Speaker B: With attitudes. Hello everyone, and welcome to the first episode of Azeroth With Attitude. My name is 8bit Dylan.
• 0:15
Speaker A: And my name is Art. Hi everyone.
• 0:19
Speaker B: And we are two, let's just say, talented individuals who are so good at World of Warcraft. You're going to gag every. All of our gameplay. Professional mama.
• 0:33
Speaker A: Robot of Warcraft players, in fact.
• 0:35
Speaker B: Yeah, they write legends about us. No, we are, let's just say, not the straightest World of Warcraft streamers out there. And we hope that when you are listening in, you get that, those cozy vibes. You get those like, those good feelings of just like playing World of Warcraft with your friends. Because, baby, if you're listening, we're now besties, period.
• 1:04
Speaker A: Exactly that. That's the vibe. Love that.
• 1:08
Speaker B: So, Art, I am so excited to be doing this with you because I truly gag when I see your, like, short form content and your streams. You are so stupid and funny.
• 1:26
Speaker A: Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am, I am in fact very stupid. No, it's been, it's been honestly such a. Such a good time. Like, oops, sorry. It's been a really good time. I've started doing this about a year ago and I honestly never thought that I would find this community so quickly. I genuinely was like, okay, I can't be the only one that is like this, playing World of Warcraft. And in fact, I'm not the only one. I've actually found so many people like you, for example, and I'm very, very happy I started this. It's been very fun.
• 1:57
Speaker B: Yeah, it's been fascinating to like, see your, your growth and prominence within like the World of Warcraft space. Like you said, you've only been doing this for like a year, so. Girl, you're eating. I'm sorry.
• 2:12
  Speaker A: Thank you.
• 2:13
Speaker B: And I, I, it's. For me, I feel like an old grandpa in the space because I've been making content online. Not of World of Warcraft, but I've been making content online for 12 years of mama.
• 2:29
  Speaker A: The mother.
• 2:30
Speaker B: The mother. No, I am, I am truly like that old, nasty, rotted, like, orc sitting in the back of the tavern. And you're like, oh, she always comes here. She just gets a drink and she just kind of sits in the corner. That's me. And that's how I feel.
• 2:53
Speaker A: But like one of the. You're like those older gay that like, sits at the bar and tells everyone's stories and everyone's like, yeah, right, right, right. Yeah, right, right, right, right. Okay, okay. Dad. Yeah, Wait, I actually. How Old are you? I don't know.
• 3:08
  Speaker B: We're not. We're not. I am 34. I turn 35 next year.
• 3:13
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 3:14
Speaker B: And how old are you are?
• 3:17
Speaker A: I'm turning 30 in February. So we're not that far.
• 3:20
Speaker B: We're not. We're not that far off.
• 3:21
Speaker A: I feel like once you're past the age of, like, 26, girl, it doesn't matter anymore. All the same.
• 3:27
Speaker B: It really doesn't. Like, we're all terminally depressed and just rolling through life hoping for the best.
• 3:33
Speaker A: Yeah. Especially if you're a homosexual.
• 3:36
Speaker B: Oh, my God. Yeah. Yeah, TT on that. But I'm so excited that we've, like, put our boobs together and this was produced because we. I don't know if y' all know this. And no shade to any other podcasts that are out there on the World of Warcraft space. They tend to lean very heterosexual and very, like. Let's talk about, like, the nitty gritty of every single patch note and we're gonna talk about, like, X, Y, Z and why it impacts, like, according to.
• 4:07
Speaker A: My calculations, bluff decay is about to get an 8%. Okay, girl, we get it.
• 4:11
Speaker B: Like, girl, we get it.
• 4:13
  Speaker A: We gotta.
• 4:13
Speaker B: We gotta click your buttons and kill the thing. Um, I. I'm just so excited because, like, this is us putting our stamp in what we would love to see in the World of Warcraft space. We truly are bringing the attitude to Azeroth, period.
• 4:30
Speaker A: Get into it. Get into it.
• 4:32
Speaker B: It's either get on the wyvern and we're going to fly, or get on the griffin. Whatever you're into. And let's. Let's fly around.
• 4:39
  Speaker A: Exactly.
• 4:42
Speaker B: So I want to know. I think for a first episode, it just like, kind of makes sense to kind of talk about, like, why World of Warcraft? Why are we playing this game? Did you grow up with it? Like, what's your origin story with something like this? I'm curious. Yeah. For you.
• 4:59
  Speaker A: Should I start?
• 5:00
Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I think you should.
• 5:01
Speaker A: Okay, sure. All right. So I've told this dream. I've told this, like, story probably like a million times on stream. And I always try to think, like, I don't want to, like, leave out the details, but I also don't want to bore you with like a too long story, but basically.
• 5:13
  Speaker B: Please.
• 5:14
Speaker A: I. For the first time I ever got in contact with World of Warcraft, it was around the end of Wrath of the Lich King. I was probably like 12 years old. I'm not exactly sure, but I remember I was in junior high school I remember that very well. And I was in Chemix class, and there was these two, like, nerdy boys that I wasn't really friends with, and they were sitting in front of me, and I always would love to, like, eavesdrop on their conversation. They would be talking about, like, magical swords, dragons, armor, like. Like. Like, I don't know, witchcraft, and, like, crazy. And I was like, what are they talking about? I was so intrigued because I was always kind of, like, secretly a nerd, but way too shy to, like, tell anyone. And then I, like, once asked them, and they were like. They were. They, like. They, like, looked at me like. They were like, why are you talking to us? And I was just like, I was wondering, what are you guys talking about? And then they told me about World of Warcraft, and I instantly, like, went home and tried to download it on my mom's laptop. I managed to do it and I played and I loved it. I had, like, the best time. But my mom's laptop was, like, so bad. It would. It would heat up so badly, it would literally leave, like, burn marks on my thighs. So I would be, like, sitting there with my mom's laptop in my thighs, like, playing World of Warcraft, moving with a touchpad. By the way, no math.
• 6:30
Speaker B: And she was struggling.
• 6:32
Speaker A: I had. But I had that time of my life. It was incredible. And then my mom obviously wouldn't let me play World of Warcraft on her laptop anymore. And I also didn't have a PC, so then I stopped. Unfortunately, I never even got to max level. And then I. During, like. Right, I think like a year or two before COVID I saw randomly on my YouTube a video of this creator called Hazelnutty Games. Love her, by the way.
• 6:58
  Speaker B: Shout out.
• 6:59
Speaker A: And she. And she. Shout out. And she was showing how she's unlocking Void Elves. And when I realized that that's World of Warcraft, first of all, my mind was blown because I have a completely different World of Warcraft in my head. And then I saw that they're part of the alliance and I was Gagarina boots. I was like, I've always wanted to be alliance, but I always wanted to be an elf. I'm obsessed with elves. Yeah. So I then, instead of, like, I was like, I have to try this now. Like, I can be an alliance elf. So I download the game. I had no idea what I was doing. I was. I was playing it on my shitty, like, laptop from uni. Like a. Like a MacBook. I don't know if I don't know if anyone plays wow on a MacBook, it does work, but it's not great. And I downloaded and I played it and ever. And I've never stopped ever since. And I started in bfa, which is a crazy expansion to start playing with it is. That is the best time? Yeah. Yeah. I had the best time and I never stopped. And now I'm creating content about it.
• 7:53
  Speaker B: So.
• 7:53
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 7:54
Speaker B: My question to you is, what did night elves do to you for you to hate them?
