- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with our radio. It's the almost Famous podcast, and we
- 0:08Speaker 1: are here today to make things happen for you. The
- 0:10Speaker 1: listener breakdown everything going on in the Bachelorette, Bachelor Nation,
- 0:15Speaker 1: also with our lives. Speaking of lives, how are you, Ashley?
- 0:19Speaker 1: I am very overwhelmed. Why we're still like, you know,
- 0:25Speaker 1: in the moving process. We've only been in this house
- 0:27Speaker 1: for ten days, so I am this person and it's
- 0:31Speaker 1: so bad. And I think I've said it before because
- 0:33Speaker 1: I've moved like a zillion times while recording this podcast.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I can't get anything done until I get the house
- 0:40Speaker 1: organized because you know, messy house, messy brain. So it's
- 0:44Speaker 1: just like kind of a detriment. But it's fine. It's
- 0:47Speaker 1: this has been such an easy move comparably speaking to
- 0:50Speaker 1: the past couple, because everything has its place. I've done
- 0:54Speaker 1: like the big purges and all that, so it's really
- 0:57Speaker 1: a matter of just putting everything in the place. It's
- 1:01Speaker 1: give me a week, I'll be fine. Who puts what's
- 1:04Speaker 1: going on? Who puts together the furniture? When you move
- 1:07Speaker 1: in your house? The movers? Oh, why would you think
- 1:12Speaker 1: that Jared and friend did it. I mean I always
- 1:15Speaker 1: have to do it, and it's the move. Now. Yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 1: it's the most painful thing because half of it's like
- 1:20Speaker 1: you know, I keia wayfair like that kind of stuff
- 1:23Speaker 1: that like has all these little parts and I'm just
- 1:24Speaker 1: down screwing and then my knees her, I get grumpy,
- 1:29Speaker 1: I'm tired. So that that's Jared putting together a baby item. Now. Now, furniture,
- 1:37Speaker 1: you know, I'll usually have my father in law put
- 1:39Speaker 1: it together. If I buy it for the house it's
- 1:41Speaker 1: not part of a move, then I'll have him come
- 1:43Speaker 1: over and do it. Um, Jared can do it. It's
- 1:46Speaker 1: just a matter of like getting Jared to do it
- 1:48Speaker 1: is a little bit too difficult because like once he
- 1:50Speaker 1: gets home, he just wants to chill out, which is
- 1:52Speaker 1: totally understandable. Um. Yeah, you don't have to get a task,
- 1:58Speaker 1: grab it, man, That's all I can say. Well, actually,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I got a big update in my life. If you
- 2:03Speaker 1: if you watched E this last week, you saw me
- 2:06Speaker 1: on television. Yeah, I wanted to talk about that. Uh
- 2:11Speaker 1: it's not that I mean it was awesome, right, Nick
- 2:13Speaker 1: and I competed on the Celebrity Beef hosted by the
- 2:18Speaker 1: one and only Joel Mcial, whom a huge fan of,
- 2:21Speaker 1: who has headed spectacular um come back on his hairline.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I mean that guy used to have no really Oh yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 1: he talks about it. Should I google this? Yeah, you
- 2:33Speaker 1: gotta google list. But he is hilarious. Um, there's a
- 2:36Speaker 1: fun show. And uh, I had a really good time.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Holy damn. Now I told you it's pretty crazy. You know,
- 2:43Speaker 1: it's an option out there, Ashley. Do you want to
- 2:45Speaker 1: hear behind the scenes of this that I don't share often? Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So I go out to l A for celebrity beef.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I played golf with Wells Adams and Brett Adams his brother. Uh.
- 3:00Speaker 1: The day before that is the day I got my
- 3:02Speaker 1: hole on one. You know what happens when you get
- 3:04Speaker 1: a hole in one, You buy the whole bar, drinks,
- 3:06Speaker 1: you sell, you celebrate. It's a big deal. And I
- 3:11Speaker 1: wanted to celebrate the whole bar at what if you
- 3:14Speaker 1: what if you win like a really popular bar. Oh
- 3:17Speaker 1: it's I mean, I've been in a bar where somebody's
- 3:20Speaker 1: got a hold on one and probably dropped ten thousand
- 3:22Speaker 1: on drinks. That's not fair, it is. It's just kind
- 3:26Speaker 1: of the thing, like the tradition. Well, so like Wells
- 3:29Speaker 1: and I end up staying up till three in the
- 3:30Speaker 1: morning the night like at his house, just chatting, catching up, celebrating.
- 3:36Speaker 1: We had an eight am called time. So that show
- 3:39Speaker 1: was rough on but but we made it through. If
- 3:44Speaker 1: you want to watch it, I'm sure it's gonna have
- 3:46Speaker 1: some reruns. It was a good time, Ashley. Thanks for
- 3:49Speaker 1: texting me about it, because you know, I kept a
- 3:51Speaker 1: kind of a secret. Why I want to talk about yourself,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I don't know. It's just weird, but it's fun. It's fun.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's going to be back in front of the cameras.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I felt like I shined. They put the two of
- 4:05Speaker 1: you head to add because you're like back to back
- 4:07Speaker 1: bachelors and you were on the same seasons and all that. Yeah,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and it's part I actually don't know this, but Nick
- 4:14Speaker 1: is the one that asked um, And I'm assuming it's
- 4:18Speaker 1: a part of his book promotion. Like I think he's
- 4:20Speaker 1: just like doing things to get out there now because
- 4:23Speaker 1: he has a book coming out in October. I believe. Yeah, yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I think it's on October, So I think it's part
- 4:30Speaker 1: of that. So so then, Um, what did you cook
- 4:33Speaker 1: it's a cooking show, right, it's a surprise, and so
- 4:36Speaker 1: you walk in you have no clue where you're cooking,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and uh, you know some people have to make lasagna,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I think, um, stuff like that. They told us we
- 4:45Speaker 1: had to make our own sausage, which I had never
- 4:48Speaker 1: made my own sausage, but you know, be growing up, um,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and you know I was. I was a hunter growing up,
- 4:55Speaker 1: and so we would you know, harvest our own meat
- 4:58Speaker 1: and you know, grind and makes like summer sausage and
- 5:00Speaker 1: that kind of stuff, or we would have somebody do it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: So I was familiar with the process of what's the
- 5:04Speaker 1: best way and uh. And so I made a wild
- 5:07Speaker 1: boar sausage with pepper and some some cheddar cheese inside
- 5:12Speaker 1: and Nick beat me. Uh, Nick beat me and and
- 5:17Speaker 1: it kind of a shocking turnaround. He was really upset.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Actually you saw it on the show. He was gonna
- 5:21Speaker 1: make Joel his specialty pasta dish. And we had a
- 5:25Speaker 1: competition during the show and I won the competition and
- 5:28Speaker 1: they said, you can steal one ingredient from Nick. Well,
- 5:31Speaker 1: in my mind, I'm like steal his biggest best ingredient, right, Like,
- 5:35Speaker 1: don't steal like the basil. You can get around, you
- 5:38Speaker 1: know basil. So I stole the pasta really threw the
- 5:41Speaker 1: boy off. He was not thrilled. Oh that's awesome. I
- 5:47Speaker 1: can't wait to watch this. I didn't set the DVR,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but I need to watch it and rerun. I could
- 5:52Speaker 1: go on and on about this and the fact that
- 5:54Speaker 1: like Nick is a good cook is and he's really
- 5:58Speaker 1: into it. But there are also times where we all
- 6:01Speaker 1: go over to his house for a barbecue and he's
- 6:04Speaker 1: like the guy who has like buns, a piece of
- 6:06Speaker 1: cheese and the beef, and like there's no toppings and
- 6:09Speaker 1: no condiments, and you're like, um, what's happening. He made
- 6:13Speaker 1: me a pizza. He made me a pizza once. That
- 6:16Speaker 1: was one of the better homemade pizzas I've ever had.
