Latest / Reclaiming Consciousness / The Magic of The Meme with James McCrae
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I could have read a bunch of books in my life, and then I make one meme.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: And in making that meme, I'm kind of encoding that image with a lot of the things I've learned in my life.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: I love the name of your podcast so much.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Reclaim your consciousness, right?
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: Stop giving away your energy and your attention is your most valuable thing that you have.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Stop giving it away.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: That's why I think creativity is the biggest weapon against the system.
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:28SPEAKER_02: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: Now let's dive in.
- 1:23SPEAKER_02: Hi everyone.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: Welcome back to the show.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: So, first of all, happy eclipse week.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: I'm recording this on November 9th.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: This podcast will come out tomorrow.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: And uh yesterday was the full moon eclipse in Taurus.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: And um, we've just been in this really powerful energy lately, and I'm sure you can all feel it.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: There's a lot shifting, a lot changing.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: Eclipses around like sudden changes and bringing up shadows and all of that.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: And I know for me and my clients, they've been experiencing a lot of it.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: So I just want to send you all lots of love and high vibes right now.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: And I know you are really gonna enjoy this episode.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: So this week I have James McCrae on the show, and he is the man behind the um Instagram handle, Words Are Vibrations, which I'm sure many of you follow him because his memes are literally profound.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: I don't even remember when I started following him, but his account and his memes, I think they really speak to everybody during this time.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: And we talk about this in depth on the show and just his perspective on things.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: I know you're gonna love this conversation and you're gonna love him because he's just great and his Instagram account is great.
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: And if you don't follow it, jump over to Instagram right now and give him a follow at words are vibrations.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: Just a couple quick announcements here.
- 2:57SPEAKER_02: Yesterday I launched um this new masterclass that I'm gonna be teaching on November 16th called The Six Figure Initiation.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: And this one is this one is hot, guys.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: It has a very powerful energy to it.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: It's about transmuting trauma, transcending time, and accelerating abundance.
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: And this is all about the energetics that I embodied to go from six-figure years to six-figure months.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: And it's all about becoming the version of you who creates that.
- 3:33SPEAKER_02: Because as I've been reflecting on my journey, I realized that it's not exactly about the how, how I did it.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: It's more about who I needed to become in order to create it.
- 3:46SPEAKER_02: And it's a process and a journey of initiation into that version of yourself.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: And that's what I'm going to be aligning you with in this masterclass.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: So if you sign up before end of the day on Friday, 1111, um, it's only$44.
- 4:03SPEAKER_02: So it's kind of a no-brainer.
- 4:04SPEAKER_02: Jump on it.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: And then after that, it'll be 97.
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: And everyone who signs up receives a special gift.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: And I'm not gonna tell you what it is, but you'll receive a special gift, which I'm super excited about also.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: So jump on it.
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna put the link here to sign up, and it's gonna be on Wednesday, November 16th at 5:30 Eastern time.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: And then it'll be about an hour, and the replay will be sent out to everyone who signs up.
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: So if you can't make it live, still sign up.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: You'll get the replay.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: It'll be super powerful because time doesn't exist, which is what I'm gonna talk about in the master class.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: So fun.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: And then also my profoundly speedy, amazing program, Trust, is launching right now.
- 4:51SPEAKER_02: We are in EarlyBird, which actually ends tomorrow, Thursday, when this is coming out.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: So Trust is a container that got downloaded to me again when I was reflecting on my journey and what moved me along so quickly.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: It really truly was the relationship I had with myself because of the trauma that I cleared.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: Because when you transmute your own trauma, your own programming, your own limiting stories that you don't even realize you're telling yourself, it is so much easier to listen to the wisdom of your soul and act on it than getting stuck in stories or wondering or believing you can only have so much.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: I didn't do that, which is why I believe I moved so quickly.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: And it was this energy of deeply trusting myself and deeply trusting the messages I was receiving and not ignoring them.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: I think what I see happen for so many women is you receive guidance through the energy of desire, but you don't act on it because you have these ideas of what is available to you, what you can have.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: And even if you have pushed yourself outside of that, you still are like, okay, well, I don't think I can have more.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: And that's what the energy of this program is about, is clearing out and dismantling the trauma programming that says you can only have so much and trusting these secret messages from your soul that you might not be allowing yourself to listen to.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: And we're gonna activate you into this frequency of fully listening to this relationship with your soul and what it is truly telling you.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: Because I guarantee you, we all have places where we're not fully listening to this.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: Because I see it with every single client.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: So this program is gonna be deeply rooting you in that trust in yourself so that you create what I call your own energetic trust fund, which means that you don't have to worry because you have this relationship with yourself that you know that you are not only always going to be okay, but you're gonna be better than okay, and things are gonna turn out better than you can imagine.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: And really anchoring into that energy through my powerful frequency upgrades, through my powerful energy work that helps you transmute trauma just by being in my energy so that you can align with this new frequency of having your own energetic trust fund at all times.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: It's so fun, so excited about it.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: So if you'd like to sign up for that, just reach out to me.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Like I said, Early Bird ends at the end of the day today, meaning Thursday when this podcast launches.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: So you definitely want to reach out to me about that because this is something you don't want to miss.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: It's an eight-week container, meaning it's gonna create a lot of speed and momentum in your life.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: So if that's something you're desiring, then you definitely will want to join us.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: So without further ado, please enjoy James McCrae.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: So I am super excited for today's guest.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Today we have James McCrae with us, who is an author, poet, meme artist, and creative strategist based in Austin, Texas.