• 8:02
Speaker A: I love. I know. Listen. I love the night elves. I love their culture. I love their lore. I'm actually obsessed with them. But I couldn't be a warlock.
• 8:11
Speaker B: Oh, t. Yeah, that would.
• 8:13
Speaker A: Right? That would be. Right.
• 8:15
Speaker B: That would be crazy. I would love to see a night. Like, what would a night elf warlock look like?
• 8:21
Speaker A: Well, they're already in the game. They added it like a year ago.
• 8:23
Speaker B: Did they? Oh, see that? I don't play night elves, so I wouldn't. I didn't know.
• 8:28
Speaker A: We did, like, a crazy questline where we went like, Darkmoon Faire and somehow tried to justify why all of a sudden lightforged Draenei and like, night elves.
• 8:36
Speaker B: Oh, girl, don't even get me started. It's the. So silly.
• 8:40
Speaker A: More accuracy. Is not. Not. Not in the room with us. But it's fine. Like, I can be. You can be a night elf warlock. Now I'm not, though. And what I also. But I. What I did not. Like, I really wanted to play a male night elf character, but. But why are their faces so sour, girl? Why are they all like. Like, I was just like, why are they not. Like, they're not giving me face card. They're not giving me the fantasy which Heronnier will do now anyway. But that's a different story.
• 9:05
  Speaker B: No, that's tea.
• 9:07
Speaker A: Yeah, but it's a very good question.
• 9:09
Speaker B: No, I fully agree with you on male night elves. They get the short end of the stick so fiercely. Their faces are not it. Their animations are horrendous.
• 9:23
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 9:23
Speaker B: When you compare, like, the male night elf animation to all other male, like, casting animations and whatnot, they look like. They're like they have a migraine. They're like, literally, it's giving.
• 9:35
Speaker A: It's like fashion headache, you know, it's.
• 9:36
Speaker B: Like, oh, I'm serving. And it's like, you're not.
• 9:40
Speaker A: But. But then you have blood elves doing the whole, like, you know, ha, ha. They're giving drama. They're giving theater. And that's what I want it. And now I have it. Do I Play a Void Elf now. I don't.
• 9:53
Speaker B: Okay. I, I'm the same way though, because I, I'm a Void elf. I'm sorry, I'm gonna say I'm a Void elf hater. I think they're so hot. I think they're so hot. They're so sexy. But I, and I love the concept of allied races. I actually am probably one of the few proponents where I'm like, I love when Blizzard started doing this because I was like, yeah, they're like allied. They have their own culture, their own, like, back background. But for most of the alliance races during bfa, when they were adding allied races, girl, I was like, okay, so the Horde's getting like, Zandalari Trolls, daddies. They're getting like, Nightborne, like, easily. In my opinion, one of the best, like, allied races in the game.
• 10:48
Speaker A: I've, I, I made a clip, I made an entire clip about this where I'm just talking about the face card that we are being served with female, like, Nightborne.
• 10:56
  Speaker B: Yes.
• 10:56
Speaker A: They are the most gorgeous, like, race in the game, in my opinion. Like, heron here. Have some heaven. Bring some competition. But yeah, right. Sorry for interrupting.
• 11:05
Speaker B: No, no, you're fine. I, I, I really do feel that. But then the alliance, we're getting like Kol tierans, mechanomes, Lightforged Draenei. And then they were like, okay, we gotta give them something. Let's give them something that it doesn't really make sense in the lore. Void Elves. Yeah, they've been there the whole time.
• 11:25
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 11:26
Speaker B: And they've got their own, like, culture. It's like, whatever. So I was like, I get it. But I thought it was silly.
• 11:33
Speaker A: It is. It is a little. Yeah, I get it, I get it. I think they should have just given us High Elves.
• 11:39
  Speaker B: Yes.
• 11:40
Speaker A: That would have made so much more sense.
• 11:42
  Speaker B: I agree.
• 11:43
Speaker A: But yeah, it's maybe, maybe one day with Kul Tiran, I actually first I kind of was like, okay, what? Okay. But then when I learned that they actually had to recreate, like, completely create a new skeleton and new animations just for cool Tiran and I basically, like, kind of broke the game because, remember, you have to like, adjust like a million transmogs to them and stuff, that kind of blew my mind because when you think about it, Zandalari trolls use the skull of skeleton of night elves. So that was easier to do. And once you figure out that the Blizzard uses skeletons, you just realize, like, oh, this is really cool, this new thing. But then you, like, look at it. And you're like, it actually is using a skeleton from something old, so it's much easier to do.
• 12:26
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 12:26
Speaker A: With Kul Tiran, it actually was, like, the biggest challenge to introduce them, so that kind of, like, grew my appreciation for them. Them.
• 12:31
Speaker B: And. And to be fair, I do like the culture of the cult herean. Like, I. I think, like, they, like. I am sadly, one of the biggest BFA defenders. I. I loved that expansion.
• 12:47
Speaker A: I. Sorry. I love BFA Girl.
• 12:51
  Speaker B: I feel that.
• 12:53
Speaker A: No, I love bfa. I. I am an absolute BFA defender. And probably also because I just started, and it feels like home to me. Like, BFA technically, when you think about it, is my classic.
• 13:05
Speaker B: And I live for that.
• 13:06
Speaker A: That's my game, you know, And I love that. I loved it so much.
• 13:11
Speaker B: I could go on and on. We. We could talk your ear off. We'll come back to this, because I think. I think we need to have, like, a court case of why we should defend bfa, because I think it gets. It gets.
• 13:23
Speaker A: I feel like that could be an entire episode.
• 13:25
Speaker B: It could be an entire episode.
• 13:27
Speaker A: So we should get into your origin story.
• 13:29
Speaker B: Yes. So for me, I. So my origin is I grew up very poor, so I mostly got whatever games I could get at the time. Usually it was anything that was on a discount or I played with a lot of action figures growing up. And for me, I would never tell.
• 13:50
  Speaker A: By your background.
• 13:52
Speaker B: Yeah, it's just like, you know, I don't even read. I don't even know how to read. No, I'm just kidding. What? For those that are listening, audio only. I have an entire wall, comic books behind me. You know, it's just. It's just a silly little obsession of mine.
• 14:07
  Speaker A: I love it.
• 14:09
Speaker B: And I discovered MMORPGs, I think, around the time that there was a game called Star Wars Galaxies that came out. And I remember specifically, I don't know why. This is a core memory for me going into Toys R Us, finding this.
• 14:34
Speaker A: Box R us in the U.S. yeah, we did.
• 14:37
Speaker B: And there was a boxed copy of Star Wars Galaxies, and I asked my mom if I could get it. It was on sale, so I bought it. And I didn't know that you had to pay for a subscription in order to play the game. So I put it in my computer, and it could barely run. And my mom said, oh, we can't pay for this. Like, this is a monthly subscription thing. So I never got to play it. But that led me down a rabbit hole of looking into, oh, my God, there's games that are like these online worlds that you pay money for and you can just like talk with people. So at some point I had convinced my mom that I could try World of Warcraft for one month. So I think this may have been around the Burning Crusade. And I remember making a night elf and walking around in the world and I don't think I ever left Teldrassil. I don't think I ever left like the main starting zone because I had no idea what I was doing. But I somehow had grind. I. I was killing so many mobs and was just kind of like having fun being in Teldrassil that I managed to like get a ton of gold. Like I had it. Depression girl.
• 16:09
Speaker A: The diva of Teldrassil. The.
• 16:11
Speaker B: The diva of Teldrassil. So after a month I. We couldn't keep paying for the game so I knew that I would need to get rid of the game. And I, I had all these, all this gold and I had some items. So another fun fact about me is I love reality shows. So what I did was I hosted a competition in Teldrasil.
