- 0:01Luke chapter 18. Let us pray, O Heavenly Father.
- 0:09Thank you, Lord, for another day.
- 0:12Thank you Lord for waking us up this morning.
- 0:14We thank you, Lord, for all the many things that you do for us
- 0:18each and every day. Thank you God for life and life
- 0:21abundant. Thank you Lord, for our
- 0:23families. Thank you, Lord, for our
- 0:26abilities. Thank you, Lord, that you've
- 0:29given us the full counsel of your word.
- 0:32Thank you, Lord, that we know that it is trustworthy, it is
- 0:36true, it is reliable, and Lord, it is useful, God.
- 0:43And I thank you, God, that you have revealed to us that you are
- 0:47coming back, and Lord, that you have a plan for the ages.
- 0:51And Lord, that plan is good. So, Lord, we rest in the
- 0:56finished work of the cross we rest, and the promises contained
- 1:01in this book. We rest, Father, knowing that
- 1:04you are holding everything together and that nothing is
- 1:09missed on you and that it's all moving in accordance to your
- 1:13plan. And God, you've seen the
- 1:15beginning from the end and the end from the beginning.
- 1:18And so God, we as your little flock, we as your sheep, Father,
- 1:23we hear your voice. Help us to obey God, Help us to
- 1:28love you more. Help us to know you more.
- 1:31Help us to trust you more. God, I pray against all of the
- 1:37negative voices, Lord, that are trying to pull us into all of
- 1:44the world and all of the world systems and the way that the
- 1:47world works. God, I pray, Lord, that we will
- 1:51see Your Word as reliable and true and that we don't have to
- 1:56succumb to all of the negative things that are pulling us away.
- 2:03Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus that You will strengthen
- 2:06us for this day. Lord, strengthen us for this
- 2:10hour. Help us, God, to put on the full
- 2:13armor today. Help us to put on truth.
- 2:17Help us to put on righteousness. Help us to put on peace.
- 2:22Help us to put on salvation. God, help us to increase our
- 2:27faith and to do war with the Word.
- 2:30So, God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you help us.
- 2:33Lord, help us today. We are in desperate need of a
- 2:36touch from you. Lord, heal our bodies.
- 2:39Heal our minds. Lord, I pray you'll heal our
- 2:44senses. Lord, I pray that we will not be
- 2:48depressed, Lord, or anxious. God, I pray against the suicidal
- 2:53spirit. Father, I pray in the name of
- 2:55Jesus against the squeezing God of the Spirit of asphyxiation,
- 3:04Lord, of all the things that are trying to draw us away from you.
- 3:09So, Lord God, I pray you'll strengthen us for this hour,
- 3:12strengthen us for this day. Help us, Lord, help us to see
- 3:17you correctly. Help us to see you rightly.
- 3:19Help us to know that you're fighting our battles.
- 3:22Help us to know that you are so much greater than any of our
- 3:26circumstances or emotions. God silenced the accusations of
- 3:30the enemy. God, I pray in the name of
- 3:33Jesus, Lord, that you will rebuke the devourer from off of
- 3:38our minds. Rebuke the devourer from off of
- 3:42our hearts. Rebuke the devourer from off of
- 3:44our families. Rebuke the devourer from off of
- 3:48our very lives. So God, I pray that you'll help
- 3:51us. Lord, help us to look up and see
- 3:55that our redemption is drawing near.
- 3:57God, help us to look up to the Maker of heaven and earth and we
- 4:01know where our help comes from. Lord, help us.
- 4:04Let us get yoked up with you. Father, your burden is light,
- 4:09Your yoke is easy. And God, we desire to feel the
- 4:13pressure come off. Lord, we desire to walk in the
- 4:18right relationship with you. God consecrate this temple and
- 4:22help us to see anything that we've allowed in that is not of
- 4:26you and for you. God, that is not pleasing to
- 4:28you. Lord, I pray in the name of
- 4:30Jesus that we have the strength to rid this temple of anything.
- 4:34God, that is not of you. So God, help us not to delight
- 4:39in evil, but help us to love the truth.
- 4:41Help us to walk in the truth. Help us not to send God against
- 4:45you in heaven. God, I pray that you'll set us
- 4:49in heavenly places. Give us victory over the enemy.
- 4:52Help us to put our heel on the head of the snake.
- 4:55God, help us to crush the rebellion.
- 4:58Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray all these things.
- 5:02Amen. Let's start in verse one.
