- 0:17Speaker 1: Mark Davis and Mike Gallagher. This is Eminem Extra.
- 0:22Speaker 2: If there's a takeaway to last night's primary, perhaps, just
- 0:26Speaker 2: perhaps it is don't believe the polls. Welcome in Happy
- 0:30Speaker 2: Wednesday on Mike. He's Mark, Hey, Texas, are you paying
- 0:35Speaker 2: attention to how wrong polls can be? I know a
- 0:38Speaker 2: guy named Mark Davis who has been confidently saying that
- 0:42Speaker 2: all the polls showing that this Tallarico weirdo is not
- 0:47Speaker 2: going to win over the conservative Ken Paxton. Incidentally, what
- 0:52Speaker 2: a day to welcome in Preborn to the Eminem Extra
- 0:57Speaker 2: after this wicked news out of Massachusetts that they have
- 1:01Speaker 2: now signed legislation enabling abortion till the very last moment
- 1:07Speaker 2: of birth of pregnancy. You can stand for life and

- 1:32Speaker 2: I know, Mark, there's a lot of there's a lot
- 1:34Speaker 2: of primary news we want to break down. But isn't
- 1:36Speaker 2: it isn't. What happened in Massachusetts one of the sickest,
- 1:40Speaker 2: most disgusting things you've seen in a long time. Quinn
- 1:43Speaker 2: Roe v.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Wade was dashed against the rocks, and properly so. It
- 1:47Speaker 3: didn't bring about a nationwide abortion man as fearmongers tried
- 1:52Speaker 3: to scare people into thinking everybody with the pro choice world,
- 1:55Speaker 3: the radical pro abortion world, said well, you're just not
- 1:57Speaker 3: going to be able to get an abortion. Well no,
- 1:59Speaker 3: it was true to the Constitution, letting states do what
- 2:03Speaker 3: they wish to do, which means Florida is pretty pro life,
- 2:06Speaker 3: Texas is very pro life, Alabama, Utah very pro life.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And the pro abortion states, if they're into the baby killing,
- 2:14Speaker 3: they're going to lean into the baby killing, and boy
- 2:16Speaker 3: have they in the People's Republic of Massachusetts. This is ghoulish, it's.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Avil it's evil, it's demonic. In fact, what's demonic is
- 2:26Speaker 2: the way they gathered around her the Governor's desk yesterday.
- 2:30Speaker 2: We have a little bit of this. We have this
- 2:31Speaker 2: clip of Governor Mora Healey, the Democrat governor of Massachusetts,
- 2:36Speaker 2: signing the legislation that now legalizes abortion up until the
- 2:42Speaker 2: moment of birth. Now picture this. If you're just listening
- 2:45Speaker 2: to us today, I'll narrate it. If you're watching, you
- 2:49Speaker 2: can see it. She's surrounded by a group of women,
- 2:52Speaker 2: including women in lab coats who I presume mark our
- 2:57Speaker 2: physicians just go here and go doctor. Bring it so
- 3:02Speaker 2: much for the what is it? The uchocratic, hippo hippocrist
- 3:08Speaker 2: do no harm? Socrates was wise, hippocratic oath first, the
- 3:12Speaker 2: hippocratic oath. Yes, that's the way. And thank you, thank
- 3:16Speaker 2: you for rescuing me. As I was talking on the
- 3:18Speaker 2: show today about Mackinac Island. You did, yeah, well, it's
- 3:24Speaker 2: like Mackanac. I know it is. It's Mackinaw. I know
- 3:27Speaker 2: Macinaw Island.
- 3:28Speaker 3: The island is Michiganders love and Abdul hates good l
- 3:34Speaker 3: said Mohammad.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Jaziri Rockman uh he he does not like Mcinaw Island. Surprise,
- 3:45Speaker 2: he didn't call him Mackinac Island like dummy me. But
- 3:48Speaker 2: but here it is. This is sobering, it's it's very morbid,
- 3:53Speaker 2: it's very grotesque. But here's the moment of truth. When
- 3:57Speaker 2: Maura Healy signed the legislation legalizing abortion till the moment
- 4:02Speaker 2: of birth in the state of Massachusetts yesterday.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 4:13Speaker 2: See the smiles, the leering grins, the laughter, the joy sacrament.
- 4:23Speaker 3: This is a holy sacrament to the church of pro abortion.
- 4:29Speaker 2: How do you explain this? What would a Democrat who
- 4:33Speaker 2: believes in the so called right to choose? That's the
- 4:36Speaker 2: argument they always make. You know, it's a woman's body,
- 4:39Speaker 2: my body, my choice, except for COVID. Of course, my body,
- 4:42Speaker 2: my choice. I have a right to decide. How could
- 4:45Speaker 2: you justify signing the legis they had a twenty four
- 4:49Speaker 2: week window in Massachusetts, but that wasn't enough for them.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Knew they got rid of that. And they said and
- 4:55Speaker 2: yesterday and they said, no, no, you're eight months and
- 4:58Speaker 2: three weeks pregnant. Go in right in there to that
- 5:01Speaker 2: abortion mill and we'll take care of that baby. We'll
- 5:03Speaker 2: suck it out, we'll scalple it up, we'll cut it up. Mark,
- 5:07Speaker 2: what can you give can you you're really great at
- 5:09Speaker 2: a contrarian point of view, can you can you make
- 5:12Speaker 2: the case that this is a good thing for Massachusetts?
- 5:16Speaker 3: Of course not, but I understand and you've very kindly
- 5:20Speaker 3: phrased it about contrarianism and our responsibility here in the
- 5:24Speaker 3: ideological battlefield. Even if we vociferously disagree with something, it's like,
- 5:28Speaker 3: why would someone feel that way? What makes somebody feel
- 5:32Speaker 3: that way? And in this particular case, an unwanted pregnancy,
- 5:39Speaker 3: the obligation to protect life means that there's a consequence
- 5:44Speaker 3: or an unwise sexual decision, And what the left wants
- 5:48Speaker 3: is consequence free sex, to just do whatever you want
- 5:51Speaker 3: with anybody at any time. And then if you whoop's pregnancy,
- 5:55Speaker 3: then that's just a problem that needs to be extinguished
- 5:57Speaker 3: and not a life that you've created. So they must
- 5:59Speaker 3: suppress us the humanity, the personhood of the baby in
- 6:04Speaker 3: order to make it just a procedure, just a little
- 6:06Speaker 3: something you got to take care of, and then you
- 6:08Speaker 3: get on with your life.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I guess, I guess you just say, Okay, life doesn't
- 6:13Speaker 2: look We started praying a few weeks ago based on
- 6:16Speaker 2: your great bold stance that during COVID we're going to
- 6:22Speaker 2: pray every day together as an audience collective. I got
- 6:25Speaker 2: one complaint last week. I got a complaint from a
- 6:28Speaker 2: Jewish listener in Sacramento who didn't like the fact that
- 6:32Speaker 2: we pray in Jesus's name. Didn't like that at all.
- 6:35Speaker 2: And you know, I get it. I mean, when I
- 6:37Speaker 2: originally composed the prayer, I didn't have Jesus's name in
- 6:40Speaker 2: the prayer. But then people started, you know, hitting me hard, saying, Mike,
- 6:45Speaker 2: you got to include Jesus's names. That's how the Bible
- 6:48Speaker 2: teaches us to pray. You got to preach it, you
- 6:50Speaker 2: got to pray in his name. So I get it.