- 8:15SPEAKER_02: Um, you might know him from his Instagram, which is Words Are Vibrations.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: He has some amazing memes, and he has a whole bio, but you know what?
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: We're just gonna talk to him and get to know him.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: So welcome to the show, James.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Hey, Elise, thanks so much for having me.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: I'm happy to be here.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm so excited to chat with you.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: I have to tell you, I love your Instagram.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: It's just awesome.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: I love your memes, they're so funny, usually like so spot on, where I'm just like, yeah.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: Thanks, thanks for that feedback.
- 8:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, of course.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: So I'd love to just hear like a little bit about how you basically went from being born to being an amazing author and meme artist and all the things.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Starting with being born, no.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, I mean, I've been a creative um in some capacity my whole life, you know, whether whether that, you know, I grew up in a very small town in Minnesota, and there's a lot of space for both my mind and my body to roam freely.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of pros and cons to growing up in a small town, and and just like on the theme of reclaiming consciousness, um, there really is a lot of freedom for consciousness to be without pressure for getting into the best college or all these like capitalistic, you know, motivations that do claim people's consciousness from an early age.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: A lot of that, and it's in the middle of nowhere, has uh less of an effect.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: So I think I always had a bit of a sovereign consciousness in terms of you know allowing my creativity to roam free.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: So from writing poetry to making art, that was always a big part of my life.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Was doing a lot of painting in high school, things like that.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: And uh, when it was time to decide what I wanted to do professionally, the only thing that I wanted to do was, you know, keep being creative, keep making things.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: So going to art school was made the most sense to me.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: So I enrolled in a Minneapolis design college and I learned graphic design and spent a few years working professionally as a graphic designer.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Got kind of bored with that.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: It's it's it was less fun when I had to, you know, do work for other people and follow direction from 40 different people for one project, and it stopped being creative for me and it felt just more burdensome.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Uh so it's at a at a certain point I switched to from graphic design to brand strategy.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: So I stayed working in the advertising industry, but I wanted to get more into writing and more into the strategic problem solving and creative ideation that comes long before the design phase.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: I realized that a graphic designer's job is by and large, you know, putting the final touches on something that's already been ideated and decided, you know, further upstream.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: So I wanted to go further upstream and help make those creative decisions that were defining a brand or a marketing campaign and things like that.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: So I became a brand strategist and I spent many years doing that, you know, naming companies, doing marketing campaigns, doing mission vision stuff.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: And I did that in Minneapolis and in New York City.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: And it was um while working in advertising in New York City that I started to work on my own book projects.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: And uh I got my my first book published a handful of years back in in New York called Uh Shit Your Ego Says.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: And it was really up more recently, I left New York in uh the end of 2019 and ended up in Topanga Canyon in LA.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: I was just out there.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, it's beautiful.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: It's so pretty.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: And uh that's where I ended up when quarantine began.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And it was really during uh those early stages of quarantine when I was looking for a creative expression just to make sense of the world around me, which had just changed so rapidly.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: And I started writing poetry and making memes as a way to express what I was thinking and what I was feeling.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Because I found those mediums to be a little more just interesting in terms of their nuanced approach to dealing with complex issues.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: And it turns out people really like to share memes.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: So I got a lot of positive feedback doing that, and they they were shared quite a bit.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: And um, I quickly became known as a meme artist.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And and then in 2021, last year, I put out my second book, which is called How to Laugh and Ironic Amusement During Your Existential Crisis.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And that is a collection of poetry and memes, and it's the first book of memes to to be published.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: So um I've really been diving into the meme format as uh as a new creative medium of expression.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: When we l live on the internet, we live on our smartphones, we live on social media.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: I think it really is one of the more relevant, you know, art mediums of of our time.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: So I'm it's been kind of fun to play around with with that and apply like the creative mindset that I would use for poetry, but using that for memes.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: And then that ties in my you know experience as a graphic designer and all these things.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it's been a it's been a wild ride the past couple of years with with memes.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: Oh my God.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: Well, it's interesting too, because I feel like the memes just perfectly came into play when like COVID happened and just like the world exploded, and everybody was like, what the fuck is going on?
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: But it was also this time where like so much was illuminated for people that they hadn't really thought about before.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: And then the memes just like came right in and were this amazing way of illustrating that.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: I know for me, my experience, and I'm sure other people can relate, is like you see it, right?
