure, yes. However, these mysteries movies are often turned
- 1:39Speaker 1: into series, like there's the Aurora ty Guarden Mysteries, Yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 1: starring CCB. So it's not unusual for them to get
- 1:45Speaker 1: big names over there. Sure. I mean it is different
- 1:48Speaker 1: than the Tyler Hines movie from last week, like that
- 1:51Speaker 1: was obviously not any sort of mystery type movie. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 1: that was like a legit, regular Hamewark Channel movie that
- 2:00Speaker 1: they put over there. But that happens, you know, during
- 2:04Speaker 1: the holidays, we get regular Christmas movies on movies and mysteries.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So it's movies and the mystery. Yes, I get it.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I was just asking. Yeah, yeah, I hear. Yeah, I
- 2:20Speaker 1: don't know their motivation, all right. Before we move on, now,
- 2:24Speaker 1: we gotta tell the listeners that we have an awesome
- 2:26Speaker 1: new Hallmark only Facebook group. Yeah, tell them it's popping
- 2:30Speaker 1: over there. We've got a nice little handful of people
- 2:33Speaker 1: who know their stuff about Hallmark movies. Yeah, and they
- 2:37Speaker 1: tell us what's what? Man? Yeah, I'm here for it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It's cool. You could search girls Gone, Hallmark and Facebook.
- 2:43Speaker 1: We're a private group. You have to request to be
- 2:48Speaker 1: in it, but we'll let you We'll let you in. Yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 1: it's fun. Agree, we would love to have you join
- 2:55Speaker 1: us over there. Let's start off with a synops of
- 3:00Speaker 1: curious caterer. All right, a single mom who's thrust into
- 3:03Speaker 1: the role of town sleuth to help solve a friend's
- 3:06Speaker 1: mystery death stars Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker. Is she
- 3:11Speaker 1: thrust into the role of town sleuth or does she
- 3:13Speaker 1: jump in face? Seriously? Seriously, I gotta say, like, I
- 3:19Speaker 1: enjoy Nikki Deloche. Oh, she's new to me, like, I
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't think. I watched a new movie from her last year.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It was where she used to ride horses. I can't remember.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I know your Criding Lights was in it. Loved her
- 3:33Speaker 1: jacket yeah, yes, yes, and her sister worked in the
- 3:38Speaker 1: barn yep at a desk. Anyway, I liked her, I
- 3:43Speaker 1: like her, I like her. Yeah. Twenty twenty countdown to Christmas.
- 3:47Speaker 1: She was in a movie called a Granbay Christmas that
- 3:49Speaker 1: I liked very much. So I like Nikki DeLoach. Also,
- 3:55Speaker 1: you know, I love Andrew Walker, and I do love
- 3:57Speaker 1: and he's like a like a top one two for me.
- 4:01Speaker 1: God is so easy to look at and I don't
- 4:03Speaker 1: like the scruff and I just want to be like
- 4:05Speaker 1: touch his face. God is so hot. So, speaking of
- 4:09Speaker 1: Andrew Walker, he hopes this will turn into a series.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And do you know why I think that could happen.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Why because two reasons. One, Hallmark is a known for
- 4:19Speaker 1: turning their mysteries into series. We've got, as mentioned, the
- 4:22Speaker 1: Aurora t Garden Mysteries. I absolutely cannot access the names.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I feel like the dude from Desperate Housewives has a series,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Jesse something or other. We have Crossword Mysteries, which stars
- 4:34Speaker 1: Lacey Shavert like regularly or that has that ended? I
- 4:40Speaker 1: think it has ended. Martha's Vineyard Mystery I Mysteries I
- 4:45Speaker 1: believe is the Jesse Metcalf mystery name. There's also Hannah
- 4:50Speaker 1: s Wentson Mysteries starring Alex Sweet. What I'm saying is
- 4:52Speaker 1: Hallmark likes a mystery series and this lends itself to
- 4:56Speaker 1: that because this movie is based on the Culinary Mystery,
- 5:00Speaker 1: which is seventeen books written by Diane Mount Davidson. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: they could go next to Serial Killer with like C
- 5:11Speaker 1: A R E A. Indeed, I'm spelling it wrong. Well
