- 0:15Speaker 3: Thanks Mark?
- 0:15Speaker 2: How are you doing?
- 0:16Speaker 4: You have a cold or a flu or you.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Don't know yet? Right? Do I sound stuffed up? Yes?
- 0:21Speaker 3: You do?
- 0:22Speaker 2: Allergies, I think.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Oh, well, I hope you feel better.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Huh I feel fine?
- 0:28Speaker 4: Oh okay, okay, Well I hope your allergies go away.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Then listen.
- 0:33Speaker 4: I have a question that has absolutely nothing to do
- 0:35Speaker 4: with you, and maybe you like to remain a mystery
- 0:38Speaker 4: because it's intriguing. But when you go on vacation, what
- 0:41Speaker 4: kind of places do you go to? Not where you're
- 0:43Speaker 4: going to go next, but like, what do you do
- 0:46Speaker 4: for enjoyment when you're not when you're on vacation for
- 0:48Speaker 4: two weeks?
- 0:50Speaker 2: Actually, I don't enjoy it that much.
- 0:53Speaker 5: I used to like to go to Florida, but you
- 0:55Speaker 5: can't go there now because it's all people from New York.
- 0:57Speaker 5: It's the same people you see in New York, only
- 1:00Speaker 5: now they're in shorts.
- 1:01Speaker 2: It just it doesn't work out.
- 1:03Speaker 4: So basically, you like the warm weather in the winter,
- 1:05Speaker 4: you don't go skiing. You can never say anything about
- 1:08Speaker 4: what you do except you talk about restaurants that you
- 1:10Speaker 4: go to, which is fine because I'm listening. But you know,
- 1:13Speaker 4: I was just wondering anyway, I think you have the
- 1:15Speaker 4: best show on the radio. There's no butt, there's no nothing.
- 1:18Speaker 5: All right, thanks he anybody goes skiing, it's got to
- 1:21Speaker 5: be nuts. Can you imagine a ski trip? Can you
- 1:24Speaker 5: imagine paying to go somewhere where it's colder than where
- 1:27Speaker 5: you are? You imagine paying to go somewhere where there's
- 1:29Speaker 5: a foot of snow? I mean, who would? But there
- 1:32Speaker 5: are people that love it. Let's go to Kathy in
- 1:34Speaker 5: North Carolina. Kathy, how you doing?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Hi?
- 1:37Speaker 6: Happy New Year? All to talk reporting from the DOJ
- 1:43Speaker 6: of the US Attorney's Office of the Southern District of
- 1:46Speaker 6: New York that I've been hearing all these years. Imagine
- 1:48Speaker 6: my amazement when I got a correspondence from them and
- 1:51Speaker 6: it was real. It's not a scam, But I wanted
- 1:53Speaker 6: to know if you knew about this story. Apparently I'm
- 1:56Speaker 6: a victim. This is a big New York City story
- 1:59Speaker 6: about modest needs charity that I belonged to, UH and
- 2:04Speaker 6: it was a strictly New York City based charity, and
- 2:08Speaker 6: the founder of it, doctor Keith Taylor, apparently took all
- 2:12Speaker 6: of our money and misused it and stole it over
- 2:16Speaker 6: all these years of giving it. Have you ever heard
- 2:18Speaker 6: of the Modest Needs?
- 2:19Speaker 2: No, you got a letter and this was alleged by
- 2:22Speaker 2: the US Attorney.
- 2:25Speaker 6: Oh, they were it's a criminal case. They found him guilty.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Apparently they are looking for I guess I don't know
- 2:30Speaker 6: if they're looking for impact statements. But I'm a victim,
- 2:33Speaker 6: so they have to notify me that he was I
- 2:35Speaker 6: guess cutting a deal or whatever. But it's huge, Like, be.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Very careful when you give money to a charity. A
- 2:42Speaker 5: lot of them are not legitimately.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I know that it was such a good charity, I thought,
- 2:46Speaker 6: and it.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Was only based You got to really check them out.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You got to go to it. There's all kinds of
- 2:49Speaker 2: places you can check out of charity.
- 2:51Speaker 6: Have you never really heard of Modest Needs? It was
- 2:53Speaker 6: based only in New York City. Gosh, but you know
- 2:56Speaker 6: everything mark don't money.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Or charity unless you really thoroughly check it out. I'm
- 3:03Speaker 5: on the board of the Police Athletic League, the New
- 3:05Speaker 5: York City one not the other ones. New York City
- 3:07Speaker 5: one one of the finest charities. You can be sure
- 3:10Speaker 5: all the money goes the right place. Salvation Army is
- 3:12Speaker 5: one of the great charities.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Very good.