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: And it like so perfectly illustrates and says the thing that you kind of thought but it hadn't fully formulated in your brain.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: And then you see it and you're like, oh my god, yes.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, memes are a very potent form of communication.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: And there's a few reasons for that, you know, that the visual component goes a long way.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: And there's something about the humor of it and the visual component where it cuts straight to the heart or the gut, where you just see it and then it takes like a split second to decipher the message, and then you download it and like you get it.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: And that method of communication, it somehow cuts through or bypasses the like intellectual critical component.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: I could give a lecture on a topic, or I could write an essay on a topic, and I would make this very linear logical argument defending a point of view.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: And what's going to happen is the people who already agree with me are going to agree, and the people who already disagree are going to disagree.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: But memes have a way of bypassing those, just those um biases that we that we have.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: And it kind of speaks to the heart.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: And it it's like it's hard to lie with a meme or use a meme for propaganda because it really does.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: I've heard it described as it either vibes or it doesn't.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: Do you get the vibe or do you not?
- 15:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: The memes with the most pure vibes are the ones that propagate and spread.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: Uh, so there's something inherently honest and truthful and like just impactful about that medium.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: And also I feel like at this time where there was so much like what's the truth?
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: There's so much back and forth about like what is real and what's the truth, and like what's actually real, and and all of that, right?
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: The meme just like kind of cut through all of that because at the end of the day, and I think one of the things that we kind of have been brought back to in all of this, it's the truth is not like a logical thing, it's a feeling.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: And the meme was able to cut into the feeling so you could see it and like you're describing, you feel it, and you're just like, yeah.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's a there's a lot to that, you know.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: I think that in a lot of ways our language has been hijacked um for many, many years now.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: You could make an argument that there's a there's this book called The Alphabet and the Goddess, which is essentially it depicts uh civilization prior to the written word being the predominant form of communication, and societies were more visual and symbolic.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: And in being constructed that way, that that was in the book, it's like that was a more kind of equal balance between the masculine and the feminine.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: Whereas the hijacking of language into these like super rational, linear logical structures, it kind of hijacked consciousness itself into basically this kind of intellectual matrix.
- 17:34SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: And we've been kind of stuck in this kind of intellectual matrix for a very long time.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: And I and I really do think that we, when people talk about we're trapped in the matrix and things like that, I really do think that the matrix is the source code of the matrix is language.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Because language really is what we use to not only communicate, but to understand.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: And we can only understand in a, in a sense, what we're able to communicate.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: So those who control the words and those who control the language really control the paradigm.
- 18:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: So I do see there there's a role of memes where they go back to that symbolic visual type of communication, where it's not just like this linear logical intellectual construct.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: There's a vibe in there that is a combination of the words and the visual, and it kind of elevates the tone of communication.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: I have a friend who who told me that she thinks memes they're a stepping stone towards telepathy.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Because I feel like I could have read a bunch of books in my life, and then I make one meme, and in making that meme, I'm kind of encoding that image with a lot of the things I've learned in my life, right?
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Without without putting it all in there, I'm kind of encoding the vibe in the meme.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: And then when someone receives that meme, they automatically unpack that meaning and then they download the information.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: So, in a way, it is communicating a lot more than just the actual content on the image in a way that, you know, who knows could be a stepping stone to reading minds and telepathy and and and things like that.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: I really do think it is part of the evolution of language itself.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: I totally agree with you, and I'm glad you're saying it this way because I didn't like think of it like that, but it's so true.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: And the reason why I think too is because I do feel like we're at this point, and you know, I'd love to talk, get your take on this too.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: I think we're at this point on the planet where we are uncovering our psychic abilities and our telepathy and the way that we're able to use our energy and connect with our energy.
- 19:45SPEAKER_02: And, you know, I was talking to a client earlier who, you know, all of my clients are having these psychic awakenings per se on many different levels.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: And she was talking about seeing these different symbols and how symbols carry certain energetic frequencies, and we don't need to put language to it, right?
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: We don't have to use words to explain what these symbols are.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: We can just feel them energetically, and that's enough, right?
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: So I think we're we're tapping into our ability to feel energy, work with energy, use our energy to create, and also the telepathy thing like you're talking about.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Cause I know I feel like for me in the last couple of years, my telepathic abilities are totally like skyrocketed.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: I'm sure you agree.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: So I love that.
- 20:35SPEAKER_02: I think that's totally true.
- 20:36SPEAKER_02: And I love your perspective on that too.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it seems to be the case where people are, in some sense, like waking up from a deep sleep and reclaiming their own consciousness in a way, right?
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: It seems to be definitely a trend in the past couple years.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: And I mean, you mentioned that when you see my memes, your reaction is often like, oh, aha, like he nailed it, right?
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Well, I feel like often I'm channeling those myself, or you know, I'm tapping into some other, you know, I think intuition is the portal to a lot of things.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: And um, I think that I ideas are out there in the collective consciousness, and we kind of feel them before we can fully understand them, right?
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: So I mean, I've spent many years practicing meditation and you know, things like that, which kind of polishes the mind and and and strengthens that portal of intuition.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: So my creative process is very much one to just kind of tune into the collective consciousness and be like, well, what what's going on?
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Like, what am I feeling?
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: What is the universe trying to teach me?
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: Like, where am I at with my energy, with my body?
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: And uh, I think when you do that, because I think what we're all connected through energy and through emotion, not through the mind, right?