- 5:14Speaker 1: cereal like fruit loops guys, Yeah, precisely. This is Andrew
- 5:21Speaker 1: Walker's fourth movie with Nikki Delouch. Really. Yeah, they've got
- 5:25Speaker 1: great chemistry together. Wow. Yeah, I think so too. I
- 5:29Speaker 1: think so too. Okay. Obviously filmed in the British Columbia area,
- 5:33Speaker 1: including Vancouver. And I read that Andrew Walker said he
- 5:39Speaker 1: studied detective shows like True Detective from HBO and Mayor
- 5:43Speaker 1: of Eastown, Mayor of Easttown. Yeah. Do I love so
- 5:47Speaker 1: much that he included Mayor of east Town because that
- 5:50Speaker 1: means he's studying like the Kate Winslet Detective. Yeah makes
- 5:54Speaker 1: me happy. Yeah. I thought he had some real tectivy
- 6:01Speaker 1: like vibes totally like very short, kind of grumpy, little superior.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah it I thought you played it well. One hundred
- 6:14Speaker 1: percent agree. I thought you played it well. This movie
- 6:17Speaker 1: also features Lachlin Monroe. He plays Richard Corman Goldi's ex husband,
- 6:22Speaker 1: And if he looks familiar to you, that's because he
- 6:24Speaker 1: has two hundred fifty five IMDb acting credits. That is
- 6:29Speaker 1: the most I've ever seen in my tenure as a
- 6:32Speaker 1: girl's Got Homework reviewer. To me, a lot is in
- 6:36Speaker 1: the hundreds, so he has been in a number of things.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You might recognize him from Riverdale. I recognized him from
- 6:43Speaker 1: Date my Dad. Indeed, he was in Date my Dad
- 6:46Speaker 1: as well. That was a real deep cut. I'm impressed
- 6:48Speaker 1: because he's only in the pilot of that show. Really.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Oh that's crazy, Megan and I A little backstory here.
- 6:55Speaker 1: We used to do a Facebook live on Friday nights
- 6:59Speaker 1: prior to the premiere Update my Dad, which was on
- 7:03Speaker 1: up TV. Yeah, up TV, And I need to interject
- 7:07Speaker 1: and say that we were contracted to do that by
- 7:09Speaker 1: up TV or just like popping on and letting you
- 7:11Speaker 1: know our thoughts on this show that didn't last very long, No,
- 7:15Speaker 1: only one season. It was it was all right, It
- 7:18Speaker 1: was a fun experience. Yes, sure, it's great. Anyway, it's funny.
- 7:22Speaker 1: A lot of Date my Dad actors and actresses show
- 7:26Speaker 1: up in all these Homewark movies. That is where our
- 7:29Speaker 1: love of Matti Finocchio began. M m and are just
- 7:32Speaker 1: like a Cindy Busby. Sorry Cindy. That's all I have
- 7:36Speaker 1: other than wrapped filming on my birthday March fifth.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Ah.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Look, at that March fifth was nearly a month ago. Yeah, quick, quick, quick,
- 7:45Speaker 1: wow crazy edit edit edit, Okay, what was your first
- 7:50Speaker 1: impression of Curious Caterer? All that flirting for a pat
- 7:54Speaker 1: on the shoulder at the end. I have something to
- 7:57Speaker 1: say about that too. Later I got to see I
- 8:00Speaker 1: was like, this is how it ends. Like I thought
- 8:03Speaker 1: they were gonna smooch in that. I was expecting a
- 8:06Speaker 1: smooch like I've never watched like a Hallmark movies and
- 8:11Speaker 1: mystery movie. Huh. And I was like this is My
- 8:14Speaker 1: mind was blowing, like this does not follow the same
- 8:18Speaker 1: cookie cutter recipe. Yeah. I actually rewound the end thinking
- 8:24Speaker 1: did I miss it? Because she watches him walk away,
- 8:28Speaker 1: and all of a sudden I look down and I
- 8:30Speaker 1: met an hour fifty nine and I realized this is
- 8:31Speaker 1: actually the end. Yeah. My first impression is this was
- 8:37Speaker 1: really fun. More mysteries, please, I got it. Agree. I
- 8:42Speaker 1: was like, oh my god, I kind of like this. Yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 1: so what did you like about this movie? This is
- 8:50Speaker 1: a good segue. I gotta say, like, I really liked
- 8:53Speaker 1: the story. Mostly. It was definitely different than any weather
- 8:58Speaker 1: movie that we watch on the Hamewark Chant, Like in
- 9:01Speaker 1: terms of like being a mystery, yeah, because we haven't
- 9:05Speaker 1: delved into the mysteries, right yeah. And I thought like
- 9:08Speaker 1: it skewed more Lifetime, but it was a little less