- 6:19Speaker 1: He's a good cook. I mean, I was surprised. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: felt like I held my own and that was kind
- 6:25Speaker 1: of surprising to me. I really thought like I was
- 6:27Speaker 1: going to get crushed and embarrassed all at the same time. Well,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm glad you held your own and I can't wait
- 6:34Speaker 1: to see it all. Right, shall we speak of this
- 6:37Speaker 1: week's Bachelor write episode after this break? Yeah? We should
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm ready for it. Let's go this week's Bachelorette episode.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It's getting down to the nitty gritty. I think that's
- 6:57Speaker 1: what the kids say these days, the nitty you meaning
- 7:00Speaker 1: hometowns is next week and Ashley, We're going to Amsterdam,
- 7:06Speaker 1: a place that I've always been intrigued by because I
- 7:10Speaker 1: have never heard of anybody going to Amsterdam and not
- 7:13Speaker 1: falling in love with it. No, no matter from what perspective,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I know, people think of Amsterdam and they think of
- 7:18Speaker 1: crazy times, which the show kind of highlighted, but the
- 7:21Speaker 1: beauty and the culture, and the coffee shops and the food,
- 7:25Speaker 1: like everybody loves Amsterdam, proud to be touch. There we go.
- 7:32Speaker 1: How did you find that out? Ashley and me? Actually
- 7:35Speaker 1: I just know because my grandparents came from Holland. But yeah,
- 7:39Speaker 1: also twenty three and me with the confirmation. There we go. Uh,
- 7:44Speaker 1: if you haven't listened yet, we had a game show
- 7:46Speaker 1: recorded from this podcast, monstered by twenty three and me.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It's Jeopardy. It's hilarious. Ashley was so into it. It
- 7:52Speaker 1: was so late at night and yet everybody woke up
- 7:55Speaker 1: to play this game. Okay, Ashley, we are getting down
- 7:59Speaker 1: to the final few they are in Amsterdam, the first
- 8:04Speaker 1: date cards get released. The date card goes to Zach
- 8:09Speaker 1: for a one on one, and I want to stop
- 8:11Speaker 1: there with you before I talk about Gabby's one on one. Actually,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I get that every year we have going in this week,
- 8:21Speaker 1: somebody going into hometowns without a one on ones, who
- 8:24Speaker 1: are like, are they going to get the one on
- 8:25Speaker 1: one or not? And then if they don't get it,
- 8:26Speaker 1: we know they're going home. However, was that getting into
- 8:29Speaker 1: two one on ones? You gotta tell me if I'm wrong,
- 8:32Speaker 1: But I don't think Tyler has had a one on
- 8:35Speaker 1: one yet, And this might be the first time I
- 8:38Speaker 1: can remember somebody going to hometowns without actually having any
- 8:42Speaker 1: one on one time with the lead. I think it
- 8:45Speaker 1: is a bachelor first, because how are you supposed to
- 8:49Speaker 1: sit down with your family actually and they're like, tell
- 8:52Speaker 1: us about your time together, tell us about and you're like, yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 1: we actually haven't ever like had time together. Like I
- 9:01Speaker 1: feel her and Tyler, Like, I get it, they're really cute.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I can see them dating, but like to have a
- 9:08Speaker 1: hometown date. That's so bizarre. By hometown dates, like most
- 9:11Speaker 1: people usually have two ones in a standard season. Yeah,
- 9:18Speaker 1: I mean I had one, but then I didn't. I
- 9:20Speaker 1: didn't even make it to hometowns because of the weirdness
- 9:23Speaker 1: of our season. Um we I left and only three
- 9:28Speaker 1: people had hometowns, so I never even had a home here.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Your season was also quite yeah, unconventional because Jared was
- 9:36Speaker 1: supposed to go to hometowns too and he never did
- 9:38Speaker 1: and got Was that a waste to not have Nancy
- 9:42Speaker 1: and Fred Haven on TV? It would have been awesome.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It would have been hilarious. Yeah, that would have been
- 9:50Speaker 1: really great. I would have really enjoyed because I do
- 9:51Speaker 1: know them, I've I've met him now a few times.
- 9:53Speaker 1: It would have been awesome. But people would have been like,
- 9:55Speaker 1: where did Jared come from? Because they like walk in
- 9:59Speaker 1: like there's oh, like that are a huge Boston accents.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And then the Jared has like no dialect anyway, blah
- 10:06Speaker 1: blah blah. Um okay, yeah, and then with Gabby, she
- 10:10Speaker 1: I know, we're kind of backtracking. She does she's had
- 10:14Speaker 1: a date with all the guys that she's taking to home,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but that's because she literally was like, Jesse, can we
- 10:18Speaker 1: take away a rose? Which made total sense. Sure, if um,
- 10:23Speaker 1: if Logan were to stick stick around. Though she may
- 10:26Speaker 1: have brought Logan to Hometowns, which is also super weird.
- 10:30Speaker 1: That's speculative. I mean, now at this point he's had
- 10:33Speaker 1: what two weeks, you'd have one group date with Gabby
- 10:36Speaker 1: before going to hometowns. I think Logan was gone this
- 10:40Speaker 1: week no matter what. I didn't see it working, but
- 10:43Speaker 1: maybe maybe he wasn't. Yeah, he probably was. I just
- 10:48Speaker 1: want to say I think it was, like I do
- 10:50Speaker 1: I find this weird as a weird choice because I
- 10:56Speaker 1: do know how that process works, and you do get
- 10:58Speaker 1: to pick your one on ones out. Sometimes you are
- 11:02Speaker 1: a little confused at how these episodes are lining up,
- 11:06Speaker 1: so you're like, I want to bring this person on
- 11:07Speaker 1: a one on one, and then next week you're like,
- 11:10Speaker 1: let's bring this person there, like you brought her last
- 11:12Speaker 1: week on the last episode, and you're like, no, that
- 11:14Speaker 1: was two weeks. You get confused and the show will
- 11:18Speaker 1: help like be like, no, you can't do that. It's
- 11:20Speaker 1: gonna sound send a bad message or this. But I
- 11:24Speaker 1: feel like this had to be a conscious decision to say, sorry, Tyler,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I still like you, but I want to spend more
- 11:33Speaker 1: time with Zach. So in my mind, I think Tyler
- 11:36Speaker 1: is going home during hometowns Like now is not even
- 11:38Speaker 1: a question to me? Now, I know, I'm I'm jumping
- 11:40Speaker 1: ahead so far, And why even go to his hometown?