• 16:41
Speaker A: I love you people. I love people.
• 16:44
Speaker B: I. I host make this Gay. Literally. I said, homos, get in line. We're about to compete for some mother tucking gold. And I held a competition in Teldrassil and there was all these like new people to the game and I was like, I'm about to give you like five gold. It's going to gag you.
• 17:08
Speaker A: And gold back then must have meant a lot though.
• 17:10
Speaker B: I, maybe I can't remember. It might have been more than five, it might have been less, I don't know. But it was a substantial amount of gold and rich. I hosted trivia questions back and forth with these people. And then a global moderator popped in to the game because I found out it's against the rules to host competitions within World of Warcraft. Yeah, gag that. So you are not allowed to give away in game items for a competition that you are hosting.
• 17:44
  Speaker A: Okay, plot twist.
• 17:45
Speaker B: So I begged and pleaded with this global moderator and I was like, please, please, please. I swear to God, I have the gold. I will literally give you the gold if you give it to the winner. I can't keep playing this game because I can't keep paying for it. And the global moderator don't know his, his or her name. They let me break the rules and host this little turn, like this little competition. And so I gave, I gave away all the gold and I uninstalled the game and then never played it again until I was A full time content creator at the time. And Legion had just come out and I told myself, I was like, okay, I have a little bit of money now. I have always wanted to get into World of Warcraft. This is going to be my time. I'm going to pay for a subscription. I'm going to play this game on stream. It's going to be great. And I had the most fun playing Legion, but my audience hated the game.
• 18:55
  Speaker A: No. Yeah.
• 18:57
Speaker B: And the reason being is for a background on me. I. My main bread and butter games were the Sims and Minecraft. So World of Warcraft was kind of a tough pill for a lot of my audience to swallow. So World of Warcraft. I know. And so World of Warcraft became this like love of a game that I would play off stream and I never really got the chance to like really make content around it. So years later, now it's 2025. I don't do content full time. I have a full time job. And I said, you know what? I want to start making content in a game that I genuinely enjoy playing. And I don't give a who who watches. Like, and my audience, they've been loving it. They've been, they, they are now getting into playing World of Warcraft. Some of them have never played before. I was like, yeah, girl, it's good. You just got to get into it.
• 19:55
Speaker A: Honestly, I feel like it's funny you say that because I've always wondered like if I really, for example, want to make it big in content creation and streaming, am I really going to be able to do that with World of Warcraft? And then I would also sometimes try to like, you know, play like the popular games, you know, that are like big on Twitch. But when you're not genuinely having fun. Fun, yeah, your audience is gonna catch on to that. So like, if I'm gonna like, if I would force myself to not create content of like Fortnite, it would be miserable because I don't love the game. So I think that, I think that's a great attitude to have. Like, yes, you are attitude by the way, if you want, if you like World of Warcraft, the content is ultimately like the, your love for the game is going to translate into the content and like the quality of it. So like, I think you're on the right path.
• 20:39
Speaker B: Yeah, I, I've genuinely loved the game. I've played every single expansion post Legion. I've even gone back and played. I've tried to do classic. I'm just not a classic girly.
• 20:51
  Speaker A: Me neither.
• 20:51
Speaker B: Babes, I listen if you're, I'm sorry to break it to you, audience, if you are listening in and you are expecting World of Warcraft classic. Goodness, this is just not the place.
• 21:04
Speaker A: Babe, babe, this is not a safe space. I'm joking. It's a safe space for everyone. But you get what I mean. No, like I've, I dabbled with classic because I wanted to feel that nostalgia, but I guess I just don't feel nostalgic about constantly pressing frost ball to kill one mob. Like, I'm sorry, it's just not the vibe.
• 21:20
  Speaker B: It's so true.
• 21:21
Speaker A: And yeah, I, I hardcore was kind of cool. Like I made like a hardcore character. Her name was Bella Hadid. It was like my beginning stream time. She was gorgeous, she was fierce. She left Tessale and then she took off her shoes, she put on her PJs and she's like forever going to stay in Dark Shore now. Like she never died, you know, like, so she's, she, she's living, she's living a good life now.
• 21:39
  Speaker B: She retired.
• 21:40
Speaker A: Touching that again. Yeah.
• 21:42
Speaker B: I think for me to get a little bit into the classic of it all, I, I. So it's funny because like, technically I was playing classic esque back in the day with the Burning Crusade and I do remember now I didn't stay in Tildra. I did eventually go to Dark Shore because I do remember being a druid and getting my walrus form. So I must have.
• 22:09
Speaker A: I don't know why that sounds so funny.
• 22:11
Speaker B: And so I, I was that big aquatic ant mammal for the ones that know.
• 22:18
  Speaker A: Wall breast diva.
• 22:19
Speaker B: Yeah, for the ones that know, they know. And I had a blast.
• 22:24
Speaker A: But anyway, let me ask you a question here though. Did you gag because like that moment when you fly off Teldrassil, my first stone was also Teldrassil, by the way.
• 22:32
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 22:32
Speaker A: When you fly off Teldrassil, did you gag when you realize it's an actual tree, like you inside of a tree?
• 22:38
  Speaker B: Yes.
• 22:38
Speaker A: That blew my mind. Until this day. That blows my mind.
• 22:42
Speaker B: Well, it can't blow your mind anymore because Teldrassil is not there.
• 22:45
Speaker A: Yeah, she literally blew up that. She's gone. Yeah, she's gone. I'm salty about that.
• 22:50
Speaker B: But yeah, no, I, I thought it was really, really sickening and the, basically the, the, I remember like the joy of like the leveling experience back then. So I tried, I've tried numerous times to really get into classic. Wow. And I think for me, I love the world building that you get from a lot of the quests. A lot of the, the environmental storytelling that is done in Classic. Wow. We still get that in retail.
• 23:26
  Speaker A: Wow.
• 23:27
Speaker B: But I feel like there's like, you're hit over the head with story in retail. Wow. That you don't really take time to like, sit and just enjoy the environment that you're kind of existing.
• 23:35
Speaker A: You're always rushing. And even if you try to not rush, you just ultimately keep rushing.
• 23:39
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 23:40
Speaker A: Just. It's not the same vibe anymore.
• 23:42
Speaker B: And so I tried getting into it and it just didn't click for me. I tried hardcore. It didn't really click. I tried Seasons of Discovery. I thought it was a cool concept. It didn't click. And then I joined a guild and that helped quite a bit because it allowed me to, like, vent my frustrations with Classic because I was like, diva. Why is it taking me so long to get to this next level? Like, I've got. I feel like I've done like 15 quests and I've seen no progress. And they're like, well, it's because you have to like, grind out these mobs in this area in order to get enough, like. And it was really helpful. Shout out to Goof Troop. That. That's the guild that I was in.
• 24:30
  Speaker A: Goof Group. Yeah.
• 24:31
Speaker B: Yeah. They're very sweet. They're very sweet. And I, I, I think I would revisit a Classic attempt again, but I would need it to be like a Seasons of Discovery. Like, I need like something new because I've, I know the story of wow now and that's what keeps me going. So I need something that's gonna, like, spice it up a little bit.
• 24:53
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But so, like, and I mean, I kind of agree, like, if they would have done like a, you know how people talk about wow. Plus, have you ever heard about that?