- 5:10And he spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought
- 5:15always to pray and not to faint. What a word for us for this hour
- 5:20and for this day. We should be men of prayer.
- 5:24We should be women of prayer. We should be people of prayer.
- 5:28Friends, don't let the enemy knock us off of the high
- 5:32position that we have with the Lord.
- 5:35This is our lifeline. Prayer is our lifeline to the
- 5:39Father. You can see the disciples as
- 5:41they watch their Master working miracles in the land.
- 5:45They saw that it was all connected to His prayer life.
- 5:49And you can see our need, our desperate need to be people of
- 5:54praise and people of prayer. Friends, do not let the enemy
- 5:58silence that. The Lord is well pleased with
- 6:02our prayers. He desires to hear your voice,
- 6:05lift up your voice today and say Jesus is Lord.
- 6:11Give them all of his praise. Give them all of his do praise
- 6:14today friends, glory in the highest.
- 6:18We need to be increasing our prayer life, not decreasing.
- 6:23Prayer is the lifeline to the Father to saying there was in a
- 6:31city a judge who feared not God, neither regarded man.
- 6:36So you can see he's going to start talking about an
- 6:38unrighteous judge who cares nothing for God.
- 6:41Three And there was a widow in that city, and she came unto
- 6:45him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary, For and he would not
- 6:50for a while, but afterward he said within himself, Though I
- 6:55fear not God, nor regard man 5 yet because this widow troubles
- 7:01me, I will avenge her, unless her continual coming she wearies
- 7:06me. So we can see that this is how
- 7:09the Lord views our prayer life. We cannot just keep throwing up
- 7:14these popcorn prayers, friends. We need to get in the prayer
- 7:18closet. We need to get serious about our
- 7:20Father's business. He told us to pray.
- 7:23He told us how to pray and we disregard the ministry of
- 7:27prayer. He told us to rejoice always and
- 7:32pray without ceasing. He told us not to worry about
- 7:34anything, but to pray about everything.
- 7:37He told us to take every thought captive and make it obedient
- 7:41unto Christ. And what do we do?
- 7:43We let our thoughts and imagination run wild.
- 7:51And it's all of the negative worries and cares and anxiety
- 7:56that chokes out the faith, friends.
- 7:59We must be people of prayer. And you can see here that God
- 8:04desires for us to be like this widow and come to him
- 8:09continuously and wear him out. He desires for us to wear him
- 8:14out with our prayers, friends. And he moves mightily in that.
- 8:20And He desires more than anything the communication.
- 8:23Friends, He will up your communication with Him one way
- 8:27or another. And we might as well up the
- 8:30communication when the chips are high, when things are good.
- 8:33Don't wait until they're down in the dumps before you start
- 8:38crying out to the Lord. Don't let the abundance that you
- 8:43have and the blessings that you have make you forget about God.
- 8:52Let's praise Him in the abundance, friends.
- 8:57Give Him all of His praise and glory.
- 9:00Do honor today because He is so faithful to us and so good, and
- 9:07He answers us when we wear Him out.
- 9:13Don't give up just because the healing didn't come.
- 9:16Don't give up just because the mountain didn't move.
- 9:20Don't give up, friends, just because the affliction didn't
- 9:26leave. Don't give up, friends, just
- 9:29because you see the negative demonic attacks still continuing
- 9:34on. Don't give up.
- 9:35Increase your prayer life, friends.
- 9:40Six. And the Lord said, hear what the
- 9:44unjust judge said. What did he say?
- 9:47He says, though I fear not God, nor regard man, yet because this
- 9:55widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual
- 9:59coming she wearies me. And then Jesus says, Listen to
- 10:03what he said. Wear God out, friends. 7 And
- 10:09shall not God avenge his own elect, which cried day and night
- 10:14unto him, though he bears long with them?
- 10:19God's long-suffering friends? How many times do we turn our
- 10:23backs on him because things are going good?
- 10:26How many times do we turn our backs on Him because we don't
- 10:29see Him and we can't feel them and we don't hear them?
- 10:33And we are so drawn to all of the amusement in our lives,
- 10:38Friends, we are so drawn by all of the things of this world.
- 10:43The pride of life, friends, the lust of the eyes and the lust of
- 10:48the flesh. They draw us away from God.
- 10:52And here we see that God desires to increase our prayer life.
- 11:01Hey, I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
- 11:04Who? His own elect.
- 11:07God will avenge his own elect speedily, Friends.