- 11:43Speaker 1: That's what I'm wondering. I wanted you to explain this
- 11:45Speaker 1: to me. I don't have an explanation. I feel like
- 11:48Speaker 1: you're more senior in this than I am. You've you've
- 11:51Speaker 1: experienced them too, on your season, your your I would
- 11:55Speaker 1: just be worried. Hometowns were really hard for me because
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's somebody's daughter and you're like asking them permission to
- 12:04Speaker 1: like in the most unconventional way, and it's just awkward
- 12:06Speaker 1: the whole time. Some families are really nice about it
- 12:09Speaker 1: and they totally like get what's going on. But other
- 12:12Speaker 1: families are like pretty protective. But every single family has
- 12:16Speaker 1: the right and the opportunity to like quiz us on, Hey,
- 12:20Speaker 1: where's your relationship at? What have you guys experienced together?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Why do you feel like each other work? I can't
- 12:26Speaker 1: imagine answering that question when I'm like, yeah, we've never
- 12:28Speaker 1: spent time together. I mean we did cocktail parties, like
- 12:31Speaker 1: we've had a few kisses, but like, you can't I
- 12:35Speaker 1: don't know Anyways, we can move on. Seriously, that's as
- 12:38Speaker 1: if I went home or Crystals came to my house
- 12:42Speaker 1: because I was one week. There's one week in between
- 12:45Speaker 1: me getting eliminated in hometowns and that would have been
- 12:47Speaker 1: the weirdest thing ever. I mean, hilarious and amazing, but
- 12:51Speaker 1: also super strange, super weird. So okay, so that's where
- 12:54Speaker 1: he's sitting now. Is that gets a one on one?
- 12:56Speaker 1: As Ashley mentioned, uh, Nate gets a one on one.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Tyler to this point does not have a one on
- 13:02Speaker 1: one uh and Zach has his second so does Nate
- 13:08Speaker 1: has ever had one? Ethan has never had one up
- 13:10Speaker 1: to this point either. So it's got to be kind
- 13:12Speaker 1: of crushing for the two of them. Now, let's start
- 13:15Speaker 1: because it's kind of in order of how we saw
- 13:17Speaker 1: in the show of Gabby's one on one now with Nate.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It doesn't last long, um, but probably the most it
- 13:26Speaker 1: was the most engaged I was through this whole episode.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Was that the same thing, same sing walk us through it. Well,
- 13:34Speaker 1: they're just basically taking a stroll throughout Amsterdam and Gabby
- 13:37Speaker 1: does make a comment. I'm not sure it was at
- 13:40Speaker 1: the top of their date in the middle of the date. Well,
- 13:42Speaker 1: she basically broke up with them in the middle of
- 13:44Speaker 1: the date, but she made a comment as far as
- 13:46Speaker 1: like she's not ready for motherhood. Totally respectable, get it.
- 13:51Speaker 1: You kind of know where it's going as of as
- 13:54Speaker 1: of that comment, but like it just came on really quick,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and I think we were connecting. I don't know if
- 14:03Speaker 1: it was like intentional editing or whatnot, but I was
- 14:06Speaker 1: really connecting to Nate in that moment where I was like,
- 14:09Speaker 1: oh my god, this guy is so sweet. Wait, I
- 14:11Speaker 1: kind of want her to end up with him. I
- 14:13Speaker 1: think that he is my favorite on her team. And
- 14:15Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, boom gone, did you feel
- 14:18Speaker 1: the same? Actually have a problem? Like I were actually
- 14:24Speaker 1: quite sad about this now because I so, I'm so sad.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I wasn't really I thought he was a sweet kid,
- 14:30Speaker 1: but like, what, didn't really have this? I wasn't rooting
- 14:35Speaker 1: for him, and now in that moment, I was rooting
- 14:37Speaker 1: for him, and all of a sudden, I got no
- 14:39Speaker 1: one to root for for Gabby anymore. I like Twitter.
- 14:44Speaker 1: The founder of the show, Mike Flies, had been tweeting
- 14:47Speaker 1: about Nate over the last week because some rumors came
- 14:52Speaker 1: out about him dating two people at once. I never
- 14:55Speaker 1: looked into the rumors because I don't know. I don't
- 14:59Speaker 1: it's always too much. But I did see that these
- 15:03Speaker 1: rumors got posted and then Mike came out to his defense,
- 15:07Speaker 1: and it was pretty clear through the tweets that Mike
- 15:09Speaker 1: was tweeting that like, Nate is gonn consideration to be
- 15:12Speaker 1: the next Bachelor, Like, it was very obvious to me
- 15:15Speaker 1: and I think to most people. And so I already
- 15:18Speaker 1: knew Nate was gone, and I don't like spoilers. I
- 15:21Speaker 1: try to stay away from them. This was just a
- 15:22Speaker 1: random one on Twitter, and so I knew he was gone.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I was expecting this, and so I wasn't like cheering
- 15:30Speaker 1: for him over the last two episodes because I figured
- 15:32Speaker 1: he was just out of there, Like it wasn't somebody
- 15:34Speaker 1: to cheer for for me, Um, this is what happens
- 15:38Speaker 1: when like I do not hit the inner Like yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 1: that's so, that's my perspective. But watching this take every
- 15:46Speaker 1: all that out of stuff away. Um, yeah, I cheered
- 15:50Speaker 1: for the guy, and I felt for Gabby. You know,
- 15:53Speaker 1: Amanda stand was on my season and she had two kids,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and I had to ask myself the question, am I
- 15:58Speaker 1: ready to be a dad? And I think the time
- 16:00Speaker 1: I wasn't ready to say I wasn't like that was
- 16:02Speaker 1: more of my mindset is like who am I as
- 16:05Speaker 1: a person to say that I'm not ready to do this?
- 16:08Speaker 1: Like that is a responsibility. I feel like I want
- 16:11Speaker 1: to have in life that I could do in life,
- 16:13Speaker 1: And if I really care about this person that I'm dating,
- 16:16Speaker 1: then yeah, we could do it together. But it's a
- 16:18Speaker 1: really hard thing. As you're on this show and it
- 16:21Speaker 1: moves so fast and there's so many things to consider,
- 16:24Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, like reality hits and you're like,
- 16:26Speaker 1: when I get off this, I could be a parent.
- 16:29Speaker 1: It gets hard. And so I felt for Gabby because
- 16:32Speaker 1: I think she really likes Nate and I really I
- 16:35Speaker 1: really liked her honesty in this moment where she was
- 16:38Speaker 1: just saying, I'm not in this place in life, and
- 16:41Speaker 1: I want to be because I like you and I
- 16:43Speaker 1: don't want to say goodbye to you. But I have
- 16:45Speaker 1: a lot of things to do on my own, like
- 16:46Speaker 1: healing and uh learning, before I feel comfortable being a mother.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I think she would be fine. Right, all of us
- 16:52Speaker 1: are sitting and going Gabby, like you're gonna be a
- 16:55Speaker 1: great mom. You're gonna be coming from a different place
- 16:58Speaker 1: than a lot of us. She's like very wounded. But
- 17:02Speaker 1: I liked her. I can't even say I liked it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: That feels so cheap. I just respected her true emotion. Definitely, Definitely,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I respected her honesty, and so I felt for her.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Um and Nate, I mean, yeah, I think he cares
- 17:18Speaker 1: about it, and I think he was excited for this
- 17:19Speaker 1: day and excited to see where the future lies. But
- 17:23Speaker 1: I also have a feeling that as a parent going
- 17:25Speaker 1: onto the show, you're prepared to have this said to you,
- 17:30Speaker 1: like you know, this is a part of the package
- 17:33Speaker 1: and you and and as he said early on, if
- 17:35Speaker 1: she's not like ready, I get it, like it still
- 17:40Speaker 1: might hurt. But he handled it really well because I
- 17:42Speaker 1: think he I think he had thought through this before
- 17:46Speaker 1: it happened, like knew this was something that could occur. Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: I feel like I just liked I like the way
- 17:54Speaker 1: that I felt like as if this girl is not
- 17:57Speaker 1: giving excuses, she really true he wants him being here.