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: So if I was too preoccupied with my own thoughts, I wouldn't be tapping.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Into that collective consciousness, but I I tune into the body.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And then when I do that, whatever comes through tends to be more resonant to more people because I really think there is like a collective consciousness that you can tap into through energy, through feeling, through emotion.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: So that's a very much part of my creative process is to start there and then let my mind kind of interpret that sensation into words.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: But I don't start with my mind or my thoughts because I think the there's the mind is a very valuable tool, obviously.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: It's a very useful tool, but I think it's also limiting.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: And I think if you start with your mind, it's your mind only goes so deep.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: But when you tap into your energy, you're tapping into a much deeper kind of ocean of collective consciousness to draw from.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: So you can catch bigger fish in in terms of better, like better ideas.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: So I definitely think that's something that's happening.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: And um, I think it is definitely helped, you know, my art.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: For sure.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: And I totally agree with you.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, I feel like it translates into my own work too, because I, you know, I help people heal and create changes in their lives.
- 23:07SPEAKER_02: And the reason why I'm able to do that is just because I can feel their energy and I can see exactly where they're at and what needs to shift.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: But it's all reading energy.
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: It has nothing to do with the mind.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, other than my brain creating words for what I'm feeling.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: But other than that, it's totally around energy.
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: And it's just a whole other paradigm because I feel like no one teaches us this, right?
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: Like you don't learn this anywhere.
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: And I have a background as a school counselor.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: I was a school counselor for 10 years before I started my business.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: And it would just always blow my mind how school, you don't learn anything that you actually need to know for a living.
- 23:49SPEAKER_02: And I know it's like designed that way, I get it.
- 23:52SPEAKER_02: But it just always blew my mind because I'm like, nowhere are we learning about emotions.
- 23:57SPEAKER_02: And we're such emotional beings.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: We experience the world and process everything through our emotions, but we're taught to suppress them and we're taught not to feel them.
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: And no one has any idea how to deal with them.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: And then we all become adults running around with all these suppressed emotions and just projecting them all over each other.
- 24:18SPEAKER_02: So yeah, no one teaches you this.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: So to have someone like you to kind of share it and bring it to life is so important.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I think there's so many people that are that are stepping up to fill that that vacuum right now.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think that I think the world has changed so significantly in the past few years.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Because you're right, you know, our school system and our educational system is it's a relic that was designed to create, you know, obedient factory workers.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: But that's not the world we live in anymore.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: I think creativity is more important than ever because there is no certainty in terms of like what next year is going to bring and the year after that.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: You can't just expect to go down a traditional career path and get a job after college and keep that job for 40 years and like everything is is stable because we live in a very unstable time.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: And I think that requires great creativity in order to navigate.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: And I think that we are capable of navigating it because I think we are all creative beings at our core.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: I think we are all creative by nature.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: You know, I think that the same way that the role of nature is to create.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: And we are when we are part of nature, you know, the same way that a tree grows branches and leaves, you know, we create our projects in our lives, whether that's art, whether that's, you know, a podcast, whether that's, you know, a great relationship, you know, whether that's how you organize your home, like we're creating all the time, you know, whether we realize or not or not, because that is in our nature.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: So I think it's so important to tap into that creative nature and you know, to navigate that uncertainty.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: And there's so many people, like, you know, I'm, you know, I think that there really are people, you know, I live here in Austin, and there are so many amazing healers and coaches and teachers and energy workers and guides of some form or another who are really stepping up to fill that hole that is lacking in our society.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: And I think that um that's so important for everyone now is to go through our own kind of weaning ourselves from this dying paradigm that we are we're all kind of grew up in and finding a way to you know build a better world and then and to kind of use our own, you know, offering and our own talents and our own, you know, natural inclinations to help others and to you know be an example of what a better world can be.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: And it's really inspiring to see so many people doing that these days.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: And then the other thing I'd love to ask you about and get your perspective on too is like obviously, yes, we want to wean ourselves off the old and step into the new, but there's a lot of shit that comes up in the face of that, right?
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: Like when we decide we're gonna change the way that we live our lives or we're gonna create something new, there's always these like fears that come up, or these reasons why we think we can't do it, or the doubt, or all of that.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: And like to the person who's kind of in that space, how would you say to deal with that or to navigate that?
- 27:34SPEAKER_02: And maybe how did you navigate that, or what did that look like for you?
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: You know, I think that for me and so many people, it's like we're kind of getting pushed into the the future in a way that's beyond our own control.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we are.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, I feel that.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: I feel like people don't always change until they have to, but I think that like it's becoming increasingly hard to ignore the changes that are happening in the world, if if that makes sense.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: Like I think we're all being pushed into it.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: I think it's just um, it's so important to try to trust what's happening in our own lives and in the world.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: You know, like I had to lose my job.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: I've gone through multiple dark nights of the soul that I've kind of skipped over, you know, during my initial journey, you know, story.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: But I I've had so many dark nights of the soul that have facilitated the growth in my life.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, the people that I know who are truly thriving right now in this time of uncertainty are the people who went through a baptism by fire in a way.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Like the phoenix that rises from the ashes of the fire is very much a real thing.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: Don't be afraid to let your old life fall apart and die.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: And like that doesn't mean it's fun.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Like it's definitely a painful process to make a big transition in your life and in your career and all of these things.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: Every time that I've had a dark night of the soul, or I've I've been homeless, or I've lost a job, and like all of these things, and like it really sucks in the moment.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: But every time without fail, I've emerged from those situations so much stronger, so much wiser, so much more equipped for whatever the next step is in my life.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: So it's just so important to trust that unraveling.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: And even though things seem bad in the moment, you know, don't judge how you feel in the present moment because you know, things change quickly.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: And, you know, do you have just trust the path that you're on, trust the events of your life, believe they're happening for a reason, and just grow from everything that you're going through.