- 11:11Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, shall he find faith
- 11:15on the earth? When the Son of Man comes, will
- 11:19he find faith on the earth? When the Son of Man comes, will
- 11:26he find faith on the earth? What is he telling us here,
- 11:31friends? This is an indicator.
- 11:33This is an intelligence indicator.
- 11:35As life goes on, you're going to see people become lovers of
- 11:40pleasure and lovers of self, lovers of money, greedy and
- 11:46idolaters. You're going to see the whole
- 11:49world, friends, fall away. You're going to see the
- 11:54reprobate mind increase. You're going to see, you're
- 11:58going to see it, friends. This apostate church rising up.
- 12:04You're going to see it, friends. And then what he says, will he
- 12:09even find faith on this earth? Friends, if you have breath in
- 12:14your lungs, increase your faith today.
- 12:16It's like that heavy shield, friends.
- 12:20And the full armor. It's been dipped in the water
- 12:24and the leather bands are soaked to extinguish the fiery darts of
- 12:29the enemy. But guess what?
- 12:30That shield is heavy. But thank God, Hallelujah, Jesus
- 12:36is the heavy lifter, and he helps us to lift up our faith
- 12:41over our minds, over our thoughts, over our
- 12:45circumstances, and over our emotions.
- 12:48We must have the faith. And Jesus is asking here, will
- 12:52he even find faith on the earth when he returns?
- 12:56What a word. 9 And he spoke this parable unto us, unto certain,
- 13:04which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and
- 13:08despised others. So these are the ones who are
- 13:12holier than thou, these are the ones who are the hypocrites.
- 13:15These are the ones who look down the nose at those that don't
- 13:19look like them or smell like them.
- 13:25We would do well to have church that allows the homeless to
- 13:31enter in and to worship God because if you remember, foxes
- 13:35have holes and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere
- 13:39to lay his head. How many times have we been
- 13:41visited by angels that did not look like us?
- 13:46Or perhaps they were in a state that we were disagreeable with
- 13:57and we kicked them out of the congregation.
- 14:01What a thought. 10 Two men went up into the temple to pray.
- 14:08One was a Pharisee, the other was a publican.
- 14:12So that would have been a tax collector.
- 14:14Friends, these publicans, they were in charge of collecting the
- 14:18publica, which was the Roman money. 11 The Pharisee stood and
- 14:25prayed thus with himself. God, I thank you that I am not
- 14:31as other men are, extortioners, unjust adulterers, or even as
- 14:37this publican. 12 I fast twice a week.
- 14:42I give tithes of all that I possess. 13 And the publican
- 14:49standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto
- 14:54heaven, but struck upon his breast, saying, God, be merciful
- 15:02to me, a Sinner. 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house
- 15:09justified rather than the other. For everyone that exalts himself
- 15:13shall be abased, and he that humbles himself shall be
- 15:18exalted. Humble yourself before the Lord.
- 15:22Operate in humility, friends, and just remember that the root
- 15:27of humility is humiliation. Let yourself be humiliated
- 15:31before man and be exalted before God.
- 15:34Almighty God is the only one that we need to impress,
- 15:38friends, God is the only one that we need to be concerned
- 15:42about. Do not let the fear of man
- 15:45control your thought process friends.
- 15:48Get rid of all that garbage. You can see here how God views
- 15:54our prayer lives. Look at how this Pharisee who
- 15:58was doing all of the ceremony and tradition, just right to the
- 16:03letter, he was making sure that he checked every box.
- 16:07He had his church attendance, he had his nice attire, he had the
- 16:12right vehicle, he lived in the right neighborhood.
- 16:17He made sure that his tax records showed how much money he
- 16:22was giving to charitable contributions.
- 16:28And God wasn't impressed. And look at how this tax
- 16:34collector who saw his need for repentance, that there is more
- 16:39rejoicing in heaven over 1 Sinner who sees his need for
- 16:44repentance Repent today. Friends, that's not a nasty,
- 16:48dirty word. That is a beautiful word that
- 16:51God has given you one more opportunity today to turn it all
- 16:55around. If you woke up this morning, if
- 16:58you have breath in your lungs, it's not too late.
- 17:05Make it right with God, beat on your breast and cry out to him.
- 17:12Say, Lord, have mercy on me. I've made it all about this
- 17:15world. I've made it all about money.