- 18:01Speaker 1: She is growing more attached to him all the time.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Because I think a lot of people usually like they'll
- 18:08Speaker 1: say something like that you know, Um, it's this. We're
- 18:11Speaker 1: not in the right place, we're in the same place. Um,
- 18:14Speaker 1: it's not me, you know. She said, it's not it's
- 18:16Speaker 1: not you, it's me, and she goes and I genuinely
- 18:20Speaker 1: mean this, and I really really believe her. I don't.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I don't think she wanted to do it. I think
- 18:25Speaker 1: she just thought, like going into hometowns, it's gonna become
- 18:28Speaker 1: really real that he's a dad and it's just best
- 18:30Speaker 1: to let him go, especially since he's probably been away
- 18:32Speaker 1: from his daughter for so long. It's a bummer. Is
- 18:36Speaker 1: a bummer because I said, just I'm so confused when
- 18:42Speaker 1: this whole scenies, isn't it leading? How are we at
- 18:45Speaker 1: hometowns and I feel like there's no one ready to
- 18:49Speaker 1: get engaged? Well, are we gonna get more time because
- 18:55Speaker 1: like you know, how this has been sped up because
- 18:56Speaker 1: like now because of the groups, because this would have
- 18:58Speaker 1: been weak top eight basically, so then we would have
- 19:02Speaker 1: still had another week in between hometowns, a week or
- 19:06Speaker 1: two more weeks. At the end we have to Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: we have to write, and then we're really going to
- 19:11Speaker 1: start feeling these connections because they'll have spent so much
- 19:16Speaker 1: more time together than your average season. But right now
- 19:20Speaker 1: it feels weird. It feels it feels weird. It feels
- 19:23Speaker 1: I still feel distant from the cast except a select few.
- 19:28Speaker 1: But this moment for for Gabby Nate really brought me in,
- 19:31Speaker 1: which made me excited for the next day, which was
- 19:33Speaker 1: Rachel and Zach because, as we mentioned weeks ago, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: really liked their first one on one. I thought that
- 19:39Speaker 1: video was was cool. It would have made me all
- 19:41Speaker 1: teary eyed, and it's been very emotional. So they have
- 19:44Speaker 1: their second one on one, uh and the beautiful what
- 19:48Speaker 1: is it? It was it a daisy? Is it daisies?
- 19:50Speaker 1: Tulips with the wooden shoes, wooden mills, beautiful day. I
- 19:57Speaker 1: just actually, maybe maybe i'll this will rub people the
- 20:01Speaker 1: wrong way. I don't feel their their connection neither, thank you. Okay,
- 20:08Speaker 1: I feel it, but not not to this point. Like
- 20:11Speaker 1: if I think it was like a normal season, watching
- 20:15Speaker 1: a date like this, I'd be like, Okay, this guy's
- 20:17Speaker 1: probably top top six, top eighty. I just don't have
- 20:22Speaker 1: I mean, I think he's a nice dude, and I
- 20:24Speaker 1: liked them together. I just don't when I watched them,
- 20:30Speaker 1: it just feels kind of like awkward, a little bit
- 20:33Speaker 1: like they don't know, they don't have like a rhythm
- 20:35Speaker 1: yet in their relationship that I feel like at this
- 20:38Speaker 1: point you would already have, especially if the two ones.
- 20:41Speaker 1: He says that he's falling in love with her, and
- 20:44Speaker 1: I am super not to keep saying the word weird
- 20:47Speaker 1: it out, but I'm pretty weird it out, Like I
- 20:49Speaker 1: would be like, holy moly, this is really fast if
- 20:52Speaker 1: I were her. Yeah. I just wonder because there's a
- 20:57Speaker 1: lot of emotions that are starting to come up. This
- 20:59Speaker 1: episod for for a few people. I don't know if
- 21:03Speaker 1: it's the amount of people left, if it's the time spent,
- 21:06Speaker 1: if it's the environment, whatever it is. It feels like
- 21:10Speaker 1: this is we always have that week where people start
- 21:13Speaker 1: dropping the love bombs. Yeah, and and this felt like
- 21:18Speaker 1: the week where people it's usually before hometowns, but this
- 21:21Speaker 1: just doesn't feel right because we've had so much little
- 21:23Speaker 1: time before hometowns. Yeah, but Za gets the rose. Do
- 21:28Speaker 1: we have anything else that you'd like to elaborate on
- 21:30Speaker 1: from this day other than it is beautiful there. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: would love to visit there. Uh. I don't know if
- 21:36Speaker 1: their connection is as strong as warranting to one on ones,
- 21:41Speaker 1: but anything else, I feel like, right now, I'd put
- 21:48Speaker 1: Tyler even ahead of him. Yeah, I think that's fair.
- 21:53Speaker 1: So he's had two days and he's had zero. So
- 21:57Speaker 1: would you would you think next week then Tyler goes
- 22:00Speaker 1: home or is that I don't know, maybe a big
- 22:03Speaker 1: win on Tyler's part when he gets when he goes home,
- 22:06Speaker 1: like maybe she loves his family and the vibes there. Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: but I don't think Zach goes home. I don't know.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I'm actually extremely confused when I look when I stand
- 22:16Speaker 1: back and look at all four guys that Rachel has,
- 22:19Speaker 1: because even is a really good choice too. And I'm
- 22:23Speaker 1: even leaving Tina out of this conversation because in my
- 22:25Speaker 1: head he's already top two. Yeah, I think it's fair.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I mean I think I don't know. We'll talk about
- 22:30Speaker 1: Tino here in a bit, but yeah, yeah, yeah, Okay,
- 22:35Speaker 1: so Gabby. Then next scene is Gabby's group date. Uh.