- 9:11Speaker 1: gritty than Lifetime. Huh agree. I was into it. I
- 9:17Speaker 1: thought this was really funny in a campy, silly way.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It did not take itself too seriously. The writing was fun.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I thought Nikki Dilouch and Andrew Walker played really well
- 9:30Speaker 1: on each other, and you know, just the way she
- 9:35Speaker 1: kind of gets in the way a little bit. It
- 9:37Speaker 1: gave me enough mystery that I kept wondering, like who
- 9:39Speaker 1: done it? Like I couldn't figure it out, Like I
- 9:42Speaker 1: didn't know. I kept suspecting it was like the her friend,
- 9:46Speaker 1: the yes, dark haired I don't even know what the
- 9:48Speaker 1: girl's name was, but she was always in the kitchen,
- 9:50Speaker 1: uh huh. Yeah. And then they find out that they
- 9:53Speaker 1: poisoned the shortbread and she was sitting there with the
- 9:57Speaker 1: short bread all alone, m all alone. I thought the
- 10:03Speaker 1: food shots looked really good, and I was like, is
- 10:05Speaker 1: this a Giata Dala Renis joint here? You know what
- 10:09Speaker 1: I mean? Like, because she did the Love of More
- 10:13Speaker 1: last week, right yeah, I can whatever her production company
- 10:18Speaker 1: did that movie, and I thought the food looked really
- 10:20Speaker 1: great in that movie. I thought the food looked really
- 10:22Speaker 1: good in this movie too. She was like pattering the
- 10:25Speaker 1: benets and the doing the chocolate, and I have something
- 10:29Speaker 1: to say about the chocolate later, but I thought most
- 10:31Speaker 1: of the food at that banquet looked fantastic. Yes, yes, yes, yes, okay,
- 10:37Speaker 1: all right. Finally, I couldn't believe that doctor Gentle pulled
- 10:40Speaker 1: out a gun. I was like, I was like, oh,
- 10:43Speaker 1: like seriously gassed while I was watching it, because I
- 10:45Speaker 1: did not expect that from a Hallmark movie. Well, and
- 10:48Speaker 1: I loved how they opened with the penultimate scene of
- 10:53Speaker 1: her running through the woods, and then they flashed back
- 10:55Speaker 1: for days and then we get back to that scene.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It's just so different. You are used to watching the
- 11:02Speaker 1: love story Hallmark movie. Yeah, it's such a welcome change. Well,
- 11:05Speaker 1: so that's what I thought I was watching, was a
- 11:07Speaker 1: love story Hallmark movie, Yeah, but set to a mystery.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And it wasn't. No, And so there are going to
- 11:14Speaker 1: be people who are listening to this, who are yelling
- 11:15Speaker 1: at us, that are going to be telling us that
- 11:17Speaker 1: this is what the mysteries are like. I have never
- 11:19Speaker 1: watched them. I think I've seen one Aurora t. Guarden
- 11:22Speaker 1: mystery because my daughter really likes CCP. But this was
- 11:27Speaker 1: the entire format was new to me, and so not
- 11:30Speaker 1: only was it novel, but it featured actors that I loved,
- 11:33Speaker 1: and it was such a nice break from the formula. Now.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I asked in our Hallmark group if people were rooting
- 11:45Speaker 1: for his name Tim or Tom his name's Tom, Detective
- 11:50Speaker 1: Tom and Goldie, if they were rooting for them to
- 11:52Speaker 1: like get together at the end. Yeah, And some of
- 11:56Speaker 1: the responses, this was one of them from Gene. She
- 11:58Speaker 1: says it's too soon for romance if this is gonna
- 12:01Speaker 1: be a series. Excellent point. And Rina said that they
- 12:08Speaker 1: have good chemistry as always, Bet she wanted more conflict
- 12:11Speaker 1: between them, So maybe if this series moves forward, we'll
- 12:14Speaker 1: see a little bit of conflict in number two. Yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I agree. We can't get straight to if we're gonna
- 12:21Speaker 1: have ten movies, I gotta have some tension. Yeah, you
- 12:26Speaker 1: gotta build up to it, right. Yeah. They did a
- 12:30Speaker 1: nice job of laying the backstory we know about both
- 12:32Speaker 1: of their exes. How funny was that scene when he's like,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I used to be married to Sow and Stone she's
- 12:38Speaker 1: like so and so. I thought it was very funny