- 17:17I've made it all about position. I've made it all about the wrong
- 17:21things, about my reputation, and my pride has crept in and I am
- 17:28not worthy of you. I am an unprofitable servant.
- 17:36And watch how the Lord comes in and fills you, friends.
- 17:41You must be emptied of yourself. You must be emptied of this
- 17:44world to receive the feeling that the Lord desires for you
- 17:48for today. And then do it again tomorrow.
- 17:51And if you get another day, do it again that day.
- 17:53And if you get another day, do it again that day.
- 17:56Friends, don't let a single day go by without being emptied of
- 18:02yourself, so that you can be filled with the Holy Spirit. 15
- 18:11And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch
- 18:16them. But when his disciples saw it,
- 18:18they rebuked them. So we can see, Jesus blesses the
- 18:23little children, He loves the little children, and unless we
- 18:26become like little children, we shall not enter into the Kingdom
- 18:30of God. 16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer
- 18:37little children to come unto me, and forbid them not.
- 18:41For as such is the Kingdom of God.
- 18:43Truly I say unto you, Who so ever shall not receive the
- 18:50Kingdom of God, as a little child shall in no way enter
- 18:55therein. We must have the faith of a
- 19:00little child. What is the faith of a little
- 19:02child? Friends, it's very simple.
- 19:07It's just that it's the simple gospel.
- 19:12We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that Jesus came to the
- 19:18earth as a baby. We believe that Jesus died for
- 19:24our sins, and we believe that he was raised from the dead on the
- 19:31third day and appeared to many. And we believe that he ascended
- 19:35to the right hand of the Father, and he went to prepare a place
- 19:39for us. We believe that Jesus is God.
- 19:44We believe that he's coming back again.
- 19:47We believe that where he is, we will be.
- 19:52We believe that we're heading into the New Jerusalem.
- 19:57We believe that all of the evil in this world will be dealt
- 20:01with. We believe that we have an
- 20:06eternal inheritance that this world can never take.
- 20:12We believe that our Heavenly Father takes care of us.
- 20:17We believe that He's the one that provides our clothing and
- 20:20our food. We believe that He gives us our
- 20:23next breath, the next beat, and our chest of our heart.
- 20:28We believe He is good. We believe that we desperately
- 20:33need Him. We must have the faith like a
- 20:35little child. 18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good
- 20:40master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
- 20:4519 And Jesus said unto him, Why do you call me good?
- 20:48None is good except one, and that is God.
- 20:52So he's telling this rich young ruler, Do you understand that
- 20:57you are calling me God? And if you do acknowledge that,
- 21:08then you must obey what I have to say. 20 You know the
- 21:13commandments don't commit adultery, do not kill, do not
- 21:17steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and
- 21:20mother. 21 And he said all these things I've kept from my youth
- 21:25up. He was so excited, he thought
- 21:28that he could work his way into heaven. 22 Now when Jesus heard
- 21:32these things, he said unto him, Yet you lack one thing.
- 21:37Sell all that you have distribute unto the poor, and
- 21:43you shall have treasure in heaven.
- 21:45Come follow me. He knew that his possessions
- 21:50possessed him. He knew that all of the material
- 21:57gained in the position and even his youth was a hindrance to him
- 22:05being able to enter into the Kingdom of God.
- 22:07And the proverb says, don't give me too much that I might forget
- 22:11about you, and don't give me too little that I might have to
- 22:14steal, but give me just enough. And we can see that the material
- 22:18blessings that this rich young ruler had was actually a
- 22:22stumbling block to him. 23 And when he heard this, he was very
- 22:27sorrowful, for he was very rich. How many rich people here will
- 22:34not enter the Kingdom of God? And perhaps they give God a nod,
- 22:38perhaps they say they believe, but in the reality they trust in
- 22:43their wealth more than they trust in God.
- 22:47Far be it from us, friends, far be it from us to have faith in
- 22:53our finances, we must have complete and total sold out
- 23:00faith to the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.
- 23:04And do not worry about where your next meal is going to come
- 23:07from. Do not worry about what you're
- 23:09going to put on your body for clothing.
- 23:12Do not worry, little flock. 24 And when Jesus saw that he was
- 23:21very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have
- 23:25riches enter into the Kingdom of God?
- 23:2925 For it is easier for a camel to go through the needle's eye
- 23:34than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.
- 23:38So we can see here, This is an eternal truth Friends, that
- 23:42these riches keep rich man, rich men from entering in Friends
- 23:48because they do not see their need for a savior.