- 6:53Speaker 2: I mean a lot. I had a lot of Jewish.
- 6:56Speaker 3: The side of the coin. No good deed goes unpunished
- 6:58Speaker 3: from the day in COVID. And when I started with this,
- 7:01Speaker 3: I refer to God and I refer to these things
- 7:03Speaker 3: in his holy name. I'm all about Jesus. It's not
- 7:08Speaker 3: in mind. And I caught hell for it not being so.
- 7:11Speaker 3: No matter, no matter what, no matter what you do.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You can't. It's just that's why there's shocks. You know.
- 7:18Speaker 2: All right, let's go to election night. This was wild
- 7:22Speaker 2: that Francesca hung was ahead in every poll by we
- 7:28Speaker 2: weren't even going to be close. Well, you gave the list.
- 7:31Speaker 3: It was great you. In one poll she was up
- 7:32Speaker 3: by eight, and another one she was up by ten.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Was there one when she was up by twenty nine?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Twenty nine? The State Navigate poll, she was up by
- 7:41Speaker 2: twenty nine. Then Public Policy Polling, she was up by eighteen.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Marquette University, I've heard of them, sure, twenty five points.
- 7:50Speaker 2: She was up by twenty five. Public Policy Polling. You've
- 7:53Speaker 2: seen that poll, the PPP pole that you see a
- 7:55Speaker 2: lot of famous. Yeah, they're good, they're famous. They're up
- 7:59Speaker 2: by twenty, up by twenty. Mark polling is broken. It's ridiculous.
- 8:07Speaker 2: But did you you got to tell me you saw
- 8:10Speaker 2: you saw Karnaky on NBC last night? You know I
- 8:13Speaker 2: saw a reference to it. Do you have it? Don't
- 8:17Speaker 2: the other tapes?
- 8:18Speaker 3: Okay, Steve Karnaky is and it's funny MSNBC MS now
- 8:22Speaker 3: makes my teeth itch. But he's a really really good
- 8:25Speaker 3: numbers crunching guy, and you know, goes to the screen
- 8:29Speaker 3: and generally his history is you know, and he's not
- 8:32Speaker 3: up there to bag on anybody. He's up there to
- 8:34Speaker 3: do numbers. But how stuff hits him is interesting, So
- 8:37Speaker 3: I'll stop talking and set it.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Up for me. Oh, this is good. He's got his
- 8:41Speaker 2: gym shoes on and he's running around the set. He's
- 8:44Speaker 2: got the big board, and he's sitting there with some
- 8:46Speaker 2: other guy that I've never heard of or seen before.
- 8:48Speaker 2: He's on some other analyst. And obviously it did not
- 8:52Speaker 2: go as planned, not only for Francesca hung the chef
- 8:57Speaker 2: who hates Thanksgiving, but it didn't go well for mister Kornacky.
- 9:02Speaker 5: Okay, wow, what the heck just came in Brown?
- 9:07Speaker 6: Which was that? The that was huge for her?
- 9:11Speaker 4: Yeah, so that was about eighteen thousand votes and she
- 9:15Speaker 4: nets two thousand.
- 9:22Speaker 6: Question was that the that wasn't Central count?
- 9:28Speaker 2: Was it?
- 9:29Speaker 4: It's possible there's no remaining vote in Brown, according to
- 9:33Speaker 4: our counter.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I'll check the I'll check the website.
- 9:36Speaker 5: I said I want per say more, but now I do,
- 9:37Speaker 5: because if that was vote, if that was Central count,
- 9:40Speaker 5: is what was his percentage of that vote?
- 9:44Speaker 6: Let's take a look.
- 9:45Speaker 5: If this was Central count, this is the question we're
- 9:49Speaker 5: getting at from Milwaukee. If you just got buried in
- 9:51Speaker 5: Central count Green Bay, it was forty four to thirty
- 9:55Speaker 5: four hangover Crowley. Okay, okay, yeah, let's can we ask
- 10:01Speaker 5: our decision disk what we think that was that?
- 10:03Speaker 1: Just?
- 10:04Speaker 6: You know, and do we think there's central count left
- 10:07Speaker 6: for now?
- 10:09Speaker 2: There's now there's even a better one.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Well there's So that's the way the narratives here, because first,
- 10:15Speaker 3: Karnaky probably in that building, probably has his views. I
- 10:19Speaker 3: think the shock and disorientation may be a result that
- 10:23Speaker 3: it was so wildly divergent from poles, because Karnaky is
- 10:27Speaker 3: a polling dork, a kind of a political numbers game.
- 10:32Speaker 3: And and but also there where he mentioned Milwaukee, there
- 10:35Speaker 3: were real technological and human failing oddities that happened in
- 10:41Speaker 3: Milwaukee that delayed the result for a while as well.
- 10:43Speaker 3: So it was just as we say in the game
- 10:46Speaker 3: a cluster. It's my little box here, I got this
- 10:50Speaker 3: little noise.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh that's awesome, my little sound machine. We could use
- 10:56Speaker 2: that three times a day. Oh and it's not just
- 10:59Speaker 2: I mean that's all kinds. I got all kinds of
- 11:02Speaker 2: sound effects on this thing, the Lord. But there's a
- 11:05Speaker 2: better one. I think, isn't Clip eight even better? Yasmin?
- 11:08Speaker 2: I think is this the one you said was the
- 11:09Speaker 2: same as thirteen. This is a different one. I think
- 11:12Speaker 2: where he's he's he's hanging Okay, eleven, I guess he's
- 11:15Speaker 2: hanging his head down in shame. It's so bad. Look
- 11:20Speaker 2: at and you're watching on the monitor, Mark, and again,
- 11:22Speaker 2: if you're with us on YouTube right now, you can
- 11:24Speaker 2: see it. Well, we'll describe it and narrate it to
- 11:26Speaker 2: you if you're if you're listening and just listening to
- 11:29Speaker 2: the audio only portion of our podcast, he is he
- 11:32Speaker 2: is like stricken. You'd think his dog just died. Check
- 11:36Speaker 2: this out.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I guess the exact thing, yes, is if five of
- 11:40Speaker 4: the USB sticks were missing results from the election, so
- 11:44Speaker 4: then they have to they have to go try to
- 11:45Speaker 4: regrab them.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Look at him, Look at him, Mark, look at look
- 11:48Speaker 2: at Karnaky dead air. Hey Steve, you're on you're on
- 11:53Speaker 2: camera talk and they're the other guy that.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Scenes are talking about this as well, so we can assay.
- 12:02Speaker 6: Look, it's unfortunate that folks by the scenes here you're saying, yes,
- 12:05Speaker 6: we are are.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Talk safely. Hey, Steve, you know how this works. When
- 12:18Speaker 2: there's a little red light that comes on over that camera,
- 12:21Speaker 2: Boxy doing something, you got to look into that and
- 12:23Speaker 2: you got to say something.
- 12:24Speaker 3: So is that is that it was he bumfuzzled by
- 12:28Speaker 3: the technical meltdown or the lack of data his earpiece
- 12:33Speaker 3: or who cares? I mean, it's I will tell you.
- 12:37Speaker 2: So.