• 25:01
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 25:02
Speaker A: Like, that's never been confirmed by Blizzard, but people are always speculating, like, where are they going to take Classic, you know, because, like, are we really going to go into Wallets of Drainer Classic? Because that would be, that would be. That would be insane. Like, are we really doing that? And then there's, there's been talks of, like, apparently you can transfer your Classic character into retail, which retail people are salty about, because there's, there's cosmetics you can get in Classic you can't get now. Right?
• 25:23
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 25:24
Speaker A: So people would have to like, do play Classic just so they can later have something in retail. But then also, like, what. What do we do with these people? I am happy that they added Classic I do feel like it brought Blizzard, like more people and made the game more popular again. And I think it's great. And I'm really happy that like, you know, scratches the itch for so many people. I just don't think I'm going to be the one. I'm kind of like you, like, if they would make a new one which goes into like new parts of the world or has like a new story, I would be totally down to play it. But yeah, like this, I'm just like. It just feels a little pointless for me because like, like, where is this going? You know?
• 25:58
Speaker B: Yeah, I think for me, World of Warcraft has grown enough and has enough of a player base that and the storyline lends itself to alternate realities and alternate dimensions. It is very, very easy, I think, for there to be a classic plus with its own storyline and its own kind of for sure progression systems. And if they wanted to like, you know, build upon what they've built in classic, they can easily do that. This is such a random transition, but I also am such a defender of Plunderstorm.
• 26:39
  Speaker A: Ew.
• 26:40
Speaker B: I know, it's. Listen, listen, listen. I got my life with that first season of Plunderstorm because for me, for me, it was basically a way for me to be able to stream World of Warcraft to my audience. Because it was like this battle royale that was like not. You're not leveling up a specific person for like a long form play. You're just like diving in, playing around or two and like getting out and trying to win. So it was such a great transition to like what I was playing on Twitch, to diving more into making World of Warcraft content because I was like, I love this game. I need a reason to play this game. Like, I was like telling myself like, oh my God, my audience won't watch. And then they started watching when I was playing Plunderstorm. So for me, it's got like a special place in my heart. Huh.
• 27:46
Speaker A: Great. I mean, I love that for you. No, I, I did not. I was not gagging for Thunderstorm at all. I was like, so this is it. Like we're in this arena where everything looks the same and like, huh? And then they brought it back and it was the exact same thing. I was just like, I'm not gagging. I still did it because I'm a collector and I need everything to be collected 100%. So I was suffering through it, but I genuinely hated it. I was like, no, yeah, for me, for me.
• 28:14
  Speaker B: But I'm happy.
• 28:15
Speaker A: See, I'm always happy when they bring stuff that makes other people happy. I'm not someone that's like, oh, oh, delete this. Like, one of my craft is Fortnite. Like, I'm not, like, if it. If other people are having fun with it, I'm happy for them. It's not for me. So I was like, yeah, and that.
• 28:30
Speaker B: It's very much like, why are they bringing housing into my World of Warcraft? This is not Sims Warcraft now. Yeah, this ain't World of Warcraft. No, I agree. Season 2 of Plunderstorm was not it. And I was so mad when I saw those rewards and I was like, oh, they're just recolors.
• 28:50
Speaker A: Oh, like that. Like what?
• 28:52
Speaker B: Oh, it was so.
• 28:54
Speaker A: Didn't it come around, like, Halloween or something? I don't know. Just. There's so many maps ready for you in World of Warcraft. Why? I mean, I'm not a dev. I don't know, but, like, just. Just chase that. Switch it up, diva.
• 29:05
  Speaker B: I don't know, truly.
• 29:07
Speaker A: You already literally have battleground maps in the game.
• 29:10
Speaker B: It was also crazy to me. Sorry to get on such a tangent. I swear we'll. I swear we'll get back on track.
• 29:16
  Speaker A: Sure.
• 29:16
Speaker B: But it's. But it was also like, one of those things where it was like, why do you. Why are you requiring people to need a subscription to try this one game mode? Because, like, when I put my marketing hat on, I'm like, it would make the most sense for anyone free to play to be able to try this game, to earn rewards, to then convince them, hey, you can now use these rewards in the game if you pay for a subscription anyway.
• 29:47
Speaker A: That's actually so smart. Well, you ate that. No, that's. That's so true. Especially because, like, I do feel like they're. They're trying to attract, like, a younger audience to World of Warcraft.
• 29:56
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 29:56
Speaker A: And I think that that would have been a great way actually, like, a perfect gateway to be like, oh, here's your, like, brainwashed Fortnite game. And then, oh, you want to play, like. And here's, like, cool, like, rewards, like, you can be a fox or whatever and like, oh, do you want to now play World of Warcraft? I do feel like it would at least make people curious about it.
• 30:14
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 30:14
Speaker A: Whenever I talk about World of Warcraft or, like, people will come into my stream and they're like. They're just. They're like, this game looks so good. I thought it would. I thought it's like 20 years old and I'm like, yeah, it is 20 years old, but I feel like there's still this mindset out there with a lot of people that know World of Warcraft, but still imagine it to be like a classic version of it. Yeah, they don't understand how much World of Warcraft evolved. I mean, I didn't understand it when I came back. When Void Elves came out, I was so gagged by Boralus, by Zandalar, by this whole like selection of things. And it was just like so gagged how much the game has evolved. And I feel like a lot of people don't know that.
• 30:53
Speaker B: No, I completely agree. I think when you. I think the popular media around World of Warcraft obviously paints it as this like very nerdy, very silly, like, oh, only like the most like dorkiest, nerdiest people play World of Warcraft and I'm like, that's not the people that I talk to at least that play World of Warcraft. I was like some of the hottest, sexiest, like most like sickening individuals you will ever meet play World of Warcraft.
• 31:27
Speaker A: Like, yeah, like us, like us.
• 31:32
Speaker B: And every viewer that's ever listening to this right now. You are also the hottest, sexiest, most scandalous, scandalous World of Warcraft, especially if.
• 31:40
Speaker A: You like and subscribe. You're so hot.
• 31:46
Speaker B: I. Okay, so before we get into, I think like the big meat and potatoes that we want to talk about is like midnight pre patch. Getting into like the origins of it all. I would like to know like what is your main race class combo that you typically play in World of Warcraft? And question, like what, like why? Why do you like that class so much?
• 32:12
Speaker A: Yeah, okay, so I always gravitate like a lot of other homosexuals to like mage, like a magey magic based class. Right. So I came to World of Warcraft and was like, I already know what I want to play. I want to get into the fantasy of being a witch, a warlock, that that's what I need to play. I started the game and then I realized way I can't be a void elf immediately, I have to unlock them. You had to grind out reputation, play through Legion, play through Argus and get to Exalted. Which was a huge grind for somebody that just came back to the game, just started the game. We were already in BFA by the way. So I then was like, okay, I guess I'll just make a night elf because it has to be a lance character and make a mage because that's like the closest it gets to warlock. I played that Mage. And I was like. I actually kind of like this because I played Arcane. And I was like, oh, my God, it's so purpley and sparkly. It's so cute. I love it. And I played through that, obviously, getting to that stage where I unlocked Void Elves. I played so much mage that at this point I was like, do I really want to swap now? It feels really fun. Like, I've. I got used to it. I did actually then swap because I just felt like, no, hate to mage players, but I just feel like it's just cooler to be a warlock. There's a lot of mages out there, but for some reason there's not a lot of warlocks. And Warlock is just so tea. It's so like, you know, I feel like, like, Warlock is like the cool. You know how there's, like, a popular girl in every movie?
• 33:51
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 33:51
Speaker A: Like the main. Like the main character that everyone and kind of ends up hating. I feel like that's Mage.