- 23:52They do not see their need for provision.
- 23:58They have everything that they need and it is actually the
- 24:01chains that they wrap around their bodies that choke out the
- 24:06faith. Friends 26 And they that heard
- 24:12it said, who then can be saved at this time?
- 24:15They thought that the material blessings was proof that God was
- 24:19in it and God was for them and God actually loved them.
- 24:23They thought that by being rich it proved.
- 24:26And it's no different. In our hour and our day, we
- 24:29exalt the rich. No matter what their morality
- 24:32is. We are fascinated by the most
- 24:35wealthy. Why?
- 24:37Because we think of them as being superhuman.
- 24:42We think of them as idols. And far be it from us to turn
- 24:47our backs on Yahweh because we are obsessed about Mammon.
- 24:53And you cannot serve both God and money.
- 24:57You will love 1 and you will hate the other.
- 25:00It's that simple. Friends, just think about it.
- 25:05If you love God, then you hate money.
- 25:08Why? Because of what money does.
- 25:11It separates us, keeps people from being able to have access
- 25:17to clean drinking water and nutritious foods and safety of
- 25:23their house. Think about it friends and thank
- 25:29God. Hallelujah, in the Kingdom of
- 25:31God it will be a different economy. 27 And he said, the
- 25:40things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
- 25:44So we can see in Joseph of Arimathea, we can see in
- 25:47Nicodemus, we can see that there is a way that a rich man can
- 25:55enter into heaven, but it must be a calling placed upon his
- 25:59life friends to steward the blessings of God and to steward
- 26:04them well. There is a way that someone can
- 26:07drink alcohol and not become an alcoholic, but by and large,
- 26:1499.9% do not know how to steward the blessings of God in an
- 26:22appropriate manner. And that's what Jesus references
- 26:25here. With God it is possible, but
- 26:28with man it is not possible. And most of us, when we get the
- 26:31taste of wealth, we're not willing to come back down from
- 26:35that high mountain, and we die in that, and we're eternally
- 26:40separated from God, because money was our God. 28 Then Peter
- 26:48said, Lo, we have left all, and followed you. 29 And he said
- 26:53unto them, truly I say unto you, there is no man that has left
- 26:57house, parents, brothers, wife, children, for the Kingdom of
- 27:03God's sake. 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this
- 27:09present time and in the world to come?
- 27:12Life everlasting, Life everlasting, manifold more, life
- 27:17everlasting. And the greatest gift that God
- 27:20could ever give you is the forgiveness of your sins.
- 27:23You had a debt piled up that you could never repay.
- 27:27It was billions and trillions of dollars worth of debt that you
- 27:32could never get out of friends. And Jesus paid it all.
- 27:40Here you can see Peters heart being revealed.
- 27:43Perhaps at this time they still thought that Jesus was going to
- 27:47take over in a military mighty way and to go in and usurp the
- 27:54authority over the Roman government.
- 27:56And perhaps they were following like Judas, thinking all about
- 28:00the finances that they could receive and the power and
- 28:04position. Perhaps they were like James and
- 28:06John and they just wanted the high position in his Kingdom.
- 28:10And Jesus shows them it's not the way of God.
- 28:17We will receive manifold more in this lifetime, and in the one to
- 28:23come, friends. 31 And then he took unto him the 12 and said
- 28:28unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that
- 28:33are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man shall
- 28:37be accomplished. 32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles.
- 28:44He shall be mocked, spitefully entreated, spat upon, and they
- 28:53shall scourge him and put him to death.
- 28:59And the third day he shall rise again.
- 29:02He gives them line by line, friends, what is about to
- 29:07happen. He doesn't hold back.
- 29:11He shows them what is about to happen.
- 29:17He tells them that he is heading to Jerusalem, that all the
- 29:25things are going to be accomplished that were written
- 29:28about him. He said I will be delivered to
- 29:33the Gentiles, I will be mocked, I will be spitefully treated, I
- 29:40will be spat upon, I will be scourged, I will be put to
- 29:46death, and I will rise on the third day.
- 29:50And here you can see that they missed it. 34 And they
- 29:57understood none of these things, and this saying was hid from
- 30:01them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
- 30:05And we've got to let them have a break because they were not yet
- 30:10indwelled with the Holy Spirit, like you and like me.
- 30:14And sometimes I think we squander that inheritance,
- 30:18Friends. We have the Holy Spirit living
- 30:21inside of us. And what do we do?