- 12:37Speaker 3: I watched the beginning of Morning Joe, M O you
- 12:40Speaker 3: R N I N G Morning and uh, and they
- 12:43Speaker 3: they seemed at times a little bit giddy that she
- 12:47Speaker 3: had lost, because, let's face it, as Democrats, what they
- 12:50Speaker 3: want to do is keep power, and they probably do
- 12:52Speaker 3: better with David Crowley going against Tom Tiffany as Wisconsin
- 12:56Speaker 3: governor than they do against that dunderheaded Francesca Hong.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So well, and let's go into Democrat land for just
- 13:03Speaker 2: a moment, because to the Democrats, there is a big,
- 13:07Speaker 2: fat election malfeasan's issue to be discussed in Wisconsin. They're
- 13:13Speaker 2: saying that the establishment swooped in and knocked her off
- 13:18Speaker 2: her perch, and they're claiming now election shenanigans. It kind
- 13:23Speaker 2: of does raise one question, and I think it's reasonable
- 13:25Speaker 2: to ask, isn't there a certain threshold where a recount
- 13:30Speaker 2: has to kick in?
- 13:31Speaker 3: Well, I think it has to be closer than this.
- 13:33Speaker 3: It has to be so microscopically close you got to
- 13:36Speaker 3: be pretty close, slenderest of threads. It was pretty close,
- 13:39Speaker 3: and was there not?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Did I?
- 13:40Speaker 3: At some point? Maybe I dreamt it? Wake up and
- 13:43Speaker 3: in the wee hours this morning see the references to
- 13:45Speaker 3: it was funny talking about karma watching a bunch of
- 13:48Speaker 3: Democrats in Wisconsin talk about the mystery of a late
- 13:51Speaker 3: night vote dump.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Yeah, welcome to our world. Welcome to the party, folks.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Welcome to the party. That ain't fun, is it? Yeah? Yeah?
- 14:01Speaker 2: How's it feel? How's it feel? Gosh, there's been so
- 14:04Speaker 2: many But you know the question that I keep I
- 14:06Speaker 2: kept asking on the show, and I want to put
- 14:08Speaker 2: it to you because I think the dilemma here is
- 14:11Speaker 2: a fascinating one for us, for our side. Here's the dilemma.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Do we want these lunatic socialists to win in the
- 14:20Speaker 2: primaries so that they can lose big, big lee in
- 14:24Speaker 2: the general election. Or do you want to stamp out
- 14:28Speaker 2: these communists and Marxists and DSA members now while we
- 14:34Speaker 2: while we can.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Let Republicans stamp them out in the general election, rather
- 14:39Speaker 3: than have Democrats slowly come to their senses. I mean,
- 14:42Speaker 3: it's funny in a way. I'm being glib. We talk
- 14:44Speaker 3: a little bit. And I think you joined me in this,
- 14:46Speaker 3: don't you? That isn't the country better off if we
- 14:49Speaker 3: if we have a Democratic party that we disagree with.
- 14:51Speaker 3: They're too liberal, their ideas are not as good as ours,
- 14:54Speaker 3: but they're not stark raving America hating lunatics, right.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I mean, so I do. But process by which we
- 15:02Speaker 2: get there.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I think what I'd like to have is to have
- 15:03Speaker 3: these America hating bug eyed Lyntics succeed in the primaries
- 15:08Speaker 3: get stumped into obscurity by Republicans. So the Democrats learn
- 15:12Speaker 3: their lesson for the next elections.
- 15:14Speaker 2: But the risk is what if it doesn't go that way?
- 15:18Speaker 3: Win?
- 15:19Speaker 2: What if they win? They win? Look, look you talked
- 15:22Speaker 2: Danny pollster James Tallerico is going to take Texas. He's
- 15:26Speaker 2: gonna win. Well, I know you laughingly.
- 15:29Speaker 3: We've seen how broken Pulling is and in fact, Dallas
- 15:32Speaker 3: Express dot Com I'm writing for them now. My column
- 15:36Speaker 3: yesterday said ignore the summer polls, here's how November is.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Going to go. And then I remain confident about that. Gosh,
- 15:43Speaker 2: I hope and pray you're right. But I want to
- 15:44Speaker 2: go back to your theme about America hating Democrats. Look
- 15:48Speaker 2: at what's been revealed about these high profile folks in
- 15:51Speaker 2: the last just few weeks. And you can start with
- 15:55Speaker 2: abdul Lsie, you can continue with Francesco Hong. Look at
- 15:58Speaker 2: the things they've expressed contempt for football, Fireworks, Mackinaw Island,
- 16:05Speaker 2: not to be confused with Makannaca Island, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, all
- 16:10Speaker 2: the thing you love it, they hate it. If it
- 16:12Speaker 2: brings you joy, it is to be crapped on. And
- 16:15Speaker 2: what and what's the connecting factor of those things that
- 16:18Speaker 2: bring us joy? It's all stuff that is uniquely American. Now, fireworks,
- 16:23Speaker 2: I guess we're invented in one Italy or Francis probably
- 16:26Speaker 2: probably China. China, of course, Fourth of July.
- 16:31Speaker 3: America loving celebratory Thanksgiving football.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Is there any more American than football? The NFL, YEP
- 16:38Speaker 2: think about and one of America's treasures Mackinaw Island. In
- 16:41Speaker 2: other words, the things that make America great they hate
- 16:46Speaker 2: and they say it Mark, they'd rather be in Lebanon.
- 16:49Speaker 2: And I mean that. Look at what the mayor's wife
- 16:51Speaker 2: of New York City wanted. She expected the New York
- 16:54Speaker 2: Police Department to provide a security detail at taxpayer expense
- 16:59Speaker 2: to go protect her when she went to visit her
- 17:02Speaker 2: family and friends in Lebanon. This is this is the
- 17:07Speaker 2: mayor's wife. And kudos to the NYPD. They said, stick
- 17:13Speaker 2: it where the sun don't shine. Lady, we ain't going
- 17:15Speaker 2: to Lebanon, putting ourselves in a war zone to protect
- 17:20Speaker 2: your sorry ass. So you can go over and meet
- 17:23Speaker 2: your your grandma in Lebanon, who's over in the with
- 17:26Speaker 2: her pabushka over there in the in the in the
- 17:29Speaker 2: in the in the shanty somewhere out in the desert.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Are you out of your mind? And of course I
- 17:34Speaker 2: love the optics of mom Donnie who wants to defund
- 17:37Speaker 2: the police, but he wants the police to be protect
- 17:40Speaker 2: his wife when she takes a John over to Lebanon.
- 17:44Speaker 2: They'd be happier in Lebanon, Mark, they really would be there.
- 17:47Speaker 3: They they find things to admire there, to be sure,
- 17:50Speaker 3: and all of this is it is fascinating watching what
- 17:53Speaker 3: you might call the growing pains for Democrats. But I'll
- 17:56Speaker 3: tell you what I've enjoyed is watching the diminishing pain
- 17:59Speaker 3: experience by me in this shoulder because of relief factor.
- 18:03Speaker 3: You guys have been talking about the Relief Factor Studios. Forever,
- 18:06Speaker 3: I've been saying the words Relief Factor Studios where I
- 18:08Speaker 3: fill in on all these shows, and now in these
- 18:10Speaker 3: recent weeks, I'm a convert. I have become aware of
- 18:13Speaker 3: how this can be a fact, quite a factor in
- 18:16Speaker 3: my life. Had this little man just not every day,
- 18:19Speaker 3: just every few days when I'd be throwing the ball
- 18:20Speaker 3: with the dogs or reaching for something in the cars
- 18:22Speaker 3: like that hurts, It just doesn't anymore because of the
- 18:25Speaker 3: wonderful non narcotic ingredients where you literally can feel the difference.