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 29:38SPEAKER_02: And that's so true.
- 29:39SPEAKER_02: I mean, you it's kind of a process of initiation, right?
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: Like you kind of have to go through it in order to get to that next level.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: It looks different for everybody, but you know, sometimes you get the nudge and you listen, or if you don't listen, then like you'll get in like a car accident or you'll lose your job, or one of those things where you know you're kind of forced to look at yourself.
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: And obviously, like COVID was that for many people, right?
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: Like it kind of forced everybody to do that, and it forced people to kind of have that dark night of the soul too, where I know a lot of people were just like, What the fuck am I doing?
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: I've had a lot of dark nights of the soul in my individual life, and I think that the COVID situation was a collective dark night of the soul.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: Definitely.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: The people who had already experienced a dark night of the soul and had gone through that death and transformation just kind of skated through it because they they had been there.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: They had faced the unknown and they had emerged from it, and they kind of understand that that's just the nature of growth and of reality.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: And for the people who had always kind of clung to their comfort zone, it was a moment of mass initiation where people had no choice but to kind of undergo that collective dark night of the soul.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it happens one way or another.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and and it happens on different levels for different people and at different times, you know.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: But it's so interesting because we're kind of taught, you know, I always have this joke that I tell everybody I work with that like everything you've been taught is actually the opposite, which, you know, obviously is the truth on many levels.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: But I feel like we're kind of taught that that we shouldn't feel pain, right?
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: That like that's bad, that negative emotions are bad, and you want to avoid pain, you want to avoid suffering and all of that.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: But nowhere do we actually learn that this is like an invitation for you to go deeper and to grow and to become more of yourself.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: Like that's just something you kind of have to learn in the process.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, no question.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's no bad emotions.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: There's a whole range of emotions and you can't really skip ahead.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: So, like, in other words, if you're living in a place of apathy and you want to get to joy, you're probably gonna have to go through, you know, things like anger.
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: You might think that anger is a negative emotion, but if you're living in apathy or shame, then anger is actually an empowering emotion.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: So you really have to kind of they call it integrating the shadow, not fearing the quote unquote, you know, darker parts of life, but you know, going through them.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: And that's really, you know, we're all on the hero's journey.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: It's the archetype of life, right?
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: So the end of the journey, you don't get to the castle unless you kind of go through those trials and tribulations.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: That's what we're here to do.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: Everything that happens is perfectly safe, and that includes dying.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: And when you watch a movie, there's all kinds of drama and things that happen.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: No one wants to watch a movie that is nothing happens.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Like it's just kind of like everything is just pretty okay, and then they get a little bit better.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: Like that's a boring movie, right?
- 32:52SPEAKER_03: No one will watch it.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: We're in a we're in a very much this like very real simulation that we're experiencing.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: And uh part of the experience is meant to be the pain and the suffering, because that is what makes a story and a life and a journey complete, is to go through those moments and to come out of the other side.
- 33:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, totally.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: And I think we're experiencing that as a collective right now, more and more, because it's just getting so obvious the way that everything is kind of falling apart, even just the small things, like just all the systems and everything are just like so obviously not working.
- 33:32SPEAKER_02: It's kind of comical, but I feel like it makes people feel unsafe or people take that as a reason to feel unsafe.
- 33:41SPEAKER_02: But really, it's an invitation to like cultivate the sense of safety within yourself.
- 33:47SPEAKER_02: And I think that you're just to bring it back to the memes, I think that there's a way that the memes actually make it so that everything is okay.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: Even though when you look out there, it could be like the world is falling apart, you know.
- 34:02SPEAKER_02: Like there's that one where it's like the world is on fire.
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: I forget what it was, but it's like the world is on fire and like the person is I forget what it is.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: I'm butchering that, but it's one where like there are lots of memes where the world is on fire.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: That's a common, yeah.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: That makes sense, yeah.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Those are the most honest ones.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: No, that that's why that's why my book was called How to Laugh and Ironic Amusement During Your Existential Crisis.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Because it's like I have some friends that are still like fully locked into believing that like the the political system is just real, and like this is like, and it's like those are the people that are just like struggling because they're like, but this and that.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: And it's like they they're really trying to like make sense of it.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: They put their belief in the political system, and it's like, no, honey, that is not a good way to treat yourself.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: It's like, no, this is a charade, it's a puppet show, it has been for a very long time, and it does have real implications on our lives.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: So I'm not saying like it's right to ignore it, but you also have to see beyond it in order to you know enact real change.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: And you have to see, you know, you have to see kind of the you know, the monster for what it is until you can kind of stop taking it seriously, and you can actually be like, oh, this is just a game, and it's like a bad TV show, and it's like, oh yeah, I'm not giving this my energy and my attention anymore because there's nothing here that is serving me in any way.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: It's not meant to serve me, it's meant to distract me, it's meant to confuse me, it's meant to spent to spin us all around in circles so we don't we're too dizzy to know where to go, right?