• 33:56
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 33:56
Speaker A: And the cool, like, friend, you know, like the B character is always the one that everyone actually loves because she's, like, funny and quirky, while the main character is like, you know, like, main energy. And I feel like that's Warlock in World of Warcraft Universe. So then I managed to actually swap to Warlock, and I've never sought back again. I am obsessed with this class and my race, by the way, is blood elf. Obviously. Obviously. These are my girls. I'm obsessed with their lore. I'm obsessed with how sassy they are. They're kind of arrogant, but also a little quirky because obviously I think they're just so well written. And I love their lore. Like, I love. Like, I know I'm Cecil Savannahs, and technically she isn't a blood elf anymore. She's forsaken. But everything around them is just so gay. And it is like when you. When you play through the starting zone, there's, like, this one quest, which is someone's, like, hosting a party and then someone's complaining about, like, the drinks being weird. I'm like, this is so, like, gay coded. I love it. So definitely always going to be a blood elf and warlock. I am now. Lately, I've been a little, like, frustrated with Warlock because just I feel like the fantasy has leaned so much into Demon and Fel. And I wish it would be a little more, like, witchy and more about, like, you know, having an actual patron, you know, like a DND fantasy. You know, I wish it would be more. I wish it would go more into that Direction and away from all like the demons and the fellow. I understand that it makes sense in the Warcraft universe, but I would just love for it to be like, you know, Drustvar in vfa. The witches.
• 35:31
  Speaker B: Yes.
• 35:32
Speaker A: I'm not going to that direction. You know, I feel like give us a new spec that is truly like witchy and like sacrifice y and you know, like that vibe. But yeah, that's. I'm definitely a warlock blood elf. To give you a short answer.
• 35:46
Speaker B: No, you. You hit the nail on the head. I'm going to go on a very, very slight tangent. I go off queen. This is. This is me. I'm holding the protest sign in a crop top outside of Blizzard hq and I'm saying we fully deserve a witch class in the game because.
• 36:06
  Speaker A: Absolutely.
• 36:07
Speaker B: There is so much magic that is so unexplored in World of Warcraft. We need like, I would love. Here's the specializations for a witch. We need blood.
• 36:16
Speaker A: Okay. She has a full concept.
• 36:18
Speaker B: Okay, baby, Baby. We need the like a Drustvar witch. Like, you know, like I'm thinking like the totems, like kind of like a shaman, but it's like hexes and like all this kind of stuff. There's also blood magic in the game and it's like it already exists. It already exists. You could easily make a blood magic witch or something along those lines and.
• 36:38
Speaker A: It could be even like a bit of a healer, you know.
• 36:40
  Speaker B: Yep.
• 36:41
Speaker A: Like blood transfusion and stuff.
• 36:42
Speaker B: Yeah. And then the third is there's absolutely. I guess we kind of got this with a death knight, but there's like necromancy that has like never really been given its like, dues as just like a magic class. So it'd be really cool to have like a necromancy witch. And yeah, you like, make minions. I guess we kind of got that with a death knight. But I. I just want like a witch so bad.
• 37:12
Speaker A: Like, same. Oh, I 100% agree with you. I went into warlock thinking that's what it's going to be like. And then once I like and I feel like it used to be Morda but now the same way Shadow Priest used to be like vampy.
• 37:25
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 37:25
Speaker A: Kind of empiric. And now it's all about old gods, which I don't mind. I think it's really cool. But I do kind of wish that we would return. Like now that they've done that, they've started adding like new specs to already existing classes. Like we're getting the Voids Demon Hunter. We got like A new spec for the dragony guys. What are they called again? Yeah. Why? Like that opens up the possibility of so many specs being added. Because I do in my head I'm not a type again, but in my head, in my little gay brain, I feel like maybe it's easier to just add a spec instead of a whole new class, you know?
• 38:00
  Speaker B: Totally. Yeah.
• 38:01
Speaker A: And it opens up so because we have these archetypes already, you know, the priest, mage, like the warrior. We have these big archetypes. Let's now go crazy. The specs.
• 38:12
Speaker B: I would love that. I am fully of the belief and this is very controversial. I would love every single class to have a tank and healing spec of some caliber. Just. I just think it'd be fun and I feel like it, it makes sense. So like right now like in Legion Remix, when you are like trying to find a dungeon or a raid, it's just so much easier to queue as a healer and or a tank. And it makes me dread wanting to play as a DPS in Legion Remix because I'm like, okay, it's going to take me like 19 minutes to get into a dungeon or a raid to not do anything in there because people are just going to run through it like it's nothing and instantly kill everything.
• 39:00
Speaker A: Absolutely. Yeah, I agree with you.
• 39:02
Speaker B: Anyway, my favorite race class combo, so my main race that I love and will always hold dear is the undead. Love the Forsaken.
• 39:13
  Speaker A: Forsaken.
• 39:14
Speaker B: Just. They are. I'm sorry, they are corn mama that.
• 39:20
Speaker A: Waste the waves existence like literally nonexistent.
• 39:24
Speaker B: I just love their lore. I love that they are like kind of like the black sheep of the World of Warcraft family. They are the Alliance. Don't really care for them. The Horde also does. Like they are kind of okay with them being there.
• 39:43
Speaker A: But the first misunderstood.
• 39:45
Speaker B: They are misunderstood. Exactly. I also love that there are some undead that are like badasses. Like Alonsis Fowl who is like this like high priest. Like he's like one of the archbishops, like high end undead. But then you'll also have these like nasty skeevy like undead that are just like eating humans still like in the undercity. I don't know, I just love like they're giving you layers.
• 40:15
Speaker A: Yeah. So Lillian Voss. Sorry. Oh, Lillian Voss. Shout out to my lesbian queen. I don't know if she's a lesbian.
• 40:23
  Speaker B: But she's a lesbian. She's a lesbian. Down.
• 40:25
Speaker A: Shout out to her like her lore. Breathtaking, Incredible. Love her.
• 40:30
Speaker B: I love her so much and I'm going to need Blizzard to like get. Let's get, let's get the story together on these undead because now that Sylvanas isn't in the picture, they've just kind of relegated them to a council.
• 40:43
Speaker A: And I'm like, Noel, I'm so sorry, Diva. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. But I'm not gagging.
• 40:53
Speaker B: I'm not gagging either.
• 40:55
Speaker A: This is your moment, so I need to shut up.
• 40:56
Speaker B: No, it's. No, please, because I'm not gagging. I'm so glad you said it because I was. They were like, oh look, she's like kind of like a light forged undead. Oh my. I'm gagging. And I'm like, no, I want my undead to not be light forged. I'm okay with that.
• 41:12
Speaker A: She looks like she's. Yeah, yeah, I fully agree. Sorry.
• 41:14
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 41:17
Speaker A: Anyway, I have opinions. I just feel like she looks like someone that should be on like Azeroth's Housewives and not the leader of the Forsaken. I'm sorry, she's just not, she's just not giving me that like ruggedness that like, you know, she's not been. Maybe she did. I don't know her lore, but like she just doesn't have that like, like Sylvanas's like whole point of the Forsaken was like, you know, giving people that are misunderstood and you know, been rejected their whole life at home. I just don't think that she brings that energy to the Forsaken. But yeah, I agree.
• 41:50
Speaker B: No, you're fine. You're fine. So my main is mostly undead and like you, I played mage in Legion. But I, I would not say. I know gay. I wouldn't say that. I enjoy mage though. But it's like one of those things that's like, I'm like, well, I've already played through like three expansions as an undead mage. I might as well play through all of them as an undead mage. And I was always a fire mage.