- 18:30Speaker 3: At Reliefactor dot com, I have another Relief Factors success story.
- 18:34Speaker 2: An amazing way for you to get out of pain

- 20:05Speaker 2: You mentioned this morning there was something you wanted to
- 20:07Speaker 2: dive into, and my memory being my memory, remind me
- 20:10Speaker 2: what it was. Because you said on.
- 20:14Speaker 3: A very very pro life feeling day where we're just
- 20:18Speaker 3: in angst over this Massachusetts a nightmare a case out
- 20:23Speaker 3: of Texas. I'll take a minute to describe it. We
- 20:27Speaker 3: played with it a little bit on our radio visit,
- 20:30Speaker 3: but then the sound of that and then I just
- 20:33Speaker 3: I welcome somebody from Texas Alliance for Life to kind
- 20:36Speaker 3: of describe the nuts and bolts, and it's just one
- 20:38Speaker 3: of those things. It was talk show magic. It just exploded,
- 20:42Speaker 3: and I think everybody will realize why. Consider the case
- 20:46Speaker 3: of a California couple who, as many do, that they
- 20:50Speaker 3: were not able to she was not able to have
- 20:53Speaker 3: a baby grow in her womb, so they go the
- 20:56Speaker 3: surrogacy route. A lot of people do this. You can
- 20:58Speaker 3: eventually wind up being around to and whether we think
- 21:01Speaker 3: surrogacy is the greatest thing in the world. But listen,
- 21:03Speaker 3: anything you got a childless couple and they can have
- 21:05Speaker 3: a baby, and somebody else will say, hey, I'll have it,
- 21:07Speaker 3: and then you know, here give it back. To you,
- 21:09Speaker 3: and they got a baby. What's not to love? Well,
- 21:11Speaker 3: that's if everything goes well. What if twenty weeks in
- 21:15Speaker 3: the baby shows evidence at a checkup of a serious,
- 21:19Speaker 3: serious heart defect, something that is going to require immediate
- 21:22Speaker 3: surgery the minute the baby is born, and then two
- 21:25Speaker 3: more surgeries in rapid succession after that. Oh my gosh,
- 21:29Speaker 3: that's some heavy lifting. But hey, that's what happened. That's
- 21:32Speaker 3: you get that curveball sometimes. Yeah, Well, these intended parents,
- 21:35Speaker 3: the ones who had secured the surrogate mom, said we're
- 21:38Speaker 3: out and told the surrogate mom you need to get
- 21:40Speaker 3: an abortion. She is an Alaska nurse named McKenna West,
- 21:45Speaker 3: And she said, I don't think so. I tailed it
- 21:48Speaker 3: here to Texas to protect this baby, whom she has
- 21:52Speaker 3: named baby Gabriel, not because she intends to necessarily keep it,
- 21:56Speaker 3: but dog on it. She's gonna save it. And Attorney
- 21:58Speaker 3: General Ken Paxton seems mobilized to do the same thing.
- 22:02Speaker 3: And so the talk show questions are, Mike get ready,
- 22:06Speaker 3: does she have a right to go on the run
- 22:08Speaker 3: with this? I mean, the baby's in her belly, she
- 22:10Speaker 3: can go wherever she wants. But whose judgment call is this.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Is it hers wanting to save the baby, that's who
- 22:15Speaker 3: I'm rooting for, or these parents who contracted for her service.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Does she have to get an abortion just because they
- 22:22Speaker 3: want it? Surely that's a no. And what do we
- 22:25Speaker 3: think about them? And what do we think about surrogacy?
- 22:29Speaker 3: So there we are right now, or her due date
- 22:31Speaker 3: appears to be the beginning of September. She's at about
- 22:33Speaker 3: thirty six thirty seven weeks right now, and this baby
- 22:38Speaker 3: has a rough road ahead, but the baby's going to live.
- 22:41Speaker 3: If Texas has anything say about it.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Well, this is the inherent problem ofcy surrogacy, and we've
- 22:47Speaker 2: talked about it before, and you go into this whole
- 22:50Speaker 2: mindset that the parents who are spending the money, and incidentally,
- 22:54Speaker 2: it is extraordinarily expensive. We're talking in many cases well
- 23:00Speaker 2: into six figures one hundred, one hundred and fifty, sometimes
- 23:03Speaker 2: two hundred thousand dollars. You pay not only the surrogate mom,
- 23:08Speaker 2: but you pay for all of her expenses. You can
- 23:11Speaker 2: pay for her health care, you can pay for her
- 23:14Speaker 2: her meals, you pay for all kinds of there's I mean,
- 23:17Speaker 2: it's it is a big, big business. And I think
- 23:20Speaker 2: there's a mindset that these parents have. We basically own her.
- 23:25Speaker 2: She's ours. We're paying for this, We're paying for the procedure,
- 23:29Speaker 2: we're paying for her to bring this baby into the world,
- 23:31Speaker 2: and if we want that baby aborted, that's our decision,
- 23:34Speaker 2: not hers. It's a fascinating talk topic, as you said,
- 23:39Speaker 2: but sadly it's real life. It's life or death for
- 23:41Speaker 2: the baby. Because I don't understand how the parents can dictate.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I mean, what does the surrogate mom want to do
- 23:49Speaker 2: with the child when she brings it into the world.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Well, she has two kids already. She she's a nurse,
- 23:55Speaker 3: but you know, everything's in this crazy expensive affordability world.
- 23:59Speaker 3: She's I don't think she's right. There's nothing in her
- 24:02Speaker 3: that makes her look like she's ready to take on
- 24:04Speaker 3: a third kid, especially one that might very well have
- 24:06Speaker 3: special needs. But her brother McKenna's brother, and her wife
- 24:11Speaker 3: and his wife say, we will adopt this baby if
- 24:14Speaker 3: they're notetakers, if if this is the best thing, we
- 24:17Speaker 3: will adopt this baby. There seems to be a path
- 24:19Speaker 3: for this baby to be saved, and I just pray
- 24:22Speaker 3: for everything everything to go well. But boy, did this
- 24:26Speaker 3: go off the rails in a number of ways, and
- 24:29Speaker 3: something happened on the show. I'll share this that we
- 24:33Speaker 3: could either go to something else or whatever you want.
- 24:35Speaker 3: So I'm in the middle of doing this right and
- 24:37Speaker 3: you and I have experienced this for years where you
- 24:39Speaker 3: got a fascinating issue, which this obviously is. Phone calls
- 24:42Speaker 3: are humming, things are going It's like, wow, this is wow.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I hadn't thought about that great call, Thank you so much. Wow,
- 24:47Speaker 3: text line, phone lines, everything's going along. It's a kind
- 24:50Speaker 3: of a talk show dream come true.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Sure. And then.
- 24:54Speaker 3: In just little cherry on top, I'm taking a look
- 24:57Speaker 3: around to puts up a call and there's a gentleman
- 25:00Speaker 3: on the phone and he's going through the he's going
- 25:04Speaker 3: through the surrogacy thing right now. I said, okay, let's
- 25:08Speaker 3: go here. So I go to the gentleman and he's
- 25:10Speaker 3: going through the entire surrogacy thing with his husband.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Oh a gay couple. You got a couple again.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Gay surrogacy. Do we have room for another talk show topic?