- 22:40Speaker 1: She had just the night before gone in and talked
- 22:42Speaker 1: to the boys about Nate. She was obviously upset, so
- 22:46Speaker 1: this is a big group date to kind of get
- 22:48Speaker 1: her back on her feet, back out into the time
- 22:52Speaker 1: with the men left. Uh, this group day, as the
- 22:55Speaker 1: men said, this would have been my worst nightmare Ashley. Um,
- 22:59Speaker 1: I mean I just literally said I was celibate, you know,
- 23:02Speaker 1: up until I got married to my wife. Then be
- 23:05Speaker 1: asked these questions have a whipping like I would have
- 23:08Speaker 1: been so uncomfortable. This is the day that everybody has
- 23:13Speaker 1: fun watching and does not want to be on. Like
- 23:17Speaker 1: I enjoyed watching this and trying to figure out what
- 23:20Speaker 1: they were saying between the beeps, and like trying to
- 23:25Speaker 1: guess how many girls that Johnny's actually slept with and
- 23:29Speaker 1: all this stuff. Some people are saying that the franchise
- 23:33Speaker 1: is getting a little bit more sexual because of the
- 23:36Speaker 1: competition shows like Love Island, which is really raunchy. This
- 23:41Speaker 1: maybe was a demonstration of that and the Bachelor in
- 23:43Speaker 1: Paradise poster. Do you see the tagline? Basically, yeah, it's
- 23:48Speaker 1: a lot what it says. Are you DTF with the
- 23:54Speaker 1: two swans on top of each other? I was really
- 23:59Speaker 1: I think they're hugging, but that's fine. Yeah, Okay, the
- 24:03Speaker 1: Flamingoes whatever they are Flamingo Sorry, um ok, but no,
- 24:08Speaker 1: this was it was funny to watch. I do though, Like,
- 24:13Speaker 1: no matter what you're preferences or values are, you know, sexually,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I I thought these guys handled themselves really well and
- 24:24Speaker 1: they kind of rode with it, which I feel like
- 24:25Speaker 1: it's the best way. Um. A lot of last, a
- 24:29Speaker 1: lot of giggles. It's weird to watch though, like because
- 24:34Speaker 1: I still watched this show feeling like I'm watching my
- 24:38Speaker 1: friends and I don't really want to see my friends
- 24:41Speaker 1: like to do this kind of stuff. But I didn't
- 24:45Speaker 1: hate this day. Yeah, I mean neither. You know how
- 24:47Speaker 1: we feel we like of often times are like, oh
- 24:50Speaker 1: my god, why they do that? Like when Kenny and
- 24:53Speaker 1: Mari had that eating off each other day and then
- 24:56Speaker 1: there was that the toe and and and the whip
- 24:59Speaker 1: cream last year. Yeah, and if we're just like no,
- 25:03Speaker 1: gross stop this is not necessary. But this was actually
- 25:07Speaker 1: quite fun for me. Yeah. No, I think there was
- 25:11Speaker 1: a good line and I thought this was an enjoyable
- 25:12Speaker 1: group date to watch. I wouldn't want to be a
- 25:15Speaker 1: part of it. Um. I don't necessarily think the kids
- 25:18Speaker 1: should be viewing this, but it's, uh, you know, it
- 25:22Speaker 1: is what it is. I thought the guys rode with it,
- 25:24Speaker 1: so it does pick up uh gabby spirits. And then
- 25:29Speaker 1: after this group date, Jesse comes to find Gabby to
- 25:35Speaker 1: tell her that Logan has gotten COVID nineteen. Now, we
- 25:39Speaker 1: don't need to sit on this too long because it's
- 25:41Speaker 1: all going to be speculation. But if he had COVID
- 25:45Speaker 1: and he was on this group date, I have two questions,
- 25:48Speaker 1: Where did he get COVID? And then how did not
- 25:51Speaker 1: everybody with Like? How is how are they not freaking
- 25:54Speaker 1: out that every single cast member is gonna be getting COVID.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'm assuming that he must have I don't know. I
- 26:06Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know where would you have gotten it?
- 26:09Speaker 1: And how did it not spread to the other guys
- 26:11Speaker 1: that he was living in such close quarters? Too? Yeah?
- 26:13Speaker 1: I mean those those I'm telling you right now, where
- 26:16Speaker 1: the guys live is probably not the most sanitary, hygienic,
- 26:19Speaker 1: clean environment. Smells a little funky. You're always sitting around
- 26:22Speaker 1: with each other, you know, you're having drinks, you're doing whatever.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I don't know how nobody else didn't get didn't test positive.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And I also don't understand how they were able to
- 26:35Speaker 1: just continue to move forward. I mean, that's what I'm saying.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I don't know, Like they didn't give us a lot
- 26:39Speaker 1: to this other than the fact that he got it
- 26:40Speaker 1: and had to go home. We will have to have
- 26:44Speaker 1: Logan on the podcast and ask him more questions about this. Anybody,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I mean, Jesse Logan, a producer, Rachel Gabby like, we
- 26:52Speaker 1: just gotta know what happened. But he's gone. Here's but
- 26:56Speaker 1: like does he ever say, like, does Jesse ever tell
- 26:59Speaker 1: her he's on and he will be staying on? He didn't.
- 27:02Speaker 1: They didn't say like you're just going to keep him
- 27:04Speaker 1: in the cabin for five days. Well, yeah, they didn't
- 27:07Speaker 1: say a lot. But here's my here's my take, and
- 27:10Speaker 1: disagree with me. I'm watching this as a viewer again. Speculation.
- 27:15Speaker 1: It didn't seem like Gabby was too upset, Like she
- 27:18Speaker 1: didn't seem torn up that like Logan was not going
- 27:22Speaker 1: to be there, which makes me think he was gone
- 27:24Speaker 1: this week anyways, what do you think he was probably
- 27:29Speaker 1: gonna bign okay? And you know, I have a theory
- 27:33Speaker 1: here possibly he was. They like, you know, they still
- 27:37Speaker 1: have to test the cast like all day long, all
- 27:39Speaker 1: the time. They still I think to test the cast
- 27:42Speaker 1: like every day, which is um so maybe there's like
- 27:46Speaker 1: a false positive and they're just like you're out. Yeah,
- 27:51Speaker 1: we're not risking it and then who knows what happened,
- 27:53Speaker 1: They sent him to the mainland off off the cruise. Fair,
- 27:56Speaker 1: fair enough, Well, we'll see, we'll have to ask ruh.
- 28:00Speaker 1: So the next we have Rachel's group date. Really fun
- 28:03Speaker 1: group date there in the cheese capital of the world. Uh.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I loved Ethan being lactose and tolerant because so many
- 28:11Speaker 1: people are, and so it was a hilarious quote. Um,
- 28:16Speaker 1: he was so cute when he said that. I loved it.
- 28:18Speaker 1: And by the way, Holland is known for its gudha,
- 28:22Speaker 1: so it looked kind of like Guda. So that was
- 28:25Speaker 1: a great date too. These are group dates I can
- 28:27Speaker 1: get into. Yeah, So I would say, actually, if you know,
- 28:30Speaker 1: we've been critical of the dates uh in the past,
- 28:34Speaker 1: I would say, so far, the group dates during this
- 28:37Speaker 1: season have been really fun for the most part. There's
- 28:39Speaker 1: some weird ones, right, we haven't seen a ton of
- 28:42Speaker 1: wedding gown outfits and stuff, which you know is always
- 28:45Speaker 1: the most awkward to me. But this, uh, the group
- 28:49Speaker 1: one photo shoot, the one photo shoot we can do without.
- 28:52Speaker 1: We can do without it. But this is a cool one.
- 28:55Speaker 1: They're highlighting the cheese, the culture of the area, which
- 28:58Speaker 1: is what we want to see why. It's why they
- 29:00Speaker 1: travel internationally so that we can see the area little bit.
- 29:04Speaker 1: They got creative when it came to the kind of
- 29:06Speaker 1: weightlifting um game or competition that they did, Tina pulls
- 29:12Speaker 1: it out at the end. It was it was a
- 29:14Speaker 1: hard fought battle. Ethan was there until the end. I Uh,
- 29:20Speaker 1: you know, these dudes are really strong, and I have
- 29:23Speaker 1: a feeling that lasted a really long time. Um, I
- 29:29Speaker 1: would say like an hour and a half. They were
- 29:30Speaker 1: probably you're so lying, are you kidding me? I think minutes? No,
- 29:36Speaker 1: I probably took I think it took a long time.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And I mean, how much was that cheese? Make? No,
- 29:41Speaker 1: I don't remember the pounded, but if we let's pretend
- 29:44Speaker 1: each one wade twenty pounds that's and it was like
- 29:50Speaker 1: up to how many on each side? Like four? Yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 1: I feel that's eighty pounds on each side. After ten minutes,
- 29:58Speaker 1: maybe you might be right. It'll be a long time.