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: So it and it feeds off our energy, it feeds off our attention.
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: So I love the name of your podcast so much.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Reclaim your consciousness, right?
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Stop giving away your energy and your attention is your most valuable thing that you have.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: Stop giving it away.
- 36:01SPEAKER_01: I say that all the time.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: These disempowering systems because they're not here to serve you, and it's like the more you feed into them, the more real they become.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: So bye, it's time to move on, it's time to create something new.
- 36:15SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 36:16SPEAKER_02: I totally agree, and you're right.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: It's funny.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: I was just on a call before this with one of my groups, and I was like, somebody else was like, I just remember you keep saying that your energy is your most important commodity, and like I think I'm really like getting it.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, Yes, if there's one thing for you to remember, it's that, because then you can actually come from a place where you're honoring your energy, and it's like, well, where am I putting my energy, right?
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: Like, what am I putting my energy into?
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: Because when I put my energy into it, that becomes real to me.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: Like that becomes my reality.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: And it's hard to navigate sometimes.
- 36:52SPEAKER_02: So I'm interested in what you would say to like for those, the friends that you have that are still so engrossed in the political system, because I have them too, right?
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: And there's people that are really still bought into that.
- 37:04SPEAKER_02: How do you talk to those people or handle those people?
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: Because like it's also this thing that I feel like I learned very early on in my spiritual journey is like you can't explain anything to anyone, you can't like share your awakening with anyone.
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: Like that just doesn't work.
- 37:20SPEAKER_02: So, how do we handle that?
- 37:22SPEAKER_02: Because for me, I just don't talk.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: I'm just like, okay.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:26SPEAKER_00: No, you're gonna love this meme that I haven't I haven't posted it yet, but it's like it's like this kid with this really like stressed face.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: He's like, and it's it's something like when you're surrounded by indoctrinated normies and trying to bite your tongue.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: So this was made for you.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: Well, but you're right.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Like it's really hard to that's the thing, you can't change people's mind.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: People's consciousness is where it is, and you can guide it gently, but you cannot change people's minds because people's like beliefs are so fundamentally held.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: Like you have to reach your own conclusions.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: And that's one reason why my memes, even um, there were a lot of times I wanted to go deeper into exposing the government or you know, getting into like this conspiracy theory or this one, right?
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: Because that's just I wanted to like give my opinion on on certain current events.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: And I never really went down that direction.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: And one reason why is because the censorship and I've had so many friends' accounts get banned, and it's just it's really not worth it.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Not only that, it goes back to when you put too fine a point on something, it becomes polarizing.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: And the people whose minds you were intending to open double down on being defensive.
- 38:46SPEAKER_00: And it's like trying to talk to a brick wall, right?
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: So what I try to do instead is just to plant little seeds of expanding consciousness.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Because in order to accept like a new, a new truth or a new reality or a more expanded version of reality, like you consciousness has to be ready to receive that.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: So I'm more just like planting little seeds and like hopefully people can follow.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: And I think one of the most fundamental truth behind that is just that consciousness is a more fundamental layer of reality than the physical world.
- 39:22SPEAKER_00: I think that's kind of like the big key.
- 39:25SPEAKER_00: And there's a lot of science that's starting to tap into this idea.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I think this is maybe perhaps the big paradigm shift that we're going through is leading to this realization that everything we understand about the universe is not true.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: And that that shouldn't be a surprise because when when we look back on history, we always laugh at their conclusions without fail.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: In the 1400s, they were they believed this and they were doing that.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: And and of course they were wrong.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: Like it's the human mind, like we're it's our best and brightest.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: It's just um a sliver of the intelligence of the design of the universe, right?
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: Like to imagine that we have it all figured out is is very silly.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: So I think that we're waking up to the idea that consciousness actually is a more fundamental layer of reality than the physical world.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: And consciousness does did not arise from this, these random mutations of genes and cells over billions of years to form a complex biological system that consciousness somehow sprouted from accidentally.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: No, consciousness it starts with consciousness.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: Consciousness is the baseline, and everything else extrapolates from consciousness.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: And that's such a hard shift for people to make, but I think that is what we are starting to wake up to.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: And when you know that, then you know how powerful your consciousness is and how we give life to whatever we give our attention to.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: And the magicians who are, you know, controlling the political system and the economic system, etc., they know this.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: That's why everything is engineered to steal our consciousness into these fear-based paradigms that you know suck our attention into one crisis after another.
- 41:23SPEAKER_02: And they literally get us to create what they want us to create because we're gonna create.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: Because we're all collectively focusing on it.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: It's just like a it's a magic trick that we're all staring at together because like we believe in it so much.