- 25:22Speaker 3: So here's what So number one. I was more than
- 25:25Speaker 3: glad to welcome him. I'm all about learning things and
- 25:28Speaker 3: letting people express themselves. And then we see what people
- 25:31Speaker 3: find out about it. Afterwards, so it was underway. So
- 25:35Speaker 3: he's he's in, by the way, two at once, because
- 25:38Speaker 3: they kind of like these to go in rapid succession
- 25:40Speaker 3: so they can get out of the diaper phase and
- 25:41Speaker 3: not spend five years in that with two kids, and
- 25:44Speaker 3: you know, like like what normally happen. So he's got
- 25:46Speaker 3: he's got two. He and his husband have two babies
- 25:50Speaker 3: in the oven by two different women, like right now.
- 25:53Speaker 3: One of them is going to be like October, another
- 25:54Speaker 3: one a few months after that. So okay, that's happening.
- 25:58Speaker 3: So there's I there's I have really no choice as
- 26:02Speaker 3: a decent human being than to say I hope that
- 26:05Speaker 3: goes well, and I hope that's healthy and great, and
- 26:08Speaker 3: you know, et cetera, et cetera. But then I had
- 26:11Speaker 3: to do it. I had to do it. I said, okay,
- 26:14Speaker 3: And he weighed in on surrogacy and on the issue,
- 26:16Speaker 3: and I said, okay. He got a couple of extra
- 26:18Speaker 3: minutes because you know what we got to do here,
- 26:20Speaker 3: right He said, yes, I know, because he was as
- 26:23Speaker 3: a listener, what would you say to the people listening
- 26:28Speaker 3: right now who are saying that what you guys have
- 26:33Speaker 3: done is you have intentionally created babies intentionally who are
- 26:39Speaker 3: destined to have no mother, And he said, well, we
- 26:46Speaker 3: thought about that, and we have a lot of you know,
- 26:49Speaker 3: women we are close to and they're going to be
- 26:51Speaker 3: in a like a god parent kind of situation. And
- 26:54Speaker 3: I know which is not the same. And it's not
- 26:55Speaker 3: like you was saying that it was the same. It
- 26:57Speaker 3: was just just a sweet dude, good guy listener, took
- 27:02Speaker 3: my questions the hard ones along with easy ones. It
- 27:05Speaker 3: was a really pretty great but if you want to
- 27:06Speaker 3: go back to the eight am podcast six sixty am,
- 27:09Speaker 3: he answered dot com podcast Mark Davis Boom, you can
- 27:12Speaker 3: hear the whole thing, but so is multiple things true
- 27:14Speaker 3: at the same time. Glad to have the call, Wish
- 27:17Speaker 3: him well, prayers for healthy kids. But no, no, this
- 27:22Speaker 3: just no, get no, he can't have No. Every every
- 27:26Speaker 3: baby deserves a mother. Mike, Am I wrong? Is that
- 27:29Speaker 3: a line I should not draw? I don't know that
- 27:31Speaker 3: it's a I don't know there's a right or wrong.
- 27:33Speaker 3: You're entitled to believe that, and I you know, it
- 27:36Speaker 3: sounds to me like he's a good guy that is
- 27:39Speaker 3: going to make sure that there are women in his
- 27:41Speaker 3: life and there's a presence but like you said, it's
- 27:43Speaker 3: not the same as a mother and a father. I
- 27:45Speaker 3: think ideally we want to we want a mother and
- 27:48Speaker 3: a father and two point five kids and a white
- 27:51Speaker 3: in a house with a white picket fence, and life
- 27:53Speaker 3: just doesn't work that way.
- 27:54Speaker 2: And there's there's a lot of people, you know. I
- 27:58Speaker 2: have always sort of grappled and struggled with issues like
- 28:02Speaker 2: this because of the people in my life who I
- 28:07Speaker 2: happened to be very close to, including my first boss
- 28:11Speaker 2: one hundred years ago in radio, and he heard me
- 28:14Speaker 2: do a topic on my audition tape when he was
- 28:17Speaker 2: going to hire me, and it was about I think
- 28:21Speaker 2: it might have been an issue kind of close to this,
- 28:24Speaker 2: and he wasn't sure where I stood on that, and
- 28:27Speaker 2: he took me out to a restaurant and he introduced
- 28:30Speaker 2: me to his partner and he said, I want you
- 28:34Speaker 2: to know, and this is like again, this is forty
- 28:36Speaker 2: forty years ago, whatever it was, and he said, I
- 28:40Speaker 2: just want you to know. I don't ever care what
- 28:42Speaker 2: you say on the air. I'm never going to tell
- 28:44Speaker 2: you what to say, what to think. I just want
- 28:46Speaker 2: to make sure that you meet my partner, Bill, because
- 28:49Speaker 2: I want to make sure you're not uncomfortable working for me,
- 28:52Speaker 2: And he said, now understand that I'm not saying this
- 28:55Speaker 2: in any way, shape or form to influence your beliefs.
- 28:59Speaker 2: And this man, who has since passed away, became one
- 29:02Speaker 2: of the most important people in my life. He was
- 29:05Speaker 2: a mentor. He was a good and wonderful guy. He
- 29:10Speaker 2: loved his community, he loved America, he served in Vietnam,
- 29:15Speaker 2: and happened to be one of the finest people I knew.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I have a very hard time listening to the way
- 29:23Speaker 2: people sling around an antagonistic view toward the LGBT community.
- 29:29Speaker 2: And I'm not you know, look, I'm a Bible believing Christian.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I'm not trying to cast dispersions on somebody who has
- 29:37Speaker 2: a biblical opposition. It's just not I know a number
- 29:42Speaker 2: of couples, two men, two women who have raised wonderful
- 29:46Speaker 2: kids together, and those kids are happy and healthy and
- 29:49Speaker 2: frankly a lot more, a lot better, their heads are
- 29:52Speaker 2: a lot screwed on, better than my kids are. And
- 29:55Speaker 2: the guess what, that kid, who's now maybe twenty five
- 29:59Speaker 2: thirty years old and a lawyer somewhere and living and
- 30:01Speaker 2: as a great member of society, had two moms or
- 30:04Speaker 2: two dads, so I you know, I know I'll get
- 30:07Speaker 2: some of that.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Four it was that an adoption or did they do
- 30:10Speaker 3: the same.
- 30:10Speaker 2: One was a surrogacy, and one was an adoption. I
- 30:13Speaker 2: know that you have an adoption. You got the kids
- 30:14Speaker 2: there already, and we can talk, We can talk no
- 30:17Speaker 2: matter what. But no, I get it, And I'm not
- 30:20Speaker 2: a national creation of life. That seems like an extra
- 30:23Speaker 2: bridged But isn't life just beautiful no matter what the
- 30:26Speaker 2: reasoning is behind the creation. Let's let's go farther. How
- 30:30Speaker 2: about how about a baby that is brought into the
- 30:32Speaker 2: world as a product of rape? How about a baby
- 30:35Speaker 2: that that a woman is raped and then is confronted
- 30:37Speaker 2: with does she abort the baby? It's not the baby's fault.
- 30:41Speaker 2: It's it's not the unborn child's fault. And that's what
- 30:44Speaker 2: that's what's so fascinating to me about. You know, we
- 30:47Speaker 2: can go down these paths and before you know it,
- 30:50Speaker 2: we are we are down a rabbit hole that says,
- 30:52Speaker 2: how do we look? Because do you know the conventional
- 30:55Speaker 2: wisdom is abortion should be should be outlawed except in
- 31:00Speaker 2: the cases of rape and incest. You hear that over
- 31:03Speaker 2: and over and again. And I'm all idiocy. You've always
- 31:06Speaker 2: said that, and I've always admired your consistency on that mark.