- 30:24We don't cultivate that relationship.
- 30:26We don't sit and allow the Holy Spirit to have the last say in
- 30:30our lives. We don't use the discernment.
- 30:34We are led by our emotions, friends, and we're squandering
- 30:40our inheritance. We're searing the conscience,
- 30:46we're grieving the spirit when we are not spirit led and spirit
- 30:52fed friends. 35 And it came to pass that as he was come near
- 30:59unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the wayside begging.
- 31:0536 And hearing the multitude passed by, he asked what it
- 31:09meant. 37 And they told him that Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.
- 31:1638 And he cried, saying, Jesus, you, son of David, have mercy on
- 31:23me. 39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he
- 31:30should hold his peace. But he cried so much more.
- 31:34You, son of David, have mercy on me.
- 31:39Do we have that kind of desperation, friends, for the
- 31:44mercy of God over our lives? Doesn't matter if you messed up
- 31:48yesterday, make it right today. Don't live in that sin, friends.
- 31:53Don't live in that condemnation that is not from God.
- 32:00Only conviction comes from the Holy Spirit.
- 32:03He will convict you of all the times that you do things wrong.
- 32:07Whenever you turn your back on God, when you care nothing for
- 32:11him, whenever you are doing things your own way, when you're
- 32:14not seeking wise counsel from the Spirit, He'll convict you of
- 32:19that. But if you keep going down that
- 32:22road, there is silence. That happens.
- 32:25We need to cultivate and break up the fallow ground and make
- 32:29sure that we allow the Holy Spirit to start speaking to us
- 32:33again. Sit in His presence and ask the
- 32:36Holy Spirit what it is that He wants to say to you.
- 32:39There's something in your life that is holding you back from
- 32:43receiving the fullness that God has for you.
- 32:46We should cry out like this blind man.
- 32:49We are blind without him and we're deaf without Him, and
- 32:52we're dumb without Him, friends, and we're all like animals
- 32:56without Him. And we need to come up to the
- 32:59higher ground. We need to come up to the
- 33:02celestial beings. We need to come up to the
- 33:05inheritance that God has for us. We need to start walking in our
- 33:09bridal identity now. Friends, don't wait for heaven.
- 33:13We can have it now. We have our inheritance now.
- 33:17He gives us the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to walk in this
- 33:21world, and to not satisfy the lust of the flesh, and with food
- 33:29and clothing be content. 40 And Jesus stood and commanded him to
- 33:38be brought unto him, and when he was come near, he asked him, 41
- 33:42saying, What will you that I shall do unto you?
- 33:46And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus
- 33:53said unto him, Receive your sight, your faith has saved you,
- 33:57Gwend on 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed
- 34:02him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they
- 34:05saw it, gave praise unto God. Can you even imagine this real
- 34:11story, real place, real time? Friends, can you even imagine
- 34:17the sight of seeing blind man receive his sight?
- 34:24What an amazing story in the Bible.
- 34:29And we were once blind, but now we can see.
- 34:35We need to know that God is still doing the miraculous.
- 34:39He's not done. There's no cessation of these
- 34:44miracles, Friends, it's available today.
- 34:48I've seen it with my own eyes. I've seen those who suffer
- 34:56receive their healing. And it still is going on today.
- 35:02And we would do well to ask the Lord what it is that He wants us
- 35:08to do for today. And then as He leads you in
- 35:12those places, be obedient to the voice of God.
- 35:15Be obedient whenever the Holy Spirit is nudging you, do not
- 35:21just discount it and discredit it as your own voice.
- 35:26The Lord's voice sounds holy and pure and good and righteous,
- 35:34pleasing. And He will tell you things
- 35:37about yourself that you know does not come from your own
- 35:41mind. He tells you that you were
- 35:43loved. He tells you that you are His.
- 35:47He tells you that he desires a relationship with you.
- 35:52He tells you that you are a child of the Most High.
- 35:55He tells you that you are more than a conqueror.
- 35:58He tells you that every spiritual gift is available to
- 36:02you. He tells you that he loves you.
- 36:05He tells you that you are His and that you're headed towards
- 36:09an eternal home and where He is, you will be.
- 36:14I hope you've been blessed by this chapter.
- 36:20I know I sure have many times over.
- 36:26Praying for every single one of you.
- 36:30I love you, God loves you and be blessed today and stay prayed up
- 36:39today. We'll see you back here
- 36:41tomorrow. God bless you.