• 42:18
  Speaker A: Female.
• 42:19
Speaker B: A female down that they have some of the best. It's so fierce. So as I. I played through the War within as an undead fire mage. And I have in my opinion, fallen out of love with mage. I. Something controversial. I think Blizzard has forgotten what has made Mage fun. And for me, I want to know. I just think that like the fantasy is missing from like a magic wielder. So like for me, if I'm a fire mage, there is nothing fun about waiting for a proc. To maybe happen. Like, I want the fantasy of like lighting the, like the battleground on fire and like lighting my enemies on fire and like really like living in the flames and feeling like a badass. And right now Fire Mage feels like, okay, I'm going to hit you with this and I'm going to hope that I'm like firing up and I'm building up the flame. I'm like, no, I want to be like instantly lighting people on fire and like feel like a badass from the start. Same with, I think like Arcane Mage. I think right now Arcane Mage is fun, but I wanna, I wanna feel like I'm like overloaded with power. Like, I like. And it's like flying out of my body. I'm just like brimming with all this power. Same with like Frost Mage. I think Frost Mage looks the best visually because yeah, all of the animations and spells make you feel like it's.
• 44:11
Speaker A: Cold and they're like, I love Frost Mage. Yeah, so much.
• 44:16
Speaker B: I just want the fantasy back. And yeah, we'll get into like the midnight of it all. But I, from what I have heard, they are dumbing down mages even more.
• 44:26
Speaker A: Don't get me started.
• 44:28
Speaker B: And that makes me very sad.
• 44:31
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 44:32
Speaker B: Because I was like, this is the one class that does not need to be dumbed down. It actually needs to be like uplifted.
• 44:39
Speaker A: I fully agree with you. I played Frost Mage for the first time for a full season because I really want. I played, I play a lot of end game and I've always played Warlock. I played a little bit of Hunter. I played Discipline Priest, but my origin class Mage. I've never actually given a chance in proper endgame content. I feel like once you play endgame, you really start to understand the small, minimal things about a class that make them so special. And I've never given Mage that chance. So I tried this season and I had honestly a great time. I also not realized I'm going back to Warlock. However, I still had such a good time playing Frost Mage. I felt like there was a million spells flying around me. I truly felt so powerful and felt so fluid. And now they've like gutted it. It's just completely different. You have like, I kid you not, you have like three buttons. I mean, I, I did only go to a target dummy and there's like pressed stuff. Like I have no idea what I'm doing. But it just genuinely. I don't see how this is going to be like my. The first page I was playing is gone. I'm not trying to be Like a Dooms. Dooms like person. But it's just like, I really, really hope that we're gonna get good feedback. I trust the WOW community and I do trust that the mage community is gonna, like, you know, uproar if they don't like it. But yeah, I, I fully agree with you. They should have opted, in fact, and not, like, dumbed it down.
• 45:59
Speaker B: Yeah, Like, I, I'm. I'm of the camp. Like, it makes sense to like, maybe take away some of the spells, but because it is a lot when you're, like, kind of new to wow. Which I. I do have to give the wow team credit. They are making the game so newcomer friendly, which I think is what the game desperately needed. Especially, especially retail wow. Like, retail WOW is in desperate need of something like that. And I can't even imagine, like, where you start on tutorializing, like, how to play World of Warcraft to someone that's never picked up an mmorpg. But yeah, I, I also want us to like, not forget that this is a fantasy. Fantasy game and you should feel like an overpowered fantasy character, like, running through the world.
• 46:45
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 46:46
Speaker B: Okay. So, yeah, that's. That's my main combo. But I want to get into real quick before we have to wrap episode one. World of Warcraft Midnight. It is on the horizon. It is coming next year. I'm so excited.
• 47:05
  Speaker A: Me too.
• 47:06
Speaker B: And recently there was like the introductory patch that's kind of leading. It's the transitionary patch that takes us from War within to Midnight. So I'm curious your thoughts. We both played it. I streamed it yesterday. And you also played it throughout the week. What are your thoughts on it?
• 47:27
Speaker A: So much. It is actually insane. There's this. There's this thing about being an adult where it's like your excitement for things just kind of like grows less and less and less the older you get. Yeah, I feel like it's harder to entertain us the older we get. I don't know. And we always long for that, like, old school nostalgia where you get a new game and you literally can't let it go. It's all you think about, it's all you want to do. And I truly feel like this patch has done this for me. I am obsessed with World of Warcraft. It is mainly housing. I will say it's mainly housing. But I'm genuinely like, World of Warcraft players are eating good right now.
• 48:08
  Speaker B: Oh, we are.
• 48:09
Speaker A: It's just. There's so much fun. There's so much, like, fun stuff to be excited about. In the future. It's just. It's incredible. Midnight in general, when they did the whole announcement, you know when they did like when they announced the trilogy. Yeah. I was so gagged. I was like, are they really doing this? Like a part of me was a little sad because I love the excitement for every new expansion where we just don't know what's coming in two years. Now we know what's coming for the next like four years.
• 48:37
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 48:37
Speaker A: But I actually think it was great like when, when they announced the War within and Midnight. I was already excited for Midnight and the Last Titan even. Even though it's going to take six years for it to come out, like roughly six years, I think it's about bit shorter. But I'm genuinely so incredibly excited about Midnight. I. When they. So I'm someone that tries to avoid spoilers as much as possible. I don't. I like, I will scroll through wowhead really like vaguely to avoid like story spoilers. And someone, I remember someone like messaged me, oh, did you see the new trailer for the new patch? I was like, no, I didn't. So like I watched it and I wish I watched it on stream because genuinely I was so gagged with. When they started off with Sylvanas, I was like, huh? What? Well, they, they did already tease that she's. That she's going to come back. So we knew that. But I thought there's no way that I thought it's going to take ages. I thought like maybe you know, very last patch of midnight or like a little like teaser. But she was just there like in this, in this trailer. I was like. And. And she was singing that like lamentation, I think it was called Lament of the Highborne.
• 49:43
Speaker B: She was giving us Ariana Grande.
• 49:45
Speaker A: I was like, oh my God, it's mother. Like she's here. And I was so incredibly excited. And I did an early stream. I woke up, started streaming at 10am, which I've never done before. And I played for like eight hours. I couldn't let the game go. Like I instantly did the. Did the campaign and I went in and Sylvanas was like bossing me around like she wasn't being nice. And I was like, honestly, work, like, yes, give it to me. I don't think that she should be nice. Like she shouldn't. She shouldn't be like, I. People always expect someone that's like someone that did something bad and is now like, I guess trying to like, you know, get better again that they have to all of a sudden. Be a nice person. I'm like, no, this is who she is. She's like riddled with trauma and horrible experience. She. She will never be a warm and kind person. And I think that's okay. And I think that's great character writing. Anyway, I was just. I'm obsessed with it. I'm so excited. It. It amped up my hype for midnight like 10 times. I'm just. I'm so impressed with how much they. They still provide in this game after such a long time of the game already existing. Like it's over 20 years now and they managed to recreate exactly excitement on such a big scale with Midnight. I'm genuinely just so impressed. I'm so excited.
• 51:07
Speaker B: Oh my God. I was right there with you. I went into this fully unspoiled, did not watch any trailers. And I played through the campaign yesterday and I was gagged. Like, I knew that Sylvanas would show up. And I am always going to be a Sylvanas apologist. She did no wrong. Like, yes, Queen burnt down Teldrassil. But you know, she had to have a gaggy moment. And you know I support women's wrongs and rights.