- 30:00Speaker 1: That's that's a long time. It was sweaty, it was
- 30:03Speaker 1: hot as uncomfortable, but they pulled it through. Tino pulled
- 30:06Speaker 1: it through. Uh. And this is where the second most
- 30:09Speaker 1: interesting part of the show occurs. To me. We go
- 30:13Speaker 1: to the group date, uh, cocktail party. It's a normal
- 30:18Speaker 1: group date cocktail party. Everybody's kind of saying what they
- 30:20Speaker 1: feel and they think, and they's kissing and there's laughing,
- 30:23Speaker 1: blah blah yeah, dazed out. Yeah. And then we get
- 30:27Speaker 1: to the end and Tyler gets the rose and I
- 30:34Speaker 1: he's a friend of mine, So I feel like, no, no, no,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I feel like I can say this. Next sent Tino
- 30:40Speaker 1: has a Sean Booth moment where it feels like he
- 30:46Speaker 1: loses his cool and it also and again I think,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I still think Tina and Rachel can make a good couple,
- 30:55Speaker 1: and I I like Tino, but this was a moment
- 30:59Speaker 1: where it felt a little bit like you've lost yourself
- 31:01Speaker 1: in this process. Why do you feel like you deserve
- 31:06Speaker 1: the rose? Again? Like, I mean, we know from social
- 31:10Speaker 1: media Tino's watches the show with his family. Yeah that's right.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I heard that this week too, that like he would
- 31:16Speaker 1: idolize Tyler Cameron. Yeah, because he's a construction worker and stuff. Um,
- 31:21Speaker 1: but he makes some statements during this like I hit
- 31:24Speaker 1: all the notes right, Like he had a checklist of
- 31:27Speaker 1: things he had to do that, um, which you know
- 31:31Speaker 1: last season we got really mad at a guy for
- 31:33Speaker 1: having a checklist on what what's the right and wrong
- 31:35Speaker 1: things to do? We kicked them off the show week
- 31:36Speaker 1: one or two or whatever it was, for having a
- 31:39Speaker 1: playbook that was weird. And then it felt um, it
- 31:44Speaker 1: felt like he had never seen the show, like he
- 31:46Speaker 1: had to have known the other people are gonna get
- 31:49Speaker 1: a group day Rose and it has nothing to be
- 31:52Speaker 1: said about where your relationships at. It's just part of
- 31:54Speaker 1: the process. I think this is a moment that lots
- 31:57Speaker 1: of things, but to answer this, he was a moment
- 32:00Speaker 1: where he truly just got wrapped up in the moment.
- 32:04Speaker 1: And even even I, as somebody who watched the show
- 32:09Speaker 1: for five years before I was on it, there was
- 32:12Speaker 1: a group date that I'm particularly remembering that I was
- 32:15Speaker 1: just like, what PLA, just like not really remembering that,
- 32:19Speaker 1: Like a lot of this is not like game play,
- 32:23Speaker 1: but like you you spread it out, you spread the
- 32:26Speaker 1: wealth here, you have to, Yeah, you have to. Okay,
- 32:30Speaker 1: So there's that, Like I think he just kind of
- 32:32Speaker 1: got lost in it, even as a fan. But there's
- 32:36Speaker 1: a difference between Sean me watching Sean on you that
- 32:39Speaker 1: season versus me watching Tino. And everybody knows that I'm like, so,
- 32:44Speaker 1: I've been such a fan of Tino. I'm just so
- 32:46Speaker 1: drawn whenever the two of them are together, I find,
- 32:49Speaker 1: you know, like he like what I'll just say the
- 32:52Speaker 1: way it is, Tino is very much my type. So
- 32:57Speaker 1: like if he if I were the bachelorette, I'd be like,
- 33:00Speaker 1: holy moly, this man is so hot and he's swap right.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And this is the difference between what I saw between
- 33:09Speaker 1: Sean and Tina right now. And this is me saying
- 33:12Speaker 1: it as somebody who's been rooting on for Tino. Sean
- 33:16Speaker 1: it felt like he was in love and this was
- 33:20Speaker 1: he was in the leading man role and that was
- 33:22Speaker 1: my girl. Blah blah blah. To me, the vibes that
- 33:26Speaker 1: I'm getting from Tino in this moment is he's an
- 33:29Speaker 1: f boy. This is an f boy that is not
- 33:32Speaker 1: getting his way, that his apparently is not getting the
- 33:35Speaker 1: girl's attention fully and he is shocked by that. Well,
- 33:40Speaker 1: I think you can see it two ways. It has
- 33:42Speaker 1: to be one of two ways. Either he is in
- 33:44Speaker 1: the Sean Booth moment where he is in love and
- 33:46Speaker 1: he's just not saying it yet, and so he's freaking
- 33:48Speaker 1: out like this is my girl. And I have to
- 33:50Speaker 1: see this happen or his mind is in a totally
- 33:53Speaker 1: different place. It's one of the two, I think. I don't.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think you have this reaction unless
- 33:58Speaker 1: you feel strongly one way or another. I know. It
- 34:01Speaker 1: just feels like he's the guy that wants to win, win, win,
- 34:04Speaker 1: and it's a competition for him right now. And that's
- 34:06Speaker 1: just how I That's just how I feel. Because with Sean,
- 34:09Speaker 1: he like eluded this warmth. I think he's a great comparison,
- 34:12Speaker 1: which is why I keep bringing it back. He was
- 34:14Speaker 1: like eluding this warmth, like that's my girl, that's my girl.
- 34:17Speaker 1: And then like with Tino, whether it's word choice or
- 34:20Speaker 1: just overall me getting pisces vibes like me vibe in him.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I just it's not coming across to me as romantic jealousy.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It's just competite, like I am a man and I
- 34:33Speaker 1: must win her type jealousy. Yeah, I don't, I mean
- 34:36Speaker 1: there is I can't disagree with you. I will say
- 34:40Speaker 1: I expect this to turn for him. Oh, I don't,
- 34:45Speaker 1: you don't know. I think it's the beginning of the end. Oh.
- 34:52Speaker 1: I have this theory now and I'm not spoiled at all. Guys.
- 34:57Speaker 1: My theory is that she has ain't done it being
- 35:01Speaker 1: him the entire time, and something she sees more and
- 35:05Speaker 1: more of what we saw, and then she gets down
- 35:09Speaker 1: to the end and she doesn't think she can't do it.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Oh okay, Well it's a storyline to follow. I cannot believe.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I cannot believe that being the scenario that plays out,
- 35:21Speaker 1: But I now get it, like I get where you're
- 35:23Speaker 1: coming from, h Ashley. We have the Tina moment which
- 35:28Speaker 1: leads us into the Rose ceremony. Nothing fully shocking here
- 35:33Speaker 1: to me. Uh, obviously Ethan is going home, and also
- 35:40Speaker 1: Spencer goes home. I mean the most obvious of things.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even know if I heard Spencer
- 35:46Speaker 1: talk yet this. No, I don't know Spencer at all.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Is am I crazy? But like no, Spencer had like
- 35:52Speaker 1: a little group date moment a couple of weeks ago.
- 35:54Speaker 1: That was it um And Ethan seems awesome, Like I
- 35:58Speaker 1: would really like to see him in Paradise. He's fun.