- 31:09Speaker 3: And it's easy for me to say and then I
- 31:11Speaker 3: and then I catch all kinds of holy you know what,
- 31:13Speaker 3: you know you'll never go through this. That's absolutely true,
- 31:17Speaker 3: by my own admission. But life is either unborn. Life
- 31:22Speaker 3: is either sacred or it's not.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:26Speaker 3: If it's not any and if you have the rape
- 31:28Speaker 3: and incest exception, then it's not sacred, is it. There
- 31:32Speaker 3: are situations where even if it's not sacred, it's not sacred,
- 31:36Speaker 3: and you can get an abortion because you just don't
- 31:37Speaker 3: want a third kid, or you know you're busy, or
- 31:39Speaker 3: you don't have enough money.
- 31:41Speaker 2: So is an unborn life okay?
- 31:43Speaker 3: If that if that human life is sacred, then the
- 31:48Speaker 3: circumstances of its creation make no difference.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Which we've just contradicted what you said about surrogacy to
- 31:55Speaker 2: a gay couple because that baby Wait a minute, if
- 31:58Speaker 2: that baby is that right, is that baby any less
- 32:01Speaker 2: sacred if a surrogate mother being brought into the world
- 32:05Speaker 2: to two men or two women, is that baby any
- 32:07Speaker 2: less sacred than that a straight couple who brings a
- 32:10Speaker 2: baby into the world.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Huge difference because with the surrogacy, it begins where there
- 32:15Speaker 3: is no baby, and everybody says, hey, let's make a baby,
- 32:19Speaker 3: not through the normal situation of a married man and woman,
- 32:22Speaker 3: but let's make a baby with surrogacy. For a gay couple.
- 32:24Speaker 3: It is an intent from square one, the creation of
- 32:27Speaker 3: a child with the intent that it be motherless.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Is that baby any less sacred? Mark, Well, you're you're
- 32:34Speaker 2: wrong on this, You're it is. It is a very
- 32:36Speaker 2: good equivalence the product of a rape, the product of
- 32:39Speaker 2: a decision.
- 32:39Speaker 3: You bring a surrogate baby. What with with a rape
- 32:45Speaker 3: a baby has been created. The question then becomes.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Why, But that baby is that baby? But that baby
- 32:50Speaker 2: is sacred, and that baby is every bit of sacred
- 32:53Speaker 2: as as a baby born to a surrogate mom to
- 32:56Speaker 2: a gay couple. The sacredness of the baby is not
- 32:58Speaker 2: at issue in the game. Issue. Amen, If thats not
- 33:01Speaker 2: at all, The gayacy issue is it does your child
- 33:04Speaker 2: have it? And life matters? Which is why I'm over
- 33:09Speaker 2: the moon. That preborn is part of the podcast every
- 33:12Speaker 2: day because brilliant segue. This is a way they're a
- 33:15Speaker 2: master that you can support life by providing ultrasounds to
- 33:19Speaker 2: girls and women. You know, when a young woman sees
- 33:22Speaker 2: her baby and she hears that baby's heartbeat, it is
- 33:25Speaker 2: a game changer. In fact, statistically we know that it
- 33:28Speaker 2: doubles the chance that she's going to choose life. One
- 33:31Speaker 2: hundred and forty dollars will help give five mothers a
- 33:34Speaker 2: free ultrasound and save babies. Two hundred and eighty dollars
- 33:37Speaker 2: helps save ten babies. And Mark You and I love
- 33:40Speaker 2: talking about the big Kahuna with Preborn because there's a
- 33:44Speaker 2: lot of people who have been blessed in life. There
- 33:47Speaker 2: might just be a way to give an ultrasound machine
- 33:49Speaker 2: itself right that will save lives.
- 33:51Speaker 3: It goes fifteen thousand dollars. Is is not pocket change,
- 33:55Speaker 3: but some people have it. And if you're walking around
- 33:57Speaker 3: leaving a leading a blessed life and this cause means something,
- 34:00Speaker 3: and you got fifteen thousand, you can spend on some
- 34:02Speaker 3: special piece of art or maybe some you know, classic car,
- 34:05Speaker 3: but you think, oh wait a minute, maybe how about
- 34:06Speaker 3: if I crank out an ultrasound machine. These good people
- 34:10Speaker 3: at Preborn. Fifteen thousand dollars gift provides an ultrasound machine
- 34:13Speaker 3: that'll save lives for years to come at eight three
- 34:16Speaker 3: three eight five Oh Baby eight three three eight five
- 34:19Speaker 3: zero baby, or go to preborn dot com slash MM
- 34:22Speaker 3: extra And no matter what you want to do, say
- 34:24Speaker 3: one baby or hundreds, or do the whole ultrasound eight
- 34:27Speaker 3: three three eight five zero baby, or go to preborn
- 34:30Speaker 3: dot com slash M M extra.
- 34:33Speaker 2: And we're so grateful not only to the audience for
- 34:36Speaker 2: embracing our advertisers, but of course to the new advertisers
- 34:40Speaker 2: to M and M extra. Look, we want this thing
- 34:41Speaker 2: to be a success. And one way that we keep
- 34:43Speaker 2: the engine running the fuel in the engine as it
- 34:47Speaker 2: comes from our advertisers. And you need fuel, the right
- 34:50Speaker 2: kind of fuel. You need protein. You don't need a
- 34:52Speaker 2: lot of carbs, you don't need a lot of sugar.