- 41:37SPEAKER_02: It's crazy.
- 41:38SPEAKER_02: I always tell people like there's real literally no reality outside of what you're perceiving.
- 41:44SPEAKER_02: Because I got I got into an argument with my husband a couple months ago because he said, Well, there's three sides of the story.
- 41:51SPEAKER_02: There's that, what that person saw, and what that person saw, and what really happened.
- 41:55SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, no, that's actually not true.
- 41:58SPEAKER_02: I'm like, there's no third side of the story, it's only what that person perceived and what the other person perceived.
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: There's no reality outside of that, you know, and I would see this all the time.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: Perception is reality.
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: Perception is reality, and I would see this all the time as a school counselor because I'd be in my office and I get brought these two kids who just got into a fight, right?
- 42:20SPEAKER_02: And I have to like mediate between them.
- 42:23SPEAKER_02: And um, the one is telling his whole side of the story, this is what happened, this is what happened, and then the other one is there, like, that's not what happened.
- 42:31SPEAKER_02: And then he tells his side of the story, which is like totally different.
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: And I'm always just sitting there, like, well, he fully believes what he experienced, and he fully believes what he experienced.
- 42:43SPEAKER_02: So that is his reality, and there's no changing that, right?
- 42:48SPEAKER_02: So I would always say to them, listen, you see it how you saw it, you see it how you saw it.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: We're not gonna argue over that, right?
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: Let's just move forward.
- 42:55SPEAKER_02: But the point is, is that we're taught that there's some kind of reality that is separate from what we believe to be reality, and that's just not the case.
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: And when you realize that, then you realize that you have this full agency to believe and create whatever you want that is completely in your favor.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Preach.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: I fully support that.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: Like, I think that reclaiming consciousness uh and the sovereignty of your own consciousness is the most important thing because we cannot be free unless our consciousness is free.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: That's why I think creativity is the biggest weapon against, you know, the system.
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: Some people, you know, there's a role for protesting, there's a role for, you know, things like that, you know, fighting against the system.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: I think fighting against the system, I think the system feeds off that fear based fighting mentality.
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: I think that can actually feed into the system.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: It's the same vibration.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: It is the same vibration.
- 43:55SPEAKER_00: So there, I mean, there is a role, like we said before, there is a role for like this kind of sacred role.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Rage and like, you know, if if people want to protest and things like that, that's great.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: I think they should be able to do that.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: I think the revolution needs to happen on every level.
- 44:07SPEAKER_03: Totally.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: And that and that includes, you know, the people that are that are rioting in the streets.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: But I at the same time, I don't think that that is necessary and required in order for it to happen.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: I think it is a shift in consciousness.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: But I think the movie needs to play out on all the different levels.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: So it needs to play out on the consciousness level.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: It needs to play out in the streets as well.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: So I think that the revolution has many faces, and I think it's um all ultimately kind of like different levels of the same transformation that's happening.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: A hundred percent.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: And I also just to bring it back to what you said about like, you know, like what you're sharing and not wanting to get too polarizing.
- 44:45SPEAKER_02: And I completely agree with you because I feel that way too, because I feel like I'm always trying to do that too, is like plant little seeds of like, okay, well, what's a little way that we could open up this person's perspective, right?
- 44:57SPEAKER_02: Like, what's a little thing that I could say that would they would be like, huh, you know, and just kind of open it up because that's what it's really about.
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: Because ultimately it has to happen on like that energetic, intuitive level.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: And like one of the things I noticed over the COVID times was I was really looking at the way that people's consciousness had been hijacked.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: But the reason why it was able to be hijacked is because people weren't connected to their body and their energy and their intuition.
- 45:29SPEAKER_02: So they couldn't feel that what we were seeing was a load of crap.
- 45:34SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 45:35SPEAKER_02: You have to be able to feel that.
- 45:37SPEAKER_02: You can't just know that.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: So I I completely agree with you that like it's so important to just like have these little ways where you're kind of expanding consciousness versus just being like, oh, this is all a lie or whatever the fuck, because then people are just not gonna Yeah, no, I think I think that um looking back on my own journey as well, you know, I had a big years-long process of moving from my head to my heart.
- 46:00SPEAKER_00: And this is, you know, through yoga, through relationships, through psychedelics, like through all these different ways that have really taught me the heart and the body is where is where it's at, and the head is secondary.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: That's the lesson people really need to learn first.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: Because, like you said, you know, the mind is a good tool.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: It's a good sidekick.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: Like the ego is a good sidekick.
- 46:21SPEAKER_00: It does help us navigate and it helps us strategize, but the mind is not transcendent in the same way that like the heart can be, because you can tap into that mycelial network of consciousness that we all are connected to, right?
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: Because I think having a bullshit detector is just so important right now.
- 46:41SPEAKER_00: Someone might have a tinge of, you know, oh, this something, something about this doesn't seem right, but their mental programming and conditioning is so strong that they snuff it out and they're just like, no, that's ridiculous.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: Um my mind is right.
- 46:55SPEAKER_00: I I know the answer.