- 36:01Speaker 1: And I just want to say with Tino, like I'm
- 36:03Speaker 1: still hoping this happens because I feel like the chemistry
- 36:06Speaker 1: is off the charts. But oh, and I'm sorry to
- 36:09Speaker 1: go back to that. But I also feel like can
- 36:12Speaker 1: Tino kind of like chemistry with like any girl, Like
- 36:15Speaker 1: I feel like he can just have like he alludes
- 36:18Speaker 1: that that essence of that's those an f boy is right.
- 36:22Speaker 1: You make every girl feel like the only girl in
- 36:24Speaker 1: the room for like a night. Oh who is that?
- 36:28Speaker 1: Is that a songline? No? Thank you? I thought you're
- 36:32Speaker 1: just quoting a song. No. I'm still rooting for them,
- 36:35Speaker 1: and I hope I'm totally wrong. I really hope I'm wrong.
- 36:38Speaker 1: And if Tino, if you get word wind of this,
- 36:40Speaker 1: like I'm rooting for you, We're all rooting for you,
- 36:44Speaker 1: so you better pull through. Step it up, buddy, step
- 36:47Speaker 1: it up. Um. All right, that's the breakdown of this
- 36:50Speaker 1: week's episode. We're moving on to hometowns. Gabbing. Rachel will
- 36:54Speaker 1: be both doing hometowns separately, obviously with their chosen men. Actuley,
- 37:11Speaker 1: we got Bachelor headlines, let's jump into it. Here is
- 37:14Speaker 1: the first Bachelor headline. Caitlin Bristow says she and Jason
- 37:20Speaker 1: Tartik are struggling with wedding planning. Were so different this
- 37:24Speaker 1: according to US Weekly. Now, Ashley, before you start, I
- 37:27Speaker 1: do want to say that Caitlin Bristow did come on
- 37:30Speaker 1: Instagram today and uh speak more about what she said here.
- 37:35Speaker 1: They did not push back their wedding because they never
- 37:39Speaker 1: had a date for their wedding. They're having a hard
- 37:41Speaker 1: time finding a venue that they both agree upon and
- 37:44Speaker 1: they both really like um and so they're working through
- 37:48Speaker 1: that right now. But according to this article tell us
- 37:51Speaker 1: what's going on. Also, according to Jason when we were
- 37:54Speaker 1: in Tahoe, it seems like it's not just the actual
- 37:58Speaker 1: venue that there is a little debate on. There's also
- 38:02Speaker 1: just like what state it'll be in. So basically Jason
- 38:06Speaker 1: wants it over the top, grandiose wedding and Caitlin could
- 38:11Speaker 1: probably have it. She'd rather be a little bit more intimate.
- 38:15Speaker 1: She just says different styles of her taste. It's like
- 38:18Speaker 1: everything they almost don't agree on when it comes to
- 38:21Speaker 1: wedding planning, and it's really frustrating. Um. She says, like
- 38:24Speaker 1: she'll find a venue and love it and it's open available,
- 38:27Speaker 1: and then it's just like he's like, no, not at all.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And they wanted to get in married. They wanted to
- 38:33Speaker 1: get married this coming New Year's Eve, and like, while
- 38:36Speaker 1: she says that it's still could could happen. It would
- 38:39Speaker 1: really only happen if he'd be like down to have
- 38:42Speaker 1: a courthouse like backyard style wedding, and that is just
- 38:46Speaker 1: like not what he wants. So it's a prediction. This
- 38:51Speaker 1: is a predicula. But there's not trouble in paradise according
- 38:53Speaker 1: to Tho with him, they seem very good and happy.
- 38:56Speaker 1: It's just weddings are hard to figure out, and once
- 38:59Speaker 1: you do, it's a lot of on But they're not
- 39:01Speaker 1: pushing back their wedding as some reports have said. They
- 39:04Speaker 1: just never had a date, so they're trying to figure
- 39:06Speaker 1: it out. Well. Speaking of Bachelor Nation couples, this one
- 39:09Speaker 1: is shocking to me. This one shocking, shocking, absolutely shocking
- 39:13Speaker 1: because of the things said about each other, uh and
- 39:16Speaker 1: because of how it felt like it ended. But here's
- 39:18Speaker 1: the headline. Actually, Bachelor Nations Peter Webber and Kelly Flannagan
- 39:23Speaker 1: spotted together nearly two years after breakup. This according to
- 39:26Speaker 1: e Holy moly, it's been two years. That can't be
- 39:32Speaker 1: two years either way. This is all so shocking because yes,
- 39:37Speaker 1: they have kind of thrown jabs at each other lots
- 39:40Speaker 1: of shade since their breakup, and now they've been spotted
- 39:44Speaker 1: and it's not like they've been spotted like some big
- 39:46Speaker 1: bachelor hang. It seems like they've been spotted one on
- 39:50Speaker 1: one with each other in Chicago. Uh. They were at
- 39:56Speaker 1: a at a Chicago Cubs game on August end and
- 40:02Speaker 1: basically they were photographed together like walking the walking the stadium,
- 40:07Speaker 1: and there was even somebody who asked for a picture,
- 40:11Speaker 1: and the two of them took a picture with this
- 40:13Speaker 1: person and it's been uploaded online. Now neither person, neither
- 40:18Speaker 1: person's rep has commented to the News they have reps. Yeah,
- 40:26Speaker 1: I know, right, who's my rep? No? I don't have
- 40:29Speaker 1: a rep. Need a REP? I mean I have I
- 40:32Speaker 1: have an agent. But do I have a rep? No,
- 40:33Speaker 1: I don't have a PR. Person. I need somebody speak
- 40:36Speaker 1: for me. You that you know why you don't have one,
- 40:40Speaker 1: because you speak just fine for yourself. You're I've only
- 40:44Speaker 1: gotten myself into trouble handful of times. Um. Speaking of trouble,
- 40:48Speaker 1: Nick Vile thinks Rachel is prioritizing all the wrong things.
- 40:53Speaker 1: He quotes. This is not a popularity contest, according to people.
- 40:58Speaker 1: M okay, so he said, I honestly think Rachel she
- 41:01Speaker 1: seems great, but I think she's prioritizing all the wrong
- 41:04Speaker 1: things right now. Um. She said that her focus. She said,
- 41:11Speaker 1: you know, you go onto dating apps and you're swiping
- 41:13Speaker 1: right and that indicates interest. And every time you swipe
- 41:17Speaker 1: right and you don't get an immediate match, there's like
- 41:20Speaker 1: a sense of rejection. Okay, I understand that he doesn't.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Oftentimes will focus on the rejection rather than the connections
- 41:26Speaker 1: that we're making, and it seems like that is what
- 41:28Speaker 1: Rachel is focused on right now. Um. He also talked
- 41:33Speaker 1: a little bit about the connection with Tino, and he
- 41:37Speaker 1: says that he continues to be extremely vulnerable, um, even
- 41:43Speaker 1: when it's really hard. He also feels like, um, Rachel
- 41:49Speaker 1: would benefit from viewing rejection in the future as clarity
- 41:54Speaker 1: rather than disappointment. He was at the end of the day,
- 41:57Speaker 1: it's not a popularity contest. It's not about fine th
- 42:00Speaker 1: ten guys that you're into or five guys you're into.
- 42:04Speaker 1: It's about finding one person. And this is some classic
- 42:08Speaker 1: Nick advice where I'm like, yeah, I'm not in my head.