- 34:54Speaker 2: You need PhD weight loss. It comes to a point
- 34:57Speaker 2: in your life where the workouts don't hit quite the
- 34:59Speaker 2: same even and eating less stops moving the scale. Happened
- 35:02Speaker 2: with me, It's happened my whole life until I learned
- 35:04Speaker 2: about doctor Ashley Lucas and her brilliant program called PhD

- 35:23Speaker 2: fifty pounds this past six months or so, I got
- 35:26Speaker 2: sloppy and lazy and stupid, and I was eating everything
- 35:29Speaker 2: that wasn't bolted down, and I put on some weight.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I thought I needed to lose about ten Well, look
- 35:34Speaker 2: at me now, nearly thirty pounds less in about five
- 35:38Speaker 2: or six weeks. It's Mark, It's crazy. It really does work,

- 35:50Speaker 2: Make that phone call. Mention Mike and Mark. We're going
- 35:53Speaker 2: to add two free weeks to the PhDe weight loss

- 36:00Speaker 2: sixty four six four four nineteen hundred eight six four
- 36:04Speaker 2: six four four nineteen hundred or visit myphdeweightloss dot com
- 36:08Speaker 2: myphdweightloss dot Com. My friend Mark Davis can I can
- 36:12Speaker 2: we kind of wrap up today by me getting very
- 36:14Speaker 2: personal with you. I got emotional yesterday. I was so
- 36:19Speaker 2: proud of you. I didn't know you were going to
- 36:21Speaker 2: be on Will Caine's show on Fox News. They are
- 36:24Speaker 2: so smart to use you regularly. Will of course is
- 36:27Speaker 2: based in downtown Dallas, not a far drive for you
- 36:30Speaker 2: to go, and of course you're you're being spirited by
- 36:33Speaker 2: bodyguards and they they get chauffeurs and they bring the
- 36:37Speaker 2: chariots to bring the valet. The valet drives the chariot
- 36:40Speaker 2: and comes and gets you. But I from watching you
- 36:44Speaker 2: on Fox News and watching our pal Joey Hudson on
- 36:47Speaker 2: a local TV station last night in South Carolina. He
- 36:50Speaker 2: was analyzing the South Carolina primary which came which turned
- 36:53Speaker 2: out just the way with you and I thought it
- 36:54Speaker 2: would go. Darlene Graham and Ralph Norman. I was just
- 36:58Speaker 2: overwhelmed with such pride for the two of you. You know,
- 37:01Speaker 2: it's it's actually a lot of fun to do these
- 37:04Speaker 2: TV hits. I did them for years. I decided I
- 37:07Speaker 2: wanted to just focus on Salem and my radio show
- 37:10Speaker 2: and now my podcast and now Salem News Channel. But
- 37:13Speaker 2: but I know how how gratifying it is to do
- 37:16Speaker 2: those hits. They're hard to do. You know, you got
- 37:19Speaker 2: You're on that set for three, four, five, maybe six
- 37:21Speaker 2: minutes if you're lucky at a time. You got to
- 37:23Speaker 2: make those words count and mark you. Every time I
- 37:27Speaker 2: watch you do these TV hits, whether it's on Fox
- 37:29Speaker 2: News or News Nation, You're just so good and so
- 37:33Speaker 2: relaxed and so eloquent and articulate, and I just swelled
- 37:38Speaker 2: up with pride. Yesterday I'm watching that. I'm sitting there,
- 37:40Speaker 2: didn't even know you were going to be there. And
- 37:42Speaker 2: there's there's Mark right right at the top of the show.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Another day, there you are. Yeah, they got you again
- 37:47Speaker 2: and bravo again you were You were magnificent in talking
- 37:51Speaker 2: about the DSA threat in America. The Comis and the
- 37:54Speaker 2: socialists that are taking over the Democrats. Will obviously really
- 37:59Speaker 2: really spects you and likes you, and I just wanted
- 38:02Speaker 2: to get that off my chest. I'm so very proud
- 38:04Speaker 2: of you to to be your friend and to be
- 38:07Speaker 2: your podcast partner, because it's just it's just wonderful to
- 38:11Speaker 2: see a powerful voice like that elevated at a place
- 38:15Speaker 2: that everybody's watching, the number one rated cable news network
- 38:18Speaker 2: in in America, Fox News Channel. So kudos to you.
- 38:21Speaker 2: And I didn't say that off the air, but I
- 38:23Speaker 2: wanted to say it, all.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Wow, well, can you warn a brother that that's coming.
- 38:27Speaker 3: I just I'm I'm just kind of gobsmacked with with
- 38:30Speaker 3: joy and appreciation. I thank you enormously, it said, because
- 38:35Speaker 3: for those who don't know, Mike was a Fox News contributor,
- 38:38Speaker 3: meaning the things that they go down and do every
- 38:39Speaker 3: once in a while. They thought enough of him to
- 38:42Speaker 3: throw him some bucks to be on the retainer to
- 38:44Speaker 3: come do that, and he did it with skill and
- 38:46Speaker 3: grace and precision for just years and years until what
- 38:49Speaker 3: we referred to as the milkshake heads and milkshake and
- 38:52Speaker 3: wait and listen. And he should have warned, he should
- 38:54Speaker 3: have warned this like a chocolate shake and a badge
- 38:56Speaker 3: of honor, because Wade was vanilla. That's why Steve White
- 39:00Speaker 3: Stephen Miller so hated because he's that good. Why did
- 39:03Speaker 3: somebody dump a milkshake on you? Because you're that good
- 39:06Speaker 3: on Fox News? And it was Fox News's loss when
- 39:09Speaker 3: you decided, I think I'm about done with this, So
- 39:11Speaker 3: I just well, I mean, we're wonderful yful veda South Carolina.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Just tomorrow fifteen other things in the news having invoked
- 39:21Speaker 3: South Carolina. Can I ask you one final Darlene question
- 39:24Speaker 3: to kind of tie bow around what happened in South Carolina.
- 39:28Speaker 3: We touched on this a little on eminem radio version.
- 39:31Speaker 3: She has thirteen days. She and Ralph Norman thirteen days
- 39:34Speaker 3: Mano Almano rage in the cage. Here we go because
- 39:37Speaker 3: the runoff is on the twenty fifth. She up till
- 39:41Speaker 3: now has been very demure sort of and pardon the
- 39:44Speaker 3: way this sounds, and the grieving sister and lots of
- 39:48Speaker 3: to attract the and that sounds like it's calculated. And
- 39:50Speaker 3: I don't mean it too, because I really like her.
- 39:52Speaker 3: She's a neat lady and a woman of substance. I
- 39:55Speaker 3: think that's kind of has to change. I think this
- 39:58Speaker 3: is it's time. I think he's going to be coming
- 40:00Speaker 3: after her in some very delicate and measured ways, kind
- 40:04Speaker 3: of like, hey, Darlene, we love you, but six years
- 40:06Speaker 3: we don't know anything about you. I think she's going
- 40:09Speaker 3: to need to come back at him. And I told
- 40:11Speaker 3: you this morning that I don't know how that's going
- 40:14Speaker 3: to go. Patrick's Vtec who works for CN and now
- 40:18Speaker 3: he work for Texas Tribune. He's covering all the midterms.
- 40:21Speaker 3: He has a quote from her that I wanted to
- 40:23Speaker 3: give to you, and I really want because you know
- 40:25Speaker 3: this state, you know these people, and I just want
- 40:28Speaker 3: to see how this strikes you. Quote from Darlene There's
- 40:32Speaker 3: a big distinction between myself and Ralph Norman. I'm a conservative,
- 40:38Speaker 3: I have conservative values. I'm willing to work hard for
- 40:42Speaker 3: the people. I'm willing to earn their votes. And yeah,
- 40:45Speaker 3: we'll see other differences as the weeks go on.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, if her approach is to question his
- 40:54Speaker 2: conservative bona fides, that's going to be a stretch. I
- 40:57Speaker 2: don't know where that now. On the other hand, I
- 41:00Speaker 2: mean he's got one thing that they can hang around
- 41:04Speaker 2: his neck, and that is his endorsement of Nicky Haley
- 41:07Speaker 2: for president over Donald Trump. Okay, when when I mean
- 41:11Speaker 2: in six sixty Yeah, yeah, when when they were first
- 41:15Speaker 2: all kind of gathering and they were they were we
- 41:17Speaker 2: were starting to put a field together of Republican nominees.
- 41:21Speaker 2: He endorsed Nicky Haley.
- 41:23Speaker 3: I mean when it was just started, Okay, all right, yeah,
- 41:26Speaker 3: that's well and okay, that's probably what she's referring to.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Mark I may maybe, but that's number one, ancient history,
- 41:34Speaker 3: Lindsay hat didn't hate Trump scuts. Let's find stuff. Lindsey
- 41:38Speaker 3: was saying at that exact same time, Let's find stuff.
- 41:40Speaker 2: JB.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Vance was saying at that exact same time, peeriod grow
- 41:44Speaker 3: and Lindsay's one and tip, thank you ran against him.