- 3:15Speaker 5: There's a lot of good ones. Don't give to those
- 3:17Speaker 5: bad ones. Let's go to Paul in Beth Page. Paul,
- 3:21Speaker 5: how you doing.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark. I was listening to the radio.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Guys had a little skit about some council person or
- 3:29Speaker 4: someone who works with the.
- 3:30Speaker 2: New York City Council got arrested out.
- 3:33Speaker 3: In Long Island by ice.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Do you know anything in there about that?
- 3:38Speaker 5: Well, I know there was somebody arrested by ice in
- 3:41Speaker 5: Long Island and they're saying that the Democrats are saying
- 3:45Speaker 5: this person has absolutely no criminal anything. There's no reason
- 3:48Speaker 5: for him to be maybe here illegal, but no reason
- 3:50Speaker 5: to arrest him. And then Tom Holman is saying they
- 3:53Speaker 5: did have a former arrest, a prior arrest for the guy.
- 3:56Speaker 5: But we'll wait and see. I usually find if you
- 3:59Speaker 5: trust Tom home and you'll come out. Okay. Let's go
- 4:03Speaker 5: to John and Norwalk. John, how you doing very well?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Thank you, Mark? And there's the you know, we really
- 4:09Speaker 3: miss sharing. Michael Goodwin Holt he comes back soon.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, we hope to get him back soon.
- 4:12Speaker 3: He's just not yeah feeling So this is sort of silly.
- 4:14Speaker 3: But why don't they just hold a plebi site in
- 4:16Speaker 3: Minnesota and let tampalm Tim decide whether they wanted hitting
- 4:20Speaker 3: federal or not and disclose them.
- 4:22Speaker 2: What do you want him to hold in Minnesota a.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Plebi site to vote?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Oh, you can't just say vote an election?
- 4:28Speaker 5: He said, plebiscite. Now I got to go get a dictionary.
- 4:30Speaker 5: We all got to look this up to see what
- 4:32Speaker 5: the hell up? What the hell is AUP clever site.
- 4:34Speaker 5: I can't just say a vote.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Well, I'm trying to be cool.
- 4:38Speaker 5: I don't think it's the let's just say vote, Although
- 4:41Speaker 5: I could, so you could do that. I could try
- 4:43Speaker 5: that out on people. I just say I'm looking to
- 4:45Speaker 5: have a plebiscite, and then everybody looks at you like
- 4:48Speaker 5: you're either very smart or you're nuts. A PLEBA site anyway,
- 4:52Speaker 5: Thanks for Colin. Let's go to David in New Jersey. David,
- 4:55Speaker 5: how you doing, Hay, good.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Morning, Mark. I have a solution for the nurses strike. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 1: saying that the cost of living so high in New York,
- 5:06Speaker 1: they need more pay I think that everyone should just
- 5:08Speaker 1: take a break for six months, and Mam Donnie's gonna
- 5:10Speaker 1: bring all the cost of living down. Everyone's gonna be
- 5:13Speaker 1: saving two three thousand dollars a month. Problem solved.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Well, actually, uh, President Trump is bringing the cost of
- 5:19Speaker 5: living down. The big beautiful bill finally kicks in this month,
- 5:23Speaker 5: and you'll start to see more money in your paycheck,
- 5:25Speaker 5: less taxes. Nurses strikes a big deal. It's a lot
- 5:28Speaker 5: fifteen thousand people out on strike, and Mom Donnie out
- 5:31Speaker 5: there in the picket line with him. I don't know,
- 5:36Speaker 5: it's one thing to support them. I don't know if
- 5:37Speaker 5: you're supposed to be out there picketing with him, Mom
- 5:39Speaker 5: Donnie on the picket line.
- 5:40Speaker 2: These executives are not having difficulty making ends meet, but
- 5:44Speaker 2: for too many got.
- 5:44Speaker 3: To do it.
- 5:45Speaker 5: In the next hour, he's yelling and screaming about the
- 5:47Speaker 5: hospital executives and how much money they make.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Uh.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Anyway, we'll get to that coming up. But when coming
- 5:53Speaker 5: up next we'll talk to Bill O'Reilly. Lots of discuss
- 5:56Speaker 5: with him in just a moment. On seven to ten,
- 5:59Speaker 5: w