- 42:11Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, you're right, you're right, you're right. But
- 42:13Speaker 1: also Nick's advice is always really hard to take. It's
- 42:19Speaker 1: really hard to be the person that is the subject
- 42:22Speaker 1: of Nick's advice because he doesn't sugarcoat it. He does
- 42:27Speaker 1: say it how it is a lot and there's a
- 42:30Speaker 1: lot of truth in what he's saying right now, but
- 42:32Speaker 1: he's also like looking at it very logically and not
- 42:36Speaker 1: taking like a lot of heart and emotion into it.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I can't disagree with him. I just, um, yeah, you
- 42:43Speaker 1: can't disagree with him. He's he's right here. He's right
- 42:46Speaker 1: in a sense. I would say, I don't know what
- 42:49Speaker 1: Rachel's thinking, and I get that, like your confidence does
- 42:51Speaker 1: get shot a little bit too, Like I don't want
- 42:54Speaker 1: to dismiss the fact that, like, yes, she's just she's
- 42:57Speaker 1: just hurting. Like it's a weird environ room and there's
- 43:00Speaker 1: a lot going on, That's what I mean. Like, there's
- 43:03Speaker 1: a lot of emotion going on, and this is such
- 43:05Speaker 1: a logical comment, and it's just hard to It's hard
- 43:08Speaker 1: to be logical and an during the Bachelor. I mean
- 43:12Speaker 1: it's just hard. You're there's a thousand things getting thrown
- 43:14Speaker 1: at you and then yeah, you're throwing another you know,
- 43:17Speaker 1: bachelor at lead, and yeah, it's hard to be logical
- 43:21Speaker 1: and love Hey. Actually big news in Bachelor Nation, Hannah
- 43:28Speaker 1: and Sluice Uh and Boyfriend introduced new member of their family,
- 43:33Speaker 1: meet our newest edition, Dash their puppy. Big deal. Celebrate
- 43:40Speaker 1: that right, big deal because if you get if you're
- 43:42Speaker 1: gonna pet together, that means you gotta be in it
- 43:44Speaker 1: for the long haul, in it for the long. Okay.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Final headline of this week is the one that I
- 43:49Speaker 1: kind of teased earlier. Bachelor at star Nate Mitchell responds
- 43:53Speaker 1: to claims he two timed women. Now, this is what
- 43:57Speaker 1: Mike Flice was tweeting about. Um, I we can talk
- 44:02Speaker 1: about it now because Nate is obviously off the show
- 44:04Speaker 1: and Mike Flice's tweets were very obvious that they're at
- 44:08Speaker 1: least considering him to be the next lead. And I
- 44:10Speaker 1: think that's just a given. Now. He wouldn't have been
- 44:13Speaker 1: defensive over him or cared at all with the public
- 44:16Speaker 1: thought of unless he was being considered No, exactly. So Ashley,
- 44:20Speaker 1: what's going on here? Can you now explain this to me?
- 44:22Speaker 1: Because I don't get it? So he said, this is
- 44:26Speaker 1: what what Nate said on Instagram. He said, two sides
- 44:33Speaker 1: to every story, prayer hands or high five hands, whatever
- 44:37Speaker 1: you interpreted at us. Do you think it's high five
- 44:39Speaker 1: hands or do you think it's prayer hands? Prayer hands.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a Christian, and pretty much some people
- 44:45Speaker 1: think that's high five hands. I don't know. I mean,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I just I feel like every Christian text message him on,
- 44:50Speaker 1: like if it's like a church text message, like those
- 44:52Speaker 1: are like used so often, Like people just must be
- 44:56Speaker 1: praying all the time about the most praying stuff. Well,
- 45:00Speaker 1: earlier I said, can we move the podcast back ten minutes?
- 45:03Speaker 1: Prayer hands? So you know you know where I stand. Okay, anyway,
- 45:07Speaker 1: so he goes two sides to every story, wish you
- 45:10Speaker 1: the best, um, And then a fan asked why you
- 45:14Speaker 1: playing girls? And that is basically all we get. I mean,
- 45:24Speaker 1: this is a kind of like a Reality Steve thing.
- 45:28Speaker 1: So this girl claimed to Reality Steve that Nate had
- 45:34Speaker 1: two timed her with a woman. This is Kelsey claiming
- 45:38Speaker 1: that he was two timing her with a woman named
- 45:42Speaker 1: law Laurie Um, and they she shared direct messages that
- 45:48Speaker 1: led her to believe that Nate was being unfaithful. And
- 45:53Speaker 1: then she said to Reality Steve, I wish Nate all
- 45:57Speaker 1: the best. I don't want to affect his future, but
- 46:03Speaker 1: it's important for me to try and prevent another girl
- 46:05Speaker 1: from being blindsided by his secrecies. So this woman previously
- 46:12Speaker 1: alleged that Nate hid his daughter from her, though he
- 46:17Speaker 1: proudly spoke about his role as father, you know, on
- 46:20Speaker 1: the one on one date. And that's that's what we
- 46:23Speaker 1: got here. Um, okay, so now you know, you know, yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 1: I mean, there's no like, there's no follow up to
- 46:30Speaker 1: this other than hey, I don't know if it's real.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I don't know if it's true. I mean I would
- 46:35Speaker 1: assume that you know, there's something to it because Nate
- 46:38Speaker 1: said there's two times, two sides every story. He didn't say,
- 46:41Speaker 1: I don't even know this person, but we don't know
- 46:43Speaker 1: the other side. We don't know the other side, right,
- 46:45Speaker 1: there's two top sides every story. Great, we just don't
- 46:48Speaker 1: on the other side. Um, but it is, And I mean,
- 46:51Speaker 1: I think one of the interesting things that came from
- 46:53Speaker 1: this was that, you know, Mike Flies really went out
- 46:56Speaker 1: and protected Nate. I mean, yeah, So the girl, what's
- 47:00Speaker 1: her name, Kelsey? She said that she cried for a
- 47:04Speaker 1: guy who kept his kid a secret from me for
- 47:08Speaker 1: one and a half years. When we were dating and
- 47:10Speaker 1: I found out on reality TV. So I guess I
- 47:13Speaker 1: wonder one half years. Okay, so this gives us a
- 47:15Speaker 1: little more context. They were together for a year and
- 47:17Speaker 1: a half. Now she said she he hid the kid,
- 47:23Speaker 1: kept the kid a secret. At first, I was thinking like, oh,
- 47:26Speaker 1: he never wanted her to meet the daughter. That I
- 47:30Speaker 1: can understand, you know, maybe that he really wanted the girl,
- 47:34Speaker 1: the daughter to only meet people he was super serious about.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Maybe he wasn't super serious about this girl. But to
- 47:40Speaker 1: say that she didn't She didn't even know that he
- 47:44Speaker 1: had a kid until she found out on reality TV.
- 47:49Speaker 1: That's that's that is wild. I don't know why you'd
- 47:52Speaker 1: make this up. It's shocking. That would be Uh, that'd
- 47:55Speaker 1: be an interesting Monday night when you're like, oh, there's
- 47:58Speaker 1: my ex. Oh whoa my ex says is I don't
- 48:01Speaker 1: know how five year older or whatever. But uh, anyways,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I don't even know if it's a story to follow.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I don't know where it goes. I don't know if
- 48:09Speaker 1: it's over. I don't know what happens. But it's out there.
- 48:12Speaker 1: That happened this week. That's all we have for you today.
- 48:15Speaker 1: On The Almost Famous Podcast, it's a big episode. We
- 48:18Speaker 1: hope you enjoyed it. We'll be back next week breaking