- 12:43Speaker 1: writing agree. There's a tweet about that line. Her name's Jessemine,
- 12:48Speaker 1: by the way, that's women get married, and the tweet
- 12:52Speaker 1: shows Andrew Walker and Nikki DeLoach when he's revealing that
- 12:56Speaker 1: moment to her and she's kind of given him the side,
- 12:58Speaker 1: and the tweet says, when you I want to tell
- 13:00Speaker 1: him he married a girl that eight paced called the
- 13:02Speaker 1: teacher mommy and cried to naptime because she was scared
- 13:04Speaker 1: of the dark. But no, you'll hold on to that
- 13:05Speaker 1: one for a little while. That's who wrote it. His
- 13:08Speaker 1: name is Stevie Coolest. Okay, cool cool Coolest. Okay. Let's
- 13:13Speaker 1: talk about what we wished for. I don't have many
- 13:17Speaker 1: wished for, no comments, mostly a question in this one,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and it is, would a detective really let some non
- 13:25Speaker 1: police person like get so involved in this case? And
- 13:28Speaker 1: he gave her so much insider information? Yes, and he
- 13:32Speaker 1: didn't know enough that she wasn't involved, right, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 1: a true detective brought her on the inside. I mean,
- 13:41Speaker 1: she could just be a total sociopath, total really good
- 13:45Speaker 1: at deflecting information, especially if she knows what you know, right,
- 13:51Speaker 1: and I'm like, hello, the cookies were in the car.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You made the cookies. Maybe you're a suspect lady. Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 1: She's like, I didn't do that. He goes, I know, right,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I trust you, Okay, you know. Really the only thing
- 14:10Speaker 1: I wished for, and we've talked about it multiple times
- 14:13Speaker 1: already this episode, but I missed the romance. And I
- 14:16Speaker 1: honestly can't believe I'm saying this because we've said many
- 14:19Speaker 1: times in other movies it doesn't always need to end
- 14:22Speaker 1: with the happy ending kiss. We're in a romantic relationship,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and this time I really wanted it to. Yeah, but
- 14:29Speaker 1: I think like him walking away, I mean she did
- 14:31Speaker 1: kind of like I think he patted her on the
- 14:34Speaker 1: shoulder and she like grabbed his hand and then he
- 14:36Speaker 1: walked away, and they show that shot of her like,
- 14:40Speaker 1: you know, so, I mean, I think it definitely leaves
- 14:44Speaker 1: the door open, and I think they have an almost
- 14:46Speaker 1: kiss earlier in the movie. I don't recall. They definitely
- 14:50Speaker 1: have some tension, some flirtatious moments. But I missed it.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I felt I was left one. She did, I guess recheated.
- 15:01Speaker 1: All right, let's get on to did you see that? Hey,
- 15:04Speaker 1: what the house is back. I told you, I told
- 15:08Speaker 1: you Adele's house. We usually see it as hotel space,
- 15:11Speaker 1: uh huh, but it was also a house in previous
- 15:15Speaker 1: movies we've seen. I don't remember it being a house.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I always remember it being hotel space. It was a
- 15:21Speaker 1: house in one of the Christmas movies. Oh okay, I
- 15:23Speaker 1: am certain of it, but I think it was a
- 15:27Speaker 1: community center at one point. Yeah, I think so too. Yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 1: it's beautiful on the outside the interior shots. There's no
- 15:34Speaker 1: way that's the actual interior of that house because it
- 15:36Speaker 1: looks completely different from everything else we've seen masquerading as
- 15:41Speaker 1: the interior of that house. So I wonder if that's like,
- 15:45Speaker 1: is that just like a whose house is that? I
- 15:48Speaker 1: don't know. I'm so curious. But it was like, oh,
- 15:52Speaker 1: look there's that house we know. I thought this was
- 15:56Speaker 1: really funny and I laughed out loud in the scene
- 15:59Speaker 1: when gold he tackles doctor Gentle at the end, Yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and she says to Tom, She's like, I was closer.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I thought it was so funny. But when she tackled him,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I thought I was like, why would she do that?