• 51:41
  Speaker A: Agreed.
• 51:41
Speaker B: And so for me, I. And people are like, oh, they're ruining her character. They're ruining her. Ruining her character. But for me, good character writing requires peaks and valleys. And for her, she can't just be a one note evil character all the time. There has to be like layers to who she is as a person. So what I really appreciated in this quest line, when you go down to the mall, much like you said, she. She regrets what she did. She understands, like, she's paying attendance for what she's done.
• 52:20
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 52:20
Speaker B: But she's also like, I have a job to do. And what you're not going to do is come down here and get in the way of me doing my damn job. And I'm not going to. You don't earn any respect from me. Yeah. Like, I think the coolest takeaway from all of this was Eritre. Basically, spoiler alert. If you've never played, go play it. Eritor being like, hey, we need a Windrunner. You need to leave them all and like save the world or save Silver Moon. And she's like, basically like, honey, you're a Windrunner.
• 53:00
Speaker A: You go do it, Runner. I don't know. That gave me goosebumps because I was.
• 53:04
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 53:05
Speaker A: Oh my God. So good. Yeah. The writing in general was so well done because, like, people expected to go down there. And her being like yeah, you know, like, she's all soft now, but when, like, she was. She was, like, interacting with these souls and some of the souls didn't want her help.
• 53:19
  Speaker B: Sickening.
• 53:20
Speaker A: That was so good. I'm like, yes, of course. Like, I would rather take this torment than be helped by you. Yeah, that was great. I loved that.
• 53:28
Speaker B: I also was living for, like, one of the first souls that you go to save is clearly like, a Tauren who was part of the Horde. And she is lying to this tan, pretending to be the warchief still of the Horde to make him feel better. And Aurora is like, wow, I didn't realize, like, you had all this sympathy. And she's like, oh, no. I was just telling him what he needed to hear in order to move on. And I was like, period. I live.
• 53:56
Speaker A: No, that. That was so well done. But did you. The gaggiest gag, though? I don't. And so little people noticed.
• 54:02
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 54:03
Speaker A: Did you. When you were talking to Sylvanas at the very end, she lets you stay, remember? And, yeah, Eritrea goes off, you stay around with her behind, like, the wall. Was Nathanos stalking us?
• 54:15
Speaker B: Yes, I clocked that T. And I said it. I said it on stream. She's like, oh, yeah, there's a soul that keeps following me around. And I was like, that's definitely Nathanos that, like.
• 54:25
Speaker A: But he's literally in the game. If you. If you go around, he's there, like, crouched, staring at her. Just like. It's just like an Easter egg that so many people didn't realize. I didn't realize that because we instantly, like, we're focused on Savannah's because obviously. And then you, like, go through the portal, but if you stop and go around, you can literally catch him. Like, he's behind, like, his actual character staring at her. Yeah, like, hiding, obviously.
• 54:49
  Speaker B: That's gaggy.
• 54:50
Speaker A: I love that so many people didn't know that.
• 54:52
  Speaker B: I didn't notice that.
• 54:53
  Speaker A: I didn't know either. I was. I was told by.
• 54:56
  Speaker B: By.
• 54:56
Speaker A: By my child. But I was like, what?
• 54:58
Speaker B: That's sick thing. Because I thought the. Because she briefly mentions, like, oh, there's a soul that keeps, like, lingering around. Because Eritor is like, oh, what is that soul? And she's like, oh, it just keeps following me around. And I was like, oh, is that Nathanos? Like, and then to learn that he's still like, oh, that's so sickening.
• 55:15
  Speaker A: Simp of simps.
• 55:16
Speaker B: Yes, super simp. I thought, like, overall it was really good. I've also been reading this, like, Blood Ties book Which is like, kind of the lead in to Midnight and my fear. And this is a fear that I had with War Within. I just don't care for Illyria as a character. Same with Turalyon. I just don't, like, clock it. The Clockett. I'm sorry, girl. I just find Illyria to be at least, like, where she was in the story at that point. Very one note. It was like, I love my husband, and I will fight against the demons. And that was kind of, like all her character was. And I think War within did a good job of, like, showing there's more to her. Like, she's dealing with a lot. So I got on the Illyria train. I was like, okay, cool. But I still don't care for Turalyon as a character. Like, and this book is kind of getting me together. It's making me, like, okay, I see. Basically, this is, like, marriage counseling the book.
• 56:22
  Speaker A: I heard. Yeah.
• 56:23
Speaker B: Because Illyria and Turalyon's marriage is, like, on the rocks. It's, like, not great. And because they've been in war mode the entire time.
• 56:33
Speaker A: Wait, but I thought they never got married.
• 56:34
Speaker B: They. Sorry. They've never gotten married. That's true. And that's, like, a huge plot point in the book, is like, they've never been married, and people keep assuming they're married. And Illyria's like, where do we go from here? Like, we just don't know how to love each other. What are we? What are we? And on. On a similar note, I don't really care for Eritor because I don't know him that well as a character. We haven't really seen a lot of him in World of Warcraft outside of, like, certain scenes here and there.
• 57:07
Speaker A: I don't care for his hairstyle.
• 57:08
Speaker B: I cannot stand his look in the game.
• 57:14
Speaker A: Like, huh? What? What is that, honey? What is that?
• 57:18
  Speaker B: What is.
• 57:18
Speaker A: Let's get you a hairdresser, babe.
• 57:20
Speaker B: Yeah, and he's got, like. I think it's like the. The black braid and then the white braid over here. Like, he's got, like.
• 57:27
  Speaker A: It's like.
• 57:28
Speaker B: It's weird, but this book is really. Made me like Eritor as a character. And the. The quest line where he's, like, trying to talk to all the Windrunner sisters was also cool. I was like, okay. I like this arc that they're giving Irator where he's like, I am a Windrunner. I have to be the person that has to step in to save Silver Moon. But I have to say something very important in this book. I really hope they make him gay or bi or something because there is a character. There's a moment in this book I'm only like 60 pages into it and there is an illidari. For those who don't know, an Illidari is an elf that basically consumes a fell soul to become a demon hunter. And there's an illidari intrigued Ilid named Cain. Sun Fury in the game or not in the game in the book. And Turalyn is basically like, you know, he doesn't fuck with any of that demon shit. And so he's like, why is my son friends with this illidari? And there's like subtle hints in the book where they're like, how are you good friends with this illidari? And it's like never mentioned, like how they're really good friends and Erador Eritrea. Yeah, he's just basically like, yeah, we're just like. I'm really close to him. Like we're like good friends. Like good Judy's. And I'm like, oh, they're. They're. They're screwing around.
• 59:11
Speaker A: I would. I would love to. I would love that.
• 59:15
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 59:16
Speaker A: That would be so fierce.
• 59:17
Speaker B: And in my head canon it make like. Like the storyline makes sense because imagine like you're Illyria and Turalyon who have been fighting demons for thousands of years and then your son is banging an.
• 59:30
Speaker A: Elf that is so.
• 59:31
Speaker B: Has consumed a demon soul that is so fierce.
• 59:36
Speaker A: And I feel like also, if not gay, make him bisexual.
• 59:40
  Speaker B: Bisexual.
• 59:40
Speaker A: Literally the combination of void and light the most like con. Like Illyria and Tyrell can't even touch each other right. Because like they're so opposite.
• 59:50
Speaker B: They can it. Yeah, no, they. They definitely do. They did.
• 59:54
Speaker A: Well, they created Arator, so they gotta. They must have done something. But to have these like super contradicting powerful like.
