Lucas: Water in Amharic is ውሃ. Luna: ውሃ. Lucas: Yes, ውሃ. And juice is ጭማቂ. Luna: ጭማቂ. Lucas: Good. Now, if you want to order water, you say ውሃ እፈልጋለሁ. Luna: ውሃ እፈልጋለሁ — I want water. Lucas: Exactly. And for juice, it's ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. Luna: ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. So 'I want water' and 'I want juice'. Lucas: You got it. Let's practice a quick scene. Imagine we're at a café. The server asks what you'd like. How would you say 'I want juice'? Luna: ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: Perfect. And if you want water? Luna: ውሃ እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: Great. Now, what if someone offers you a choice? They might ask: ውሃ ወይስ ጭማቂ? — Water or juice? Luna: ውሃ ወይስ ጭማቂ? That's a useful question. So if they ask me, I can say ውሃ እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: Exactly. Let's do a quick roleplay. I'll ask: ውሃ ወይስ ጭማቂ? Luna: ጭማቂ እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: Nice. You chose juice. Let's reverse. I'll ask again: ውሃ ወይስ ጭማቂ? Luna: ውሃ እፈልጋለሁ. Lucas: There you go. You've got both down. Now, let me tell you something.