- 16:12Speaker 1: She is with a like trained police, Why do you
- 16:16Speaker 1: tell you, Now, why didn't he act sooner, like you
- 16:20Speaker 1: know before this, Like where's his gun? That was my
- 16:23Speaker 1: next question. He never had a gun. I didn't see one.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I don't I don't understand. It wasn't real dark on
- 16:29Speaker 1: ice cream. But yeah, I never saw he never like
- 16:32Speaker 1: pulled one out. There was no like duel like he
- 16:34Speaker 1: was never like you're a policy ready, Are you telling
- 16:36Speaker 1: me that a police officer in the middle of an
- 16:38Speaker 1: active murder investigation is not armed at an event where
- 16:42Speaker 1: all of the suspects are going to be They're armed
- 16:46Speaker 1: all the time. Every police officer I know is always armed.
- 16:51Speaker 1: And I don't like that, but yeah, they're always armed.
- 16:54Speaker 1: When she they were in the like woods or whatever,
- 16:57Speaker 1: like when he was when doctor Gentle was like making
- 17:00Speaker 1: Goldie go out in the words and she's like, I
- 17:02Speaker 1: have to take my shoe off. I thought she was
- 17:04Speaker 1: going to turn around and whack him with her heel
- 17:06Speaker 1: me too. I was like, that's a good idea, but
- 17:07Speaker 1: then she just like elbowed him and then tell me.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, get them with that heel in the
- 17:11Speaker 1: floorhead knocking out right. A tweet from one Kiss means Forever,
- 17:16Speaker 1: says man, This movie has more suspicious looking characters in
- 17:19Speaker 1: a train on the Orient Express. I agree. I was like,
- 17:22Speaker 1: is it the step son? Is it the husband of Adele?
- 17:27Speaker 1: Was it Adele? Was it? Well? And here's what I like.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I feel like there's so many unresolved storylines going forward
- 17:34Speaker 1: that in a series we still can get more of
- 17:37Speaker 1: what's happening with Adele and her husband, who I think
- 17:40Speaker 1: is an alcoholic. What let's talk about that scene for
- 17:43Speaker 1: a second when they're at the charity lunch and early
- 17:47Speaker 1: in the movie, was he drunk? Is that why she
- 17:49Speaker 1: had to escort him out of there? She goes, it's
- 17:51Speaker 1: eleven thirty in the morning or something. Uh huh. I
- 17:54Speaker 1: thought so. But then they never really seemed to revisit
- 17:58Speaker 1: that storyline, except for the fact that they are building
- 18:04Speaker 1: essentially a treatment center for addiction. Oh uh huh. But
- 18:09Speaker 1: I never saw them revisit it in terms of Archie's addiction. Yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: it was Archie an investor, I don't remember. And I
- 18:18Speaker 1: also felt like we had an unresolved storyline of Adele's
- 18:21Speaker 1: ex husband and her son's father's mysterious death. Yes, so
- 18:27Speaker 1: what happened there?
- 18:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 18:31Speaker 1: It's it leaves the door open for a great some
- 18:34Speaker 1: more storytelling. Here's one funny thing. I can't remember his name,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but it was the teacher. Oh yes, and they're coming
- 18:42Speaker 1: to the teacher to ask him to be an investor
- 18:48Speaker 1: in this wellness center, like he comes from money or something.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I just thought it was weird first, like they're like,
- 18:56Speaker 1: oh yeah, let's ask the teacher to be an investor
- 19:00Speaker 1: this wellness center. I was like, do they ask him?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Speaking of the teacher who's played by Antonio Cayone, who
- 19:07Speaker 1: will be familiar because he was in a couple of
- 19:10Speaker 1: the Evergreen movies, most notably Christmas and Evergreen Bells Are Ringing,
- 19:15Speaker 1: which was a terrible culmination of that series. It was
- 19:18Speaker 1: I feel badly for him because he got a raw
- 19:23Speaker 1: deal in that movie. But that's another wide open storyline.
- 19:28Speaker 1: We have this teacher who seems to be somewhat beloved.
- 19:34Speaker 1: He goes on this date with Goldie and at one
- 19:38Speaker 1: point she seems to suspect him of being the murderer,
- 19:42Speaker 1: so she leaves the date abruptly. But prior to that,
- 19:45Speaker 1: it seemed like, prior to her suspecting him and going
- 19:49Speaker 1: on the date, it seems like maybe there were some
- 19:51Speaker 1: feelings there because they had been dancing around getting together,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and she finally admits she hasn't been the date in forever,
- 19:56Speaker 1: so that seems unresolved. And we find out that the
- 19:59Speaker 1: day woman is also his former girlfriend.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Yeah, that's there's so much happening. Yeah, can can we
- 20:10Speaker 2: talk about Goldies?