- 41:49Speaker 3: So got that ancient history thing, also, Nicky Haley fellow
- 41:52Speaker 3: South Carolinian. And if you got fifteen people going in
- 41:57Speaker 3: and obviously if he had a journey to come around
- 42:00Speaker 3: to Trump, which he obviously has, and she's going to
- 42:03Speaker 3: try to dredge up old ancient clips.
- 42:05Speaker 2: I think that's going to fail. Yeah, but you but
- 42:08Speaker 2: as a political in the in the guise of political warfare,
- 42:12Speaker 2: you got to go after what is perceived to be
- 42:14Speaker 2: your political opponent's vulnerability. But that vulnerability does anybody Haley
- 42:21Speaker 2: come on of course years ago? Well but he did.
- 42:25Speaker 2: And so that's what she's got. I mean, that's what
- 42:27Speaker 2: I'm I'm agreeing with you that it's not but it's
- 42:30Speaker 2: not like it won't work. I mean it probably you know, well,
- 42:33Speaker 2: it might some people. I mean, but that look, I
- 42:35Speaker 2: hear that criticism about here once in a while. Look,
- 42:37Speaker 2: I'm going to make a prediction thirteen days before the
- 42:41Speaker 2: outcome of the selection. No, I think, Mike, do not.
- 42:44Speaker 2: I think slightly here. I think. I think she wins.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I think Darlene Graham nordone is going to win out.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think it's I don't think it's
- 42:51Speaker 2: going to be that close. I think she's gonna win out.
- 42:54Speaker 3: Okay, now, okay, okay, okay, okay, because she got thirty
- 42:57Speaker 3: two thirty three, right, yep, and and Ralph got high twenties,
- 43:02Speaker 3: and then he.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Got twenty four, he got twenty four point three.
- 43:05Speaker 3: In twenties, and then Russell Frye got twenties or nineteen
- 43:09Speaker 3: point seven. Mark Sandford go ahead eighteen point three. So
- 43:14Speaker 3: you look at so Russell Frye and Mark Sandford represent
- 43:20Speaker 3: thirty six percent, right, and you think that these people
- 43:23Speaker 3: who voted for them, thus not wanting Darlene, are going
- 43:27Speaker 3: to all of a sudden develop an affinity for Darlene.
- 43:29Speaker 3: They're not all of a sudden. They already have an
- 43:31Speaker 3: affinity because of where their districts are represented where Russell
- 43:35Speaker 3: Frye and Mark Sandford, who's in the low country. Look,
- 43:38Speaker 3: Darlene did very well in the low Country, even in
- 43:41Speaker 3: Mark Sandford's own district. And the conventional wisdom here, the
- 43:45Speaker 3: thinking is that she'll pull, she'll pry or peel off
- 43:49Speaker 3: more Mark Sandford and Russell fry voters than Ralph will
- 43:53Speaker 3: and if she does, she wins. So then that's math
- 43:57Speaker 3: at work, so to the theory being to understand it.
- 43:59Speaker 3: The Russell fry Mark Sandford voter, if I had a
- 44:02Speaker 3: room full of them, Darlene was there very close second choice,
- 44:06Speaker 3: and now that she's that, they're going to just instantly
- 44:08Speaker 3: pivot to them. That is certainly a way could go.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I viewed this perhaps on wisely we'll find out, because
- 44:13Speaker 3: I'm going I'm going to disagree with you, and we'll
- 44:16Speaker 3: we'll just see what happens. And that is that I
- 44:19Speaker 3: called it kind of a referendum on Darlene. Thirty three
- 44:21Speaker 3: percent of the voters wantitor, sixty seven percent did not.
- 44:25Speaker 3: That doesn't mean they're else's going to win sixty seven
- 44:27Speaker 3: to thirty three, But even if it's you know, half
- 44:30Speaker 3: of that, it's fifty five forty five, and that's probably
- 44:34Speaker 3: what I think is going to happen. But hey, what
- 44:36Speaker 3: do I know.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Well, look, you're the guy that said that they could
- 44:39Speaker 2: never push Biden out of the presidency. You're that I said,
- 44:42Speaker 2: yes they can, Yes they can. Look, I put I
- 44:45Speaker 2: put Joey, my other or other buddy on the spot today.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Joey Hudson was on the show this morning, and boy
- 44:51Speaker 2: did I push back on him. And I got to
- 44:53Speaker 2: give you threadit. He's quick. Here's what he said. He
- 44:55Speaker 2: said on air. Look, one thing's for certain, they're both
- 44:59Speaker 2: good candidates. Both Darlene Graham Nordone and Ralph Norman are
- 45:05Speaker 2: both good candidates. Well, I couldn't help myself now. He's
- 45:08Speaker 2: one of my dearest friends in the world. Of course,
- 45:10Speaker 2: I said, Joey, I love you. We've been through a
- 45:12Speaker 2: lot of highs and lows together over the last thirty
- 45:15Speaker 2: five years or so that i've known him. How do
- 45:17Speaker 2: you know she's a good candidate? What are you making
- 45:20Speaker 2: that on? And he and he acknowledged that she doesn't
- 45:24Speaker 2: have a political track record, that there's no record really
- 45:28Speaker 2: to go by. He said, did you vote for Donald
- 45:30Speaker 2: Trump in twenty sixteen? I said, I did. He said,
- 45:33Speaker 2: what legislative experience did he have? What political track record
- 45:37Speaker 2: did Trump possess? And I have to give him credit.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Pretty good, but pretty good. But that's a pretty good retort.
- 45:43Speaker 3: He's right, Well, okay, I love Joey too, but no,
- 45:45Speaker 3: And here's why why. Because Donald Trump was in our
- 45:49Speaker 3: lives for thirty years. We totally knew what he was.
- 45:52Speaker 3: We told you what he stood for. He was interviewed
- 45:54Speaker 3: by a million people. Nobody knew Darlene Graham, you know,
- 45:59Speaker 3: anybody until troms or two.
- 46:01Speaker 2: But Trump wasn't known for the political ideology that he eventually,
- 46:06Speaker 2: you know, very known quantity that we loved. So they
- 46:11Speaker 2: ran the Apprentice. I mean what known quantity? Real estate
- 46:14Speaker 2: was old mogul. He'd been on Donna Heale, he'd been
- 46:17Speaker 2: on Oprah. Here, well, we didn't know. We didn't know
- 46:20Speaker 2: about the border or about the mask up. We knew. Yeah,
- 46:24Speaker 2: I guess, well, we know that she's his little sister.
- 46:26Speaker 3: So we'll see, we'll know that Mike Gallagher is predicting
- 46:30Speaker 3: not just her win, but by a comfortable margin. Thirteen
- 46:35Speaker 3: days podcast is Forever, Mike. Two weeks from today, well,
- 46:39Speaker 3: one of us will have to go whoops, and it
- 46:42Speaker 3: might and it might be me, probably will be me.
- 46:43Speaker 2: And I like my chances. We're gonna see I like
- 46:48Speaker 2: our chances for another eminem kind words. You know what
- 46:51Speaker 2: I mean. You don't have to do that. I just
- 46:52Speaker 2: know I want to just love you, love everybody. I
- 46:54Speaker 2: was gonna I was gonna call you that last night
- 46:56Speaker 2: and time on. Now do it. Let me do it
- 46:58Speaker 2: on the podcast. That will be funny to watch it.
- 47:00Speaker 2: You got it, you got it. Check it out. Tell
- 47:02Speaker 2: your friends have a great Wednesday. Let's do it again tomorrow.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Love you,