• 1:00:04
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:00:04
Speaker A: Energies in like in him. And then why not make him at least bisexual? Like give him a little spice. I'm here for it. I'm here for it.
• 1:00:12
Speaker B: And honestly the book kind of like there's also a really close friendship he has with a woman in the. In the. Like in the guard for it's. I can't remember if it's either for the Nightborne or for the Blood Elves, but it's. It comes across as we are just friends. And then my read as a gay man, when I'm reading about his friendship with Kane sunfury, I'm like, gay. We'll see. I still have more. I still have more to read, but I'm Listen, I live for. When they make stuff gay, they also shout out to. I think it's either Shadows Rising. There was a book that came out that was a lead in to bfa.
• 1:00:58
Speaker A: And that book, I think it was Shadow.
• 1:01:00
Speaker B: Gay as hell. There is so much gay stuff in that book. It's crazy.
• 1:01:06
Speaker A: Matthias Shaw and Finn. Finn what? His name.
• 1:01:09
Speaker B: Yeah. So there's like the gay pirates, the gay pirate and the rogue. But then there's also a scene I remember confirmed, though.
• 1:01:15
Speaker A: Are they, like, actually together?
• 1:01:17
  Speaker B: No, they're. They're actually together. It's. It's.
• 1:01:19
  Speaker A: It's really.
• 1:01:19
  Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 1:01:21
  Speaker A: Oh, okay. Slay.
• 1:01:23
Speaker B: And then there is a really.
• 1:01:26
Speaker A: I think they might. On Grindr.
• 1:01:29
Speaker B: Who's the top, who's the bottom? Like.
• 1:01:32
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:01:33
Speaker B: Who's the. Who's the man and the woman in the relationship?
• 1:01:35
  Speaker A: Oh, my God.
• 1:01:36
  Speaker B: That'd be the.
• 1:01:37
  Speaker A: Wow.
• 1:01:37
  Speaker B: Community.
• 1:01:37
Speaker A: Obviously, Matthias, Right. Because he has short hair, Right?
• 1:01:41
Speaker B: Yeah. That's how that works.
• 1:01:42
Speaker A: Yeah. If you have long hair, you can't be a tub. Yeah.
• 1:01:46
Speaker B: What I love is Princess Talanji is my diva. Yeah.
• 1:01:50
  Speaker A: My queen.
• 1:01:51
Speaker B: In the book, she is, like, officiating or confirming a marriage between two women. I was like, oh. I was like, this book is gay.
• 1:02:00
  Speaker A: I didn't know that.
• 1:02:01
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:02:03
  Speaker A: That's cool.
• 1:02:04
Speaker B: It's sickening. Anyway, I loved. Loved the. The patch. I thought it was great. Housing is sickening. I have already. And I'm going to be posting a short form video about this. I've already ran into people having sex role plays.
• 1:02:23
  Speaker A: Excuse me, girl.
• 1:02:25
  Speaker B: It's crazy.
• 1:02:26
Speaker A: It's been five minutes.
• 1:02:28
Speaker B: It's been five minutes.
• 1:02:29
Speaker A: What are we doing? What happened to.
• 1:02:31
  Speaker B: Hello?
• 1:02:32
Speaker A: What happened to furnishing my house? It's giving mattress on the floor. DL top.
• 1:02:37
Speaker B: That's exactly. Okay, listen, I'm gonna describe to you the situation. I'm on stream yesterday, and I am. I'm like, oh, I just joined a random neighborhood because it had a plot that I wanted. And I was like, let me go. I. I've built the exterior plot, by the way. Cemetery plot in the Alliance Zone.
• 1:02:54
Speaker A: Like, they work emo.
• 1:02:56
  Speaker B: Emo. Emo vibes.
• 1:02:58
  Speaker A: Plot zero, girl.
• 1:03:00
Speaker B: As you should. As you should. And I made my house look like kind of like a witch's hut. And it's floating in the air, Fee.
• 1:03:08
Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Okay. Gag.
• 1:03:09
Speaker B: Yeah. So it's floating in the air on a rock, and then I have, like, rocks that lead up to it, like a staircase.
• 1:03:17
Speaker A: Oh, I think I've seen it on social media. Was that you?
• 1:03:21
Speaker B: No, I Haven't posted my house yet. So.
• 1:03:23
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 1:03:25
Speaker B: I was like, oh, let me go check and see if I can enter any of the houses. Also, I was like, let me make sure that I'm the cutest house in my neighborhood, period. So I. And I was. But then I was like, flying around to all these other houses, and I was like, let me see if I can enter any of them. And I entered one of them, and it allowed guests. I walk in. I'm not even kidding you.
• 1:03:48
  Speaker A: You're like, hi.
• 1:03:50
Speaker B: So I'm playing on my horde character, so I can't hear anything that they're saying because they're all alliance. Because when you try to cross faction chat, it's all, like, gobbly goop.
• 1:04:00
Speaker A: They get, oh, yeah, like gibberish.
• 1:04:02
Speaker B: Gibberish, yeah. So I walk in and there's a human, and I think a human and an elf. And the elf woman is wearing no clothes, and she's, like, sitting on the bed like this, like, all slutty. And the human is standing, like, next to the bed. And so I walk in, and I could tell they were immediately embarrassed. And so the woman does slash blush to me. That's on the bed, and I'm gagging, like, on stream. I'm like, oh, my God.
• 1:04:39
Speaker A: That wasn't even planned. Like, they genuinely didn't expect you.
• 1:04:42
Speaker B: They did not expect me to walk into this house. And so I could tell that the. The guy. The human guy was, like, terrified that I was going to report them or something like that. So he starts, like, moving the furniture in the house away from her to make sure, like, oh, she wasn't on the bed. She wasn't on the bed. And she's, like, constantly just, like, blushing and like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. And they're trying to type to me, and I can't read anything they're saying. So I end up leaving. I leave the house and I'm like, okay, here's what I'll do. Because I think if you, like, privately DM people, it does. It's in English, like, or it's. It's not gobbledygook. I'm not sure.
• 1:05:22
Speaker A: Yeah, I think you have to be friends if you're crossfaction.
• 1:05:25
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 1:05:26
Speaker A: But I'm not sure either.
• 1:05:26
Speaker B: So I went to go try to message them. They both had logged off, so. Oh, they must have, like, like, I left the house and they immediately both logged off because they were probably like, oh, we're about to get reported.
• 1:05:39
Speaker A: Oh, no, not you. Disturbing their, like, fun, but also why would you make your house public if you're going to have exactly like, what are we doing?
• 1:05:48
Speaker B: But could you imagine if they were like role players and some random undead, like mage just walks in, seeing you banging on the bed.
• 1:05:56
Speaker A: Oh, oh, sorry, did I, did I disturb you? But you could have also been like, you could have swapped into your role play T2 and be like, hi, your pizza is here or something.
• 1:06:04
Speaker B: I, I would have too, if I. If I was an alliance character, I'd have been like, oh, I'm sorry, is this a bad time?
• 1:06:11
Speaker A: Like, I'm screaming. This is so good. This is so good. I saw a clip on Tick Tock actually of someone recreating Zelotaph and they put like a bunch of pillows on the floor in her face and there's like two round pillows to represent her boobs so they can like lay on it. I'm like, okay, these, these divas are like, they're wilding. And I saw this other clip too, where like you walk into the bedroom and there's like this like setup of beds and then there's a camera on top in the middle of it. I'm like, not these, not these divas, like shooting only fans content.
• 1:06:43
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 1:06:43
Speaker A: What is going when?