- 20:15Speaker 1: Truck says very good catering gold Yeo, okay, go ahead,
- 20:22Speaker 1: Verry good. It's like a play on words. I know,
- 20:28Speaker 1: but you think it should be Goldie something Goldies catering Barry.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I don't like Barry as very like. I don't. It
- 20:33Speaker 1: feels like like youthful, like use it for Teddy bears.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Oh okay, a sophisticated catering operation. Well, speaking of that,
- 20:42Speaker 1: I thought that she looked very unstressed, for like she's
- 20:46Speaker 1: catering this like brunch at school, and then she does
- 20:50Speaker 1: the party and she's like actually not doing any of
- 20:53Speaker 1: the work. We never see any of her staff never,
- 20:56Speaker 1: So who's back there making this happen? Because when she's
- 20:59Speaker 1: at the party, they're like, oh, it's only the first course.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Why is she not back there making the second course happen?
- 21:04Speaker 1: I don't know any that's not how that works. No,
- 21:07Speaker 1: They're like, we would like you to be a guest,
- 21:09Speaker 1: and I would be like, absolutely not, I don't have
- 21:11Speaker 1: time for that. Hu. She's just like, sorry, I have
- 21:13Speaker 1: my detective hat on tonight. I am trying to sell
- 21:16Speaker 1: this murder. And then Adele makes her take her apron off.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I didn't realize that, yes, because doctor Gentle comes over
- 21:24Speaker 1: and he's like, I've been sent by her hostess. Your
- 21:27Speaker 1: food's delicious, and please take your apron off. And he
- 21:28Speaker 1: takes her apron from her because she looks like the
- 21:31Speaker 1: staff evident. Oh my gosh, I don't get it. Okay, interesting.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Are you ready to rate this movie? I am. I
- 21:40Speaker 1: have a real star search rating here. Okay, three two, one,
- 21:44Speaker 1: three and a half stars, five, Oh, very close. I
- 21:50Speaker 1: wrote that I would definitely watch this as a series,
- 21:53Speaker 1: A hundred percent agree. You gotta get me in on
- 21:56Speaker 1: that first one. I'm not going to go back and
- 21:58Speaker 1: watch the Tea Garden series now that there's been a
- 21:59Speaker 1: busy of them, Like naw I saw the first one.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm invested. Yes, absolutely, give me more, Give me more.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Next week we're back to one episode and it is
- 22:12Speaker 1: love classified. The Hallmark community is quite torn. On their
- 22:16Speaker 1: thoughts about this movie. Because Hallmark had the audacity to
- 22:20Speaker 1: feature a same sex couple, and you know what's weird.
- 22:23Speaker 1: So did a royal runaway romance, so did what was
- 22:26Speaker 1: the most recent movie with Mattie Finocchio, but just One Kiss?
- 22:30Speaker 1: So did just One Kiss. Now those characters aren't in
- 22:35Speaker 1: the preview right, but apparently the Hallmark community is up
- 22:40Speaker 1: in arms. I just think it's so ridiculous. Sit down,
- 22:45Speaker 1: it's so dumb. And I think too because like those
- 22:48Speaker 1: other movies that you mentioned, they were all like side characters.
- 22:53Speaker 1: It wasn't in your face. We're gonna see some in
- 22:55Speaker 1: your face I think yeah, because they're including that storyline
- 22:59Speaker 1: as part of the ta and these are the children
- 23:03Speaker 1: of the main character, Melaura Harden, So yes, I think
- 23:07Speaker 1: they will feature more prominently than those characters. I'm very
- 23:10Speaker 1: excited for this movie. I think the previews make it
- 23:12Speaker 1: look great. Me too. I love Malaura Harden, me too.
- 23:16Speaker 1: So we will be back with our thoughts on Love
- 23:18Speaker 1: Classified next Thursday. In the meantime, hop into our Facebook
- 23:23Speaker 1: group let us know your thoughts on this movie, and
- 23:26Speaker 1: until then, happy watching, everybody, Good Bye bye,