- 46:57SPEAKER_00: And it's like, no, you're just not, you're not listening to what your body's telling you.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: You're refusing to, and then your mind's getting even more outraged because you're you're so stubbornly refusing to tune into the the bigger truth that your heart and your body and your energy is trying to tell you.
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: So I think it's so important to cultivate that presence within your own body.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: And there's so many tools and techniques to do that.
- 47:22SPEAKER_00: But moving from your head to the heart, I think really is a prerequisite to fully kind of reclaiming your consciousness.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, a hundred percent.
- 47:31SPEAKER_02: Because I think that's kind of why so many people got so caught up and so enraged and acted in ways that hopefully at some point they might regret.
- 47:44SPEAKER_02: Um, or maybe not, but because they weren't feeling that connection.
- 47:50SPEAKER_02: And even now, just to like go back to like your perception as your reality, even like what we're seeing right now with the ending of COVID and them saying, like, oh wait, maybe that wasn't what we should have done, or whatever.
- 48:03SPEAKER_02: I feel like people are still kind of like perceiving it through this lens of like it was all okay.
- 48:11SPEAKER_02: So like it really kind of shows you that people are only capable of like perceiving things through their lens of what they think reality is.
- 48:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:22SPEAKER_00: And it's gonna take, you know, I think a lot of people, you know, quote unquote woke up during that time and many did not.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, it's gonna require more waves of you know, madness and confusion until people really start to open their eyes in a in a major way.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: So crisis leads to breakthroughs and and leads to transformation.
- 48:45SPEAKER_00: So no matter what happens, you know, I think it's ultimately in service to our own collective transformation, which is, I think, something that's basically inevitable.
- 48:56SPEAKER_00: I think that the systems that we're living in have really outgrown their usefulness and they're gonna, they're gonna fall apart one way or another.
- 49:04SPEAKER_00: And um, even if, let's say, worst case or some kind of a like a huge collapse, you know, I do think that even that would lead to a mass awakening that would bring us together.
- 49:16SPEAKER_00: And I think that it's it's our nature to support each other and to we are pack animals and we need each other.
- 49:23SPEAKER_00: And I think that even the worst case scenario would force us to come together as a collective, as a pack, and it wouldn't all be fun and pretty, especially at the beginning.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: But I really think that would be something that would ultimately lead to our salvation of our own species, just to um be forced to find a way to work together and to build something that is more sustainable and more true and more in harmony with nature and you know, beneficial to ourselves.
- 49:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 49:56SPEAKER_02: And I think ultimately that's what most people want anyway.
- 49:59SPEAKER_02: I mean, the only reason we're so divided is because we've been manipulated to be that way.
- 50:05SPEAKER_02: I think human nature is really loving and wants to connect and work together and create.
- 50:13SPEAKER_02: It's just the manipulation that has told us that we need to hate anyone who doesn't think like us and you know, and that these people are bad.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a trauma bond to these toxic systems.
- 50:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: And they are manipulate, they are manipulating us.
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: And you know, they think that, oh, you know, if they feed off of our energy and cause us to, you know, hate each other.
- 50:34SPEAKER_00: It's it's it's like a the worst toxic family you can imagine.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: Or just kind of like need to break ties at some point.
- 50:41SPEAKER_02: That's why I always say if everyone would like heal their family and ancestral trauma, everything would shift in the world because we're all kind of just playing that out with each other until it becomes healed.
- 50:52SPEAKER_02: So I'm always like, we just need to heal our trauma and then it'll all shift.
- 50:57SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 50:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 50:58SPEAKER_02: So I'm wondering too, like, what's next for you?
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: Like, is there just more memes happening, or is there another book, or like what's on the horizon?
- 51:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm um I'm finishing up my third book.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be out next year.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be it's gonna be a little while yet, but it's about creativity.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: It's called Creativity Cheat Codes, and it's the blueprint for creativity.
- 51:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love it.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's really built around the yin and the yang of creativity, the creative being and creative doing.
- 51:28SPEAKER_00: It's a full breakdown of the entire creative process.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: So even if you think you're not creative, it'll really give you the keys and the codes to um unlock your own creativity.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love that.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: That sounds amazing.
- 51:42SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 51:43SPEAKER_02: So, well, thank you so much for being here.

- 52:18SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 52:19SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 52:19SPEAKER_02: And then, so for our last question, um, for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: I think consciousness as a whole is non-negotiable.
- 52:31SPEAKER_00: Because I think everything starts with consciousness.
- 52:33SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 52:34SPEAKER_00: Like everything, consciousness is the soil that all where the seeds get planted that create everything else in your life.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: So having full autonomy over our own consciousness as sovereign adult human beings, um, I think it's all non-negotiable.
- 52:52SPEAKER_00: I mean, because once you control someone's consciousness, you can control every other aspect of their lives.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: Um, so I think consciousness is sacred.
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: And I think the ability to dream and imagine and create, that all stems from our consciousness.
- 53:08SPEAKER_00: So for me, that's you know, sovereign consciousness itself is non-negotiable.
- 53:13SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 53:14SPEAKER_02: It's amazing.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: Well, great place to end.
- 53:16SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
